As for Lif/Thrasir, I hate to disappoint, but... I am incredibly uncomfortable with them in any romantic capacity. Yeah, they're both adults at this point, but for me I think it's all about the context in which two people meet for the first time. What stage of life they were at. Which colors what their relationship will look like going forward.

But from a platonic perspective, I find their dynamic to be incredibly fascinating. I think their relationship is way more compelling this way, actually. Where there is this deep, intimate knowledge between them and emotional dependency on each other. Each being the only one who can fully understand their situation. Same boat, looong history together. But both of them are trying to fill a gap. Both of them are aching and grieving their other halves (in this case, each respective dead sibling). But Veronica isn't Sharena, and Alfonse isn't Bruno. Both of them know this. Both of them know that in the eyes of the other, neither will ever measure up or take their place. How could you ever replace a sibling? You can't. Lovers and partners come and go. So do friends. You can have friends, that feel like family. Someone, who feels like home. But you can't quite replace the person you grew up with (or, in Veronica's case -- someone she desperately wishes she had the chance to grow up with). The person you looked after, the person you looked up to.

You could, feasibly, blur the lines there. But for me, it goes back to the context in which they first met. I feel like, it would have some really uncomfortable implications about Alfonse, if he, as Lif, did end up in a romantic relationship with Thrasir. And I'm not saying you can't explore that... but what I am saying, is, the way I see it. There's no way Lif and Thrasir could have a romantic relationship that isn't too many flavors of fucked up for me LMFAOO 😅

Imagine the way Zhongli chuckle and the way his lips form a bitter smile afterwards nevertheless, he agreed to you and eventually excuse himself. Leaving you all alone in the harbor, all waiting for the Traveller and not him. But it's alright, one way or another, he deserves this.

Imagine as Zhongli walks away from you, you stare at him and as you do so. He looks so lonely. But then you blink as a harsh breeze passes by, turning your look into the horizon, the sun was peacefully setting. How beautiful yet it left a bitter taste in your mouth in which you soon ignore.

Imagine, it's not like he did not think about it. But back then, the best choice was to kill you. But after hearing what you said, he starts to doubt if he did perhaps made a mistake, leaving regrets behind. After all, you were right. A world were he couldn't embrace you when you were right in front of him was like a living hell.

some things re: ruby i've been thinking about

we have an entire episode in s1 (2005) about how someone cannot touch their past self or bad things happen so how could the woman who left her at the church be an older her

unless she's not entirely human? and maybe the rules are different about different species? idk

the doctor has mentioned their own children / family multiple times in just these six episodes -- telling ruby about susan in the devil's chord, repeatedly saying "dad to dad" to the anglican in boom, etc.

ruby and the doctor's stories mirror each other when it comes to their childhoods, abandoned and adopted. but in flux when the doctor confronts tecteun they say "what if i wasn't abandoned, what if someone was waiting to come pick me up." what if there's more to the doctor's story, the doctor's race, the doctor's home that we do not know about. what if it has to do with ruby.

if the woman who left ruby at the church is an older her, we still don't know who she is or where she comes from

He would be so worried about you while you are on your period, especially if you are in a lot of pain. He would do just about anything to make sure he can take that away from you. Maybe he would use his powers to mentally take that pain away and replace it with more feelings of comfort and warmth.

He would get you the best herbal supplements to soothe any cramping you might be experiencing, and would absolutely buy the best chocolate and pastries in Valeris for you. He would probably buy out the entire bakery just for you.

He takes the time while you are on your period off so he can dote on you, making sure you stay hydrated and are resting well. He would cuddle with you hours upon hours, softly rubbing your sore back or belly and pressing in kisses to your cheeks.

Azriel

Omggg Azriel. I think he is one of the best ACOTAR mates, like I genuinely cannot wait for his book. So loving and attentive this male is, he knows weeks before that you are about to get your period.

He absolutely notices the small shift in your scent, a little bit deeper and more rich than it usually is. He can feel the microscopic widening of your hips, and can tell that your breasts are slightly heavier than usual. So he prepares weeks in advance for your period.

He has the best warming pack for you ready the second you start your period. He has your favorite books picked out so he can read them to you while you rest on his chest, his wing wrapped around you keeping you warm. He has salves for your belly that will soothe any ache almost instantly. He goes into extensive research mode looking for the best foods and best drinks to have while you are on your period, the foods and drinks that will relieve your pain the most and make you the most comfortable.

IDK about you, but while I am on my period, I get hot and cold flashes. I think his illyrian heat and cuddles have you covered for any cold flashes. But hot flashes??? His shadows are always leaving cool whispered touches across your sweaty skin. They love playing with you in general, but when you are on your period, they are running smooth strokes all over your body to cool you down.

Recently, I have been feeling some type of way for this male. I don't think he would realize until the day of that you are starting your period, but omg would he take the best care of you.

He would insist you take the day off and relax. I have a secret hunch that Cassian is actually an amazing chef. IDK I could totally see him having his own apron and chefs hat and just whipping up the most nutritious and delicious meal for you. He would also make you smoothies using the freshest fruit so you are getting some fiber and extra vitamins that you need during this time.

He would absolutely give you the best massages in the world, rubbing out all the knots all over your body because of course, he would insist on a full body massage. "I have to do it all baby, holistic medicine, you know?"

I think Cassian would keep you entertained the entire time you are relaxing. You just have the most fun with him, he is absolutely the funniest male who has the best stories to share about his past. And I know he would tell you all while absentmindedly rubbing your belly and pressing occasional kisses into your skin.

Oh my god, my absolute favorite male. I am so weak for him y'all.

Okay, I mean. Eris is the best mate. Objectively, Subjectively, he is the best mate.

Whenever you are on your period, he takes you to the your shared cottage at the seaside so he can take care of you there without any interruptions.

His youngest hound is always guarding you. The hound might also be very spoiled too. These hounds are not supposed to sneak into your bed to cuddle with you. They are absolutely not supposed to do that. Absolutely not.

But they do. They absolutely sneak into your bed and lay their heads onto your belly and act kinda as a warming pack for you, but a lot more cuddly and cute. They may or may not get in trouble when Eris finds you in bed, fully passed out, limbs spread all over with his hound also napping peacefully with his head on your belly instead of protecting you. Eh, Eris is soft for his hounds, the young hound is probs getting a roasted piece of chicken after he sends the pup out of the room.

His warm hands rubbing all over your belly as you two chat about your day and what you did. What books you read and how you watched the storm in the distance. And he would tell you about his day for the first ten minutes of your conversation before he transitions to gushing about you. Whats knew?

His "secret" stash of chocolate suddenly belongs to you when you get your period. And these are like top tier, melt in your mouth type chocolates that are made by the best chocolatiers in Prythian. They all belong to you. And I think he would go out of his way to figure out your favorites amongst his stash so he can have some made for you personally.

He also makes the best cinnamon cider tea. It really helps alleviate some of the more extra symptoms you experience during your period and you literally feel almost entirely normal after you finish drinking it. Very soothing and also very refreshing!

omg Luc. I just know he absolutely adores every inch of you and hates when you are in any sort of pain or discomfort.

He builds a cuddle pile of the softest pillows and blankets in a balcony in Day Court that overlooks the entire city, but is hidden from prying eyes. It has a bed attached to the ceiling, that swings with the wind, and so he has you resting there so that you can get the fresh air and sunlight.

He snuggles with you all day, running his fingers through your hair and stroking your aching back. He would read you poems or sonnets from the books that he picked up from the Day Court libraries. I think he would pick the books because they are more on the romantic side, and basically he wants to woo you even though you have been mates for years.

I think he would run you a warm bath that is scented with lavender and jasmine tonic. Its properties relax any of your tightened muscles, and provide this soft buzz or tingle to your skin that leaves you feeling very refreshed. He would also absolutely wash your hair for you, massaging your scalp at the same time. He would be so gentle and careful to not get any tangles, and would take his time with a double wash if you needed one.

I like to think Lucien is the kind of mate who would literally hand feed you fruits. He seems like the kind of male who would have grapes lifted up in the air for you to bite into. He already worships the ground you walk on so I wouldn't put it past him.

Anyway I’m a biomed class where unit 1 is studying medical investigations forensic science style

and one of the things is like, what happens to a person after the body has been dead for a while (post mortem or sum, see im learning :D)

Things like algor mortis, livor mortis, I’ve heard of. In fact I’ve even studied the clouding of the corneas before, but it never got to me till today

maybe it’s cause I cannot for the life of me study forensics without my wild imagination giving me nightmares or just panicking when I’m alone but aNyWays

I tend to imagine characters associated with death in these scenarios so I don’t lose it in class💀

So as I was taking notes on the slideshow, some of the images of clouded corneas reminded me strangely of something familiar, but at that point I couldn’t tell. There’s something haunting about the eyes (or maybe it’s just my over-analytical brain loving small details like this) they’re GORGEOUS

and I can imagine algor mortis kicked in by then, her body was probably cold to the touch

so imagine how he felt, and I’m aware people have analyzed his emotions but just think about it

he’s always seen her so full of life and hope, and now all he has left is an empty shell of her, cold and dead with no life left inside

the more I think about it Hanako is just an animated corpse

he has no reflection in his eyes most of the time because he is ✨dead✨

I mean Mei, Mitsuba, and Hanako don’t have a little white reflection dot like Nene and Kou

Or maybe I’m overthinking it and Nene’s eyes are just super reflective

even for someone who presumably took his own life, he probably never saw tsukasa’s body start postmortem and actually feel dead bc it looked extremely bloody ngl (I’m guessing he killed himself right after 💔)

and now he’s holding someone he cares about like this for the first time and I’ll bet that scarred him

and he figured out that never, never ever did he ever want to see his sweet assistant like this again, lifeless in his arms

and so after that, cue Hanako in his villain era who basically became a yandere the entire picture perfect lmao

and he was unbelievably adamant about it too

I mean honestly if I held anybody I knew lifeless like that I’d be scarred for life and crying for days

seeing the light drained from someone’s eyes is so interestingly sad to me

a character I grew to love I'd say Mouse. I think the thing about Mouse is simply that we didn't get to the next part of her story, so she's In Potentia permanently. I also think it was a slight misstep to ground her in a past will-they-won't-they with Marcus, because it puts her into that fatal position of "oh so she's just a love interest after all" vs giving her her own journey, BUT! HOWEVER! She does have her own journey! very much so in fact! it's just that that wig Ben Daniels had in the flashbacks was fucking atrocious and you were maybe more interested in the current-day stuff on first watch but then on second watch she really came into her own for me, especially everything she was doing with Bennett! I wish we'd had more of them doing Stuff together! I wish we could have seen her and Tomas properly bonding!!!!!!!!!

my anti otp um. dunno really. Marcus and the wig. I wasn't necessarily compelled by Marcus and Mouse romantically either, I will say, but her hero-worshipping him and misreading it a certain way (she was a young nun, he was a mysterious exorcist), that I can get behind, especially since present-day Mouse is so Capable and Jaded, we like that journey for her

Anyway... that fucking show. forever in my mind. forever hurting my soul. forever waiting for a third season. forever recommending it because even without a full ending it's so so satisfying!

It's been 11 years. 11 painfully long years since he's seen his raven-haired roommate who he had gained feelings for so..so very long ago.

Overwatch was the last place in existence he expected for him and his long time crush to meet once more, and when he did, he wanted to reach out to her so badly. Wanted to embrace her in his arms just like he did all those years ago.

But how could he? After he left her for 11 years, “do you even..remember him?” Niran thought as he stared longingly at his old roommate from across overwatch's lab.

“if you knew all i've done.? The things i cannot change..would you love me all the same?”

What was he thinking. It's been 11 years. And he never even got to confess. So his love for her never even reached her ear. He has a target on his head in 17 countries, why would she ever love him back..?

He smiled sadly, looking back down at the floor as he put his hands in a fist, regretting his past actions as tears threatened to spill. His mind getting cloudier and cloudier with negative thoughts.

Satya sat down next to the cream haired male, awkwardly shifting around her seat trying to find a proper place to sit. One where it isnt too close or too far from her past roommate.

AITA for getting revenge for my kids?

So I (2000ish, x) have an adopted brother (2000ish, m). We're not technically siblings but I call him my brother (even though I'm lowkey closer with his oldest son these days).

Anyways, I'm married with two kids (a third from before the marriage, but he was... peculiar... and I don't like talking about him. That's an AITA for another day). However, I admit I may not be the most loyal spouse (brother can't comment on this, he's worse than me). Anyways, long story short, I meet someone, and we end up having three kids together. I choose not to tell the family. This works fine for a while. Suddenly, when they're young adults, brother hears this "prophecy" that I had these kids, and that they're going to end the world??

Now, I love my brother, but he is SCARY. So ofc, when I hear he's looking for my kids, I hide them. Unfortunately, he found them, and took them from me. Two of them he locked in some form of eternal torment, but one of his friends decided he wanted to keep the third. Eventually the third got thrown into eternal torment too. Of course I was mad, but he insisted that we brush past this??

Anyways, here's where I may be TA. Brother has a lot of kids. Like, A LOT a lot. Of these are two twins (1200ish, m). The older of these two (let's call him Bee) is absolutely brother's favorite child. Everyone in the family treats Bee like he's a divine gift to humanity (he technically is but that's beside the point). Anyways, Bee starts getting these "horrible nightmares" about how he's going to die soon (he's 1200, you'd think he'd have grown out of it 😭😭😭). SIL (his mom) decides that this simply CANNOT BE, and this tragedy SIMPLY MUST BE AVERTED. So instead of, idk, TELLING HIM THAT DREAMS AREN'T REAL, she goes and MAKES HIM IMMORTAL?? Like, just like that. However, she does leave out a weakness to one specific plant. This is important I swear.

Anyways, the family has a party (not, like, Thanksgiving style party. More like get-blackout-drunk-and-maybe-do-crime party) (these parties could lead to MANY more AITAs). This time, since Bee is newly immortal, everyone is having fun throwing sharp objects at him. However, his twin brother is blind, and can't participate because of that. Anyways, I MAY have made a small dart out of the only plant Bee is weak to, and guided his brother's hand to make sure he hit him, and Bee fucking dies.

Everyone loses their minds, screaming, general panic. Somehow no one notices me, but they do notice the other twin. And one of their shared brothers fucking MURDERS HIM FOR IT?? LIKE ON THE SPOT??

Anyways, it's been a while since this happened, but Brother is not over it, still trying to find ways to bring Bee back to life, etc. I get that he's mourning his son, but I don't see why he should be allowed to see his sons if I'm not allowed to see mine (and my daughter). i've been working on this multiverse called swapinverse (you may have seen some teaser posts from me recently :3 it's what i've been grinding out) and in this multiverse it's basically like one character does what another character does while keeping their own elements and having completely different reasons and backstories and stuff and rn i have 8 characters to be done:

savior (dust!killer), mania (horror!dust), paranoia (killer!horror), tint&shade (ink!dream & ink!nightmare), siphon (corrupt nightmare!ink), crash (error!cross)

AND FINALLY vice.SER. a CORE frisk!error. who i have no idea what i'm gonna do. i have a few ideas and i SERIOUSLY cannot pick so (even though i wanted to keep swapinverse a secret) im asking 4 ur help in deciding what i wanna do 😕😕 basically pick the best idea (THESE ARE JUST BASIC CONCEPTS WITH NO DEPTH I HAVE MORE DETAILS THAN THIS) and any suggestions

backstory idea 1: geno/error (unsure of which) falls into the core and gets scattered across spacetime like corefrisk does. this one has issues because corefrisk only exists because of the reset button and geno/error dont have reset despite having determination. also it feels a bit uncreative compared to the others that i have planned (oh the lore for swapinverse characters are SO INTERESTING AHAHAHAH)

backstory idea 2: geno is experimenting with determination and transports himself into the antivoid and his last thoughts before errorfying are something something along the lines of blaming the human (connects with goal idea 3)

goal idea 1: IF idea 1 happens then geno (i think this would be more geno deviating than error so is it REALLY corefrisk!error or just corefrisk!geno) helps other genocide survivors by bringing them to the antivoid/void/omega timeline IDK

goal idea 1.5: other possibility for idea 2 is instead of having pure intentions like idea 2 says, vice.SER is kinda like a villian and corrupting characters by glitching them out in the antivoid and then having that army kill all humans in the multiverse (THIS IS SO DRAMATIC but these are all just possible ideas)

goal idea 2: vice.SER is unpredictable and sometimes decides to be a humanitarian (helping people like in idea 2) and then other days he could be deciding to take over the multiverse. this ideas fun because im kinda struggling to decide if i want vice.SER to do good or bad things (and also the mst haven't met each other and aren't involved in the multiverse so i kinda want him to be the one to drag them into multiversal shenanigans)

idea 3: vice.SER is going around bringing geno survivors and timelines that have gone through genos (since geno has the ability to give back memories to people BUT i have to finish rereading aftertale to see if he keeps this power at the end) and reminding them of the genos theyve been though (for those that dont remember) and he's doing this all in the hopes of going against the players/creators and breaking free from the scripts and plots that we give them

so yeah those are my backstory/goal ideas for vice.SER so far :3 elements i wanna be SURE to keep is geno/error origins, bringing people into a space like CORE does (antivoid or void or omega timeline doesn't matter ill make it work) or if NOT bringing people to spaces then maybe omnisight/presence like CORE (but canon error already kinda has omnisight since he can see the scripts/codes and that's kinda like seeing the past/present/future like omnisight gives you

I have to talk abt this as this has been in my mind for months and this i think is the only safe space to talk abt the fandom and their weird antics towards the characters/actors and overall games.Im not against criticism but theres a line between criticizing and going overboard with hating.

One thing i dont understand abt the god of war fandom is that they complain about alot of things not being “accurate” and thats doesnt make sense to me bc when has gow ever been accurate? I thought it was obvious from the beginning that SMS wasnt going for that and never truly will. Its always their own interpretation. They also have this weird hatred / ignorance towards atreus that i also dont understand? Yea he was a little annoying in the first game but thats understandable as hes… a kid. Ragnarok expanded his character pretty well imo and i feel like alot of these people for some reason cannot get past him in general? Maybe because they are afraid of him taking over the series and “forgetting” kratos (idk why thats in their minds LOL) or they just hate him just because. I feel like the fandom wants kratos to forever be this god who destroys things and whatnot and its all so weird. like they never gave him a chance. thankfully he has fans but majority hates him. Dont even get me started on how they treat angrboda. Its really so ridiculous to me that they can be so hateful for no true reason. they call her a bitch for yelling at atreus when all the women in the game get annoyed or disappointed in him atleast once. And they dont understand that she has only known this prophecy shit for her whole life and she couldnt do anything outside bc of the threat. ofc shes angry bro LOLL its also in her name like i dont understand 😭.  Atreus helps her get out of that mindset and assures her she can do whatever she wants now. Laya is so strong idk how she does it :( I also noticed they treat thrud as this “replacement” of angrboda bc they dont like her either cuz shes black or bc they hate her and everything related to atreus but as long as he has a character they can like thats not angrboda its fine. Its all so weird bc theres no competition between the two. There never was. I dont think they actually like thrud for her character they just want to be weirdos and i feel kinda bad for her and mina bc they really dont give a fuck. Im so shocked chris sunny and others even INTERACT with this bullshit of a fandom they are all really strong bc id say fuck all of you and go 😭 im not against criticism at all and i try not to take this shit seriously but its hard when you see a insane group of people take alot of this shit to the next level. this fandom is a bunch of whiny babies who hold onto their precious destroyer too much. The hate everyone has gotten recently is just so stupid and they often times try to make it their goal to hate. I see that SMS is trying to diverge their fandom to a broader audience and they are taking a bit more risks esp with atreus and i love that despite the backlash against him, they continued with his character regardless. I hope they do the same thing with the other characters as well and expand them no matter how much these people want to hate and act all high and mighty. I can understand certain critiques like the ending being too fast or maybe they couldve done blah blah better and whatnot but i think alot of people are overreacting and being ridiculously nitpicky with alot of things when it comes to ragnarok. 

Last thing and also kinda random thing SMS is very wrong for what they did to TC Carson and i acknowledge that completely and i hope they never do smth like that to any of the current cast either bc i would be fucking pissed if so LOL

Firstly, I am still very very confused about what has happened and I’m also a bit ill so that’s not helping. I had fully accepted that Martin was going to Ducati, Marc was going to Pramac/staying with Gresini and that Enea was going to somewhere, most likely Aprilia, going into Mugello and now it’s just not happening? Like what?

About Jorge not going to Ducati: I prefer Marc and Enea to Jorge, I want to make that clear. However, I just cannot understand how and why they would go back on their word (again) to a rider who has consistently performed for them. I read the italian rumour about him arguing with Gigi, and I can honestly see that being true because Martin doesn’t know how to shut up when it’s good for him, and I think the team was looking for any excuse to not give him the ride. They’ve now lost a rider, and probably two, but it’s fine because I suppose they’re getting the biggest asset on the grid right?

About Marc to Ducati: Honestly do not know what to say. Happy for him, he deserves a bike to be fighting for the championship again after everything that’s happened to him in the last 4 years but I’m not gonna pretend that I’m overjoyed about it. Maybe it’s because I feel a bit blindsided rn and it’ll come round but it’s so confusing. It makes sense after his comments about Pramac on Thursday, but to have this quick a turnaround is crazy. However, I hope if he is confirmed for 2024, then he wins the championship with ease next year to show everyone how it *should* be done on that dominant a bike.

About Martin to Aprilia: As an aprilia fan, I gotta say I had a feeling about Martin coming to the team since the start of the year and I’m conflicted. As a rider, he is obviously fantastic and I have no doubts about him delivering results for the team, but we all know how he is as a person and I’m sorry but I just personally cannot look past it until there is clear proof of change. It kind of makes me sad, as I’ve been supporting this team since I started watching in 2020 and idk, if Maverick goes then I may have to abandon my entire blog’s personality (rip) but if not then idk maybe I’ll act like 1/2 the team exists like I do with Ducati rn. That being said, if he brings the number one plate to Aprilia I will be laughing into next year, but I don’t think it will happen now.

Also side note on this solely for the announcement video: I have to say I cackled when watching the video and saw Aleix holding the door open for Martin, it looked more like Aleix forced him in as a hostage rather than by choice but whatever. I’d convinced myself the aprilia announcement was a maverick extension and aprilia were being opportunists but I literally screamed when I saw Jorge like the announcement post and watched the video 😭

About the Enea rumours: genuinely what the fuck. I want him to stay in the Ducati family, idk where or on what bike but it just feels right. KTM would be a good option though, and of course unless Maverick signs between now and Assen, there’s still space at Aprilia so who knows? Also cause I didn’t read, are the rumours Enea to GasGas or the factory, because if its the factory then we have to do all this again with Brad so… honestly idk but he should get a good seat somewhere. I love Enea and it’s a shame factory ducati hasn’t worked for him but sometimes that’s unfortunately how it goes and hopefully he’ll shine somewhere else.

That’s all I guess, it’s been a fucking crazy monday and I hope silly season doesn’t get even worse (not sure how it could unless pecco pulls a rosberg suddenly retires at the end of the year or some random shit). But yeah, I tried to order these as best I can because my mind is literally just open drawers and disorganised files rn so thank you for reading that post and asking 😭
