#my art #in stars and time #isat #isat spoilers #pokemon #siffrin #mirabelle #isabeau #odile #bonnie #i am not individually tagging pokemon sorry. floragato eevee ursaring scorbunny meowstic <- for anyone who does not know them #im personally a big fan of when artists mold pokemon designs like clay to fit their characters so i tried to channel that #siffrin really does have the perfect mystery dungeon backstory. washes up on a beach with no memories of their past type of deal yknow #i imagine that he was still a sprigatito then? and evolves at some point during their journey? dont ask me for details i dont know them #veryy tempting to make him an absol but ive already seen that done very well!! so i kept most of these to floragato sif #mirabelle being an eevee is suuuch low hanging fruit sorry. i could not resist the evolving pokemon not wanting to evolve trope #i was concerned that sif was no longer shortest party member until i realized they just stand on their back legs all the time to feel talle #when quadruped like mira he is still shortest. sorry siffrin #isa gave me such a hard time. like i never thought i would turn a character into ursaring of all things but it really was the best choice #my other choices were bewear or pawmot if you care. he’s so bear coded #if going purely based on looks i probably would have made odile a sneasler. but i wanted her to be psychic #ill be honest bonnie was purely vibes. they carry the treasure bag :)#never draw bonnie's hat in profile worst mistake of my life #loop is still cat shaped here but i’ve seen the idea of them changing species thrown around. much to think about #i like the idea of the party seeing sif and loop side by side and immediately clocking their entire deal #the change god is mew btw. very important information to no one but myself #eurasie as hisuian zoroark?? lots of hair. and the king can be darkrai #don’t mind the inconsistencies. me and my 2781 ways of drawing the same character #wait what does an eevee look like again. googles it. oh i really crabbed this one up #uhh. looks around. been sitting on this one for a bit too long i think. maybe ill clean up some more sketches later

also quite obsessed with karl being as detached from the story as he is. there's nothing that makes him have to be the detective that has to be involved, but he unknowingly dooms himself by agreeing to work with the KYAL cult. every other detective basically deals with elias head on except weissman, who only meets him right before he kills him. like he's right when he says "by my choices" because everything that leads him to being mixed up with the mannix cult is himself. it's the gambling debts and the choice to do the dirty work for an organisation he knows nothing about. he's the only one that doesn't encounter that body doing police work and it's specifically because he's told to cover it up. he gets himself into the mess and eventually fixes it but the fact that esther always dies in the doomed timelines and he's always too late even if he starts wanting to change things ("till this child. esther.") it just makes me very ill

#sorry jane who heard this on her dms but now im posting it to tumblr cause im having a category 5 woman moment. AND ALTERNATIVELY:#i am also EXTREMELY obsessed with how its a time loop and the idea (so sorry tumblr user whose post i have lost and was inspired by)#weissman was just so fucking hard to deal with that they made sure that he was in their pockets. i just like the idea of the loop--#--having like. fixed points that elias would need to ensure the dystopia (body is covered up/the investigation closes/etc) but #how they get there is a slightly slower process and the earliest loops were the messiest/most unpredictable #and what we see in the show itself is like. the most streamlined version over hundreds of loops and attempts #so karl specifically. lonely that he is and determined to survive. AND with a cruel streak against people he doesn't like #kept nearly blowing their operation so they began to incorporate him in it instead #there's also another tragedy in there if /esther/ is what they realise works best against him..#just love and kindness for a girl that weissman comes to see as family and they immediately exploit it after learning during an early loop #im ignoring specific plot points here (polly seemingly panicking when esther shows up at the station) but I DO NOT CARE.#THERE'S ANGST HAPPENING RN. #isat spoilers #isat act 6 spoilers #isat act 6 secret encounter spoilers #isaloop #in my mind this is isaloop even if u cannot see isa he is there metaphorically off screen u see #seperated from prev cuz it did not distinctly fit the sentimental vibes this is infinitely sillier to me ASFASDA #well that and i kept messing with the way i was coloring it lmao #...okay maybe i will elaborate a bit more in tags ASFASFAS #the thought process was to divvy up the most identifiable wearable items from each party member onto siffrin and loop #these items needed to be reasonably removable ofc #they were also not going to be related to their customs (no bonding earrings for example)#the original plan was to give siffrin miras shawl bonnies hat isas belt and odiles glasses #then i was like ehhhh actually idk if the dangling gem bit is like a custom thing or not since it could be???#so i switched up to odiles coat and miras gloves and rest remained #realized midway thru YOU WOULDNT BE ABLE TO SEE MIRAS GLOVES THAT WELL???#so i gave siffrin the rope belt from mira instead #as for loop the plan was always to give them miras bow and bonnies bracelet #i revisited just the glasses part for odile briefly then thought a lil more and went #i do not think odile would chuck her glasses #hence the book since i dont think i couldve reasonably removed anything else from her #the pants #the pants.#in terms of identifiability to me the striped pants are fun and striking #hence the immediate next thought in the original notes ASFASDAS #however i do not think isa would just??? chuck his pants like that???? esp in context with the rest of the party?????#but in my minds eye this was a little bit funny so yea ASDASDSA #OKAY. tag talk over it is nap time ASFAS

Angela in LC, consistently telling the manager that she felt trapped and helpless and considerably miserable working in LC because she is denied of her individuality and personal choice and personhood and is also denied of any meaningful interactions whether with the sephirot or her own creator, lc hokma saying that what they have done and are still doing toward Angela was inherently cruel, even A at some point knee down to apologize to Angela because he also recognized what he was doing to her is inherently cruel in one of the loop (day 40), Angela in the epilogue straight up saying that she felt abandoned since her birth to the end for nothing hence she wanted to live her own life now, the lines in the dark in between day 47-50 are literally her begging to be noticed one last time:

LC essayist: but we literally can't know Angela's personal motivation until ruina she has never once showed her motivation and she was supposed to be hated by the narrative always and forever in LC

#i think this is less the case of narrative trickery but more case of the fandom being blatantly misogynistic hope this help #also people dont know how to read #absurd with people saying that LC trying to tell us A is good because LC only worked because A is a horrible person #even in his narration he portrayed himself as some sort of monster #and every characters in LC have beef with him pre and even AFTER their personal suppressions #the only difference is that LC made clear that LC cycle is supppsed to be a symbolic cycle of A tried to escape being a harmful person #and kept fall back into pattern because of his uncertaincy and fear and many other things #people who are aware of the loop (Hokma Angela Binah) literally made this very obvious analog toward the players #and literally guys in his head that he must overcome all tell him that kept perpetuating the loop or destroy everything #would be the most comfortable and easy choice for him to make because changing is suffering changing is dying for them #and the reason why day 50 is GOOD is because it is when A decided to move pass those mindset and break the pattern once and for all #when lor binah said that ''the cycle was broken once'' and in the end lor Angela repeated day 50 to break her own cycle of misery #what do yall think it was suppposed to mean #i hate lc essayist i hate lc essayist
