I'll take this opportunity to say I'm at a wedding that I'm standing up in tomorrow. I won't be home until Saturday afternoon. This wedding has been giving me a lot of anxiety so I'll be really happy when it's over tomorrow night. I'm staying at my besties house for two nights (she's in the wedding too) so it's nice to spend time with her at least. She is so over this wedding too it's hilarious.

Hey guys welcome to my massive rant about q!Fit and how cc!Fit is incredibly talented and underrated. Since y'all kinda blew up my twitter post LOL.

There are SO many things I could touch on so it's probably gonna be scattered around a lot.

1) Fit had a great character set up from the beginning. From the very start many people knew Fits reputation as a 2b2t veteran, a place with a toxic environment and brutal people. He was no exception, he was closed off to relationships and was very cautious/closed off to many things. Not only that but his past made people distrust him in the beginning. I loved the suspense it brought with his character and the question of why he WAS actually here. Since the whole "vacation" thing was never very convincing. My favourite part was a lot of this was IMPLIED! He built on the character he portrayed in his YT videos and it worked so well, adding small comments about his character here and there (like when he said q!Fits hearing was bad BC of all the explosions he's experienced).

2) His RP skills were another level, not only was he in character almost the WHOLE time when he was live (even donos) when he first did lore he would tease elements of it by writing cryptic messages when others were live. SUCH a good idea when you have a smaller audience and want to create suspense. Not only that, he would have set dates and times for BIG lore stuff, this honestly made it so much easier to keep track of and engage in, not only alone but with friends too! His actual lore was very different from many others, it was cinematic and well planned, yet it still left room for sudden changes. The final result was a cohesive story line that the audience could interpret. I just loved how I could understand what was happening but also have questions/cliffhangers!

3) the fucking MUSIC. Throughout his lore and start of his streams I adored his choice of music, "Stranger in Paradise" being a personal favourite that was not only reoccurring in more than one language but fit SO WELL. I also think it was very clever how a lot of his music choices for his character didn't make sense until you understand the full story e.g. "Can't say goodbye to yesterday". All of this really added a new perspective on his character, almost through cc!Fits own eyes. Along with his music choice just being absolute bops OFC.

4) THE SYMBOLISM. My absolute favourite lore moment of his was at the end of the "Attachments" lore stream. Where the sun is setting over the mountain, slowly covering a patch of roses in darkness. ALL WHILE an instrumental Italian version of "Stanger in paradise" played. Roses of course being a symbol of not only his and Pac's relationship but love in general. His love for Ramon and his friends. The love he had to grow, just like a rose. While the darkness symbolizes his past catching up to him, more specifically his deadline. His time with his family and friends ending, his loves disappearing. Chefs kiss because it makes me cry everytime fr.

5) q!Fit's sexuality (gay). There is something so poetic about a gay guy from an extremely homophobic wasteland learning to come to terms with his own sexuality and love in general. Him slowly building a loving relationship with Ramon, Growing feelings for Pac, Nervously coming out to his son and then finally indulging in the first relationship and FAMILY he had ever had. Finally learning to love and to be loved in return. Even if he is scared about his mission, or taking things too fast. Just learning to live a normal life.

6) Fitmc is criminally underrated and overlooked. I still remember when Fit got his first proper piece of fanart in the museum. It was like... JULY? or something. And I think that says enough. People had no idea he was even doing lore at some points. Averaging at about 1-2k viewers in the beginning, until hideduo came into the mix. A lot but still compared to others very low. I think because his viewers consisted of his YT audience it didn't translate well. But I'm so glad he was able to build a loving community on twitch <3

Anyways it's 3am for me, I probably have more to talk about but this is basically what I meant when I posted that tweet. Feel free to reblog and add your own favourite observations or moments. I wanna hear them! ❤️

Loudclan was originally planned to be drawn as I played the game like most other clangen blogs... Then I got frustrated about how slow it was moving and played ahead. Just a little bit, nothing to worry about, only about 1000 moons. So this blog should be running for A WHILE. I also take pretty big liberties with the designs and events. I think it's more interesting that way! Also it's been several real life months since I started playing and some things I just... forgot. Or lost. Either way, it's fun to stretch my creative skills.

The style is going to vary wildly. It's been years since I've consistently drawn cats and I wasn't ever really happy with the way I did it back then anyway. Come along for the ride with me! I'm just as surprised by what my hands create as you guys!

Overview:

Loudclan is set in a fictional location that is based on South Central Alaska. A group of rogues fled up the mountains to get away from the deep snows of the valleys at the beginning of a particularly harsh winter. The clan follows three "Leaders" in the form of the Leader, the Lead Healer, and the Lead Mediator. These leaders will each pass their position on to their oldest heir, the closest related member of their direct family. Issues regarding what happens when two cats have similar claims have yet to be sorted out by the clan, and may never be fully decided... *insert mysterious foreshadowing sounds*

Announcement regarding my Hermitcraft AU

hello fellas! I am happy to announce the start of the fic writing for my Hermitcraft AU, which is currently dubbed the merger au, but the name is subject to change

[The fic would follow the pov of Scar but may alternate sometimes. It is set in season 10 and Scar is still suffering the effects of Secret Life.]

 Since Scar never died in Secret Life, he was pulled out of the loop manually by the secret keeper and was almost coaxed into becoming one, but he escaped in time before any major damage was done. 

Except the secret keeper follows him.

When Scar fled the watchers' realm, he accidentally led the secret keeper to the Hermitcraft S10 world, giving them access to it and every other Hermitcraft world before it. In an attempt to communicate with Scar and bring him back to the watchers,the secret keeper uses this new “tool” to mess with reality and merge the different worlds. Some days, a random building from season 8 might show up in a crater, other days Larry may return because “the snails built him on the cart” (lie), and sometimes this even affects the hermits themselves, causing sudden wardrobe, personality, and motive changes.

 Like how Joel randomly grew a Tanooki tail when joining the server. 

Many people blamed the servers' already weird aspects in terms of species, but others suspected it was caused by the transition to becoming a “hermit.” Joel himself claimed it was caused by too much time around Etho and that it was because “Etho is so obsessed he used his mind to give me a tail so that we had something in common.” No one believed him.

And we can’t forget Etho somehow getting a glass monopoly, which was also pointed out by some when the permits were handed out, and is also not possible since every hermit only got 6 shopping permits. The keeper seemed to favor Etho in this way.

Maybe it was Magic Mountain’s looming presence and mystic powers, but Scar felt that many things were off this season. From the weird references to past seasons, Etho’s odd luck, Joel’s mutations or…..

…..was it the feeling of not being alone?

One, by one, the remaining crumbs from the ancients were baked into new cookies, and placed with families to care for them. After nearly two-decades passed, the heroes came of age and each decided to take up the mantle of being earthbread’s hero. Now, with Light Enchantress hunting them, it’s up to the new Souljam heroes to stop earthbread’s evil, and reclaim their souljams.

Light Enchantress Cookie:

After her fight with Shadow Milk Cookie, White Lily found herself in the grasps of Dark enchantress cookie. As she tried fruitlessly to escape, it eventually ended with dark enchantress reclaiming the half of her soulstone. However, no one would have anticipated the results, causing the legendary Light Enchantress cookie, legendary of the land of plants.

She’s a magic class cookie, and former holder of the Souljam of Freedom. She can often be seen ordering around her right-hand cookies, Laurel cookie and Lily of the Valley cookie ever since most of the cookies of darkness abandoned her cause.

Buttercream Cookie:

Baked with the crumbs of the famous Pure Vanilla Cookie, Buttercream Cookie is a Defense class cookie, and supposed hero of trust. This cookie is gifted in his defensive prowess, and is considered the upcoming prodigy of the Creme republic, and the heir to the house of cream (not related to House Scone).

Jam Choco Cookie

Hailing from the frigid Dark Cacao mountains, Jam Choco cookie is a grape Jam & Chocolate-Peanut butter flavored cookie. Jam Choco cookie is an ambush cookie, carrying a pair of solid cacao daggers with him at all times.

As the hero of determination, This cookie is often considered the most disconnected, and untrusting member of the team, however, he does care deeply for his friends.

Wildberry Punch Cookie

Wildberry punch cookie is the Support member of the team, often seen with a special pair of gauntlets made for her by the best craftsman in the Hollyberry kingdom. Being the hero of devotion, this cookie is devoted to protecting those she cares about, and to stand up for what she truly believes is right, although some cookies say that she could lighten up a bit.

Pepperjack Cheese Cookie

Pepperjack cheese cookie is the hero of giving, and a bomber class cookie. Coming from the Pepper villages in the land of spice, this cookie can be quite hot-headed, although she often finds herself as the voice of reason within the group. Even though she had to leave her village, and her twin brother in order to reclaim her souljam, she plans to one day return to her village afterwards.

Supporting Cast:

Lily of the Valley/Laurel Cookie

Being the right hand cookies just under high priestess pomegranate cookie, these two aren’t very good at their jobs. While they are strong, and gifted with magic, it is not hard to lose them in the middle of a heated battle. Although, for some reason, they have yet to be banished by Light Enchantress cookie.

Dark Choco Cookie

Shortly after he ascended the throne, dark Choco found himself between a rock and a hard place. With no commanding staff, no advising team, and no heir he quickly made changes to the kingdom for the better. After convincing licorice cookie to return to the kingdom, he made him his advisor, and put him in charge of keeping the licorice sea tame so the kingdom could finally make exports from their sea and have more income. Since the two commanders had parishes in beast-yeast, Second water, now First watcher, leads the watchers through the kingdom, while Burnt caramel cookie became the commander of the mountain wolves unit.

Custard Cookie III

After being left with no one to take care of the young king since white lily went missing, and pure vanilla perished in beast-yeast, he found himself adopted by Dark Choco cookie. While he grew up happy, he eventually returned to his kingdom and reclaimed the throne, now welcoming anyone in need to his kingdom.

Pitaya Dragon Cookie

Shortly after returning to the kingdom with only Hollyberry Cookie’s shield, pitaya dragon cookie took snapdragon cookie and went back to dragon valley. For years, they weren’t seen…until the day princess cookie ascended the throne, with her wife by her side.

Never one to turn down an invite, the dragon went…now, they work alongside the Hollyberry kingdom queen’s for a better future.

Smoked Pepperjack Cookie

Being crafted from the mixed crumbs of smoked cheese cookie, and golden cheese cookie…as well as some of the spice that filled the land, it resulted in a pair of twins. Coming from the cheese desserts, this cookie is the twin brother so Pepperjack cheese cookie.

Ever since his sister left the village, he now protects it alone, hoping that she comes back In once piece.

And then it eventually leads to Lilia getting to witness Ortho trying to get Idia's attention any way he can. (either by listening through headphones or he's actually in the same room)

Your art gives me so many ideas and I love it.

Very cheeky of Lilia to do it, but also of course he would be into seeing just how possessive Ortho can get with Idia. Ortho isn’t even supposed to eavesdrop on them or watch them play together, but Lilia would somehow always be aware of that from the moment he learns who he is playing with lol

I feel like Lilia likes making people jealous in general. Watching someone get angry and try to win someone over or get their attention is always super amusing, but with the Shrouds? With the added layer of Ortho being a needy younger brother that doesn’t want to share Idia with him? Amazing.

But to answer your question, yes absolutely we think about it, even though with some of the boys’ sizes it seems physically impossible… but nothing is impossible if you try hard enough!

Seriously though, Idia would be so shocked when he realises that both of them are currently inside: 50% panicked and 50% aroused.

I would love to put all of our bottoms through this fate, but the ones that are more likely to be able to handle it are Silver (wouldn’t hear a peep of complaining from him, just eagerness to please), Jamil (just as shocked and aroused as Idia) and Deuce (too horny and barely understanding what’s going on). Riddle would be so hot though with how tiny he is…

I always think about the tweels when we discuss this particular topic, but Lilia and Ortho are a surprisingly good team~ At times they might be even a better team than the Tweels because Floyd turns it into a competition sometimes.

Good question, Anon! In theory, it could be something for Floyd to tell Trey (because Riddle likes it A LOT…), but I also feel like Floyd is surprisingly possessive when it comes to Riddle. Something has to click in a certain way in his brain to go that route; somehow sharing this information with Sea Turtle feels like a waste… if he didn’t figure out by now that this is how Goldfishie wants to be treated, well too bad!

The tweels would talk to each other though, and even though it isn’t necessarily giving each other advice, they would discuss sex in details sometimes, sharing experiences, so to speak.

I feel like those who are the most likely to give advice in this way are Lilia and Rook. But for some reason I always picture it as something unsolicited with these two lol

I think Lilia gives lots of advice to Sebek about both Silver and Malleus, and Sebek is always super flustered and surprised at first, but he still ends up applying everything… he had no idea his liege would enjoy having his horns bitten…

But Sebek isn’t the only one that gets to listen to Lilia’s advice. He hinted at some of Idia’s weak spots to Azul a couple of times, both to help out and to tease him. Azul always gets super jealous but tries to hide it behind smiling and thanking Lilia for looking out for his and Idia-san’s relationship.

Basically, no one is safe from Lilia’s sex advice. He is here to help out! And to watch everyone blush and panic lol

Rook sometimes gives advice about someone he doesn’t even sleep with, but he still has this information somehow. It actually caused some pretty bad misunderstandings in the past. He really should stop sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong.

Everyone has their own preference, and I agree that fluff has a right to exist, and even we post some pretty fluffy stuff sometimes despite not liking it at all. But you are also right, there is such a lack of darker content, considering how dark the game is and how bad the boys are. Especially the tweels! Katsu and I love darker themes, and a lot of times we make the characters worse than they actually are and come up with some messed-up headcanons, and we do it for twst too, but I feel like the majority of things that we write and draw for twist are like… already in twst. It’s either hinted at or implied, or even straight-up said; and this is why we love it so much. They really are bad people, they really are villains, and some of them are legit monsters.

As for the teens having sex, yeah everyone has their own pace and no one should be rushed to do anything, but it’s silly to argue with the fact that teens do in fact experiment sexually, and it’s a natural thing to do. The absolute majority of us has been there in one way or another. And I find it funny when people forget about it, you know? That sometimes (a lot of times, more often than people think) fictional teens fucking is a reflection of one’s own experiences, thoughts, desires, fears and feelings from back then, combined with their favourite characters’ dynamic with each other, put in a hypothetical situation that has nothing to do with them or with real life whatsoever, and still has this vague and often subconscious emotional link. This isn’t always the case, but yeah that’s the whole point: it doesn’t matter. It’s fiction, therefore any idea can be explored.

Especially if we’re talking about an all-boys school filled with a bunch of angry horny delinquents that is NRC lol

Hey ryuichi, have you ever noticed the difference between the EN Twst fandom and the JP Twst fandom? The EN Twst fandom is mostly  80% made out of Antis, unfortunately, so out of curiosity, i decided to see what the JP Twst fandom is up too (Mainly one Twitter, privatter and poipiku) and it's so peaceful over there?! Everyone is so supportive and friendly. No one is calling out anything "problematic" in my experience, which makes me think most of them know the difference between reality and fiction.

That being said, I feel so bad for them and the way they were treated. So many talented people have been harassed and bullied out of the fandoms. It’s disgusting to see. (Like in general, not necessarily Twst related). I'm against all morality policing. It's so frustrating to see a lot of Japanese artists on Twitter being harassed for the way they depict characters (skin colour, bust size, body shape). I've also seen a lot of antis trying to justify racism against asians because "Japan's a nation of pedos anyway." Because nothing beats imagined racism like actual hardcore racism.

The best part? Japanese fandom is learning about the anti/proshipping discourse! Basically, they've started to call antis "American Yakuza feelings," which is so fitting if you ask me, lol. And I notice that anti's are removing "proship dni" rapidly because the Japanese fandoms blocking them. Imagine giving up your "highly moral value" for some Japanese fanart. I mean, in the end, they got what they wanted "Proship DNI" and didn't expect the Japanese fandoms to have more common sense and media literacy than any other EN fandom out there.

Yeah, the difference between JP and EN fandoms has always been surprising. You might have seen the post with the list of our fandoms throughout the years, and I was thinking whether I should note that by “fandoms” we just mean “titles we are into” and not being a part of any actual group of people… I didn’t end up writing it, but the point is, we were barely a part of any actual fandom all these years exactly because of this social climate. Just posting things from time to time without participating anywhere and talking to someone else felt much more comfortable. Twst (+ shingeki a couple of years ago) is the closest thing we’ve ever had to being a part of a fandom, and it’s solely because there are so many chill people there who are willing to have fun and indulge in weird ideas. People who are here for the characters and their interactions, you know?

I am sure that JP fandom has its own issues, and I would actually really love to learn more about it, but one thing we can all say for certain is that they really respect boundaries. The “live and let live” culture is very important in fandoms, and I wish EN fandoms would have it too. The only thing one really needs is to warn about posting possibly upsetting things and have disclaimers for those who don’t want to see this type of content, and after that the artist isn’t really responsible if someone clicked on it/scrolled the page despite the warnings and got upset. I like it a lot. I am super grateful and happy to be able to communicate with JP artists even if it’s just through mutual likes and occasional comments, and I am super grateful and happy that the EN people we have around us are supportive and don’t tolerate any bullshit.

It really is heartbreaking when an artist is being harassed. No one should be harassed, but when someone who doesn’t talk English is getting ambushed or shittalked by the antis that just have nothing better to do, it’s super shitty.

Actually, I won’t mince my words on this particular topic: people should stop harassing creators and treating them as jesters to throw tomatoes at. It’s pathetic when people shit on an artist for shipping Vil and Neige, it’s disgusting when people mistranslate manga and spread rumors that cause creators to feel helpless because they can’t address this shit, it’s sickening when people shit on Yana for taking a break and drawing shorter chapters. This isn’t exactly the theme of the post, but as I was thinking about it, I got angry again lol Such ungrateful fucks.

It's not just something that is generated (and yes I am using this word on purpose) out of nothing. Creativity is fueled by a give and take between fans and Ryu and Katsu's enjoyment of a fandom. If you want more of something, try reaching out with a comment or start a discussion on something you liked about the character. They are both people and not machines pushing out stuff for you to consume. Especially since they are sharing their hard work for free.(discounting Ko-Fi, but tip your artist anyway. They all deserve it for their work.)

Sebek baby!!! He looks so blissed out I bet he came in his pants a little (please just a little as a treat💦). Mal Mal so mean to him. I love the poses and how you can only see Malleus's arm and how Sebek is leaning into the touch for more. The expression of pure want. OMG, what if Malleus kissed him as a consolation for not sitting in his lap and now Sebek can't move cause he's got a raging boner. It does bother us when people ask for more content or for some specific content, but I always try to assume that it’s just the phrasing issue… which doesn’t necessarily make things better considering that we post like 5 things per day if we’re counting all of our accounts lol We also always try not to post the same characters all the time, Katsu especially makes effort to ensure that our posting is still fun and fresh for both people following us and us too. My replies usually sound nicer than they probably should because sometimes in this way I can address other people in case they’ve been wondering about the same thing or at least to explain things to them. That + a firm belief that people really don’t mean to sound rude, although from time to time both Katsu and I snap in our replies lol poor anons...

So I really appreciate you supporting us! You are absolutely right: enjoyment is the main thing that keeps us posting, not any obligation. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: we would have stopped posting twst after like 1 week of posting if we didn’t get support; we never anticipated that it would become such a huge thing for us. They love Tara being a big blanket, especially in winter, and they know in advance that they won't be getting up so they plan ahead with snacks. Tara usually falls asleep quick into the movie and they love feeling her breathing and giving her rubs and scratches throughout the night

Once Tara gets used to her powers, Sam is open to having fun in that way and loves bragging about her cool werewolf sister and showing off all the cool stuff she can do now. And she loves getting all over them and giving them love, especially licking them

Wednesday is so proud of her cousin and wants to let her know it and always likes Tara's equally unhinged comments about wanting Tara to maul her to death or use her claws to scratch up Amber's back. I like that idea too as I think they'd want to help the next generation of outcasts

They both absolutely love riding on Tara even if she worries a lot at first about them falling off and getting hurt. She nearly stops doing it after Sam falls off as Tara couldn't bear hurting her sister, even accidentally, and only does again at Sam's prompting. Once they both get the hang of it, it's incredibly fun

Tara loves all the experiences her new senses give her. She loves being out in nature as she can see and hear and smell so much more and her sense of touch means she loves physical affection even more than before. And she gives off a pleasant smell too which Sam and Amber enjoy having around

Tara knows how lucky she is and never hesitates to appreciate Amber for accepting her and thank her for everything and Amber always just says she doesn't have to thank her for anything. Amber is there because she wants to be and feels just as lucky to be with Tara

This sounds so cosy, I'm gonna die. Full moons are so nice in their household. Having Tara sleeping on them like that is just so soothing and warm. Occasionally, she kicks out a paw or makes a noise or her tail flicks as she's dreaming. They both think it's the cutest thing ever.

Sam loves supporting and bragging about her sister. I think that there is a good chance that most her social media posts after that point are just about Tara, and people probably follow her for content of Tara being an adorable menace. I imagine Sam enjoys in particular that Tara can now take them places they would otherwise never reach, like the rooftops of New York or mountain tops when they're hiking. They get some great views from that high up, and I imagine Sam enjoys that. It's peaceful.

I kind of like the idea that sometimes Wednesday commends Tara's killing technique as very refined, and Tara is a little stumped. "I just mauled this guy without a single thought. I didn't remove his organs neatly on purpose." Wednesday understands Amber's enthusiasm completely. They have the same kinds of feelings about their respective girlfriends, just in different typesets. And I'm glad you agree on my Nevermore idea!! I think they'd be great at helping the next generation after them on their way. Also, the idea of middle-aged Wenclair is growing on me after looking at some fanart of them again lately. I haven't thought about them in the same amount of detail as tamber in a while, but they're coming back to me.

Oh yeah, Tara is so worried about them getting hurt at first when she carries them. Especially the first couple times, she just gets so anxious when one of them falls off, Sam more than Amber lol. I'm making Sam suffer a bit more here. And both probably have a fall or two where they actually hurt a bit :| But they all get the hang of it and really enjoy it when that initial worry passes. It's a great feeling to be doing that for all of them. They also need to watch for low-hanging branches, I imagine.

Yes! She loves all of her senses more when she can use them in a way that's actually pleasant. She probably hates crowds and places likes malls with lots of different and very incompatible smells now. But she loves, loves being in nature and picking apart all the different things she smells and hears. When she can do it calmly, it's so soothing to her, and she learns a lot about the forest and how the ecosystem works live and in colour. Hearing all the different birds sing from miles away, a mole somewhere burrowing in the ground, a little beetle trotting about its way, the smell of resin and wet leaves. She loves it all. She wishes she could share with the others how it feels.

And of course she loves touch even more, and it shows, especially with Amber. She's clinging to Amber even more now than before, pretty much 24/7 when she can get away with it. Tara loves having her hands on Amber, just the feeling of her skin and the fabric of her clothes are enough to captivate her. At some times, she probably gets lost in the physical sensation a bit and doesn't notice how much Amber is getting turned on by her roaming hands when she's been doing that for the past hour or two, until Amber points it out to her.

And Sam and Amber both like how she smells, because she smells nice when she's a wolf. And Tara, in turn, likes when they smell like her after cuddling. I imagine she still smells a lot like before. But a bit off and a bit more intense. Amber definitely spends a lot of time with her face pressed deeply into Tara's fur when she is in her wolf form, and Tara is so happy with that. She loves staying put like a happy little pillow or blanket.

This ended up so much longer than I anticipated ( ﾟAﾟ )

Okay okay okay I need to explain a lil thing real quick. Tang Sanzang (Tripitaka) did not torture Wukong, at least not intentionally. There was a really good post about it somewhere on here, but I cant seem to find it so I'll explain what I can.

First off, Tripitaka was the main character of the story, and while he had some flaws (ex: listening to Bajie too much), he was a good man, and would never want to torture any of his deciples, no matter how annoying they'd get. He's a Buddhist monk afterall, there's a whole no violence thing.

The golden circlet/crown was given to Tripitaka by Guanyin to act as a way to punish Wukong for things he does wrong. Think about it for a moment. Remember, Wukong was just released from under a mountain after terrorizing the entire celestial realm, becoming 7 times immortal (I think it was that many), fighting all the celestial armies, peeing on Buddah's hand. After being released, Wukong promptly killed a tiger and skinned it so he could use the skin as clothes.

SO YEAH, obviously Tripitaka would take her up on a crown that would give the monkey really bad headaches!!! (Reciting a specific scripture I forgot makes the crown shrink, but it doesn't kill Wukong because he's very super immortal).

Now the thing is, yes, he did use the spell on Wukong multiple times when Wukong had done nothing wrong, but a lot of those were because Bajie told him Wukong did something wrong, or he just didn't have all the facts. Now, I haven't read the Journey to the West either, and most of my knowledge comes from the Overly Sarcastic Productions videos summarizing the story (which you should watch, btw), so I dont have all the facts, nor do I have a perfect knowledge of the parts of the story I do know, however I am confident that Tripitaka did not intentionally tourture or abuse Wukong. I mean, Wukong cut off his own head once for fun, so idk what else to say, my guy.

Do I think that using the migrane spell is the most moral thing to do? No. Was the spell the only way to get Wukong to cooperate? At the very start, very possibly yes. Later? I'mnot sure. Is Tripitaka a bad guy for using it as much as he does? No, he didn't know better. Are the Wukong girlies wayyy to obsessed with angst? Yes, so very much. I fear for them.

It was not the point of the story for Tripitaka to be abusive. The story was meant to be symbolic. Each of the pilgrims symbolized a part of a person. Tripitaka was the heart, Wukong the mind, Zhu Bajie the body, Bai Longma the will, and Sha Wujing the emotions. (There are some lovely people on this hellsite who can explain the symbolism better than me, so you can go look into that if it interests you.)

All in all, every one of the pilgrims were pretty stupid (affectionate) in their own ways, and I hate seeing people hate on Tripitaka soecifically when the story is so ridiculous a lot of the time. I just love these silly little guys, and I think we need to remember that they are very silly. Tripitaka never meant to be cruel to Wukong just as in lmk Wukong and Macaque never meant to be cruel to each other in their past. All these idiots are pretty bad at communicating, and Tripitaka is incredibly socially awkward. Man doesn't know how friends work.

I just think we should cut him some slack for the mistakes he made. Yall forgave Wukong for all his chaos and bloodshed, so I think it'd just be fair to forgive Tripitaka for not really comprehending having hurt Wukong.

I do! Overwhelmingly TOG these past few years but I may still write more MCU here or there. My very favorite of my MCU fics is the one I'm afraid I may never write: Eartha Grit, in which Sam Wilson is a drag queen. How the hell to choose between my TOG babies I have no idea, so I'll pick one on impulse: every shutter click I wish was a kiss. We really knocked it out of the park with that one 🙏

I have no desire to face any of the stresses of professional fiction writing, and I don't think that's where my skills are at, but I would leap at the chance to contribute to the story outlining that would result in Daisy Johnson officially returning to the MCU. They should've put her in The Marvels! She would have such interesting relationships with Monica and Kamala especially!! I would die of joy and come right back screaming with delight if someone made fanart of my work. Two very different scenes pop immediately to mind. One: the moment in Wouf Wouf when Nile is enjoying a gentle wake-up cuddle with her wolfy bestie and its following moment where all of a sudden a very hot very naked human man is halfway pinning her to the bed. Two: Olympic gold medalist Nile and her hockey player doing something cute, like for example trying out a pairs skating lift. ok also Three: anything from every shutter click I wish was a kiss >:)

Meeka/Vincent

It has now been fully three days since Meeka has had a proper workout. This trip was supposed to include at least a little light mountain climbing! Snow is still piling up and at this rate she doubts she’ll get to do more than snowshoe a few meters to the airport taxi when it’s finally safe to leave the cabin.

Her circuit between her bedroom, the kitchen, and the far side of the living room with its cozy fireplace is laughably inadequate exercise. The lack of better options is starting to make her physically itch.

The summit organizers are doing their level best to continue with the planned events over video conference, but some of the delegates aren’t showing the same commitment to the summit’s success, and some of the unplanned moments of an in-person meeting that get people to see each other’s humanity across political difference are simply impossible to recreate online. Meeka is finding each session more frustrating than the last.

She was able to keep her one-on-ones with the principals from Haiti, Brazil, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, all of which went well, and she’s going to have an exciting follow-up call when she gets home with the leaders of Vietnam’s solar program. Both Egypt and Mexico had to cancel on her due to tension headaches from all the unexpected screen time. A video call from home in a week or two is just as good as a video call from nearby cabins they can’t leave on this frozen mountain, or perhaps better, without the frustration of cabin fever.

Last night’s video happy hour with some of her friends and their friends and a handful of new allies was decently amusing! Though a good portion of it was spent ragging on France, which brought one of the largest delegations to this trainwreck and yet had not a single representative at that afternoon’s Francophone countries roundtable discussion. Extraordinarily disrespectful.

Meeka declined invitations to social events tonight. Eye strain hasn’t gotten to her, thankfully, but her temper can only take so much frustration. She needs a break from screens. She needs to move.

When she logs off after the last of the day’s sessions and leaves her bedroom, she finds Vincent on the floor with Mila.

Jean Pierre says a quiet hi but his lip is trembling. As they move into the living room and Booker offers Nile a glass of water, JP bursts into tears. Booker scoops up JP to comfort him, murmurs all kinds of reassurances. Philippe goes and gets Nile a glass of water.

Nile asks him about his pottery and they talk about that for a little bit while Booker sees to JP. When things are starting to calm down, she tells Philippe that he was very brave and responsible tonight, reassures him that Dad’s home now and you can relax, it’s all going to be ok. Booker of course overhears this and melts over how great Nile is.

They’d had snacks at Astra’s party but ended up leaving before eating a real dinner, and the boys hadn’t eaten yet either when Joe started having trouble breathing, so now everybody’s hungry. Before either of the adults can really think through logistics or say the should-say things like “I can call you a car to the MARC station” or “I should probably leave y’all to it”, Philippe asks if Nile is going to stay for dinner.

“Yeah, Papa, can she?” JP adds. “We could watch a movie!”

The boys egg each other on about yeah! Let’s watch a movie! Booker sets the oven to preheat then asks if he can talk to Nile for a moment in the other room.

“I’m sorry to just invite myself over like this,” Nile says. “I should—”

“If you’d rather not stay I could—”

They both trail off and look at each other.

“What’s for dinner?” Nile asks.

Booker looks down, sheepish. “Pizza casserole.”

Geralt could blame him, tell him how he’d always known this would happen, how it was only a matter of time. He could justify his anger, his guilt, his fear. He could say how Jaskier needs to watch where he walks, but the fact is Geralt had walked that stretch of the track only moments ago and had not noticed the bear trap. Not noticed it until he’d heard the rusty mechanisms spring and then Jaskier’s blood-curdling scream.

Jaskier didn’t exactly plan to escape from his master alongside a terrifying witcher. But it might turn out to be one of his better decisions.

Fanfiction Writer Bingo

I started posting on ffnet when I was in middle school, and I had a lot of fun. Eventually I just sort of moved away from it - and writing fanfiction in general - and it was only once the pandemic started that I found AO3 and started writing fanfiction again.

My AO3 account is theScrap_Witch! 

Every fic I write is one I wanted to read, so in that sense they’re all self-indulgent?

I’ve written for a few different fandoms. I tend to focus on one at a time (Silmarillion, currently), but that doesn’t mean I won’t go back to old interests or try something new in the future.

I am obsessed with story structure and pacing for plot, so I love writing loose outlines. These tend to just be numbered lists with one or two sentences of the main thing I want to happen in that particular part of the story. I like seeing it all laid out like that, so that I know where I’m trying to go with the story (I write better with an ending in mind) and then I can jump back and forth between the different parts of the list as I write (which I find helpful when I’m stuck on one particular part; just work on a different section and then go back when my brain is in a better mood). The plan is very loose, and very open to change; I’ll often delete or add or move parts around as I write.

I get very nervous after I post a fic, so I try to post before I go to bed, that way I’m not constantly checking my phone to make sure someone likes it.

I have received several fanart pieces and I have them all saved in a little folder on my computer and I stare at them whenever I need cheering up. They make me so happy!

We will not talk about the mountain of WIPs in my GoogleDoc files. I complete one fic and three new ideas rise up to replace it. The struggle is REAL. 

Editing for errors is the WORST, because I know, I KNOW, I will always miss some. Always. No matter how many times I reread a fic before posting, there will be at least one little mistake lurking within it that I’ll discover three days later. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I need caffeine to LIVE, never mind write. My sister got me a mug with all the old-school Disney villains on it and I enjoy using it when I’m working on a particular scene that I know will drive readers nuts.

3. The Marali Festival

First up in the countdown of your favorite Sunny fics is The Marali Festival!! 🥳 This was born from a 14-day Valentines’ Day challenge I had stumbled upon years ago, and had just gotten around to actually writing it this year! I’ve been BLOWN AWAY by the reception of this fic considering it’s some of my smallest chapters, but I definitely have some favorite scenes from this fic. More on that later this week.
