Yes!!! Let’s talk about it!

He loves ‘Gumi so much. He was just having a bit of a ✨ emotional breakdown ✨ during that whole selling him off deal. And personally I was coming off the Shouto train so it hits twice as hard cause he always gets his GF taken by Endeavor or Dabi (sometimes Bakugo), which Dabi makes sense since he HATES Shouto. But post-atonement Enji 😭I totally get the kink though (tbh I kinda like it in reverse 🤭). There’s actually a really GOOD fic I like called U&I with Bully!Megumi and you sleep with Toji to kinda get back at him after finding out he’s been using you. I like the revengeful ones or when it’s a 2-parter and they find out what you did.

BUT I DIGRESS, okay so I got some big brainrot and I was half asleep and started thinking about it and ahh! Plus I didn't post for his birthday so this is like the most slap together, grammarless of my brain rotting (and you brought it about Nonnie, so you gotta take responsibility lol) but:

(SFW) Imagine okay, like a modern AU: Toji is trying to be a better dad after the endless benders after losing his wife. He went from floating from random woman to woman, trying to catch that feeling again like when he was with his first wife. It always devolves into the same thing with him squeezing them dry for every penny he can get before moving on to the next with Megumi in tow. Sometimes it didn’t include Megumi, Toji would leave him alone for weeks to months at a time as he got older, occasionally bringing home some new mom that he’ll eventually abandon at the end of the day or that eventually gets tired of him; tired of both of them because Megumi refused to be nice to anyone Toji brought home.

But it finally hits him to be better, to try to be a good parent. Sadly, it’s too late. Megumi is a teenager now, one year from graduating high school and going to college, where Toji will definitely not have any chance to atone. He doesn’t blame the kid, it’s his own fault.

However, he sees a lot of himself in his son. The apathy that borders depression, the lone wolf attitude, the quietness and independent streak, the very small number of friends (if any, because Megumi NEVER brings anyone over or talks about school at all, usually avoids talking to him in general). He isn’t really sure what to say to the kid, not that he’s figured it all out himself or that Megumi would even listen to him. Indifference was the best he could hope for most of the time.

Then one day, he shows up at home with someone. A girl, even. And you’re cute, way too chipper to be following around his wallflower of a kid. Always entering and leaving with a “Hi, Mr. Fushiguro. Bye, Mr. Fushiguro. Looking good today, Mr. Fushiguro. Love the haircut, Mr. Fushiguro. Rocking that sweater, Mr. Fushiguro. Have a good day, Mr. Fushiguro.”

You seem too good for nobodies like them; and when he teases Megumi with the notion, his son claims you’re just his class partner for this semester, nothing else. But Toji sees how soft he gets around you, the little bit of extra effort he puts in trying to make conversation when you’re over, the blush and grouchy embarrassed complaints he makes whenever Toji tells him to leave his room door open when you guys work on projects in there. The complaints usually get a little quieter given the right laugh from you.

You have a good effect. Megumi seems a little less tense, walking the world with a little less cynicism even though it’s still clearly there. He starts hanging out with two other kids from his school, Megumi claims they’re your friends, not his, but Toji has seen the pink haired boy over twice without you. Overall, you all seem like a really good kids.

One weekend you pop because you and your friends were in the neighborhood and wanted to see if Megumi wanted to join in on whatever you’re doing. Unfortunately, Megumi’s not home, but it gives Toji a small window to prod you a little about your relationship with Megumi. He’s observant enough to notice by now that the two of you like each other but he just wanted to hear it from you, and you make the most darling lovesick face when he asks. When Megumi finds out what happened though. He doesn’t like it, and he makes it clear that the interference was highly unappreciated it. Toji is simply sitting in the kitchen and trying to enjoy his apple, and he’s getting the interrogation treatment by this little gremlin (affectionately) half his size.

“What were the two of you talking about?” “Nothing in particular.” “If you don’t need anything then don’t bother her.” “Why? You don’t want me speaking to her?” “No. She isn’t your type anyway.”

Then, Megumi starts going off on a tangent of why Toji shouldn’t be interested. You’re too young, you're still months off from 18, you don’t have any money for him to leech, and there’s no way you can decide on a movie together with that age gap; 'You’ll kick the bucket 30 years before her' is the meanest one though.

Based on the disrespect, it still looks like Toji has a lot of work to put in but it’s almost cute, in an grouchy, bratty (also affectionately) sea urchin type way that he’s getting so worked up over you. He thinks the kid will combust if he mentions that he does think you’re cute (in an overly energetic bubbly kind of way), and it makes him release a short chuckle as he resists the intrusive thought, which only serves to make Megumi’s frustration even worse.

Normally, he'd get tired at this point and ask if Megumi was done mouthing off yet, but this time it makes him glad to see Megumi getting so worked up over something. It’s a good feeling to know his actions didn’t completely ruin his son, that he didn't completely destroy Megumi's ability to care about life like his former family and the world had once done to him. It makes smile the tiniest bit even as Megumi seems to try to trudge away after making his point. Whatever point there was to be had. The boy is such a chronic overthinking about everything and everyone, including if you’re one of those girls at the school that squeal when they see him pick him up at school on the rare occasion.

“Hey,” Toji calls out to get his attention. “Do you know what you’re doing?” It’s not the best words but it’s the only way to sum up the familiar feelings he gets of his past, right after he left his family, right before he met Megumi’s mom. And after losing her without ever really making the most of everything back then and treasuring the moments together. “It’s hard to find something like that. Don’t do anything you’ll regret.”

He can sense the tension draining from Megumi, the panic and shaky nervousness from seconds ago leaving in the form of drooped shoulders and a soften, mildly confused expression as he looks back at him. Something seems to finally click in that overly worked brain of the younger Fushiguro and he mumbles, “I know.”

And Megumi gets that look again, that quiet one, too caught up in his own head.

"Do I need to make room for a daughter-in-law in that case?" he asks lazily before taking another bite of his apple, the chewing echoing. It's enough to earn some grumbles and a red face. He smirks when the boy quickly decides to hobble back to his room and hide away in embarassment. Like a normal kid.

And Toji thinks that maybe…a small maybe… that maybe they’ve gotten a little closer. If only in that moment. Regardless, he really hopes that the talk is one of those things the school already covered because he really doesn’t want to be responsible for that.

Last night was so much fun. Lord knows I’m the biggest homebody, but I popped out to go see my bestie’s play down in Torrance & it was SO GOOD.

First off baby girl was TOP BILLED & she ain’t even tell me. Second her role was theeeee most entertaining and dynamic & that’s not even me being biased cos I love her lolol. Her lines & delivery were the only ones that really had the audience rolling. It was amazing & I’m so damn proud of her!!!

After the show a few cast members & friends all took a midnight stroll to this really nice bar around the corner that had surprisingly cheap drinks & we did Karaoke until 2am 😂😂😂 my voice is goneeeee from all the yelling right now hahahha

Definitely started my first weekend home in over a month off right, especially knowing how jam packed the next 48hrs will be 🤯😖 I’ve got to get ready to record in an hour, then stop by Dylan’s before he leaves for tour with the Loveless boys, then this evening was originally supposed to be sweet Issa’s birthday gathering but her gf just got out of a long hospital stay so I’m just going to take over some flowers & card & whatever else she says they need. Then Sunday I’m headed to the beach for some family time & have to get back to Hollywood to wrap up a project & get some composing done in the evening.

It’s quite annoying that if seeing the northern lights was a bucklist spot for him, like why would he take her? But then again he always said he loved the idea of doing domestic things like carving pumpkins and he did that with her too. Idk, like if I were his next gf after this it would kiss me off and hurt my feelings that he could be so thoughtless. But then again, men don’t think these things through and they don’t think about how it will effect the next person and their emotions.

For example, I was dating this guy who I really liked, and he would take me to a few cafes and bars that I had heard of but never had been too. And then a mutual friend in the group was sharing a story and mentioned how he would bring his past girlfriends to all these posts. And the kicker was that he had taken a trip with a previous girl he was seeing to a three day weekend trip where they also visits a museum he has always wanted to go to. I felt sick to my stomach. Not only was he basically copy and pasting what he has done in the past- I get it that it was his comfort zone and he was a creature of habit- but he took a trip with some girl to what I consider to be a special place to him. When I confronted him about it, he said he didn’t think of it like that or that way. He said that he basically wanted to go and it was a good time since he was off from work and she was willing to go with him. Long story short, maybe Chris didn’t see it as that sort of a special thing.

Yeah, I think most men don't give things/events the same emotional weight as women do, especially in relationships.

After a while hooking up with my friend became normal. He had broken up with his girl and he pretty much started dating me. Not officially of course but we would hang out a few times a week and he would occasionally surprise me with new panties and sexy outfits. He then whispers in my ear “be a good girl” and walks away. I totally panic like the first time he touched me. I go in the room and I think about it and struggle through it but I get my swimsuit on. I go to the mirror and begin to contemplate again and all sorts of fillings are and thoughts are going through my brain. I realized I looked pretty good and he accepts me I’m sure he would have my back if the others say something. So I head out with a towel around my waist and I can feel everyone staring at me. I was feeling kinda embarrassed so I dropped my phone off at the table and turned my back towards them and dropped the towel. I turned around to get into the pool and all 3 of them were still looking at me but talking amongst themselves. I get in and we all get to talking. I was so nervous but nobody had said anything so far. After a while of talking and the usual pool games we get out to dry up so I do then jumped in the shower. My friends place had 2 bathrooms so his friends showered up in one and we showered in another. As I was getting dressed I figured it was fine to be girlie around them and my friend agreed. I went through what I packed and found this tiny pink thong that felt so good on and was really sexy. I slip that on and then get some leggings that fit nice and tight between my booty and were not sheer but you could tell what kinda panties were being worn. My top was just a tshirt because we weren’t going anywhere. As I’m getting ready to put my clothes on the guys come into the room to talk to my friend. I tell them to get out until I’m dressed and as they walk out say sorry I thought it was fine since you have underwear on. I look over at my friend and he just shrugged. My friend heard what I said and he jumps into the conversation and tells me “you can do whatever you want, it’s ok if you like him”. Again I get embarrassed but say idk if I want a man but it would be fun to hookup. Everyone kinda laughs and it felt like the tension had all gone away. My friend says well maybe you can start with kissing someone.

I’m an insane Girl Interrupted, Gone Girl, maniac sad girl type when I’m being mistreated… but if someone treats me well I’m the softest, most love-struck, ultra romantic, Disney princess and that’s what most men don’t understand.

The insanity is in there, but you have to do some seriously cruel and thoughtless shit to bring it out.

At my core I just want to be sweet and goofy and have fun with someone who cherishes me and actually pays attention to what I think and say. The next person I date will give me princess treatment at all times because anyone who doesn’t from this point forward is automatically nexted. They’ll probably never believe how dark I can get because they’ll never see it.

I’ll starve that part of me until it shrivels up and dies, somehow, I’ll find a way. I’ll do most of the work. All I need is someone who doesn’t pour fertilizer and water onto that nasty little seed. All I need is someone who helps me plant flowers in the spot where my bitterness once grew.

I was the pure and sweet replacement for my ex’s “crazy ex” in high school. Now his rebound gf will hear stories about how “crazy” I am. What I wish I realized as a teenager is that this would become a pattern for HIM. He’s the common denominator here and he seems to be attracted to women with mental health issues because of their vulnerability, even if subconsciously, because it allows him to play the victim even if he can’t control us in the end.

He’ll happily try all my new cookie recipes and rave to his friends about how creative and skilled I am. He’ll cook for me regularly, not just on special occasions, but because he wants me to miss his cooking when we’re apart like he misses mine. He won’t yell at my cat. He won’t find my strong sense of Justice obnoxious; he’ll love my passion and be proud to have a compassionate partner. He’ll improve my finances instead of ruining them.

He’ll lovingly tease me when I hyper fixate on a craving but it’s out of the way. We’ll have fun when we do errands together instead of arguing. He won’t try to make me feel stupid because he’s intimidated by my intelligence. We’ll go to farmers markets on the weekends and to the gym and fitness classes on week days. If we take a road trip he’ll find my desire to walk around little towns and go to fruit stands, and antique shops, and tiny little museums, endearing.

He won’t dismiss any piece of media or art that I love just because it’s not his usual preference. He’ll take me to dinner because he wants to spoil me and see me smile, not because he wants other men to think he’s cool. Most importantly he will NEVER choose any vice over me, not porn, not alcohol, not even video games.

oscarpiastri I am beyond proud of Y/n, my amazing girlfriend (yes the secret is out), for taking a gold medal in the women’s individual competition for Team GB in Archery. 

It is an honour to spend every day knowing you are by my side cheering me on when I race and so getting to post a congrats on an olympic gold medal post is one of the best feelings because it means I get to support and cheer you on for being so amazing at what you do.

I love you so much and you deserve so many congratulations more than I can give you in a post. I miss you while you’re away in Paris but you’re doing great things and you’ll always be my Cupid. 🧡🧡🧡

P.s I guess I will never be able to fend off the ‘Polite Cat’ allegations. I fear they will haunt me forever.

y/n_archery I understand that, without my agreement Oscar Piastri (@ oscarpiastri) has put out an Instagram post late this afternoon saying that we are dating. This is true and I LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH 🧡🧡🧡

However, to make up for the fact that this would have been a sappy love post, I enlisted the help of Logan Sargeant (@ logansargeant), my darling boyfriend’s best friend, to find some of the most iconic and relatable pictures of Oscar (the last one is me every second of the day). Thank you Logan, you are now my favourite.

Jokes mostly aside, I could not ask for a better partner in life right now. Osc I love you so much and I hope that we continue to share milestones and happy memories together for the rest of our lives. I love you 🧡🧡🧡

We don’t really get a lot of time to hang out, she works a 9-5 and I work nights and weekends at a bar, but she comes to see me at work at least once a week, and we try and plan dates as often as possible. We’re actually going on a trip next week.

We did not move fast. We were the anti stereotype. She wasn’t out at the time, so I was in a awkward limbo of not wanting to make it serious until she was comfortable. We started dating in March 2023 and didn’t ‘officially’ get together until august 2023.

Our most recent proper date (aside from hanging out) was to see the Garfield movie because I love him and she loves the cinema (she cried over garfs dad) and afterwards we fed the birds in town and people watched 10/10 date

Our first kiss was Bad. We were on a night out and I was trying to find the courage to do it all night but I was too nervous. My boss (and family friend) had given us a lift home and interrupted my first attempt as he pulled up, and then we accidentally kissed right in front of him when I was going in to kiss her cheek. bad and awkward.

I have a huge family (6 siblings) and she’s a bit socially anxious, so she doesn’t know them very well. She tolerates my folks fine, but she gets along with my younger sister TOO well and it makes me afraid because they’re insane together. Her family are all so lovely, and knew we were dating before she even came out, and they’ve been nothing but supportive.

This is hard one. When we were teenagers (before I knew her) we discovered that we had a lot in common, but now we’re total opposites in almost every sense. I’m a bit sarcastic and brash, I wear a lot of retro punk stuff and she’s super hyper and cute and her whole vibe is Pink and blue. We unironically get called the Goth house & Pink house meme. But, we both really like Dead boy detectives right now, we have similar tastes in music, we both really like crafty stuff, we have a really similar sense of humour. I know there’s more but it’s very niche things. I kind of like that we’re so different, because it’s refreshing to discover new things that I wouldn’t necessarily seek out myself. She makes me step away from my comfort zone.

Also, I know you’re anon for a reason, but do you have any preferred pronouns ?? Or a throwaway name?? I don’t wanna keep calling you anon in my head.

01: Do you have a good relationship with your parents? i do! my mom's my best friend in a way i'm sure is annoying to people who don't, and my dad is annoying but he is the best dad i know

03: Do you regret anything? biiiiiig question. i try not to. i try to tell myself i needed to do things to learn or whatever but i'm always wondering how else things could've gone and second guessing things as i do them

05: What is your relationship status? very much single. if you want to hear about my latest crushes you'll find it in my "vie" and "lore" tags but i'm sure they're not going anywhere so shoot your shot!

08: Played any sports? my dad coached a soccer team i was on when i was 4 but i was more interested in the dandelions on the field… outside of required gym class stuff (which i did not enjoy) i've enjoyed tennis and beach volleyball with my family (18 y/o brother included)

12: Have you ever stayed up 48 hours? i think my record is 36, the last day/night/flight home from seeing my now-ex tumblr gf

well. if anything (back to earlier qs i could say i regret the whole met-online-ldr thing but it was good when it happened and im seeing it work out so well for friends so it could've been worthwhile in the long run!

13: Do you hate anyone at the moment? irl i don't entirely hate anyone but i have some strong mixed near-hate feelings about the exes (and one not-yet-ex? i think? they're on the way out) of people i care about, and a certain ex friend of mine (if she makes the next move in reaching out i might be able to find it in myself to forgive but at this point it won't be as easy as it could've been)

21: What are your plans for this weekend? tbd but probably festive family things? extended family christmas dinner is on monday and we'll do our gift exchange that morning (speaking of which i need to get ready rn to leave for our family brunch followed by mall trip to shop for secret santa - my parents+18 y/o brother+i do a mini secret santa - well mini in that there are only 4 names but we have a generous budget bc it's usually our main/only source of gifts amongst ourselves. i got my mom again this year and she made it a little too easy by requesting a specific pair of raybans that make up most of the budget, but i'll get creative with the rest) we're also going to the distillery district for the vibes on thursday and my dad's taking these 2 days off work so collectively it all feels like weekend plans. maybe i'll go skating on the actual weekend! i haven't done it yet this season and i miss it

update here is that i didn't find anything for mom except the raybans so i may be going out alone to shop more on fri/weekend

34: Who/what was your last dream about? damn. the one time i don't write it down. oh! ok the last one i remember was one where a version of my ex bestie and i got back together so to speak but she was being overtly manipulative and i had to decide if i was ok with that? which. thanks subconscious! way to mix her with the bitch i had a crush on in middle school! real ex-bestie would never do that but i think it's created some irrational fear where before i just had sadness that i was mostly over (to briefly recap the situation there, she's depression-ghosted and blocked me before and she did it again earlier this year but it hurt more bc we'd been closer leading up to it than we had before the first time)

55: Are you mean? i think i can be really petty but people take it hard because they think of me as being so nice, so i know of some people who'd say i'm mean
