With the new year right around the corner, I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who’s been in my life and stuck around these past few years of me being in the self ship community. And thank you to the mutuals and followers who not only became such wonderful friends, but also to those who became important people in my life as I hope I am to yours. Self shipping has always been a special part of who I am as an individual and my way of self expression. And I’m just forever thankful of those who supported my work and allowed me to express myself through it. And even though I have my bad days or feel discouraged of my work at times, I’m always reminded by seeing y’all’s own work and expressions of love in your own ways in the community. But also just seeing the love y’all show and share for these fictional characters that bring you all so much joy is inspiring. I always believed self shipping is a form of self love, and I hope we all continue to use it that way and keep inspiring each other. Io was the entity that destroyed the world prior and the world managed to defeat them by containing them or smth and that's how Io got their body. So they just coma'd out under that one theatre waiting for true relationship's kiss and then Val found em. Good job Val the end times are now approaching once more

Also Io and magic being suspiciously intertwined with binary code and other such things makes me think of Dune. Idk if you know anything about the series, but in Dune (before the main series) humanity ends up having to flee earth bc the artificial intelligence they made grows too powerful. I think??? Anyway that's why the Bene Gesserit and the Mentats are normal humans with like superhuman mental prowess. Because after humanity fled earth they were like "OK no more machines. Brains ONLY" so yeah. The Religious remind me of the Bene Gesserit kind of.
