A conversation I had with my sister:
Her :"So Odysseus is Hermes' great grandson?"
Me: "yea"
Her: "So Telemachus is Hermes' great great grandson?"
Me: "yeps"
Her: "So everyone in the Hermes cabin at CHB is related to Odysseus and Telemachus?"
Me: "Uh... yes"
Her: "So..."
Me: "Luke?"
Her: "Yea, Luke. Is it a coincidence that he was best friends / an older brother to a daughter of Athena?"
Me:
Her:
Me: "fuck"
Her: "Tumblr?"
Me: "Tumblr."

Cool Guy
Anon: Heya! If you're still doing them, could you make a tickle fic on Luke and Han but js Han getting Luke? I love the whole Luke being like Hans lil bro 😭 An idea being maybe Luke is embarrassing Han in front of Leia and Han gets him back, Leia maybe helping Han a bit? I like your fics a lot haha! It's alr if not ofc, js have a good day! :D <3
Summary: Han is cool, suave, and absolutely irresistible. Luke vehemently disagrees.
Han knows logically that he cannot not squish the galaxy’s last hope like a bug. That would be unwise. There is, however, zero question of if he deserves it.
Luke is almost better at being a little shit than he is at being a Jedi.
“Princess! Han leans against the wall. The Falcon’s internals hum behind it. Leia looks up at him blankly.
“Pest.” She takes a bite of a sandwich. “What do you want?”
Nothing. Not a thing. He just loves the irritated curve of her eyebrow, the sharpness of her gaze, the curl of her lips--
“I’d love it if you’d stop taking what’s not yours.” He nods towards the sandwich. Leia regards it, then makes deep eye contact on her next bite. Han chuckles in something like disbelief, but he knows her. Knows how she likes to provoke.
“Nice boys share their food.” She takes another bite.
“Well, I ain’t nice. Keep your thieving little hands to yourself.” Han considers wrapping up the sandwich, just to be petty, but he knows she hardly takes interest in his things unless she needs something. He could find something else to eat.
“Or else what?” She plays with the crust of the bread. Eye contact. God, he loves this game of theirs. She leaves him breathless too often for his liking, though. As he flounders for a comeback, he hears a high-pitched noise from the other side of the room.
Luke. Great.
“What are you wearing?” Luke laughs incredulously. Han looks down at himself. He’d put on a fur vest today instead of his usual cargo one. It was something he’d snatched off some mook that’d tried to set him up with a dishonest deal. It’s old and it smells a little funny, but he likes it. It’s his now.
“Wh—it’s a vest. It’s cold.” Han frowns.
“You look like Chewie shed on you.” Luke leans his hip against the doorway as he settles in to mock. There’s a Wookiee outcry of indignation from the cockpit that goes unanswered.
“It’s a fashion statement.” Han adjusts his posture, gives them a new angle. Luke snorts. Han scowls.
“What exactly are you stating?” Leia rests her chin in her hands. She’s got a crumb on her cheek. He does not think about brushing it away.
“You’re both terrible.” Han stomps off to change.
“Right back atcha!” Leia calls after him. Her laughter is sweet, even at his expense.
….
Run-ins with Empire patrols always put Han on a fine edge--he’s a well-oiled machine with Chewie at his back, but recent additions to the Falcon have proven…distracting. As he slams them into a hyperspace jump, the twins’ noise somehow drowns out the noise of the engine. Leia’s complaining that he took too many risks, Luke’s insisting he took too little, and Han’s half tempted to spin send the Falcon into a barrel roll just to hear a different sound.
Chewie won’t let him. The honorable bastard.
The moment they finish the jump, Han swivels out of his chair and goes…well, he’s not sure where he’s going, but he knows he needs to see and hear something besides Luke crunching angrily on crackers.
Leia follows on Han’s heels, Luke follows on hers, and Han considers just ejecting himself from the airlock and being done with it.
“If you want to die, be my guest, but don’t put us at risk for your ego.” Leia smacks his chest. Han can’t tell if he’s imagining the lingering touch of her fingers.
“No, you’d miss me too much.” He fires back, pulling out of her grasp. He takes long strides, taking a petty sort of joy in hearing significantly shorter legs scramble after him.
“Not a chance in hell,” Leia snarls, snatching the back of his vest. He whirls around.
“Yes, you would, because things are boring without me. You like having me around.” He leans into her space. She stands her ground.
“The fate of the galaxy is boring?” She conveniently ignores that last part. Han doesn’t miss it.
“It is without me. Face it, princess. You’re attached.” He puts his hands on his hips. Leia’s face turns an interesting color.
“Ha! See? Attached!” Han points triumphantly. Leia smacks his hand away.
“I didn’t say anything!”
“You didn’t need to. The truth’s all over your face.” He circles that pointer finger in her face. She smacks it hard enough to bruise this time.
“The truth that I can’t stand you, more like. You’re arrogant, reckless, irresponsible—“
“And exactly your type.” Han grins. “You like having me around. Meanwhile, I’m cool, casual, and unattached.” Han clicks his tongue. Leia attempts to burn a hole through his forehead with her gaze. He worries for a moment that she might.
“Really?” Luke crunches loudly. “I heard you telling Chewie that you like having us around. That you wouldn’t know what you’d do without us. Didn’t sound very cool and casual.”
“I was drunk.” Han’s face burns. Leia snorts. Han scowls.
“Drunk mind, sober thoughts.” Luke grins teasingly, waving a chip in his face. Han tries to snatch the bag, but Luke twirls effortlessly out of the way. Damn Jedi.
“Sounds like you’re attached, laser brain.” Leia circles her finger in his face, and Han wonders if turning himself in to the Empire might be better for his ego.
Han’s not sure when his game with Leia stopped being a game and started being this, but he’s not complaining. He’s made out in worse storage rooms than the ones on the Falcon. They’d started with fetching a rations restock, devolved into bickering, and, well…their arguments usually end in violence or the threat of it, so Leia trying to climb him like a tree is a much-welcomed departure from form.
Normally Han’s great at keeping his emotions in a cold, dark little box where he never has to deal with them, but Leia looked so pretty yelling at him that he just…had to kiss her. He knew at that moment he’d die if he didn’t. It’s not the first time they’ve kissed and he hopes it won’t be the last, but each touch with Leia is like drifting closer to the beautiful terror of the sun. The best part, the overwhelming part, is that she wants him too.
All of that would’ve been well and good, great even, if Luke hadn’t been standing in the doorway.
Luke and Leia have some kind of stare-off that Han suspects involves their twinness--there’s lots of flustered, offended noises without words being uttered. Luke raises his eyebrow in a way that really seems to get to Leia, because she splutters, which she expressly does not do.
“Don’t you start! I tolerate him!” She glares at Luke, her cheeks turning red.
“Aww.” Han smirks. She elbows him in the ribs.
“With your mouth?” Luke’s near hysterical.
“Among other things.” Han smirks wider. Luke’s face twists in sheer disgust.
“Shut up,” Leia hisses, blushing and hitting him harder. He grins.
Luke levels a finger at Han, a habit he picked up from him in the first place, and then stalks off.
“Chances he knifes me in my sleep?”
“Lower than me doing it myself.” Leia swats his arm once more for good measure, but she’s still glowing, and Han thinks he might want to see that smile of hers for the rest of his life.
“I’ll take those odds.”
The difference between Luke and his sister, in Han’s opinion, is that Luke’s noise goes inwards. Leia will scream at Han until she’s red in the face and then she’ll miraculously find more air. Luke gets quiet and vengeful, which is why Han starts to suspect foul play the third time he trips over thin air.
Han really wants to fight back, but every time he opens his mouth, Leia’s lurking around some dark corner.
On hour three of Luke’s temper tantrum, Han’s eye begins to twitch. He’s probably bruised every inch of his shins by now, he’s tired, and he thinks if he can close his eyes for an hour he might remember how to function. Just a sweet, Skywalkerless hour.
Han drags his hand over his face as he walks off to his cabin. He finds Luke standing in the hall like an omen. He doesn’t move when Han approaches. The little furrow in his brow is probably meant to be intimidating, and maybe one day it will be, but Han can’t bring himself to care.
The desire to lay down overcomes his rational thought, and he does to Luke what he often does to Leia: jams his hands under Luke’s arms and lifts him out of the way.
Except, unlike Leia, Luke doesn’t try to kick him. He lets out a giggle at a pitch Han didn’t know he was capable of.
Han pauses, raising an eyebrow at the rapidly-reddening Jedi in his arms. He twitches his fingers. Luke chokes out a surprised laugh.
Han’s suddenly not tired anymore. Funny, that.
“Han, don’t you dare, c’mon--”
Han sets Luke down but doesn’t release him--he viciously wiggles his fingers where they’re trapped under Luke’s arms. He goes down like a sack of droid components, filling the Falcon with bright, bouncy laughter it so desperately needs.
“You get a minute for every bruise, and my shins are looking mighty purple.” Han whistles lowly, pressing into the gaps between Luke’s ribs. Luke lets out a giggly hiccup and kicks his legs.
“That’s not f-fair!” Luke clutches Han’s arms desperately. Han twitches his fingers and he curls up, shaking his head. Han distantly wonders when Luke last laughed like this. If he ever has.
“Yeah? Tell me about it. Pick on someone your own size and maybe life will be fairer.” Han tries to keep his stare blank, but his mouth quirks up at the corners. Luke lets out an indignant gasp, but he quickly tumbles right back down into laughter.
“Let go,” Luke growls, his whole face scrunching around his smile.
“Kid, I can’t let you go if you’ve got my hands.” Han gives a dramatic tug. He stops, raising his eyebrow expectantly. Luke pouts--pouts!--at him and lifts his arms at glacial pace. Han pulls away…
…and goes right for Luke’s exposed stomach. His shout of betrayal mixes beautifully with his laughter.
“Rookie mistake,” Leia tuts, snickering at Luke’s misfortune. Han jumps at her appearance--man, he should put a bell on these two--and Luke takes that as a signal to start wriggling away. Han reels him back in with a hearty laugh.
“Leia, fetch your--” Han cuts Luke off with a squeeze to the side before he can say anything embarrassing.
“You gonna help, Your Worship? Or are you above getting your hands dirty?” Han casts a glance at Leia.
“Never.” Leia smirks, kneeling beside Luke. They stare at each other for a long, tense while. Leia’s gaze drifts over him the same way she sifts through a plan for holes, until she stops at his knees.
Luke’s eyes widen. Leia grins.
She latches on like a viper and Luke squeals, drumming his feet on the ground. He throws his head back and cackles himself into silence, flopping around uselessly.
“Remind me to stay on your good side,” Han chuckles, a little nervous.
“You’re notoriously bad at it,” she smirks. Han swears he feels the ghost of her fingers on his own legs. He shudders.
Luke’s surrender is less of a cry and more of a wheeze, but they let him go quickly all the same. He tosses his arm over his glowing face with a great, heaving sigh.
“You alright over there?” Han chuckles, nudging Luke’s boot. He lifts his arm to glare.
“I hate you.”
“I know.” Han pats his ankle. Luke kicks him. Han squeezes his knee and he immediately blurts out a tired, giggly apology.
“Stop being a little shit and trying to trip me up. It’s not gonna work. Too cool for that.” Han pats Luke’s stomach.
Warm hands wrap around his waist and he leans back, scaring himself with how easily he fits into Leia’s arms. She hooks her chin over his shoulder.
“Are you ready?” She murmurs, brushing her fingers over the fabric of his shirt.
“Ready for what?” His hand finds hers. He’s more than ready, if he’s reading this right. She’s rarely like this beyond closed doors, and it sends a thrill through him. Her lips brushing his ear drives him just a little crazy. He starts to stand, but she pulls him back down.
“To be tripped up.” She smirks. He feels it.
“Wh—“
Leia’s fingers dig in with deadly accuracy. Han crumples and his bravado goes with him. Loud, hearty laughter bursts from him as he slides to the floor, boneless in her arms.
“Aw, look at you cool guy.” Luke sidles up next to him with a shit eating grin. He tickles mockingly under Han’s chin and he, mortifyingly, giggles. Luke chases the sound, having way too much fun for Han’s liking.
Han growls and tries to kick him. Leia’s fingers find his hips—cruel and unusual—and he’s toast. He resigns himself to die in her lap, which isn’t the overall worst way to go, and makes a mental note to write Luke out of his will.
As long as Chewie thinks he’s cool, he supposes it’s still a net win.

hate to say it-- kinda love how this season was shot...
the interviews being shot like that is so incredibly funny, the jj breakdown scene/longshot is literally a cinematic masterpiece, hate to say it but the surrealism of the nighttime scenes being so badly set during "night" is kinda iconic to me, some of the hand-held moments, the zoomes-
this season is kinda fucked up (cough cough. *stares*) but tbh.... its definitely not my least favorite

LONG RANT/WORD VOMIT! So demons and angels are naturally taller than humans right? Luke is only ten and he's around the same height as the average human (5'0-5'5) I would be a little salty if I was only three above Luke's height. (5'8)
Also them calling Luke fido. Like no, he's not short, your just tall asf. I would threaten to go to purgatory hall or the castle if they keep calling me short or worse (in their eyes) sleep in Solomons room!
However many times they call me short over the week is how many nights/hours I'm spending with Solomon and or sleeping in his room. Punishments need rewards though, right?
Beel is the brother getting rewarded the most with new food, and me cooking for him whenever he wants. I can even go to the gym with him and help him with his flexibility. (People saying demons are less flexible than humans is my life).
However castle residents are also constantly getting treats. Barbatos has a errand boy, food tester, a kitchen helper and an exterminator who helps get rid of rats.
Diavolo has someone to keep him company while he works. Maybe I drew him a tattoo design I think he should get. Maybe I got him hair clips. Who knows!
Simeon and Luke are rewarded for sheltering me (keeping the brothers away from purgatory hall)
Bows for barb
Ah, well, there is much debate about the heights. But there are no canon heights, so you get to imagine them as tall or short as you like! I think the only thing is that Luke is obviously shorter than the others, but actual numbers are up for interpretation.
I think you probably wouldn't need to do all that for too long. The brothers like to make fun of Luke for more than just his height - I think they consider him to be Chihuahua-esque in personality as well lol.
But I can't imagine they'd keep calling you short if you didn't like it. And they wouldn't like it even more if it resulted in you just leaving. I'm pretty sure they'd learn not to do that pretty quickly!
Though Beel is such a good boy in general, I think you could come up with all kinds of reasons to give him food or cook for him or bring him to the gym~
Of course Barbatos would be happy to have you help in any capacity.
Awww Diavolo totally needs company while he works. I think about MC hanging out with Lucifer a lot, but Diavolo probably needs company even more while doing piles of paperwork.
I think Simeon and Luke would also be thrilled to have you around, even if you do sleep in Solomon's room lol. They'll happily help keep the brothers away as needed.

i do see luke as generally more naturally calm than leia and level headed in a distinctly different way than her, but its so funny to me that so many fics when putting like, kid leia and luke together have luke being quiet and sweet while leia is a spitfire like child luke didnt also get into plenty of chaos and trouble as a kid on tatooine. he's sweet, but also energetic and a bit dramatic and impulsive lol, even before you get to his teenage years of shooting womp rats from the back of a speeder and joining the rebellion

I love to imagine Rebecca as trans like it just has become so ingrained in my mind it feels weird it’s not canon. She realized at a young age and her parents were supportive and let her present how she wanted and they used her name and pronouns, but they weren’t around enough to go the extra mile for her and make sure she was being protected. She was the target of some pretty bad bullying at school, both from the students and the staff, and Ashton was the first person to defend her. Ashton is cishet (cuz I think it’s funny) and hes kinda ignorant at first but he tries his best and he just likes Rebecca and wants good things for her and he’s so emo he scares away the bullies lol. And this was definitely a big part in Rebecca gaining feelings for him he just showed her this special kinda care that no one else ever did, and it’s what makes her extra insecure as the years go by. Cuz she wonders if maybe the reason Ashton never seems to reciprocate her feelings is because she’s trans and he just never thought to see her as romance material as a result. Which is a line of thinking that gets out of control really bad and she never gets to have the closure she wants with it either
She tells Isabella that’s shes trans just cuz they’re best friends and it sorta comes up eventually. Isabella was a tomboy growing up so she can definitely relate to the bullying shit pretty well and they are very protective of each other and vow to beat up anyone who talks shit about the other. They also just open each other’s minds a bit, Isabella helps Rebecca feel more comfortable in knowing there’s many different ways to be a woman, Rebecca helps Isabella maybe explore her feelings about her own gender and whether or not she’s really attached to womanhood. Zach finds out in a more casual way, it’s just something he learns cuz it felt weird that he was the only one who didn’t know and well. He’s a good guy, he wouldn’t mind. It’s not something the two of them ever talk about really, aside from bonding over a few shared experiences with having to deal with assholes. And really, being trans just isn’t something Rebecca wants to talk about too much, just because she’s gotten to a point where’s she’s experienced being stealth and she knows how quickly people can turn on you when they know, and she understandably doesn’t wanna deal with that shit. But because her friends are so supportive, she doesn’t exhale and let herself just exist naturally around them and it does help her feel less insecure about who she is
Sexuality wise I think she’s "straight" I think she’s spent most of her life looking at Ashton and just assuming she’d be with a man but once she finally gets to give up on him she has Moments with Isabella or like a certain fondness for Marianne and their shared love of history and other nerd shit and shes just like. Uh Oh 😟
#the letter#rebecca gales#my beloved my bestie my wife etc#ive also just written like in a scenario where she gets with luke shes gonna like get that dick and then shes like oh fuckkkkk#and its pretty frightening cuz luke is a notorious asshole but hes about to find out so she just lets it out#and hes weirdly chill hes just like ‘hnnnghh does it look like i fucking care about that right now daisy’#they uh. arent exactly a match made in heaven alkskf the way i write it like they are genuinely good for each other in a lot of ways#like i think they both can just help the other see important sides to themselves and improve#but i dont see them being like this happy long term couple i think rebecca can do soooo much better i think theyd get together when shes at#rock bottom and feels like no one will ever love her and she forms a bond with luke and she relates to him in a weird way#and this makes her feel worse like luke is the only one who sees the real her and she wants him because shes afraid hes the only one whod#tolerate her its just a very unhealthy situation and he has enough good in him to keep her on the hook#but enough bad in him to never satisfy what she needs and to make her feel like shit#its like. i dont think its IMPOSSIBLE for luke to be a good partner to her but hed have to do a LOTTT of changing that im just not confident#hed do plus like i mean hes literally a murderer and all of rebeccas friends hate him i dont think shed really be able to see past that#plus like hed be transphobic like maybe he isnt opposed to having sex with a trans woman in the moment but he certainly wouldnt be an ally#its all about whats convenient for him i think at best hed be like ‘youre one of the good ones!’#i kinda love lukebecca lol not in a ‘theyre cute’ way ew just in a. ‘their interactions are really funny and interesting’ kinda way#i want them to fuck nasty and i want rebecca to almost sink to his level but then rise above and kick his ass#and i want rebecca to be the one who got away for luke like losing her is the biggest wake up call of his life#and then rebecca lives her best life with her awesome friends and they work on communicating properly#and she realizes she doesnt need a man to complete her and then she writes a book and is loved pleaseeee

Percy doesn’t end up in the infirmary at 2:29 in the morning out of instinct, foresight, or any kind of divine ‘chosen one’ intervention.
He ends up in the infirmary at 2:29 in the morning because some Apollo kid was hooking up with an Ares kid on the beach, and they found you.
They found you, not Percy. He didn’t even have a clue until he woke up to Chiron in his cabin.
Percy had had his fair share of rude awakenings over the years, usually because of horrific demigod prophetic dreams, but the expression on Chiron’s face immediately alerted Percy that something was wrong, even through his groggy haze.
“Chiron?” he rasps, and he sits up as he rubs the sleep out of his eyes. He has to make sure he’s not still dreaming.
“I’m sorry to wake you, Percy,” he says. “But I need you to come with me.”
“What’s wrong?” he asks. “Is everyone okay? Is camp okay? Is there an invasion?”
“Nothing so ghastly,” Chiron says. Though his tone is a bit lighter, it still doesn’t ease Percy’s concerns. “But it does concern you.”
“Great,” Percy mumbles, and he pulls himself out of bed. Normally he would have the foresight to change, but a part of him is still worried that Christmas has come early and Kronos has already invaded the city.
So he follows Chiron—with all the sneaking around he’s done since getting to camp, it’s strange to be out this late and not have to worry about being eaten alive—clad in flannel pajama pants, a Yankee’s tee, and Converse he didn’t get the chance to fully lace up.
“You’d tell me if something was wrong,” Percy says, glancing up at him. “Right?”
“Of course,” he nods. “I wouldn’t classify this as something going wrong. Just… rather shocking.”
“Great,” he repeats. “Are you going to tell me?”
Chiron is silent for a moment, and Percy frowns. “Now I’m really worried.”
“I suppose it’s best to rip the bandage off,” Chiron says. He stops right outside the Big House and lets out a sigh. “An hour ago, a girl was found on the beach. She looked as if she’d been washed ashore.”
Percy’s frown deepens. “What? Gods— is she okay?”
“Yes,” Chiron says. “I checked her over for injuries, but she only had some minor bruises. No water in her lungs, somehow.”
“That’s crazy,” he says. “How could someone even wash up here? Even with demigods— don’t we have protections against that?”
“All of this makes me believe there was some… divine intervention,” Chiron says slowly. “Especially with who she is.”
Percy crosses his arms. “You’re making this sound like a huge deal. Who is she?”
“Percy,” Chiron says, soft but firm, “it’s your sister. Somehow, she’s come back to life.”
And for a second, all he can do is stare.
“What?”
“I could never forget her face,” he says. “Or the presence of a child of Poseidon.”
Percy shakes his head. “No, Chiron— if this is a joke, it’s not funny.” He huffs a mirthless laugh and looks down at his hands. “And if this is a shitty dream, then it’s really shitty.”
“Perseus, this is real,” he states.
He’s still shaking his head. “How can it be real? She’s dead— she’s been dead for years.”
“I don’t know,” he admits. “Mr. D has already gone back to Olympus to figure it out. But if I had to guess, your father decided to meddle.”
He wants to call it a lie. Honestly, he wants to punch Chiron for getting his hopes up about something like this. But deep down, Percy knows he’s telling the truth.
“Can I see her?” he asks. “Is— is she okay? Does she know who she is?”
“In time,” Chiron says. “I cannot be sure, but it doesn’t look like she remembers anything from her life.”
Percy shakes his head again. It doesn’t feel real. He’s imagined what it would feel like to meet you since the moment Luke told him about you, but he knew it could never happen.
But now, all that stands between Percy and his sister is a few doors.
“I want to see her,” he says.
“Of course,” Chiron nods. “I just need to make sure it won’t mess with her further. This isn’t like Thalia coming back with the fleece—though I have suspicions, I can’t be sure how this happened. It could be a very delicate matter.”
“As long as it doesn’t hurt her more.”
Chiron nods again and he opens the door to the Big House. He follows him up to his office door, then stops when Chiron gestures at the couch.
“I just need to discuss a few more things with her.”
Percy nods wordlessly and sits down, then Chiron disappears into his office.
A million things are running through Percy’s mind, namely guilt.
Shouldn’t he have been the one to find you?
Maybe it doesn’t make sense, but it’s you.
You’re his sister. He’s always had a connection to you, even when you were gone—gods, the night after he found out you existed you appeared in his dreams. Percy’s spent almost every moment since he found out about you wishing you were still here, that he could meet you, and when it finally does happen—somehow, because he still doesn’t understand what the fuck went on for this to happen—he’s not even the one to find you? He’s just asleep like every other night?
He huffs a sigh as he hunches over, his forearms on his knees. His leg bounces up and down at a rapid pace, moving his entire body with it, but this is one time he can’t lay his ADHD to rest. He’s more surprised he isn’t up pacing the entire room for the hundredth time.
If Percy feels like this, he can’t even imagine how you must feel. To come back for seemingly no reason with no memories, after four years in Elysium.
Luke said you’d been killed by a monster. You were buried like any other person.
You were gone.
But you just… came back.
He lets out another harried sigh and falls back against the couch. He’s exhausted, but there’s no chance of him being able to go back to sleep. Not with you around.
Suddenly, the door opens, and Percy instantly darts up from his seat. You walk out with Chiron and it’s almost surreal.
You look like all the pictures, all his dreams, just older—more mature. He wants to cry and scream and hug you all at once.
Your eyes widen slightly, and you glance at Chiron for a moment before you focus back on Percy.
“Uh— sorry,” he says, wincing a bit. He doesn’t know how to act around you, not when he knows you but you don’t know him. “I waited for you. I thought it would be good to have someone on the other side.”
“That’s really nice,” you murmur. “I… I see why. Word on the street is that you’re my brother.”
Percy nods way too many times. “Yeah. Uh— yeah. We’re both children of—”
He pauses, his gaze moving past you to Chiron. He has to have explained all this to you, right?
“Poseidon,” you finish, and you let out a slightly shaky laugh. “Chiron laid out all the basics.”
“This has all got to be really confusing,” he says. “I remember how lost I was when I first got to camp, and I didn’t even…”
“Die?” you ask wryly. He nods again. He really can’t finish any sentence around you—he’s so worried of saying the wrong thing and accidentally hurting you. Percy doesn’t know how any of this works.
“It’s strange,” you admit. “I… I lived this whole life before this, and I don’t even remember any of it.”
Percy’s heart clenches painfully. He doesn’t know how he’s going to explain everything to you when you start remembering.
When you start remembering Luke.
“Really?” he asks. “There’s nothing?”
You shake your head. “I have my name, but that’s all. And…”
Percy frowns. “What?”
You pause for a moment before you shake your head again. “Nothing. This is just…”
“Weird?”
You nod with a slight laugh. “Yeah. To say the least.”
“If it makes you feel better, you’re not the first person to come back to life,” Percy says. “Uh, a girl named Thalia used to be a tree before she was turned back into a human.”
You frown. “Wow.”
“We can get to all of that some other day,” Chiron thankfully interrupts. “Percy, will you take her back to your cabin?”
“You’re sure we won’t get eaten by the harpies?” Percy asks. “Aello is out for my blood.”
“I promise,” Chiron says. He glances at you, your frown noticeably deeper, and he looks back at Percy. “Perhaps we should, ah, hold off on this sort of discussion. Until tomorrow, at least.”
“Of course,” Percy says. “Sorry. You must be exhausted.”
“A little,” you admit. “Apparently coming back to life takes it out of you.”
“Come back here first thing in the morning,” Chiron says. “We have… quite a bit to talk about.”
“That’s an understatement,” you murmur.
Percy smiles a bit, and he gestures with his head for you to follow him. You do, and Chiron goes back into his office. He nabs a bag of ambrosia squares from an empty bedside as the two of you go through the infirmary just to be safe, and when he glances back at you he sees you frowning.
“Are you okay?” he asks. “Does anything hurt?”
“You’re a Yankees fan?” you say instead.
Percy blinks, then he realizes you’re looking at his shirt. “Uh— yeah.” He chuckles. “I’m from New York, and my mom loves them, so…” he tugs at his shirt. “I know you like the Red Sox. Sorry.”
“It’s okay,” you say. “We can’t all be perfect.”
Percy can’t help but smile. You died and came back to life, and you remember nothing but your name and your love for the Boston Red Sox.
“That means you keep up with baseball, right?”
“When I can,” he says. “We don’t really have technology out here.”
“Have the Red Sox won a world series since I’ve been gone?”
“They won last year, actually.”
Your eyes widen and you instantly grin. “Really?”
He nods. “They beat the Cardinals.”
“That— that’s huge!” you exclaim. “Oh my god, they broke the curse and I didn’t get to see it? This is the worst thing that’s ever happened to me!”
“You know you died, right?”
“And look how well that worked out for me.” You shake your head. “I need to go to the library or something and find some footage.”
“As much as I would love to do that,” Percy says, “we have a few other things we have to focus on.”
You huff and shake your head. “Fine. But as soon as we figure all this out, I’m figuring out some way to see those games.”
Percy chuckles. “I don’t think anyone’ll deny you that.”
“Good.”
Silence settles over the two of you as you walk back to the Poseidon cabin, and Percy just feels awkward.
He always thought about what he would say to you if he finally got to see you again, and now you’re alive somehow and right next to him and he has no idea what to do.
“You’re sure you’re not hurt?” Percy finally decides on. “Chiron said you just washed up on shore.”
“I feel surprisingly okay,” you say. “All I remember is waking up at the bottom of the lake. I thought I was going to drown, so I kicked my way up, and then got to shore.” You shake your head. “Somehow, I didn’t drown. My clothes weren’t even wet. I’ve got to be the luckiest person out there.”
“You’re a child of Poseidon,” he says. “We can’t breathe underwater so we can’t drown, and our clothes don’t get wet unless we want them to.”
“Like I said,” you incline your head, “luckiest person out there.”
“I just don’t get why you’re back,” Percy says. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad you are. I just don’t understand how, or why— or why now.”
You open your mouth to say something, but you’re not able to get any words out before a yawn interrupts it.
“Maybe that’s a tomorrow problem,” you say.
“I think you’re right,” Percy says. He opens the door to the camp store and you follow him inside, but you frown.
“What is this?”
“The camp store,” he says. “You don’t really have anything, so I wanted to get you some things.”
You just stare as he starts taking things. “You’re just… stealing?”
“Just a couple toiletries and some clothing,” he says. “They won’t miss it.” He stashes it all in a Camp Halfblood tote bag and holds it out to you, and though you’re a bit hesitant, you still take it.
“Thanks,” you say. “We won’t get in trouble?”
“I think everyone will cut you some slack for a while,” Percy says. “A guy did this for me my first day and it helps—makes you feel more at home.”
You hum, and this time you open the door for Percy. “Nice guy.”
Percy swallows the sudden lump in his throat, trying to ignore the chill that trickles down his spine as he realizes the implications of his words.
“Yeah,” Percy mutters. “He was.”
Eventually, the two of you get back to the Poseidon cabin. He opens the door for you and you slowly walk inside.
Again, it’s strange that you’re here. It’s like if a piece of his history textbook suddenly came to life and started walking around—he’s heard so much about you, imagined what he thought would be an impossible meeting so many times, but now that it’s actually happening he doesn’t know what to do.
And it hits even more as you walk over to a picture of yourself hanging on the wall, surrounded by a myriad of others.
It’s one of many of you and Luke, him holding you close with an arm slung around your shoulder as you beam at the camera with the brightest smile imaginable. Before Luke got his scar, before you died, before he went off the deep end.
“I put a couple of your pictures up,” Percy rushes to explain, his throat feeling scratchy, “and a few of your old things. As— as a way to remember you.”
“I love it,” you say, and the tension dissolves in his shoulders when he sees your smile. It really is so much brighter in person. “I— I can’t believe I don’t remember any of this.”
“We’ll figure out a way to get it back,” Percy says. “I promise.”
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” you say idly as you continue to take all the pictures in. He can’t imagine what it must feel like to see all these memories of a past life you have no recollection of.
“I don’t,” he says. “We’re gonna figure it out.”
You’re silent for a while as you keep looking at them. Then you take one of the pictures off the wall, the one of you and Luke at a baseball game.
“Luke,” you murmur, as if you don’t realize you’re saying it out loud. You blink, then you turn to Percy. “His name is Luke, isn’t it?”
He nods, almost in disbelief. You don’t remember a damn thing about your old life but you know Luke’s name.
How is Percy supposed to tell you what he did?
You laugh softly as you trail your nail over the edge. “We must’ve been pretty close if I got him to go to a Red Sox game.” You look over at Percy. “Does he go here too?”
After a moment, Percy shakes his head. “He— uh, he used to.”
“Makes sense,” you murmur, and you put the picture back on the wall. “I got the easy way out. Everyone else had to deal with the fallout.”
Percy frowns. “You were killed by a monster. I don’t think anyone considers that the easy way out.”
“It kinda was,” you say with a shrug. “I— I don’t remember much about it, but Chiron said I was in Elysium. There aren’t any monsters down there, and there certainly aren’t any responsibilities.”
“Well,” Percy sits down on his bed, “I’m glad you’re here. You don’t know how many times I’ve imagined meeting you.”
You chuckle. “I didn’t know I was so popular.”
“I’m serious,” he says. “Poseidon is one of the Big Three, and they made an oath not to have kids. I was the only Big Three kid in general when I got to camp—when I found out about you, all I could think about was how badly I wanted to have a sister to talk about all of this with.”
Your eyes soften, and you lean against his bed frame. “I’m sorry.”
“What are you sorry about?”
“I— I don’t know,” you say with a slight laugh. “I just feel bad that I couldn’t be there for you.”
“You’re already doing a pretty good job at being a big sister,” Percy says wryly.
“Thanks,” you say. “You’re doing a pretty good job at being a younger brother.”
Percy laughs and smiles, and you smile too. He’s beginning to understand what Luke always said, about your presence embodying warmth. He’s only been around you for a few minutes and he already feels better.
“I’ve never had a brother before this,” you say. “So there might be a couple speed bumps.”
“We’ll get through them together,” Percy says. “Besides, I… I kind of always considered you my sister. Ever since I found out about you, even though you were…”
“Dead?” you guess, and he winces. You chuckle a bit. “It’s still weird for me, too. Can’t imagine what it must be like for all of you.”
“Weird,” he says without really thinking. “Really weird. But I’m thankful that you’re back.”
You smile. “So am I, Percy.”
You let out another yawn, and you sit down on the bed across from him. “God, what time is it?”
Percy glances at the clock in the corner. “3:34.”
You whistle. “I really chose a great time to come back, huh?”
He chuckles, and he kicks off his shoes as gets up to turn the lights off. “I think some sleep would do us both some good.”
You nod and do the same. As you lay back, one hand behind your head, you continue to look around the cabin.
“Are these your band posters?”
He shakes his head as he sits back down. “They’re yours, actually, but you’ve got good taste. I love Pearl Jam.”
“I used to have good taste, you mean,” you say wryly.
“Hey,” he says. “I meant what I told you. We’re gonna get your memories back.”
“How are you so sure?”
“I’ve done a lot of impossible things,” Percy says. “And so have you, from what I’ve heard. It’s kind of the Poseidon kid way, honestly.”
“You’ll have to teach me some things, then.”
“And when you get your memory back, you’ll have to do the same,” he says.
You smile and nod. “Deal.”
Percy smiles too, and he lays down. “You really should try and get some sleep. Chiron wasn’t joking when he said we have a lot to talk about.” He huffs a slight laugh. “Whatever the reason is for you coming back, I guarantee there’s gonna be some people upstairs that are mad about it.”
Your eyebrows rise. “Upstairs?”
“Olympus,” he says. “The gods don’t really like things happening out of their control.”
You hum, and for a moment there’s nothing but silence and the sound of both your breathing. It’s a little strange having someone else here other than Tyson, but he’s thankful for it.
“What’s gonna happen to me?” you ask. There’s an edge of fear in your voice, and Percy frowns.
“Nothing.”
“Don’t lie.”
“Nothing is going to happen,” he repeats. “I’m not going to let anything happen. The gods have already messed with your life enough—they don’t get to do it again.”
Percy half-expects to hear the sound of thunder echoing across camp, but the silence continues. Maybe Zeus isn’t listening in on him for once, or maybe he just expects the disrespect at this point.
“I really am the luckiest person,” you say. “I’ve got someone like you looking out for me.”
“You were looking out for me when you were gone,” he says. “You might not remember, but I could feel it. So I’m just repaying the favor.”
Again, silence. It’s temporarily interrupted by the sound of sheets shifting, then you speak.
“I’m really glad I got to meet you, Percy,” you murmur.
He can’t help but smile, and he tries to ignore the tears beginning to spring in his eyes. He has no idea why you’re back—no idea what this could mean. Maybe your dad did bring you back, maybe it’s a bizarre case like Thalia, maybe you play a part in something that they don’t even know about yet and it's nothing but bad news.
But for once in his life, Percy’s not going to question it.
You’re alive and you’re here.
For now, that’s all he needs.
“Me too,” he whispers.

RIGHT SIDE OF MY NECK
luke castellan x daughter of hades reader
Tumblr media
★ relationship headcanons!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ABOUT - cute little relationship headcanons for luke and his child of hades gf <3
WARNINGS - a little bit of nsfw at the end 💋
A/N - not my fav lol… it’s ok i think it’s kinda cute
Tumblr media
luke castellan is the ultimate gentleman. he’s sweet, thoughtful, caring, all that stuff.
he always makes an effort to include you in everything because he knows how hard it is for you to make friends and such. he’s always inviting you to hang out with him and his friends, or taking you out to chaperone his cabin with him.
he’s your knight in shining armour. before you and luke even became friends, he was looking out for you. always saying hello, inviting you to spar with him, things like that.
luke castellan makes sure his girlfriend is comfortable in every situation. he knows you’re shy, so he tries his best to soothe your nerves whenever you’re talking in a big group of people. he’ll wrap his arm around your back and gently hold your waist, or he’ll kiss your cheek or shoulder- hoping it’ll soothe you. and it usually does, but it mostly flusters you.
he tries to spend as much time alone with you as possible. this means a lot of whisking you away to the hades cabin, because it’s completely empty.
you spend hours just talking and laying in your bed, playing with his hair as you two joke around about stupid shit.
he kinda feels superior to everyone else because he gets to know you more than anyone ever could. other than him and a few of your friends, everyone thinks you’re shy and timid. and sure, you are those things, but you’re also loving and hilarious and so so so witty.
luke castellan’s favourite thing about you is your sharp tongue. you’re funny, and dark, which makes for some really funny comments. the first time you make a joke around him, he couldn’t stop laughing. it was shocking hearing such morbid jokes some from such a shy mouth.
you are not one for PDA. you think that making out in public is weird and gross. he agrees… to an extent.
obviously, you’re not jamming your faces together ever minute of everyday, but luke is very needy.
he’s so overly touch starved and extremely obsessed with you, that if he’s around you he has to be able to be close with you to some extent.
this means holding hands, or pressing his shoulder against yours, playing with your hair, fiddling with your fingers, etc…
just small things like that.
when you’re alone, he’s a lot more touchy. and you love it- you’re as touched starved at him, you’re just better at hiding it.
luke loves to just hold you. he loves to just wrap his arms around you and bury his face in your neck, leaving little kisses all along your skin.
he loves watching you squirm and turn red when he caresses the sides of your hips. he honestly loves everything you do.
luke is extremely respectful of you and your boundaries. he’s also extremely needy. these two things can be true at the same time.
he started spending nights in your bed at the hades cabin using the excuse ‘it smells bad and is always so loud!! y/n you’ve gotta help me!!’
obviously you give in, because you love luke and love sleeping next to him. who cares if it’s against the rules?
but after the third night of just sleeping next to each other, you start noticing just how desperate he is for you.
the way he clings onto your body for dear life, how he falls asleep only after you start playing with his hair.
it’s charming really.
semi-nsfw ahead ‼️
your only issue with luke sleeping in your bed is the way he makes sure his hips stay far away from your body. sure, he’s being respectful, he’s a teenage boy- he can’t control it. but you kinda wish he didn’t sometimes.
you’ve tried talking about it with him, but you get to shy. it’s hard for you.
i mean, how on earth do you tell your boyfriend that you know he’s constantly hard for you? and that you also wish he’d tell you? and maybe that you also wish he’d go further than just the occasional boob groping or thigh rubbing?
lol so you don’t. you don’t say a word. instead, you turn around and wrap your leg around his body as you’re laying down, halfway through a sleepy conversation. you cling to his form, rubbing your hands over his back.
you hear him let out a quiet groan, looking down at you like you’re evil as he purses his lips.
“what’s wrong, luke?” you ask innocently, ignoring his clothed length fully twitching against your thigh.
he rolls his eyes and just starts kissing your forehead and cheeks, wrapping his body around yours as he tries to hold himself back a little.
“we’ve been dating for like… over a month.” you whisper, running your fingers through luke’s hair as he rests his head on your chest.
he nods slowly, which sends shivers down your spine. the feeling of his hair tickling your skin never fails to make you flustered.
“if you wanna go further you can ask.” you say quietly.
5 minutes later and you’re under him as your hands grasp onto your bedsheets, now covered in hickeys.
he’s gentle and thoughtful, always asking if it’s okay to continue or not.
he goes slow, leaving kisses all over your body as he watches you squirm and giggle quietly.
he’s sweet and caring and you love the way he makes you feel, and you love watching him go absolutely crazy over your touch.
you probably couldn’t ask for a more attentive and respectful boyfriend. he’s so polite and kind and caring- he makes you feel like you’re a princess.
being a child of hades has made it hard for people to get to know you- the real you. but luke never found it hard to know you past your name. he loves you more than life itself.

do you have any luke hughes tea ?😸
sure! some of this isn’t necessarily tea, just some things i know about him, if that’s also cool with you!
1. he is single! yes, he’s been following and unfollowing girls like it’s his job (and i find it hilarious because it sounds like he unfollows them when they don’t follow him back 😭 petty king) and liking photos, but i haven’t been told of anything or anyone he’s been seeing / been exclusive with.
2. going off of #1, luke isn’t really the kind of guy to do hookups. (i think a lot of people know this now but if you didn’t, yeah, he’s not really a hookup kind of guy)
3. he’s funny. oh, my god, you guys, he is genuinely so funny, and his humor is extremely blunt and dry, or deadpan, if you’d like to call it that. i’m never not laughing when i see him at devils events or other places.
4. he’s shy, and very, very nice. shy isn’t the perfect word to use here, but he definitely isn’t extroverted. (though the 🦋 told me that he is definitely the loudest and craziest/most hyper of the three brothers when around friends / the team LOL)
5. on the umich game tea circling - i’ll be honest, i am absolutely not sure about this one, so i won’t answer for this tea. i can ask around, but i’m genuinely not sure if they’ll be going to umich’s first game of the season this year. it depends on when sheldon & rick want players back in new jersey / vancouver for preseason, and if they can swing it with their schedules. i know a few of their friends from umich were joking / commenting on socials that they have to come for a fantasy football punishment, but we’ll see!
if you want anything specific, let me know, but that’s all i’ve got right now! (and like i said with nico, my level of information will change heavily when the guys start coming back here to jersey😁)

honestly maybe just don't do this to him it feels cruel haha
Solomon
he seems like he'd actually enjoy it
just convince him that it's just how they are now and he's been away from the human world for too long
however, this will all go out the window as soon as he buys himself a tray haha

I just realized it's them. Eddie, the Reader, and my kids.
It would be funny if they were watching the movie and Eddie teases them that they look like kittens and some say it's actually them as a family.
Tumblr media
I needed to write this. Was very compelled to write about Eliza making everyone watch this movie lol. I hope you like what my crazy brain came up with!
Previously talked about on this ask too 😻
Words: 1.4k
[As You Wish masterlist]
Tumblr media
Family movie nights have become rarer as the boys have gotten older, but the tradition hasn’t been altogether lost. Once in a while you can wrangle the boys down for an evening of snacks and family bonding.
Luke is laid out on the floor as per usual, on his stomach and pounding down Doritos and Mountain Dew like a man starved, not a 14-year-old boy who just had three large helpings of baked ziti not an hour ago. Ryan occupies the La-Z-Boy lounger that is effectively known as Wayne’s chair, it being the older man’s favorite spot in the household. The older Munson brother’s attention is currently half on the movie and half on the girl he likes at school.
Eliza is sitting cozy on the couch between you and Eddie. At some point during the movie, she’ll end up snuggled against either you or her father, but right now she’s content enough to sit on her own, her pink unicorn blanket spread out over her lap and little legs.
Eddie is slouched against an arm of the couch but has his arm draped along top, the tips of his fingers just barely able to brush over the back of your neck. So, of course, that’s what he’s been doing since the movie started. You sit hip to hip with your daughter, a bowl of popcorn balanced on your thigh that she and you keep taking kernels from.
As the song Everybody Wants to Be a Cat ends, Eddie smiles to himself. He sees his children in all three of the troublemaking kittens that were just singing and dancing around on screen.
Ryan notices and raises an eyebrow at his father. “The singing cartoon cats making ya happy, Dad?”
Eddie rolls his eyes and flicks a pretzel in his eldest child’s direction.
“No, smartass. I was just thinking how they remind me of you guys.”
Luke rolls on his side so he can look at his dad over his shoulder.
“Did I grow a tail I wasn’t aware of? I’d like to think you’d keep me updated on that kind of thing, Dad.”
“You’re the little wiseass cat,” Eddie says, gesturing to the screen with his chin. “The orange one that tries to act all tough.”
“Toulouse,” Eliza says, as if her father should’ve known his name and it offends her that he didn’t.
“And he’s the one who’s most like the dad,” you point out with a shrug. It’s no secret that Luke is basically Eddie’s twin.
“He’s not their dad!” Eliza says with a small huff. Her parents are disappointing her with their Disney knowledge tonight.
“My point still stands,” you say before pressing a kiss to the top of your daughter’s head.
Luke shoves another handful of Doritos in his mouth and goes back to looking at the screen.
“I’m not a ginger,” Luke says, though with his mouth being full it sounded more like, “M’not a jinjuh.”
“Who’s he?” Eliza asks as she points to the black and white cat on the screen.
“I thought you knew all the names,” Eddie says. Eliza rolls her eyes, looking identical to her father as she does it.
“No. Luke is Toulouse so who Berlioz?”
“Oh, okay,” Eddie says now that his daughter has cleared up his confusion. “Definitely Ryan. He’s the quietest one but he can still be mischievous.”
“Silent but deadly,” Ryan says.
“Like his farts,” Luke adds, making Eliza giggle.
“Who me?” Eliza asks, looking up at her father with the same big brown eyes that she inherited from him.
“Marie, of course,” Eddie says as he musses her curls. That name he knows by now. “You’re the spoiled, pampered, sweet girl of the gang.”
The word “sweet” doesn’t seem to matter to Eliza, only focusing on the first two. Her little round face pinches up in a frown; her brows coming together over her dark eyes and her lips forming into a puckering pout. You try, and almost fail, to contain your laughter as your daughter stares at your husband with the cutest menacing look you’ve ever seen.
“What?” Eddie asks when she doesn’t look away.
“Not a spoiled kitty,” she says.
“You asked!” Eddie scrunches up his face and sticks his tongue out at her. She does the same in return, proving that your husband is as mature as a three-year-old.
Luke finishes the Doritos in his mouth and wipes his cheesy hands off on his White Sox shirt.
“You know, I think our whole family is like theirs,” he muses.
“What?” Ryan asks. By the tone of his voice it sounds like he’s over everyone talking and just wants to watch the movie in silence again.
“Yeah,” Luke says and gestures to the screen in front of him. “Stray, scruffy alley cat gets the pretty, sophisticated girl that’s out of his league?”
As unsubtly as possible, Luke jerks his head back towards you and Eddie on the couch.
“Hey!” you pout. “That’s not true.”
“Pretty much is,” Eddie admits with a laugh.
You move to scoot closer to your husband, little Eliza getting caught in the middle. The small girl hisses like a cat when she gets squished between her parents.
“Jesus,” Ryan groans as he rubs a hand over his eyes. Any form of overt affection between you and your husband has been annoying the teen boy lately. Eddie finds it amusing and whenever the two of you are alone your husband quietly surmises to you that your son is more annoyed by the fact that he can’t express the same sort of affections to the girl he likes. It makes sense since Ryan has always been one to express his love physically with hugs and such.
Now, Eddie presses a smacking kiss to the side of your head—almost to spite Ryan’s attitude—
before looking down at your daughter squeezed between the two of you.
“I think you even look like a kitty!” he tells her.
Eliza pushes her way to her feet on the couch with a huff. Watching her trying to stand in the cramped space has you tucking in your lips to avoid laughing. Once up, Eliza shoves at her dad’s shoulder as she’s seen her brothers do to one another many times.
“My little kitty!” Eddie teases, finding her reaction comical. He snatches Eliza and holds her in his lap as he tries to press kisses all over her face. Stubble scratches and rubs against Eliza’s soft skin, making her squeal and wiggle around in Eddie’s grip.
“If we’re all cats, do you think another family will adopt me?” Ryan asks in a sullen adolescent tone.
“No,” Luke answers simply. Thank God he hasn’t become a brooding, moody teenager—yet, anyway.
Eliza manages to slip free from her father’s grip and runs over to jump on Ryan’s lap.
“Save me!” she wails.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got ya,” Ryan says as she snuggles into his lap, tucking her head beneath her eldest brother’s chin.
Eddie takes advantage of the newly empty space between you, and he pulls you flush up against his side. You give Eddie a soft kiss before laying your head on his shoulder.
“Ick,” Eliza complains, looking over at you on the couch.
“Yeah, ick,” Ryan echoes.
“Wasn’t he the one who wanted us to have a baby practically as soon as we got together? Now he thinks it’s gross that I kiss you,” Eddie says softly to you, but not soft enough that Luke didn’t hear.
“Yeah, but now we got what we wanted,” Luke says with a shrug.
“Maybe now you guys can get fixed,” Ryan says with a smirk.
Eddie opens his mouth to retort but Eliza holds her arms in the air, an immediate call for silence.
“Shhhh! This good part!”
She snuggles back against her big brother, who sticks his tongue out at his dad.
Casually, Eddie wraps his arm around your back so he can flip his oldest son the bird without Eliza seeing. Ryan just laughs and goes back to watching the movie, curious to see what’s so special about this part. The sixteen-year-old’s laughter brings a smile to your face. You haven’t heard it as often as you’d like to lately.
After Eddie situates his arm around your shoulders, you snuggle up to him and drape Eliza’s unicorn blanket over your lap. The Disney movie is not as enticing to you as your husband is, so you press a kiss just below Eddie’s ear before whispering to him.
“I love our kittens. No matter how ferocious they like to pretend they are.”
Eddie chuckles his agreement.
“The cutest little feral monsters around.”

My teammates get annoyed because I talk about you so much.” with Lukey! I imagine hearing this from Curtis and John lol
star’s birthday party
-
luke had yet to introduce you to the team. of course you had met jack, but you hadn’t met anyone else. it wasn’t that you didn’t want to meet them or that luke was hiding you, it was just that nothing ever lined up perfectly.
the running joke in the locker room was that you didn’t exist. the photo of you and luke in his locker stall was the only one he had ever shown them and the only one on social media. every time there was an event, you were either sick or out of town for work.
luke was talking about the plans for the summer. talking about how you were going home with him to michigan and to watch him play in worlds.
“do you ever shut up about this girl?” john teased. “i bet she doesn’t even exist. what’s that saying? goes to another school? is from canada?” curtis continued.
“ha. funny. jack tell them.”
“she was at the apartment two nights ago i think but i didn’t see her,” jack said. “sounds like a lie to me,” john patted luke on the shoulder. “its okay buddy, you’ll find someone one day.”
luke never stopped his rambling about you but his teammates still had yet to meet you or come to terms with the possibility that you were in fact a real person who was really dating luke.
it was the last game of the year and you weren’t going to go but something cleared off your schedule and you got to go to the game. luke was finally ready to show you off.
the game ended with the devils losing but he didn’t care. “she’s real. you’ll see soon,” luke said as he changed. “sure bud,” john and curtis both teased him.
when all the players were leaving to meet their families, luke scanned the room for you and for a second his heart dropped when he didn’t see you. curtis was ready to chirp him but then you entered, looking slightly frazzled.
“i took a wrong turn and got twisted around,” you said as luke quickly approached you. you were taken aback when he kissed you. “oh hi to you too.”
“guys, this is my girlfriend, (y/n),” luke finally got to introduce you. “he’s not paying you for this or anything right?” john asked. “no?” you furrowed your eyebrows together. “my teammates get annoyed because i talk about you so much. and they thought you were fake.”
“in our defense, we only have ever seen one photo of you and you always have to cancel last minute!” curtis defended. “oh god is it that stupid grainy photo of us on the boat last summer?”
“i love that photo of us,” luke pouted.
