The first time you and Karasu Tabito met was when you transferred to his school. Not that he was really interested in the new classmate, while the rest of the students in his class were very excited to meet you. But as soon as he saw you, Tabito was intrigued. Bye, bye, Marisa-chan, there is a new Queen of this school. Anyway, you looked very cool, not to mention that your hobbies, including football, chess and drawing made you even more attractive. Cool, smart and strong girl, you were an embodiment of Karasu's ideal type! Not that he immediately fell in love or something like this, but Tabito became interested in you, observing you very subtle and enjoying learning more details about you. Well, or so he thought because even Hiori noticed that he's interested in you.

Hiori: Karasu-kun, yer starin'. Again. Karasu: Ya imagined it.

Hiori was kinda proud of himself that he found the reason to tease Karasu by himself. We are proud of you too, Yo-chan, but he was so obvious, even an elementary schooler could notice. It took a long time for Tabito to approach you. Not because he was too shy, he just struggled with self-image. Not to mention that he was very busy with football, so he wasn't sure if he deserved to be with you or not. And thinking about this, Tabito realized that he had a crush on you. It would be very difficult to deny something that is so obvious. The two of you got closer finally during the school sport festival. Tabito has never believed in destiny, but he changed his mind when you two were paired up for three-legged race, which meant the two of you had to practice together, being very close to each other. Even though Tabito was very excited, he didn't show this, pretending to be cool and chill as always. So far, he has been successful in achieving this aim. The two of you bonded over football and your goals, so you started hanging out together after your practice. And the more Tabito learned about you, the more he feel for you. His signs of attention were very subtle, he teased you in his manner, flirted with you sometimes, testing the water, and was absolutely the best gentleman, always made you feel special to him. But his cool behavior was breaking down every time you made some little acts of kindness towards him. It wasn't really obvious but he blushed a little every time you bought him his favorite drink and gave it to him with the prettiest smile. Tabito confessed you after the sport festival. There was a rumor at your school about the sport festival. If a guy and a girl were in the same team and join the competition, and if they win. Apparently that pair would become a happy couple. Of course, Karasu thought that it sounds lame. But when the two of you actually won, his common sense has left. It seems to him that there were too many coincidences since the day you two were paired up. "I like ya. Please, go out with me", said Tabito, doing his best to maintain a cooler expression.

• You and Tabito are a great match! Your personalities are similar, but not identical, that complements each other perfectly. Tabito is more sober-minded and helps you to calm down whenever you need it. You're more confident and cheer him up whenever Tabito feels himself mediocre. But well, when you met his Blue Lock friends, he doubted it. Of course, he was sure that you wouldn't be interested in Otoya or any other Blue Lock player, but the way some of them Otoya and Aiku, ahem flirted with you playfully just to make him jealous annoyed Tabito more than he thought.

• Otoya has a bump on his head now, and Blue Lock boys know that Karasu is terrible in his anger. But can they blame him? You're his amazing girlfriend he loves and protects a lot, after all~

Me and the family got to talking about this over dinner last night and I want to bring up some more examples of "Childhood movies are actually really fucked up and dark"

Ya'll remember Tarzan? That wholesome movie about a mother gorilla taking in an orphaned child it found in the jungle?? You guys remember how in the first ten minutes a baby gorilla was picked off by a jaguar and then we saw Tarzan's dead parents??

You remember how Clayton died from falling from a tree and got strung up by the vines and snapped his neck?? Cuz I didn't! A part of me is grateful child me didn't clock how DARK this death was, I just assumed he fell and hit the ground, nope, got hung by vines. Super great childhood movie

My mothers point: Anyone grow up watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? The magical, whimsical movie of a car that comes to life and takes it family on an adventure?? Remeber how that same movie had a villain literally called "The child catcher" Does this one even NEED explaining for how utterly fucked this villain is?? Another point from my parents, Sleeping beauty: a classic fairy-tale of a princess being woken up by true loves kiss by prince charming. Apparently - take this one with a grain of salt because I actually don't know if this one is true, though honestly I wouldn't be shocked given how Disney is - but allegedly, there is now a censorship warning at the start of this movie because there is "Non-consensual kiss". I assume this appears if you watch it on a streaming service? I tried to check but the movie isn't on Netflix

I don't actually think they've put a warning at the start of the movie, but even so - if I may add my opinion - uhm, this is horse shit?? It's a FAIRYTALE?? I'm going to say this as simply as I can: It's not REAL. A women isn't one day going to cursed by an evil witch, prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel, and fall into a death like sleep.

100% teach kids about consent, absolutely....BUT, now I'm no parent BUT, is a make believe fairy-tale scenario really the best example of how consent works??

Felt like this got really serious out of nowhere but the point my parents where trying to make here was that the warning about the kiss of all things seemed...odd, considering what happens in the rest of the movie. Being an evil witch and putting a curse on an innocent child from birth? A-okay, cuz we know that'll never happen. But non-consensually kissing a women who was put into a sleep like death and trapped in a castle by an evil witch?? Nu-uh we're gunna have to draw the line in the sand there

This last point isn't really related to anything above but I was picking up paint a few days ago, and I saw a Mufasa the movie book in the shop. A book. Of the movie. They literally took the poster image of cub Mufasa and his grown up reflection and put it on a book. Disney is REALLY trying to make money of this thing still

Haven is a lot of things. An effective communicator isn't one.

This is very much intended to be Taran retelling the story of the time this happened to someone else, given the eight-thousand anachronisms and the level of comfort Taran has in talking to Haven. It's so specifically anachronistic in such a specific "I'm telling you a story and I don't want you to get bogged down in the inconvenient details" way that it got me to write 6000 words (and counting) of a stupid wip so I could justify this existing.

Bonus notes: Haven is specifically pretending to be asleep because he doesn't want to talk about the mess in the kitchen. Taran isn't remotely annoyed about that but he would like for next time Haven to come downstairs and say hi instead of putting on a shirt and then pretending to be asleep again.

I wanted to do a big piece before the month ended and I had been thinking on drawing a study of "The Nobleman with his Hand on his Chest" by El Greco with Slayer for a good while, because I adore that painting and believe it fits him, since it has a mysterious yet noble aura to me. Very dandy!

I love Slayer's Rev2 Color 4, so I got really happy when it returned as Color 10 in Strive, now with a very stylish nail polish, too.
