I'm so deeply curious about what happened to Branch after his grandma got eaten; b/c there's no way he had to live by himself afterwards but there is 0 mention in any of the movies of anyone helping him and if no one took him in afterward then them wondering why he's so sad all the time is even worse

Apparently when my younger brother was just born my mom found him napping with his blanket fully covering him, and she pulled back the sheet (worried he couldn't breathe or something) to find him fully awake staring at her. It scared the shit out of her and she still talks about it to this day lmao
