I've been staring at this picture for a while now (I'm not obsessed you are) and I literally just noticed there's someone on Vi's left.

Seriously, I thought it was just these four that made up their team -

And then out of nowhere there was suddenly a 5th member in the picture.

They completely snuck up on me.

For a full second, I was trying to figure out how Arcane added an additional team member to the picture. What kind of dark arcane are they using over there at Fortiche?

But, nope, they were always there; I just didn't see them somehow.

After seeing the s2 arcane trailer, there are two ways I think Jinx and Sevika working together could go. One, Sevika attempts to (gruffly) take Jinx under her wing. Two, Sevika attempts to manipulate her.

I do think that despite everything, Sevika does have some degree of sympathy for Jinx. My main piece of evidence for this the scene where she gives Silco parenting advice.

She admits to having her own daddy issues, which is why I think that even though she'll probably be glad to have Silco out of the way, she might be more inclined to empathize with Jinx after the s1 finale.

The other possibility is mainly based on the fact that Sevika is willing to do anything for Zaun's freedom. And the fact that the interrogation scene shows that she's not above manipulating a mentally ill teenager.

Although she was unsuccessful, I think Silco's death would definitely give her more ammo against Jinx. If Sevika tells her "this is what Silco would want" she'll do it.

Having typed this all out, I think it's probably more likely that the writers will go with a mix of these two scenarios.

Yeah, I've been spiralling about Arcane 2 since the trailer came out as well. I have so many thoughts but one of the theories i wanted to share that i havent seen yet is the line "my sister is gone".

After watching the trailer for the umpteenth time, i feel like it was not Vi coming to terms with who Jinx was but a more physical response to jinx's location.

I think she was on a mission to go find jinx (maybe the last scene was actually from that mission early on in the season) and something happens where Jinx disappears.

She has moved her base away, she got away and now no one can track her. So vi has come back to Piltover, probably to Cait, and is reporting by saying," My sister is gone."

I also think that the final (ish) mega battle would be with the Noxus Army, in a way where Jinx and Vi are forced to work together against a common enemy. What brings them closer could be the discovery of Warwick and how it might be Vander, and the two sisters need to deal with that information together.

I have so many theories, idk if im making sense anymore.

I also dont think jinx, vi or cait will die. I believe Jinx is either going to use the gemstone to teleport herself somewhere or she's going to be exiled somewhere. Or she leaves on her own accord, bidding a final goodbye to Vi, almost like," See you around".

Also, I'm almost 95% sure that Cassandra Kiramman and Mel are dead.

Okay so the teaser basically confirms that Orianna is Singed’s daughter. Like, the music box playing in the background and the sound of a clock ticking while he looks down at the locket that contains a photo of her, most definitely thinking of her. I wonder what age the writers are going to put her at. Her LoR redesign makes her look quite a lot older than her Lol design. Maybe they’ll put her about Jinx and Ekko’s age (physically. No clue how old they’d want to put her mentally)? Around that 15-17 mark? Kind of that middle ground where she isn’t freshly out of pre-teens but also not an adult. There’s like a red string board in my mind with “machine herald��, “Orianna”, “Singed”, “Orianna’s dad”, “clockwork”, “Ekko’s melee weapon is a clock hand”, “firelights”, “reject societal norms”, the “I thought you’d understand” “I understand now” exchange, and like a dozen and a half other things pinned to it. Also Convergence had Orianna’s dad as a character, and while I may be thinking to hard into this, maybe Riot wanted us to be freshly reminded of that story line for a reason.

Don’t know if it “confirms it” outright, but the signs are certainly all there. I remember the exchange with Corin in Convergence, and it could definitely work, if they were trying to remind us all of him/his connection. TBH my knowledge of Orianna is severely lacking, I really just know what I’ve managed to soak up through Twitter osmosis. But if we’ve learned one thing, it’s that the Arcane team is very liberal with the hints and Easter eggs. And all of those things you listed certainly do seem to be intentionally nodding at something.

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge, but does Orianna’s story tie into Viktor’s? I know that she’s heavily modded/entirely robotic now, but that’s pretty much all I know. Does she have some sort of inspiration for Viktor or vice versa?

What if Viktor asked Jayce to kill him. It is clear that being in the Arcane completely reconfigures your time and space reality. I think Jayce not only saw what happened if the arcane continued to affect people, but got stuck in a time loop where he tried and failed over and over to prevent Viktor from being a vessel to it, and this is the reality where he succeeded.

This would explain why he is so consumed with rage, along with repeating “this time I won’t miss” before killing him. If I was stuck in what felt like a futile time loop where I have to prevent an unpredictable and dangerous cosmic force I’d be seething too??

Also explains why Viktor didn’t stop Jayce from killing him. He probably realized what happened after acknowledging that Jayce wasn’t himself and that maybe in another timeline he asked Jayce to stop this. Whatever the cost.

Okay so on Arcanetwt people are talking about how cool her mullet is and all but nobody’s acknowledging that this is basically confirmation for a timeskip? Like that amount of hair doesn’t grow overnight.

That’s least a year of growth, and that’s assuming she doesn’t cut it. It could be another 6+ year timeskip for all we know.

Caitlyn, i believe is going to be used by Ambessa to push forward her agenda. Ambessa definitely wants revenge over Zaun because like i said previously, i believe Mel to be dead.

But it is also a factor that Noxians love to conquer, they are known for it as far as i have researched. So I believe Ambessa will try to rule over both Piltover and Zaun.

And she will use Caitlyn's rage, fuel it to further her plans. Caitlyn might be manipulated for a while in this season, whenever she falters, be it be her humanity or compassion coming forth when Zaunites are hunted like crazy as she leads the charges or if she sees Vi go through breakdowns regarding Jinx. Ambessa is going to make it seem like Cait is a failure for letting emotions come into play.

And whenever Vi would try to interfere, and make Cait see reason at some points, its gradually going to make it seem like Vi is protecting Zaun. And thats going to cause so many issues with CaitVi ( Imma cry at this, why are they doing this to us).

and i think this is all in the beginning. Because I do think there would be a time skip (also taking into factor the Annecy spoilers). The more Cait becomes obsessed with finding Jinx, the more she would push Vi away. At one point, Vi is going to leave.

Before leaving, i do think Vi might try to find Jinx one last time, in hopes that it would end this. I dont think it works out and that might make Cait lash out even more.

Like it was said in the sneak-peaks, vi isnt accepted in either Zaun or Piltover. So she becomes a street fighter, trying to feel something. it might be Cait who tracks her down and somehow convinces her to come back.

The thing i cannot place is if Vi becomes an enforcer after or before the timeskip. both theories work kinda well but in different ways.

Maybe both of these things happens after the time skip even? Vi is already an enforcers when Cait becomes obsessed and she leaves for Zaun. And when she comes back, she resumes her place as an enforcer.

the more i think, the more i cannot understand what my brain is trying to piece together.

If Vi is made to come back as an enforcer to Cait, I think she would ask for a few people she's made friends with to be on the team as well. Not everyone on Cait's team look like Pilties. So maybe Vi made connections during her time as an underground fighter and brings in people who she thinks would help them reach their goal.

Another theory that i've been toying with is that, perhaps, Vi never actually abandons her search for Jinx. I think even when she's literally GOING THROUGH IT and hallucinating Cait and is trying her best to cope, she is constantly keeping tabs on Jinx and everything that going on in Zaun. She's collecting evidence and leads (might even be sending it anonymously to Cait or someone she trusts in Piltover) until the time is right to strike.

MAYBEEEE (im getting more theories as i write wtf) jinx and Vi stay in touch during her fighter era. This could've happened after the entire Warwick reveal and the sisters having to be cordial situation , or something to together for like i mentioned in my previous theory post. So Jinx and Vi might be trying to track Warwick or see who's behind all of it, how to keep Noxus out of Zaun (and Piltover). so this might be mid Act 2 or early Act 3.
