Tumblr media
yaay ! ooh okay, purple anon then <3 (i took so long to write this that i js realized it prolly seemed random to any1 else that youre 💜 anon 😭 IM SORRY) it's nice to see you again :D and of course :O i'll do my best cw! nightmares?? idk just a little panicky at the beginning featuring giyuu and his forcefully adopted siblings, and no particular timeline lmfao... also this is short argh
It must be strange for a Hashira to get nightmares. But then again, they had all faced so many horrors, it would be even more pecuilar if they didn't experience them. Even so, Giyuu felt childish. Waking up in a pool of cold sweat, mind racing with the flashes of blood and deattached limbs strewn about. His chest heaved as he desperately drew in air, trying to catch his breath. He pressed a hand to his fast-beating heart, pushing gently, trying to control it. He hated it. He hated the nights when he was given a break from his duties to rest. It seemed to always end up like this.
As he slowly lowered himself back down, his dream came back to him in full force and replayed in his mind, no matter how much he tried to force it away. Panic rose in him again and he shot back up, almost toppling out of the bed, his arm hitting the wooden floor loudly. He flinched, though he was glad for it as it distracted his thoughts from his dream and he focused on making sure he hadn't broken his wrist (which, of course, he hadn't, but it was a better thought than the ones that threatened to take over).
There was a pattering of footsteps and he tensed, hand straying to the katana that sat by his futon. Then Tanjiro and Nezuko entered the room and he relaxed slightly. He had nearly forgotten.
They were staying over at his house tonight, having been too far from any Wisteria Houses after Tanjiro's mission. They must've heard Giyuu's distress because now they were all bunched up under his blanket, snuggling closer to him. Giyuu decided to let them stay, finding the warmth of their presence comforting.
"Are you okay, Giyuu-san?" Tanjiro asked quietly, after everyone had adjusted.
Giyuu nodded slowly. "Ye-ep," he mumbled, internally slapping himself at the crack in his voice.
"We heard you fall, or something, and got worried. Also it was dreadfully cold alone," Tanjiro hummed, scooting closer and wrapping his arms tightly around Giyuu without a care in the world.
Momentarily, Giyuu tensed, unsure how to take this sudden bit of affection. Yes, they had abruptly slipped into his bed, but he wasn't used to this, it had been so long. He didn't even realize he was crying until Nezuko's sillhouette appeared above him as she gazed at him, eyes tense with worry and scrubbing at his cheeks with the sleeve of her kimono. Giyuu flushed, embarrassed. In his shock, he must've let down his guard. God, he had to pull himself together!
Tanjiro, noticing now, tightened the embrace, burying his head in Giyuu's chest. "Don't cry, Giyuu-san. Do you want me to sing you a song? I used to sing lullabies for my younger siblings," he said, his words muffled by fabric.
Giyuu gave a start. A lullaby? "No... No, I'm okay," he said, voice thick. He cleared his throat several times, tugging Nezuko back down and wrapping and arm around her almost protectively. "It's okay."
Tanjiro's head popped back up to look at him. "You sure? It's not bothering us, if that's what-"
"No," Giyuu repeated, nudging him back down. "I'm fine. I'm sorry."
Tanjiro frowned slightly but settled back under the covers. "Okay. Did something happen earlier? Or did you just hit something?" he asked, after a moment of silence.
"I had a... dream. And I sat up too quickly and... yeah," Giyuu said, trailing off. He didn't really want Tanjiro to know him in his weak moments. This was embarrassing enough.
"Was it a nightmare?" Tanjiro asked.
Giyuu hesitated before answering. Tanjiro didn't sound mocking, at least. Well, yeah, he was Tanjiro... but still. "You can call it that, I suppose," he mumbled, tucking his chin down to his chest.
Nezuko, who had fallen asleep at some point, nuzzled closer, her form shrinking slightly and fitting into Giyuu's arm like a little bundle. A smile softened Giyuu's lips, though nobody could see it, and he held her close, wishing he had met the Kamados in any other circumstance.
"It's okay to have nightmares," Tanjiro said quietly, as if sensing Giyuu's reluctance. "I have them too, sometimes. Everyone has them and being a Demon Slayer basically guarantees nightmares—it's like it comes as part of the job. So don't feel bad!"
Giyuu mulled on this. It was probably true. Nevertheless, he still felt like shit about it. If he was a so-called Hashira, shouldn't he be able to fend off something as stupid as nightmares?
"Okay," he said anyway, wanting to please Tanjiro. he paused, a thought occurring to him. "How often do you have them?"
Tanjiro shifted, not answering for a minute. "It's not really... consistent? They just come and go," he said quietly, reaching over Giyuu to cup Nezuko's hand in his own.
"Oh." Giyuu glanced down. Tanjiro's eyes were closed but he was still awake, slowly tilting to the edge of sleep. "If you... want to talk about them? You can come to me. If you want."
Tanjiro's eyes opened by a breath and he smiled at Giyuu's vague direction. "Thank you, Giyuu-san. You can talk to me too. About anything," he murmured, closing his eyes again.
Giyuu lifted his hand, running it through Tanjiro's short hair. "Okay," he said again, closing his own eyes and resting back against the pillow.
Their quiet breaths became the only sound in the tranquility of the room, slowly pacing into sleep. This would become almost a habit, talking quietly to one another when Tanjiro visited until the conversation lulled into a gentle slumber—the warmth of other presence comforting them until they could finally relax.

Okay The Hashira taking care of a half human half demon baby? Like the baby can survive on human food and animals and are repulsed by human blood. Like the babies basically are found trying to explore new things like Nezuko in a way

Shinjuro held you in the air and examined you. Kyojuro left you with his father while he and senjuro went to the market.
Leaving you with a former Hashira wasn't a good idea in hindsight but who would kill a child.
"Half human half demon huh?" He muttered to himself as he watched you move in his arms.
He lowered you to where you were nestled on his chest and he laid back.
Shinjiro and kyojuro came back to see you and their father asleep on the floor in your room.
-------
Giggles could be heard in the Tengen ousehold as it was dinner time.
Tengen was rolling on the floor with you as the girls made dinner.
"Hope the both of you worked up an appetite." Hina came in giggling at her husband on his back with you on his stretched-out feet.
"Ahh lord Tengen you have to be careful with them. They're just a child." Suma came in fusing over to pick you up
-------
Obanai didn't know how to take care of a child so he went to the closest person he knew, Mitsuri.
"Aww look how cute Obanai they eat human food." She gushed as she feed you.
Obanai watched in adoration as he couldn't help but think about how good she is with kids (people in general)
"Cool." Such a shallow response that held back everything he actually wanted to say.
If only he could tell her. (😭)
-------
"What am I supposed to do with you." Sanemi muttered as you crawled all over your temporary bedroom (a small room he didn't know what to do with).
"what do you eat?" He kneeled down to your height. You crawled up to him, using his knees to try and stand.
He poked your stomach causing you to lose balance and fall. You stared up at him, He stared down at you.
you started to huff.
'oh no' the thought 'they're gonna cry'
and cry you did. You screamed your lungs out as he tried everything to calm you down. He even tried to feed you his blood, which only made you scream louder.
He got you to calm down by giving you Ohagi. Turns out you love it almost as much as he does.
------
"Time to go to bed Y/n." Giyuu said as he watched you play with your toys for like two hours.
You turned to him before giggling. Unfortunately for Giyuu, you knew how to run. You stood up and got ready for an unwanted game of tag and hide n seek.
"Don't even try, It's time for bed." Giyuu also got ready as this isn't the first time this happened.
In fact, this happens most nights and Giyuu is always the winner.
You ran out of the room with Giyuu close behind you. You rounded the corner at full speed. Too much speed. You hit the wall. Giyuu was quick to pick you up.
"This is why we don't run in the house." He comforted you by rubbing your head and bringing you to your room. You were asleep in his arms as he laid you down.
------
All Muichirou wanted to do was train but since you were assigned to him his attention was all on you.
Currently, the 2 of you were having a staring contest as you both ate. You copied his movements, and he would just watch.
You never cried, screamed, or made much noise. You and Muichirou got along great.
He brought you to every Hashira meeting and he let you do your own thing.
-----
"Bu" you called to Shinobu from the pin she put you in. It was the only word you could say.
She looked up from her work over to you. You were standing holding on to the bar of the pin.
"Ah someone finally awake." She set her work aside and went to check on you.
"Bu Bu" You squealed as she picked you up.
"I'm here. I'm here."
You were the only reason she never worked herself to death.

Alpha Giyuu x Omega Reader HC’s
Tumblr media
Hearing that an omega had passed final selection and was actually a member of the demon slayer corps was a surprise to him
He was amazed that you had passed and was curious as to what an omega was like
You first meet him on Mt. Natagumo. You and Tanjiro had been fighting Rui when Giyuu stepped in to save you both
You saw his amazing abilities up close and knew that he was strong and worth getting advice from
Seeing him help Tanjiro protect Nezuko, you knew he was a good person and he gained your respect that day
When Tanjiro couldn’t move, you took the box Nezuko was in and ran as fast as you could away from Kanao, playing the world’s possibly deadliest game of keep away
When the Kasugai crows told you that Nezuko and Tanjiro were to be brought to demon slayer headquarters, you gripped Nezuko’s box and followed the Kakushi but didn’t let anyone take the box from you
When you got to headquarters, you followed Giyuu and refused to let anyone else touch the box, you even went as far as to bite and growl at people, no one smart would mess with a feral Omega. Except our wind Hashira
You sat by Giyuu’s feet, arms and legs wrapped around the box and hissing and growling at anyone who came too close, the other Hashira didn’t know what to do to keep you from attacking if they tried to take the box, as they didn’t really want to hurt an Omega
When Sanemi attempted to attack you to get the box from you, Giyuu stepped in front of you and kept Sanemi back
When Ubuyashiki arrived, you immediately calmed down some at his peaceful presence but were still on guard
When everyone questioned whether Nezuko would or wouldn’t attack a human you got fed up and walked up onto the engawa and apologized to Kagaya before taking your water container and washing off the scent blocking ointment covering your scent glands and even cut your hand on your blade before opening Nezuko’s box
The Hashira were each stunned and held themselves back when you injured yourself. When Nezuko refused to attack you despite being a bleeding omega, something every demon wouldn’t have thought twice about, Kagaya accepted Nezuko, and you stuck your tongue out at the other Hashira
When Ubuyashiki introduced you formally to the pillars, he asked them to each personally take some time to help train you. He was again surprised when you picked him to study under first (as was everyone else)
Poor boy didn’t even know what to do so he kinda froze up
When you spoke to him after the meeting he asked why you chose him. You told him you saw his actions on Mt. Natagumo and he gained both your trust and respect
He thought you were crazy
Although he’s not the best socialist, he does well in taking care of you while you train with him
You both cook meals and eat together. You sleep in separate rooms and he helps you in training and despite what he believes, he’s a decent teacher
You quickly pick up on his low self esteem and do what you can to try and help him.
You show him each of your breathing forms and happily accept whatever advice he gives you
You follow him on his patrols and help him by watching his back
You constantly praise him and tell him how amazing he is and how much you admire him
As you spend time training with him, he opens up to you a bit and you learn a bit about him. You tell him about your past and why you became a demon slayer
When you leave to go to the next Hashira, you hug him goodbye before giving him a kiss on the cheek and running away as fast as you can
Boy was frozen, it was at that moment, he knew, he developed feelings for you
@paranormal-fairy1984 here you go, you requested Giyuu.
And here’s part 2

cw: reader and tanjiro are engaged. tanjiro gets roped into an unfamiliar marriage custom. fluff. fem!reader.
When Tanjiro said he was willing to do anything for you, this wasn’t exactly what he had in mind.
The cloth Genya decided to tie around his nose is a little too tight for his liking, and it doesn’t help that in addition to that, his nostrils are stopped up with more additional scraps of cotton than he’d like. The intention is to block his sense of smell which he understands is practically cheating, but it's disorienting feeling like he can’t breathe through anything but his mouth, and the tissue is shoved up so far he can practically feel it tickling his brain.
But he can endure it. For you.
Tanjiro sucks in lungfuls of air through his mouth, then slowly breathes out before deciding to reset his thoughts with a smile. Genya looks directly in his face, then smirks, while Zenitsu, despite his blonde eyebrows furrowed in confusion, takes the time to adjust Tanjiro’s hair tousled slightly out of place by Genya’s ‘aggressive’ helping, then shakes his head.
“This is a weird ritual,” he finally admits.
Inosuke, who’s found a place on to lay comfortably and lazily on the tatami despite all the other young men in some sort of reasonable sitting position, laughs loudly.
“That’s what I said!” he yells, forgetting all about an indoor voice. He shoots up like a board, then points directly at Tanjiro, who has risen by now, trying to shake off his sudden nerves. “She already agreed to marry you, so what’s the point of all this, Gonpachiro!!!! Just take her and run before she changes her mind!”
Tanjiro takes another breath, forgetting his voice is nasal now, then huffs.
“She said it’d make her feel more at home, so I might as well.”
Genya rolls his eyes, but knows he’d do the same. Giyuu and Sanemi, older than the rest of the men in the room and as such, less naturally rowdy, exchange a look.
“So what’s the punishment if you can’t pick her out in a line-up?” Giyuu asks. “The engagement is over?”
Tanjiro pales quickly at the thought, then shakes his head.
“According to the custom, I just have to pay a fine to her parents.”
Zenitsu shakes his head while Inosuke bursts out laughing. “Like hell I would-” Inosuke starts, but Zenitsu slaps his hand over his mouth.
“She doesn’t have parents here,” Giyuu reminds him, the look in his cool blue eyes less inquisitive than it is expositional. Tanjiro nods.
“Lame if there aren’t any stakes,” Genya points out, picking lint off of his jacket. “Other than looking like a dumbass, I guess.”
Sanemi gives him a glance, then grins before looking back at Tanjiro.
“How about I beat you to death if you mess up?”
His eyes gleam wildly at the opportunity while Tanjiro purses his lips to the side, ignoring Genya who at the same time offer to help his older brother.
“Are you going to let go of any opportunity to injure me?”
Sanemi runs his hands through his white hair, still smirking to himself as he immediately replies, “absolutely not.”
Tanjiro sighs, but his attention is turned when his younger sister finds her way to the entrance where the young men sit and wait prior to the ceremony. Nezuko is radiant as usual, her raven hair pulled back into a neat bun and her dark pink eyes practically luminescent. Tanjiro can already feel Zenitsu’s awed stare at her, but these days he’s quieter about how much he desires her out of a mature fondness now that he too is marriageable age. Nezuko smiles as she looks upon the men in the room, and more so as she appraises how nice her brother looks.
The haori he wears today is nothing like his simple checkered one, dark green and laced with swirls of gold, complimentary to the burgundy tones of his hair, and despite his face being wrapped up in a makeshift mask to prevent him from sniffing out his bride, he remains handsome as usual. She adjusts the haori himo, slipping a couple of wisteria flowers within the string to accent the knot.
It’s not his wedding day yet, but he will still look wonderful.
“Are you all ready?” Nezuko asks. She smiles to herself as Tanjiro nods quickly and is the first to follow her out in the courtyard, the rest of the young men filing out behind her. Nezuko stands in pace with her brother, and squeezes his hand gently as they make their way to the decorated clearing where the ceremony will take place.
“You won’t mess up. You’ll know Neechan immediately,” she reassures him.
He’d tell Nezuko that it’s too early for her to call you that, but in some ways, she probably knew that you and her would become family even before he did.
Instead, Tanjiro smiles warmly at her, letting his fingers and hers exchange places to squeeze hers instead. You and Nezuko’s hands are different, naturally, but the warmth is similar because your hearts are similarly kind by nature. It’s comforting; despite from being thousands of miles away, separated for greater than a century, you remind him of home.
Your heart races, shrouded in the light weight of a woven silk sheet.
You’re not the only woman in this kneeling position; in fact, you are just one of six women arranged in a six-point star-shape in a small clearing beneath the bloom of plum blossom petals. Mitsuri, Kanao, your two best friends, and even Shinobu were willing to play along with you, dressed up in the same kimono, their heads and shoulders covered, and hands obscured in long sleeves set before themselves as they wait for the men to arrive. Everyone is quiet and perfectly still, although you know Mitsuri is trying her hardest to hold in her giggles, and Shinobu might get up and leave to go do something much more useful with her time any minute, and you wonder what the outcome will be of all this.
You’re not exactly sure why you roped him into this or why Tanjiro even agreed to your nonsense, but there’s something you need to prove. Something about fate, something about an attraction that transcends an enamored gaze or a heightened sense of smell or touch. Something that proves to you that the draw between you, the metaphorical thread that has linked you across time and space is not something you’ve imagined.
Or perhaps you just find it romantic that he’d know you anywhere.
But what if he doesn’t?
Hinatsuru did your makeup differently from the rest - an extra layer of gold dusted on your eyes, a deeper red on your lips. Wisteria is woven into your hair unlike the rest, and on your hands a red string is woven between your two pinky fingers. If he chooses you, you’ll untie one end and link it to his. An additional promise to love him forever.
You’ve already said yes, you’ve already said yes.
Makio continues to play the koto as you take deep breaths and you can hear Tengen and Rengoku laughing loudly with the rest of the growing crowd, Suma telling her giggling toddler to stay still, soft, awkward footsteps following giggles. Gyomei is probably praying and if Obanai could figure out which one of the shrouded women is you, he’d probably have you strung up on the highest mountain peak for dragging his wife into this.
Now you can hear the men approaching, Inosuke and Zenitsu’s bickering the loudest, but you can sense that Tanjiro is near even if he’s quiet and moves stealthily. Perhaps it’s your love for him, perhaps it’s his presence that you can’t ignore, or perhaps it’s the fact that he shines so bright you can feel the warmth of his soul any time he’s near.
You remain perfectly still as Makio’s koto playing comes to a halt. Nezuko sings and passes between the six of you, a chill running through your spine as she taps each of your shoulders. You remain silent.
You can’t see Tanjiro set his eyes immediately on you, because if you did, your heart would be tranquil. Instead you keep yourself from shaking, the blood pumping through your veins quickly, your ears warming.
Even if he can’t pick you out in disguise, he still chose you. He wants you. You will spend the rest of your lives together, no matter what.
“Thank you for sharing your custom, ___.”
Gyomei offers a short speech to explain what will be happening in the gathering, although the guests do know, enough so that even Urokodaki, who acts as a surrogate parent to the surviving Kamados is invited, and will be watching Tanjiro make his decision.
You think of the embarrassment if he ended up picking Kanao, despite the fact that it means nothing in the grand scheme of things, then think of the sheer pandemonium if Tanjiro were to unveil Mitsuri and almost break your cover.
Focus.
“Don’t embarrass yourself, Tanjiro. Sniff her out! Oh right,  you can’t!”
Inosuke’s heckles get a laugh from the crowd for once.
“Choose fucking wisely,” you hear Sanemi say, followed by the crack of his knuckles. The menacing tone to his voice also threatens to floor you in laughter, and you wonder if your friend will hold back her demand for him to be nice or blow her own cover.
“Enough harrassment,” Tanjiro finally defends himself. You can’t hear him move, but you somehow, can see someone, probably him moving in the faint shadows of your shroud.
Don’t be wrong, you tell yourself, then you quickly remind yourself, he wouldn’t be.
You’re meant to be.
“Hey.”
You hold your breath as Tanjiro settles on his knees before you, his hands closing around the edges of your shroud, and flipping the cloth up - quickly, confidently, almost defiantly.
Eye to eye, you watch him smile as he cups your face, rough hands so gentle, so loving on your warming cheeks. The koto slows to a stop again.
“You look beautiful,” he whispers, love practically dripping off his lips.
“You found me so quickly,” you whisper back, as your eyes mist. The onlookers watch as he presses his forehead to yours.
“Of course I did, I’d never lose sight of you even for a moment.”
And just like that, Hinatsuru’s hard work on your face is laid to waste; the koto plays again, heartily, your makeshift clones toss their veils and the crowd erupts in happy cheers.

Giyuu Tomioka's kindness deserves some more recognition!!
Am I the only one who hates when people interpret Giyuu Tomioka from KNY as some kind of unfeeling and mean person with the personality of a rock when so many scenes with him clearly show how much of a thoughtful, kind, and empathetic character he is??
Tumblr media
His introduction scene is already an example of this when he (a person who has been slaying demons for 8 years and has a deep hatred for them) decides to spare a demon just because he saw Tanjiro and Nezuko’s bond and decided to give them a chance. I’m sure most everyone in the KNY fandom recognizes this, but I don’t think some people REALLY understand the implications of this action. The moment he decides to spare Nezuko he essentially becomes a traitor to the demon slayer corps which, by the rules or the corps, qualifies him for execution. Tomioka quite literally gave up his life and pride to spare a pair of siblings he didn't know just to give them a fair chance in a world that is clearly unfair. There's also the fact that after knocking Nezuko out in the first episode, even though he didn't have to, he put Nezuko’s robe back on to keep her warm, wiped the blood off of her face, and gave her a muzzle. Keep in mind though that demons can't get sick from the cold or anything and the cut would have healed itself. Tomioka put the robe on and wiped the blood purely for her comfort.
Tumblr media
Going back to the fact that Tomioka put his whole life on the line for these siblings, It’s not like he just abandoned them when they got caught. He fully stood with them when the Kamado siblings were brought before the hashira. Again this moment was actually HUGE even though his status as a ‘traitor’ lasted only two episodes. In the moment of the trial he essentially knew there was a good chance he would be executed but also, he knew that his pride/reputation was gone from his peers. (Pride was very important in Japan during this time period) One could argue that Tomioka already wasn't regarded well among the hashira but at least he was at least a little respected, but, as a traitor, you lose ALL respect. One could also argue that Tomioka didn't really care about his life and honestly, I could agree to that statement but there is one thing that overrules both of these points. His loyalty towards Ubuyashiki. It's well known that the Master is well regarded among the hashira and even the master being disappointed in one of them would be terrible for them. Imagine how bad it must be for one of the Hashira if Ubuyashiki had a full on disdain towards one of them. Tomioka was fully ready to take the chance of being deemed a traitor by Ubuyashiki by coming to the Hashira meeting to vouch for Tanjiro instead of running away or something.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then there is how Tomioka acted as a child. There isn't much shown about how he was before spiraling into a more isolated lifestyle after sabito’s death but from what we can see, His parents died when he was really young and he grew up with his older sister, Tsukato. His sister hid him from a demon when they were attacked to spare him and overcome by guilt, he blamed himself for her death and believed he should have died. This is one of the first examples of his self-deprecating thoughts after losing a person close to him and we can see them again when Sabito dies and also when Tanjirou ‘dies’. This shows how hard losses hit him to the point of causing himself to devoid himself of emotion because of the sheer amount of sadness his relationship's deaths brought him. The fact that he still wears Sabito and Tsukato’s haoris together as a memento for 8 years just solidifies it for me
Tumblr media
There's also a few scenes post war that i’d like to mention such as the scene where Tomioka openly cries over Tanjiros death and exclaims that he’s failed him before apologizing to Nezuko. This scene also shows his tendency to put burdens unto himself in order to let others be happy. He also rejects help from the kakushi to sit beside Tanjiro and only after he confirms Tanjiro is alright does he allow himself to relax. Then there is the mention from the fan book that while Giyuu was in a coma after the war Nezuko fixed Tomioka’s haori that was previously shred to pieces during the war because she knew his haori meant a lot to him. Once he woke up and found out that she had fixed his haori and visited him every night, he was so moved that he sent a large multitude of gifts to her. It is also shown that after the war he allows himself to be happier and smile more. He is VERY clearly not emotionless.
Tumblr media
The last thing I want to mention is his relationships over the manga with his fellow hashira. His friendship with shinobu may seem one-sided, Tomioka definitely cares for her wellbeing which can be seen when he asks Tanjiro about her during the Soba scene and in the fanbook where the hashira opinions of each other shows that he notices her fake smile. Tomioka knew shinobu’s sister Kanae so I’m sure he relates to shinobu about their common grief towards their deceased older sisters. Then There is the Uzui family which befriended Tomioka after the war and after Uzui’s first child was born, Giyuu was allowed to hold them. This could mean that after the war Tomioka opened up more, so the Uzui’s were able to notice Tomioka’s thoughtfulness. Then of course there are the Shinazugawa scenes. The infamous ohagi scene, where Giyuu gets so happy that he knows Sanemi’s favorite food so then he can like him rather than hate him that he flashes one of the three smiles he ever shows in the manga. There’s also the small speech he gives Kiriya at the final pillar meeting where he talks about how his father would be proud of him and how grateful they are to the Ubuyashiki family which ended up bringing Kiriya to tears before sharing another smile with Sanemi.
Tumblr media
It is very clear that Giyuu Tomioka cares heavily for Justice and for those he is close to the point where his main character story is about his guilt to those he failed and about his feelings and connections with others so please please please stop portraying him as insensitive, mean, and emotionless!!!
Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Giyuu are Siblings fr

Hellooo may I ask if you plan to continue the kny cats series?
Tumblr media
KNY Kitties | 4
Sooner than the quadruple had liked your friend had returned and was eager to take her cats home
And while the sad mews from the kittens broke your heart it was nice to see the Magenta and Waterbug reclaim their role as guardians
Once again alternating between following you around the house and watching the kittens
While you’d like to say all was back to normal it was not
The blonde Turkish angora with rainbow eyes seemed to be finding himself at your place more often
With a new friend named Snowflake
Turns out your friend who owned him did return from her trip
But she had fallen in love with the idea of traveling and had convinced her boyfriend to do the same
Which meant you were left to take care of both of their cats for the foreseeable future
As disappointing as that was having the new short hair around helped balance everyone out
Keeping the mischievous Angora busy
Otherwise, life was good
You were hanging out even longer with your new landlord
And cracking down on the only cat that seems to be escaping from your home:
“Okay, my babies! I’ll see you all in a bit I just have to make a quick run! Behave please!”
The sound of your voice suddenly disappearing behind the door caught everybody off guard. As far as they were concerned you were just getting a snack in the kitchen, you’d said so after getting up from cuddling with Magenta. The kittens who had previously tried to fall asleep beside Giyuu immediately snapped awake to go to the door to mew sadly. As though their crying would bring you back they held their little protest for a few minutes, deciding to sit by the door to wait. Giyuu figured he’d check on them before speaking to Muzan who was taking this opportunity to rub himself all over your clothes.
“Oi Muzan. Aren’t you stretching yourself too thin?//”
Without looking up the former demon king only intensified his scent smothering.
“How so?//”
“All week you’ve been jumping between being a cat and the ‘landlord’s son.’ Is there no stress on your body to be switching so often?//”
“No, I’m as infallible as I was in the past.//”
Giyuu hides the distasteful flicking of his tail at the prideful assumption. He didn’t really care if Muzan was caught, he was only worried about the rest of them transforming. If that time were to come.
“Ne ne Akaza-chan! Who do you think will be transforming next?”
The striped short hair groaned trying to slink away from Doma as they entered the bedroom. Giyuu’s ears twitched as he made his move to stay on the bed. Better to stay out of their way but still watch the Uppermoons.
“For all you know, it could be me!”
“Please we’d all be in trouble if it’s you.”
“Why wouldn’t you like it if we all go and live with our Master?”
Muzan perked up from the folded clothes to do his best to glare at his subordinates continuing to make biscuits on them.
“I wouldn’t let you live with me.”
“What?! Master why?!”
“(Y/n) would get the wrong idea about me and I will not have you disrupting my relationship with them.”
“How mean! Would you say the same with Akaza?”
“....No.”
“Whhyyyy?!”
Giyuu refused to say anymore jumping off the bed to the front door. He planned to check on the quiet kittens rather than listen to the useless drivel that was this conversation. He hoped none of it would be considered true. But if this was going off of physical prowess from their past lives that would be a likely scenario rather than Tanjiro. Giyuu was disappointed to see that Tanjiro hadn’t had the same changes he noticed Muzan was having before he first transformed.
When he finally entered the kitchen and doorway of the house he found the kittens precariously stacked on each other while standing on the counter, attempting to grab some treats. Recently you’ve been trying to teach the kittens some commands and tricks. Unfortunately for you, the kittens were smart enough to wish they could have those treats all the time.
“Tanjiro, Nezuko, Rui! What are you all doing?//”
A series of ‘uh oh’ and hushed whispers told him all he needed to know. Easily he hopped up on the counter to safely break up the little stack they had going on. They proceeded to whine and complain as he sent a scathing look to all of them–specifically at Tanjiro.
“Tanjiro what is this? I would’ve expected more from you.”
“It’s just that they were both hungry and they were crying–”
“That’s no reason to do this. If you’re so hungry you’ll wait until (Y/n) gets home.”
“But–”
“No, buts. Off the counter.”
But of course, as the kittens begin to slink away preparing for the drop-down, Muzan intervenes.
“What seems to be the problem.”
Giyuu prepares to speak only to be beaten by Rui. Who proudly tattles as though Giyuu was in the wrong.
“The old man says we can’t eat even though we’re hungry!”
“--Hey!”
Muzan probably already aware of the true situation coyly sits at the bottom of the counter.
“Well, that’s not right then.”
With a smooth snapping of bones, the human form of Muzan stood tall and more than able to reach for the treats. The kittens cheered letting out happy mews as he opened the bag and began leaving some food out. Giyuu groaned in the only way a cat can.
It is then his dark blues spot the small device above the refrigerator.
“Mu—!//”
Before he could get it out the door swung open. It is then that Muzan turns completely naked to look horrified at the main doorway where you had your phone’s light flashing with a picture and your jaw hanging open.
“OH MY G–”

How would kny characters hurt you in an argument?
Tumblr media
Includes: Tanjiro Kamado, Kyojuro Rengoku, Giyuu Tomioka, Sanemi Shinazugawa
A/N: Hello readers! This is an idea I got from a hc post on here, I'm not sure who made it but I give credit to them for this hc idea. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
KAMADO TANJIRO:
I feel like most arguments would start because of Tanjiro's protectiveness of his friends
He would probably start scolding you for doing something he thought was reckless while fighting a demon
Especially if Nezuko we're to be the one to save you and get injured, he would probably be pissed off
Tanjiro is the type of person to bottle his emotions up, so he really just snapped at you
He seems like the person who yells and cries during an argument
He would bring up the fact that you had jumped into danger without thinking, calling you selfish for thinking only about the battle and not of your friends
If someone had gotten injured protecting you, like Nezuko, she wouldn't be able to say anything since she was healing and unable to stick up for you
You would just be too shocked to even say anything to defend yourself, along with everyone else, since no one has seen Tanjiro like this before
Once he finishes, he simply excuses himself quietly, saying that he's tired from dealing with this
Bonus!
Zenitsu would immediately rush to your side to comfort you as tears spilled down your cheeks
This would be especially hard if you had past problems with arguments and yelling
RENGOKU KYOJURO:
Now Rengoku seems like a type of person to be less of a yelling type at the beginning, but slowly builds up his anger to the point that he starts yelling
Usually the arguments are about how Shinjuro treats Rengoku and Senjuro, with Rengoku insisting that he can convince his father to be better
You try to tell him that Rengoku should ask for help to deal with his father, but Rengoku stubbornly disagrees
His demeanor during arguments is different, his eyes looking darker and it seems like he loses his friendly glow
When Rengoku argues back, he usually uses something your sensitive about, like if you had a bad relationship with your parents
He would claims that he's at least trying to fix his relationship with his dad, hitting you hard and causing you to go speechless
rengoku usually just stomps away from the fight when he's done saying his mind, leaving you teary eyes and with a broken heart
TOMIOKA GIYUU:
Giyuu always wants to avoid arguing as much as possible, always shutting you down when you want to talk about some problems
This causes you to get frustrated and start bombarding him with questions, like why is he avoiding their problems
Giyuu seems like the type of person to talk more than yell, but his voice is still strained as if he's holding back from yelling at you
Giyuu knows exactly where to hit you to make it hurt, taunting you about problems that you could never solve
His words would go to the point that he makes you burst out crying and run out of the room
He immediately regrets whatever he said in the argument, and ends up going to bed alone, covering himself in the sheets as tears of regret slide down his face
Bonus!
Giyuu wouldn't be able to face you for a few days after the a t in fear of hurting you again with his words
It takes a lot of reassurance from you to get him outside again
SHINAZUGAWA SANEMI:
Sanemi is the type of dude yo go all out during arguments, yelling and screaming at you, even sometimes going as far as you throw things into the ground in rage
You both seem like you're at each other's necks, not backing down from proving your side right
Sanemi seems like the type of person to call you degrading names, such as coward, selfish, etc.
You try to stay calm at first, but you have yo resort to yelling to get your point across
Sanemi is usually arguing to you about staying out of his and Genya's relationship, saying that it is non of your business
You end up running out of breath before he does, simply listening to him yell at you for a few more minutes before he storms out the room and slams the door
By the time he's gone, tears are already streaming down your face, breathless and tired from screaming your lungs out as you collapse to your knees, sobbing

Anon: Hello, I would like to request again for Demon Slayer with a reader from the future (2022). Like the reader has powers able to travel through time and they decide to have their house planted in the Taisho period. But what they didn't know is that the world is filled with demons. They can also open portals to travel to their time period and can bring others along. How would Muzan, Upper Moon 1, 2, 3, 6( Daki and Gyutaro) and Tanjiro, Inosuke, Muichiro, Obanai, Giyuu react?
I made a poly!version for Gyutaro and Daki because otherwise there would have been 11 characters in here.
Tw: Yandere themes, unhealthy mindset, unhealthy relationship, possessive behavior, obsession, delusion, stalking, protective behavior, paranoia, manipulation, gaslighting, abduction, murder
In the wrong place at the right time
Kamado Tanjiro
Tumblr media
❤️ Tanjiro is such a sweetheart for his darling, he doesn't mean to intrude on private matters but it's just not avoidable that he picks up thanks to his enhanced smell that you're hiding something from him and the others. You're lying although he's firm to believe that you have no bad intentions as your scent is pure with a tinge of guilt for not telling him the truth as the both of you have grown very close. Your excitement regarding the things around you is endearing though as you seem amazed with even small things and that only strengthens Tanjiro's resolve to protect you and guarantee that no demon will ever harm you. You don't know about demons as of now and Tanjiro, even if terrible at lying to someone, decides to not tell you anything about it as of now to not tatter your joy and optimism. Your ideal vision of the Taisho period gets shattered eventually though as you one night get assaulted by a demon and it's only thanks to Tanjiro that you're saved and only suffer minor injuries.
❤️ He has no choice but to tell you the truth now, you can't unsee it anymore and it breaks his heart when he sees your expression falter as you hear about demons and his affiliation with the Demon Slayer Corps. You're in disbelief and fearful, he can smell that much. Whilst you seem to process the new information, he suddenly blurts out the question he has meant to ask you for a long time. You've been hiding something too, haven't you? You see, whilst rummaging through your stuff in search for bandages and medicine, he found some very unusual objects he's never seen before. You're caught now as your startled smell gives you away and by now it's too late to avoid an answer because Tanjiro wants to know now. He's very understanding, amazed with your ability to travel through time, even asks you if you could take him and Nezuko with you if that's alright. There might be a way to cure her in your time too. He swears that he'll keep it a secret from the others to protect you. He doesn't vocalize a nagging fear that you might want to return now that you know about demons so subconsciously he starts spending more time with you, shows you the good sides of his time period.
Hashibira Inosuke
Tumblr media
🐗 This boisterous and confident young man waltzes into your life with an unstoppable force, oblivious to his growing feelings yet subconsciously acting on them nonetheless. Inosuke is unlike anyone you've ever seen and his abilities amaze and fascinate you, you can't help but praise him and gush over him. A huge ego boost for the Demon Slayer who in return spends more time with you to keep your attention and praise for himself. Really though, he gets insanely jealous if you compliment someone else, even his friends, and starts doing more reckless things just to prove that he's better. He gets himself hurt a couple of times because of his rash decions but enjoys it when you take him inside his house and care for his injuries. Unfortunately he has no sense for privacy and rummages through your stuff a lot of time, finds some weird things and comes running to you, wanting to know what it is. You never tell him though which only makes him more determined to find out. He even steals stuff and asks his friends only to hear that they don't know either.
🐗 You're keeping a secret from him and that does not sit right with him. He's your protector after all! He even keeps the demons away since nothing should dare to touch his darling! In fact it's the night where he senses a demon near your house and rushes to your rescue that he finds out as you remain unaware until the last minute and demands the sacrifice of shielding you from their attack, something he'd gladly do over and over again. You're horrified and worried at the same time as you cater to his needs and bandage his wounds, questioning him what that was. Inosuke, for childish reasons, refuses to tell you until you answer his questions and you cave in as his stubbornness and your guilt wins you over. Inosuke is a bit mad that you never told him, at the same time insists for you to not tell anyone besides himself though as he thinks he's the only one who should know. You're his to protect after all! He is stubbornly demanding for you to take him with you the next time you travel back. A part of him knows what your powers imply though, that you could leave him anytime. He's partially delusional, tells himself that you'd never leave him but don't wonder why all of a sudden he's so much more clingy.
Tomioka Giyu
Tumblr media
🌊 Giyu is not someone you're well acquainted with as he keeps to himself yet Giyu is someone who knows you very well, you've just never noticed him until now. He doesn't let you. Both of you have an interesting relationship as he's the one who saved you from a demon one time before, earning him your gratitude and the gain of quite a heavy knowledge. He's been keeping a watchful eye on you since that day and what started as a good will to see if you're doing fine has turned into an all-consuming obsession. How could he let this happen? He doesn't deserve you. A mandra Giyu repeats daily although his aching heart tells a different story as he longs silently to be able to stay by your side. You two do occasionally meet and sometimes you even initiate small talk with him, making his heart flutter and his chest tighten with warmth. How can you still smile so brightly despite being nearly killed by a demon? Why can't you smile at him like this all the time?
🌊 He passes by your house on that evening, something of a daily routine when he notices the weird light coming from behind your shoji doors. He can't sense any demon but assumes still the worst, he's paranoid for your safety after all. He comes storming in, surprising you as you're about to go back to your world to buy some stuff you need. Giyu doesn't know that though, all he sees is you standing inside some shiny portal. When he tries to reach you, the portal closes and you disappear, leaving him all alone there. He searches the entire area for any demons only to return inside your house with his heart inside his stomach, anxiously waiting and hoping that you return. Every moment feels agonizing but eventually you come back, fully aware that you can't talk your way out of this. He seems composed but he sits very close to you when you explain, still scared of the way you just disappeared. Your abilities are special indeed but he can't help the paranoid fear as he realizes that you could leave him anytime and you flinch slightly when shaking hands suddenly grasps your arms, asking you if you'd ever leave now that you know of demons. Please don't, he swears that he'll never let any harm come your way!
Iguro Obanai
Tumblr media
🐍 Obanai adores you, there's no other way of expressing his feelings. Your unbridled adoration for even the simple things around you and your open mindset have captured his heart completely. If only he would have the courage to approach you though because so far you two have barely interacted with each other. It's not your fault as you've shown interest in him but the Hashira is avoiding you, shame crawling up his back every time. His existence is a tainted one as his past has branded him as something that should not be near you. You're his star in a dark night, he should never even dream about trying to reach you yet his desire has done so multiple times, wondering if you'd still have this shine in your eyes if you'd ever see his scared and vile face. Obanai is an excellent stalker, you never notice his presence which has silently sworn to keep all evil away from you, no matter if demon or human. There's this one time he sort of broke into your house and ever since he has his suspicions that you're hiding something.
🐍 It all happens very fast, a demon attacking you, Obanai instantly jumping in to behead them and you using your powers to escape, accidentally dragging him with you when he sees the weird light surrounding you with his hand instantly reaching out, grasping you and getting sucked in too. Obanai is frantic for a while, unfamiliar with those new surroundings and all the light and the noises, you have to quickly escort him somewhere else so he can calm down. You owe him an explanation, he's blunt as he demands one from you but is still aware enough to know that he owes you one too so both of you end up confessing the truth. True to his worshipping tendencies he really starts seeing you as something entirely different, even if it does nothing but worsen his cripping anxiety to be unworthy to be anywhere near you. At the same time there's a primal fear though to be left behind with time separating you too. Perhaps it's this new world that tears his defences down a bit but he grows very vulnerable with that thought, one of his hands clutching your hem tightly as heterochromic eyes stare at you. You...you wouldn't abandon your life in his time now that you know about the demons, right? He won't let you...
Tokito Muichiro
Tumblr media
🌫️ Muichiro might be air-headed and might have troubles focusing yet something about his darling is just demanding all of his attention and focus. You stay on his mind for reasons he can't fully explain but this is the catalyst of his growing obsession as you grab his curiosity with why he bothers so much with you. Hence why Muichiro often finds himself spending time with you, although he doesn't even share half of your enthusiasm and unexplainable thrill upon seeing steam trains or wearing the newest fashion. He's obtuse, bluntly questioning why you find such stuff so great when it's so common. He's most likely a bit too naive to recognize his obsession but what he does know is that he feels a strong urge to protect you and so he does, by literally just stalking you and following you around. He doesn't even have any bad intentions but is far too dense to see his way of protecting you as an intrusion of your privacy. He's the Hashira after all whilst you aren't even aware of demons.
🌫️ You encounter a demon in the middle of summoning a portal to buy some stuff you can only find in your time and all happens too fast for you to realize. In one moment this thing wants to attack you, in the next it's head is rolling on the ground with the Hashirama standing in your house, katana in his hands as indifferent eyes watch the demon burn. Then those blue, misty eyes turn to you and to the half-opened portal and thick silence embraces both of you as you feel half-terrified and half-stunned, your brain struggling to process what you've just seen. When he bluntly asks you what you're doing there, you struggle to come up with an answer as you don't know how to explain this without spoiling your secret. You should have known that Muichiro won't let you leave without giving him an answer though, arrogant enough to think that he deserves to know after having saved your life. Your hesitating reaction only makes him all the more curious which leaves you with little to no choice but admit it to him before daring to ask what that thing was. Your fear is obvious. You don't have to be afraid though, Muichiro will protect you. So don't even think about leaving him behind.
Kibutsuji Muzan
Tumblr media
🩸 You instantly arouse his suspicion for the simple matter that he knows the village and all of it's surroundings, he's currently hiding there after all and kills it's citizens to consume their flesh. You never belonged here nor did your house ever exist, it just appeared one night as one of his underlings tells him. One look into their mind lets Muzan see what they saw and true to their word, your house truly just appeared out of the blue. Whether you're a threat or not is not clear but Muzan is cautious enough to keep an eye on you and considering that you're often visiting the village, he uses his current disguise to approach you. If you would have known beforehand about the demons, perhaps you would have been a bit more careful when this man randomly approached you and offered his help when you were clearly lost. It's painfully obvious that you have little to no knowledge about this city but you seem excited and happy nonetheless. Foolish is what you are in his eyes, until you accidentally engage with him in a conversation about science and manage to impress him with your knowledge.
🩸 Perhaps you aren't as stupid as he thought you were because what you tell him is interesting enough for him to listen to you as you aren't deemed a complete waste of his time. In fact he finds himself enjoying your company a lot more than he should, one of the few steps it takes to violently push him down the stairs of possessive insanity as red eyes are now watching your every action with a newfound hyperfixation. It's his decision to pay a visit to your house that reveals the secret behind your knowledge to him as his eyes fall upon a few books in your bookshell, books written long after his time. You nearly jump out of your skin when you find Muzan in your house, sat on your couch and clutching a book in his hands, gleaming red eyes flying over the pages before his inhumane gaze meets yours with intrigue and fascination, only intensifying his obsession. From where are you, little human? You want to run but are stopped when he's suddenly in front of you, grabbing you with inhumane strength. Your reaction makes it very clear for him that you didn't know about demons but that isn't important. Important is that the key to his perfection might be found in the future.
Kokushibo
Tumblr media
🌙 Call it luck or misfortune that your house just happens to be planted in the very rural area Kokushibo passes by, your little home somehow sticking out like a sore thumb due to it's quite odd design, unlike anything he has ever seen so far. Has this always been here? His six eyes are fixed on this strange building and it's at that moment that you happen to return home. From your own time period that is. All Kokushibo sees how a strange light suddenly appears in your garden and you walk through it, content with the stuff you've just gotten and unaware how a certain demon is watching you with sparked interest. What did you just do? It almost reminds him of withcraft if he wouldn't know better. Seems like he might want to keep his eyes out for you, you've certainly caught his attention. He's never met a human like you before, with such a strange ability. Kokushibo, without any obsession as of now, is rather patient. He serenely watches over you when he has time, picking up even the smallest bits of information.
🌙You're very smart and skilled, appreciative of the things and the humans around you as your eyes curiously observe anything that peaks your interest. At the same time you're horribly oblivious to the existence of the demons though, perhaps the only thing dampening your otherwise intelligent personality. That's what Kokushibo is there for though who has over time developed the urge to keep harm away from you, essentially your deadly and silent stalker.  You haven't used your abilities in a while but that's unnecessary, he has already figured out where you come from. Admittedly, breaking into your house and looking through your stuff isn't very polite but it's thanks to this that he knows that you apparently come from the future which would explain the strange design of your house and the peculiar stuff you have hidden in your rooms. It's quite fascinating as he wonders what the future looks like based on everything he has found. The demon does not forget about the possibility that this also implies that you can travel back anytime you want though, somewhere where even he can't find you. That demands actions as Kokushibo is too possessive to let you lead a quiet life. You'll find out the dreadful truth of his existence soon enough...
Douma
Tumblr media
❄️ You plant your house without a doubt in the right time as you have aways longed to live during the Taisho period but what you don't know is that your house is quite close to the place where Douma's cult is. So imagine the surprise of his followers when they one day discover this new building in the surroundings of the cult. Obviously their leader is instantly informed about this new discovery and quite a few of his followers demand you to leave as they find it insulting and disrespectful that you live within their territory unless you join their cult. Truly not a nice welcoming but Douma shuts all his followers, mildly interested which is enough for him to pay you a visit. You're not prepared for him though as he shoves himself past your body, curiously scrutinizing the interior before his eyes land on a funny-looking object and he asks you what it is. Your short outburst of anger interrupts him though as you demand him fiercely to leave as you won't tolerate someone just breaking into your house, even if it's some cult leader. You have some fire inside of you. How sweet~
❄️ His fascination with you is the reason why he allows you to live so close to his cult, to the jealousy of most of his followers. He likes spending time with you, gifts you presents to earn your trust. You mellow slightly out with time and for some reason that has his inhumane heart going all frenzy inside his chest, an unfamiliar yet addictive feeling. The new surge of ticklish and fuzzy feelings are such a delight to the demon who previously never felt anything. That is reason enough to claim, isn't it? Perhaps he had something a tad bit more romantic in mind though then visiting you only to see some of his followers attacking you, calling you a witch/wizard, sweet blood invading his nostrils yet the sight of you being beaten down fills his veins with icy blood lust. He mercilessly slaughters all of them, the last one babbling hysterically that they saw you using witchcraft before suffering the same fate as the others, leaving only you and Douma whose hands are covered in sticky blood. They didn't hurt you seriously flower, did they? You can't keep your secret a secret for much longer now and once Douma knows, he won't let you leave his side since he can't have you escape from him. Just do your best to keep him out of your time as he surely will ask if you could take him to the future.
Akaza
Tumblr media
👊 Perhaps it's a bit naive of you to settle down near a beautiful meadow of flowers, the bright lights of the next city shining in the closer distance. You prefer the isolation though as it allows you to keep your abilities hidden whilst still being close enough to witness the charm of the city in the Taisho period. You think you're all alone but what you do not know is that Upper Moon 3 happens to stumble upon you and your little home, a bit surprised to see a human living so far away from other humans. That makes you easy prey for every demon but it's not like he concerns himself much with that. He decides to spare you though, out of respect for your peaceful and tranquil life. He'll leave it up to fate if you'll get eaten or not. He isn't supposed to care much more for you if it wouldn't have been for the fact that he just happens to witness how you use your powers to shortly travel back to the future, leaving Akaza staring bewildered at the spot you just stood as your presence has just vanished. Perhaps he should watch you for a bit longer after all.
👊 Strangely enough he finds himself growing fond of you over time and the seclusion that allows him to watch you all alone most of the time is a huge part of that. You're by yourself as you idly and diligently go through your daily life and Akaza watches it all. He's delusional for this idea but he can't help but think that you two have in a way a very intimate bond as he probably knows you better than anyone else, obsessively watching what you do. Your powers are no longer the only main focus of his as he finds himself yearning to be part of your tranquil life. He starts wracking his head around ways to introduce himself to you without scaring you but another demon does the job for him by attempting to kill you only to run for their life when Akaza makes an appearance, tearing them away from you and scaring them with his sheer presence alone before turning his attention to you and checking you obsessively for any injuries. You're frozen out of shock as you stare at him and his weird appearance. Surely it's only a question of time now until Akaza finds out about your powers and that'll manage to impress him whilst at the same time also making him slightly paranoid with the thought of you disappearing and never returning again. If you're scared of the demons don't worry, he can protect you against everyone and everything.
Daki & Gyutaro
Tumblr media
🌺 🟢 This just calls for a catastrophe in the making as those siblings are more than just a handful to deal with, especially for their darling who has to deal with their obsession. All that was not what you planned when you transported your house near the Entertainment District, buzzling with colours and life. It is an interesting experience nonetheless although you do try to stay away from every house that hosts the many Oiran. You still have to earn money though and is if fate just decides to screw you up, you end up working indirectly for the very house under which Warabihime is working for. By extent, you bump more than once into the terrible Oiran but thanks to your ability to travel back to the future, you manage to please her by bringing her hairpins, kimonos and presents unlike anything every other suitor can provide her with. You don't have to be surprised when she grows so terribly obsessed over you as you flatter her, much to the dismay of Gyutaro who has to endure her mood swings as Daki goes back and forth between despising you and adoring you. Yet despite his better judgement, his sister's obsession seems to be infectious as he soon finds himself in the same situation.
🌺 🟢 Both of them make each other only worse as it suddenly becomes a small competition who you might prefer more, don't be surprised when you're knocked out the next time Warabihime requests for your presence. Your introduction to demons is truly unpleasant as you have two of them at once hoovering over you who make it very clear to you that you are theirs from now on and should better obey if you don't want to be punished. Daki and Gyutaro make a horrible duo so it's no wonder that you try to escape by travelling back to your time, only that you didn't account for Daki's sentient obi slashes to stop you and inform her about your action. To say that she's furious is an understatement and Gyutaro isn't any better. How foolish can you be to go against their word so quickly? Daki only wants to punish you, single-minded until Gyutaro reminds her that both of them should find out what you did back then. You'll have to tell them to make their sadistic punishment a bit more bearable and even then Daki will still be mad that you kept this a secret from her. Yet it's also Daki who would be more slightly more willing to let you use your abilities, only to continue spoiling her with special presents though. They can't let you escape though. Never.

Sparking charcoal au
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sparking charcoal au This is inspired by fanart from @rolyat-insonia for the charcoal rivers by aglobzzy.  And I was inspired to put the haf Fox makes on Genya by @chichiriyarts fox mask nezuko AU. and the watermelon draw was in inspired @mjtheartist04
This is an au were after the shinazugawa's demon insadent. And genya was left to fend for himself Tanjiro's mother adopted him in the kamado house. genya shinazugawa/kamado he uses ether last name interchangeably or combines them on paper work. He never wants to give up ether family ties. Becomes the demon out of the 3 survivors of Kamado's house-holed. Due to how Genya's jeans would allow him to eat demons and become partially demon to gain their strength. His body would eventually adapt to being a demon better. I think when he gains his sense of self again. He has more control over himself. plus his diet of eating demons. This leads him away from the desire of wanting to eat humans. The smell of human blood smells wrong after a while. He still does have the temptation earlier on in the story that's why he has the muzzle and now his mask. but around the red light district ark, he's nearly lost any temptation of humans. P.S. Genya over the years helping Nezuko and their -kamado- mother has learned how to do hairstyles but basic ones. But still knows enough to do Nezuko's and Tanjiro's hair. they both keep their hair long enough so Genya can mess with it. it is one of the bonding things they do to relax.
for more details of the beginning of the story under the cut.
Genya Shinazugawa/kamado is the eldest son -by 4 months~- adopted into the Kamado family. Even so, on the most front, Tanjiro acts as the family's eldest son. Genya doesn't mind too much due to him already having an older brother. Genya is more used to being more of a supporter anyway. Genya and Nezuko tag team taking care of the younger siblings to help their Mom. Genya likes to make warning stories about demons in the dead of night to prevent the younger siblings from getting eaten. Nezuko normally has to wack him on the head to stop him from scaring them too much. Tanjiro finds the stories pretty fun and doesn't take them too seriously.
the day that Tanjiro left to sell charcoal. Genya felt that something was off and tried to get Nezuko to go with Tanjiro but she refused pointing out that there was too much work left to be done at the home. Genya didn't push it -he wished he did-.
When Tanjiro got back he saw the massacre of the Kamado family, his family. He was devastated but then he heard something he heard crying.
Tanjiro nearly fell over running to the sound he saw Nezuko crying over Genya's body. when Tanjiro was sleeping in Mister Saburo's house. Genya was outside the house looking at where the stars were supposed to be. The cloudy night hiding most of them. He was a bit far from the Kamado house trying to see if Tanjiro was coming. Nezuko wandered out with a blanket for Genya knowing he might stay out a little longer waiting for Tanjiro. Genya thanks Nezuko before both of them hear a torrent of screams coming from their home. Genya quickly covers Nezuko in the white blanket telling her to hide while he goes to the house to see what's going on. Nezuko tried to protest but Genya wasn't hearing it.He hid her and went back home. Nezuko waiting nearly leaves her hiding spot before feeling a force of fear running down her back like ice water. The smell of blood fills the air. The creature's presence overwhelming and crushing her. Even though it wasn't near. made Nezuko pass out.
leading to now. Nezuko was in shock. But when she saw Tanjiro she cried for help saying "Genya's body was still warm."
the confrontation with Giyuu more or less stays the same. Genya becomes the demon instead. and the fun Begins. the confrontation with Giyuu more or less stays the same. Genya becomes the demon instead. and the fun Begins.

Demon slayer hashira rant, a bit(?) of manga spoiler. It's just a rant. Need to share this out of my head to somewhere.
Tumblr media
When Kyojuro said that all any hashira will do the same, they will protect, I was a bit like: '...No I don't think so...' because they came off as cruel. But now that I think about it: 'Yeah, they will actually.'
First of Giyuu. I mean, he was horrible (kinda, not for me, though I get why he said those things) when Tanjiro first met him. But he was protecting Tanjiro from the demon by capturing and stabbing 'it' (Nezuko). He doesn't know that Nezuko is different. Many people have said the same thing Tanjiro said and gets eaten in the end.
Also Shinobu. Shinobu tries to kill the demon (Nezuko) that might have killed demon slayers in that mountain and now might try to kill the boy (Tanjiro) and maybe her fellow hashira (Giyuu). She also doesn't know that Nezuko is an anomaly in the demons. She tried being kind to demons but they only lie lie lie. This is proven by the spider sister who lies. As she said, demons lose their humanity and will do anything to eat humans. She can't trust Tanjiro's words. It came off as protecting the sins of his beloved sister. There is no proof (yet) that she won't eat a human. This goes for all the hashiras at the pillar meeting.
Next hashira Tanjiro met is Kyojuro. Kyojuro is, well, the most obvious hashira that shows the word PROTECT. Tengen is next. Tengen himself said to his wives to prioritize their lives first, law-abiding citizens second, and then him. I don't know if the priority is the same for him but he put law-abiding citizens in the list. He laments that he can't be like Kyojuro, who protects everyone.
After that is Muichiro. He ran past Kotetsu at first. For all he knows, that upper rank at the inn(?) is killing the villagers right now. He doesn't know that Mitsuri is coming, that Tanjiro can hold that upper rank with Nezuko and Genya, and that there is another upper rank demon. So, he judged that Kotetsu was a low priority compared to the village chief and other villagers. One child vs multiple people. It was a hard choice that had to be made. That upper rank might kill another ten people while he saves the child. But in the end, he followed his feelings, saved Kotetsu, regained memory, and fought the other upper-rank demon. In that memory, he wants to join the Demon Slayer Corp to help and protect people. Well, before mixed with hatred for demons anyway.
Mitsuri is nice. She joined the Demon Slayer Corp to find a place where she belongs (and a husband, lol). She carried on Kyojuro's duty of strong people... principle? She's a kind person.
Sanemi and Obanai. They told the accompanying demon slayer to fall back when investigating the run-down castle. They reduce the possibility of them getting killed and weighing them down, so you can say they protect them. They saved that woman too. They make sure there are no senseless sacrifices. Sanemi fought to protect Genya and to eliminate demons. Obanai fought to cleanse himself; he was also not immune to the sacrifices made in the final battle.
Gyomei is also obvious. He fought for the orphans. He fought to protect. He just doesn't trust Tanjiro at the pillar meeting because he can't believe the words of 'children' anymore.
The hashiras fought to protect humanity and to eradicate demons. To make sure that no other people have to go through what they went through. To create a world without demons. They want to protect others, and they hate demons who kill with no remorse. They don't want to be demons who hurt others.
So, advice for Kaigaku, if you want to be a hashira maybe change your mindset first, rather than learning the first form or blaming others... If you can harm others for your benefit, well...

Hello, my dear! May I get some headcanons for fem!Giyuu!reader with Chen Gong or Qin Shi Huang?
Thank you for this wonderful request and for sending me the picture that works so well for this!
Tumblr media
-It had been a few years since you met Tanjiro and Nezuko after they both arrived in Valhalla after being killed by Muzan.
-You remembered Muzan well, as he had been the one to kill you after you managed to take out one of his strongest Upper Ranks.
-They were both children in your eyes, and Nezuko was a demon who had control of her urges, and Tanjiro was looking for a cure.
-You took them in, initially just for a while until they got on their feet in Valhalla, as Tanjiro had been beside himself with anguish that he had died and let Nezuko be killed as well.
-Nezuko wasn’t really bothered, immediately warming up to you, sitting on your lap as you read, listening to you read to her, clinging to your back in her toddler form so you could carry her around more easily while you cleaned around your home, and holding your hand while out and about.
-It made you feel warm, it made you think of your big sister,  a tiny smile coming to your lips, ‘I wonder if this is what Tsutako felt like when she was taking care of me?’
-Tanjiro took more time to come around, it took you bringing him some food, asking him if he was hungry and he slapped it out of your hands, telling you to leave. Seeing what he did, he instantly froze as the tears welled and was quickly in tears, groveling, begging you for forgiveness.
-You pulled him into your arms, hugging him close to you, pressing his head against your chest, which he was incredibly embarrassed about, but you didn’t seem to notice as you let him cry, “I’ll take care of you, Tanjiro, it’s my job as your big sister.”
-That’s how you came to adopt the two as your younger siblings and they both adored you and you had no regrets as your heart was slowly healing, feeling happiness after so long of feeling guilty for not being able to do more in your past, with being a Demon Slayer, and with your best friend and big sister.
-You were a bodyguard for hire in Valhalla, being paid to escort important humans and gods around, as you were very good at what you did and you had many clients that liked you for your stoic nature but bombshell body that you didn’t seem to notice, you were rather oblivious on how sexy you actually were.
-Qin Shi Huang- Being a bodyguard is how you met the first emperor of China, he had requested you specifically just to walk him around Valhalla, as he wanted to spend time with you. After flirting for a few hours into your trip and you responding in not the usual ways, he was quick to realize that you were quite oblivious. So cute!! When you arrived back at the drop off point, running into no trouble, Zheng froze when Tanjiro and Nezuko ran over to you, having waited to pick you up. Nezuko leapt into your arms and Zheng looked at you in awe, seeing the smile on your face, his eyes wide before you patted Tanjiro’s head, greeting him. Zheng learned that these two were your younger siblings and seeing you dote on them, seeing you be so gentle and warm, giving them gentle smiles, he couldn’t help but fall harder! Zheng became a regular visitor to your home, bringing cakes and fancy treats to share with you and your siblings and soon Tanjiro and Nezuko grew to like him as well. Seeing your siblings made you happy and seeing you happy made Zheng happy. Now if he could just get you to realize he was trying to court you, flirting with you, all would be good!
-Chen Gong- He literally ran into you as he was running late, knocking you down and knocking the groceries out of your hands, sending you both to the ground. You weren’t hurt and you moved to pick up your things when Chen Gong sat up, immediately bowing low so his head was touching the ground, begging for forgiveness. He wasn’t expecting to hear a woman’s voice, “I’m all right, are you?” he froze, and his head shot up, panicking that he had knocked down a woman and went to help you when he froze, seeing your bare thigh from the slit in your uniform, as you had just gotten done with a job. Blood immediately spurted from his nose, and he flew back, thinking he could die a happy man. You picked him up after running over, seeing the blood coming from his nose, thinking he was hurt as you laid his head on your chest, “Are you all right?” he could die happily now. Once he was back on his feet, apologizing, you were surprised when he asked you out to tea, you declined for the moment, as you had to get home to your siblings and he smiled warmly, seeing what a sweet person you were and instead he offered to carried your groceries for you. He was cheerful and a lot like Tanjiro, being a ray of sunshine and he was instantly liked by both Tanjiro and Nezuko, which surprised you, but you weren’t bothered, as long as they were happy. This cheerful but strange man was a kind person, you had a feeling you were going to see a lot more of him.

au where (most of) the kamaboko squad is significantly aged down and giyuu is the one to find them all.
giyuu on a mission stumbling across a boy, aged fourteen, taking out all his anger on demons with no uniform in sight, leading him to remember the anger that sabito held in his heart towards demons.
giyuu goes on a winter mission to find a family slaughtered with the two eldest, aged five and six, huddled together in a closet forcing him to remember what tsutako did for him.
giyuu heading through some mountains on his way to a mission only to be attacked by a feral six year old child, who he painfully realises was left all alone in the world, like when tsutako died for him.
giyuu investigating a town for demons only to find a group kicking around a six year old child for fun, forcing flashbacks of when the townsfolk didn't believe that a demon killed tsutako.
giyuu limping back to the butterfly mansion when he spots a girl, no older than five, being tugged around on a rope like some sort of animal, and gets the instinct that sabito would've stepped in.
so then, he has five kindergarden aged children who call him 'chichi' and a traumatized teenager who is morally inclined towards kindness and is trying to heal by helping to raise the kids.
ensue giyuu struggling with what all the kids personally need, from tanjiro wanting to be the eldest even if he isn't, to nezuko also trying to prove she's useful only making things harder, to inosuke showing off how he's the best by making things worse, to zenitsu and kanao's flinching and abusive pasts making genya himself struggle with remembering his own younger siblings and a still-fresh trauma of calling his brother a murderer.
they would all just bring back memories giyuu repressed as well. he would just be reminded of himself or people he knew basically all the time.
but imagine the hashira's reaction. kagaya's reaction. urokodaki's reaction. the uppermoon's reactions. muzan's reaction to priceless beings held in the palm of a hashira's hand.
a child who knows the sun breathing technique. a girl who knows the exact location of the blue spider lily. a teenager who could eat demons and gain their traits. and as the others grew, starting from water breathing but eventually branching to their own, suited breathing- muzan would know he's in trouble, especially as his kizuki get baked.
shinobu poking fun at giyuu: ne ne, why wont you hang out with us?
giyuu, an exhausted single father of six who works a night job and barely even sleeps during the day due to his kids: just kill me already.
but then when they actually ask, he would say he'd have to watch his kids and explain that he has six- holy fuck how does that loser have six whole children with a woman -children they dont yet realise all were adopted, so they go over with giyuu to the water estate to see if it's true.
so, we've got genya. the reason he's only been aged down a couple years is sanemi. que their absolutely shellshocked reunion. giyuu didn't get the chance to send a crow beforehand that they were arriving, and sanemi had absolutely no idea that his brother had become one of his work rival's children.
but, they can't really tell anybody, with the other hashira being overwhelmed by the five kids. giyuu knew bits and pieces but genya begged not to tell sanemi yet so he complied until that visit.
they both just awkwardly stare at each other the whole time the other hashira are there and everyone notices but just doesn't say anything out of politeness.
then giyuu asks how the kids like his coworkers. they all go around saying how much they liked the hashira then it gets to tanjiro. you can tell he's sort of upset from his facial expression, and dead set on sanemi.
genya and giyuu are horrified as tanjiro says he dislikes them because genya smells nervous and terrified. he then runs off, and the other kids immediately agree with tanjiro before following, so everything just spirals.
genya just dashes after them and tries to make them apologize, but it's just awkward silence all around for the hashira as they just sorta look at each other. it is very tense as giyuu leads them out, and genya finally rallies the children into apologizing. anyone could tell how much they were lying through that entire thing.
then genya also apologizes and bows really deep, and none of them really know how to react until sanemi steps forward to pat genya's head, saying it's not his fault and that kids will be kids. a reference to when genya called sanemi a murderer.
canonically, sanemi immediately forgave genya for that all after it happened, and he only acted hostile after genya joined the corps. so they could have a good sibling relationship build when genya's not a part of the corps.
the hashira then depart, and genya bursts into tears. the children rush to comfort him as they're all overwhelmed with how much relief is steaming off of genya at that moment.
giyuu looks back towards the hashira, where sanemi is looking back. giyuu waves, and from the shadows given by sunset, he can see sanemi did the same.
...and the end, this is all i can think about for a scene. might write this out sometime but feel free to see it. it spiralled once i started.

hi! clarification- this isn't a request to write or anything, i just had an idea and wanted to hear your opinion on it
i know you haven't touched the demon slayer scene in a while, but considering uzui's whole nightmare house thing and tanjiro's act of I Do Not See It, do you think that y/n would actually run to another hashira as a last resort?
honestly if yes, i'm betting its giyuu. man is a platonic yandere but would not stand for shit and is probably one of the least insane (although that means. very little in the grand scheme of things). idk i just have the idea in my head of giyuu smuggling y/n into his estate when she needs a break, and going papa wolf whenever uzui fucking breathes in her vicinity, deep-seated insecurities or not. he may not win, necessarily, but dammit will he try.
(can you tell i have a bias-)
No cause I 10000% agree with you. With Tanjirou constantly ignoring your story about being fucking abused physically and psychologically by Uzui+wives, and not paying attention to Nezuko being distressed over your ptsd state, and EVEN looking away when Uzui and the wives are constantly trying to create opportunities to corner you and being a little to touchy with you (and you're flinching away), someone else has to step up and help. And I have 2 people in mind for that.
First, is ofc Giyuu, cause why wouldn't he??? His moral compass is clear as day and he doesn't even need to be a yandere for him to absolutely shred everyone to pieces just to protect you. He can see the fear in your eyes, he can practically feel the hopelessness and anxiety you're suffering through. I think he may even try to convince Tanjiro to see that you're actually telling the truth, but he's not going to break his back to make him believe it. No, he doesn't exactly need him to protect you. Again, I see Giyuu becoming a platonic yandere, maybe more of a brother than as a father figure, and while he's... emotionally stunted, he's going wayyyy out of his comfort zone to console you. Expect a lot of head pats and deep words to assure you. He's a great listener, if it helps. ALSO, I can also see that if Uzui+wives come with other Hashiras to fight Giyuu for you, then Giyuu doesn't exactly have any qualms about joining forces with demons to protect you. Like I just know that if reader vouches for him to papa Muzan and the 12 moons, they would (hesitantly) accept Giyuu and you. After all, he has been the only human so far who's been kind to you.
Another option that I think would step tf up for reader is Sanemi, as a romantic yandere. Because this man, he's got love on the brain and he's fucking KILLING ANYONE WHO TRIES TAKINGBL YOU AWAY FROM HIM. Fr fr, he will actually fight all the hashiras and 12 moons for you. Will he win? No one knows for sure because like I said, he's absolutely batshit crazy when he's in love. Like one peck on the cheek from you is enough fuel for him to obliterate everyone with in 12 miles. Imagine what he's willing to do if he sees you waking up screaming and crying from the nightmares you have of Uzui.

Demon Child Pt. 12
Tumblr media
It had been a few months since the final battle with Muzan. After the battle, the Kakushi helped clean up the town while the surviving slayers healed up. Gyomei had lost a portion of his left leg and now walks with a prosthetic wooden leg. Giyuu’s and Tanjiro’s arms were reattached. Kanao’s vision was restored. Everyone’s injuries were healed. Kyojuro and Sanemi are missing a few fingers. And everyone who manifested a demon slayer mark had their marks sealed, they can no longer use breathing styles. All they can do is total concentration constant.
After everyone was healed, there was a final pillar meeting. After that meeting, the demon slayer corps was disbanded. Mitsuri and Obanai have started to go on dates and moved in together. Kyojuro returned home to his brother and father, they now run a small dojo where they teach swordsmanship. Sanemi and Genya moved in together and have also started a family dojo where they teach women and children self defense. Kanao and Aoi have been studying to become doctors. Giyuu continued to live on his own but was starting to open up. And Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke and Zenitsu moved back to Tanjiro’s old house and lived together.
When Muzan died, the demon half of you died as well. Your health has since been on the decline. You lost half your body weight and nearly died from loss of your demonic half. But Aoi managed to keep you alive and Gyomei has let you move in with him and he helps take care of you. You have trouble moving around and get fatigued very quickly. You’ve lost a significant amount of weight but thanks to Gyomei and Aoi’s diligence, your health has been increasing steadily.
You’re able to speak in full sentences now and you’ve aged a bit. You’re now 8 years old. When you were half demon, your demonic half slowed your aging. Now that it’s gone, your body is struggling to cope with the rapid increase in age. Gyomei has become like a parental figure for you and has adopted you. You live with him now full time and he brings you to visit the others. You’ve had to do lots of physical therapy to gain back your muscles and strength.
After half a year, Mitsuri and Obanai got married. Sanemi was the best man, Nezuko was the bridesmaid. Gyomei was the officiant. The wedding was beautiful and was in spring. They got married on Mt. Fujikasane, underneath all the wisteria. The wedding was beautiful and the reception had a bunch of food. Mitsuri and Obanai were so happy. Everyone wished them well.
Moving forward was very difficult. There were many goodbyes you weren’t ready to say. With peaceful times now abundant, you struggled with facing an uncertain future. With everyone now moving on with their lives, doing their own thing, a small part of you felt an overwhelming sadness. Maybe it was that you felt like everyone you loved was leaving you. Maybe all the change was starting to affect you. You somewhat believed that you’d always be fighting demons, that everything would stay the same. But life is always changing. Nothing ever stays the same.
As you grew older and the years went by, you started to feel lonely, despite Gyomei saying that you’re always welcome to live with him. Your friends were all out there doing their own thing. They had their own lives to live, and you really were happy for them. But something inside of you was breaking and twisting itself into something dark. What no one knew, was that your demon cells didn’t all die. Your demon cells went dormant when Muzan died. They are still alive, just waiting for the time to reawaken.
After many years you came to terms with your feelings and talked it out with everyone. They reassured you that they would always be there for you whenever you needed them. You all promised to have annual get togethers each year as a means to keep in touch and bond over shared memories. As time went on, you learned to live on your own and made a life for yourself, writing stories from each of the pillars and others. You wrote about the adventures that everyone had and published them as a historical/sci-fi novel series. You even accepted your last name, Kibutsuji.
You grew up and you eventually got married and had children. Unaware that your demon cells were passed onto your children. Your novels became popular and sold well. The only people who knew the truth about the novels being true stories were the demon slayer corps. You made sure to throughly document each breathing style and how to properly use breathing styles. You preserved Shinobu’s poison knowledge as well. You made sure that the notes of the breathing styles were well maintained and they became a family heirloom.
~112 years later~
It’s the modern day and everything is peaceful. In a small house in a neighborhood, a little boy was rummaging through his great grandparent, y/n’s, things when he found an old book. It had a bunch of flowers drawn in it and a bunch of writing. As he looked through the pages, he saw a picture of a blue spider lily. He was fascinated by the picture and became enamored with it. Unaware of his family’s dark history with the flower. He kept the book and put everything back the way it was. This little boy suffers from asthma and was unaware of what exactly it was that he had found.
The book this little boy had found was Muzan’s personal journal that he used to write the results and processes of his experiments in. These experiments that he conducted were in attempts to recreate the medicine that turned him into a demon. This journal contained the notes of the doctor that created the medicine, the notes that Muzan took in order to hopefully make the same experimental medicine. After the battle in the Infinity castle, y/n had combed over the wreckage and found their uncle’s journal among the wreckage and secretly kept it
As time went on he began to study the book and became fascinated by the sciences written in it. He later began to conduct experiments in his room as he grew older. He made his own notes and learned the old ways of making medicine. He also began to grow medical herbs and made remedies with them. He learned as much as he could about science, medicine and chemistry. Despite his sister’s remarks that he was a nerd. As an adult in college, he later became a scientist and made a friend. He had told his friend about the blue spider lily and together, they began their search for it.
Eventually they would find the blue spider lily, but the lilies died due to a mistake in their care. However the boy kept a few and took them home so he could experiment with them. He followed the instructions and notes that were in the old journal. Unaware of what he was making. He began to test the medicine on sickly mice, recording their responses to it. He made sure that each mouse had the same illness, Asthma. After numerous attempts and experiments, he finally succeeded in curing one of the mice’s Asthma. Recreating the drug, the man cured the rest of the mice. Seeing the mice cured, he foolishly decided to take the medicine himself.
He took the medicine and documented the results. Unaware of what was happening to him. The dormant demon cell passed down from his great grandparent, y/n, were starting to awaken. As his breathing improved and he grew stronger, he documented everything. After a few weeks, he was shocked when he discovered that he was cured, but he could no longer go in the sunlight. He had been drawing his blood to examine it. He made sure to properly store his blood so it wouldn’t spoil. He hadn’t realized that each of the cured mice had disappeared, turned to ash when the sunlight came through the window.
Having used the last of the blue spider lilies that he took, he realized his dilemma. He also felt an intense hunger. He waited til it was nighttime and went and bought a lot of raw meat. He got home and devoured it, but something just wasn’t right. He noticed that the people he passed by on his way to and from the convenience store smelled really good. Despite having eaten the raw meat, he was still hungry. He tried as hard as he could to stifle his hunger, he became a recluse, he avoided people. But he just couldn’t fight the need to eat.
One night, he went out and followed a drunkard from a bar. With his newfound strength and speed, he knocked the guy out and brought him back to his house where he ate the man. He made sure to clean up the mess, but as he was cleaning, he saw the box containing his great grandparent’s things. He remembered that y/n, his grandparent, wrote novels that they always insisted had some truth to them. Cracking open the box, he began to read the novels. After reading them, he realized what had happened. He became a demon. He became the new demon king.
Looking through the various memorabilia, he found a picture of his grandparent and a bunch of other people, the writing on the back of the paper said ‘the demon slayer corps’. On it was a list of names. He began to search through everything and came to a conclusion. The only way for him to die now, was to walk into the sun. As he put everything back, he accidentally cut himself on a broken blade. His cut healed, so he didn’t think anything of it. So he waited until sunrise, where he would step out into the sunlight. He didn’t wish to become a monster, and he didn’t wish to hurt anyone else.
So when the sunrise came, he walked outside and burned to death. Unaware that his blood was still on the broken blade. The very blade of which his own unsuspecting sister would cut herself on. Unaware of things, his sister simply cleaned the cut and bandaged it. But it was too late. The dormant cells inside of her slowly began to awaken from the small amount of blood. The process was very slow, enough that it went unnoticed. Until it was too late. Unlike her brother, the sister was mean spirited and rude. She didn’t care much for others unlike her empathetic brother. When she realized her newfound strength and abilities, she used them to her advantage. She ate people and became an uncaring monster, the new demon queen. Thus the cycle began anew.

Hi! Could you accept a request for Tanjiro's birthday? A Lee Tanjiro, Ler Tomioka?, I feel like both of them, after becoming close, like to tickle the birthday boy.
Actually the requests are still closed because I can't finish the other fics yet, but since it's about this good-hearted boy (Tanjiro) and his older brother, I guess I can make an exception...
Tumblr media
Lee: Tanjiro Kamado
Ler: Giyuu Tomioka
For Tanjiro, his birthday was strange, he didn't understand why, he was supposed to be happy that day, but personally, he didn't feel like celebrating.
'Why are you angry Nezuko?'
'Mhmhmhm!! Mmmmm!!!' 'Is it... Is it because I don't want to celebrate my birthday?', Nezuko nodded.
Tanjiro rubbed the back of his neck as he apologized, it wasn't like him to not want to celebrate, but nothing seemed to make him happy or excited.
Maybe it was because of a dream? Nezuko looked at the moon and then at her brother, he didn't seem tired and remained firm with his "I'm fine without celebrating my birthday", he didn't seem to be lying.
'Well, I think it's time to continue patrolling, come on Nezuko!' 'HMPH!'
Nezuko didn't hear and ran away, she needed to find help for her older brother, maybe some BDA affected him while they were resting and now that's why he was acting like that, there had to be an explanation and Nezuko would find it.
'Who is she...? Isn't...? She is Kamado's little sister... But what is she doing here? Tanjiro wouldn't leave her alone for 5 seconds, something's up', Giyuu stood up, shook his haori and followed her.
Nezuko became frustrated, she had run and couldn't find anyone who could help her, at least not yet, since she felt a hand rest on her shoulder. 'Kamado, why are you here? And Tanjiro? Have you ever fought? He's fine?'
'Mhm!' 'So? It's not normal for you to separate from him...'
Nezuko stood firm and did her best to explain her problem to Giyuu, she seemed to be successful but Giyuu's face did not convince her that he had understood.
She was about to do her next trick, until a familiar voice stopped her.
'NEZUKO! NEZUKO!! HERE YOU ARE!! WHAT A RELIEF!!', Nezuko hugged Tanjiro while patting his head, perhaps running away like that was not the best option.
Giyuu was about to leave, thinking that Nezuko had just gotten distracted and lost and what she was trying to tell him was to help her find Tanjiro, but he couldn't leave.
'Tomioka-San! It's a pleasure to see you, thank you for taking care of Nezuko, I thought I had lost her...'
'No problem but... Why did she run away?' 'Oh, she's a little angry because I don't want to celebrate my birthday hehehe...'
Tomioka's eyes opened slowly, he didn't know, he felt ashamed because he didn't have anything with him to give and invite him.
But wait, did Tanjiro say he DIDN'T want to celebrate his birthday? Mainly, what did he do at work? If it was hiz birthday he should be resting, not patrolling, but knowing Tanjiro, he would have rejected that offer, oh well...
'Really? And why not? Is there something wrong? Anything you'd like to talk about?'
'No no, don't worry Giyuu-San! Maybe it's just because we're starting the day hahaha. Later I might go have something to eat with Nezuko, that would be enough...', Giyuu crossed his arms, he knew that behavior.
As? Well, it was the same way he acted when he wanted to justify why he didn't want to celebrate with the hashiras.
Tanjiro looked at him confused, what was wrong with Giyuu? He was quiet, more so than normal. 'You should go rest, I can patrol for you...'
'Oh no! As Giyuu-San believes! My night is perfect! I'm with Nezuko and now spending time with you, it's the best gift you could have given me!'
Gift... Gift... Gift... GIFT! The light bulb in Giyuu's head turned on, he already knew he could give Tanjiro a gift!
He sat down, inviting Tanjiro to sit next to him to talk a little more about something Tanjiro gladly accepted.
Once seated, Giyuu took Tanjiro by the wrists and sat him on his lap, leaving the young man confused. 'I don't have a physical gift to give you, but I hope this can make up for it...'
'Giyuu-San, it's not necessary! Ehehehehehee!! Gihiyuhuhu!! Wahahaihit!!', Tanjiro stuck his arms to his trunk, only to trap Giyuu's fingers even more.
The older one laughed lightly, he knew well that Tanjiro couldn't resist tickling, he seemed to like it, after all, he was an older brother, right?
'Stop? Why? I'm giving you your birthday tickles, you're not going to tell me you're hating this...'
'Noooo!! Ihihit's juhuhust...!! I cahahan't!! Plehahasehe!! We ahahare outdohohohohors!!' 'Mmmm you're right... Run air...'
Giyuu smiled through his teeth as he stopped, what did air have to do with...?
Oh no, the only thing that crossed Tanjiro's mind was raspberries, it was the only answer! 'W-wait!! There's no need!! GIHIYUHU-SAHAHAN!! PLEHAHASEHE!! NOT ANOTHER!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!'
'Sorry Tanjiro, birthday rules... How old are you? 16...? Woah, well, so it seems we still have 15 raspberries left...'

Note
idea;
tanjiro does not meet giyuu on the mountain, buthe instead meets uzui. at first the hashira is skeptical of the demon, ready to slay her, but when he notices the gorgeous boy with long maroon hair begging him to spare her he bends over to his will
he thinks tanjiro is flamboyant, and offers to train him and help him become a demon slayer by making him his tsugoku
now hes staying with uzui and his wifes, and no matter how oblivious he may be even he can see theyre severely head over heels for him, so they start dating eachother, as tanjirou is still nervous at the idea of marriage
after the hashira meeting where nezuko was held trial, everyone is not only shocked to see a demon with no want for human flesh, but also a beautiful young boy who calls her his sister. everyone immediately folds, before getting angry when he runs into uzuis arms and kisses him
everyone is just sitting there like "wtf??? HE HAD ENOUGH WIVES WHY CANT WE HAVE THIS ONE"
As soon as they find out they're only dating and Tanjirou isn't married to him yet it's over for Tengen lol.
Btw I have one where Tanjirou meets Tengen first, but he's working in the Red light district.
