I MASSIVELY AGREE with the binjpipe takes. i think ETS was good/iconic if only because it was so like. for the first time in what felt like his whole life, y/n had finally felt like a real person. his whole life, he’d been spoken to with pity - or bullied and provoked. no middle ground. either people would purposely trigger his tics, finding humour in the condition that had come upon him at seven, or tiptoed around him, walked on eggshells after knowing about his tourettes.

the boy sat beside him had never, not once, dared to do either. partially because he somehow had yet to clock onto the repetitive behaviours, yet also partially because it was not who he was as a person to judge someone because of such a thing.

he talked to y/n like he was normal. because he was in fact almost completely normal, bar the ability to literally move things with his mind. “we can talk about anything, right?” he spoke, unsure about whether or not he should bring up his thoughts.

“of course.” peter nodded, turning his head away from the sunset and toward his friend. “whats going on in the head of yours?”

“i..” he sighed “i feel like my entire life - everybody else has been in on some massive inside joke that only i’m not apart of.” it didn’t make sense, yet at the same time it made perfect sense. “it feels as if they all know something i don’t, and because of that everybody finds a way to point out my cluelessness.”

peter took the words in for a second, before agreeing “i feel that, i feel crazy sometimes.” y/n ushered him to continue “somehow people always find something in me they don’t like, which is messed up because i try my best to do everything right - but it feels so easy to fail.”

“thats why your dad left!” the boy instantly regretted the statement, following it up with a rushed apology, being interrupted by his friend.

“thats why yo momma love me more.” he shrugged simply, smug smile on his face, a gasp left y/n’s mouth.

“my momma dead.” he frowned, peters face dropped, fear filling his face “she isnt! i saw her this morning!”

“thank fuck.” he sighed “do you remember when i first found out about your tics? that was funny.”

the two were hidden behind a wall, listening in on a conversation - well. one of them was. whilst peter was hyper-focused on the talking going on right next to them, y/n was in his own head about everything, focusing so hard on not blurting out anything that could ruin the mission. though, his tics were like coughs - the more you focused on not coughing, the more likely you were to grow your need to do so.

his heart was beating so hard he could hear it in his head, and unfortunately, this distracted his thoughts. “penis parker!” he belted out, eyes widening after he did so. “fuck.” he sighed, being shot at. he floated a desk, throwing it at the group of bad guys before gripping onto peter as the boy webbed out of there.

“what the fuck?!” he yelled once they got to safety, dragging his hands across his face as he ripped of his mask “how did you even find that out? how-“

“you’re peter?!” y/n gasped, mouth agape. now peter was even more lost. if he’d just outed himself for no reason, why did the other boy shout out such a condescending statement? “i- er..”

the sky was now dark, void of stars thanks to the light pollution in new york, but the scene was still strangely beautiful. the new found silence between the two was nice, not an uncomfortable one, just two friends reminiscing on one of their first missions together.

peter hesitated to break the silence, not sure if his next statement would mean enough to ruin such a nice moment between them.

pjs daycare was a AU for undertale made by blogthegreatrouge. the au, was as it says, a daycare. basically all the sans aus were children, from like 3-6 i think, and the characters were... sanscest ship characters or sans fusions. one of the caretakers, and our- basic mc, is Paperjam, or PJ, the fusion between ink sans and error sans. i say fusion because i think that what they were originally intended to be before the fandom... yoinked them. aslo i refuse to ship sans aus together because thats WEIRD AS ALL SHIT. anyway. those are the basics, shipkids/fusion sanses are the caretakers and the sanses are children. interesting concept ig (i will make it better trust)

ok now that we have the basics down, lets get to the story. this was a ask blog so there wasnt much story, but from what i do remember, there were 2 major plot lines. the first plot line was uhm. borderline gr00ming. basically fresh sans, the satire sans au, has a crush on PJ. this fresh is i think about 3 yrs old. so ok, hes a kid, kids are weird. he claims he wants to marry pj. again, child, children say that stuff alot. and you think pj would be yk, normal and be like " no no, we cant do that" nicely and shit. WELL HE DOESNT. THIS BITCH SAYS "we cant get married righ now, but when your all grown up we can ^^" IM SORRY HUH. SIR. WHAT. not only that, later, there is a ask of how would pj react to adult fresh. in which its super weird with really gross sexual tension. not only that, lets follow in this aus rule, aus made by the same creator/s are gonna be related. ok. error, fresh and geno/aftertale are brothers. kinda weird but lets keep going here. pj in rouges interpretation is a ship child. A SHIP CHILD. MEANING FRESHIE HERE IS IS UNCLE?? ITS SO WEIRD?? also there is a mini plot line where ink and error like each other and its a big deal even tho, again, CHILDREN. also same person but i digress.

our next plotline is... where shit hits the fan. so, error, gets deathly sick and needs to go to the hospital. didnt know monsters had hospitals but ok. geno, error's older brother who is at most, 5, gets really depressed. and ik depression can come at any age, however, GENO here tries to commit farewell. this. doesn't. make. sense. a child isnt old enough to even comprehend death that well, let alone have the feeling to die AND ACT ON IT. not only that, right after stopping geno from leaving this mortal plane (isnt he immortal though?) they completely forget about it and have this weird romance between palette and goth (swap sans and dream sans) (geno and reaper) and its super weird, and gross (not as gross as nerd and jock but still) and palette is weirdly obsessive over goth and shit so its all just a huge pile of SHIT

oh yeah there is also this weird plot line with like this trio of mini villains, one being rouges self insert i think so. yeah.

anyway, that was pj's daycare. i will be reworking and remaking the entirety of this au. so uh.

Arcane Brainrot 2

Caitlyn, i believe is going to be used by Ambessa to push forward her agenda. Ambessa definitely wants revenge over Zaun because like i said previously, i believe Mel to be dead.

But it is also a factor that Noxians love to conquer, they are known for it as far as i have researched. So I believe Ambessa will try to rule over both Piltover and Zaun.

And she will use Caitlyn's rage, fuel it to further her plans. Caitlyn might be manipulated for a while in this season, whenever she falters, be it be her humanity or compassion coming forth when Zaunites are hunted like crazy as she leads the charges or if she sees Vi go through breakdowns regarding Jinx. Ambessa is going to make it seem like Cait is a failure for letting emotions come into play.

And whenever Vi would try to interfere, and make Cait see reason at some points, its gradually going to make it seem like Vi is protecting Zaun. And thats going to cause so many issues with CaitVi ( Imma cry at this, why are they doing this to us).

and i think this is all in the beginning. Because I do think there would be a time skip (also taking into factor the Annecy spoilers). The more Cait becomes obsessed with finding Jinx, the more she would push Vi away. At one point, Vi is going to leave.

Before leaving, i do think Vi might try to find Jinx one last time, in hopes that it would end this. I dont think it works out and that might make Cait lash out even more.

Like it was said in the sneak-peaks, vi isnt accepted in either Zaun or Piltover. So she becomes a street fighter, trying to feel something. it might be Cait who tracks her down and somehow convinces her to come back.

The thing i cannot place is if Vi becomes an enforcer after or before the timeskip. both theories work kinda well but in different ways.

Maybe both of these things happens after the time skip even? Vi is already an enforcers when Cait becomes obsessed and she leaves for Zaun. And when she comes back, she resumes her place as an enforcer.

the more i think, the more i cannot understand what my brain is trying to piece together.

If Vi is made to come back as an enforcer to Cait, I think she would ask for a few people she's made friends with to be on the team as well. Not everyone on Cait's team look like Pilties. So maybe Vi made connections during her time as an underground fighter and brings in people who she thinks would help them reach their goal.

Another theory that i've been toying with is that, perhaps, Vi never actually abandons her search for Jinx. I think even when she's literally GOING THROUGH IT and hallucinating Cait and is trying her best to cope, she is constantly keeping tabs on Jinx and everything that going on in Zaun. She's collecting evidence and leads (might even be sending it anonymously to Cait or someone she trusts in Piltover) until the time is right to strike.

MAYBEEEE (im getting more theories as i write wtf) jinx and Vi stay in touch during her fighter era. This could've happened after the entire Warwick reveal and the sisters having to be cordial situation , or something to together for like i mentioned in my previous theory post. So Jinx and Vi might be trying to track Warwick or see who's behind all of it, how to keep Noxus out of Zaun (and Piltover). so this might be mid Act 2 or early Act 3.

okay big wall of some of my shadow generations thoughts . spoiler warning obviously

i will start by just saying that this game is soo good like in general. ive said before that i was initially very skeptical of this whole thing but very quickly changed my mind upon seeing the first trailer and im SO glad that it did turn out to be good. this feels like one of the first times in a really long time that theyve put actual care into shadows involvement in a story instead of just throwing him in something for five seconds because they know hes popular. the game IS a bit short but i was expecting that and its somewhat reasonable considering its technically only half the game. but what we did get was great. we are so back .

i love the gameplay i talked earlier about how i like that they put more effort into making shadow play differently from sonic by incorporating his chaos powers into his gameplay, but the doom powers are really cool also and were such a fun addition. ive always wished they would do more with shadow being part black arms but didnt expect it to ever come up again so everything about this is kinda surreal to me

i love love love the optional dialogue i went out of my way to make sure i didnt miss any of it and theres so many cute ones and i have to stop myself from mentioning specific ones on this post because if i do ill be going on forever

also the music was good Obviously thats a given with sonic games. but special shoutouts to the menu music i thought it was a cute detail that sonics side had a remix of it doesnt matter while shadows was a remix of throw it all away. and that all hail shadow remix for the final boss goes sooo hard i was honestly expecting them to use i am all of me but this is cool too

as far as criticisms and nitpicks go. uhhhhh . this isnt that big a deal but i do find it the tiniest bit disappointing that they didnt really leave anything a surprise in terms of the gameplay, if im remembering right they showed pretty much everything in the trailers except for the final boss but im sure everyone knew who that was going to be it was jut the specific form he took that was the surprise. but like i said its not that big a deal especially considering they didnt show much of the story in the trailers so it balances out in a way . also i didnt know what the best place to put this in would be but i just wanted to say i got so excited when i got to the final stage because radical highway is one of my favorite sonic levels . peace and love on planet earth

i also think chaos island was a weird choice for a stage because all the others are from games shadow is a main character in but he isnt in frontiers at all? maybe they didnt wanna repeat games and were running out of ideas so they just threw a frontiers stage in since it wouldnt have any representation otherwise. i dont know.

there is only one real "this sucks" thing for me and its rouge's voice acting. its soo terrible ive never liked her current voice but she sounded particularly bad here to the point where it was distracting..... when it comes to other voice actors who are one of my less liked voices for their character im at least able to say that theyre doing a good job or have improved a lot over the years even if theyre not my first pick. but i swear to god rouge has gotten worse

anyway . good game . the ending made me tear up a little. thumbs up emoji . will probably play sonics side at some point too but idk if ill do it today

first of all i love the braid. this book is the only time shes had it (so far...) but ive completely incorporated it into how i picture her in my head. i think its such a good look for her even though i cant figure out what its doing half the time

the costume itself isnt very interesting in this story but i can forgive that because her costumes are rarely interesting

i dont think its a bad costume but its just not a very good one. go girl give us nothing! but it still looks good on her so i love this art

anyways. i loooove how shes drawn out of costume <3 i actually dont know if spokes drew these panels just because it looks so different than the others but no one else is credited so i have to assume its still him

if im being honest i think they could tweak this look and make it her actual costume (i want her to have the sort of costume sort of casual look) because it has a lot of good elements that could work + the shirt underneath is pretty close the her costume in tt03 and ds16. the second best time to give her a new costume is now. the best time was 2005. but thats not the point. the point is i think shes drawn so nice in these panels and i love the way she looks here <333

i am in love. you've infected both me and my sister with your brainrot and captivating fics, we've talked about it non-stop the past few days, so naturally we have some questions.

But first, i want to ask what your boundaries are w/ fanart and writing. i've already drawn a couple pieces, are you alright with me posting them, and what should i tag them with? Also, i'm feeling very inspired to write more zed and tango for the travelling thieves au, is that alright if i take your ideas and just yoink them? Im not planning to post whatever i write at this point :P

anyways, moving on, i have a few world-building questions for you, starting w/ traveling thieves:

how does the mercenary guild and hits system work? Can anyone put a hit out on anyone, or do they have to be a wanted criminal? also, how does gem choose her targets? i like to believe she has some sort of moral compass in picking, but knowing the world they live in, i can't be certain

this is less of a question, but i don't see how the world can be resolved. For ttsbc, the obvious solution to the undercity folk living freely is that they overthrow the overcity government or just remove the laws keeping them banned. Sure, it'd be difficult, but from what we've seen, most people don't actually have strong prejudices against the undercity, they just vaguely believe they're evil, which can be very easily disproved. For traveling thieves, it's completely different, because not only is the discrimination in the government, it's in the people themselves; merely changing the laws would not change how people see hybrids, so how can that be fixed? My best solution to them all getting a happy ending is that they run away and found their own civilization where all hybrids can be free, but it doesnt seem like a likely scenario

again, not really a question, but I'm so so so happy in the latest fh piece that they looted the bodies of their attackers. the first time i read it through, i was practically screaming at the screen, telling them to grab the loot and weapons before they continued

4. how do the mobs work? do they act like any normal animal, in that they just kinda exist and happen to be very hostile, or do they follow minecraft mob mechanics and spawn into existence from nothing when the conditions are right? could they theoretically all be exterminated? do all of them dislike light, like the zombies in the cleo bdubs fic? if they do, why are they making their way to the overcity?

5. how did the undercity become a thing? Was it just always there, or was it manmade? did hybrids and mutants always live underground? are the pits really bottomless? and if so, is the world a globe, or is it flat? i understand you might not have thought very deeply about these things before jumping in, but my sister and i were theorizing about different answers. i figured the undercity isnt manmade just like the grand canyon isnt manmade, it just came about through natural processes, and mutants and hybrids just evolved(?) seperately from humans, underground, which is a whole other can of worms with the science behind that. an idea about the "bottomless" pits has to do with physics. at the center of the earth (if it were hollow), you wouldn't feel gravity because it would pull on you equally in all directions. so maybe the bottomless pit really just leads to the center of the earth, and you're not really falling forever, you're just suspended in the center forever lol. not falling, but not hitting the bottom, either

ONTO THE QUESTIONS 🏃‍♀️

The mercenary guild is basically like the underground/illegal version of the adventurer guild, and they'll take any jobs that the adventurer guild won't. Blackmail, assassination, smuggling, you name it. Gem has something of a moral compass, but it isn't exactly the strictest thing in the world. We learn when she meets Mumbo in Grian's wing preening fic that she is on her way to assassinate a noblemans son, and while that is a bit of a wink wink nudge nudge if you can figure out who that son is, exactly, it's still Gem agreeing to kill a teenager who is guilty of little more than pissing off the wrong person. Cruel world and all.

Perhaps that's exactly point? 😌 With Traveling Thieves, I did not set out to make a world that could be resolved or escaped from...the whole point is that it is cruel and inescapable, and the best you can do is continue to protect yourself and those you care about...and even then, you might fail to do that. You might be set up to fail in a sick system that would never give you a chance in the first place. And the best you can do is try to put the pieces back together in the aftermath. I don't want Traveling Thieves to resolve in any traditional sense of the word...for where that'll lead all our various characters, well, you'll have to wait and see. 🤔

Loot that body LOOT THAT BODY NOW 💃

They're like your typical minecraft mobs, they spawn in places with low light levels! We've also got some homebrew monsters that I've come up with, such as the bird-men, that we will be meeting as time goes on. Certain monsters such as zombies do avoid light, but there are plenty of monsters will go above bedrock just like certain monsters in minecraft can survive in the sun, like creepers and endermen. No, they can never be exterminated because of how they spawn!

The pits aren't bottomless, we've seen the bottom after all, where Pearl, Jimmy, and Grian were in the Depths! It is a natural chasm beneath the bedrock, and the various caves and tunnels stretch are incredibly huge and diverse, so while everything connects back to the main cavern of the under-city that's so huge, there are also other caves and tunnels where other groups live that we will be learning about eventually, such as the blaze-born pyres or where Cub is from in the Deep Dark!

It is completely totally 100% ok! I love getting long asks like this that give me the chance to develop and worldbuild the AUs and mention some details that might never really show up within the fics themselves! So by all means send more questions and thoughts! And I'd also love to see the fanarts you mentioned if you still are up to posting them, I can't draw so anything anyone draws that has anything to do with my AUs makes me incredibly happy! 😆

ok. i'm caught up on scarlett doing her clout thing. and i gotta know something. does she maybe think that theo mainly came back to them because he wanted to get DUSTIN back and the family was just a package deal? does she maybe think he would never have come back had it not been for dustin? does she look at Theo and see a guy who mainly got his crap together for the sake of the guy he loved, and less for the children he has already admitted he didn't initially want? because then, it might not matter as much to her that dustin loves him and forgives him. because it would have nothing to do with her. she would be the setback to their great love story that they had to overcome.......which is probably why she went overboard in getting this info out. Like a "HA! I KNEW IT! YOU WERE ALWAYS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT YOU WERE!" and obviously she's never forgiven him and doesn't have to, just because Dustin did. OMG! first of all THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ! you have no idea how much it really means to me that you read about my wee psychos. im honoured seriously. second. BINGO. ding ding motherfucking ding! theos view on his kids havent changed. when he got himself straight he did that for dusty and for dusty only. the kids come with him and as awful as it sounds...his priority is only dustin and i think dustin may push that down just because he loves him but theres gotta be some part of him thats like questioning some things. although theo LOVES the kids he did everything he did for his husband and to get him back. if it werent for dustin i think scarlett knows that theo wouldve been long gone. the things with her specifically are rocky at best. dustins the real saving grace to her [even though she did him pretty dirty too] dustin took her and raised her. theo wasnt present. her mom was too caught up with jami to pay any attention to her. dustin took over and took responsibility for her. and i think although dustin gives his kids a great childhood.she holds a lot of ill will towards her dad because she knows KNOWS he only did this for the love of his life. theo CARES but even now at his age he's kinda just like theyre a little bit of an afterthought. hes still an asshole and hes been like this since he had his first kid with marlee. [hint he has way more kids than he lets on which is why hes on blake so hard and he knows this. theyre all grown now but he sees some repeats going on here with blake and riv and he isnt a fan ] the only kids theo has that were planned are the twins.. and that was for dustin. and for himself a little. they have these kids that bind them now. dustin cant shake him if he wanted to . he loves them . he does. but his patience is thin and hes old so the babies are a little trying for him. . scarlett absolutely doesnt forgive him for leaving. and her mother kind of turning her back on her leans more into that. and youre absolutely right i think she does look at dustin like what was wrong with our lives before he came back and whys he here? he just doesnt give a fuck . and dustins devils advocate here. he can make up for what theo lacks but i think scarlett wants her dad to be present himself. dustin can only do so much. i think dustin and theo are still working through a lot of things themselves. in dustins mind hed want theo to be more involved but he also knows theos just kind of MEH and theo is also just kind of a shitty person. and always has been. and although hes made some strides here nothing much has changed in regards to his views on kids for sure.
