HYPOTHETICALLY (because I think I’d cry if I actually wrote that canonically lmfao)

after catching him, Neighbor!König is a nervous wreck :( he worked up the confidence to put a sticky note on your door while you were home and you opened it? he’s devastated thinking you’re completely turned off - I mean, he’s the one that you’ve been talking to… and he ran away. he was barely brave enough to sign his name on the last sticky note, he’s sure that after finding out he was your mysterious penpal you’re completely disenchanted

Neighbor!König doesn’t have the nerve to leave his apartment for a couple days, anxious that he’d catch you in the hall or elevator. so when he finally calms down enough to leave another note, an apology, and sees a man - not a neighbor, just some guy - leave your apartment? his poor heart sinks

and it’s too late to go back inside! the man that’s closed the door to your apartment saw and made eye contact with him! Neighbor!König is absolutely distraught, did this guy know about your sticky note exchange? would he tell you he saw your neighbor holding a sticky note? would you never talk to König again? would you move or call him a creep? his thoughts spiral in a matter of seconds

quiet as ever, he quickly walks past… whoever that was. mood soured, tears brimming against his waterline, he b-lines for the stairwell. Neighbor!König, simply sits down and waits. waits for that man to take the elevator and leave. sticky note clutched in his now sweaty palm, his sighs

hooray halloween!!! i don't celebrate it myself but i just had to draw it because i'm sure they still do

i think they eventually stopped throwing parties because of bojack's uneasy reputation and his reluctance to do so generally, but pb doesn't mind! they mostly spend it together, dressing up in silly costumes (ideas for which pb comes up with, because bojack says he doesn't care anyway (this is only half true)), eating sweets and watching movies

I love hybrid and shifter au's, but whenever I think too long about them, I start thinking about my own pets and the kind of things I say to them.

"[Dog] STOP following the cat! The cat would be happy to be friends but the cat does not want you to sniff her butt!"

"[Dog1], stop sniffing her genitals! [Dog2]'s already displaying all the behaviors of a submissive pup, you don't need to sniff her genitals too!"

In short, Price is exhausted and is considering telling Gaz that he's not allowed to keep the cat hybrid. (But he can't stand the combined sad faces from his team and the kitty... no matter how many times the kitty smacks particular team members... daily...)

Where I live in the US, there are people who will start setting off fireworks in the first week of June and it lasts until the first week of July. It's an entire month of hell for dogs, pets in general, and anyone with sensitivity to loud, sudden noises for whatever reason.

So I'm imagining Ed living in an area like mine, and it's awful for him. He starts to get anxious whenever the sun goes down. He's scared to pick up anything heavy or fragile after dark because he knows if there's a firework he's going to flinch really badly and drop it. Every night he knows it's coming and there's nothing he can do.

And then he starts dating Stede, and when the time of year for fireworks rolls around, he's a bit embarrassed but Stede is horrified by the thought of Ed having to suffer like this. He tries talking to the neighbors, then yelling at the neighbors, and then finding out the limits of how well most US cities are actually willing to monitor firework setoffs. And he'll try so hard to find ways to help Ed cope. Noise-cancelling headphones, watching TV with the volume up, playing games as a distraction. Holding Ed close to help him stay grounded in the present moment.

It won't entirely fix it, and Ed's still going to be jumpy and easily-startled, but Ed's going to feel so loved and safe that it'll help.

Not to go all Catholic school alumna on tumblr, lol, but currently thinking a lot about "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24) and the fact that a significant amount of so-called Christians in the US voted this week in support of dismantling human rights and destroying the environment all because a rich man told them he would make it easier for rich people to stay rich. Cool.
