2 things! 1-Do you play HSR (Honkai Star Rail) and 2-No pressure or anything but when is your story coming back?

I played a bit of HSR but I’m nowhere near as far along in it or as active on it as I am in Genshin. The last character I got was Boothill lol (I live laugh love Boothill).

It still astounds me that people actually enjoyed reading my story haha. I know it’s been a while, but with school and everything it’s been hard to even find time to write. I think I mentioned before that I’m kind of revamping literally everything—so I also have to find the time to draw the chapter art. So many characters are being scrapped/added/changed to help facilitate the storyline a bit better without me having to be so long-winded with it. The problem I was having was I would just write and write and write without really taking the story anywhere. I want to have a bit more structure to it so that it’s easier for me to get chapters published and easier to read as a whole. But, I won’t be able to do anything until school gives me a break 😭

It takes a bit of time to plan out a story lol. I also don’t wanna be like Chris Colfer and have inaccurate timelines and stuff 😔

I promise it won’t be away forever, but since you’ve been so patient, I’ll give you a couple things you can expect in the new version:

1. Further fleshed out backstory lore for Aurelia (and her mother 😒) along with her and Cyrus’s father (people who know about him seem to like him a lot don’t worry)! But why does Aurelia have light skin and gold hair if her biological father has dark skin and blue hair?? Something’s going on there…

2. More Negative content in general since he seems to be a fan-favorite. He also gets a new underling/sidekick! And when I say more Negative content, I also mean his role in other worlds and what that has to do with his identity and his overall plan. OoooOoOoOoOooOo….

3. Actual Demon King stuff (and he’s updated too) 👀

4. Cyrus’s home world is almost fully fleshed out so seeing some of that too! Probably a lot of that too… I might include a small fetch quest there to give you all a tour. I plan on making a completely separate story for that world (that does not have Cyrus as a main character), but that’s A LONG WAYS AWAY and not fanfiction so 😔

5. Some new characters who are projected to be fan-favorites too. Such as Vincent. Y’all might know who Vincent is, but, if you don’t, trust me you will. We will also be exploring more of my fanon backstory for the Demon King and how it connects to Xanthous as his reincarnation. The Demon King himself WILL be an added character (I’m so excited to actually do a art piece of his new design)! This is gonna be fun.

Here’s some questions that hint at lore drops:

What the heck is going on with Aurelia and why does her mother scare me?? Why does Indicum work with her but seem to be on Cyrus’s side?? Is it maybe because Aurelia’s true intentions are not what we think they are??? 😦

What is Negative’s secret ambition that makes him side with Aurelia? Why do his hands always hurt?? Why does he also have the ability to travel between worlds?????

Xanthous has got some insane lore! What’s going on with his underworld (and what’s going on in the aboveworld??) Why is he so secretive about the demons?

Where is Elrik? Where did he go?? Somebody must know! (Somebody does indeed)

Why is Cyrus’s scepter starting to talk to him?????

What does the design on the back of Cyrus’s neck mean? Is it a continuation of his tattoo?? Doesn’t seem like it. Why does he have such a bad reaction when that mark is hit??? And why can hear a voice in his head reacting to it too?

And finally, does the Inamoratos Grimoire actually exist? If so, who has it? Who made it? Why? What does it have to do with Xanthous and Cyrus specifically???

I did my best to go out on a high note, and I think I largely succeeded…even if the results aren’t very Halloween-ish. 😅

At long last, we end very similarly to how it all began: In a "world" of sparkle and starlight. 😉

I could wax poetic here about how glad I am to be done, but I think me just saying those words alone is plenty enough of that for tonight. Besides, if you really want to split hairs, it's not over until we do the wrap-up image you Sparklers know I usually like to do...

Anyway. I'm not sure my posting time will reflect this by the time I get done with this description, but I did start on this one early enough in the day to give myself plenty of time to brainstorm and play with the concepts a bit. Though, in fairness, I don't think I actually ended up scratching that many ideas or changing my mind all that much as I worked; I think the bulk of my time was just spent trying to figure out where to squeeze in more detail. After all, the definition does say a detailed imaginary world.

Now, I will admit that I'm not entirely sure this really evokes "world" so much as "little house," ("playhouse?") but this is very much another word I put on the list thinking it would be fun to play with in poetry format. More specifically, I was thinking of how satisfying it was to end Obscutober 2021 with "Phantasmagoria"Obscutober 2021 with "Phantasmagoria" as the final word and was hoping for a similar experience.

But as we discussed yesterday: I'm not working in poetry format this time! 🙃

So I relied on the same "Adult Coloring Book Vibes" that I was trying to channel yesterday, because when I think of trying to encapsulate a tiny imaginary world in a detailed but simple drawing, a lot of Johanna Basford's work comes to mind, particularly her book "Small Victories."

From there, a tiny house as an "easy" way to communicate this is meant to somehow be representative of a whole world wasn't a far leap of logic, so that's what I ran with.

I will also take this opportunity to point out that I deliberately drew the houses to point inward, towards the center of the mandala, to kind of go along with the idea of an "inner" world. It was also just a nice change because I somehow did not really notice until today that every other Obscutober piece I've done this month except maybe Day 7 all "point" outward in some way. 😦

Not that which way they "point" matters all that much, I'm just surprised I didn't really notice I hadn't taken advantage of the ability to "point" inward. That could've been fun to play with on Day 23 in particular!

It also doesn't really show at all, but I was thinking about Haunted Houses when I drew the little house, since tonight is Halloween, which is part of why it doesn't use very many properly straight lines...And you might be able to see a the tiniest bat I have ever drawn in my life over the door! But that's about as far as I got with making the house look "haunted." I had thoughts of pushing it further, but I held back because I knew I wanted to get kind of rainbow-y with the color scheme and didn't want the house to clash too much with that.

And as you can probably tell, I also just didn't have a ton of space to play with a lot of fine "spooky" details and have them actually be recognizable. The windows on the house were pushing the limits as it was. 😅

Speaking of windows, I'm not sure how well it comes across, but I did try to put some edging around the houses to create kind of a cathedral/stained glass window effect. Ironic as heck considering I mostly tried to avoid that kind of thing all month previously because I had two glass-specific words I wanted to let have that option on the table...And then I mostly didn't even use that effect for those specific days. 🙃

But! Go big or go home, I wanted to have fun and I like stained glass, so here we are!

I kind of tried to tie the "world" aspect back into it by filling some of the "glass" spaces with those cobblestone-ish spaces. Obviously it's not a "yellow brick road" as in a certain imaginary world because it's not all yellow, but calling it a "rainbow stone road" in similar fashion would be fair, I think. 😉 It's cute and goes super well with the stained glass impression...In fact that might be carrying the whole stained gladd impression by itself, but I'll let Sparklers decide that for yourselves.

Also, to my credit, I did try to bring in a little more "spook" by going with moths to help fill out the rest of the space rather than my first choice, butterflies. Butterflies don't really specifically have anything to do with imaginary worlds, I know, but they seem to have gotten filed in the same folder in my brain. At the very least you could draw the connection between butterflies (and moths), fairies, and magic, which would fit in nicely with an imaginary world.

However, my compromise was starting with the very butterfly-esque Luna moth, which is more colorful but they do have a very eye-like marking on their wings, which I attempt to use to my full advantage here (while still attempting to keep it at least a little abstract).

I was actually going to have all Luna moths all the way around, but when I copied & rotated the layer I discovered they were too long and go cut off on the other 4-points, which I did not like the look of.

So rather than have to figure out something else to draw in their place or re-draw new months from scratch, I erased the bottoms of the wings, altered the shape of what was left a bit, then changed the antennae and the "eyes" on the wings to be a bit different. Boom! New "normal" brown-ish moths. 🦋 And y'know, the brownish moths don't get enough love compared to their flashier counterparts anyway, so they deserve to be here and I'm happy to have them.

To polish things off, I felt it essential to have a rainbow border. More than anything else, I associate rainbows with the concept of imagination. I very nearly put some clouds in there too, but then I remembered how surprsingly annoying it's been to get cloud shapes I'm happy with in this format at various points earlier in the month. So no clouds, just more rainbow bits to fill the space where the clouds would've been.

Besides, this way it kind of looks like the moths are going to fly over the houses, bringing the rainbows with them, which is a pretty cute idea. 😊

And then I topped things off with some stars/sparkles because one of my earlier ideas was to get some trees in here and maybe evoke the idea of laying out under the stars at night, letting your imagination run wild. But as evidenced by my little trees stumps, I did not actually get very far in entertaining that particular idea. 😅

Setting the scene at night does go better with the hints of more Halloween-ish themes, though, so all is well.

The colors then are about as self-explanation as you can get. The only thing I didn't really touch on is that I tried to make the house black/purple with red roofing, but I kept the layers light because I didn't want the coloring in those spots to stick out too much. I think it's better if the house can kind of "blend in" as just a small final nudge to the idea that they're just a small part of a larger world, rather than their own central figure. If that makes any sense.

In the end, I do think this turned out as one my better more doodle-y attempts for the month. Just goes to show what a difference actually having time to think about what the heck I was doing can make. [I say knowing my past self cannot hear/see this yet because that's how the past works.]

And I do think this is among my favorites for the month, but I'm still not quite ready to say it's my favorite-favorite. It is missing some more "traditional" mandala touches that make it harder to compare with those that strike the doodle vs. traditional balance better. I tried to squeeze a couple things in there, but ultimately my other ideas literally and figuratively took up to much space to really leave room for that.

It looks good—great even!—though! So I'm thrilled to go out on a relatively high note, especially after the last few prompts both gave me trouble and were a bit of a whirlwind to make since I was so bad at giving myself enough time to make them in. 😅

...Well, it's a high note for now. We'll see how hard of a time I have with cross-posting and if that dampens my mood too much or not. 🫠

Still, that won't change the fact that I am DONE. I DID IT!! And now I can safely focus all of my attention on a certain other project I've been working on prepping for November in the background all the while.

The only reason I feel like Elisa and Jadde might not be dating is that Jadde reposts quite a bit of straight couple inspo stuff on TikTok. Unless she’s one of those girls who thinks dating a masc is like dating a guy…

Wow too many layers to unravel for this ask. I had my assumptions too so I don't want you to feel guilty for saying this.

I originally wrote like a whole essay discussing this, until I went on tiktok to see what you were talking about and 😦

I will still keep some of my points here because I do think they're still valid.

Anything marked with RED was written before looking at her tiktok reposts. GREEN is after.

Topic one: Social media

1) I think many people forget how difficult it is to come out into the internet, especially when your audience is crazy thirsty men. It also seems like she probably won't stop attracting them because of her content (im not saying that she is attracting men on purpose, I'm saying that her content is usually catered to that certain area of the internet).

If you noticed on her comments, they're always men complimenting her, trying to get her attention, etc. Maybe some of these men are actual gentlemen, but let's not forget that they're still men. What do you think would happen when a 5'2 pretty woman with a 'hot body' came out and spoke about having a girlfriend? Do you know how people will flip out? I'm not fully aware on how the queer community is viewed in France... but homophobia is everywhere and men would go crazy when they find out the hot woman they like is with a woman instead of 'them'.

2) Now after that video slip up she made that had Elisa, she probably would NOT post about gay content or anything with Elisa. Because some of the fangirls would take those videos and make assumptions (...me 🙈) and try to get involved into their relationship even more.

3) After I saw the reposts, i was speechless. I wrote the two points above before I went on tiktok to see, and now I'm just staring at Jadde like 😦😦. I will speak about them below, but after I saw the reposts I just KNOW she's straight... it doesn't matter if she's going through a gay crisis right now, those reposts are all about a specific type of men (see topic three, point 3).

Topic two: Sexuality

1) now one of the reasons that made me go 'oh? Maybe they're just friends' is when I found out all of her public partners were men. But people need to stop disrespecting bisexuals, maybe that's what she is. Just because she hadn't dated women before doesn't make her straight.

2) yeah... I still refuse to believe she's not straight after that I'm sorry.

Topic three: Tiktok reposts (faith and type)

1) I don't want to disrespect Christians, because I am Muslim and both of our religions are quite similar. There are also a lot of queer Christians that practice their faith religiously while still being gay, they do exist. (Elisa used to wear a cross bracelet all the time, I'm not sure if she left Christianity, but she wears a van cleef bracelet now). However, the Christian posts from Jadde's reposts may have been a slight indication for me that she could be straight, but that doesn't mean she is 100%. Also genuine question... this is very off topic but I want to ask any Christian who sees this a question. As a Muslim, we have 'practice what you preach'. An example is: if a non hijabi comes and says 'women should wear the hijab and cover up and theyre dressing like whores blah blah'... that's a hypocrite. Although it's not haram (forbidden) to advice someone even if you commit the sin because sometimes it's hard to stop something, it's not liked. And if you see comments of non-hijabi's mocking hijabis for not wearing it properly, you'd see the responses to them are very harsh. Because tf are you coming here talking about how this hijabi woman is 'not wearing it properly' but your tits are out??? But that's Islam. And the reason why I brought this up is because I saw this on her reposts:

2) okay... now the reason why I don't think she is queer whatsoever is because of this specific repost that made me go??? Oh!

Basically this man is saying that if his kid ends up being 'non-binary', he will 'get milk'. Which means that he will disown his kid and leave them alone. I think what confuses me is if Jadde is actually dating Elisa, she wouldn't repost that because she's GAY?? I know that being non-binary isn't connected to being a lesbian or bi, but it's from the same community and it still makes no sense why a wlw woman would repost that. Idk, it gave me the ick.

3) Uhm... now about the romantic reposts you were talking about. I REFUSE to accept she's actually into women. If you're too lazy to look at her reposts, they are all about the same thing; hyper-masculine men that provide, aggressive, alpha male, extra rich and would provide her everything.

It seems as though she is the type of person who is old-fashioned when it comes to relationships. And I don't want to shame women who are like that, but that's not how it works when you're dating a woman.

Dating a woman is nothing like dating a man, even if they're dressed masculine. I've already made a whole post about this, Jadde can not be dating a woman. Not with these standards. Even though we don't know much about how Elisa is as a girlfriend, we know that she is still a girl at the end of the day. If you guys know Torinha (a masc brazilian tiktoker), she made a joke saying that mascs are 'trucks'... but not a black jeep, just a barbie truck. And I think that's a cute way to describe it 🥺.

Especially because she reposts about male relationships all the time while being in a relationship with a girl (also elisa said she was not single on January 31, and these reposts are recent so she is 'dating' elisa while reposting this). All these reposts about men being rich, men doing this, men taking a girl on a date, men this, men that. MEN MEN MEN MEN. I don't care if you're bisexual, if you're in a relationship with a girl you need to RESPECT it.

Topic four: The champions league match

1) okay last topic fr, this is one of the many reasons why I don't think she's dating Elisa; and it's the way she went on live after the lyon match. Basically after psg lost against lyon, Jadde went on live a few hours after that and was dancing and listening to music. Now I don't want to call her a shitty gf, but i feel like if your gf just lost a semifinal to her biggest rivals (and also getting dragged on the internet for her performance) you would try to be there for her. But she was chatting with the guys on her live and singing.

2) Fleur WAS there at the match. She was there supporting Elisa, and even though Fleur doesn't watch every match of Elisa, she still comes to many of them. I do remember the story Elisa made with fleur at the nation's league final with a caption 'family ❤️'. Also, Elisa and fleur still make weird ass comments about sharing clothes on captions and I feel like if Elisa was dating someone else, she'd have to respect and have boundaries with her best friend yk.

okay so u know the gas station boy that i keep talking about well today i went in and got some food and stuff and i ACTUALLY!!! CHECKED OUT WITH HIM!!! FINALLY it’s been literally forever, but anyway. i get up there and for some reason he looks over the food (which i was already a little self conscious about him seeing because it’s Gas Station Food and i got two things but i was Fuckin Hungry i hadn’t eaten all day so whatever) and like, he doesn’t need to look over it. he could have just said nothing and moved on with his life but NO. he goes “you know, these have actually been out for a while...” and i was like “oh i guess i should get a different one” because i was thinking aw he’s looking out for me wanting me to get Fresh Food how kind but then without even letting me finish he just “since they’re a little old we won’t charge you for em” and i was like ..........excuse me and he doesn’t even ring me up so then i go “oh but i’m also getting a drink” thinking like AT LEAST let me pay for the drink my dude, you not actually gonna give me my whole ass meal for free, right? WELL THEN HE WINKS AT ME AND SHAKES HIS HEAD LIKE “nah it’s on me” BASICALLY AND I WAS JUST LIKE 😦 what. this dude really just gave me my whole ass meal for free.

so i’d like to say that i can confirm there’s something going on like. he can’t just give me free drinks, compliment my hair, and then GIVE ME MY WHOLE ASS MEAL. FOR FREE. without thinking i’m cute right?
