saving it for the reps
Pedro Pascal x Actress!Reader
masterlist
The second Pedro pulls into the lot, you both see it.
A small crowd clustered near the front entrance. A couple of TMZ vultures, a few overzealous fans with glossy photos already in hand, and the unmistakable glint of camera lenses trying to look casual behind tinted sunglasses. One guyâs even pacing like heâs rehearsing his lines.
Pedro puts the car in park and sighs quietly through his nose.
You glance at him. âWant to come back later?â
He shakes his head, resting his wrist casually on the steering wheel. âNah. Weâre already here. Letâs just get in, get our reps, and pretend this isnât weird.â
You smile faintly. âYou pretending things arenât weird is one of my favorite things about you.â
He grins, quick and crooked. âIâm a pro at selective delusion.â
You both step out, and the moment your doors close, the energy shifts. Voices pick up. A few phones rise. One TMZ guy immediately starts lobbing questions with a rehearsed brightness that doesnât quite hide the bait underneath.
âPedro, over here! Whatâs your max bench right now?â âIs it true your cardio routine is just running away from commitment?â âWhoâs the spotterâher or you?â
Pedro chuckles, slipping on his sunglasses with one hand and adjusting his hoodie with the other. âIâll leave the commitment talk for my therapist, thanks.â
The guy snorts. âSo she is your girlfriend?â
Youâre still a few feet from the doors when a teenage voice cuts through.
âExcuse meâcan I get a picture with you two? Please?â
You both turn. Itâs a kid. Maybe fifteen, holding out a phone, nervous but polite.
Pedro softens immediately. âAbsolutely, man.â
You step closer, and Pedro crouches slightly to match the kidâs height, even though he doesnât really need to. You smile for the shot, gentle hand on the fanâs shoulder, and hear the shutter go off three times.
âThank you so much,â the boy says breathlessly. âYouâre both awesome.â
Pedro bumps his fist, warm and sincere. âYouâre awesome, hermano. Thanks for saying hi.â
As you straighten up, a couple of people nearby call out your name. One holds out a red carpet photo from a press event six months ago.
âYou were unreal in Everestâs Edge. Will you sign this?â
You nod, a little surprised but grateful. âSure.â
A few more followâjust one or twoâbut you recognize the shift. Youâre not the star, not in the way Pedro is. But they know who you are. They care. And right now, theyâre watching.
Pedroâs already signed a Mandalorian still and a napkin someone shoved at him. He makes a face at it, scribbles anyway. âHope this doesnât end up on eBay,â he jokes. âBut if it does, tell me if it goes for anything good.â
You laugh under your breath, passing back a signed photo. Then, like clockwork, Pedro glances at you, the corners of his mouth pulling in that familiar, quiet cue.
âAlright,â he says gently to the crowd. âWeâve gotta head inâweâre on a time clock.â
He reaches for your hand as he says it, grounding, familiar, warm.
And thatâs when it happens.
âPedro,â the TMZ guy calls, just loud enough to cut through. âAre you two actually dating, or is this just another PR move to keep your name trending?â
Itâs not even subtle.
Pedro stops walking, just for a second. His fingers tighten around yoursâbarely, but enough for you to feel it.
He turns his head, his sunglasses still on, but his smile now faint and unreadable.
âIâm flattered you think Iâm organized enough to plan a PR move,â he says, voice calm, lightly amused. âBut no. Weâre not here to trend. Weâre here to train. Appreciate the interest, though.â
The guy opens his mouth to push further, but Pedroâs already turning again, hand still clasped with yours.
The two of you walk into the gym without looking back.
Inside, once the door clicks shut behind you, Pedro exhales, dragging a hand down his face.
âThat guy always asks the dumbest shit,â he mutters, half to himself.
You glance up at him. âYou handled it like a champ.â
He shrugs one shoulder, a little sheepish. âWell⌠I mean, I wanted to tell him to go fuck himself, but I figured Iâd save it for the deadlifts.â
You laugh, nudging his side. âRemind me to record that.â
Pedro gives you a tired little smile, softer now. âYou good?â
You nod. âI just⌠I really admire how you do that.â
âWhat, smile through being emotionally harassed in public?â
âNo,â you say, reaching for his hand again. âHandle people with grace. Even when they donât deserve it.â
He looks at you for a moment, long enough for the world to fade back again. Then he lifts your hand to his lips and kisses it, right between your knuckles.
âCome on,â he says gently. âLetâs go sweat something out.âAnd you follow him in. Because whatever the world throws at you outside, in here, itâs just you and him again. One set at a time.

either we're past the height of this trend or i've just stopped paying attention but i have limited patience for youtubers who intentionally seek out 'bad' media to respond to or react to but don't have anything cleverer to say than "woah this is soooooo weird and stupid. um? this is so weird!!"
and this is not because i have a deep investment in the narratives they are describing, because most of the time i don't, but because something that is abundantly clear in watching a lot of these is that these works do have extremely consistent inner logics, and a lot of what is 'weird' or 'doesn't make sense' about them is, for example, the work following through on misogynistic logics that we don't usually see reproduced so openly in movies or books. or alternatively, a self-published novel really going for a very specific kink that maybe should affect how you think about covering the material. and neglecting (or refusing?) to see that as a viewer makes your entire response suspect to me! in the sense that like. i am not convinced that you (hypothetical youtuber) have actually put any work or thought into your responses beyond the kneejerk reaction. which is not interesting. and is shallow. and also i find it irritating on a personal level. do you have nothing to say?? are there no connections you can draw here???

are there any indie animated sitcoms? i feel like all the indie cartoons ive seen have some sort of big plot, all action and drama, none that are purely episodic and low-stakes
#i mean im not necessarily looking for shows to watch im just wondering if they exist#and it's an interesting trend if you really think about it#but hey if that's so i'll gladly be the first to make an indie animated sitcom. if no one else gets to it before me#because given the current climate i dont like the idea of making my show under a big corporation. too much risk of meddling from higher-ups#and dont get me wrong im not saying i DONT like these kind of shows. not at all. i very much enjoy the ones ive watched#im literally just making an observation as someone who also happens to really love a good low-stakes comedy

it's been too many years for this to be relevant anymore but i'm STILL pissed off about heather by conan gray getting popular and the meaning being co-opted into "omg that girl is godly levels of beautiful and i'm just too ugly to compete" :( like. the song is about being gay. it is a song being sung by a man about how the person he likes will never like him back because that person likes women. the reason the singer says he's not as beautiful as heather is because he is not attractive to that person specifically because he's not a woman. are you stupid.
#just because conan gray hadn't said the words 'i'm queer' with his mouth at the time doesn't mean the song wasn't gay#he explicity said he doesn't care about labels and has had love interests of multiple genders in his music videos#use some critical thinking skills i beg!!#like i'm not saying it was definitely all straight people or that straight people can't like the song#i'm pissed the song was stripped of it's original meaning and made into another surface level 'let's all say we're ugly' tiktok trend#when it was a really heart-wrenching song about hating yourself for your sexuality#like YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO WANT TO BE HEATHER FOR ANY OTHER REASON. SHE IS NOT A UNIQUELY ASPIRATIONAL FIGURE. SHE'S JUST STRAIGHT.#okay. anyways.#do i post this with tags. or will i get jumped.#conan gray#kid krow#heather conan gray#conan gray heather#tiktok#gay#queer#how to be cringe 101

[Spoilers for Cainâs romance route.]
Never gonna get over how from Cainâs POV he got solidly rejected like (3) times only for Lane to with zero forewarning join him in his shower.
(Pomegranate scene, first aid scene, rooftop.)
It made full sense to me he reacted with shock.
#romance club#heavenâs secret requiem#rc hsr#rc cain#cainlane#never going to stop thinking about it tbh asdfghjkl#hsr spoilers#I read the rooftop scene and the trend was obvious to me and I was like âgirl heâs gonna start thinking you just arenât interested in him!â#like not that I genuinely blamed Lane itâs just the Trend was There#then she walked into his shower and I went âlol of course his jaw dropped. I knew it.â#(the way she pulled away in the first scene and lied about thinking of the Book in the second like#this irresistible angel really thought he was getting turned down by (1) mortal with a poker face. accepted it only for her to make a move.)#(âyou continue to confound my expectationsâ believe me Cain I see you. I know.)

why ambivalent? if u don't mind me asking, I know kevin is a fave of yours so I imagine that's nice?
(one book is a prequel to the og series and the other a book set after jeans final book I believe - in case u didn't know)
I'd guess the prequel shows a lot of kevjean (obvs) & ig the other book will likely be about his relationship with wymack? maybe becoming not an alcoholic? not sure tbh. maybe just more kevjean lol
well tbh after not liking tsc and tgr i'm pretty pessimistic about any potential new books in this series. generally speaking i think it's better to quit while you're ahead with any sort of creative project and in the case of aftg specifically i think nora made some bold but ultimately rewarding decisions in the og trilogy which she's now systematically undoing. one such decision was to end the story right after the final match - i mean they haven't even left the building so no wonder many people deem this ending quite abrupt but i think it works much better than if it had been drawn out to include extended falling action. another such decision was that, despite the fact that kevin seems like he should be the main character of this story, he isn't one - neil is. ik there have existed many drafts and neil didn't become the pov character until quite late in the writing process but i do believe this choice contributed crucially to the story's success. the mismatch between neil being the protagonist but the main villain (riko) being kevin's antagonist is the sort of experimental twist on storytelling structures i love selfpub books for. well now we do have extended falling action in the form of another trilogy and if you read my previous posts about it you know i think it brings nothing to the table. and now that we're going to get some books with kevin as a protag after all i struggle to imagine they might turn out any good either.
bc like,, what are they gonna be about? "kevin becomes not an alcoholic" does not a book make. besides, the way she's writing "jean becomes not brainwashed and traumatized" does not exactly inspire confidence. kevjean is a ship and a non canon one at that. not to sound like all those posts complaining about the tropification of literature but a ship alone does not a book make. the sequel needs a plot to weave kevin's relationships and character development into and idk if nora can (or indeed will want to) come up with one that works and isn't just ohhh nooo it's the mafia again. the prequel will likely end up rehashing a lot of material we're already familiar with - which i was totally fine with when it was done in short story format and later labeled as extra content. but when a good chunk of tsc turned out to be tkm scenes recycled from jean's pov it annoyed me a lot. i can't really pinpoint what the difference is but with the short stories it's really like you're getting these cool additional insights but with several books worth of that it starts feeling bloated like later mcu. is there something new to be said or are we just beating the dead horse?
so yeah kevin is indeed one of my faves and that's exactly the reason i'm concerned. i don't think he needs more books and i don't think he needs to be the main character (or even a pov character - he'll definitely lose a lot of his kevin day mystique if i'm constantly in his head). i really hope i will eat my own words tho bc i did like everything nora has written about the foxes recently so there's that
#aftg ask#aftg mine#book tag#okay extended footnotes in the tags#first of all my hot take is that some characters should remain secondary characters#which goes against everything fandom is built on but i have to speak my truth#and to be clear i don't mean that some characters aren't interesting enough to lead the story#being a protag is a quality independent from how interesting a character is#some have it and some just don't#a good example is captain jack sparrow not being the protag of potc#the moment he becomes one the movies get bad#he embodies what those movies are and yet he shouldn't be the protag or the story doesn't work#secondly my life as a media fan is a constant hell of my fave media getting sequels or spinoffs i consider infinitely subpar#but everyone else thinks are fine or even good and then i have to agree to disagree like an adult and it's the worrrrrst#so i'm getting war flashbacks to all those times#thirdly i've been thinking about this trend of sequels spinoffs remakes etc#which has been discussed at length when it comes to movies and tv shows and basically capitalism is to blame#but i don't think it has been talked about as much in terms of books#like more and more authors seem to be unable to let their stories end or to leave a universe be#holly black returned to elfhame - the new books aren't good#suzanne collins is writing prequels about everyone and everything and while i'm not in that fandom what i hear second hand#doesn't sound like good material either#and i get that these authors want to keep making money from their popular works which is fair#but i can't imagine nora is earning a lot through selfpub? which means she's doing this just for fun#which somehow makes it even more depressing that the new books aren't as good imo#and finally i really REALLY hope there will be no andrew books#if there is one character who SHOULDN'T be a pov character it's andrew#please let us never find out what's inside his head please let some mystery remain in this world#at least give me that nora i'm begging you

as life would have it I started wonderful precure today! watched 4 episodes... thoughts in the tags as per usual, so far it feels very fun and fresh in a way I'm enjoying a lot
#vi rambling#wonderful lb#to start of. i think its very interesting how characterisation preferences evolved over the years in terms of writing#because i think now that im fresh off of heartcatch i can confidently recognize writing trends that shifted which i think is interesting#the characters in wonderful feel very contemporary so its very fun! i love iroha even though i barely really know her bevause something#about her feels fresh and less trope-based as heartcatch was#(not that being trope-based is bad! i just think its interesting to see the shift)#something i really like so far is rhe voice direction. the characters have very distinct and natural voices in a way i enjoy...#irohas voice being on the lower register is really fun (thank you atsumi tanezaki once more-)#i really like komugi.... this series did very well when it comes to translating animal designs to human designs#the transformation sequences are super pretty. generally the animation is fluid and naturalistic which i really like#SATORU.... what a nice addition!! i like that we have an outsider perspective and i think this dynamic is very cute#i am looking at mayu.... ik she'll get slow and careful development and im very excited for that. shes very cute#generally theres something grounded about these 4 episodes in a way i just really like.#a lot of attention to small details (how the animals move and behave) (komugi having her doglike personality that makes it impossible#to forget shes a dog) (the careful characterisation of mayu so far) i like it a lot#i can definitely see why theres such an overlap between pokemon horizons fans and wonderful precure fans#and i mean that in a very very good way because as you all know... i love horizons SO much.#these are my general thoughts for now !!

have decided that I will not be reducing people to their current life phase, relationship status, religious affiliation, age, or any other exterior trapping. you are a person. I care about you. that's basically it. this is how I'm going to see the world from now on.
#making this post for myself#bc i'm fighting the uni trend to label and categorize people based on their chosen major or dorm building or what have you#you're not those things! you're a person! interesting and complex! just like me! and everyone else!#and I am working really hard to go out of my way to talk to people that don't fit the 'mold' of 'who I'm supposed to hang out with'#even though it's very tiring because it means that I'm having to learn a lot about how to communicate with very many different types of peo#people#and also work very hard to Not be concerned about what they think of me#if I come off uncertain or awkward or cold at first#gurt says stuff

feeling nostalgic and watching utube reactors discover classic songs and then feeling both old and incredulous
#1980s music#like someone watching blondie's rapture and then stopping to go 'oh it reminds me of something it's so familiar'#different people (all younger) do this all the time and it can be infuriating#like it's an older song - did it ever occur to you that maybe what you're thinking of ... took inspiration from THIS song????#although in that case it was rather grandmaster flash and the nyc rap scene bc of course that's what the song was referencing#it's the boss baby meme but in music form#and i know i'm guikty of it too but at least in the correct direction - looking back to things that came before#not being aghast that a beat they've heard s thousand times was sampled from an old song that copied an older song lol#i will say that it is SO weird to me that peopke who say they are into hiphop never seem to reference the rap from my youth#like the late 70s and 80s sound that everything after is built on#and it's not like i know a lot about it beyond watching yo mtv raps at night lol#but i had to watch kids struggle to recognize the warren g regulate sample from michael mcdonald#like SO much of the early sampling era was just tons of samples of old records - anything they didn't have to pay for#and then listening to things and going oh this sounds like the weeknd - bro the weekend sounds like 80s songs#he sings and structures the songs in similar ways to classic tracks rather than the current trend (sometimes)#gah i'm just ranting here rather than in some poor utubers comments#i wish i had some fellow old folks to jabber with#but even when i was in high school i didn't have any friends that liked the same kind of music as i did#bts getting me more interested in music and watching videos has really been a double-edged sword sigh#everything with a live studio band with bass in it: 'oh this sounds like disco'#or worse something literally built off a disco sample and it's like they've never heard a disco song other than ymca in their life

Cool.. Our rent price got raised. :') I did not know it was even possible to get even MORE poor than me and mom already were, but here we are. Guess I'll start surviving on literal bread and water at this rate.
#/vent#personal#no but when will things stop getting worse?#in moments like this I feel especially bitter thinking about that asshole that went to me like:#'wahh wahh katy i won enough money in the court to buy everything I want but it doesn't matter because I can't buy YOU uwu'#*ten days later* 'actually I don't want a friend/sister anymore can you please stay in your bum spot and simply be my-#-online friend and listen to me ramble about my interests without any regards to yours and show off how cool my life is to you like always?#like no I am not materialistic but when people make dramatic promises of this kind they better stick to them#'nooo but you MUST get out of russia!!!' bitch how? I can hardly afford enough food let alone travelling and living abroad#anyways yeah I am done using the guy that pretended to want a better life for us both and then turned tail as a core for venting#sorry it just makes me angry#not so much living in powerty and not being able to crawl out of debt and my life state no matter what#but more about a very consistent trend of having friends that one day get RICH and dump me as 'lower class' right after that happens#he is not the only one like that in my life he is just the most recent one#really speaks about how unlikeable I am if people lose interest in me as soon as they can buy happy things instead#shows that my worth as a human being is super low and I only work as entertainment when people can't buy something to do that instead#like videogames food travels objects books etc etc...#I am just below those things and less interesting than those things and I'll die early hahaha lol#hopes are that supernatural luck power that doesn't want me to escape easily will send me something to help. because yeah my situation-#-is B A D.

I swear I started to write out a meta post on Inko in fanfics because it's something that's been plaguing me since last night- but I can't figure out how to word it
#quiet boss#it's just something that stemmed from a conversation in a small group chat#but i don't want to make it seem like i'm attacking anyone in particular because i'm honestly not#but it's an interesting trend that really sounds good on paper provided you don't think too hard about it#but after putting more thought into it you realize it doesn't make sense

everyone always wants to talk about jenny nicholsons video essays and iâm like does ANYONE want to talk about the art of the mattress aka the sleep song. bc it plays in my head every time i see anything about her.
#sleep sleep sleep time to go to sleep now⌠it is night and i need to sleep while it is darkâŚ.#also of course itâll be okay from the wedding episode <3#anyway she blocks me on twitter also. not as scandalous as it seems i just made a vague tweet abt friendship is witchcraft#and presumably got auto blocked#i wasnât even calling her out either i think i was just like. reflecting on how the song from it was trending on tiktok#itâs an understandable reason to block people just. not wanting to engage with that part of her history i get that#this was also before her briny video so she hadnât spoken on it in a long time#brony*#i genuinely like that video a LOT i think she is able to offer a really unique perspective on a lot of brony fandom culture#not just as a big name creator but as a long time fan of older mlp gens#and ofc what she had to say about the use of the g slur in fiw was like. i mean i believe her.#that she and the cocreator had no idea it was a slur and dropped that aspect when they realized it was.#like i didnât know for a long time either. itâs not my place to be like âand that means itâs fine and not a problemâ#and i donât think it IS fine. but certainly everything she said about her intentions seems like. true and honest.#anyway brony stuff aside i hate her for the way sheâs spoken about john boyega. no apologies for THAT huh!!!!#there are some things out there that ppl attribute to her that are fully fake/edited but#ppl will also say âoh she didnât say anything bad about him that was fakeâ no she very much did#but iâve followed her on youtube since she was still actively making fiw like she had a bit with a pony oc that she did for a while#i remember the first star wars video when i was like oh she Is A Reylo#which on its own is like. ew but iâm still interested in her stuff#but you know. she crossed a line i think#and i do still find her stuff INTERESTING#and i am genuinely still fond of fiw though a lot of that is nostalgia#but like she has a lot of interesting stuff to say about mlp and obviously as a theme park fan sheâs inescapable#and it pisses me off that sheâs friends with other creators i DO like but also they know her as a person and i donât#sorry this was gonna be a short post i just canât talk about her a normal amount#i have to explain every thought i have about her#anyway i havenât watched the star wars hotel vid but i probably will eventually#in like an incognito tab#r.txt

this also reflects a difference in values! the boomers acknowledge the inconvenience of the action they're being thanked for and say the other is welcome to this inconvenience. meanwhile the millennial finds it more polite to assert that there was no inconvenience at all.
this is a lot of why younger folks are averse to phone calls, besides them being really scary. a phone call demands the other person put everything else down at a specific time and devote time to you. texts and emails can be responded to at one's leisure.
younger folks are more conscious of causing inconvenience to others and striving to respect their time. "no problem" sounds dismissive to a boomer's ears, disregarding the interaction as not a big deal rather than just accepting the dang gratitude. but it's actually intended as a reassurance: it wasn't a big deal to me, i didn't mind doing it for you. it's no bother, don't even worry about it.
Speaking of linguistics, thereâs one particular linguistic tick that I think clearly separates Baby Boomers from Millennials: how we reply when someone says âthank you.â
You almost never hear a Millennial say âyouâre welcome.â At least not when someone thanks them. It just isnât done. Not because Millenials are ingrates lacking all manners, but because the polite response is âNo problem.â Millennials only use âyouâre welcomeâ sarcastically when they havenât been thanked or when something has been taken from/done to them without their consent. Itâs a phrase thatâs used to point out someone elseâs rudeness. A Millenial would typically be fairly uncomfortable saying âyouâre welcomeâ as an acknowledgement of genuine thanks because the phrase is only ever used disengenuously.
Baby Boomers, however, get really miffed if someone says âno problemâ in response to being thanked. From their perspective, saying âno problemâ means that whatever theyâre thanking someone for was in fact a problem, but the other person did it anyway as a personal favor. To them âYouâre welcomeâ is the standard polite response.
âYouâre welcomeâ means to Millennials what âno problemâ means to Baby Boomers, and vice versa. The two phrases have converse meanings to the different age sets. Iâm not sure exactly where this line gets drawn, but itâs somewhere in the middle of Gen X. This is a real pain in the ass if you work in customer service because everyone thinks that everyone else is being rude when theyâre really being polite in their own language.
#age dynamics#sage speaks#sage replies#people arent rude theyre just polite different etc#i do think the no problem is more gracious when you look at the underlying implications#but im also not gonna be mad at someone saying youre welcome. not least because individuals probably arent thinking about this#so functionally theyre interchangeable expressions of gratitude most of the time#but the trend does reflect cultural attitudes which i think is really interesting#language stuff

I wonder if a really dedicated collection of book nerds could get those Elaine Duillo style cover illustrations a foothold in the publishing industry again. There are certainly enough artists who can achieve that level of intricacy that a really really popular Trend might be able to do it.
Perhaps any of those bookbinding hobbyists might want to try to go pro and pair up with an artist to refurbish something well enough to hook the really rich art snobs into buying unique, custom pieces for a fuckton of money.
#ignore Morg#It would need to be a book that's extremely popular but too new to really be getting special collector's editions#someone *really* fast might be able to pull it off with a copy of Wicked#I don't know the exact legal situation for selling refurbished books but I think at most you'd need a deal with a used bookseller to be saf#Donating some custom pieces to libraries might garner interest as well#I know that there's usually going to be a subset of hobbyists that at least want to try going professional#and I think this would be both really funny and really good for the economy if it worked and became a Thing#because there's nothing the corpos love more than a trend#and pulling any of them away from the race to the bottom is a very good thing#if nothing else putting artists in a more favorable position will get circulation up and that's the thing that's really good#because the same money is then benefiting many more people#Like. I am a biologist not an economist but I know enough about the subject to understand#that the people cooking the metaphorical pizza are doing a bad job.#It tastes wrong. And different methods are necessary to make a better one.#social issues#kind of#It's clear that social progress going forward is likely going to rely on convincing people who know fuckall about politics#with arguments about the economy. which would likely be best accomplished by pushing circulation HARD as a metric#and using the income of artists as a measure of economic health. Because the fuckalls are only going to listen to the mystical *economyyyyy#Like a fucking oracle or something#So pushing circulation as an easy-to-understand concept and doing it harder than the conservatives do the ''trickle down'' shtick#is probably the best move in general#Hell the argument even flows well with surface logic -#- do you just want a trickle getting through or do you want the whole system circulating? Make it a metaphor about meemaw's heart#I am fucking rambling in the tags but as bad as I am at actually talking to people I am pretty good at picking approaches through writing#So if anyone more persuasive than me wants to start working that angle I would be THRILLED

Hey! I had a question for any non-USAmericans. If you guys didn't know, I'm from the US (though I did spend four years of my childhood in a different country), and the general narrative for children in the US is that America is a very powerful/influential country. I was thinking about this, and wondering how true it really is, because of course this is the narrative my own country told me. Are we really all that influential?
So, my question is, for any non-USAmericans, what's your perception of how powerful the US is? How much do the actions of the US or trends within the US really affect your lives? I'd appreciate any response!
#irl stuff#I'm interested especially because you see all those posts on here about propaganda#how much is my perception of the US's power propaganda?#I just realized I really don't know the extent of US influence#got me thinking#idk what I've been told is that the US is super influential in terms of international laws/agreements (stuff like the UN and NATO)#and in terms of economics and trade#and in terms of trends (US fashion and tastes affecting the rest of the word)#But how much of an affect is there really?#From what I've learned in history classes#it does seem like the US really likes to get involved with everything#Idk#Non-USAmericans: How powerful is the US#Any response would be appreciated!#I'm trying really hard to ask this politely#So lmk if anything I said is offensive or anything#Thanks guys#And have a good day!#:)
