My Graveyard Song
Chapter 15
[Hey...it's me. I'm not dead! *shows up 8+ months late with coffee from the local stand that runs off of caffeine and chaos* I am chronically slow and no im afraid it probably will not get better. We are getting closer to the end of the story. Love y'all!]
Jason takes care of the bill while Cass let's Barbara know they'll be heading her way. Danny fidgets, food forgotten in his anxiety.
He's kicking himself for not remembering about Jazz. Someone clearly important to Danny and in some sort of trouble the last time that Danny saw her. He doesn't let it slow him down and soon enough he's on his bike with Cass while Danny follows from above.
Babs, bless her soul and praise her endlessly, is all prepared with writing utensils. She has Jasonâs set of programmable buttons which he just realized did not come to his place -she must have redirected it here- and the various programs she uses to find people open on her computer and ready to go.
~âą~
Since Dannyâs memory is vague, there are a lot of files to go through, and Barbara has given him free reign to poke around her little base of operations.
It gives him a reason to not pace. He takes an old broken laptop and starts deconstructing it meticulously. Keeping his hands busy, keeps the rest of his body still and allows his mind to run over endless possibilities without focusing too closely on the worst case scenarios.
Jason is off in the corner, helmet off, murmuring into his Red Hood phone. Danny is purposely listening to the hum of the many fans and the sound of the massive AC used to help keep the super computer cool. He really doesn't wanna eavesdrop, especially if it's about him.
The last piece comes apart in his fingers and he pauses just long enough to feel the buzz beneath his skin get louder and then promptly starts to reassemble the laptop piece by piece.
Judging by how his soul remains within his body, he's successful at distracting himself from the anxious energy.
"It's just putting it to good use," says a voice from the past. It must be something he's done before. Jazz, his mind supplies.
His hands stop.
Jazz said those words to him. He can feel the way her hair tickles his cheek as she leans over his shoulder in an effort to annoy him into listening to her. The gentle squeeze of fingers on his shoulder which contradicts her other actions.
In every inch of her body language there is, love, love, love...
A hand, gentle but less familiar, landing on his shoulder jerks him out of his head. Something wet hits his hand and he flinches, only just now realizing that it's his own tears. He's crying.
He sucks in air through his teeth harshly. The air shudders it's way back out of his body and with it bursts the dam holding back his emotions.
A sob tears its way from his throat. It physically hurts. The sob and the emotions both.
He barely notices how Jasonâs attention jerks to him and the stilted words he says into the phone.
"Not them, but we are here," Cass murmurs in a low raspy voice. It's her hand on his shoulder. When she goes to remove it, Dannyâs hand snaps up to stop it without thought.
Slowly he pulls her hand across his shoulder, to his face and presses his forehead to meet it part way. He probably looks pathetic like this, clinging to a near-stranger's hand and pressing the back of said hand to his face with such desperation. If he's not careful his ecto might decide that absorbing people is a great new thing to do. It certainly seems to like to do new impossible things every other week.
Or at least it used to. Before...
Will it again? Is he still the same as he was before? He's scared to change back. He's never stayed ghost and gone without air or food or water for so long.
Danny is scared.
He hiccups when Black Bat runs her fingers through his hair. They ghost along his scalp and the familiarity of it has his breath hitching into a sob.
He's a mess. His mind and body twisted and broken in ways he might never be able to repair. He's lost time, so much time... time in which anything could have happened to those he wants to protect. Those he failed to protect.
He barely realizes he's leaning into Black Bat's warmth until her arms circle him. She runs gentle hands in soothing circles along his back. She lets out a sort of chirr from the back of her throat which seems to surprise her.
He needs to know what happened to Jazz. He doesn't want to know what happened. He needs to know how long it's been. He doesn't want to know. He needs to know what's happening now. He doesn't...
His sobbing eventually peeters out into a buzzing whine from his core. Black Bat still holds him. She knows. She knows. She Knows.
She doesn't try to tell him, "It's okay," or any of the useless nonsense many people spout whenever someone around them is in tears. It helps that she knows.
He's not sure how long they stay like that, her crouched next to him, arms looped firmly around each other. Surely she's uncomfortable by now, but she shows no signs of it. He should go back home, with Jason.
(Jason is home now, what a thought that is)
However, whether he's at home or here, he'll be doing the same anxious waiting. At least here, he'll see the information as it comes in. No one can keep it from him in some effort to protect him or something.
(Call him paranoid, but he's pretty certain someone has done something similar in the past.)
His memories are still sparse and unspecific. He'd probably have to sleep in order to retrieve more and he'd really rather not. Sleep feels too much like being trapped again. He thought that was getting better back when he was still a dog, but maybe that's because he was never truly asleep. Even the thought of sleep sends hot jolts through his ice core, an uncomfortable feeling to say the least.
He's thinking too much.
Right before he moves to pull away, Black Bat relaxes her hold and makes it far easier for him to disengage. His core makes a sound not unlike a small stream running over rocks, "thank you, thank you, thank you."
She nods, and grabs the edge of her cape to send it fluttering in a way that she somehow knows conveys, "You're welcome. Safe."
He's not sure how she knows it but that's not all that important to him right now. He turns to the basket of gadgets and electronics to pick out something else to disassemble and cannibalize for parts to add to the partially assembled laptop.
~âą~
Jasonâs crimelord phone rings not long after they've arrived. Danny is already deconstructing a laptop in a nerve fueled fugue state. Every once in a while his edges do this sort of glitch that's more than a little concerning.
His caller ID says it's Bill. He accepts the call.
"What you got for me, Bill?"
"Ya know that insane amount of footage you asked me to look through for suspicious activity?"
Jason hums an affirmative. Danny doesn't seem to be listening in on Jasonâs conversation. Good.
"Well I was startin' to think you was yanking my chain but I found somethin' you might qualify as suspicious activity. I've sent it over our server."
"What is it?"
"Some out of townie wackos takin' some weird coffin thing into the cemetery real late."
"You said they're from out of town?"
Dannyâs sudden sob distracts him from the call momentarily, so his next words aren't thought through.
Cass waves Jason off. She'll handle it, she can read people and she's worked hard to learn how to put that to use helping people in distress.
"They had an armored white van, hoss," comes the reply, deadpan.
"Fair 'nough."
"Was all very villain lookin' n not the low key kind. Has a logo on the side, maybe you can clean it up n read it."
"Thanks Bill. I think this might be exactly what I was hoping to find. You can expect a nice bonus for this."
"Not a prob, boss."
Jason hung up his phone and shuffled over to the nearest device with server access. There's a series of codes and phrases he has to input before he has access to the server but once he has the file up, he sees the two clips time stamped hours apart. The first is short and shows the duo arriving in their suspicious as hell armored tank/van/motor home. It cuts off after they head into the cemetery with tools.
Jason doesn't want to see the other clip. He knows what is on there and he still doesn't want to see it. He clicks on it before he can chicken out. He watches avidly until the perps unload that horribly familiar metal contraption. It's there that his breath stops and his eyes lose focus. He double checks the date of the footage.
4 months...
Spooky, no, Danny was there 4 months before Jason died, 10 months by the time Jason was resurrected. It's been almost 6 years now...
God, Jason would have gone insane. It's a miracle that Danny is as put together as he is.
He sets his jaw before snapping a screenshot of the van and its logo. He shuffles over to Babs and passes her the tablet with the screenshot pulled up.
Jason glances up to find Danny in the middle of some sort of break down and Cass comforting him. It breaks his heart, but it's probably healthy for Danny.
She's quick to take in the new info and plugs in the tablet to her computer. She's clearing one of the screens and opening her photo cleaning program while the photo finishes uploading.
By the time the photo is cleaned and somewhat readable, Danny is back to reassembling the laptop, although Jason is fairly certain he just saw a piece of a walkie talkie go in there.
A sort of horrified fascination creeps up his spine the longer he watches Danny attach parts together that quite frankly have no physical way to attach to one another and have no business being anywhere near each other.
A tap to his side, finally pulls Jasonâs attentions away from the technological abomination being built just across the room. His gaze jumps first to Babs and then, at her prompting, to one of the smaller screens.
Enlarged and cleaned up, the side of their van shows a very large stylized [f] with more letters tucked along one of the lines.
[Fenton]
Next to it, Babs had pulled up some related searches and specifically clicks on one that shows a family of four, two of whom are wearing bright jumpsuits matching the suspicious pair driving the van. The couple wearing them on this website also match the suspects from the surveillance footage in terms of body type.
Without a word, Babs highlights a specific name in the description underneath.
[Jasmine]
Specifically, Jasmine Fenton, the Fenton couple's daughter. As Jason scans the little "About" paragraph, he has to do a double take upon spotting the name, Danny. Further up their son is referenced as Daniel, but evidently he goes by Danny.
One coincidence is just that, a coincidence. Two coincidences and it's time to start looking closely.
Jason knows it's too early to assume anything, but he has a strong feeling that all answers lie with the Fentons.
Upon closer examination of Danny Fenton, he notes some similarities to Spooky Danny.
He points out the name to Babs and she quickly runs a search only to blanche at the results.
At the top of the list is an article detailing the disappearance and death of 15 year old Danny Fenton.

Hi guys it's a Christmas miracle that I actually managed to finish a fic đ
Anyway enjoy this no crash and no jimjam fic!! If u tag this as ship I'll get u
If you want to read it on ao3 its right here
Fic under the cut!!
Curly stared at the scene in front of him, cursing the fact that his responsibility as captain means he has to deal with stuff like this. Daisuke, with a look on his face somewhere between sheepishness and a pout, is stuck in the emergency foam. With Swansea glaring at the kid like he's the cause of all his problems, unfair, but the kid was trouble sometimes. They've only been on the ship for close to 5 months and there's already been several incidents like this, usually with Daisuke as the unintentional culprit.
Curly can't ever bring himself to be mad at the kid though, he's a good kid and he only wants to help out, he just needs to listen a little better. âWell. I see the issue here.â He says. Swansea's glower is turned on him. âThe kid was brought on just to make me suffer!â He snapped, âIntern my ass.â He grouses. Curly sighs, waving Swansea off, âGo, I'll deal with this, I'm the only one with access to the axe case anyway.â He ignores the man's muttering as he storms out of the room, the door closing behind him.
Turning around to face Daisuke, he raises an eyebrow. âHow many times has he warned you not to mess with the vent now?â The kid pouts, âI was just trying to help! How was I supposed to know it would trigger the emergency foam?â He wiggles a bit while he's talking, trying to free his hands from the foam. He gets one out and starts slowly digging out the other hand, which is quite a ways deeper in the foam than the other one was. Curly clears his throat, and when Daisuke looks up at him, gives him a stern look.
âYou should know better than to mess with the vent, it's collapsed inside since before this voyage and you've been told that it's too dangerous for even Swansea to try and fix.â He raised an eyebrow. âYou've only worked on this ship for 5 months, you're nowhere near qualified enough to fix the vent, it could kill you if you try, at the least it would hurt you pretty bad.â As he's speaking, Daisuke droops, ashamed and embarrassed. He sighs, ruffling the kids' hair. âI'm not mad at you, kid, I don't want you to get hurt and Swansea doesn't either. It's why he's so hard on you.â He gives him a reassuring smile, which Daisuke hesitantly returns.
Curly stepped away to get the axe out of its case, pulling out the code scanner to make sure he puts in the right code. When he grabs the axe and starts walking back, he sighs as he sees Daisuke's nervous look. âCan't you just use your hands and pull me out? I got my hand out on my ownâ He says with an uneasy grin. Curly leans the axe nearby, resigning himself to calming the kid down. âIt's too thick for me to pull you out of it, the only reason you could get your hand out was because it wasn't deep in the foam. And,â He raised an eyebrow. âYou wouldn't be in this situation if you had just listened to Swansea.â He shrugged.
Daisuke still looked hesitant, and Curly struggled to think of something to help the kid calm down. The last thing he wanted was him freaking out and getting hit with the axe on accident. He thinks back to earlier in the week during game night, after losing at sorry for the third time in a row Anya had started to tickle him to distract him from the game. The tickle fight that happened could have gone down in history. It would calm him down, and Daisuke never seems to mind it. Plus, maybe it would finally stick that he needs to be more careful and listen to what he's told.
He raises a hand and starts poking at Daisuke's side, grinning at the immediate giggles it elicited. It was always hard not to smile when Daisuke laughed, he's so bright and energetic that his joy and laughter are contagious. âWaihahait!â He squealed and covered his face with his free hand as Curly moved to scribble at his belly. âDaisuke, I'm not even doing anything,â he laughs softly. âLiahahar!â He shrieked when Curly poked at his belly button.
Curly stopped to give Daisuke a moment to breathe before smirking at him. âIs that any way to talk to your captain?â Daisukes eyes go wide. âWaihahait! I dihihidn't mehehean it! Dohohohnât!â He pleaded as Curly reached for his free hand. He halfheartedly tries to squirm away, but the foam might as well have been concrete with how tough it was to move through it.
Curly, pausing as he gets a slightly evil idea, hums to himself. âdon't what?â He asks, hiding a grin. Daisuke walks right into his trap, âtihihickle mehehe!â He giggles out. Daisuke freezes, eyes wide, as he realizes that he just fell for the oldest trick in the book, and one that he himself uses often. His nervous anticipatory smile grows as he stares at the silently grinning captain.
Curly lightly drags his nails around his palm and down his arm, listening to Daisuke's panicked laughter fluctuate as he goes back and forth. âAwww does it tickle, Daiske?â He can't help but tease. He's met with squeaky giggles as he draws closer to his palm.
Curly waited, letting the anticipation build until Daisuke started to get fidgety. Then he strikes, spidering down his arm and scratching at the palm of his hand. Daisuke's giggles get wilder as he unsuccessfully instinctively tries to pull his hand away.
After a moment, he lets go of Daisuke's hand, giving him a moment to breathe. âAlright kid, let's get you out of that foam.â Curly said, picking up the axe from its resting spot. Daisuke nods, still giggling slightly, waiting for Curly to chop through the thick foam before shaking out his body from being trapped in the foam for a while.
When free, he rubs at his palm, chasing away residual tingles. He seems to remember what got his stuck in the foam in the first place, and his head droops, expecting a reprimand. Curly sighs softly, pulling Daisuke into a side hug and ruffling his hair. âLike I said, nobody's truly mad at you, just worried because you could have gotten hurt or worse. Just don't do it again and you'll be fine.â He grins at him, and Daisuke smiles back.
âAnd you should cheer up, don't think I won't go for round two. Now, go help Swansea, I'm sure he needs your help right now. â He says, poking Daisuke in the side a couple of times. Daisuke squeaks and moves away a bit. âOkahahahay! Message received!â He laughed out, walking towards the door. He pauses at the entrance for a moment. âThanks Curly.â He says with an embarrassed flush, before scampering out of the room. Curly watches him go with a fond smile, turning around to get rid of the rest of the foam.

jeon jungkook fics that had me going feral
hi guys, here's a part 2 to my favorite jjk fics on tumblr! note that many of these fics contain 18+ content. you are responsible for the content you consume! as always, if you enjoyed any of these fics as much as i did, please take a moment to send some love to the authors! part 1 | other bts members
âș cold nights & blurred lines - by @awrkive
summary: jungkook and you have been in a sexual relationship with each other for four months now, and itâs casual for the most part. but as time passes, you canât help but feel that some of the lines suddenly got blurred in the process. is it a clichĂ© to blur the lines with your fuck buddy? it definitely is. will you do something about it? both of your emotional constipation have a hard time saying yes.
âș night crawlers - by @alphabetboyluvr
summary: jungkookâs always been good at running. track, field, red lights, shit outta luck. drugs, now, too. but he doesnât expect to run into you. in your shared lecture halls, sure. maybe. but not down the back alleys of daerim at ass oâclock in the morning. there are only three types of women he ever sees in daerim: hookers, sugar-babies and addicts. you aren't any of those; you're a trust-fund baby who can get percocet on private repeat prescription, if you really want it. he's sure of it. so it then further begs the question: why the fuck are you here?
âș this is how you fall in love - by @jeonqkooks
summary: after years of drinking and clubbing most days of the week and leaving every gig with a different girl on his arm, jungkook feels what itâs like to want someone with his entire being.
âș the dilf installments - by @mercurygguk
summary: this series follows jungkookâs life as a divorced father. but wait, how exactly does one balance being a father, a boyfriend, a friend, and a respectable boss at the same time? read the installments below to find out!
âș ultimatum - by @parkmuse
summary: your pervy, idiotic boyfriend just so happens to also be your friendly neighborhood Spider-man (in bed).
âș a hero's journey - by @hansolmates
summary: jungkook and jisoo are the mightiest power couple. however, one drunken confession and that whole facade fades in an instant. you realize that maybe you need to break from your unvaried life for a bit and be the hero of your own love story
âș tempest - by @kooktrash
summary: youâve always considered your life to be more mundane than you would like to admit. it was a constant cycle of the same things over and over again that when you meet jeon jungkook at a bar, of all places, you didnât expect to see just how much he would change your life and those around you. heâs got an air of mystery around him with his charming good looks and a violent past that you slowly begun to unravel when it feels like everything is going perfect.
âș by its cover - by @gimmesumsuga
summary: the one where Jungkook makes a horrifically bad first impression.
âș slow dancing - by @yoonia
summary: when your countdown appeared on your wrist right in the morning of your eighteenth birthday, you had thought that perhaps the universe was on your side, especially since the final seconds were already ticking so soon. You just never expected to have your first meeting with your soulmate to be the day when you had to let him go. But hope was not lost when you still found love without the bond, and Jungkook showed you that it was possible to find happiness beyond the system that was written for you. Except that the universe doesnât seem to have enough of its game, when your past sacrifice comes back hitting you straight in the face, just when you had believed that you had written off the perfect ending to your bittersweet tale.
âș e s p r e s s o - by @joonberriess
âș hold me closer - by @ahundredtimesover
summary: when you're asked to look after your parents' house and meet them before they go on vacation, you, Jimin, and Jungkook take the trip to your hometown of Busan and relive memories of your youth. While your new relationship has you feeling like a lovesick teenager with all the affection that Jungkook shows you, you're still you - a professional trying to make it in the corporate world, and an eldest child trying not to disappoint her parents. And that turns out to be your undoing, as a little blunder causes a rift between you and Jungkook, resulting in a trip that you might as well have messed up⊠Not if your brother can help it, though.

Mel is alive, but at what cost
Mel was nearly killed TWICE, her mother began being a struggle, she'd been thrown aside and trying her best to stop her, her boyfriend is not doing well, neither is anyone else (can't blame them) and the fact that she hadn't cried or spoke much about this situation to anyone a single time?? She IS upset about every single thing, yet she stays strong and enduring every bit of torture. The most she did was tell Jayce that Ambessa put her palm on the table, and let him know that she is going to push for hextech. That's it, nothing remotely related to her feelings.
The fact that she was constantly looking at Caitlyn, being able to understand her grief and knew she was in pain?? Mel knows this feeling. She'd went through it.
And in the end SHE has to pay the price of her mothers incompetence.
The intro is very much foreshadowing, we know the hands represent black rose/LeBlanc.
This is what happens in act one, she gets kidnapped by them. The lyrics do correspond to the characters as well (not just Mel, everyone.)
"Tell you you're the greatest" plays as a petal of the black rose floats down the screen, I think it adds significance to the power this organization holds, possibly the Medardas greatest foe.
"But once you turn, they hate us" both Ambessa and Mel were present in this line, I think its foreshadowing for when Ambessa switches up for whatever reason and goes against both Piltover AND Zaun. And Mel WILL go through change as well, a change that could hurt her relationship with others, and receive interest from others too.
"They hate us" could be read individually too, I feel like its a sort of "realization" ?? Perhaps Ambessa WASN'T the one that switched up, maybe Piltover switched up on them, and maybe Mel JUST got out of wherever she's taken to, and saw the mess Ambessa had done to her city??
I think this represents ACT TWO.
The hands pull away and it sort of looks like Mel is fighting back, a "get away from me" type of scream. you know what this reminds me of??
Don't mind me just pushing my Jinx/powder-Mel parallel agenda
Here is when i think Mel truly learns about LeBlanc/BR, she curiously and slowly goes to grab the rose, she learns about the history between her Mother and them, Kinos death, and most of all, learns about HERSELF. The lyrics speak otherwise.
"Pray away, I swear
I'll never be a saint, no way"
This feels like a parallel to caitlyn of sorts if that makes sense. Caitlyn had done everything to try and stop the council from attacking the Undercity, she kept her mouth shut when Jayce asked about Jinxs grenade, she was willing to protect Vi and the undercity, but how many times has she been tossed around? She'd been burned, exploded, kidnapped (god knows what happened during that time) and hit in the face by the same person, her MOTHER died because of the same person. She has every right to go insane. And she is hunting ONE person, which is Jinx. Although she is harming the people around her along the way.
What if Mel goes through a similar situation? Her mother pushed for war in her city, she dragged the enemy along with her even if she didn't mean to, she manipulated everyone around her INCLUDING Jayce, she LITERALLY got Mel hurt from the chembarons attack and killed so many people during a MEMORIAL to get her hextech weapons, Elora is most likely DEAD, not to mention whatever happened in the past between them. And the thing is, this will NEVER end throughout the entire season.
And what if she learns what she is? That she's 'blessed' by Kindred? The fact that the wolf is quite literally in her blood?
I feel like the "ill never be a saint, no way" also sort of indicates Mel will realize she'll never be able to push for peace and mercy like she always hoped for no matter what, and she comes to accept that as much as it hurts. But not like how ambessa accepted the wolf, but she sort of realizes she needs to push a little violence, towards nobody but the one and only, Ambessa "fine, if you want me to be like you, I guess I'll be like you towards YOU." Type of acceptance.
I think its also related to Mels new outfit too, she's dressed like her mother, in red and all of that. I will still stand by the idea that she has plans to decieve, but she will do something she doesn't want to do.
Mel was left with no choice, that lyric sounds like realization, acceptance, but also like a plea at the same time, an "I'll never be who I wanted to be" because in the end, she's still a Medarda, she's still her mothers daughter, she still has violence in her veins, she will never not suffer from the weight her name holds, and she will never escape it either, its like a shadow.
The Characters won't be themselves at their core this season. And those vital parts of their characters that represent them are no longer there in the intro, they all have given up what makes them, THEM design wise. (e.g.) Vi without her tattoo, Viktor hiding his identity with the mask. And the thing is, they did that to themselves because they do self-harm, they're changing themselves because THEY want to, they're forcing themselves to do that, they think they're undeserving and they're erasing their past selves.
But Mel? Mel doesn't have her gold accessories, Jewelry, or her Armor, she'd been stripped bare and hidden away because of the brutality of her name. She pays the price her mother brought to HER city. She's forced to change herself against her will, because nobody is giving her a chance to push for her ideals.
This entire theory never ends, and with all of this? I kinda do see Mel actually committing Matricide, it lifts the "Ambessa will die" theory further.

the christmas eve dash II l.williamson
second of my yearly christmas fics and part of the mila universe! the christmas eve dash II l.williamson
"lee? baby can you come here for a sec please!" you called out to your wife, hearing her footsteps change direction and head toward where you were holed up away in your shared home office.
"whats up babe? i'm just about to go pick up the gremlin." leah jingled her keys as she leaned in the doorway with a curious frown, mila at her weekly karate practice.
"christmas checklist!" you tapped your pen against the wad of paper in front of you as leah swallowed the dry witted comment lingering on the tip of her tongue.
"hit me with it." the blonde nodded encouragingly instead, moving into the room as you rattled off the last few remaining tasks on your list, forever having been the organisational mind between you and leah.
"-then you need to go pick up that spa voucher for your mum, i'll get the gift hampers for my cousins. we need to get some chocolate stockings for my nephews, the jersey your brother wanted is ready to be collected from JD-" you read off, leah humming to acknowledge each thing.
"-then we'll do mila's santa sack on christmas eve once she's asleep, or i'll do it." you paused to shoot your wife a pointed look as she winced, having had one whisky too many last year and falling into the christmas tree at three in the morning while the two of you were busy putting out your daughters presents.
"i said i was sorry! she didn't wake up, did she?" leah defended as you clicked your tongue. "didn't she?" you reminded, leah wincing again as she thought back to the two of you falling over yourselves to hide when little footsteps had come thundering down the hall.
"you are so lucky i can think fast dopey." you warned, having managed to commando crawl your way to your room and intercept your daughter from behind as if you'd been asleep there the whole time.
you'd rambled out an excuse about santa being able to turn invisible so he can hide from the police as the four year old questioned over and over why she couldn't go and say hi or open her presents now.
"-and then you got mila the barbie deluxe dream house. have you wrapped it yet? i couldn't find it in the closet with everything else for her." you spun around on your chair and quirked an eyebrow, leah freezing for a second.
"i got the what?" the blonde asked cluelessly as your eyes narrowed, hands moving to grip the arms of your chair as you exhaled slowly. "you got the barbie deluxe dream house with the swing sets, the slide, the elevator and the pool." you started, pushing to stand up.
"aka the only thing our daughter has been talking about for the last three weeks and the only thing she's asked santa for for christmas, leah." you spoke calmly but your wife could immediately pick up on the sharp scent of malice hidden behind your words.
now she needed to think fast.
"oh! that dreamhouse, the bright pink one with the little slide yeah yeah yeah." leah scoffed, smacking her palm against her forehead. "i got it ages ago babe, forgot all about it! you can tick it off your little list." the blonde grinned confidently with a wave of her hand.
"you did?" "well you asked me to, didn't you?" "well where is it?" "its uhh..." leah trailed off, wracking her brain for an answer, your foot tapping impatiently as you stared her down, arms crossed and hip jutted out to the side.
"it's at lia's! it was too big to hide and you know what mila's like." leah chuckled and you hummed. "mm nosy? wonder where she gets that from." you teased, relaxing a little more and leaning in to peck her lips a few times appreciatively.
"well thats a relief, it's sold out country wide. good luck to anyone who was planning on some last minute shopping, that stupid chunk of plastic would be impossible to find!" you chuckled, returning to your seat and your list as leah hid the panic building rapidly in her body.
"but what our little angel wants, she gets." you made a point to tick it off your list with a deep exhale. "mm and i wonder where she gets that from, princess." your wife teased, ducking down and stealing a kiss before you could argue with her.
"well i'm off! might take her for a kick around if she's got loose energy to burn off. bye babe!" leah sung out, practically already halfway out the front door before you could even look up, jumping in shock hearing it slam close after her.
alone in her car leah slumped into her seat, staring blankly ahead and running her hands down her face with a frustrated groan, moving to grab the steering wheel.
"shit!"
~
"-then we learned this one that went HIYA AYA HIYA!" your daughter chanted, punching and kicking at thin air as leah clicked the buckles of her car seat in, just ducking out of the way as little arms and fists began swinging.
"thats really great bubba when we get home you can show me everything, just give me a second to call aunty beth yeah?" leah flashed the girl a smile who shrugged, busying herself practicing her karate as leah shut the door.
"come on come on come on." leah chanted as she clicked call, tapping her foot impatiently as the dial tone rang and rang, right as she was about to hang up and move to her next option finally it clicked through.
"well well miss leah catherine, to what do i owe the ple-" leah didn't even let the poor girl finish before she was jumping in.
"imayhaveforgottentogettheonlypresentmilawantedandifidontgetitbothmydaughterandmywifearegoingtokillmeonchristmasandiamsoabsoloutelyutterlyfucked!" leah rambled out in one breath, beth going silent for a moment.
"come again? in english this time please if you would be so kind." "i may have forgotten to get the only present mila wanted and if i don't get it both my daughter and my wife are going to kill me on christmas and i am so absolutely utterly fucked." leah exhaled shakily, wiggling her fingers at mila through the window who knocked and pulled a face.
"so you've clearly called me to make funeral arrangements then? well i was thinking instead of a euology i could-" "beth come on man! i'm serious here, i need help."
"well that's quite the understatement. but right, whats the plan then captain?"
~
"-baby are you sure you don't need anything?" you asked softly, knelt down by the bed and pushing a few loose hairs out of your wifes face. "nah just some rest babe, i'm so sorry i can't make it." leah croaked out as your lips curled downward into a frown.
"don't be sorry lee, i'm sorry you're feeling so miserable on christmas eve, of course today of all days your migraines come back. " you pressed a gentle kiss to her temple, nails scratching gently at her scalp as your wife sighed.
"get some sleep, i love you." you pecked her lips sweetly before you pushed to stand, hearing little foosteps come thundering down the hall as you did.
"woah! we have speed limits in this household little miss ferrari." you scooped her up before she could launch herself up and onto the bed like you knew she'd planned. "little miss aston martin!" mila frowned and poked at your chest, your wifes little cheeky smile up at you in response having your eyes rolling.
"say bye to mummy but be gentle please mils she's not feeling well. remember?" you set her back down as your daughter nodded. "one for you, one for me and one for your sore head." mila pressed three kisses to leahs cheek who smiled, stretching a hand out to pinch the five year olds cheek fondly.
"thank you bubba, you'll give nanna an extra big kiss for me yeah?" leah warned as mila nodded dutifully, squealing as leahs fingers dug into her side and she grabbed onto your leg hiding behind it.
"get some sleep baby." you chuckled, ducking down to peck her lips again, hearing some enthusiastic gagging sound behind you. "yuck!" your daughter retched as your eyes rolled again. "hey bubba?" leah called out, mila peeking out from where she'd hidden her face behind her hands.
"leah!" you laughed as your wife pulled you in for a sloppy kiss, mila falling to the floor dramatically and covering her face again, pretending to throw up everywhere as you gently smacked your wifes shoulder and she winked.
"come on trouble, lets go let you loose on that poor nursing home."
leah waited patiently in bed until she'd heard the front door shut, and then heard the car engine start, then till she heard it back out of the driveway, and then another five minutes just to be sure.
the two sharp honks in the driveway was all she needed, leaping out of bed already dressed and ready to go, grabbing a beanie and some sunglasses on the way and wrestling on her shoes as she hopped to the front door.
"stop honking you idiot my neighbours!" leah hissed as she hurried down the front steps, beth honking her hello and rolling her eyes at the way the blonde yanked the beanie down her head as if it would disguise her somewhat when she'd come flying out of her own house.
"good mornin to you 007! where we goin first then?" "tommys toy world, and step on it!"
~
"leah man how many more places are we going to be laughed out of? get the kid a samari sword and call it a day, she's into her karate now ain't she?" beth groaned, leah huffing impatiently and taking her hand, yanking her down the travelator mumbling apologies so everyone she pushed past on the way.
"i can't beth! i said i bought it months ago and-" "-and you'll be in the doghouse until next christmas. yeah yeah yeah, need i remind you got yourself into this mess leah? i told you ya memorys bad!" "yes beth i am well aware whose fault this is, which is why i need to get myself out of this mess! for the sake of my child and my marriage!" leah huffed, only letting go of the younger girls hand the moment they stepped into the toy store.
"sorry." beth apologised quickly to an older gentlemen who leah had nearly bowled over in her haste, the man grumbling about basic manners going missing this time of year as he walked off.
this store the ninth one they'd trekked to already this morning beth was well aware of the drill, rolling her eyes and trudging after leah who wasted no time sprinting off to wherever the barbies and accessories were kept.
she grabbed some toys for myle along the way, stopping for a second too long to admire a lego set before a hand grabbed the back of her jumper and violently yanked her away.
"don't you manhandle me williamson!" beth scoffed smacking her friends hands away but hurrying after her none the less. "oh for fuck sakes come on there's gotta be one fucking dream house left in london!" leah swore, eyes scanning the aisle which was assaulting bright pink and made beth wince at the sight.
"so sorry." beth apologised again but this time to to the horrified looking mother dragging away her toddler whose ears were firmly covered, beth sending a weak wave the girls way before she dissapeared.
"can i help you?" a worker appeared seemingly out of nowhere, concern ingrained into his features as leah grunted and grumbled to herself, riffling through the shelves as beth hurried to put back what she took off.
"god i bloody hope so mate." leah groaned, dragging her hands down her face with a stressed exhale as the worker chuckled. "last minute shopping huh?" the man chuckled as beth snickered. "you have no idea." earning her an elbow and a glare from leah.
"what are you after? we did just get a last minute pallet that hasn't been unloaded yet so i can check if its out back, we're about to restock the shelves since we're open until nine tonight for people like yourself." the man smiled kindly as leah perked up and beth snickered again in amusement, her shopping done weeks ago.
"barbie dreamhouse." leah hurried out, the man nodding and punching something into the little black box in his hand. "we have the malibu playhouse, the 60th anniversary edition, kens mojo dojo casa house-" the man read out as leah shook her head.
"no no, the deluxe dreamhouse. with the swingsets and the slide and the pool and-" leah couldn't even finish before it happened, the same response she'd gotten at every single store so far today and then some.
"that? you're looking on christmas eve for that? do you know how many have been sold country wide in the last week let alone the last month? its the toy of the year! not to mention sales have skyrocketed since-" the man laughed as leahs face fell, then very quickly distorted into a scowl.
"yeah brilliant. do you have it or not?" leah interrupted, crossing her arms as the man gave her an incredulous look. "of course not! its been sold out for weeks UK wide, you don't read the news?" the man laughed in disbelief, though his question fell on deaf ears as leah turned heel and stormed off again.
as much as beth tried the stony faced blonde didn't say another word until they were both back in the car. "fuck!" leah swore, smacking her hands against the dashboard and making her friend jump.
"oi! respect the vehicle. its not her fault you left all of this to the last minute!" beth warned, sticking her key in the ignition as leah ignored her and pulled out her phone, exhaling with a small amount of relief as she checked your location and could see you still weren't home.
"right. where to next?" beth sighed deeply, leah slumping back in her seat. "that was the last one." the blonde responded bluntly, beth wincing and whistling quietly under her breath.
"call it a day and head home then? i'll drive slow so you can practice your grovelling and begging for forgiveness." beth shrugged, grinning as leah shot her a dry unimpressed look.
"no, not home." "leah then where-" "it's time to pull out the big guns." "call your wife, explain what happened and take her anger on the chin?"
at that leah scrunched up her face with disgust. "god no." leah shook her head, leaning forward and punching in the address as beth watched on curiously, a puff of amused air leaving her lips as she recognized it right away.
"i've got no choice beth. i've gotta call in the godmother."
~
"-so you lied." alessia cocked an eyebrow, sipping at her tea as leah exhaled heavily. "not lied but-" she fell quiet at the fiercely withering look sent her way by the younger blonde across from her.
"okay yes. i forgot and i lied and i am so so so unbelievably screwed less." leah whined, her own cup of tea left empty on the coffee table as the defender slumped down into the couch burying her face in her hands.
"yes, yes you are." alessia agreed with a nod, leah peeking out with narrowed eyes. "i came here for advice! not for you to agree with me for once." leah mumbed moodily as the striker smiled, sculling her last mouthful of tea with a hum.
"i have a feeling things are about to look up for you lee." was all the girl said, squeezing her knee as she stood, grabbed their empty mugs and headed back to the kitchen.
"how!" leah called after her with confusion, attention grabbed by the sounds of a key in the door, eyes widening at the familiar little thump of feet which followed.
"aunty lessi!" mila squealed, ignoring your shouts after her to take her shoes, coat and scarf off as the five year old came barreling into the kitchen. "hello little marshmallow." alessia grinned, scooping up the small girl and kissing over her face making her giggle.
"i'm puffy!" mila smacked her coat covered chest as you arrived and rolled your eyes with a smile, alessia sitting your daughter down on the counter and helping her to shrug off her many layers as she babbled on and on and on about their day.
"shit! shit shit shit shit." leah whispered in a panic, crouching down and trying to peek over the top of the couch as her mind scrambled to try and think of an escape plan, groaning quietly as she realised that came to a screaming halt when she didn't have a car, beth dropping her off and leaving.
"hi babe." leah sprang up like she'd sat on an electrical wire, coming thumping back to the ground with a grunt, staring up horrified at your scarily calm smile which looked down at her.
"um i can explain! it is not what it looks like." leah tried, running a hand through her hair and stumbling over herself to think of a valid excuse. "save it leah, i knew you'd be here eventually. granted maybe not just yet, you hit the stores faster than i thought!" you shrugged honestly, rounding the couch as leahs mouth formed an o and she pulled herself to stand.
"sorry. pause, rewind, repeat. come again?" leah asked slowly, sure she'd heard wrong as you chuckled. "please. leah baby we've been together for years, you think i can't tell when you're lying? faking sick? my love you are a terrible actor." you laughed with a shake of your head.
"forgive me, i'm a little lost here." was all your wife managed to get out, the two of you glancing over your shoulder at a thump and the sound of laughter, alessia stood with mila sat on her shoulders, making the girl with a pit of a stomach a sandwich.
"hi mummy, mama and i missed you!" mila noticed, waving furiously at leah from the other room who cautiously raised a hand and waved back, alessia sending her a wink and recapturing mila's attention as you clicked your fingers to gain hers.
"come with me williamson." you patted her chest with a wink, nodding for her to follow you as you took off down the hall, leah following you slowly, feeling a little as though she was walking to her own funeral.
the older girl hung in the doorway, watching as you rummaged through the wardrobe in alessia's spare bedroom, which judging by the arsenal sheets and toys strung about anywhere was basically your daughters room, mila loving her 'big girl' sleepovers with her aunties, alessia most of all being her godmother and your closest friend.
"close the door please." you spoke with your back still to her, leah hesitantly stepping inside and doing so. "sit on the bed." you asked next, leah still highly suspicious but also quite scared to say no wasting no time following your instructions.
"eyes closed."
"if you're going to kill me i'd rather see it coming darling." leah sighed making you snort out in laughter, shooting her a look over your shoulder as your wife sighed but closed her eyes none the less.
she flinched a little feeling something touch her hands, making your eyes roll as you assured it wasn't a weapon. "open." you smiled, half the package in her grip as the other remained in yours.
it was rare the outspoken defender was speechless, however clearly the sight of the toy she'd just spent the last six hours hunting for in perfect mint condition, sat in her hands, had rendered her tongue and words void.
"but-but-but-" she eventually stammered out as you merely smirked and nodded. "yes, yes, yes." you countered, tugging it out of her hands and setting it carefully down on the floor, leah immediately sliding off the bed and dropping to her knees.
"the barbie deluxe dreamhouse. with the fridge, the swing sets, the slide, the pool, the-" "yep, everything, all the bells and whistles." you took her seat on the edge of the bed, leah giving you an incredulous look. "but how did you even..." she trailed off, eyebrows scrunched together in pure utter confusion.
"please. leah did you really think i wouldn't have everything organised?" you scoffed quirking an eyebrow as leahs mouth opened and closed and she shook her head back and forth.
"so you knew-" "that you were lying? yes." "and you already-" "bought it weeks ago? absolutely." "but then you-" "sent you on an impossible wild goose chase around london for something i knew you wouldn't find and i already had? i most certainly did." you confirmed with a confident nod as leah seemed to crumple into a heap.
"i'd encourage you choose your next words very very carefully my love, especially if you'd like to have a merry christmas." your tone sharpened as a scowl set into your wifes features, wiped away as soon as it appeared.
"oh leah, get off me!" you huffed as within seconds she'd pounced, pinning you to the bed and kissing all over your face mumbling her thank you's. "i'm still mad at you! you lied to me, and i gave you the chance to be honest." you warned, leah stopping with lips puckered hovering just over yours, wincing and sitting up.
"oh really leah!" you groaned as again she flopped down on top of you, now mumbling how sorry she was as again her lips rained down kisses on every inch of your skin she could reach.
"get off me you dickhead and put the dreamhouse away before mila see's it!" you warned with a roll of your eyes, pushing her off of you as the blonde hurried to do just that, slotting it back on top of the cupboard where it was well out of sight or reach of your overtly inquisitive five year old.
"i really am sorry. so so so so so sorry my girl!" leah winced as she stood in between your legs where you'd sat up. "oh you will be. you're on clean up duty, today, tomorrow, tonight, boxing day, new years eve, new years day-" you rattled off, words swallowed by your wife leaning down and pressing her mouth against yours.
"done. i love you." leah pulled away and promised, shuffling back a little to allow you to stand up as you hummed. "i love you too, even if you are hopelessly disorganized." you sighed with a small smile.
"well thats why i married you." "don't push it williamson." you warned as she grinned, stealing another kiss as a crash was heard and both of you looked to the closed door.
"we should probably go sort that out." leah sighed, starting to head for the door as you tugged her back, hand slipping up her hoodie and fingers playing with the waistband of her jeans.
"let less tire her out for a bit baby, the earlier she crashes tonight after some movies and the cookies you'll sneak her when you both think i'm not looking, the better." you smiled as leah chuckled, unable to argue the fact.
"more time to play santa." leah agreed with a wink, pecking your lips and tensing a little as your fingers poked into her abs and you leaned up to speak into her ear a little more.
"mm and once the presents are sorted, i'd quite like to sit in santas lap, maybe give her sleigh a ride if she's earned it." you whispered, leah jolting as your hand smacked against her ass and with a cheeky grin you were sauntering off leaving the door open after you and your wifes cheeks flushed red.
"dear god i love christmas."

Ê LUCIFER .
how many rounds has it been? you honestly lost count. your ability to recall memories from earlier tonight slowly slips out of your grasps with each deep thrust of lucifer's hips. the sole thing you're able to focus your mind on is the sensation that travels throughout your whole body every time he hits that one spot inside of you, the feeling of multiple fire spark burning through your nerves.
his breathing is as ragged as yours, his usual slicked-back hair now messy and sticking to his sweaty forehead. your fingers fist the soft pillow supporting your face on the wide bed that you share, whimpers and cries being the only sounds that pour out of your sore lips. lucifer gives a moderate playful slap onto your bare hip, earning a small whine from you.
"such wonderful sight, look at you." his hand slides from your hip until his thumb reaches to stretch your flesh, revealing white streams of thick liquid rolling down from your pulsing hole to your inner thigh, an evidence of your partner's previous releases filling you up full. he watches the way his seeds spill out with every push of his hips, when his dick takes up the space inside of you instead and forcing the liquid to be squeezed out.
his tongue pokes out to lick his lips, his free hand once again moving forward to wrap its fingers around your neck firmly. with a soft hum, lucifer pulls your upper body up from the previous position, now having your back press against his chest. you can feel the rise and fall of his chest, the faint thumping of his heart through the layers of flesh.
you can barely feel your legs. they had gone numb from how long you've kept them up, the blood flow being reduced and now leaving you with legs that you can barely control by yourself. you gasp at the feeling of lucifer's length reaching deeper inside of you, the tip poking at places that you never knew one could reach inside of you. your hands moved by themselves and held onto whatever that can support your body on this new position, lucifer's ruthless thrust now increasing its pace without mercy.
he keeps a hand wrapped around your neck, holding you still while the other explores your body despite already left countless marks and touch on every inch of your body. your head tilts back to rest on his shoulder, moans and cries never stopped rolling off of your tongue as lucifer whispers sweet nothings into your ear. it was then he felt something he did not feel on your body before this.
curious, his thrusts slows down just a little as his eyes peek from beside your head, his hand caressing the bump that he feels on your stomach. he feels his breath hitch, realizing that the bump would poke out every time he thrusts into you. he feels heat spread all over his body, like he's growing aroused all over again despite the previous releases.
you hear him mutter something along the lines of 'you're so attractive' followed with a few curses. he harshly thrusts into you, digging his hips deep into yours while holding a hand of yours to the same area where your belly would bulge with every thrust. you feel the air of his breath hit your sticky skin as he snickers.
"be good and keep your hand here for me, yeah? we're going for a few more rounds."
Ê ALASTOR .
"yes, keep going my dear. you're doing great." alastor's clawed fingers dig into the sensitive flesh of your hips as you lower yourself further down onto his length. his words may sound like sweet praises, but his tone hides a hint of petty tease while he speaks. such an annoying demon he is, always teasing you by making you work yourself on him just so he could grab every chance possible to run that dirty tongue of his.
you grumble lightly, ignoring the smug look on his face as you pause your actions, earning a confused look from the demon laying below you. he allowed a short staring contest with each other until he got impatient with how badly he needs to feel your walls pulse around him. he mutters something incomprehensible, tightening his grip on you and forcibly push you down without warning to take in every single inch he has to offer.
your breath catches in your throat almost instantly, eyes widening in surprise and gradually rolling to the back of your head. alastor has an advantage, and he knows just how to use it in his favor. he chuckles at the sight displayed in front of him; you, the same person who had just tried to tick him off earlier now struggling to adjust to the size of his dick stretching you apart.
of course, he knew this is exactly how you liked him to play even though you never directly expressed it.
alastor completely retracts almost all of his length, leaving just the tip nestled in the warmth of your walls and watches you clench around nothing as if you're asking for him to fill you up again. your teary eyes glance down at him, unhappy at the fact that he's still playing tricks on you before letting him draw a loud moan from you with a sudden thrust of his hips.
your arms reach out to catch your body from the back, body leaning back. you struggle to keep yourself upright while riding him, your legs giving out easily as per usual. your hips rock along with his, your sweet spot constantly being stimulated because of how perfect this angle of position is.
alastor savors every reaction and sounds from you, his eyes twitching ever so often from how well you squeeze around him. the bulge on you belly catches his eye; his pupils shake with excitement, muscles pulsing at the delicious sight of the bulge disappearing and reappearing. his mind grows fuzzy from the strange enjoyment he never knew he had for things like this.
"ah, fuck." a clearly audible groan slips past his lips, his hips involuntarily buckles up as ropes of hot release paints your inner walls. his static voice seems to crackle slightly when he cursed which indicates that he feels good. really good. your heart jumps with excitement yet your body crumbles, the coil in your stomach snaps quickly after alastor's, pushing you into a moaning mess.
oxygen seems to have escaped his lungs as he pants for air, the back of his hand covering his eyes. the heat on his face is painfully visible even in the dark room you're currently situated in and the blurred vision you have from tears gathering around your eyes. you were about to move and cup his face to adore his blushing look before his voice rang through your ears, stopping you.
"ah ah, stay there now. keep putting on a pretty show for me. i'm still up for more of it, you see."
Ê VOX .
"isn't the mirror perfect? my eyes never miss." vox laughs at his own playful comment yet his lustful eyes never left your reflection in the mirror. you advert your gaze from his hungry ones, unable to even properly look at yourself in the mirror without getting all flustered again. the clothes currently hugging your body is a sensual outfit that vox had specifically tailored for you, with the perfect size and design to his liking. anyone would be lying if they said you don't look luscious for eyes to feast on.
of course his comment wouldn't be on the mirror alone, it was mostly towards the outfit you're wearing. he hums, pulling your body closer to his till you're both tangled together in front of the big mirror, your back stuck to his chest. his lips sucks on the sensitive skin on your neck, kiss marks blooming all over like flowers during the spring season. hell, even the noises you make sound extra alluring tonight.
vox's hand slide down your body and presses firmly on your stomach, drinking in your whines as he presses on something bulging. bullseye. he recently discovered that you especially love it when he does this, and it also arouses him a ton.
"mm. you like that? wanna feel my dick from here while i fuck ya?"
a hard exhale leaves your lips as you nod, intertwining your fingers with his and allowing him to have total control over your body. he chuckles at the tightened walls around him before rocking his hips. moans spill out of your lips as he guides your hand to press against your stomach, making you feel just how deep he's going.
"eyes on the mirror, baby." you do your best to lift your eyelids and slide your gaze onto the big mirror set in front of you; vox's eyes glow like a hunter looking at its prey in the reflection, peering from your shoulder.
you question if it was the right choice to drag your lover out from the office he's always holed up in to shop at multiple stores today. he was reluctant at first, making up different excuses to stay in his office. 'i could just have them deliver to our doorstep, baby! we're rich as fuck, remember?' or 'another day, let me stay in today.'
if it wasn't because of how stubborn you were to drag him out even for a small walk, he wouldn't have agreed to go out with you and got a ton of stuff, including this mirror that's sitting by the wall, in front of the bed.
you feel immense embarrassment burning all over your skin from how you're completely displayed in the reflection for the both of you to see, yet your eyes lock with the demon's through the mirror. his smile is brutal. "there we go, now don't look away."
his merciless thrusts brought more blood rushing to your face along with shameless moans from you, followed by grunts that's audible to you from vox. your legs tremble, threatening to give out and the loud sounds of skin slapping gradually fills your head, cutting out the ability to comprehend anything in you.
your gaze fixates on the belly bulge that's painfully visible in the reflection, the sight only tightening the sweet coil hidden in your stomach. the demon groans at you squeezing around his length, knowing that you're enjoying this as much as he currently is brought him dangerously close to the edge. it wasn't long until the both you reach peak, vox pulling out just in time to witness the beautiful sight of his seed staining your inner thighs.
one thing's for sure, he definitely loves going on shopping sprees with you from now on.
Ê VALENTINO .
work pissed him off. valentino always had a very short temper and gets ticked off by the smallest things at work the moment it doesn't goes the way he wants them to. and the easiest way for him to cool off? it'll either be a good smoke or dragging you to somewhere less busy for a quickie. perhaps both works as well, if he wishes for it.
your body presses up against the cold, hard wall as his breath tickles the back of your ear, his slippery tongue sliding and flicking around damping your earlobe. his actions are quick and rushed, yet somehow careful with everything he does to you by not going too rough on you.
his lower pair of arms slightly fumbles while undressing your lower body from how narrow the space is. you wanted to ask why didn't he choose somewhere with more space, but words stopped right on your tongue when he suddenly inserted his full length into you. you cursed and press your forehead against the wall hard, a strange mixture of pain and pleasure blooms in your stomach while struggling to breathe, adjusting to his size.
"relax a bit carino, you're gonna squeeze my dick off if you don't."
"doesn't help, val. that- fuck w-wait," valentino doesn't allow you to finish your complain, cutting you off with a rough thrust. your words turn into whines, nails digging into his arms that are wrapped around your trembling body. he carried on teasing you with irregular thrusts before pulling out fully, a mysteriously playful chuckle bubbling from his chest. you glance at him with a confused expression.
it wasn't long until you hear a familiar buzzing sound of a vibrator. he barely gave you enough time to process the information and question him, inserting the small toy deep inside of you. you gasp; the weird feeling of something vibrating inside of you made it hard for you to understand what to feel. it felt so weird to the point where it's pleasurable, something so unfamiliar yet a turn on.
"what the fuck are you- hey! that shit's still inside- val!" moans slip in between your words as valentino's length replaced his slender fingers inside of you, the tip pushing the vibrating toy deeper into your pulsing walls. choked moans are let out from your throat, the brimming tears spill from your eyes and down to your cheeks.
valentino pushes both of his fingers that were used to insert the toy into your mouth, muttering praises as you instinctively lick and suck on them. your tongue slips in between and around his fingers, coating it with your saliva while some spills out from the corner of your lips and rolls off of your chin.
he shows no mercy with his ruthless thrusts, the toy growing a weird pleasure in your stomach by hitting the perfect areas inside of you. with how deep it is, your belly bulges with every rough thrust of the demon. val whistles the moment he notices it, his gaze now only fixates on your stomach from above, admiring the bulge as his thrusts only grew harsher.
hell, even the size of his dick seems to be growing bigger while your velvet walls remained engulfing it. any thoughts regarding his work are now clouded and replaced with lust, yearning for more of you.
"know what? go on and cum for me, amor. we'll take this to the bedroom then."

Dc x DP #50: Accidentally Kidnapping a (ex) Crime Lord
(I've seen that reverse trope list, so I just had to do it. I might do more in the future. But for now, here's accidentally kidnapping a mafia boss in dc x dp format) Jason awoke with a low groan, slowly lifting his head as his eyes blinked to take in his location.
It had happened so quick. So quick that he couldn't even blink.
There was word going around Crime Alley of a new stray making their way around. Which wasn't new given that it's Crime Alley and Gotham altogether, but there was definitely something wrong with the kid.
Apparently everyone who met him got some odd vibe. Like there was something wrong with him. Many said that he was a meta on the run, but there were others that didn't believe that.
And when Jason found out he was in Crime Alley, it was like something cold walked through him. Like someone was walking over his grave. Figuratively and literally. Something bigger than him was in his territory. Something dangerous. And every bit of him said that it was the new kid.
So Jason set out to look for him. He wasn't going to let the others find out about this, not when it was on his turg. And perhaps if he could figure out what he was, perhaps ask why he calmed the pits in such a way.
He looked into the kid, a Daniel "Danny" Nightingale from the looks of it, and that he was only sixteen. No talk about any parents, but there was word of an older sister, Jasmine Nightingale, that was going to Gotham University to study psychology. But other than that? Nothing. Zilch. As if the two appeared out of nowhere. LIke ghosts.
So, Jason took to tracking him physically. Trying to figure out where he went and if he met with anyone in particular that might raise suspicion. Whether it be some other thugs or a some gang of some sort. But he had no such luck. Not because he wasn't meeting anyone, it was he always lost him. Every corner he turned, he was always gone when Jason walked around to follow him. It was like the kid was a ghost. Did he know that he was being followed?
It was late one night when Jason caught sight of Danny on his own, walking down the street with his hands stuffed in his pockets. Thinking that he was either going to meet someone or head home, he decided to trail him and see if he could finally fill another piece of this puzzle that was Nightingale.
Jason was right on his heels as he turned the corner leading to another street, ready to confront him. But once again, Nightingale was gone.
And before he could even curse or question as to where he could've gone so quickly, a heavy thunk was heard as something heavy hit the back of Jason's head. The last thing he saw before losing unconsciousness was a pair of worn sneakers as as the attacker approached him.
Which lead him to here: tied up in a worn down apartment. Nightingale standing across from him in what he supposed was a threatening manner. A baseball bat with a faded glowing green sticker on its base. Jason could make out the word 'Fenton' on it and made sure to look up that name later once he was out of this mess. But for now, he had to deal with NIghtingale.
Jason turned his attention to him, but with his helmet on he doubted Nightingale could tell whether his gaze shifted to his chosen weapon or not. But the slightest movement was enough to tell Nightingale that Jason was indeed awake from his unconscious state.
But before Jason could speak or make any comment about the situation, Nightingale beat him to it.
"What do you want with me?" He asked bluntly. It was one question that Jason wasn't expecting, so he stared at Nightingale confused.
"What?" Came the robotic reply of his voice filter. Apparently that wasn't the right answer as Nightingale let out a frustrated huff and waved his bat towards him.
"What do you want with me? You've been following me for some time and it's getting annoying? What are you? A thug? A goon? Or are you another rogue trying to make it big. Gotta say; not a good start just by stalking someone if you were."
His words had shocked Jason to his core for various reasons. One: he didn't know who Jason was. Two: apparently he was skilled in knowing when he was followed and Jason couldn't tell. And three: HE DIDN'T KNOW WHO JASON WAS!
Jason let out a dry laugh as he realized that he was serious about his questions. Nightingale has been here for months at least. So how did he not know about the notorious Red Hood? His reputation usually brought fear to those. It was strange for someone in Gotham not to know about him.
"Do you seriously not know who I am?" Jason asked, his eyebrow raised in a question even though his hood covered it, he was sure that Nightingale understood his confusion. His blue eyes shining in confusion as he tilted his head.
"No? Are you a rogue already? Ancients, they keep popping up every week." He groaned, rubbing the bridge of his nose. And while Jason could agree to the sentiment, he needed to get to the bottom of Nightingale and what he was doing here. And whether or not he was a threat to Gotham, or at least Crime Alley.
"I wouldn't call myself a rogue. Not anymore at least. The name's Red Hood, kid." Jason answered gruffly, eyes still focused on Nightingale as he waited for his reaction.
Nightingale titled his head at the name. Recognition flashing his eyes as he heard it.
"Red Hood? But isn't that guy that runs crime alley? Why would that-"
His eyes widened in dawning horror, his already pale skin seeming to get paler as he came to a realization as he stared at Jason. More specifically, his hood.
Jason expected some panic. That perhaps Nightingale might even try to knock him out again or hightail it out of his apartment. But instead he just continued to stare at Jason in ever growing horror as he whispered,
"Oh Ancients, I just kidnapped a crime lord." Now, there was a lot that Jason wanted to unpack from this interaction, but for some reason the first thing that came out his mouth was-
"It's ex crime lord."

want a handwritten letter from a character? / join the discord
When your friend had suggested you get a pet, this is not what you imagined.Â
A cat or dog perhaps, even a fish would've made more sense, this whole thing started with you coming into the shelter asking for just that.
Youâd asked about their cats or even their smaller dogs, but theyâd all either been adopted or were reserved by potential owners.
âHave you considered a hybrid?â Those five words, and your inquisitive âA hybrid?â Is what landed you in this situation.
The lady excitedly lead you through a few different doors until you were in a room that overlooked a large spacious area.
âThereâs so many of them,â you muttered to yourself, but it was clearly loud enough for her to hear you.
âNot many people want a hybrid, they prefer a traditional cat or dog,â her tone was melancholic, and a pang of guilt hit your chest. That was exactly what youâd done.
âChances are the majority of these guys will spend their whole lives here,â she sighed sadly.
A high pitched yelp interrupted her train of thought as she perked up to see who the culprit was. It seemed to be a pink haired girl, her matching feline ears were pressed back against her head whilst another hybrid had their hand raised into a fist.
âJinx no!â Your guide leaned over the small balcony to scold her. All the hybridâs snapped their attention to where her voice was, but the blue-eared one slowly lowered her fist and skulked off to another corner; content that the conflict was over the rest of the room relaxed and continued what they were doing previously.
However, one pair of eyes remained on the balcony.
You couldnât place it at first, but then you spotted him. His eyes were so piercing that you quickly avoided eye contact.
âWhoâs the one on their own?â You asked quietly as if he could hear you. The vet leaned into you and the excitement was radiating off of her.
âThatâs Jayce, our chocolate Labrador hybrid,â she paused for you to ask questions, but continued quickly anyway.
âHeâs been with us for about 3 months, he was completely feral when we found him. Heâd been abandoned by his previous owner when he was a puppy and was surviving on his own for so long,â her voice lost its usual joyful lint the more she spoke.
âWhen he arrived he was practically uncontrollable, we thought weâd have to separate him from the others entirely,â she paused as she realised her voice was getting louder, âBut he bonded well with one of our felines, Viktor his name was, but he was adopted quite quickly-â.
The entire time she was talking your eyes kept darting back to who she was talking about.
He was sat in a chair with with his leg on his knee, away from everyone else, his annoyed gaze continuously on the balcony as if he knew he was being spoken about.
â-We encouraged them to adopt the two of them as a pair, but they didnât want a canine, so he stayed with us. Unfortunately, some of his feral habits returned but he mostly keeps to himself now,â she finally finished her monologue.
You furrowed your eyebrows with empathy and glanced towards her, "He's lonely, like me," you commented and put your elbows on the railing to rest your chin on your palms, overlooking the space again.
His eyes were still on the two of you, you could feel it.
"Do you want to meet them?" the vet asked a little too swiftly.
The thought bounced around in your mind for a moment, contemplating if you should even entertain this idea; but as you looked around the room you felt your heart ache for them.
You sighed as a sign of conceding to the idea, "Yeah, why not?" you pushed yourself up off of the balcony and turned to the vet, waiting for her to start moving.
The smile on her face was one of relief and joy. It was clear that not many people were jumping at the opportunity to adopt a hybrid, let alone even entertain seeing them.
It didn't take long to get to the 'sanctuary' door - that's what she called the main communal area for them - she swiped her key card and the door beeped open.
For some reason your heartbeat increase slightly as you stepped over the threshold and into the room.
"Hello everyone!" she said in a slightly elevated voice, not loud enough to be shouting but loud enough for it to carry throughout the room. "We have guest today, she's very nice so don't worry," she warned them.
Although the atmosphere didn't feel hostile, it didn't feel welcoming either. The majority of them observed you from a distance.
There were so many questions you had, but you didn't know where to start.
"If we take a seat over here we can let them come to us," she lead you to a sofa in the middle of the room, but as you sat down she moved away to a cabinet to retrieve a big folder.
The time you were alone was minimal but a spike of anxiety went through you, some of the hybrids moved closer to observe you but never close enough to speak to any of them individually.
The vet returned and sat next to you on the sofa, placing the big folder onto the table, "We have all the information on the residents in here," she didn't open it but left it for you, if you felt inclined.
It didn't take long for the blue haired feline from before to bound over and sit next to the vet, "Hello sweetie," the vet said as the feline put her head on her shoulder and started playing with her hair.
"This is-" she started, but this time you interrupted, "Jinx?".
Both the vet and Jinx looked up at you when you spoke, "Yes! She's quite the troublemaker, especially with her sister Vi," she pointed at the pink-haired feline that was being bapped earlier.
"I see," you spoke slowly as you opened the folder to their joint page. 'Must be adopted together', it read in bold under their photos.
"As they're actually siblings, we can't have them separated, it wouldn't be healthy," she explained as she started to tighten one of Jinx's braids.
It reminded you of her story from before and you instinctively raised your head from the folder to where the Labrador hybrid was sitting before, he was still staring at you.
"What type of space are you working with?" you were thankful she was asking you questions, you felt completely out of your depth.
Your eyelids fluttered in surprise, he must be territorial, you thought.
"Just a one-bed apartment," you eventually answered. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw the vet lean back to glace at Jayce and her lips curled into a smile again.
"Ah," the noise of disappointment, "That's not a lot of space for play, if you were to adopt it would need to be someone more relaxed,".
She leaned forward and started flipping through the folder, unclipping certain pages and laying them in front of you.
"Unfortunately, they're all a little rambunctious here, but these are who I'd recommend," she'd placed two folders on the table.
"Caitlyn', and 'Ekko", she said aloud even though their names were written down in front of you - Jinx stuck her tongue out and made a 'Bleh' noise when she said Caitlyn.
You spent some time reading their files, they seemed nice enough, two felines; but the whole time you were reading your mind kept drifting back to the one who's eyes you could feel in the side of your head.
"What about-" you started, pausing for a moment to reconsider if you actually wanted to suggest this, but before you could get the courage to complete the sentence the vet interjected with a surprised "Jayce?!".
You glanced up from the pages to ask her how she knew what you were going to say, when you realised there was a large figure basking you in his shadow.
Immediately, your heart started beating quickly again and a nervous rush went through you. "Oh, hello," your voice shook as you spoke.
Now that he was closer you could see that his eyes were a golden yellow, which complemented his chocolatey brown hair pretty well. His nose twitched as if he was also rethinking his approach, or he was catching your scent.
"Jayce, this is..." the vet started the introduction and waited for you to say your name out loud for him, which you did.
His eyebrow raised slightly as he seemed to look you over; from your shoes to the top of your head.
Before, it felt like you couldn't make eye contact with him, but now you were struggling to look away. There was a sadness in his eyes that you recognised all too well, he was lonely too.
Unsure of how to manage the situation, you stuck your hand out for him to shake. He studied your hand silently and without movement, you were starting to think you should put your hand down when he slowly took it.
His hands were large, much bigger than your own and very warm. Although he didn't move his hand, he held a gentle grip on yours and watched where they connected.
"Nice to meet you, Jayce," you tried to say as softly as possible and timidly shook his hand up and down. His brown ears twitched slightly at the mention of his name.
After a few long seconds he let go of your hand and with a quick exhale he walked away.
You blinked a few times and lowered your hand, "Did I do something wrong?" you asked the vet, she chuckled to herself "Not at all, I'm actually surprised he showed any interest at all, he normally never moves from his spot,".
"Oh," was all you could say.
After some time, the vet stood and gestured for you to do the same, leading you towards the exit, "We should leave them to it, we try not to overstimulate them with new people too often,".
Once you were out in the halls again, you asked "Why's his hair so long?". Whilst it wasn't an unmanageable length, it was certainly dishevelled and outgrown.
"He doesn't really let people near him, let alone people with scissors and a razor," she laughed, "Like I said, he still has some feral tendencies, nothing that we're concerned about but it does mean he's a bit scruffy sometimes." she explained.
You nodded slowly to show your understanding. Whilst you felt yourself being drawn towards Jayce, the more you heard about his behaviours the more you were thinking that you weren't cut out to have a hybrid.
"I don't think Iâm capable of looking after someone like him," you confessed even though it physically hurt your chest to say.
The vet chuckled again, "When it comes to hybrids, they look after themselves. All you really need to do is feed them, give them a home and attention when they want it.".
She picked up the folder again and flipped through the files, "I know it might seem overwhelming, but we don't just let anyone adopt our hybrids, there's a vetting process to it," she said as she handed you another file.
"What about my apartment? It's only one bedroom, and he's quite..." you didn't know what word to settle on, "Large,".
She nodded at your concern, "Ordinarily, I'd say it was an issue, but for a canine like Jayce, he just needs companionship and intellectual stimulation.".
You took in her words, you were hoping she would agree and tell you that it wasn't possible, that it wasn't meant to be. Then you could let this go and move onto something less demanding.
"Take this home, have a read and see how you feel. If you're still interested we can set up another meeting," you took the file from her and held it close to your chest.
Over the next couple of days, that's exactly what you did.
You read the file over and over, it felt like every detail was engrained into your brain, along with those piercing yellow eyes that were so full of sadness.
He was like you. As much as you hated to admit it, he was your reflection.
"Hello?" you spoke into you phone, the voice on the other end greeted you and asked you to verify your name, which you did.
"How can I help you today?" the receptionist was characteristically bubbly, "I'd like to set up a meeting, please?" you asked hesitantly.
The line was quiet, save for the tapping of her fingers on the keys, "Of course, is that for Jayce?" she eventually said and you felt a bolt of excitement charge through you.
"Yes, please," you confirmed. A few more details were exchanged and the meeting was set, "Perfect, we'll see you tomorrow at 1pm!".
The evening went by too quickly and too slowly at the same time.
Luckily, you worked from home so you were able to be fairly flexible with your availability, despite your morning being relatively unproductive.
Instead of doing your job, you'd spent the first three hours of your shift researching canine hybrids; their needs, requirements and any medical issues.
You'd only just started researching about feral hybrids before you realised the time, 12:30.
When you arrived he was sat in the same chair as before, but this time he wore a black tunic with the sleeves rolled up.
If not for the fluffy ears and tail, you'd think he was a business man or politician of some sort.
As you approached him - with the vet in tow - he stood.
It took you by surprise and your steps faltered. He blinked a few times and his eyebrows softened slightly for a second, before putting his hand out the same way you had a couple days prior.
A soft smile came across your lips as you tentatively took his hand and shook it, heâd copied your gesture to make you comfortable. His touch felt familiar, as if he was someone youâd known for years.
Despite the gentle nature he was showing you, his eyes still bore into you like he was trying to figure out if you were a threat or not.
When he eventually let go of your hand, he sat down and his eyes looked between you and the chair opposite him. He wanted you to sit as well.
You glanced at the soft armchair behind you and side stepped until you were in front of it; before you lowered yourself down, you turned your head back to Jayce to check this is what he wanted.
When there was no change in his demeanour, you plonked yourself into the soft cushions less than gracefully, it was a lot lower and bouncier than youâd anticipated.
âHe got this out when he heard you were coming today,â the vet said from behind you, honestly youâd forgotten he was there.
Youâd somehow failed to notice that on the table in between the two of you was a chess set, set up and ready for a game.
âIâm sure youâve already read his file, but Jayce here is very intelligent, he loves these types of games,â the man sounded so proud.
Meanwhile, Jayce stared at him with a displeased facial expression, like he was waiting for him to stop talking.
âIâll leave you to it, but Iâll be over here if you need me,â the man gave you a small wave as he moved to the other side of the room.
This was the first time you and Jayce were somewhat alone, there was a spark of excitement as well as nervousness.
You just hoped he liked you.

âąMasterlistâą
The apocalypse hit and everything happened so fast, I was with my family at our farm for some time watching the news, listening to the horror stories on the radio, we thought that we could go unscathed since we hadnât been affected and that all the food and water we needed was on our land but all that changed one night when a hoard of walkers ran down our farm, my parents were first trying to fight of the walkers, quickly being ripped apart their screams still lingered in my head whenever I thought about them, then it was my two sisters trying to flee but got surrounded taking them down as well, I was lucky enough to get to my truck finding an opening in the walkers and driving away from my home, leaving me all alone on the road
Now itâs been 2 years going from place to place just trying to survive, to find a reason to keep living in this cruel world, Iâve been able to dodge as many walkers as I can, that wasnât the main problem anymore, the food shortage was what dwindled my hope
My truck had broke down a while back so now Iâve just been wandering on foot, walking through the trees trying to get some shade from Georgia summer heat when I hear a groan and thud, I follow the direction of the whines on a left of what have might caused it, walkers, people, god knows what now a days
Rounding a tree I see a horse laying down on the ground, I approached slowly not wanting to spook it having experience with horses back on the farm, kneeling in front of it petting its soft black mane
âHey girl, what are you doing out here all alone?â She didnât look injured she was laying down fine, maybe she just got hot it was one of the hottest days Iâve ever lived in even in Georgia
I took out one of the bottles of water I found poring some of it over her face to help cool her down then poring the rest in a bowl I had in my bag and she was quick to drink it
After some time I stood up taking her lead rope trying to get her to stand up, I couldnât leave her here all alone for some walkers to eat her alive maybe she came from somewhere near by
Walking through the trees she would occasionally change our course more like she was leading me than I was her until we got to a break in the trees, a ranch in perfect condition, a few horses grazing the field, little sheepâs hoping around, a chicken coop and a cozy little cabin like house right in the middle of the land, a brown bronco truck parked out front
Opening the gate, closing it behind me and the horse so the other animals wouldnât get out like she did somehow, when a deep voice stopped me in my tracks
âSee ya brought Missy back, been wondering where she went off toâ coming down the porch steps was a older man, cowboy hat, white shirt, blue jeans and boots, maybe it was the lack of human contact or even interactions but damn was he fine, I didnât realize he was right infront of me till he cleared his throat breaking me out of my oogling
âOh yeah, I found her out in the woods she must had heat exhaustion so I gave her some waterâ my stomach feels like itâs in knots, I havenât felt like this in so long, heâs said a few words and Iâm entranced by him
âA nice and pretty girl might just have to keep ya around darlingâ he smirked making my knees weak, but I still have my values Iâm not just going to jump his bones even though the urge is so strong
âOh I mean if youâre able to take me in Iâll earn my keep, help around the farm, anything I justâŠ..I canât stay out there alone any longerâ I said praying heâd give me a chance, some hope
âYa sure you know what youâre doing around a farm?â He asked as he looked me up and down, lingering on my chest
âI grew up on a farm, I know what Iâm doingâ
âHmmm well come on in, see where you can stayâ I let Missy go so she could run off with the others, following him inside, it was bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside, cute kitchen, wooden accents around the house, he kept walking down a hallways till he stopped at a room waiting for me to go in first, it was cozy, I donât care if this place was trashy as long as I can be stress free and have someone to keep me company
âYou like it?â He asked from the doorway
âI love it, thank youâ I said as I sit on the bed letting out a long awaited sigh
âHow long were you out there?â
âI donât know time is hard to keep track of out there, maybe 2 yearsâ
âDamn girl, 2 years did you atleast have someone out there?â
âMy farm fell early taking my family with it when the walkers came, so itâs just been me until nowâ
He gave me a pitiful look it made the blood rush to my cheeks
âCome on darlin, supper should be done, should get some food in youâ he said waving me out of the room and Im quick to follow him to the kitchen where I sit at the table as he dishes up some food, fresh food something I havenât had in well forever it feels like
He sits across from me at the table taking his hat of showing his dark brown hair streaked with some grey, biting my lip to stop myself from fantasizing about running my hands through his hair, pulling on it as I feel his beard scratch against my legs
âSo whatâs your name darlin, like to call you something other than sweet namesâ he smirks obviously realizing my constant leering but he didnât make it easy
âIâm fine with your little names but itâs y/nâ
âYou got a spark still considering how long youâve been out there, how old are you even?â
â20 you?â
âLetâs just say Iâm old enough to be your fatherâ
âNot a problem for meâ I said under my breath
A few weeks went by and I did what I said, working hard around the farm, waking up early to collect eggs from the chicken coop, feeding the horses and sheep, picking any ripe berries from the garden all before he was even up, no different from today, I laid berries on our plates and scrambled some eggs finishing right when he comes out of his room, scruffy hair, boxers and a black tank top showing off his tattoos, yes I earned my keep but the tension between us was growing stronger and stronger everyday, every touch, every long night of staying up talking I have to do something about it
âMorning Negan sleep well?â I asked as he sat across from me, our usual spots since that first day
âGreat darlin, wouldâve been better if you were next to me all nightâ he smirked, heâd do this tease me and act like it was nothing but it was something to me especially when Iâd stay up late at night touching myself thinking of the things heâd say
âNegan youâre driving me crazy you know thatâ I said chomping on a strawberry
âYou think I donât hear you?â
âWhat?â My face flushed, please god donât let it be what I think it is
âAt night, when you think Iâm fast asleep, I hear you moaning my name, whimpering when you canât make yourself finishâ he said his voice getting deeper as he leaned further across the table
âI donât know what youâre talking about, I gotta goâŠâŠ..go clean up the hayâ I said flustered and completely embarrassed standing up and leaving the house to the barn
OH MY GOD this is so embarrassing, heâs heard me touch my self to him what is wrong with me, itâs only been a week and I canât control myself, maybe because heâs everything I want, strong sexy makes my knees weak and panties wet, plus I have so much pent up sexual frustration, growing up on a farm and not being allowed to date led to me now, a horny 20 year old fantasizing about a man who generously gave me shelter and food, Iâm a mess, a horny mess that wants to ride this man all day long
I get to the barn pitchforking any loose straw back into the pile trying to figure out what Iâm suppose to do now, how do I face him again after heâs heard me moan his name
âI can hear your crazy thoughts from here darlingâ I look to the barn door seeing him dressed in blue jeans, cowboy boots, his cowboy hat and a brown plaid
âI canât take it anymore Negan, obviously you know that now, please justâŠâŠ..â
âJust what baby?â He asks his voice deeper again as he gets closer gripping my waist, his hands alone engulfing me
âJust touch meâ
He leans down grabbing the back of my thighs lifting me to straddle his hips, my arms wrapped around his shoulders now face to face
âYou sure you can handle this sweetheart?â
âI need it, I need you to fuck me please Iâve been so goodâ I say as he litters my neck with sloppy kisses
âYou have, such a good girl for me, guess you deserve a big reward for thatâ he smirks as he squeezes my ass, laying my down in the hay pile
âFuck you got me so hard, you know how hard it was to not bust into your room hearing your sweet moans just begging for me to plow this pussy?â He grips the bottom of my sundress hauling it off over my head leaving me in just my panties, my tits completely exposed
Hearing him groan as his hands roam my body, from my hips up my stomach to caress my tits rubbing his thumbs over them making my panties even more soaked
âThat feels so good, doesnât feel like this *fuck* when I tryâ I whimper my body feeling like itâs on fire
âNo one ever make you feel good darling?â He says as he leaves kitten licks against my nipples feeling like lighting shooting from them to my clit, trying to grind against his thigh between my legs
âNo, no oneâs everâŠ..â
âNo ones ever touched you, youâre a virgin?â He continues to suck hickeys down my stomach stopping at the hem of my panties
âOnly youâ I moan needing more
âDonât worry Iâll make you feel good babyâ he removed everything heâd wearing going to throw his hat in the pile of clothes but is top him
âStop!âŠâŠkeep it onâ
âYou like cowboys? Wanna take a ride?â He smirks as he pulls down my panties leaving us both naked
âI mean I did save your horse, itâs only right to ride the cowboyâ I say as I flip him over to straddle his hips, his dick standing big thick and prominent, heâs really gonna stretch me out good
âOh ya itâs only rightâ he laughs squeezing my hips hard as he helps me move them back and forth grinding on his dick getting it wet
âI need it pleaseâ
âTake your time darlingâ he says as he lifts me up so Iâm hovering right above him feeling his tip gently pushing against me
I slowly push down feeling the pressure and stretch, it hurt god it was way bigger than my two fingers
âFuck baby youâre so tightâ he grunts
âIs itâŠâŠ.is it all in, youâre so big I donât know if I can take much moreâ I moan uncontrollably, all this sexual frustration finally breaking free
âJust a little more, come on be a good girl and take itâ he helps push me down the rest of the way till I feel his skin flush against my clit
I sigh I relief that I got it all in but the sting isnât pleasant
âTake your time cowgirl, wanna get you nice and stretched before you try and ride your cowboyâ he laughs as he sits up kissing my neck again and rubbing my clit to help distract the pain
âGod I canât waitâ I say gripping his shoulders as I start moving up and down, slowly at first feeling him deeper and deeper each time
âFuck baby this pussy is gonna be the death of meâ I take his hat putting it on holding it with one hand just like I would when riding a mechanical bull, bouncing and gyrating fast and harder and deeper feeling him hit that spot where it makes me see stars and screaming his name over and over as I feel that tension build up in my lower stomach
âCome on cowgirl, cum on my dick, make yourself cum, let it outâ he says meeting my thrusts over and over driving even deeper
My hearing goes fuzzy feeling like my whole body is lit up with pleasure, itâs never felt this good before doing it by myself, soon feeling a warm liquid shoot up inside me, dripping down in between us making a sticky hot mess
Coming back down to earth from that mind blowing orgasm I feel his hands roaming up and down my back, his chest pressed against mine
âDid I do it rightâ I moan biting my lip slowly grinding on him
âDamn darling, that was the best fuck of my life, yeah you did it right, look great doing it to, could get us to thisâ he says laying back in the hay hands behind his head
I sat up feeling him slide out whining when he popped out his cum dripping onto the hay as I lean down against his chest
âI want moreâ
âDamn baby girl, they were right good girls really are the most frustratedâ
We spent the rest of the day in the barn, him taking me in every position imaginable, everyone better than the last until we were exhausted and my pussy ached so good
âGlad you found my horse that dayâ
âMe too Neganâ
I want this man desperately damn, Iâm newish to writing this kind of story so if you got any tips lmk

WC: 4.3k
A/N: now this one is a rollercoaster
based off this request! | f.w. masterlist | navi
Things had been difficult since May.
Voldemort was dead and the war was over. But everyone was dealing with the aftermath.
Things were quiet for a while, people were quiet. Distant but united at the same time. It took a few months for everyone to try and go back to normal.
Now it was November, and Fred was still dealing with the aftermath.
Of course, a head injury from being hit with a spell and a literal stone wall falling on him would have its long-term effects. Youâd already read the list over who knows how many times.
Memory loss, light sensitivity, aggression, problems with multitasking, communication issues, irritability, mood swings, forgetfulness, etc. The list went on and on, you hated how long it was.Â
You did research on it, listening to his doctors and picking up as many books you could find on head injuries or TBIs.
You even got your hands on some textbooks that muggle medical students used.
George and you took care of Fred after he came back to your shared space above the shop. He spent his first week after being discharged from the hospital at his mums, due to Mollys demands.
Things slowly went back to normal after a few months. Most things.
Shops reopened all along Diagon Alley, including the twins, people felt safe to go out and chat with each other again.Â
Life went back to how it was before the war began.
The cold weather was getting harsher and so was Fred.Â
You knew that the irritability and mood swings would come along with the injury. You just werenât expecting it to be so constant.
Fred had his bad days and he had his better days. Today was one of those bad days.
You could tell he was really struggling remembering what was in stock and what needed to be made more of. You sat with him at the counter as he wrote down on a notepad what was needed. Taking notes was one of the things that helped him nowadays.
You saw him look up, the cogs attempting to turn in his head.
âPeruvian Darkness Powder.â You said softly, it was the next thing that needed to be restocked.
âRight. That. Thanks.â He muttered out, crouching over to write it down, his hand shaky and handwriting a bit wobbled.
Frustrated with his shaky hands, he threw the pen down, putting his head in his hands, rubbing his face.
âI just donât get why itâs so hard. I feel like I canât properly do anything.â He groaned, the annoyance clear in his voice.
âFred, it's what the symptoms of a-â
âI know itâs a fucking brain injury. Iâve heard it enough goddamn times. You donât need to spell it out for me.â Fred spat out, ripping his hand from yours and walking past you. That was the fourth time he snapped at you today.
After closing that night, you sat on the bench right outside the shop. Elbows resting on your knees with your head in your hands.
You were really trying here. Trying your best not to get mad at him, to yell and spit at him as he did you.
He was still your Fred that you loved. He was just a bit different now, and that was okay, he was still your Fred.
The door to the shop opened, the silly tune of the charmed bell playing as a tall figure stepped out. Fred stood to the side of you now, his frame blocked out the light shining on you from the street lamps. The only light now being from the inside of the shop, illuminating his and your face once you looked up.
You breathed in deep, closing your eyes for a second, trying to keep any tears from falling. The cold wind wasnât helping.
âHi.â He gave you a shamefaced smile.
George had definitely scolded him and told him to apologize once you went outside. Itâs not the first time heâs made him do it in recent times.
âHi.â You sighed.
âIâm- I didnât mean to snap at you when you were trying to help me with what needed to be restocked, or when you offered to sort the mail.â He shoved his hands in his pockets, suddenly feeling small. The feeling had become constant for him now.
âAnd before both of those, when you snapped at me in your office. Then in front of one of the cashiers.â
âI did?â He said softly, genuinely shocked. You nodded, brows knit together.
âOh, I didnât even realize. I donât even remember that. Iâm sorry. I shouldnât be so harsh.â Fred looked down, having the same expression as a kicked puppy.
âItâs okay, Fred. I know you donât mean to.â You slowly nodded.
âIâm trying to not be so rude. Iâm trying to be better, I promise.â
âI know, Fred. I know.â You sniffled.
The doctors said practicing patterns would help with cognitive ability. Patterning. So stocking the purple and orange mystery boxes in a pattern would be Fredâs practice.
He began to practice different patterns:
Purple. Orange. Purple. Orange. Repeat.
Then moved onto a bit more strange ones:
Purple. Purple. Orange. Orange. Purple. Orange. Repeat.Â
He was struggling a bit more than usual today, you watched as he did, and it broke your heart.
You sighed as you put your notepad away, pausing writing down the grocery list for now and making your way over to Fred.
You reached out, putting the next correctly colored box on the shelf for him. He grumbled out a âthanksâ.
âI can do the rest for you. Go give your brain a break.â You breathed out a laugh, trying to be lighthearted as you picked up the large box filled with the remaining mystery boxes to be put away.
âNo, itâs fine. Iâve got it.â Fred mumbled out, paying you barely any mind.
âFred, I can tell your stressed enough just let me-â
âWill you piss off? I said I've got it!â Fred didnât mean to yell, especially in the middle of a busy store, he was just frustrated.Â
Your cheeks heated up in embarrassment and anger due to all the staring eyes of confused customers looking at the both of you.
âFine, fucking do it yourself then.â You shoved the box into his hands. Walking off, pissed off as you threw off your hat onto the counter.
George murmured your name as you walked by, trying to put a hand on your shoulder, you shoved out his grasp.
You hid away in the back stockroom. George followed, entering a tiny bit after you.
You sat on a wooden box, leaned over with your head in your hands.Â
âYou know he doesnât mean it. He got blasted pretty hard, itâs just one of the side effects.â George sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets.
You were so tired of those two words. Side effects. Yes, of course you knew what the side effects and symptoms were, that they wouldnât be pretty or easy. But you were just so sick of hearing it.
You shrugged, lifting your head up.
âHe's frustrated. With himself.â George sat down next to you, intertwining his hands into a ball. âHe always feels bad after he gets angry.â
âI know, and Iâm trying my best to help him out but itâs like he never fucking wants it. He refuses.â
âHeâs never liked help, always wanting to be so damn independent and stubborn.â George let out a weak chuckle and shook his head. âIt took him five minutes to accept the money Harry gave us. Even after that he tried to tell Harry heâd give it back if he changed his mind.â
âI remember, I was there.â You smiled a bit to yourself at the memory, Fred was so adamant about Harry keeping the money, or at least most of it.
âChocolate?â He pulled a small bar off one of the shelves, you shook your head. âItâll make you feel better.â You persuaded, you let out an amused sigh and took it.
âYou stole that line from Lupin.â Unwrapping it and biting off a small chunk.
âYeah, but it works doesnât it?â You let out a defeated nod and smile in response, taking another bite.
âHeâs not gonna be like this forever. You know that. Heâs gotten a lot better since May. Just, his moodiness will stick around for a little bit.â
âI know. Iâm just so worried about him. I canât help it.â
George was at Angelinas for the night. It took him ten minutes to stop worrying and finally go, constantly reminding you if you needed his help with Fred, if Fred starts getting mean, to send him an owl and heâd come back immediately. You shooed him off and assured him Fred and you would be fine, that he should go have a worry-free night with Angelina.
It was going well, you watched a short movie and shared some snacks and cuddles on the couch. It was all going so nicely until you both decided to get changed and go to bed.
You slipped on a night shirt talking to Fred about the movie as he opened the top drawer on the wooden dresser. The one that creaked and occasionally jammed from time to time.Â
Tonight was one of those times.
He pulled out a pair of pajama pants from the drawer, his eyebrows knitting together when he pushed the drawer and it barely moved. You looked over and frowned disappointedly.
âItâs stuck again.â You sighed, thinking out loud.Â
âI know.â Fred muttered out under his breath, you didnât catch it.
You watched as he repeatedly tried to push it, it wouldnât budge.
âItâs just old, maybe tomorrow we could go window shopping for a new one?â You suggested sweetly as he didnât respond, he just clenched his jaw as he continued trying to close it.
He used a terrifying amount of force as he slammed the drawer shut with one last push, causing the whole thing to ratter. The sudden movement and sound made you jump. You took a step back, Fred noticed. His expression faltered for a moment as his eyes scanned your body language.
âWhat, are you scared of me or something now?â He muttered, an attitude in his voice.
âNo, I never said I was scared of you. You justâŠâ
 âWhat? Iâve just what?âÂ
You were so sick of his attitude. You took in a deep breath before speaking.
âYouâve been acting up, youâve been slamming doors, throwing things down when youâre frustrated, you yell more. At George and I especially. Youâre unpredictable.â You let out quickly.
âUnpredictable? I have not been that bad. Youâre dramatic.â Fred shot back, he was a bit hurt by your words, yet deep down he knew you were right. His actions had become surprising. But he was too damn stubborn and he was in the middle of a beginning argument, so he wouldnât admit to it now.
âIâm not, youâre proving your point with how youâre being now. Youâre being stubborn and defensive. You get angry and you yell at me. When Iâm just trying to help! The doctors said-â
âI donât give a shit what the fucking doctors told you! Or those stupid books youâve been wasting your time on!â All this yelling hurt his head. But the words were spilling out his mouth like a waterfall of poison.Â
âHave you considered your not being any help? If you really wanted to help youâd let me do shit myself instead of acting like Iâm fucking stupid! You wouldnât be walking on eggshells around me! Youâd let me be instead of being a pounding in my head!â His chest heaved, his face slowly being filled with regret as he saw you. Taking a step back with the most painful stare at him, astonishment and hurt written all over your face.
He watched as you brought your arms up around you, holding yourself as if it was a way of shielding yourself from his words.
âIs that really what you think of me?â Your voice went soft. A small crack in your delivery of words as you rubbed your upper arm.
âNo! Absolutely not! I just- Iâm-â Here comes the sputtered out apologies, the regret filling him up immediately, you just shook your head.
âForget it, Iâm done with this conversation.â You barged out the room. That look never leaving your face, it will haunt him forever.
âWhere are you going? I thought you were going to bed?â He called out as you went down the hallway.
âIâm sleeping on the couch tonight.â You shouted back, more of a loud mutter really. Fred said your name disappointedly, leaning against the bedroom door frame. You didnât respond, you didnât turn around, you made your way to the couch.
He didnât run after and stop you. Knowing youâd give him the silent treatment and refuse to get in the same bed as him. For tonight only. Hopefully.
Though you tried to muffle and hide your sobs behind your hands, Fred could still hear it all the way from the bedroom. Those pained sharp breaths in that turned into wheezes, the little hiccups and whimpers of sadness you made when you breathed out were far too loud to be hidden.
You cried for two hours until you finally got a grip of yourself. Getting up and going down the hallway, not to get back in bed, but to see if Fred was.
You peeked your head in just enough to see his side of the bed, he was laying on his back peacefully, his eyes puffy. Had he been crying also?
He was relaxed now though, resting. At least he was getting some sleep. You quietly sneaked back to the living room. Lying back down on the couch and using a throw pillow for your head.Â
You couldnât get comfortable, couldnât keep your eyes shut, couldnât stop thinking, you couldnât sleep. You missed him, you really just wanted to be next to him.
By the time the clock ticked to 2AM, you got up, tiptoeing back into the bedroom. Sneaking to your side of the bed, so carefully pulling back the sheets. You moved so carefully, so lightly, so gently as if everything was made of fine china.Â
You debated if you should snuggle up to Fred, not wanting to wake him. What if he got annoyed again? You really didnât want to deal with another conflict.
You carefully scooted over to him anyways, testing your luck. You slowly wrapped your arm around his torso, ever so lightly laying your head on his chest. He began to move and your body immediately tensed up.
His arm hooked around you, circling your waist, the other arm reaching over, his hand softly placed on the side of your head. Your body went limp in happiness. You could start crying again from all the joy you felt in this moment.
This is how you knew Fred hadnât become a whole other person than the one you knew before the accident. His hands on you, holding onto you so sweetly, just like he used to. There were still those little remnants of his true self hanging around. He was still Fred. He was still your Fred.
You woke up to an empty bed. The sunlight shining down on Freds side of the mattress.
You changed into more presentable clothes, hearing the chatter from downstairs and knowing the shop was open.Â
Going downstairs, Fred was nowhere to be seen while George was moving around helping customers and constantly casting spells to organize things.
Owning a joke shop was absolutely not a one man job.
âWhereâs Fred?â You asked, looking around as you approached the counter. George was stacking cards.Â
âIn his office. Another migraine.â He tucked in his lips, seemingly annoyed.
âOh. Well, Iâm gonna go out, probably window shop. Do you need anything?â
âCould you get some cabbage? And a few more quills and ink? Weâre running low.â He said, swiveling his way out from behind the counter.
You may have stayed out longer than you meant to.
Thinking youâd be back before five, you got home at nearly eight instead.
You did some looking around in local furniture shops, and you picked up what George asked for. You mostly just walked around the quieter streets, needing to get away from all the noise.
By the time you got back it was a bit dark outside and there was a closed sign on the shop door. You unlocked and locked it quickly, moving upstairs tiredly.
The living room light was turned off, the moonlight from outside being the only thing that made the room somewhat visible. Fred was sitting on the couch.
âHey.â You spoke softly.Â
âHi.â
âWhereâd George go?â
âHe stopped by Angelinaâs for dinner.â He said blankly. Everything felt so awkward.
âOh. Have you eaten?â You asked as you set down the bags of supplies.
âYeah, I had some leftovers.â
âOkay, well, whatâre you doing in the dark? Get some light in here.â You giggled as you flipped up the light switch, overhead light brightening up the room.
Fred quickly scrunched his eyes closed with a pained expression, he put a hand up to shadow his face.
Fuck. Light sensitivity. He was already dealing with a migraine, thatâs why he was in the dark, and you turning on the light made it much more intense.
âShit. Sorry, sorry, sorry.â You blurted out as you hit the switch down, the room going darker again.
âHere, Iâll- Iâll get you a glass of water.â You sputtered out, running over to the kitchen sink and grabbing a glass, filling it up with cold water from the tap.
âNo, you donât have to.â Fred muttered out.
âPlease, itâll help. Just let me help.â You pleaded as you ran back over to the couch, sitting down and holding the glass towards him. He denied it again.
âFred, just drink-â
âI told you! No!â He shouted, pushing your hand away.
The glass slipped out of your grasp. Hitting the floor and cracked into pieces, somewhere in the impact a small shard hit your lower leg. Nothing serious, it could be quickly closed up with a spell, but it was bleeding heavily already.
Fred realized what had happened once you felt the stung and winced, holding a hand over your small injury, crimson staining your hand and dripping onto your sock.
âOh Merlin, Iâm sorry, Iâm so sorry, I didnât mean to.â He panicked as he straightened up, patting his sides for his wand, he had left it in his office. He saw yours on the coffee table.
âHere, let me fix-â He reached one hand towards your wand, the other laying on your shoulder.
âDonât. Itâs fine, Iâve got it.â You said as you reached across, grabbing your wand and leaned your shoulder away from his touch.
His stomach twisted, the guilt was eating him up. He fidgeted with his fingers, not knowing what to do with his hands now that you refused his touch and his help.
You said a quick spell, the cut swiftly closing, skin looking unharmed and the only evidence of what happened being the remnants of drying blood on your leg and hand.
âIâm gonna go wash off my hands.â You said so quietly, almost a whisper. Fred stayed silent as he watched you get up and walk away, he wanted to cry.
You returned to the living room with a packed suitcase, quickly walking past Fred on the couch and to the chimney. His eyes stayed glued on you the entire time. You didnât look at him.
âYouâre leaving?â Freds brows knit together in a sad way, he sat up straight from his spot on the couch.
âYeah. Not for long. Iâll be back.â You spoke, back facing him as you put down your small suitcase.
âWhere?â
âA friends place. For a few days.â You didnât tell him who, he would most likely send letters apologizing.
George was the one who suggested it surprisingly. Once he came home as you were washing off the blood, he told you to go take a few days to yourself.
âNo offense to you, youâve been doing great. But Iâve lived with him for nearly twenty-six years. I know how to deal with him when heâs mad.â He held your shoulders.
âI know how to deal with him too, you know.âÂ
âOf course I do. But I know youâre worn out as well. You need to take some care of yourself. Focus on you for a few days.â You really didnât want to agree with George on that, it felt rude to do it. There was really no good way of saying he was wearing you down.
âIâm sorry.â Fred spoke out.
âI know, Fred.â You let out a heavy breath. âIâm not mad at you. I think we should take a break from each other.â You tried not to let your voice wobble.
âYou donât mean a break up, right?â He stood up from the couch.
âNo. Of course not.â You finally turned around, looking at his gloomy face. âWe just need to spend some time apart, just for a day or so. Okay?â You kept your voice soft and nurturing, hoping it would hide the way your own words were breaking your heart.
"Can I just get a hug before you leave? Please?" Fred took a few steps closer, his steps cautious. You closed your eyes and nodded.
You didnât want to look at him for too long, both of your faces were threatening to deteriorate into tears, and you couldnât stand to see it.
He pulled you into him nicely, hands slowly and carefully wrapping around you like you would crack if he moved the wrong way.
âIâm sorry Iâm like this. I love you.â He said softly, sounding like it was a plea for you to stay.
âI know.â You mumbled into his chest.
Fredâs injury didnât bother you. The forgetfulness of struggles with certain things didnât bother you, you didnât care if he struggled to keep track with things.Â
It was just his anger. His outbursts. His shouting. Thatâs what bothered you, it was nothing like him. Sure, heâs definitely gotten moody or stubborn or annoyed before like during Quidditch matches back at Hogwarts or when a much needed shipment arrived late at the shop.
But youâve rarely seen him truly mad, yell like he does now, the only time you can remember him like that is when he had to be held back from helping George and Harry beat up Malfoy after a match in his seventh year.
âI still love him, of fucking course I do. But heâs changed so much. itâs like,â You stopped, clenching your jaw and trying your best trying to keep tears from returning. âItâs like sometimes I look at him, and heâs a ghost, heâs a completely different man I fell in love with all those years ago.â
âYouâve changed too.â Alicia commented, âYouâre not as much of a hermit as you used to be.â She joked, poking you.
âOh piss off.â You let out a breathy chuckle, face falling soon after. âIâm scared. What if he stays like this forever?â You whispered out, a small crack in your voice.
âHe wonât. You told me already, thereâs still that cheeky little Fred that youâve always know still in him. Heâs getting better day by day.â She tilted her head. âAnd fuck it. Even if he doesnât, even if it takes a while, you gotta grow with him.â You looked at her, puzzled expression on your face.
âIf you donât grow with him, if you arenât willing to go through that, then what in the hell are you doing?â She shrugged, laying back in her chair. âYouâve gone through these shitty times with him before, right? And you both made it through. What makes you worried you wonât be able to do it again?âÂ
Alicia was right. Youâve gone through rough patches with him and made it out just fine. Casual disagreements, arguments and fights, yet you always made up. Leaving those arguments in the past and loving each other in the present.
âYou staying another night?â Alicia asked you, taking a sip from her glass.
âNo, I think Iâll go back. Iâll send an owl and tell them before I go.â
Once the green flames subsided and you stepped out of the chimney, dusting off your clothes. Fred came running into the room, a bouquet of all the flowers in his hand.
âHi.â
âHi.â
âFeeling alright today?â
âYeah. Yeah. Are you?â
âYeah.â
God, you hated the awkward tension in the air. It felt like this every time you had a conversation.
âThatâs good. Uh, these are for you.â He stuck out the bouquet nervously, hand trembling. You put down your suitcase and stepped closer. A small noise of adoration left as you looked at the flowers, it was all your favorites.
âI may not be able to remember much. But I remembered these were always your favorite.â He let out an awkward laugh.
The last time you told him what flowers you liked was in year five. You took the bouquet from him with hesitant hands, surprised by the gift. Fred swallowed his anxiety before he began to speak again.
âI didnât mean to be so rude. I just get so frustrated with myself, I donât want to act like that anymore. Iâm sorry, I shouldnât take it out on you, you didnât deserve it.â He moved to cup his hands around your face, bringing your teary eyes to meet his.
âI promise you Iâm going to be better. I swear on everything. I will be better.â He gave you a sweet kiss on your forehead, then pulled you into a hug.Â
You held on tightly to his torso, turning the flowers away to keep them from being crushed.
âI love you.â You said into his sweater, tears beginning to fall.
âI love you too. So much.â
tell me what you thought! <3

WEEK ONE
âł double pleasure
two powerful women fucking you into an oblivion.
featuringâ transfem! acheron & ei x fem! reader
cw: double penetration, oral fixation, overstimulation, mind dumbfication, blowjob, mild face fucking, size kink, belly bulge, soft sex, creampie, unprotected sex, praise, pwp
sinful hands explored your body, making quick work of removing every article of clothing from your person. ei attaches her lips to your collarbone while archeronâs lips kisses the nape of your neck. almost immediately, youâre reduced to a puddle, whimpering and drawing in sharp breaths as ei plays with your breasts. she drags her lips down your heated skin until itâs wrapped around one of your hardened nipples. her hot tongue greedily swirls around the perky bud, occasionally sucking and tugging at it.
you whimpered, gripping the back of eiâs head, silently urging her to continue. â it seems like our pretty lady is enjoying this, huh? â acheron chuckles lowly in your ear, giving your ass a nice squeeze. her hand reaches around your waist to dive in between your legs. you let out a sharp gasp as she plays with your clit and runs her fingers up and down your wet folds. â indeed our dearest is, â ei pulls away from your nipple with a wet pop. â and if we get a little rough, i apologize in advance. â
ei straightens her back until sheâs eye level with you. taking your jaw in her palm, she pulls you into a passionate kiss full of tongue, her wet muscle hungrily explores your wet cavern. â you think you can take care of me after you two are done, pretty? admittedly, iâm getting impatient. â acheron whispers in your ear, grinding herself against your ass.
â mhm, â you hummed, swirling your tongue around eiâs for a few moments until she retracts away, a thin string of saliva connecting you and eiâs lips. her halfâlidded glowing, amethyst eyes peers into yours. she blurts out, â please have a seat on my face beloved, iâm curious about how you taste. â you blinked at her as well as the other counterpart.
acheron lets out a breathy laugh, â i didnât think iâd be so daring to request such a thing. this is perhaps perfect for me. â
within minutes, youâre sitting on eiâs face while sheâs making out with your pussy, holding you down by the hips. acheronâs stands over you, gently pressing the flushed tip of her cock against your slightly parted lips. â can you open wide for me?â she asks softly, looking down at you with a warm smile despite the needy look in her eyes. entranced by her gentleness, you complied, allowing her thick length to slowly slide inside your mouth.
â good girl. . â acheron groans, running her fingers through your hair. you enclosed your lips around her once you feel her hit the back of your throat. you only have half of her in your mouth and she already feels so heavy on your tongue, tensing your jaw. â you look so beautiful like this, â she mutters, admiring the cute concentrated look on your face as you struggled to accommodate her size. â you donât have to do anything, iâll move. tap me if itâs too much. â
and she does, slowly moving her hips out and back in each time her cockhead grazes your throat. you rock yourself against eiâs face as she slurps and laps up your juices. sheâs surprisingly a moaning mess just like you are. one of many broken moans spills from your lips; one that particularly causes acheron to grunt from its vibration. your tongue eagerly licks anywhere it can reach, eliciting a soft moan from acheron.
her thrusts grows subtly careless as her cockhead slowly eases deeper down your throat, youâre nearly gagging. â you feel so greatâi-i am barely keeping myself in control here.â acheron confesses jokingly, tenderly scratching your scalp with graceful fingers. you let out a loud, muffled moan, eyes beautifully rolling to the back your head from ei overstimulating your squirting pussy. â forgive me dearest, i must of gotten carried away. â ei mumbles, noticing your thighs trembling against the sides of her head. she places apologetic kisses to your inner thighs.
â clearly. â acheron sighs, her gaze still fixated on your tearâstricken face. she pulls her cock from your mouth so you can breath properly. â w-want. .â you panted between shaky breaths.
the galaxy ranger pats your head affectionately, â catch your breath first before you continue, sweetheartâ â
â âw-want you and ei i-inside of meâpl-please. â you whimpered, looking up at the woman with dazed, yet desperate eyes that made her cheeks flush red. acheron clears her throat, â i-i see. but letâs slow down princess, iâm not sure if you can take two of us at the same timeâ â
â if thatâs what you wish for, dearest, then i shall grant it. â ei removes you from her face and swiftly positions you over her weeping cock. hands gripping your hips, she helps you sink down and stares in awe at the sight of your dripping cunt swallowing her length. the deity moans loudly from the tight sensation of your warm walls clamping around her length. back pressed against the tatami mat, she thrusts her hips upwards, giving you momentum to start bouncing on her cock.
acheron watched as you continue to shamelessly ride ei, her eyes travels down to your pretty tits bouncing up and down, her cock twitches with anticipation. â if you truly do want us so bad, â acheron joins the two of you on the mat, she presses her palm against your back, gently bending you down until your upper body is pressed against eiâs. she hovers over your back, spreading your ass cheeks apart to line herself with your puckering hole. â then i guess i have no choice but to grant you your wish as well. â
she uses her pre-cum mixed with your drool as lube and teases your hole. acheron carefully falls on your back, wrapping an arm around your waist while the other is against the mat for support. â i know itâs going to be uncomfortable at first, but iâll do my best to be as gentle as possible. like iâve mentioned before, indicate to me or tell me when you want to stop if it gets too much. â
acheron slowly pushes herself inside, placing several apologetic kisses to your back as she hears soft pained noises erupting from your throat. ei, who stopped moving so you can adjust accordingly, cradles your cheeks with delicate hands and guides your face towards her. she peers at you with soft eyes, â if you wish to find more comfort during this process, please, allow me to provide it for you, dearest. â ei pulls you into a gentle kiss, so gentle and sweet it made your heart warm. after several minutes of soft kisses and words of encouragement and praises, acheron was able to fully fit inside.
â y-you can move, acheron and ei. iâm okay. â you said, burying your face into eiâs neck.
â of course, sweetheart. â
â of course, beloved. â
once they started fucking your pussy and ass simultaneously, you soon became helplessly dumb. you were such a pretty babbling mess that it was almost a pathetic sight to witness. eiâs cock filling you to the brim, repeatedly hitting against all the right places, and acheronâs cock pounding into your ass so deliciously deep, you never felt so full.
â j-just like that, pleasee, â you drawled, your tongue lolled out, holding onto ei for dear life. â mmm, youâre doing absolutely wonderful, dearest. .! â she moans out, griping your hips as she continues to fuck you without any signs of exhaustion.
â i-i agree, i didnât think she could handle us both but iâve been proven wrongâah, sweetheart, youâre squeezing meââ she says with gritted teeth, slowing down to fuck your ass in slow, shallow thrusts. she doesnât wanna cum too soon but youâre intending on milking her dry, huh? acheronâs hand presses down on the outline of eiâs cock bulging out from your stomach, causing you to scream out in pleasure.
â wanna cumâgonna cum! â you mewled, throwing your head back in pure euphoria as you squirted once more, this time all over eiâs cock. ei follows behind with a throaty moan, hugging you tight against her as her hot seed fills you up. acheron buries her face in between your neck and shoulder blade, thrusting a few more times before she stuffs your ass with her cum. â you did so good, my pretty girl. â she mumbles breathlessly into your sweaty skin, not pulling out until she gives you every last drop.
ei does the same and grasps your face to sloppily kiss your swollen lips while acheron kisses your back, â letâs do this another time, this was a wonderful experience. iâll make sure weâll meet again. â

so? what's it gonna be, princess? - choi seungcheol
warnings: none!!
pairings: choi seungcheol x reader
genre: best friend to lovers (as always... zzzzz)
wc: 1.8k
check out my masterlist! // cheol's m.list
ââcheollie, i think i will be running a little late. it started pouring out of nowhere and i don't have my umbrella with me,ââ seungcheol could practically hear the pout coming from you through the phone, ââplease help me tell the boys im sorry and that i'll be there as soon as i can.ââ today was yet another friday evening where the boys had planned a group dinner to catch up with everyone which happens once every 2 weeks.Â
ââyou're pouting arent you?ââ your best friend teased you through the phone. ââno im not..ââ you lie, but unbeknownst to you, seungcheol is sitting in his car; parked just outside your company's lobby waiting for you. he smiles as he watches you furrow your eyebrows and look up at the sky; watching the pouring rain, and he sees your pout growing more evident. ââdon't you regret turning me down this morning when i offered to drive you after work?ââ he chuckles to himself as he continues to tease you; he fumbles reaching for an umbrella in the backseat, ready to walk towards you.Â
ââmaybe a littleâŠbut my office is in the complete opposite direction.. i didnât want to trouble you.ââ you tried justifying. ââits been 13 years now that we've been friends, how many times do i have to tell you that you're never a bother or trouble to me? you know i love helping you out and doing things with you. even if its just driving with you by my side.ââ you felt your stomach do a little flip at your best friend's words and you try to shake the feeling away. seungcheol watches as you brace yourself, getting ready to run in the rain to cross the road, most likely to get to the bus stop. ââWAIT, STAY THERE!ââ he shouts through the phone and you all but halt your movements all together. ââhuh? what do you mean?ââ you asked as confusion took over you. ââhello?ââ you prod again when he doesnt say anything back. ââcheol??ââ this time you remove your phone from your ear to look at the screen, had the call been disconnected?
ââprincess!ââ your head whipped around at the sound of that. you could recognise his voice anywhere and yet, you didnt exactly believe it. what is he doing here? why would he be here? you watch as seungcheol run out of his car holding an umbrella over his head, ââwhat are you doing here? i thought i told you not to come? i could have made it to dinner on my own..ââ you say as you started to feel bad. ââin this heavy rain? its gonna take you forever!ââ he chuckles lightly as he reaches his arm out to put over your shoulder, getting you under the umbrella with him. ââyeah but still.. its so inconvenient for you.ââ seungcheol watches as your pout slowly returns. all he can think about is how cute and pretty you look, and how soft your lips would feel against his.Â
âânothing is ever inconvenient when it comes to you. did you forget why my nickname for you is princess in the first place? did you forget the promise i made you when we were kids? i said i'll always treat you like the princess you are, didnt i?ââ he asked as he tugged you closer to him and start walking back to his car. ââcheol, of course i remember, but no one ever really holds onto promises they made when they were kids. it was just all fun and games!ââ you laugh as you hit his chest lightly with your fist playfully. seungcheol catches your hand and held it in his for a second before letting go. ââi didn't think it was just for fun and gamesâŠi meant what i said back then & i still do.ââ his face turned serious before it was quickly replaced by his boyish shy smile that you love so much. he reached down to open the door to the passenger seat, ushering you to get in.Â
you watch as he closed the door to the passenger seat and quickly ran over to the driver's seat. ââwhat was that about?ââ you asked as soon as seungcheol settled in this seat. it doesnt go unnoticed by you that half of his body is wet; drenched in rain, clearly from shielding you with the umbrella better and not himself. you heart aches at that a little. ââwhat was what?ââ he questioned back, looking at you with confusion swimming in his brown orbs. you took in a deep breath and let out an audible sigh, ââyou mean what you said back then and you still do?ââ you laughed before continuing playfully, ââaww, does that mean that my cheolie is still in love with me after all these years?ââ you teased jokingly as you think back to when you were both 21, your best friend had drunkenly confessed to you in a game of truth or dare with chan, minghao, soonyoung and joshua that you were in fact his first love when you were both younger. what he failed to mention however is that he was still in love with you at that time.Â
ââcheol, im just joking. dont look at me like that.ââ you say as you shift your eyes towards the road; finding his burning gaze too hard to keep in contact with. ââdon't look at you like what?ââ his voice came out a lot softer and huskier than he'd like. not that seungcheol was trying anything, but his throat suddenly felt so so dry. was he about to have this conversation with you? ââi don't know, you just look so serious. i was just kidding. come on, start the car, or we'll be late.ââ you unintentionally whined, hoping that he will let it go and drop the subject. but seungcheol caught on to your nervousness, he always does. you have your tells when you're nervous and seungcheol knows all of them like the back of his hand. he knows you oh so well.Â
feeling a sudden surge of confidence from the fact that he made you nervous, inevitably, your best friend turned cocky. ââso what if i am?ââ he asked as he leaned his face against his fist that his biceps were resting on the steering wheel. ââwhat?ââ you asked as you furrowed your eyebrows at him. seungcheol could see the slight irritation dancing in your eyes. he knows you think he's fucking with you again like he always does, except what you didn't know was all his playful flirting? yeah he meant those. but you? you could play along with his playful flirting but joking about feelings and being in love? that crosses the line for you. not funny. at all.Â
ââi said, so what if i am? so what if i am still in love with you after all these years?ââ truthfully, seungcheol felt confident and cocky, but that was before he actually said those words out loud. now? his heart was thumping so hard he thought it might jump right out of his chest, but of course, he didnt show it, he tried his hardest not to at least; always keeping that small but nervous smile on his face. ââif this is another one of your stupid jokes, stop it. its not funny. you know i hate when people joke about feelings.ââ your irritation had grown tenfold by now. ââstart the car cheol, we'll be late.ââÂ
ââbut we're already late,ââ he says as he debates in his mind if he should hold your hand. ââand besides, don't you think i know you well enough by now to know what not to joke about?ââ he watches as your eyes soften and reaches for your hand. you look down at where you are both linked: your hands, and silence takes over you. ââso, should we walk into dinner holding hands and let the boys plan our wedding or are you going to reject me and let this car ride be the most awkward we've ever been around each other?ââ seungcheol all but nervously asks, jokingly of course.
ââis this really how you ask someone out? that's so corny and cringey. no wonder you've been single all these years!â seungcheol lets out a breath of relief when he hears your sweet laugh and sees a smile finally break out on your face. ââis the reason i'm single all these years really because of how corny and cringey i am or is it because of how in love i am with you that i stayed by your side and took care of you the best i knew how to at whatever age it was, that i always looked out for you no matter where we were, be it at a party, in class, in school, at a dinner functions, anything. that i tried my best to never let you feel alone and to know that i always believe in you no matter what negative things that pretty little head of yours tells you when you go to bed at night? and look at you now? look how far you've come.ââ
seungcheol held your hand up to his lips and kissed the back of your hand. you felt tears lightly prickle your eyes and you blinked them away, ââthank you, cheol..for always being there for me even when i didnât know i needed you.ââ he now held your hand up to his cheek, still intertwining your fingers. ââlike today?ââ he asked with a shy smile. ââlike today..ââ you smiled back. ââso what's it gonna be princess? are we picking out a wedding destination or are we sitting in awkward silence?ââ he teased. ââwhy can't you be normal and just ask me to be your girlfriend like everybody else?ââ you ask as you tried tugging your hand away from him but he didnât let up, it only made his grip on you tighter. ââwhere's the fun in that? and besides, you answering my question will tell me if i have a girlfriend or not.ââ seungcheol already knows your answer to his question, but he still had to ask, he just wanted to hear you say it so bad.Â
ââhmm..,ââ you looked away from him and pretended to think for a second, ââyou know The Maldives has always been my dream destination for travellingâŠa wedding there would be pretty don't you think?ââ you turn back to look at your boyfriend with a faux face of being in thought. seungcheol didnt know he could smile so big but in that moment he did, ââi think anywhere in the world would make for a pretty wedding destination as long as you're the bride, princess.ââ seungcheol finally lets go of your hand, but only to now cup your face in between his 2 hands. he kissed you once on your forehead, ââyou know i love you right?ââ he asked as he looked into your eyes, his usual playful and mischievous brown orbs are now replaced with love, adoration and sincerity. you smile as you answer, ââyou know i love you too, right?ââ and that was all it took for seungcheol to finally kiss you on the lips. ââi think i love you more.ââ he just always has to win, doesn't he?

â
Itâs quiet in Steveâs car.Â
Streetlights glow faintly, lighting the way home. The windows are down; the thick late spring air fills the car with the bittersweet scent of honeysuckles in bloom. In the dim of the car lies Steveâs faint outline as he drives. His hands rest against the steering wheel, his chest rises slowly as he inhales all the fear that settles inside the car.Â
No one speaks. The tension is suffocating you.Â
In the backseat resides Robin with Dustin and Max. The oldest sits in the middle, her fingers drum nervously against the head of your seat. Dustin stares out the window, he hasnât looked at you ever since promising Eddie youâd be back for him tomorrow. He hadnât wanted to leave him, he begged you to let him stay in the boathouse, but you wouldnât let him.Â
Max stares out the other window. Her eyes are closed, sheâs pretending to be asleep. Youâve come to learn what she looks like when she pretends. Her nose pinches slightly, her eyes can never stay still enough to convince you sheâs asleep. Itâs what she does whenever she doesnât want to face your questions, your concerns and your fears.Â
Tension builds in the back of your skull, a dull throb rings within your ears. Exhaustion washes over you, fear pierces her nails into your skin. You canât get Eddieâs terrified eyes out of your head. The way his voice trembled, the sticky blood on his fingernails from the skin he picked at.Â
If theyâre back again, we need to know.
Vecnaâs curse.
The static Eddie felt, Chrissyâs trance-like state. Her bones, the morbid angles they snapped. Barbara Holland, daughter and best friend. Bob Newby, superhero. Billy Hargrove, dearly missed son. Jim Hopper, renown chief and beloved father.Â
Youâre the best of them, kid.
If the gate really has opened once again⊠Thick molasses grief coats your tongue and fills your mouth with remorse. There has been so much loss, so many funerals youâve had to attend. Too many bodies buried without answers, without closure.Â
Over and over again.Â
âWeâre here, Robin.â The gravel of Steveâs voice cuts through the endless dread. He parks the car in front of her driveway, the lights are off inside and you know that Robin is afraid of the dark.
âNeed me to walk you in?â You ask her, quiet, but unyielding with all the love you have for her.Â
She shakes her head. âNo, itâs okay. Iâm brave, aren't I always brave?â
âThe bravest,â Steve smiles at her, soft and unbroken. âGet some sleep, yeah?â
âIâll⊠Iâll try.â Her facade slips, the fear that grips everyone tightens its hold. How could anyone sleep at a time like this? She shakes her head again, her smile returns, albeit forced, tired. Then she messily crawls over Dustin to exit the car, ignoring his cries of annoyance and pain when her elbow catches his ribs. âSorry, little Henderson!â
âI donât even let Steve call me thatââ
âToo late, Iâve already decided to call you little Henderson,â Robin climbs out the car, lands with a soft thud on the pavement. She shuts the door with a glint in her eyes before poking her head through your passenger window. âHey, uh. Y/N?â Her voice drops low, her eyes skirt to Steve, whose cool gaze meets her weary one. Robin clears her throat, you nod your head at her with slight concern. You know that she knows about your argument with Steve. He adores her, what he doesnât confide in you, he confides in her. Knowing that Robin means well, you soften your voice. âYeah?â
Robin hesitates, caught between her two favorite people in the entire world. Steve sees her hesitancy and sighs, turning away to provide some semblance of privacy. Relieved, Robin ducks her head down and whispers into your ear, âTalk to him.â
Sheâs gone before you can exhale.Â
Steve starts the car again after Robin has safely made it inside her home. Max and Dustin are quiet in the backseat. As Steve drives, his fingers absentmindedly play with the frayed edges of his leather bracelet. It had been a gift from you, the word constants etched into the material.Â
Constants. You were Steveâs constant, he was yours. Through everything youâve been through together, all the heartbreak suffered in order to fall into one another, heâs the constant within your life.Â
Now youâre afraid that youâre losing him.Â
Thereâs still so much Steve doesnât know. There are stories about your father that you still need to tell him about. Words Jonathan told you last night, the dangerous what if he brought into your life. Youâre terrified of how Steve will react, heâs always been so trusting of you and Jonathan even after knowing the history you share.Â
And yet Steve also doesnât know that the future you see involves him, that heâs in it with as much certainty as the sky is blue; you just donât know how to tell him this, how to articulate the abandonment that sits heavy within your chest that prohibits you from getting what you want in the end.
You have to talk to him. Steve deserves to know everything, all heâs ever asked of you is to be honest with him.Â
The broken lamppost in front of Maxâs trailer greets you. Steve slows the car, puts it into park. His eyes find hers in the rearview mirror. âThis is you, Mayfield.â
âThanks,â Max responds quietly. She goes to open the car door, but you turn in your seat and stop her.Â
âHey, look at me.â Your tone leaves no room for arguments. She listens, her blue eyes meeting your gaze. For a moment you see Billyâs eyes reflecting within hers. Itâs only for a brief second, it ends before you can even realize whatâs happened. Startled, you momentarily choke on your words. âIââ
Max raises an eyebrow at you. Youâve been acting strange all night, she doesnât understand why. âYou look like youâve seen a ghost.â
Her words couldnât be more ironic, more painful to hear. âI-Iâm sorry.â Billy is dead, heâs gone. You shake your head, try to get his eyes out of your head. âJust⊠promise me youâll call if anything happens, please?â
You know that Max isnât in any danger, sheâs safe at home with her mother, but across the street resides yellow caution tape and boarded up windows. Eddieâs trailer is across from Maxâs, the proximity makes you uncomfortable. Itâs an eerie feeling, Chrissy died here last night.Â
Max seems to understand your concern, and she allows herself to nod. She doesnât want to fight you, not tonight. âI will, promise.â
Squeezing her hand, you leave Max with a soft reminder to get some sleep. She smiles, a hidden joke between the two of you. Both of you know that there will be no sleeping tonight.Â
Once sheâs gone, itâs just you, Steve, and Dustin remaining in the car. Tension creeps slowly upon the three of you. Dustinâs never ending annoyance towards you clashes with all the unspoken words left floating between you and Steve.Â
Dustin coughs awkwardly. Steveâs fingers tap anxiously on the steering wheel. You keep your head down, your fingers pick at the skin between your nails. The ten minute drive from Maxâs house to yours is unbearably long. Stuck at one of Hawkinsâ only stop lights, Dustin canât take the silence any longer.
âWell, this is awkward.â He says to no one in particular. âLots of tension tonight, huh?â
Neither you nor Steve laugh, and Dustin rests his head against the seat in defeat. He understands why you and him arenât talking, heâs still angry with you for holding a knife to Eddieâs neck. What he doesnât understand, however, is why there seems to be so much distance between you and Steve tonight.
Normally youâd be all over one another by now. The two of you can never keep your hands off of each other. As much as Dustin hates it, heâs grown used to the way your hands are always intertwined with Steveâs. Whenever heâs in the car with you guys, your hand always rests against Steveâs arm as he drives. At red lights Steve will always turn to you, pulled in by your smile.Â
Except tonight Dustin doesnât think heâs seen Steve look at you once during the drive home. Your hand rests softly at your side, balled into a small fist. Thereâs a coldness between the two of you, one Dustin is ashamed to admit that he hadnât noticed before.Â
Then he remembers last night. Heâd been too lost in his anger towards you to recognize the tears in your voice. He hadnât even stopped to consider that you wanted a code blue for any other reason besides lecturing him. His stomach twists with guilt at his own selfish actions.Â
Something happened between you and Steve, and you had needed your brother last night. But he had abandoned you, denied the code blue youâd needed so desperately.Â
When Steveâs car pulls into your driveway, Dustin runs out as soon as the vehicle stops. Heâs frantic to escape his guilt, to escape the chasm that surrounds you and Steve. Slamming the door, he shouts, âTalk to each other!â Then, as an afterthought, he adds, âGood luck, Steve!â
The slam of the door echoes into the night.Â
Itâs just you and Steve, now.Â
The air stills between you, reminiscent of the night you drove him home from the Halloween party. A year has passed since then, itâs been so long since Steveâs presence made you feel anything other than peace. The strings that have always followed you constrict against your throat.Â
âWe need to talk,â Steve says, but at the same time you say, âWe need to talk about Jonathan.â
The words come tumbling out of your mouth, slipping through the grooves of your teeth before you can stop them. Theyâd been building within you all day, fizzling to the surface. And now they spill out into the silence of Steveâs car.Â
His head turns to you, the street lights illuminate the shock and confusion on his handsome face. It pinches with bewilderment, he doesnât understand. He had been ready to apologize to you, despite still not being able to comprehend how you donât see a future with him. Steve doesnât want to fight with you anymore, he was ready to just forgive and forget and hold your hand without the weight of guilt behind it.
Steve had been ready to salvage your relationship, and now you want to talk about Jonathan?
âJonathan?â Shamefully, his voice cracks. He feels like a helpless little kid again, his stomach twists with the foreboding nausea that something bad is about to happen. âWhy⊠why do you want to talk about him?â
The raw frailty on Steveâs face almost kills you. Heâs drawing into himself again, preparing for the final blow that will decimate him and everything he knows.
You take a deep breath. This wonât be easy, nothing youâve ever had to do has been easy. But Steve deserves to know. To hide something from him feels foreign, to lie to him feels like a betrayal.Â
âJonathan, heââ Your voice shakes almost as violently as your hands do. Steve is looking at you but you canât bear to face him just yet. âHe called me last night, after our⊠after our fight.â
âWhat did he say, Y/N?â Steve knows, even before you tell him, where this is going. The light in your eyes whenever you talk about Jonathan is gone. His name doesnât grace your face with a smile. Instead, the grimace of guilt replaces it. Steveâs stomach twists into tighter knots. Itâs happening again.
Inhaling, you close your eyes and try to commit to memory the before. How Steve looked at you with such adoration before tonight. How his soft hands, laced with trust, felt against your skin before tonight. His open gaze, one filled with vulnerability, stared into you before tonight.Â
Opening your eyes, you exhale. Nothing will ever be the same again. âJonathan asked me if I ever wondered if⊠if we made a mistake. Him and I.â
âA mistake?â Steveâs jaw tightens.Â
âI think-I think he was asking me if I ever⊠thought about what couldâve happened between us. If somehow,â you swallow, the words cement in your mouth. âIf-if somehow we made a mistake, choosing you and Nancy.â
Steve is quiet. The muscles in his body pull tightly together. He fills with venom, anger and jealousy and hurt; so much hurt. âAnd you think heâs right.â
It isnât phrased as a question.Â
Immediately your body turns to his. âNo! God, no,â your hands search for any expanse of his skin you can find. Steve doesnât lean into you, he doesnât react to your touch. Panic overwhelms you, suddenly all you can do is talk and plead and beg. âSteve, I donât think Jonathan even knew what he was saying, okay? H-he was high, and heâs been so lonely and-and he kept saying things were easy between me and him but-but thatâs not how love is supposed to work and I know heâs just scared. Heâs scared and heâs never been so alone before and I think-heâs just lost, okay? Heâs lost andââÂ
âWhy are you telling me this, Y/N?â The hardness in Steveâs voice cuts into you, stings your skin. He isnât screaming, not like he did last night, but you almost wish he were. The way his voice is leveled, cold and hard, scares you even more.Â
âWould you rather I didnât?â Youâre helpless against his anger, you know he has every right to be, but you donât know how to fix this.
Steve laughs bitterly. âIâd rather you not make shitty excuses for the asshole.â
âIâm not making excuses for him, I just wanted you to understandââ
âYou are!â His voice raises slightly, almost imperceptibly so, but you hear it anyways. Steveâs chest rises and falls quickly. His hands fly wildly everywhere, he doesnât know what to do, either. Then, almost as quickly as the anger surfaced, insecurity replaces it. âIs⊠Jonathan why you donât see a future with me?â
Your fingers tighten around his wrist, almost as if youâre afraid heâll slip between your fingers any second now. âI do see a future with youââ
âPretty fucking hard to believe when youâre wearing the goddamn necklace he got you.â The words drip with acid. Theyâre hissed out with a jaw clenched so tightly youâre afraid heâll somehow hurt himself.
The words startle you, catch you off guard. Your hand slips from Steveâs wrist. Heâs never once insinuated any jealousy regarding you and Jonathan. Heâs always been so trusting of you two together, heâs always been kind towards him. He always knew that he could never touch what you guys have, and yet his gaze now flickers cruelly to the bee pendant that rests against your neck.Â
What Steve has said hurts you, deeper than he ever intended to. He knows how you love, how deeply you care for others. Itâs who you are. Regardless of the hurt he may be feeling right now, it doesnât give him the right to throw this crucial part of you back in your face.Â
âIâm made of pieces of everyone Iâve ever loved, Steve. You know this.â The bee pendant rests against your skin as heavily as the charm bracelet does.Â
And Steve does know that youâre made of pieces of everyone in your life. Itâs what he loves the most about you. His eyes follow where your fingers reside, skimming the silver chain that encases your wrist. He hadnât meant to say what he did, the words had slipped out before he could stop them.Â
âY/NâŠâ Your name is spoken as an apology, itâs all Steve can manage in his shame.Â
But the moment is ruined, youâre exhausted and all you want to do is go home.Â
You shake your head at Steve, try to hide the tears in your eyes. He sees them anyways. âCan I leave, please?â
The way you ask so delicately to escape breaks Steve. Something in his chest shatters, his mouth fills with the taste of a broken promise. You donât need his permission, he hates that you feel that you do.Â
âYeah,â his voice is softer than itâs been all night, but itâs too late. He knows this. Swallowing, all Steve can do is be gentle with you. âYeah, of course you can leave, angel.â
Angel.
You nod at him; if you try to speak youâre afraid youâll break before him.Â
No other words are spoken between you. Steve watches as you leave.Â
âÂ
The next morning you sit hunched over a mug of coffee, more exhausted than ever before. You havenât slept properly in days now. Dustin finds you with dark circles under your eyes and a pathetic bowl of cereal before you. From the dazed look in your eyes, he knows you havenât noticed his arrival, and he awkwardly clears his throat to get your attention.
âSo, uh.â He scratches the back of his neck, your eyes are slow to look up at him. Pointing to your coffee, Dustin raises his eyebrows. âRough night, I take it?â
You nod, too tired to say anything else. The cereal goes uneaten. Dustin doesnât think your coffee is even warm anymore, he hadnât heard you wake up this morning. Heâs worried that you never even went to bed last night. Youâre pale, sickly so, and Dustin hates that he hadnât noticed the signs sooner.Â
âHey,â he pulls a chair beside you, sits down with a playful shove to your shoulder. Heâs your brother, itâs his job to take care of you just as much as itâs yours to take care of him. Itâs how the two of you have always been.Â
For Dustinâs entire life youâve looked after him, kissing his scraped knees and warding off monsters hidden underneath his bed. When your father left, the depression your mother fell into afterwards left Dustin clinging onto you. You were all he had left.Â
Dustin leans against you, he used to do this when he was a little kid and could still fit between your arms. Resting his head against yours, shoulders pressed together, the angle is awkward and uncomfortable, but itâs safe. âIs it too late to have that code blue?â
Itâs a peace offering, an extension of an apology, and you canât help but smile at your brother. Hand finding his mess of curls, you ruffle his hair and laugh softly. âYeah, guess we can have a code blue now.â
âGood, you know I always love to shit talk Steve.â Dustin says with humor. You both know he admires the boy.
âLanguage,â you remind him as you always do. Dustin knocks his head against yours in response and the two of you break into laughter; laughing with your brother again feels good.
In between sips of cold coffee and bites of soggy cereal, you tell Dustin about Steve. You explain the original argument a few nights ago, how he didnât understand why you wouldnât want him to follow you to New York.Â
âItâs what mom did with dad,â Dustin says, looking down at the table.Â
You nod at him, you knew heâd understand better than anyone. âThatâs what Iâm afraid of.â
âDoes he know what happened with dad?â
âNo, and I know I should explain what he did, but thereâsââ You cut yourself off. Dustin would kill Jonathan with his bare hands if he found out about the phone call. Even though it technically goes against the rules of a code blue, you canât tell Dustin about Jonathan. Not yet, at least. Clearing your throat, you continue. âThereâs⊠other things that have prevented me from explaining dad to Steve.â
Dustin narrows his eyes. âOther things?â
âOther things,â you look pointedly at him, standing your ground about not elaborating. He denied your original code blue. Youâre allowed to lie this one time. âAnd now Steve thinks that I donât see a future with him.â
âWell then heâs an idiot.â Your brother scoffs. Anyone with eyes can see how much you fawn over Steve. Dustin has watched you fall for him for years now. âYouâre practically ready to marry the guy.â
Taking a bite of cereal, you grimace slightly. âOkay, marriage is a little muchââ
âTell that to mom, sheâs already started planning the wedding.âÂ
Of course she has. She wouldnât be Claudia Henderson if she wasnât already planning the names of her grandchildren from Steve.Â
The bite of cereal turns into cement, your heartbeat pounds against your throat. With everything going on with Steve, the hurt the two of you have brought down upon the other, youâre not even sure there will be a wedding at the rate things are going.Â
As the days go on, you can feel Steve slipping away from you more and more.
Dustin must sense that the subject is hurting you, so he stands from his seat and claps his hands together. âAlright, I feel like weâve covered our bases for a code blue. Checked all the boxes, felt the feelings needed to be felt.â
âI donât like the feelings being felt,â you mumble, shoving your bowl away. Youâre still drawn into yourself, pale and frail and unlike the lively girl your brother has come to miss. He knows things have been difficult between the two of you, a strain that canât quite be loosened.Â
Dustin falters, his bravado fades. He sighs again and his hand settles against your shoulder. He looks at you with sincerity, his expression softens. âLook, you and Steve will figure things out. You guys always do.â
And he truly believes this. Steve loves you with such a ferocity that rivals your love for him. Dustin canât imagine a world in which youâre no longer with Steve, where heâs let go of you and allowed you to walk away.Â
Except Dustin doesnât know how to express this to you, but you can understand him anyways. Placing your hand over his, you squeeze it. âThanks, Dustin.â
He smiles back at you and the code blue is over. The moment lingers for only a second longer before he frowns and sits back down next to you. âDo you think Eddie will be okay?â
And there it is. Eddie fucking Munson again.Â
Shoving down your annoyance, you force yourself to focus on the situation from last night. As hurt as you are that Dustin wants to talk about Eddie right now, you can understand why he would. Chrissy died in front of him, heâs being accused of murder.Â
Youâre just being childish, easily irritated from lack of sleep and the stress of it all.Â
âI donât know, I meanâŠthe cops will be looking for him.â With ease you fall back into strategizing, putting the situation above your own thoughts and feelings. Your mind spins with everything you need to do, trying to come up with whatever you can do to help. âIf we have any shot of protecting him, we need to figure out what they know.â
Dustin nods, following along. âCerebro can tap into the Hawkins PD system, we can easily get intel from there.â
âIt terrifies me that Cerebro can hack into our townâs police system.â
âBe grateful I stopped there, Suzie wouldnât let me use it to tap into NASA.â
You learn two things after using Cerebro to gather information.Â
One, the radio is far too powerful to reside in your fourteen year old brotherâs hands. Heâs able to access the PD system with incredible ease, almost as if heâs done so before. Itâd be impressive if you didnât know the horrors that went on inside the kidâs head.
Two, Eddie is well and truly fucked.Â
Heâs the main suspect. They think heâs killed Chrissy and have every man in the force scouring Hawkins to find him. Her death was gruesome, you understand the manhunt that unfolds. Dustin, however, nearly loses his mind when he hears chief Powell instructing his men to search Eddieâs neighborhood for the teen.Â
âWe have to go warn him,â Dustin scrambles to his feet, the chair almost toppling over in his haste. âWe need to leave, now.â
There isnât time to argue, Dustin is already ringing Steveâs number. Either heâs already forgotten about your argument with the teen, or maybe he just doesnât care. Regardless, the thought of seeing Steve again so soon after last night makes your stomach churn. You want to stop Dustin, make up some excuse to him about why you canât help Eddie, but you know it wouldnât matter. Your brother would only beg you to come, your worry for him would force you to listen.Â
All you can do is drop your head into your hands and sigh.
âÂ
It was your idea to stop and get Eddie food.Â
Steve had arrived at your house within minutes. Dustin immediately went for the passenger seat, which was more than okay with you, and Steve had mumbled a soft âhelloâ to the two of you. His greeting went ignored by you, still trying to find your breath around him, and Dustin, who promptly demanded that Steve pick up Robin and Max before returning to the boathouse.Â
Halfway to Maxâs, the silence in the car was thickening rapidly, so you offhandedly suggested stopping at the local grocery store to get Eddie some food and water. You figured he would appreciate the small act of kindness, especially considering the grime news youâd be delivering to him soon. That, and itâd give you an excuse to leave Steveâs car for a few moments and steady your breathing.Â
The boathouse isnât nearly as creepy in the daylight, but still you make sure your knives are in your pocket before approaching it. Robin walks beside you, helping you and Dustin carry the groceries, while Max and Steve walk silently behind.Â
âThink we got him enough?â Robin asks, holding up one of the grocery bags. âI mean, donât stoners eat a lot? Munchies or whatever?â
Rolling your eyes, you undo one of the buttons on your sweater, allowing the crisp spring air to soak your body. The sun is too warm to be worrying about whatever stoners eat. âIf he complains, then he can starve.âÂ
âCatâs got claws today,â Robin nudges you with her arm. Turning to make sure Steve is far enough away so he doesnât overhear, she lowers her voice. âGuessing the talk didnât go well last night?â
âOh, it was just peachy,â you grit out through a forced smile. âBut we have to focus on harboring a murder suspect right now.â Because nothing in your life can ever be simple. If you arenât hunting monsters, youâre protecting the town. If you arenât protecting the town, youâre fighting alternate dimensions.
Robin opens her mouth to say something, but Dustin shoulders past her and bursts through the boathouse doors, ending your conversation. âDelivery service!âÂ
Eddie nearly has a heart attack at the abrupt entrance. He jumps out of his skin and clutches at his chest after letting out a very unmanly yelp. The reaction is almost enough to brighten your foul mood, momentarily forgetting that Steve stands behind you.Â
âSomeoneâs jumpy,â you sidestep your brother and walk over towards the table. Setting the groceries down, you begin to unload them. âWe got you some food, but please donât eat it all at once. I really donât want to spend any more money on you.â
âThanksâŠ?â Eddie slowly approaches you, both relieved for the food and offended you seem so begrudged to have gotten it for him in the first place. From his few interactions with you since last night, heâs coming to learn that youâre far from the girl who showed him such selfless kindness all those years ago.
Eddie doesnât think you even remember what you did for him. He had been at such a low point in his life, one failed exam away from dropping out of high school and disappointing his uncle, until you appeared. Itâd been your sophomore year, Eddieâs failed one, and you had given him your pencil.
The action had been small, meniscal, yet it saved Eddieâs life. He hadnât brought his own pencil for some stupid English exam. Heâd been too nervous for it that he had forgotten his, and Mrs. Greer, the teacher who couldnât have cared less whether or not Eddie died, threatened to fail him.Â
The threat sank deep into his bones, freezing his intestines with dread. Eddie had promised his uncle heâd try harder in school, that heâd graduate, and yet he couldn't do something as simple as bringing a pencil to an exam. Close to tears, embarrassed and overwhelmed, Eddie almost hadnât registered your softly whispered voice.
âHere,â you tapped his shoulder. Eddie remembers turning around, surprised you were even talking to him, and he remembers the immediate relief that sagged his bones when he saw the pencil extended in offering. He had nodded curtly at you before frantically rushing to begin the exam. Heâd already wasted five minutes, he couldnât afford any more.Â
It would only be later that Eddie learned you willingly failed the exam because youâd given him your only pencil, just so he wouldnât fail. In the end, he passed. It was the first exam Eddie had passed in a long, long time; his uncle had been so proud of him that he bought him his electric guitar.
Eddie never thanked you for that.Â
And now you stand in front of him, once again extending your arm out to him with yet another offering, but your eyes are cold. Your body is tense around Eddieâs, he doesnât miss the wide berth you seem to always give him.Â
âThanks,â he says to you again, clearing his throat uncomfortably. He accepts the box of cereal you offer him and he wills himself to smile. âI, uh. Appreciate it. Iâd offer to pay you back, butâŠâ
âYouâre wanted for murder.â You finish for Eddie.Â
He drops his head. âYeah, it kinda ruins a personâs life, ya know?â
âI donât, actually. Never been accused of killing someone.â
Eddie blinks at you. He doesnât know what to do with the disdain you display towards him. âRight.â He looks at Dustin for help, silently begging the kid to step in before you gut him with your knives.
âOkay, why donât you crack open that box of honey combs while we all gather around for a fun story time!â Dustin sets down the remaining groceries and ushers everyone to spread around the boathouse.Â
ââStorytimeâ?â Eddie asks him, looking around in confusion.Â
âY/N and Dustin did some detective work,â Robin offers him, trying to make her voice sound as cheery as possible. âThey-uh. Well they found-I mean,â she doesnât know how to break the news to Eddie, she feels awful for the guy. Deflating, she mumbles, âTheyâre definitely good detectives.â
Eddie only looks more confused by this, and Dustin sits down awkwardly on a stool next to you. âSo, we got, uh. Some good news and some bad news.â
You snort at your brother. Steve stands next to you, his body angled away from you so that your skin doesnât touch. The distance is small enough to go unnoticed by anyone, yet itâs a chasm that your stomach drops into. âThatâs really how youâre gonna break it to him?âÂ
âWhat are you guys breaking to me?â Eddie asks, eyes wide.
Dustin hits your leg and gets the teenâs attention. âIgnore her, look at me, alright? Now, how do you prefer it? Good or bad first?â
âBad news first, always.â Eddie doesnât even think about his answer, he responds immediately while shoving cereal into his mouth.Â
âThe bad news is that youâre pretty fucked.â You inform him, arms crossed over your chest. Thereâs no easy way to lessen the blow of what you overhead from Hawkins PD. The news is bad, itâs all bad.Â
Dustin snaps his head towards you, âY/N!â
âIâm not going to lie to the guy or sugarcoat things!âÂ
âWould you just let me handle itââ
âDustin,â Eddie hasnât moved from his seat. His hand remains in the cereal box, his voice jagged and defeated. Heâs tired. He just wants to go home. âJust say it.â
Your brotherâs shoulders drop, the anger in his eyes extinguished. âWe⊠We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and theyâre definitely looking for you.â
âChief Powell thinks you killed Chrissy.â Unable to look at Eddie, your eyes trace the ground. As much as you hate him, you canât help but feel awful for the hand heâs been dealt. No one will possibly believe heâs innocent. âHe ordered all his men to track you down before word gets out that youâre the prime suspect.â
âWhich leads us to the good news: your name hasnât gone public yet.â Robin continues for you, her own expression pitying. âBut if Y/N and Dustin could find out about you during breakfast, then itâs a matter of time before others do, too.â
âAnd once that gets out,â you shake your head, you know how cruel a small town like Hawkins can be. âThereâs going to be a lot of angry people who know your name.â
Eddie clenches his jaw. You can see tears forming in his eyes; youâre not sure if theyâre from frustration or fear. He inhales sharply, licks his lips in disdain. âHunt the freak, right?â
Itâs the way he says it, with so much despair and venom in his voice. The look of resignation on Eddieâs face breaks your heart. He knows his odds, heâs been tormented and abused his entire life by the people in Hawkins. Youâve heard all the stories. The exile he faced because of how he looked, who he would hang out with, the music he listened to and the drugs he smoked.Â
Eddie Munson, the freak. The moment the town finds out heâs wanted for murder, youâre afraid heâll never come out of it alive.Â
The ice-hot contempt you feel for him begins to melt. Heâs only a year or two older than you, still just a scared kid with no place to call home anymore. Despite the protests of your body, you step towards Eddie and place a hand on his shoulder. Your hand is tense, your fingers scratch on the rough material of his denim jacket, but he seems to calm at the touch.Â
âHey, weâll protect the freak, alright?â You mean what you tell him, your hand warms his skin. Whatever history you have with Eddie, good or bad, it doesnât matter right now. He needs you, heâs lost and alone.Â
Eddie looks up at you, your kindness startles him slightly, but he doesnât move away. Instead, his eyes find yours. Theyâre brown, almost doe-eyed, with a vulnerability within them so intense that it leaves a lump in your throat.Â
âWe wonât let anything happen to you, Eddie.â Dustinâs voice cuts through, reminding you of where you are. Stumbling slightly, you remove your hand and walk back over to Steve, who gives you an odd, confused look. You ignore him. âWe have to find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence.âÂ
âThatâs all, Dustin?â Eddie mocks, he doesnât stand a chance and he knows it.
Dustin draws into himself, uncertain, before letting out a feeble response. You allow yourself to smile, enjoying his wallowing. You understand where Eddie is coming from. âIt is a lot that we have to do in order to clear his name.â
âOkay, I know that everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but weâve actually been through this before.â Robin tries to reassure him. Sheâs leaning against a doorframe, sheâs trying her best not to let her own uncertainty show.Â
âWeâve been here before,â you say with slight bitterness. âYouâd be surprised how many times weâve almost died.â
Robin laughs nervously. âWell, mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related. I didnât necessarily almost die, but Y/N has some pretty sick scars on her body and Steve has been concussed more times than heâs had girlfriendsââ
âGet to the point, Robin.â Steve finally speaks up, no hint of amusement in his voice. His hand rests besides yours, his fingers ache to curl against your skin. Youâre wearing a soft blue sweater, tucked into your skirt, and your eyes shine against the spring cold. He doesnât want to be here right now.
âRight. The bottom line is, collectively, I really feel we got this.â
Unable to bear the itch in his skin to touch you, Steve brings his hand to his face and rubs at his jaw to distract himself. âExcept we usually rely on this girl who has superpowers, but-uh. Those went bye-bye, soââ
âAnd sheâs in California, hundreds of miles from here.â You add on, picking at your nails. The topic makes you uncomfortable. With California comes the reminder of Jonathan.
Robin points at you and Steve. âBoth good points, so I guess you could say weâre more in the-in theâŠ?â
âBrainstorming phase.â Max supplies, which Steve snaps his fingers in agreement and Dustin hums thoughtfully.Â
âThereâs-uh. Thereâs nothing to worry about!â Your brother says unconvincingly, voice high pitched and full of lies.Â
Eddie stares at everyone around him, studying the collective mess that he somehow must place all his trust in. None of you can give him a straight answer about what will happen next, and as you listen to Steve and Dustin try again to make sense of whatâs going on, you recognize how hopeless it all sounds.Â
âWe may not sound like much,â you interrupt the boys, trying again to ease the hopelessness Eddie must be feeling. âBut weâre kind of your only option right nowââ
The distant wailing of sirens drown out your words, loud and piercing. The sound sets everyone into a panic. Robin instructs Dustin to cover Eddie with a tarp while you, Max, and Steve run towards the window. Squished together, you watch as multiple cop cars fly down the street with an ambulance following them; your breath catches.Â
The last time you saw this many cop cars speeding through Hawkins, they had been a dead body in the quarry. It had been Willâs body, lifeless and pale. You had watched as his body was pulled from the water, you held Lucas and Dustin as they cried.
Only this time Will is in California, far away from danger. The onslaught of cars can only mean one thing.Â
âI thinkâŠâ Your mouth fills with syrupy dread, coating your tongue with grief. Breathing becomes difficult. You hope, more than anything, that youâre wrong. âI think someone else died.â
The moment the words leave your lips, Steve grabs his keys and instructs everyone to get into his car. He doesn't ask any questions, he doesnât question how you know. Dustin quickly tells Eddie to stay in the boathouse while you leave.Â
Your eyes squeeze shut as Steve drives, your hand clutches the seat in terror. Every second that passes, your body becomes heavier and heavier from dread. Steveâs knuckles are white against the steering wheel. Robin canât look at you, Max and Dustin donât say a word.
The white blanket draped over a body is what you see first. A horde of police surround it, there are lights flashing everywhere. People crowd behind a barricade, necks straining to get a look at the body on the ground.Â
Then you see who the cops are talking to, and your heart drops.Â
âNancy,â you breathe out, already opening Steveâs door before he can even park the car. Something terrible has happened. Nancy stands in front of the officers, her arms crossed against her chest as if to calm herself down. Sheâs never looked so weak, she needs you.
Standing outside the car, the others join you. Steve has parked as close as he can to the crime scene, no one moves. Nancy releases a shaky breath when her eyes find yours. Raising her hand, she waves at you, unsure, and you wave back. She smiles, timid but genuine, and a pit forms in your stomach.
You havenât told Nancy about Jonathan.Â
Steve looks away from her, gaze turning towards you, and heâs thinking the same thing.Â
âÂ
Nancy guides everyone to a park bench at the trailer park. She doesnât say anything as you all walk, her eyes are exhausted. The police hadnât wanted her to leave just yet, they had more questions for her, but youâd quickly spoke with the men to let her go.Â
Sitting around the table, a bitter cold creeps into the air. The sun is out yet winter still lingers. Nancy sits across from you with Robin and Max next to her. Youâre with the boys, Steve pushes his weight against you while Dustin sits stiffly beside you.Â
Seeing Nancyâs sunken cheeks and glass eyes, you reach across the table and grab her hand. âWhat happened, Nance?â
Tears well in her eyes and for once she doesnât wipe them away. Nancyâs hand twitches in yours, she doesnât hold onto you like you do her. Sheâs grieving, youâve come to learn all the signs of someone who has lost a friend. âIt-itâs Fred.â
She explains what theyâd been doing, investigating Chrissyâs death at the trailer park. Guilt laces her words, she didnât think anything would happen to Fred. Heâs always been sweet to her, his crush obvious to you but unknown to her. A shiver runs through you; Fred was smart, he was nice to you whenever you spent your days in the yearbook room.Â
He didnât deserve to die. Neither did Chrissy.Â
âThat makes two deaths in two days,â you say out loud, voicing what everyone else is thinking. Death is common in Hawkins, an inevitability of what lies underneath it, but thereâs never been such gruesome deaths so close together. âItâs happening again.â
âWhatâs happening again?â Nancy shakes her head. âI-I donât understand, you guys already know whatâs causing all of this?â
âWe have a working theory, but itâs⊠not great.â Dustin slouches down, he isnât sure how much he can explain to the girl with all that he still doesnât know. âWe think itâs connected to Chrissyâs death, something killed her in Eddieâs trailer. He told us she had gone into some sort of trance before her bones snapped and her eyes exploded..â
Nancy grimaces at the gory imagery and you squeeze her hand again. âIâm sorry about Fred.â
She gives you a tight smile before turning to your brother. âA trance? Like El? You arenât⊠do you really think this has something to do withââ
âThe Upside Down.â You and Max say at the same time.
ââItâs happening againâ,â Nancy echoes your words from moments ago. She understands, now. âSo this-this thing that killed Fred and Chrissy is from the Upside Down?â
Steve nods at her and Dustin sighs heavily. âWe think he attacks with a spell, or maybe even a curse.â
âBut we donât know if heâs under the Mind Flayerâs control,â you point out. âFor all we know, he could just be someone with Elâs powers. We know the lab tested on other kids, right?â
Max looks up at you and her face twists with apprehension. âI donât know, something feels different about this, itâs almost like itâs something new. I donât think itâs anyone like El.â
âIt doesnât make sense.â Nancy mumbles.
âNo, I think Max is right. Something feels off about all of this.â Your arms draw together, itâs impossibly cold for late March. The chill has set into your bones.Â
Nancy nods at you, but thereâs something else on her mind. âBut Fred and Chrissy also donât make sense. I mean, why them?â
âMaybe they were just in the wrong place? They were both at the game.â Dustin offers, and you shiver again.
Billy had been in the wrong place, too. Itâs how the Mind Flayer got him. Heâd just been unlucky and alone.
âAnd the trailer park,â Max adds.
Steveâs eyes widen slightly, he shifts against you and unconsciously moves you closer to him. âWeâre at the trailer park, should we⊠maybe not be here?â
The wind picks up and a crow cries overhead. The barren grass rustles as shadows fall against it. Your spine prickles with nerves. Steve is right to be worried. Thereâs something eerie about the trailer park, the caution tape that guards Eddieâs door is still too fresh.Â
You wrap your sweater tighter to your body, cold with unease. Nancyâs eyes flicker around the park as the wind rustles the leaves. âFred started acting weird the second we got here.â
Robin asks what she means, and when Nancy begins to explain how scared and on edge Fred had been, a dull throb slowly creeps up the base of your neck. The sensation builds until itâs a roar of nerve endings exploding against your temple, and you wince in pain.
Steveâs fingers skim the crest of your wrist. âHey,â heâs lowered his voice so the others canât hear, he knows you never like to worry others. âYou okay?â
âIâm fine,â the concern in Steveâs eyes burns you. He hasnât spoken to you all day, but still his skin warms yours and he wants to make sure youâre safe. Comfortable. Okay. Even with the anger between you and all the unspoken half-truths, he still cares about you.Â
You want to tell him that you havenât slept in days, that the nightmares are back and that theyâre worse than ever before. You want to rest your head against his chest and listen to his heartbeat. Itâs the only way youâve been able to keep the migraines at bay.Â
But you donât tell Steve any of this. Instead, you lie through your teeth. âIâm fine,â you reassure him again. There isnât time for you not to be okay. Two people have died already, your migraines can wait.Â
Steve doesnât look convinced. He knows you, he knows how you are and how much you push down for the sake of others, but before he can press you further, Robin interrupts. âHey, lovebirds, weâre trying to solve a murder case here.â
âIâm listening,â you roll your eyes at her, skin flushing a bit with embarrassment. âAnyways, what if Fred and Chrissy saw something that made them go catatonic? I think we should be focusing on the trace-like state more, itâs a trauma response.â
âWhat, so theyâre insane asylum patients?â Dustin asks with slight displeasure. âI mean, I guess that makes sense. But Vecna can cast spells, at least in DnD. I donât think they just âsawâ something.âÂ
Steve scratches his nose. âIf I saw some freaky wizard monster, I would mention it to someone.â
âWould you, though?â You donât mean for the question to come off as condescending, and you quickly try to alleviate the offended look on the teenâs face. âWhat I mean is, who would you go to about something like that?â
âI⊠I think I know who theyâd go to.â Max stares down at the table, her eyebrows furrowed together. Sheâs deep in thought, remembering something. âI saw Chrissy leaving Ms. Kellyâs office. If you saw a monster, you wouldnât go to the police.â
âTheyâd never believe you,â you bear your weight against the table. Nostalgia wraps around you at the memory of how scared youâd been to tell Hopper about El, the years it took for you to trust him. âThatâs why I never went to Hopper when I first found El.â
Max nods, sheâs relieved you get where sheâs going with this. âExactly, but you might go to yourââ
âShrink.â Robin finishes, sending you an apologetic smile for the offensive language against the profession you hope to one day go into. âNo offense, Y/N.â
You roll your eyes, feeling defensive. âAgain with calling Ms. Kelly a shrink. Sheâs not a shrink, sheâs actually really nice.â
âYou sound like you know her personally.â Dustin narrows his eyes at you. Nothing goes unnoticed by him.Â
All eyes turn to you, and you sink down in embarrassment. âIâve⊠had a few meetings with her.â
Simultaneously both Steve and Dustin widen their eyes. They hadnât known you were seeing Ms. Kelly. Nancy looks at you curiously, Robin bites her lip, and Max nods solemnly. Itâs a large range of reactions, one that makes you anxious to deal with. âCan everyone stop staring at me, please?â
Steve lets out a quick breath and runs a hand through his hair. âYou didnât tell me you were seeing the schoolâs guidance counselor, Y/N.â
âShe didnât tell me, either.â Dustin mumbles bitterly. Youâve never hidden anything from him before. He wonders, distantly, when you started to.
âI didnât want to worry you guys, it really isnât a big deal.â When both boys bristle at this, you hold your hand up to silence them. âNo, I donât want to hear it. Itâs not like I was seeing Ms. Kelly for anything serious, okay? Sheâs the guidance counselor, so I just. You know. Needed some guidance.â
Itâs a horrible lie, you know that no one believes you, but they take pity on you and move on. Originally you really were seeing Ms. Kelly for college admissions help, but after a few sessions you slowly started opening up to her about the sleepless nights. The image of Billyâs lifeless body. Maxâs screams.Â
Nancy clears her throat and changes the topic. She comes up with what to do next, creating a plan to ask Ms. Kelly what she knows, and you sit silently. Youâre relieved the attention is finally off of you. Within minutes a plan is formed: you and Max will talk to Ms. Kelly to try and get more information.
Steve agrees to drive to the house. As youâre walking to his passenger side door, he notices that Nancy isnât following. Instead, sheâs going to her own car. âHey, Nance. Whereâre you going?â
Nancy turns around, a guilty but determined look on her face. Her eyes land on you, knowing youâll be the hardest to convince of her plan. âThereâs just-thereâs something I want to check on first.â
Predictably, your shoulders tense and your eyes ignite with worry. âPlease donât make me remind you that there are people dying right now. You canât seriously think itâs safe to be on your own.â
âI can protect myself, Y/N.â Nancy reminds you gently, understanding your concern but knowing it isnât needed.
âYou care to share with the rest of us?â Dustin calls over to the two of you.
âI donât want to waste your time,â Nancy shoves her hands into her jean jacket. âItâs⊠a real shot in the dark.â
You frown at this. âIf itâs something you think is worth looking into, then it isnât a shot in the dark. Youâve always been right.â
Nancy blushes at your words, but Steve silently fumes beside you. He canât believe what heâs hearing. âAre you guys out of your mind? No way is Nancy flying solo with Vecna on the loose.â
âI never said that she should fly solo,â you say slowly, not at all liking how heâs twisting your words. You had been complimenting Nancyâs intelligence, restoring her faith back into her work. You donât understand where this protectiveness from Steve is coming from. âI know itâs too dangerous, thatâs why I was going to suggestââ
âYouâre right. Itâs too dangerous. Bottom line. She needs someone to-Christ.â Steve isnât listening. Heâs too caught up in his head as tosses his keys to Robin, who only barely manages to catch them. âHere, Y/N and I will stick with Nance.â
You cross your arms and glare at him. âIâm sorry?â
Steve doesnât look at you, heâs too busy staring at Nancy, and for a brief second you truly believe that thereâs something soft in his gaze when he looks at her. Theyâre friends, you know this. Thereâs a history between them that rivals your history with Jonathan. Nancy was Steveâs first love, and now he loves you, and you try desperately to shake the insecurity that you feel.Â
If youâre being completely honest, youâre not even sure why youâre suddenly thinking all of this. Youâve never been insecure, at least not in your relationship with Steve. During the almost year youâve been with him, thereâve been times girls have flirted with him or old flings that have tried to vie for his attention. But through it all your trust in him never wavered, you knew that at the end of the day it was your bed he was crawling into.Â
And yet thereâs a voice in the back of your head telling you that the way Steve is looking at Nancy right now is different; itâs how he looks at you. The voice is darker, more cruel. Itâs one you donât recognize, and yet you do.Â
Steve seems to come back to himself and turns to you. âRobin can go with the kids to the shrink. Max can talk to her alone, itâs no big deal.â
Robin holds the keys away from her as if theyâre poisoned. âI donât think you want me driving your car.â
âWhy?â
âI donât have a license.â
Steve shakes his head with impatience. âWhy donât you have a license?â
âIâm poor,â Robin shrugs, and you laugh slightly.Â
Max raises her hand. âI can drive.â
âNo!â You and Steve exclaim at the same time, both of you getting war flashbacks to when Max had driven you after Billy had knocked you guys unconscious. Itâd been a rough night and waking up to a thirteen year old driving a sports car definitely hadn't helped.Â
âPlease,â you look at Max with genuine longing. âNever, ever drive me ever again.â
âLiterally anyone but youââ Steve sees Dustin make a face, offering himself to drive, and the older teen snaps his fingers at him in annoyance. âNo chance.â
You shake your head as well. No way in hell are you allowing the kid to drive either. âAbsolutely not, Dustin. You couldnât even drive a golf cart properly.â
âI did a decent job!â
âI still think youâre the one who gave Steve his third concussion with your horrible braking.â
âWe were being chased by evil Russians!âÂ
Robin steps between you and your brother, holding her hands up. âAlright, this is stupid.â She grabs Dustinâs walkie from his backpack and marches to Nancy while handing Steve his keys. âUs ladies, sans Y/N, will stick together. Unless Steve thinks we need him to protect us?â
She raises her eyebrows, challenging the teen, and you watch him. He shuffles nervously, ducks his head down. Steve is guilty and ashamed and embarrassed. Your stomach clenches.Â
âHe knows better than to doubt you guys,â you step in for him, saving him. âRight, Steve?â
Nancy laughs at the look of fear on his face and Robin smirks. Satisfied, they turn around and start to head towards Nancyâs car. You wish them luck as they leave, tell them to be safe. They wave back at you, and although you wish you could join them, you know that Max will want you by her side while she talks to Ms. Kelly.Â
Once the girls are gone, you hit Steveâs chest. âNice one, buddy.â
He lets out a pained huff, but he doesnât say anything. He knows he had it coming. With a sigh he follows you back to his car and gets into the driverâs seat. Dustin stares at him through the rearview mirror with a shit eating grin on his face. Tired, Steve glares at him. âNot a word.â
âI didnât say anything.â Dustin defends himself.
âNo, but you were going to, and-hey,â Steve turns in his seat and glares even more at your brother. âDid you make sure to wipe your feet?â
âYes,â Dustin says at the same time as you and Max say, âNo.â
Steve pinches the bridge of his nose and starts the car angrily. His movements are jerky and uncontrolled. âAlways the goddamn babysitter!â He exclaims, resentment marring his face.
You jump slightly at his raised voice. He hates being sidelined, you know this. Similar to you, all Steve ever wants to do is help. He does whatever he can, he tries harder than anyone. Itâs what you first fell for, back when Steve originally crashed into your life.Â
Itâs because of his kindness and devotion to others that you reach for Steveâs hand. His skin is cold, goosebumps raise at your touch, but you interlock your fingers through his and slowly, piece by piece, Steve relaxes.Â
Heâs missed your touch. Youâve missed his, too.
âÂ
Ms. Kelly, to her credit, tries to mask her surprise when she sees you and Max standing at her door. âOh, hello, girls.â
âHi,â you smile kindly at the woman. âWe really hate to bother you over spring break, but do you possibly have a minute to talk?â
âWith the two of you?â Ms. Kelly knew that you and Max were both grieving Billy, but she hadnât known that you knew each other. âY/N, Iâm sure youâre aware that this is highly unusual to request.â
You wince. âYeah, Iâm definitely aware that this is a pretty strange thing to ask. Itâs just that I was the one who convinced Max to start seeing you in the first place, and now that Iâm also seeing you, we figured we could⊠talk to you together?â
Itâs a horrible excuse. The lie is vague and too transparent to believe. Neither you or Max had a lot of time to come up with a convincing cover story during the drive here.Â
âI donât know,â Ms. Kellyâs face strains with contemplation.Â
Max softens her eyes and does her best to look small, pleading. âPlease?â
You try to appear troubled as well, though it isnât hard. Your headache hasnât left. The pounding in your head has only intensified since leaving the trailer park. Ms. Kellyâs gaze flits between you and Max, reading for any signs of lying or ill-will, before her resolve crumbles.
âOh, alright.â She opens her door wider, ushers the two of you inside. âCome in.â
Steve and Dustin watch as you disappear inside the house. Theyâve parked across the street, opting to be the lookout in case anything happens. You spare one last glance over your shoulder, eyes meeting Steveâs, before Ms. Kelly closes the door.Â
âOkay, theyâre in.â Steve states the obvious, slightly unsettled to be stuck in the car while youâre inside.
âIâm missing collarbones, not eyes.â Dustin snorts. He expects Steve to say something snarky in response, but then he notices that the teen is still staring longingly out the window, tracing Ms. Kellyâs door. He looks pathetic, waiting for you, and Dustin sighs. âSo⊠we gonna talk about it?â
Steveâs eyes linger on the doorway, a far off look on his face. When he realizes that Dustin has spoken, he turns to him slowly. âHuh? Sorry, talk about what?â
âYour temporary insanity earlier today when you basically threw yourself at Nance? In front of my sister?âÂ
âOkay, first of all, thatâs not what happened.â
Dustin glares at Steve, defensive over you. âOh, really? Iâm pretty sure it did, there were a lot of witnesses. Y/N included.â
âWhat are you implying, little Henderson?â Steve rubs his face, too tired for the kidâs mind games. He knows he was being weird earlier with Nancy, but he would never do that to you. Ever. He had simply been overwhelmed and confused and feeling a multitude of things that he still isnât ready to face.
âIâm not implying anything,â Dustin puts his hands up. âAll Iâm saying is that I know you and Y/N have been fighting lately and that for some stupid reason, youâre doubting your relationship.â
Steve throws his head back against the seat. Of course you told Dustin about last night. âLook, Iâm not-Iâm not doubting our relationship, alright? I mean, I love her, man. So, so much. We just⊠things have been hard, lately. Really fucking hard.â
He isnât sure how much youâve told your brother. He doesnât think youâd tell him about Jonathan, at least not until you know yourself whatever the hell heâd been trying to tell you the other night.Â
Dustin doesnât say anything for a few moments. He stares past Steve, his eyes almost seem to glaze over. âItâs because sheâs leaving, isnât it?â
All the air in Steveâs lungs gets knocked out of him. âYes,â he breathes out. His mouth is dry. He swallows, his tongue feels too thick for his mouth. âSometimes it feels like sheâs, I donât know, like sheâs outgrown me? I-I know itâs stupid, but sheâs going so far for college and Iâm stuck in Hawkins like some fucking moron and she-she didnât want me going with her.âÂ
âDid you know that I cried when she got into NYU?â Dustin asks him, a hurt smile on his face. When Steve shakes his head, the boy inhales deeply. âYeah, cried like a baby the whole night. I mean, I knew she applied, I knew sheâd get in, but⊠youâre right. She is going pretty far. Iâve never,â he wipes at his eyes quickly, embarrassed that heâs crying. âIâve never had to spend a single day without my sister.â
Steve stares at your brother, finally beginning to understand the distance between the two of you. For weeks now itâs all youâve complained about to Steve. How much you resented Eddie for being Dustinâs new favorite person, how much you miss singing with him in the kitchen while you baked. But now here Dustin is, teary eyed, explaining to Steve just how scared he is to be without his sister. âIt feels like sheâs leaving you, too.â
âYeah,â Dustin wipes his eyes again, nodding. âYeah, sometimes it feels like she canât wait to get out of this town.â
âEven though weâll still be here,â Steve says solemnly.Â
Itâs quiet again. A few birds sing in the tree above them. You and Max havenât returned, yet. After a while, Dustin turns to Steve. âShe doesnât mean it, you know.â
âWho?â
âY/N,â the boy clarifies, and Steveâs heart skips a beat. âShe doesnât mean it when she says she doesnât want you going with her to New York. Sheâs just⊠sheâs scared, and she knows that it isnât what you really want. Nothing gets past her, itâs really annoying.â
Steve scoffs a bit, fondness running through him. Dustinâs right. Nothing ever gets past you, you notice and see everything. But then he thinks about what your brother has said, the fear he hadnât known about. âWhy would she be scared?âÂ
Dustin stiffens in his seat, his gaze once again blurs. He twists his hands anxiously, fixes his hat. The atmosphere shifts, Steve can see that heâs uncomfortable now. Heâs about to tell Dustin that he doesnât have to answer, but the kid does anyways. âOur parents, they-um. Met in college.â
Steve sits up as well. You and Dustin never talk about your parents, at least not about your father. Steve canât remember the last time youâve even mentioned him. He thinks maybe the man had called you once, during Christmas.Â
âThey got married right before graduation. Our mom had been pregnant with Y/N, they got hitched and in their marital bliss, our dad somehow convinced our mom to leave Indiana. She grew up here, but our dad was from Virginia and he insisted that she move there.â
Bitter. Dustin is bitter.
âEverything was fine, I guess. I liked Virginia. Y/N did, too. But our mom was lonely, anyone could see that. We lived in a pretty small town, our dad was basically a goddamn Kennedy there. Everyone adored him, but our mom⊠things were different for her. She was always in his shadow, but Y/N and I were too young to notice for a long time.â
Steve swallows. âAnd then⊠the divorce?âÂ
âThe stupid fucking divorce.â Dustin spits out. âIt wasnât a surprise, but somehow we still felt blindsided. One day our dad was charming, cracking jokes with everyone and playing the guitar with us, then the next he just-he snapped. Became bitter, mean. Y/N idolized him, but when our parents started fighting every night and our mom cried over some woman named Carry⊠I lost my sister, for a while.â
âShe told me,â Steve whispers, remembering the rawness in your voice the night you confessed to him that you were once cruel. âI had to remind her that she came back, in the end.â
The corners of Dustinâs mouth turn upwards slightly. âYeah, she came back.â But then his expression darkens, his mood sours. âOur mother almost didnât, though. After having to move back to Hawkins with barely any money to support us, it basically destroyed her. She had lost all her friends by that point, her own parents died while we lived in Virginia.âÂ
âIâm sorry,â Steveâs throat constricts. He hadnât known any of this. He feels like such an asshole now for assuming the worst in you. For allowing his own insecurities to blind him. âI-I didnât know about any of that.âÂ
âYeah, well.â Dustin shrugs. âNow you do. And you need to know that Y/N is being her usual selfless self because of our mom and what happened to her. She doesn't want that happening to you, dipshit.â
Steve exhales through his nose, his head is swimming with so many more questions, so many apologies he wishes he could say. Instead, he stares out the window, waiting for you to return.Â
â
âSo, what would you girls like to discuss with me?â The clock on Ms. Kellyâs walk ticks ominously behind her. Sheâs seated you and Max in her basement den. You can tell by the stack of books and messy desk that she uses the area as her makeshift office.Â
Max slouches against her seat. âOh, itâs nothing too serious, we were justââ
âIâm worried about Max.â You interrupt the girl, not daring to look at her.
Ms. Kelly raises an eyebrow. âOh?â
âI think with all the murders happening, it might be affecting her.â It isnât necessarily a lie. You have been worried about Max and her behavior. Especially these last few weeks. âIt might be resurfacing some⊠memories.â
Max tries to argue, but Ms. Kelly holds her hand up. âYouâve both experienced trauma, Y/N. She lost her brother while you held his dying body.â
A lump forms in your throat, your lungs feel cold.Â
The woman turns to Max, now. âAnd when you keep your feelings in, your pain, bottled up the way you do, it doesnât take much to trigger them again. I can see why Y/N may be worried.â
Max doesnât meet Ms. Kellyâs eyes. She swallows heavily and looks down at her hands. âYeah, I know.â
âYou know you can always talk to me, Max.â You say softly, wanting desperately to reach out to her. But youâre afraid itâll only drive her further away.
She frowns at you. âLike how you talk to Dustin, or even to Steve?â
Her accusation cuts deeply. You hadnât known that she was paying attention to you. That your disguised âIâm fineâsâ werenât convincing her. Max must know this, because she lowers her eyes again and mumbles a quiet apology.Â
Ms. Kelly notices the tension and leans between the two of you. âDo you think youâre ready to talk more about that night?â
Maxâs eyes gloss over briefly, her face distorts with discomfort. An onslaught of memories overtakes her, just as they overtake you. The echoes of her screams for her brother replay in your mind over and over again. The squelch of Billyâs blood trickles down your spine. You were right next to her when it happened. The blood still stains your clothes from that night at Starcourt.Â
âI live next door to where it happened.â Max changes the subject, her voice returning. When Ms. Kelly asks for more clarification, she continues. âNext to where Chrissy was murdered. The cops asked me a bunch of questions. Did they talk to you?â
The woman sits up, apprehensive. She hadnât been expecting to talk about this. You sit there quietly, head still pounding from earlier as Max takes over. She interrogates Ms. Kelly, who does her best to dodge every question, and suddenly the warmth in the room becomes unbearable.Â
âExcuse me,â you stand up, hand clutching your stomach. Nausea swirls within you. You feel faint, the pounding has increased and sweat trickles down your neck. Both Max and Ms. Kelly look at you in concern, but you ignore them.
Blindly you stumble towards the kitchen you remember seeing when you arrived. Too nauseous and overwhelmed to care about niceties, you dig through Ms. Kellyâs cupboards until you find a cup. After filling it with water, the icey coolness of the liquid settles uneasily in your stomach. You lean over the sink, hands clutching the edge. Everything in your body feels unsteady.
Max comes up the stairs and finds you breathing heavily. âYouâre not going to hurl, are you?â
âTrying really hard not to right now,â you breathe through your nose, out through your mouth. âThanks for the concern.â
No response comes. Instead, footsteps walk up behind you. You hear metal clanking against glass, and when you turn around, you find Max holding up a pair of keys. She smirks, flashing you the white keyring attached to them labeled, âofficeâ.
Your eyes bulge out of your head. âNo, we are not stealingââÂ
Except Max grabs your arm and practically flings you out the front door. She shoves you, urging you to start running towards Steveâs car, and all you can do is stumble over your feet and follow after her. When you make it back to the car, panting from the exertion and thrill, Steve and Dustin turn to you with wide eyes.Â
âWhatâd she say?â Your brother asks, noting your frazzled appearance.Â
âNothing, just drive.â Max dismisses.Â
âI just became a felon.â
The girl rolls her eyes at you. âPersonal property theft isnât a felony.â
âJesus,â Steve does a double take, baffled by this entire conversation. âWhat the hell did you guys do in there?â
âSteve, drive!â Max shouts at him.Â
The tires of the car squeal against the pavement as Steve steps on the gas. He steadies the car, a wild look in his eyes. âWhere are we even going?â
âThe school,â Max holds up the keys she stole.
Dustin looks at her incredulously. âAre thoseââ
âThe keys to Ms. Kellyâs office? Yeah.â You nod grimly. âI told you, Iâm now a felon.â
âOh, donât be so dramaticââ
A voice comes through Cerebro, cutting Max off. âDustin? Itâs Lucas. Do you copy?â
Relief washes over you hearing Lucasâ voice. Between tracking down Eddie and dealing with interrogating school guidance counselors, youâd also been slowly worrying yourself to death over the boy. Itâs unusual for him to be quiet for so long, and with all the murders now occurring⊠Youâd been terrified.Â
âLucas? Where the hell have you been?â Demands Dustin.
âJust listen, are you guys looking for Eddie?â
You and Steve share an uncertain look. Why would Lucas be radioing about him? How much does he know?
Your brother tells Lucas that youâve found Eddie and tells him where he is, that heâs safe. Immediately, the boy responds, âYou guys know he killed Chrissy, right?â
Predictably, Dustin doesnât take this very well. âThatâs bullshit, Eddie tried to save Chrissy.â
Lucas presses further, not believing what heâs hearing. Max snatches the radio from Dustin, tired of all the vague responses. âLucas, youâre so behind itâs ridiculous, okay?â
âTechnically we still havenât elaborated on the whole Eddie thing,â you point out, which she glares at you for.Â
âY/N?â Lucas asks, surprised to hear youâre with them.
You grab the walkie. âHey, howâs your day been?â
âAwful,â he responds bluntly while Steve snorts at your question. âWhy are you guys so sure Eddie didnâtââ
âJust meet us at school. Weâll explain later.â Max instructs, leaning over the carâs console.Â
âI canât,â fear leaks through Lucasâ voice. You sit up now, looking at Steve again. He hears it, too. âI think some real bad shitâs about to go down.â
You feel your heartbeat pick up. âLucas, what does that mean? Are you okay, where are you?â
âSinclair!â A voice shouts, before the radio cuts into static.Â
âLucas? Lucas!â Max shouts into the walkie, but he doesnât respond. She sounds scared, itâs the most emotion youâve heard in her voice in months.
Youâre no better. You sit in the passenger seat, numb. The voice, you recognized it. Youâd know Jason Carverâs voice anywhere. Everything clicks; you remember how Lucas was supposed to go to the party after the basketball game. Chrissy had been Jasonâs girlfriend before she was brutally killed. The cops wouldâve questioned him, they wouldâve told him how her body had been found in Eddieâs trailer.Â
Eddie Munson, the town freak everyone hates.Â
âWhat shit could Lucas get into?â Dustin questions, annoyance twinged with worry for his friend.Â
You try to steady your breathing, nausea returning. You almost donât recognize the sound of your own voice. âItâs Jason. Heâs-heâs angry.â
The words settle in the car, linger in the air, before they crash heavily upon the four of you. The realization dawns on everyone, the inevitability of what will happen next is an unbearable weight.
Steve steps even harder on the gas. He knows the basketball team, how cruel teen boys can be.Â
âÂ
Every time youâve snuck into one of Hawkinsâ schools, itâs never led to anything good. The first two times had been in the middle school for Will. Neither time involved very pleasant memories. This year youâre sneaking into the high school in order to violate your classmatesâ privacy and read their deepest, darkest secrets.
âThis feels wrong,â you huff under your breath, barely keeping up with Steve and the others as they run through the hallway. âIâd hate it if anyone read my file.â
âWould you rather risk anyone else dying?â Max responds, giving you a pointed look.
You frown but donât say anything, figuring sheâs right. As much as you hate to do this, itâs objectively the lesser of two evils. Youâll apologize to the students after this is done. If they question why youâve baked them brownies, youâll simply lie and say you had extra laying around.Â
âDustin, do you copy?â Robinâs voice carries over the radio. Your heart skips a beat hearing her, youâve missed her today. After your brother responds, she starts to explain what she and Nancy found. âSo, Nancyâs a genius.â
âWhat else is new?â You say, and Robin laughs.
âMy thoughts exactly, pretty girl.â She clears her throat. âAnyways, Vecnaâs first victims date back all the way to 1959. Her shot in the dark was a bullâs-eye.â
The new information startles you. Vecna first started killing in 1959? Why didnât you hear anything about it until now, and why didnât El sense him before?
Dustin looks equally unsettled by the news. âOkay, thatâs totally bonkers, but we canât really talk right now.â
âWhat are you doing?â
âBreaking and entering into the school to retrieve confidential and extremely personal files.â
You wince. Itâs as bad as it sounds. Tapping Dustinâs shoulder, you break him away from the walkie. âWait, we wonât need my files, right?â
Steve eyes you up and down, shrugging indifferently. âWellââ Hitting his chest, he sputters at you. âWhy do you keep doing that?â
âYouâre not reading my files, Harrington.â
Meanwhile, Dustin urges Robin and Nancy to meet you guys at the school. By the time their conversation wraps up, Max has unlocked the office door. She heads straight towards the drawers, long familiar with the layout; you follow after her.
Steve and Dustin look around while you and Max dig through the files. They mumble something about Watergate, but you can barely hear them over the rush of blood in your eardrums. Maxâs fingers rest on a specific file. The name printed on it makes you feel sick.
Fred Benson.
âHoly shit,â she exhales, grabbing it.
âFound it?â Dustin stands next to you now, neck peering down.Â
You struggle to breathe. âWe didnât just find Chrissyâs file.â
Dustin tilts his head, he doesnât understand, and Max holds the file up. âFred was seeing Ms. Kelly too.â
Steve and Dustin freeze. You can practically see their heartbeats still. The air in the room goes stale. Their eyes linger on you, they wish they couldnât piece it together. Chrissy and Fred were seeing Ms. Kelly up until their deaths. You and Max have been seeing her, too. Itâs one hell of a coincidence.Â
But thatâs all this is. A horrible, awful coincidence.Â
âY/NâŠâ Steve breathes out, but you shake your head at him.
âPlease,â your lip trembles. Not here, not now. He canât look away from you, but you canât bear to look at him. Instead, you grab the remaining files and hand them to Max. âWe need to go through them. All of them.â
Dustin sits at the desk, Steveâs hand rests on the small of your back as you lean over Max to read the files. He shines a flashlight for the two of you, Chrissyâs file is the first one you read. The image of her once vibrant and alive smile stares back at you. Thereâs a column of writing to the left of her photo, the handwriting is neat, orderly, and it catches your attention.
âAre thoseâŠ?â
âSymptoms.â Max softly answers, eyes skimming down the list.
Past trauma.
Terrible migraines.
Difficulty sleeping.
Headaches.
Maxâs entire body tenses, her muscles pull taut against you. Your own body shakes, the tremors misalign your bones. Slowly, she looks up at you. Her eyes silently beg you to tell her that youâve gotten it all wrong. Maxâs blue eyes plead with you to tell her that none of this is real.
âSteve,â your voice catches, unable to inhale. âCan we see Fredâs file?â
He softly agrees, handing you the file immediately. You take it from him. The paper trembles in your unsteady grasp. Laying them down, you open the file and Fredâs photo burns you. Next to it is a list of symptoms.
Theyâre the same as Chrissyâs.Â
Theyâre the same as yours.Â
The headaches. Sleepless nights. The trauma youâve been through, the nightmares that will never truly go away. Everything youâve experienced within the last week.Â
Nosebleeds is starred, and for a moment your heartbeat settles. You havenât had a nosebleed since you were five. It isnât one of your symptoms; it can all still be a coincidence.
âThis-this canât be right.â You donât know if you say this to reassure Max or yourself, but when you look down at her, you know. She has a far off look in her eyes. She doesnât react to what youâve just said.Â
Itâs only then that you remember her nosebleed from earlier this week; it hadnât been a coincidence.Â
âMax?â You shake her shoulders, tears already in your eyes. You know better than to be so naive, so blindly ignorant. You shouldâve known better. You shouldâve known that something was wrong.
Dustin and Steve try to wake Max, but sheâs already left her body. Sheâs unresponsive, lost in whatever trance sheâs in.Â
âY/N, whatâs happening?â Steve demands, fear in his own voice.
Youâre hysterical, screaming and sobbing for Max to wake up. Her body is so small against yours, sheâs frail and weak and her skin has never looked so translucent. Over and over you shake her, your palms rest against her cheeks and you cry.
Youâve come to know what fear is. How it can blind a person, leave them stricken with such raw anguish. Fear takes whatever air is left inside you and it poisons it with sulfur and leaves you choking.Â
The day Will went missing, the only air left in your body had been blood.Â
When inside the tunnels defending your little brother from monsters, the air in your body had been carbon.Â
Starcourt mall and the fireworks that exploded over Billyâs dangling and bloodied body left only just enough air in your lungs to scream.
But this fear, seeing Max unresponsive to your pleas, this fear doesnât spare you any air.Â
Gasping and choking, youâre a wreck. âMax!â
Faintly you can feel Steveâs hands on you, or maybe theyâre Dustinâs. Someone grabs you, pulls you away, but all you can do is scream.
It all makes sense now, Nancyâs question from earlier rings in your ears. You know why Chrissy and Fred were targeted. Why Ms. Kelly was somehow the center of it all.
The symptoms they experienced prior, the same ones that plague you and Max. You know what it is.
Vencaâs curse.

It was late, you were starting to doze off. You were hoping that Chan meant it when he said five minutes. He had already told both Han and Changbin to go back to the dorm, it was extremely late. Even for them. âChannie how much longerâ You whined failing to hold your head in your hands. He had practiced his part of the song so many times you couldnât keep track. âAlright⊠Iâm ready to record nowâ he nodded with a smile. âHow long is that gonna takeâ You groaned pushing the red button to connect you to the sound booth. âAbout ten minutes⊠then we can go homeâ âPromise?â âNoâ âUghâ You placed your head on the table trying to gather the strength. âOkay to record press the green button on the boardâ.You lifted your head looking at the board in front of you. What Chris failed to mention was just how many green buttons there were on this board. âThis one?â âNo the one on the topâ âThis one?â âTo the leftâ âThis one?â âOkay down oneâ âThis one?â âYup that's the one babyâ He smiled sending you a thumbs up. How could you stay mad at him, he was just so cute.Â
âCutâ You pressed the blue button to stop the recording. âScrap itâ he waved off, running his hands over his face. You turned to the computer, taking the clip he just recorded and deleting it. He was frustrated, and rightfully so, this just wasnât working the way he wanted it to. It was nothing you were doing, but him. He couldnât hit the note like he thought he could. He was coming in too late and cutting off too early. âHoney youâre tired we should get you to bedâ You yawned taking a sip of the energy drink you were sharing with Chan. It wasnât doing its job, because with every sip you were feeling more and more tired. âI knowâ he groaned throwing his head backâ âLet me try one more timeâ He groaned rubbing his face awake. You pressed the record button then pressed the voice button. âYou want more monster?â âYeah let me see if itâll workâ You nodded, grabbing the can and walking over to the booth. You opened the door and handed it to Chan. He reached, but not for the beverage. He took your wrist pulling you closer. Planting a kiss on your lips. âChrisâ You gasped, you almost dropped the drink. The last time someone spilled anything in the booth you didnât hear the end of it from-. âLet's put this down⊠before we get yelled at by Seungmin againâ He whispered, taking the can from your hand and placing it on the side table that was in the booth. He turned back to you, placing a hand on your waist and pushing you against the wall. His plush lips placing butterfly kisses on your jawline, and down to your neck.Â
âChris⊠what if someone hears usâ âItâs soundproof baby⊠we could be as loud as we wantâ He smirked kneeling in front of you. Maybe it was the tiredness talking but you really wanted to test that theory. âWhat if someone seeâs usâ âIts four in the morning honey⊠who in their right minds is going to be here at this timeâ He was right. You really couldnât be as loud as you wanted to in your daily lives. No with the boys constantly at the dorm, and your elderly neighbors complaining about everything you did back in your apartment. He pulled both your sweatpants and underwear down slowly. Taking them completely off and helping your leg onto his shoulder. Oh were you excited for him to hear just how good he made you feel. He kissed up your thigh closer and closer to you sopping pussy. How could you not be horny. Producer Chan was your weakness. You loved the way he spoke when he was in producer mode. So professional, so concentrated, so hot. He placed a single kiss on your clit before he began to suck and swirl his tongue around it.Â
âOh my-â You moaned, grabbing his hair. Hearing your filthy moans turning him on quicker than anything. Heâs been wanting to hear you so badly lately, already getting a little taste after one evening that he got the dorm for himself. He wanted more, he needed more. Â "That noise...keep making it." He encouraged bringing his fingers to your entrance not wasting any time to sink them into you. âOh fuckâ You moaned loudly throwing your head back against the soundproof wall. âFuck CHRISâ. You only ever called him Chris on two separate occasions one, when you were angry with him or wanted him to understand how serious you were about a situation. Two, when you both were having sex and he was making you feel really good. You call him Chan and Channie, all day it wasnât anything special anymore. Someone could say it could be confusing for him when you do it, but it wasnât because it was all in the way you said it. One way you would say it in a stern serious voice in the other- âChrisâ You moaned loudly tightening around his fingers as you felt that all so familiar feeling in your lower stomach.Â
âYou gonna cum baby? You want to cum on daddyâs face?â He groaned roughly on your pussy, you bit you lip and nodded, he couldnât see you. Not with his head buried into your heat, oh but he knew you. âUse your words my pretty girlâ âYesâ You moaned out loudly tugging on his hair to keep him there in between you legs, but really he had no intention of moving. âYes what⊠you wanna cum on daddyâs face and fingersâ âYes yesâ You whined nodding you head. âThen cum for me⊠cum for me babyâ He says, speeding up the rate in which his fingers dove in and out of your pussy, his tongue swirling around and sucking on your clit faster as well. You moaned loudly arching your back off the wall. Not a second later your were cumming on his fingers and face. âFUCK CHRISâ You scream feeling your legs shake subtly, threatening to give in right undereath you. Chris toke note of this and stood up quickly pulling down his pants and boxers. He pulled you closer and grabbed you by your hips picking you up.Â
You wrapped your legs around him and kissed his plump lips. âSo wet for me babyâ He whispered against your lips causing chills to run down your spine. You gasped feeling the tip of his hard cock rub against your clit and entrance. âYou ready for me baby?â He whispered against your lips looking into your eyes hungrily. You bit your lip and nodded. âYesâ You whispered looking down. âGood girlâ He smirked pushing into you, your mouth dropped open and you threw your head back giving him the opportunity to kiss your neck, and he took it. Placing messy kisses on your neck as you stretched around him. He held you still knowing you needed some time to adjust to him. You always did. You bite your lip out of habit. He shook his head looking at you. âNo baby, donât bite your pretty lips, I want to hear you, wanna hear how good Iâm making you feelâÂ
âChrisâ You breathe out moving your hips against him. He knew you were ready, so he pulled out slowly and slid back in. âFuckkkkkkkâ He groans his eyes rolling back in pleasure. âYou feel so good around me baby. So tight babyâ.Â
You wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him closer. âFuck Chris feels so good⊠s-so bigâ You cry out kissing his neck sucking his soft supple skin. âMarking me baby⊠want everyone know iâm yoursâ Chan grunts picking up the pace slamming into you. âYesâ âYes what babyâ âYes⊠youre mineâ âIâm yours baby⊠and your mine⊠my pretty girlâ He whispers his fingers digging into your hips as he fucks into you faster and harder, surely leaving marks to remind you of your sinful actions tomorrow.Â
âAh oh my God CHRISâ You scream tightening around his cock. He groans leaning his head back. âFuck princess you gonna cum⊠you gonna cum for daddyâ âYesâ âCum baby⊠cum around daddyâs fat cockâ âChris FUCK!âÂ
Han sighed a smile on his face, for the first time in a while he slept really well, and all thanks to Chan releasing him early. As soon as he got back to the dorm he skipped his nighttime routine immediately laying in bed. The second his head hit the pillow he knocked out. He was definitely well-rested. Changbin walked in behind him with two coffees in hand. It was just going to be them too for now. Chan asked them to come in an hour before so they could go over the vocals and see if there was anything that needed adjusting. âBin look at thisâ Jisung laughed seeing the length of the audio recorded last night. âHe always does that⊠he always forgets to cut it offâ Changbin laughed sitting down next to him. âLet's get just his part and cut the rest yeah?â Han nodded pushing the play buttonâ âAhh oh my God CHRISâ They both turned to look at each other in shock, it couldnât be. Oh but it was, an audio recording of the two of you having sex. Having sex in the booth everyone had to use. âGrossâ Changbin immediately paused itÂ
âDudeâ Han sighed running his hand over his face. âI know were gonna have to move studios againâ âNot that⊠he didnât record his part⊠heâs not coming in till later, weâre going to be behindâ âThat's what your worried aboutâ âYes⊠I donât want to stay late⊠I value my sleep thank you very muchâ

fly on the wall * fem!driver

warnings: crashing the car
notes: ooooh my god i had to rewrite this 5 times because it wasn't up to my liking initially, and then tumblr was having some issues saving my shit so i lost it?? it's very sad fr
(series masterlist) | (đ the rookie season)
"are you alright?" sebastian's voice comes onto the radio.
his eyes are trained on the big screen, cameras focused on the car parked into the wall out of a turn. he couldn't get an answer out of his driver so he had to resort to the third party.
if his assumptions are correct, she would have hit her head on her seat hard at impact. but things like that can lead to so many bigger things that he might not even be prepared for.Â
her vision slowly returns, blacking out for a mere second as the car went into the barriers of the baku track.
she had issues with her brakes for a few laps. sebastian had suggested retiring the car if she didn't feel safe, but she pressed on. the issue didn't seem so serious and it seemed manageable.
at first.Â
it's a driver error - missing the early braking point to accommodate her already tweaking brakes. she missed it by a millisecond, clipped the wall and got sent straight into the wall.
she sighs, pressing the button on her steering wheel. "i'm okay," she answers shakily, tears now filling her eyes.
"okay, that's the important part. don't think about anything else. i'll see you in the medical centre." sebastian is quick to shut her thoughts down, clearly prioritising her wellbeing and not the car.
"i'm sorry," she sighs, voice shaking and lips quivering. âiâm so sorry, seb.â
this is only her third race in f1, how could she have already crashed out? on a race where she was so close to that podium. it would have been such a monumental moment â a woman on the podium.Â
with 20 laps left in the race and her in 5th place, it wasnât all that far out of reach at the time. yet, here she is causing a yellow flag as she starts to notice the smoke surrounding her.Â
"like i said. don't think about anything else."
she sighs to herself as a marshal appears above her halo, greeting her with a soft smile. she nods, letting herself get helped out of her car.
but only one thought eats away at her: she crashed on her third race. what's everyone going to say about her now?
âlet me talk,â sebastian sighs, hands up in the air as he tries to calm the girl sitting on the examination bed. heâs barely able to get a word in.
sheâs slouched against the wall, purple balaclava in her hands as she traces the thread that holds it together at the hem. the minute he walked in, she looked up immediately with tears in her eyes and a string of apologies.
it hasnât stopped since he poked his head through the door, cutting him off before he could even ask if sheâs okay.Â
âdo you not see the problem?â she shrieks, eyebrows furrowing at sebastian. âi just crashed out! imagine what the media has to say about my performance today? theyâre just going to use this as a reason to justify that i shouldnât be on the track!â
sebastian drops his hands to his side, deciding that heâd just let her get it all off her chest. it might make her feel better.Â
though, it doesnât make him feel good that sheâs continually talking down on herself. he vouched for her for weeks for a reason, and itâs because he believes in her. more than she does in herself, it seems.Â
âi didnât work my ass off my whole life just to be undermined because iâm a woman!â she tosses the balaclava aside, now picking at the loose skin by her fingernails. âi didnât get this far for everyone to count me out because of one crash! can you fucking believe that shit? itâs a fucking rookie mistake, seb! iâve been racing for years!â
she drops her hands by her side and groans again, rolling her eyes. âiâve earned my rightful spot to be where i am! they are not going to care about that!â
sebastian shrugs slightly, overlooked by the infuriated woman across him. he can barely get a breath in before she continues, shutting his mouth immediately as she continues her rampage.Â
âimagine the headlines tomorrow! a driver is as good as their last race â i know that! donât try to sugarcoat it. you know iâm right!â she rambles on, eyes darting all over the room. sheâs pushed herself off the wall slightly, clearly flustered over the course of events.Â
she avoids sebastianâs eyes, the fear of fully breaking down in front of him prominent. crying over a crash seemed like such a silly thing to do, but thereâs no denying how demanding the sport truly is.Â
in her short three races in the season and peopleâs neverending criticism of her abilities, it makes her lie awake at night rethinking her position on the grid.Â
following her crash, sebastian hadnât expected for her to ramble on for this long. he initially thought that the crash would have sent her into a shocking silence, so while her anger is warranted, it was definitely not on his list of things to be ready for.Â
âimagine what they have to say about me!â she throws her hands in the air, scratching her head gently. âimagine what theyâll say about you! itâs not going to be good, trust me! iâm a woman in a fucking racing car in a male-dominated sport!â
âhey!â sebastianâs voice bounces in the room, making her lift her head with her eyes narrowed into a glare.Â
the sudden movement reminds her of her restrictions, hands coming up to nurse the back of her neck. she feels a sharp pain shoot through her head all the way down to her shoulders. âwhat?â she hisses, quickly looking down to hide the pain.Â
âyou literally just crashed head-first into a wall at 250 kilometres per hour! youâre lucky all you got was a concussion and whiplash! it couldâve been worse!â
âif i was lucky, iâd have been able to recover and get on the podium as we discussed! i was already 5th!â
âand you didnât! thatâs okay! you learn from things like these!â
âno, itâs not! iâm already hated as it is!â
âitâs part of the sport! fernando alonso has crashed, lewis has, and so have max and charles! every other big name in formula 1 has had their fair share! youâll be okay!â
she finally meets sebastianâs eyes, slouching even more as she audibly sighs. he watches her body deflate, leaning back dejectedly. âitâs still different.â
sheâs still in her fireproofs. her race suit had to be taken off during her short time with the doctor, hanging on the back of the plastic chair in the small medical room. her helmet sits next to her, underneath the balaclava sheâd thrown on top of it.Â
her hair is in a loose ponytail with stray hairs poking out and resting on her face. the adrenaline has yet to leave her body, chest heaving as if itâd just been over and beads of sweat still scattered all over her.
âi know itâs different. but everyone else who says whatever isnât the person behind the wheel, you have to remember that,â he says in a soothing tone, finally coming up to stand next to her. he sighs, putting a hand on top of her head. âand i know it sucks.â
she shakes her head. âno, you donât. weâre different; our problems are different.â
âthe way they used to hate me, and things they say about you are different, yes,â sebastian nods in a low voice, his thumb now tracing circles on her head. âbut you still can prove them wrong. you just started driving in formula 1 â youâll have way more chances to shut them all up.â
âi couldâve already. if i just controlled the car a little better.â
âitâs okay.â he slides himself onto the examination bed, sitting next to her. he intertwines his fingers and rests his hands on his thigh. âeverybody crashes at one point in their career.
âlet the media say what they want, but not all that criticise you have been in a race before. nobody on that grid thinks youâre lesser than you are just because of what happened today.â
âyou donât know that.â
sebastian just shakes his head, refusing to elaborate any further. he leans back into the wall as well. âoscar is on the way with some snacks for you.â
crashing out during a race is never easy. years before he decided to retire, tapping and crashing out of a race has always been demoralising. it always feels like the first time when he does.
âi donât need snacks. i need to go back to 4 hours ago when i was still on track for a podium finish in the first half of my rookie season.â
âwith your talent, i can assure you that this will not be your only opportunity in formula 1. i will make sure of it, of course. wherever i go, you go.â
the door creaks open, cutting her off before she can throw an answer back as sebastian. âiâve got your favourite snacks. i also stole a couple of twix bars from your backpack, i hope you donât mind.â
âwell, whyâd you take them and still tell me about it knowing i wouldnât even have given it to you in the first place?â she reaches for the nearest object next to her, yanking it towards oscar by the door.Â
âbecause it was calling my name,â he shrugs, pushing the door fully open to reveal who heâs strung along to the medical centre.Â
âi took a packet of haribo,â logan shrugs as he steps in. he flinches when she clenches her fist, scrambling to pull something out of his paper bag. âbut i got you a can of sprite to make up for it! donât be mad!â
her gaze softens when she notices lewis hamilton standing behind her friends, a paper bag hanging on his fingers as he grins at her.Â
âhow are you, sweetie?â his voice is empathetic and low, giving her a look that sheâd seen from everyone sheâs passed on her way here.Â
she sees lewis and sebastian exchange glances, almost making her roll her eyes again.Â
she doesnât talk to lewis that often, but he has addressed her before when she would trail behind sebastian on the track. she would often greet him softly as she hid behind her mentor, or simply excuse herself when she sees either oscar or logan passing by.Â
heâs a role model and the last thing she ever wanted to do was be too overbearing. to see him come to her aid is only a dream come true.Â
âi hope you donât beat yourself up because of that. you drove a brilliant race today,â he smiles. âeverybody crashes out. donât even care what others have to say about you. you did well.â
lewis understands being cast out as a minority. he will never understand the struggles and pressure put on her, but he can at least relate to a certain extent. âdonât even sweat it. youâre now one of the worldâs greatest in a fast race car. youâd smoke anybody who would dare challenge you.â
oscar tilts his head. âwhy would someone random just challenge her out on the street?â
âoscar, shut up,â logan shoves the australian slightly, landing a warning smack on his shoulder after. âlet her have her moment.â
lewis laughs but does wave oscar off as he returns his attention to her. âwhat they say will string, but trust me, this is not the end of the world. i know it feels like it.â
she nods to herself. âokay, hand me the snacks so i can eat away all my pain. i deserve it.â
