but men at 57 will write books about how 17 year old girls are soooo sexy. they will invent worlds where women have to be naked for "armor reasons." they will write songs that treat women as objects. people rush to defend them. meanwhile a woman at 35 will be like "heartbreak is hard, actually" or "i feel betrayed by a friend" or "i am struggling with something emotionally." immediately people will say stuff like this woman is 35 by the way. by the way this woman is SO OLD to be experiencing this. BY THE WAY.

im 31, almost 32. the other day a poet was blasted online because at her "big age", she had written a poem about feeling unloved. top comment was "this woman is 29 by the way." this woman is too old to still be useful, by the way. she has to behave better . maybe if she was a good wife and mother she could stop existing loudly, and the story could continue on without her. this woman has served her purpose, by the way. she's so cringe, by the way. at 29 - so old! - she still hasn't figured out that her existence should be one of shame.

im already way past it in this playthrough obv, but the option to ask gorim to hold you while you are imprisoned in the aeducan origin actually feels a little evil to me (in a good way). because it's such a sweet/sad moment between them where he tells the warden that they'll see each other again, she just has to survive, she just has to find duncan and they'll find each other again on the surface-

and then your warden lives, finds gorim, and the man has moved on so quick that he's married with a baby on the way and he's established himself as a merchant in denerim. like ok so what was that for then

okay so i just want to say something - regardless of whether it was consensual or non-consensual, i personally do not want to financially support 60+ year old men who sleep (even consensually) with 20-year-olds. i love good omens so much. i really do. but this idea that men can just use young women for sex and somehow that's considered a totally normal component of male sexuality is fucked up. this problem is so rampant among male artists in particular as they often use being "in love with their work" and "needing a muse" as an excuse to exploit and neglect the women in their life. this is a problem that must be tackled by putting your money where your mouth is. don't stream go3 on amazon.

okay idk how many of y'all also like murderbot but im sure there's at least a few of you. apple tv is doing a series with alexander skarsgård executive producing and starring. and i am very excited to see a TV show adaptation, i think it could be so good. im gonna tell my dad to watch it. at the same time, i am genuinely sad murderbot is going to be played by a white man. literally ANYBODY could have been murderbot. truly actually anybody. and im not surprised in the least, but i am disappointed. and like. if the Very Clearly Not White characters get whitewashed, im going to be FURIOUS. i really do hope it's going to be good but im braced for less than good.
