It was finally the time everyone had been waiting for. It was time for the names to go live. There was a sense of nervousness in the air, several students looking towards each other, wondering who their match was going to be. The Head of the Department of Mass Communication made her way towards the stage with a mic in hand. "I'm sure you all are excited for the grand reveal?" she questioned as cheers erupted in the venue. "Before we get on with that, I would like to call someone to the stage. You see, without this person, you would not have this reveal tonight. So please put your hands together for Ms. Y/n L/n, the person who came up with this idea," the HoD said as she passed the mic to Y/n.
"Ahh, I was not expecting this at all," Y/n said as she let out a nervous laugh. "I don't even know where to begin. I am so glad for my friends, who had to deal with me during this; I know it wasn't easy, and I really appreciate you guys for being there for me," Y/n said while looking at Alex, Dylan, Daniel, and Pierre.
"The truth is that none of this would have been possible without a certain someone's help. You see, I had no idea how to get the form up and running, and that is when my dear friend Daniel told me about this guy who can help. Let's just say the ride from that hadn't been the easiest at first, I'll admit, but over time it had become the best part of this entire project," Y/n said, smiling at the memories of her and Oscar.
"But of course life doesn't always go your way, and I messed things up with him. So what I'm trying to say here is that, if you end up finding someone through this, I hope you hold onto that person. I hope you love them and cherish them the best you can. So enjoy your night, because the results are out," Y/n said as she got off the stage.
The entire hall was filled with excitement as people pulled out their phones to see who they got. Y/n made her way towards her group when she saw him standing in the middle of the dancefloor amongst the chaos.
"Oscar?" she said as she made her way towards him.
"Did you mean that?" he questioned.
"What?" she said.
"Did you mean what you just said up there?" Oscar asked again, with a sense of urgency in his voice.
"i-um" "Yes, I did, Oscar," Y/n finally said after overcoming the surprise of seeing him there.
"I'm sorry I left yesterday. I just did not know what to say to you at that moment. God had I known that you felt the same, why would I have don-," Y/n was cut off by Oscar grabbing her face and kissing her.
"God! Why do you always have to talk so much?" Oscar asked before he leaned in again.
Y/n could hear hooting in the distance, and as she pulled away from Oscar, she turned to find the source of this being their friends, watching everything that had just happened.
Clearing his throat, Oscar said, "They're never gonna let this go, are they?" "Oh yeah, be prepared," Y/n said, shaking her head, and the two joined the dancefloor.
"Fair warning, don't let Dylan intimidate you; he likes to give the dad talk to the guys I'm dating," Y/n said, cringing at the memory of said 'dad talks' that Dylan was so fond of.
"So we're dating then?" Oscar questioned, looking at Y/n, who looked a little flustered.
"I can leave if you'd like," Y/n said as she pulled away from him.
"Oh, hush you," Oscar said, pulling her even closer than before, slowly swaying the song that was playing in the background.

Misunderstandings
Tumblr media
@dira333: what about a meet ugly with Daichi or Kita? A meet ugly is about meeting someone in a less than fortunate way but somehow you still fall in love?
You had just finished a long, exhausting work week and wanted to treat yourself to something nice. Hence, a slightly fancy dinner alone. You let out a content sigh, sipping your drink. The ambience of the restaurant was impeccable, the lighting was soft enough for patrons to relax, and the music blended into the soft chatter in the background. You were still waiting for your meal, but the breadsticks in this place made for a good distraction. You hum and break off another piece. Don't mind if I do.
Suddenly, an athletic-looking man sits down across from you. He gives you an apologetic look and says, “I’m so sorry I’m late. Work ran a bit long, and I got here as fast as I could. The hostess said you weren’t waiting long, though.” He continues explaining his tardiness, but—who the hell is this guy!? Your eyes widen at his sudden appearance, almost choking on your precious bite of breadstick. You cover your mouth and start coughing, while he looks a bit flustered.
“Are you okay? I didn’t mean to startle you.”
You shake your head and gesture that you're fine. You catch your breath and finally take a good look at him, and you quite like what you see. He has dark, short hair that suits his face nicely. His shoulders are quite broad, and you can tell he has some muscle on him. More importantly, he has warm, brown eyes that seem to stare right through you.
You take a deep breath and finally say, “I’m sorry, but who—” when a very angry-looking woman storms over. Just when you thought your eyes couldn't get any wider.
“Who the hell do you think you are?! Flirting with someone else, standing me up on our date? I can't believe you, Daichi! Koushi said you were a total catch! Ugh!”
You break your gaze away from the fired-up woman and steal a glance at who you guess is Daichi, and see his jaw is practically on the floor. He sputters and is stuck between looking at you and her, before she stomps her way out of the restaurant.
You two are silent for a moment, registering the chaos that just erupted at your table. Out of the corner of your eye, you can spot several groups of fellow diners whispering about what just happened, and you honestly wish you could disappear.
You sigh and meet his eyes. “Daichi, right?” He nods grimly. “I’m almost certain you can tell by now I wasn’t your date. I was going to tell you but I was pretty confused and couldn't find a good time to, and then, well…” You grimace at the thought of getting yelled at by his date.
“I am so sorry.” He lets out a deep sigh and runs a hand through his hair. “To be honest, I don’t do this kind of thing- dating, I mean. My friend said he’d found a good match, and the way he described her, well I thought- I thought it was you.” He lets out a nervous cough.
You blink and think about his words. “What.. do you mean?” His face blushes and his gaze focuses on a corner in the room.
“He, um, said that my date was very beautiful. That she was very approachable, and funny. I heard all that, and then the hostess said my date was waiting back here, and I saw you. I thought ‘This must be her.’” You watch his face as he goes on, and all you see is sincerity. Your face burns due to the flattery coming from him right now.
“I… wow.” Is all you manage to get out.
“Once again, I'm sorry. I'll leave you to your dinner.” He pushes his chair out and moves to stand but you can hardly stop yourself from grasping his arm.
“Wait!” His eyes widen slightly and he looks at you expectantly. You chew on your lip nervously and say, “I feel a little responsible for ruining your date. It's the least I could do to have dinner with you. If you would want to, that is.”
He gives you a comforting smile and softly says, “I’d love that.”
note: this was so fun to write, thx so much for the requests. I hope it lives up to your expectations :)

the 'evil imposter' just wants to be a baker!
Prologue: The Foodie turned Imposter?!
Part 8: Buttery Mamon
[ part 7 ] || [ masterlist ] || [ part 9 ]
I keep forgetting to add trigger warnings uhhh: one scene has you panicing and nearly falling into an anxious mess, ptsd of course and the general sagau obsession with the creator.
divider is made by @/saradika-graphics
Tumblr media
While Kaeya was finishing the last of the skewers you were busy near the stove, using the stocked ingredients in the panty when Kaeya reassured you it was fine, that he'd handle it and just hoped you'd make it worth his while.
Rolling your eyes at his teasing, you knew he meant it when he said that he'll take the brunt if Adelinde or Diluc came to scold them or rather her, for using the ingredients in the kitchen.
A simple snack was what you preferred, something light that would contrast to the meaty skewers that Kaeya had provided for the both of you. You were craving something sweet and soft, so you decided on a pastry. Though you initially thought of something cold, like ice cream or sorbet or maybe pudding, you don't think they have any ice here unless you wished to go to Mondstadt, Kaeya had a cryo vision but it would be rude to ask him to make you some ice during your first meeting.
So some fluffy mamoms would have to do, and you could probably top it with some cheese or a bit more powdered sugar. And he could share it with the other workers as a light treat.
Kaeya watched as you quickly gathered the ingredients, and skillfully start. It was apparent that you were very experienced in cooking from the way you easily cracked the eggs without worry, and how you beat them with a whisk.
To think that you were the supposed imposter, instead of brewing chaos or using the fact that you look like the creator to your advantage, you were here, hiding your identity, talking about food with him.
It wasn't hard to notice, despite you well crafted lie of a background, he could see through it. He noticed the bandages on one of your arm, and peeking out of it was something purple, no doubt Scars from Lisa's electro fueled attacks. Then there was your mask, though you didn't take it off while you ate, you didn't noticed how the mask would flap around due to the wind, luckily letting him take a glimpse of your face.
It was uncanny how you mirrored the old statues of their Divine Creator. Had he been obsessed with pleasing the great God like Jean and Lisa were, he'd have easily killed you on the spot, labelling you as an imposter. But he wasn't like them. Although he respected the Great Creator, the origin of all, he wasn't blinded by such faith.
Perhaps there was a chance you were just a regular person caught up in a bad time in the wrong place.
Because as rarely as it happens, it does happen.
Hopefully he could convince the others about that, maybe with the Travelers help.
"How long will that take?" he asked as you popped whatever you were making in the oven. "Usually half an our, but since I'm using a less advanced oven I'm not sure. I'll have to watch it so it doesn't burn." You explained, wiping your hands with a rag.
He nodded in understanding, the smell of eggs and something buttery was filing the room, no doubt it was appetizing and enticing when even Adelinde curiously checked in on them.
"Oh Master Kaeya, you're still here. I would have thought you'd have scurry off somewhere like usual." She said with a smile, Adelinde was always smiling though, huh?"
"Ah I just had to stay for [Name]'s dish, what was it again?"
You shrugged, "It's simply some mamon, it's like a chiffon cake. And there should be enough for everybody." You added, facing Adelinde who chuckled, embarrassed of having been caught eying the baking pastry.
"That is very sweet of you, Thank you [name]." The blonde haired maid said and turned to Kaeya once again. The duo left the kitchen, holding a conversation that was no doubt confidential that someone like her, an outsider, shouldn't hear.
The smile on your face slowly disappeared, replaced with a calculating frown. "Kaeya probably knows I'm the person the other knights are looking for." You said to yourself, eyes casting down towards the mamon which were slowly rising up.
"I don't think he'll attack me unless I give him a reason." you interacting with him was like a gamble, you were easing your way in, waiting for a chance to ask, what did he think about this great creator?
There was a part of you expecting him to give a passive response or an answer that danced around your question. Because you knew of his lineage, you wondered how do the people of khaenri'ah view the creator, for they are the nation without a God.
Of course just when you were about to ask him the question you had carefully thought about, he was whisked away by Adelinde. Perhaps it was a sign for her to leave, that she shouldn't ask less she gave herself away.
You were preparing the glaze for the mamon, which was simply melted butter as well as the jar of honey and powdered sugar in case they wanted to top the chiffon bread with something a bit more sweeter.
Suddenly the door had burst open as Kaeya quickly grabbed her shoulders, the charismatic mask he had worn had slipped off for a moment, now replaced with something urgent. Your eyes widened in fear, as you felt your hands shake, was he going to kill you?
"You need to be extra careful, not only are the knights looking for you but the fatui delegates are as well." He told you which shocked you, was the reach of this so called great creator truly so magnificent to even make its way to Shezhnaya, a region you thought who was only devoted to the Tsaritsa?
He knew as well, Kaeya knew who you were- you pushed him away, backing until you hit the counter. "Don't" you practically pleaded "Don't hurt me!"
"I won't" he said, "I'm sorry I suddenly grabbed you" he quickly added realizing his mistake "but you need to listen to me. Jean wants you dead, as well as Amber, and Lisa and the other knights. They are convinced you are the imposter. And Jean is desperate enough to accept the Fatui's help."
"You understand what that means right?"
It just got more difficult, you felt yourself fall to the floor, your chest felt painfully suffocating. He cursed under his breath, mentally berating himself for losing his tact, his cool level-headedness as he crouched down.
"[Name]" he called out softly, stretching out his hand "I need you to calm down okay? can you do that? You need to breathe."
His voice fell on deaf ears, you covered your face with your hands, murmuring pleads of mercy, even if the pain was gone, even if the samachurl helped heal you, you still felt it, that electrocuting pain that traveled your body, it made you freeze, and cry, feeling so helpless as instead of being in the kitchen, it felt like you were in Jean's office.
The cold metal that touched your neck,
their uncaring eyes, and deaf ears that turned away from your cries and fears. .
the electro, the lightning that-
"You know, how about when all of this is just over, I treat you to some food."
". . . . ."
Your mutterings had stopped, as you tried so hard, straining your ears to just focus on Kaeya's voice. Ignoring Jean's and Lisa's who spat such poisonous words at you.
"Have you tried the moon pies here?" he asked, noticing your attention was slowly coming back as you broke free from the cage that was that night. Your small voice could be heard "I. . I don't really like meat pies."
Kaeya fought a grin "and here I thought you were a foodie." You pouted, rubbing your face, "meat pies are weird for me, I like apple pies more." you commented with a deep breath, your heart was still racing, and despite not being able to truly break away from that night, Kaeya's eye that stared into your soul told you that you'd be just fine.
"It'll be okay." he said quietly.
"Hopefully." you pitifully said and he corrected you,
"Definitely."
You and Kaeya heard the door open and close, and a rush of footsteps followed by Adelinde's loud greeting. "Master Diluc, you're home early!"
"Shit." Was the only thing you and Kaeya said, staring at the door and then at each other. You would be screwed if Diluc of all people had found you after all!
꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦
Diluc raised a brow at Adelinde, she was usually on the less. . vocal side in her greetings. From the way she fidget and avoided making eye contact it meant that the maid was hiding something from him, which wasn't out of common.
Usually Adelinde, bless her heart, tried to help fix the relationship between him and Kaeya. Often that meant orchestrating surprises or uncanny coincidences where in the two would bump into each other and have to deal with something suspiciously or well, clearly crafted by the maid.
The red headed male sighed "Where's Kaeya?"
Adelinde sweated profusely, perhaps it was better to hide from Diluc to and claim later that she had been busy, curse her for being a bad liar. Usually she was better than this but because of the current situation, there was a whole lot of pressure.
"He-"
"Diluc!" Kaeya had strolled out of the kitchens, wine glass in hand as he nodded at Adelinde who sighed in relief. Perhaps by now the look-alike was gone, 'poor girl, to think she's being hunted down by her face' she couldn't help but sigh at the situation, eying the two brothers. They didn't usually agree with each other, but maybe, maybe they'll agree on this.
"Kaeya, what are you doing here? as far as I know Jean had ordered all Knights to focus on the search for the Imposter." Diluc crossed his arms, giving the other male a look. "Oh please Diluc, do you really support their decision about this whole. ." he trailed off, acting as if he was trying to find the right words "witch hunt?"
The red hair was silent at his question, and Kaeya couldn't help but let a grin fall on his mouth, of course Diluc would object to this. He was just as righteous at their dad. . no Mr. Crepus was. "Does it matter? as much as a witch hunt is. . overkill. I understand Jean's sentiments that an imposter running around in Monstadt is a grave sign."
"Are you willing to risk the chance of harming or even killing an innocent person, or worse, the real creator then?" Kaeya asked, swirling the contents of his wine glass, watching the blood colored liquid to move like a whirlpool. Silence was the only answer he got.
"Why are you vouching for this imposter?" Diluc asked, eyes narrowing "Have you met them?"
"Perhaps, perhaps not."
Knowing he wouldn't get a clear answer from him, not with his skill of dancing around with his words and controlling his body languages, Diluc resorted to turning to Adelinde who flinched.
"Adelinde."
"Yes, Master Diluc?"
Adelinde tried her best to smile at Diluc as if she was unaware of what he was talking about. If the situation wasn't dire, Kaeya would have laughed at her failed attempt to appear innocent.
"Did the imposter came here?"
"My Master Diluc, I don't know about any Imposter." She said. Diluc sighed, and decided to investigate, he headed straight towards the kitchen, the same place Kaeya had left in a hurry. From his peripheral Vision he could see the cavalry captain hold the wine glass tighter.
He swung the door open, ignoring Adelinde's calls. The kitchen door and window was left open, it was warm inside, suggesting the oven had been used. The smell of butter filled his nose and he turned his gaze to the table finding something akin to small cakes shaped like tarts.
Hurried footsteps followed after, a sigh of relief left Kaeya's mouth. "What did you do?" Diluc immediately responded with frustration, turning to the cryo wielder with a heated gaze, hand gripping Kaeya's shirt.
"I merely let an innocent victim go. Don't you know the saying? innocent until proven guilty." Kaeya easily responded turning to Adelinde who clearly looked worried that the two might fight. "Adelinde, thank your for your assistance, I'm sorry you had to lie. Why don't you leave me and Diluc to talk things out."
"but. ."
"Please Adelinde." Diluc added, despite his frustrations, his face softened as he turned to the maid who nodded, lips trembling due to the conflicting emotions.
". . ."
"If you wish to risk your life for someone, then so be it." Diluc sighed letting go of his collar. A hand combing through his flaming red locks. "So what have you gathered about this person?"
"They're certainly have the face of the creator, that I will confess however" Kaeya approached the table, setting down the wine glass as his eyes glanced at the chiffon cake, "mamon" her voice lingered in his mind. "she's no imposter, she didn't intentionally deceive anyone. Besides, is it a person's fault for the face they are born with?"
"That would be like blaming a person for the crimes of their parents. . or blaming a person for their heritage. ."
". . ."
Diluc looked tired, his usual mask of indifference had disappeared as he took a seat. "I take it the meeting with Jean was. . less than favorable?"
"I suppose that would be the correct word to describe it." he admitted, Jean had been acting weird, it wasn't just her. Lisa, the usual lazy or too relaxed librarian was rather energetic in her plans to find, catch and kill the imposter. Amber as well was leading the knights to searching the region. "I think she's trying to compensate for not being favored by the Creator." Kaeya offhandedly mentioned, quickly raising his hands however at his brother's penetrative glare.
Kaeya gulped but continued on, "Listen, there's no use letting our personal relationships cloud our judgement. You know how Jean has been when the creator has manifested in her but never truly favored her."
It was hard to deduce when it started, their memories had begun to feel clouded, controlled, and rewritten. Numerous vision users in Mondstadt had felt an awaken, briefly being covered with a golden light, their bodies controlled by someone powerful, a being they would come to realized as the Divine Creator who had awoken from their long slumber, ready to guide the people.
Their favor came in many forms, often or really, it was only the vision holders did the Creator cast their gaze on. The first to be awakened was Amber, followed by Lisa and Kaeya and from then it branched on from Bennett, to Noelle, to Razor and more. Diluc himself had been one of the few to not experience this awakening, but he wasn't bothered by it or at least if he was, he was good at hiding it to the point that Kaeya wasn't entirely sure of how he felt with not being experiencing the Creator's control.
Jean had also been awakened, however unlike the others who felt the Creator's favor and guidance in forms of weapons and artifacts, she didn't experience or receive anything. It was like the Creator casted her gaze on the acting grandmaster only for a moment, and decided that she was not worth any effort.
Nobody outright commented on it, the civilians of course were not aware. The only reason why Diluc knew despite not being in the knights of Favonius was because the blonde haired knight drunkenly confessed her feelings of doubts. Seemed that the pressure of being the acting grand master, the Stormterror problem and the neglect from the Divine Creator had made the woman he once respected spiral down in a pit of self-destruction.
"Here, have some." Noticing how sad or at least worried Diluc was becoming, Kaeya took one of the mamoms and force-fed Diluc. "Omph-" The man glared at the cavalry captain who shrugged, slapping his hand away Diluc bit into the chiffon break cake and instantly melted at the buttery goodness.
It was very soft and warm, a hint of sweetness and definitely butter. "This is. . good. Who made this?"
"The so called imposter." To his credit, Diluc didn't spit it out. It was too late anyways. So he begrudgingly continued to eat it, despite assuming there might be something bad in it.
"I hate you."
Kaeya rolled his eyes at his brother's reactions, "Diluc it's not poisoned. I was watching her the entire time she made them!"
Tumblr media
I always wondered how Khaenri'ah played with the sagau elements considering they are canonically the nation without a God. So for now, they would no doubt respect the great Creator who is seen as the origin of everything, but since they managed well without a God, perhaps they aren't as obsessed as the other acolytes. That's why its interesting for me to write Kaeya's pov about the creator. But since he grew up with the Ragnvindr, a family who no doubt respected and paid tribute to the Creator, he'd probably have more respect to the Creator than most Khaenri'ans.

⤜MASTERLIST
CHAN:
In the crowded room of a bustling party, you find yourself feeling completely overwhelmed. You'd agreed to come to the party with your boyfriend who knew everyone and you were now alone in the corner. You felt so unwanted and you began to pick at your fingers, trying to blend into the background but the room felt so suffocating to be in. The noise of the music was deafening and only added to the torment going on in your mind.
From across the room, Chan spotted you in distress instantly, he'd been trying to get back to you for a while now but his friends were talking his ear off but seeing you so anxious he just walked away from them.
"Hey, you're okay, I got you," Chan whispered as he wrapped his arms around you, your whole body turning into his embrace and buried your face in his chest.
"I'm sorry," You hated yourself for ruining tonight for him
"Don't be, let's go outside for some air," He suggested as he started to walk with you, tears running down your cheek as he rubbed small circles into your back.
Once you were outside and away from the chaos of the party you finally felt as though you could breathe again.
"You can go back in...I'll catch a cab home or something," You mumbled but Chan pulled you tighter against him, rubbing soothing circles into your back,
"We'll go home together, you're anxious and I want to be here for you," He told you as he kept you close to him. The overwhelming anxiety began to ebb away and was replaced by a feeling of calm and security.
MINHO:
"Hey jitterbug," Minho teased watched you, the two of you were having a date in a cafe only you hadn't known it was going to be this busy when you agreed to come. Now you were so anxious that you were drumming your fingers on the table as well as your leg bouncing.
"What's got you so wound up?" He teased, reaching across to poke your hand gently, you smiled a little at him.
"Just anxious I guess," You mumbled. You hadn't gone into much detail with Minho about your anxiety, you were nervous about it since many people had called you dramatic in the past or had made fun of you for it.
"Relax, it's just some coffee. Nothing to be nervous about, I promise." He said but as he studied you more closely he began to notice the tension in your shoulders and the way you picked at your sleeve, the teasing grin he had once been wearing suddenly wiped from his face.
"Are you okay?" His voice was softer now and laced with genuine worry.
"I'm trying to be, but...I-It's just-" You didn't even have to finish your sentence before Minho was sitting beside you and wrapping his arm around you.
"I'm sorry...I didn't realise," He knew anxiety when he saw it, his best friend struggled with it too.
"You don't have to hide it from me. I'm here for you, no matter what." Tears welled up in your eyes as you stared at him, no one had ever been there for you like this and you were so grateful to have someone who accepted it.
"Thanks, I'm sorry I'm so fidgety, I just...I can't seem to calm myself down." You admitted, Minho squeezed you softly giving you a reassuring smile.
"Then allow me to help, okay?" You nodded at him, watching as he began to take in some deep breaths, making you copy him.
"It's just me and you right now, and if anyone else comes along I'll fight," He winks at you and you giggle a little through your deep breathing.
"You're allowed to feel anxious, so long as you know I'm here to support you through it, okay?" He waited for you to nod before he continued breathing with you, getting you to focus on him or things outside of the window instead of what was happening in the cafe.
The longer you sat there you felt a weight lifting from your shoulders as you relaxed into Minhos' embrace, knowing that with him by your side you could do anything.
CHANGBIN:
Your fingers twisted in your lap as you glanced around nervously, staring at all of the different passengers on the plane who didn't seem fazed by the turbulence the plane was experiencing.
"Yn," Changbin whispered, his hand reaching out to yours. You forced a tight smile onto your lips as you focused on looking out of the window. You hadn't mentioned it to him before but you were extremely nervous about planes. But they set off your anxiety more than anything else.
"We're okay. It's just a bit of wind," He promised as he turned your head to look at him, squeezing your hand reassuringly and offering you a comforting smile.
"It's alright to be anxious but as long as you know you're not alone in it." He smiled bringing your hand up to his lips and kissing your knuckles.
"I'm right here beside you." He told you as he smiled, Changbin was your little glimmer of hope that everything was okay. You always thought that with him you could do anything.
"You're doing great, just focus on your breathing and remember I'm here with you," He whispered in your ear, your eyes shutting as you tried to focus on breathing and the way his hand felt in yours.
As the flight continued Changbin never left your side, offering you constant comfort and support, even distracting you with stories and jokes, doing everything in his power to ease your anxiety just that little bit more until the plane finally touched down.
"I couldn't have done that without you," You breathed out as you finally got into the airport, his arms wrapping around you tightly as he promised to do that for you whenever you needed it.
HYUNJIN:
You were sat in one of the fanciest restaurants you'd ever been in, at an elegant dinner table with Hyunjin's parents and you couldn't stop your leg from bouncing up and down, a clear sign that your anxiety was getting the better of you. Hyunjin waited until his parents were talking among themselves before he turned his full attention to you, he placed his hand on your knee giving it a small squeeze.
"Is this all too much?" He whispered, he knew you'd been anxious about the dinner but you promised him you'd be okay. Now all he wanted to do was take you home and comfort you all night.
"I'm sorry...I-I just- I feel anxious," You admitted, your stomach twisted as you looked at him. Without hesitating he leaned closer to you, holding your hands in his.
"You're doing great, okay? Just take some deep breaths with me," You nodded, your shoulders sagging a little with relief from his words. You took in some deep and steady breaths at the same time as Hyunjin and he smiled gently applying a steady pressure to your leg to calm your nerves. Hyunjin's parents glanced over at you both,
"Yn, Hyunjin, we're both so happy you're here. Let's relax and enjoy the evening." His mother suggested, Hyunjin had briefly mentioned your anxiety to her and they wanted you to have a nice evening.
Hyunjin's attention was still on you as he whispered words of encouragement, silently letting you know he was there for you now and always.
As the night grew on, your fidgeting gradually subsided, replaced with a sense of calm and happiness as you got to know your boyfriend's family more.
JISUNG:
Jisung watched you as you nervously tapped your foot on the floor, bounced your leg up and down and even started to pick at your clothes. The two of you were sitting in your living room together trying to unwind from the day but he could clearly see your anxiety was playing up.
"You anxiety acting up, again?" He asked gently, reaching out and gently rubbing your back. You nodded, your eyes downcast as you bit on your lip.
"It's been a rough day and I can't seem to calm down." You admitted before Jisung gently squeezed your shoulder got up from the couch and disappeared into the kitchen, returning a few minutes later with a bag.
"I am prepared this time," He smirked, a hint of excitement in his voice as he dropped down beside you on the bed. You took the bag he was holding out to you and peeked inside, your mouth turning up into a small smile.
"You did this?" You smiled looking at him before looking back into the bag. It was an assortment of fidget toys, stress balls, a spinner ring, a textured cube and so many more things,
"I figured they'd be better to fidget with," He smiled seeing you so happy about everything, he'd been looking online for the best toys and collected them all for you.
"Thank you," You sniffled a little, taking out one of the stress balls and squeezing it tightly in your hand,
"You always know how to take care of me," Your voice broke a little and Jisung pulled you into a gentle hug,
"I love you, and I'll do anything I can to support you." He smiled as the two of you sat there in the comfort of your living room while you explored all of your new fidget toys.
FELIX:
Felix poured you a cup of tea and then watched you closely. The two of you were at your favourite cafe together and it had been a while since the two of you had gone out which was why Felix had planned this. But he knew there was something bothering you, you'd been overly cautious of everything that morning and even now, your eyes were darting around the room as if you were looking for an escape and he instantly knew what was going on. You were nervously picking at the skin around your fingers, your brows furrowed together,
"Yn, you're okay," He whispered. Your fingers froze mid-motion and you forced a smile onto your face,
"I-I'm fine, just a little anxious." You admitted, Felix shuffled to be on the seat beside you, gently covering your hand with his own.
"You don't have to hide it from me, Yn. I know you're struggling but I'm right here," He whispered to you, tears welling up in your eyes as you stared at him. Everyone in the past has merely teased you for fidgeting a lot or made rude comments about it.
"I-It's just, my anxiety...it gets the better of me sometimes and I can't stop picking at my fingers," Felix's heart ached at the sight of your distress, he knew your struggles and all he wanted to do was help you.
"We're in this together, we're okay." He promised you, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you close to him.
"We're at our favourite place, drinking our favourite drinks and relaxing." He smiled at you, your head resting on his shoulder as you felt your heart rate slowing down. Felix took in some deep breaths with you and you slowly felt the tightness in your chest gradually loosen.
"Thanks, Lix," You whispered, but he shook his head at you, he didn't need you to thank him for doing something he wanted to do.
"I love you, Yn, and I'll always be here to hold your hand, no matter what." He told you before you kissed him softly.
SEUNGMIN:
This was supposed to be a casual night in with friends and yet you found yourself fidgeting beside your boyfriend, your fingers drumming nervously on your thigh and then adjusting the sleeves of your sweating.
"You can't ever sit still, can you?" Felix meant it as a joke but the way his tone came out it sounded as though he was annoyed at you. Seungmin's eyes dated to his friend as he felt a surge of anger rising in him. He took in a deep breath trying to keep his composure, shooting Felix a warning glare.
"It's okay," Seungmin whispers to you as he places his hand over yours carefully and rubs your skin softly.
"You're safe here and Felix was just teasing, you know how he is." He whispered to you, Felix's face flushed a little as he realised what was happening and he instantly wanted to kick himself.
"Yn, I'm so sorry."
"It's not as if Felix doesn't have weird habits," Chan chimed in with a smirk,
"We all have our quirks, nothing wrong with that." Seungmin finished as he wrapped his arm around you, cuddling into you tightly.
"I've got you," He reassured you, your shoulders relaxing a little as you felt a little of your anxiety lift ever so slightly. For the rest of the evening, Seungmin kept a close eye on you, watching for any signs of fidgeting so he could take you home if it got too bad.
JEONGIN:
Jeongin watched you closely, you were fidgeting with the hem of your shirt, your fingers twisted the fabric in small, nervous movements. The two of you had gone out for a small walk together and were taking a break on the park bench.
"Hey, baby, is everything alright?" His voice was laced with concern as he stared at you. You looked at him, your eyes quickly darting around before finally meeting his gaze. You smiled a little but he knew it wasn't a real smile.
"Fine...Just feeling a little anxious I guess," You hated that you were feeling so anxious, you'd gone on this walk a million times with Jeongin but there was something about today that made you a little more anxious than usual.
Jeongin nodded, moving closer to you and wrapping his arm around your shoulders, he knew about your struggle with anxiety and he wasn't going to let you go through this alone.
"You know you can talk to me, right? Whatever Is bothering you, I'm here for you." You leaned into his embrace, your hands stilling as you relaxed against him.
"Everything feels overwhelming right now, I can't even keep up with my own thoughts," You mumbled, and Jeongin tightened his grasp around you.
"I get it. But remember, you don't have to face it alone. I'm here to help you carry the weight, even if it's just by listening to you." You smiled up at him, a small sigh leaving your lips as you relaxed against him.
"I don't know what I'd do without you." You snuggled into him and with each passing moment your breathing steadied and your anxiety loosened its grip on you.

Birds of a feather
Tumblr media
Warnings: minor SPOILERS from BNHA's ending, mentions of blood loss, major characters death
Genre: Angst Series: Boku No Hero Academia
Words' count: 1.27k Pairing: Takami Keigo × GN! Y/N
Tumblr media
"I said I love you, don't act so surprised now!" you spat again, a blushing mess but keeping your head high watching the pro-hero Hawks go silent.
"Woah you broke him" Mirko—your soul friend—joked as she entered Hawks' office right when you confessed, staying for the chaos to ensue.
"You thought that all those times I said it it was a joke? Well, they weren't, so... do whatever you want with that now."
As you were about to leave for good, Keigo grabbed delicately your wrist, keeping you in your place—without further delay, with his other hand he cupped your cheek and kissed you on the lips.
It was hesitant and soft—so unlikely of him. Nonetheless, your stomach churned and your breathing stopped against your will, realizing his feelings for you.
Then a snap of a photograph was heard and you broke the kiss to look at Mirko. "Oh my god, this is going to be yall's wallpaper now."
"You're so full of shit, how'd you think I liked Endevour?!" you laughed in Keigo's face, the latter suddenly feeling even more embarrassed after all the events that have unfolded after he kissed you.
"I just thought it ok? You were always searching for a mission to go on with us and spoke mostly with him that I didn't think about it at all... just, felt sad about it," he pouted, carressing his cheek with his scarred hand awkwardly.
"Pfff well well, it's always been you, alright? It's just that I always got nervous around you..."
"How is it that you always manage to make me feel the most beautiful person in the world when you compliment me?" A genuine question you've come to ask yourself everyday when watching yourself in the mirror and remembering Takami's sweet words.
"Darling, what can I say, I'm such a charmer ain't I?" he teased—side hugging you and giving you a kiss on the cheek—making you blush for the uptenth time in the day.
His phone ringed.
He picked it up and his smile vanished, letting you know it was some work matter.
"Aww I wanted you to stay..." you whined, "I know chirp, I also wanted to but they say it's an urgent meeting with the boss".
"It's okay, be careful Kei".
"Kei! Keigo! Please wake up..." you begged carelessly at his hospital bed posterior to receiving a call from work yourself that let you know that Hawks had almost not made it out alive from his recent fight.
"Keigo, I love you, please... I don't wanna say goodbye, what happened to you? Ugh, I'm-I'm sorry, I.... really want you to wake up," you blabbered as tears poured out your eyes.
"Hey chirp," he barely managed to speak with a raspy voice, slowly dragging a hand to sit it at the top of your head.
"Keigo! Hey, how are you feeling?" he smiled weakly, "I've been better, thanks."
"Oh Keigo, I'm so sorry," "why are you apologizing? I'll get better, I promise".
"....I love you 'til the day that I die." You finished your vows with that.
Takami wore an appealing black suit and a smitten smile on the day of your wedding—being the happiest man on earth for getting to be your partner for the rest of your lives.
"We'll stay together...." he started his vows with—the rest will forever remain in the records that were taken of your special day.
"I'd like to raise a toast for my now pretty husband," "you're saying I wasn't pretty before?!" he feigned shock. "Yeah, that," you smirked playfully.
"Well this is to Takami Keigo—the man I've come to know for a good couple of years now and somehow stole my heart—I-I don't know what I'm crying for but-I don't think I could love you more, I'll love you 'til the light leaves my eyes." You stated glancing intently, with watery eyes towards Keigo, who stood wide-eyed but recovered with a lovely smile while everyone cheered in the background.
"Pro-hero Hawks, we've got an emergency regarding your partner's health." Were the first words he was greeted with when he picked up the phone after reading out 'Heroes Public Safety Commission' as the one calling.
He dropped the pan he was holding along the food he was cooking for when you arrived home. "What is it?!" He blurted out, picking right away his rushed and preoccupied tone to do not let his worriness be that obvious, as well as his jacket to sprint out of your shared home.
"They're currently in an encounter with the female villain named Himiko Toga—and as we're monitouring their vitals—we just saw things have escalated pretty far as they're about to die from the lack of blood." He took a moment to process everything. Himiko Toga? The one who seemed to get along with Bubaigawara? 'No, that can't be possible.'
"Get them out of the field now!" Keigo ordered or more like begged, terrible scenarios coming to his mind where he got his karma back.
But the Comission wouldn't be calling if they got everything under control... 'no, no no, this can't be happening.'
"We've tried our best to get more colleagues with them to no avail—there's more than ten villains in there right now." The monotone voice explained.
"Send me their location, now." He demanded, unbearable sensations traveling all the way from his wings to his heart and mind.
'Oh Kei, if only you could see how you look to me... you wouldn't have believed the compliments I threw your way when we were just colleagues.'
Your mind kept thinking that, as memories with your husband Takami replayed from the very start as you laid on the ground with a stab on your side and many deep cuts all around your body.
Until you felt your body taking in your last breath.
'How funny is it to not mind your breathing ever in your life until you know you're on your lasts?'
"To the microphone i'mmy suit—whoever's hearing'rig'now—tell Kei I said I'd never think I wasn't better alone." You spoke finally, slurred words giving away your condition after finishing with them.
Keigo had arrived late.
'How is it that I got to wake up but not you?!' was his first thought when getting to the bloody mess everything was left as after the fight.
"Y/n, I'm so sorry I couldn't be here with you." He grieved.
"I guess this means you don't love me anymore..." With that—the all-pink chapter ended and began a dark all-well-known, lonely era for the hero Hawks once more.
Years later, with Hawks retirement from the hero life and beginning of his work as the new Heroes Public Safety Commission's director, he noticed he's gotten slightly more time free as he so wished to for all heroes as his essencial mission as a hero himself.
He went to visit your grave—once a week he'd bring a new bouquet of your favorite flowers and once a month he'd clean it thoroughly.
And after so long, he saw a pair of eyes he never expected to ever again.
They were a replica of you—same hair, same eyes, hell he could swear you smelled the same—but he knew you weren't here anymore, because he knows that if you were—you'd be by his side.
'I knew you in another life'
'You had the same look in your eyes'
So with a heavy heart, he went back to your shared house and recited to himself your first official love confession;
'I love you, don't act so surprised'

Prompt idea: 🐉🤫
Hybrid Behavior Doctor JK v. Husky female. Husky female has behavior problems as she was abused for years and then dumped off by her owner. She doesn't like being touched and wants to be left alone. JK is a behavior specialist for hybrids so he is tasked with taking her home and trying to rehab her for adoption. He has his hands full. She destroys his furniture, scratches his door frames, doesn't clean up after herself, and leaves junk food wrappers and bags all over his house because she doesn't want to eat proper food. But he knows that what she's looking for is attention and she's acting badly to get it. So when he ignores her, it bugs her and she seeks him out. Eventually she becomes used to him, and she lets him touch her a few times. Feelings slowly grow between them. When it's time for her to be put up for adoption, he doesn't want her to leave him and he asks if she wants to stay. She agrees and he asks her on a date.
I originally pictured smut for the ending, but now that I've reached the end of my description, it kind of doesn't need it. I'll leave it up to you and how the story writes itself. If it goes in a more flirty, sexy manner, you can put the smut in at the end. If it goes more friendly to new love where it's way too early for them to have sex, then you can leave the smut out.

(hybrid+smut) part of the prompt game pairing: hybrid behaviour doctor!Jungkook x husky hybrid!female reader genre: hybrid!AU, S2L, fluff warnings: bratty reader, understanding JK, allusion to abuse, fluff word count: 1.308
a/n: I went with the 'more friendly to new love' theme, hope that's alright 💕
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Jungkook’s a professional, a hybrid behaviour specialist to be exact, so why does he get frustrated?
He’s spent years working with hybrids of all kinds, from jittery squirrels to brooding panthers, and he’s always been able to handle them. He prides himself on his calm, patient approach.
But you?
You’re on a whole different level.
From the moment he brought you into his home, it’s been absolute chaos. You’re a husky hybrid, all sharp fangs and attitude, with a permanent scowl etched onto your face. You don’t trust him, don’t trust anyone, really, and that’s understandable, considering your background.
Your last owner didn’t just neglect you; they left you broken. Abused, abandoned, and dumped off like you were nothing. It makes Jungkook’s blood boil every time he thinks about it. He knows it’s going to take time to get through to you, but he’s never met anyone so determined to make that process as difficult as possible.
You refuse to let him touch you. You destroy his sofa cushions like it’s a personal mission. You’ve scratched deep gouges into his doorframes, chewed on the corner of his coffee table, and left wrappers and empty crisp packets scattered across every available surface.
“Messy,” he mutters to himself, picking up a half-crushed bag of crisps from under the sofa.
You’re perched in the kitchen doorway, arms crossed and tail swishing in irritation as you watch him. “Maybe if your food wasn’t so boring, I wouldn’t have to eat crisps for dinner.”
“My food isn’t boring,” he counters, tossing the bag into the bin. “It’s healthy.”
“Healthy’s boring,” you shoot back, smirking like you’ve just won some kind of argument.
He sighs. He knows this is part of the act. You’re defiant because it gives you control, you make a mess because you want to provoke him. He’s seen it before in other hybrids who’ve been mistreated, it’s your way of testing him, of seeing if he’ll snap.
But he won’t, ever.
“Suit yourself,” he mutters, brushing past you to grab his laptop off the counter. He makes a note about your eating habits, not that they’re habits, really. More like disasters waiting to happen at this point.
You narrow your eyes at him. “You’re not going to tell me off?”
“Nope.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re looking for attention,” he says casually, not even glancing up.
Your ears twitch, and he knows he’s hit a nerve. “I’m not,” you grumble.
“Sure you’re not,” he replies, biting back a smile. He knows ignoring you drives you mad, but it’s all part of the plan. If he reacts to your antics, it’ll only reinforce them. If he doesn’t… well, eventually, you’ll come to him on your own.
It’s already starting to work.
You storm off in a huff, probably to destroy something else, but Jungkook doesn’t follow. He knows you’ll be back.
And you are.
Later that evening, you poke your head into his office, pretending you’re just passing by. Your ears are pinned back slightly, a telltale sign that you’re unsure, and Jungkook hides a smirk behind his laptop.
“Need something?” he asks, keeping his tone as natural as possible.
You shrug, leaning against the doorframe. “What are you working on?”
“Notes,” he states simply.
You frown, clearly expecting more of a reaction. “Notes about me?”
“Maybe.”
“Am I doing that badly?”
He glances up at you then. “You’re not doing badly,” he admits, and he means every word. “You’re just… figuring things out.”
You huff again, but you don’t leave. Instead, you wander further into the room, pretending to examine the books on his shelf. Jungkook knows better than to push you, so he lets you roam in silence.
After a while, you plop down on the floor right beside him, your tail curling around your legs. “I don’t like it here,” you mutter.
He raises an eyebrow. “Why not?”
“It’s too quiet,” you pick at a loose threat on the carpet. “And you’re boring.”
Jungkook bites back a laugh. “Boring, am I?”
“Yeah.” You glance up at him, your eyes unusually serious. “But… I don’t hate it as much as I thought I would.”
It’s the closest thing to a compliment you’ve ever given him, and Jungkook feels a small beam of hope. Maybe he’s starting to get through to you.
🐕
The weeks pass, and slowly, things begin to change.
You still have your moments, like when you chewed through one of his shoelaces because he refused to let you eat biscuits for breakfast, but they’re less frequent. You’ve stopped trashing the place quite so often, and sometimes, you even sit with him on the sofa without scowling the whole time.
You let him brush your tail once, and though you complained the entire time, Jungkook could tell you didn’t truly hate it.
And then there are the smaller moments that mean so much more. The way you hover in the kitchen while he cooks, pretending you’re not interested in what he’s making. The way you roam in his office, curling up on the floor like you just want to be near someone. The way you’ve started calling him by his name instead of “Doctor Boring”.
It’s these moments that make Jungkook realise something’s finally shifted, not just in you, but in him, too.
Because, he doesn’t want you to leave.
It hits him square in the face one evening as he’s watching you sprawl across the sofa, your legs dangling off the back and your ears twitching as you flick through the channels. The thought of you going to a new home, with someone else, feels incredibly wrong to him.
The day he’s supposed to start your adoption process, Jungkook can’t focus. You’re in the kitchen, rummaging through the cupboards for God-knows-what, and he’s sitting at the table with his laptop, staring at the blank application form.
“You’re quiet,” you observe, glancing over your shoulder. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” he lies, though it’s in vain.
You narrow your eyes at him, and he knows he’s been caught. You’re sharper than you let on, and it’s one of the things he’s come to admire about you.
“Spit it out.”
He takes a deep breath, deciding to just go for it. “I was supposed to start your adoption paperwork today.”
Your ears perk up slightly, but you don’t say anything.
“And I realised…” He hesitates, his heart pounding out of his mouth. “I don’t want you to go.”
Your cock your brows at that, nearly touching your hairline, and for a moment, you just stare at him. “What are you saying?”
“I’m saying…” He stands up, crossing the room until he’s standing in front of you. “I want you to stay. Here. With me.”
You blink up at him. “Are you serious?”
“Completely, but only if you want to.”
There’s a long pause, and then, to his relief, you smile. It’s small and shy, but it’s unmistakable.
“I want to,” you nod softly.
Jungkook’s chest feels like it’s going to burst. “Good. Because I was really hoping you’d say that.”
You look away, but there’s a warmth in your eyes he’s never seen before.
“So, what now?” you ask with big eyes, turning and tilting your head.
“Now…” He hesitates, suddenly feeling like a nervous teenager. “Now I ask you on a date.”
“A date?” You giggle.
“Yeah,I mean, if we’re going to live together, we might as well see if we can survive a dinner out.”
You pretend to think about it, your tail swishing behind you. “Alright. But only if I get to pick the restaurant.”
“Deal.”
Before he can second-guess himself, Jungkook leans down and presses a soft, tentative kiss to your forehead. It’s brief, but the way you look up at him afterwards, ears twitching and cheeks flushed, tells him everything he needs to know.
You’re home.

Echoes of Insanity Ch.1
Shadows From the Past and Crystals of Chaos
Two sisters, bound by blood and trauma, descend into madness. Forced to rely on each other to survive, twins Powder and Ash are tormented by their shared past. As the line between sisterly love and obsession blurs, they stand on the edge of self-destruction. Can they break the cycle, or are they destined to be consumed by the darkness within?
jinx (powder) x twin sister
This is the first fanfic I ever write and English is not my first language so bear with me.
I don't have an specific path for this fic so if you have an idea just leave it in the comments and ill put it into consideration.
Tumblr media
past-
Powder and I hold tightly to our older sister's hands, one of us on each side of her. As we walk across the bridge, we both sing softly
"Dear friend across the river..." Ashes falling from the sky in pieces. "My hands are cold and bare... dear friend across the river, I'll take what you can spare."
The distant sound of fire echoes in the background.
"I ask for you a penny, my fortune it will be. I ask you without envy— we raise no mighty towers, our homes are built of stone."
we cover our eyes, just as our sister told us to, shielding us from the sight of the bodies lying around.
"So come across the river and find..."
Our singing fades as our sister suddenly stops. wanting to know why I'm the first uncover my eyes followed by powder, looking up at her. I glance downward and freeze, startled by the sight of all the bodies. My grip tightens around my older sister's hand.
Nearby, we hear the sound of fighting. A man is battling, breathing heavily after taking down a enforcer. The man looks back at us, before Vi steps forward, pulling us behind her, shielding us as the man approaches. My heart races, but as he gets closer, we recognize him.
I watch as our older sister frantically scans the area. The man, understanding what she’s searching for, he tilts his head to the left.
There, I see them Mama and Papa, lying on the ground. Clinging to my sister’s arm, I look up at her face. It scrunches, and tears begin to fall. She collapses to her knees, crying out in agony, her sobs filling the air.
Not fully understanding what has happened but desperate to comfort her, we wrap our arms around her, hugging her tightly, trying to make her feel better.
The man carries Powder and me as we sleep, exhausted from everything that happened. Vi walks beside him, clutching his jacket between her fingers. She glances back, watching the enforcers leave, and her grip tightens around Vander's jacket, her expression shifting from sadness to pure anger seeing all the destruction around her.
-------------
present-
"We're almost there," Vi says, looking down at us.
"Aw, man..." I hear Mylo whine.
Vi reaches the top of the building and looks around. I’m just behind Powder as she climbs up and reaches the top, I see her hand reach out to help me. She pulls me up onto the roof.
i let a small thanks
"Hey, Powder, Ash, come take a look," Vi calls.
We walk over to her, standing beside her and gazing out at the view of Piltover.
"Whoa..." I hear Powder whisper.
"It's nice, getting above it all, huh?" Vi says, looking out over the city. Mylo and Claggor join us, standing behind.
Suddenly, an airship flies over our heads. Powder and I watch it, mesmerized.
"One day, we're gonna ride on one of those," Powder says with determination, hugging my arm and smiling at me. And I smile back at her.
"And one day, I'm gonna shoot one of 'em down," Mylo adds, pointing at the airship, mimicking a gun with his fingers as he pretends to shoot at it. Vi quickly swats his arm.
"Vi, are you sure about this?" Claggor asks, looking down at the houses. "Look, if we get caught, we're—" he starts, but Vi cuts him off.
"We're not gonna get caught," Vi replies, her voice full of determination.
Vi leads the way across the rooftops, and we all follow behind her.
"We’ll be in and out before anyone notices." Vi replies.
Birds chirp as they fly by, and we gather at the edge of the roof, looking down.
"All right, everybody, follow me... Just don’t look down," Vi says. Then, she jumps, sliding down the side of the roof before swinging across to the balcony and then jumping to the building in front. She looks back at us from the other side.
Mylo cracks his knuckles and goes next, who clumsily follows Vi’s path, followed by Claggor. They both make it to the other building, claggor landing beside Mylo, who is now munching on a stolen cupcake he found resting on the balcony.
"Couldn't we have just walked there?" Claggor asks, finishing the stolen cupcake.
"Gotta stay out of sight for this one," Vi says, lifting her gaze toward Powder and me, as we still standing on the rooftop of the other building.
Powder looks down, terrified, her breathing growing heavier.
"Called it. This one's on you, Vi," Mylo says, glancing over at us as we stay in our place frozen.
"I'll get them—" Claggor sighs, starting to move.
"No," Vi interrupts. "Powder, ash, look at me. What did I tell you?"
"That... we're ready," Powder replies, her voice trembling but determined as she glances over at me.
"It's okay, Powder, I-I'll go first," I say with a nervous tone.
with that I slide over the roof side and juping into the balcony railing I look down seeing how high is and I my hold in the railing tightens.
"it's okay, Ash. you just need to jump" vi says giving me enough courage to finally jump. I close my eyes, opening them only when I feel solid ground beneath me, i smile in relief and I look back at powder, who's now looking at me.
"see? Ash did it." Vi says to powder reasuring her, and waits for her next move.
With that, Powder steps to the edge and slides down the rooftop, letting out a small scream as she jumps to the balcony railing.
"Phew," Powder exhales, relieved.
She walks along the edge of the balcony, preparing to jump to the next building. But as she land, she loses her balance. I rush to grab her arm, and so does Vi. Together, we pull her back up.
"Thanks," Powder says with a shaky sigh.
I hold onto her arm, my heart still pounding like crazy after watching my sister almost fall.
We follow Vi as she starts walking, passing Mylo, who shakes his head at us disapprovingly.
"What if Vander finds out we're all the way up here?" Claggor asks, nervous.
"Look around you," Vi replies, glancing back at him. "You think anyone topside is going hungry? Besides, this is exactly the kind of job Vander would've pulled when he was our age."
"I'm going. Are you with me or not?" Vi asks, her determination clear.
Mylo shrugs, and Claggor sighs. "Vander's gonna kill us."
"Yeah, only if we screw up," Vi says, looking at all of us. "So don't screw up."
Vi drops down onto a balcony, peering into the workshop to make sure it’s clear.
"All clear," she says once she’s sure no one’s inside.
Mylo is the second to drop onto the balcony. He checks the door, finding it locked. "Who locks their balcony?" he grumbles, kneeling to pick the lock.
I’m the third to drop down, followed by Powder and Claggor.
"Whew, there are tons of enforcers down there," Claggor says, glancing over the balcony to the street below.
"Means we’re in the right place," Vi replies with a grin.
"You gonna get that door open anytime soon?" Vi asks Mylo.
"Working on it," Mylo replies with a sigh. "Seeing as I’m the only one who knows how to pick locks, I suggest—" He startles as Vi kicks the door open and strides into the workshop.
Claggor smacks the back of Mylo’s head. "Animals," Mylo mutters to no one in particular.
I walk in with Powder. "Whoa," we both say in awe, glancing around the workshop like we’ve just walked into a candy store. It’s filled with books and strange artifacts.
Vi drops her bag on the floor, eagerly scanning the bookshelves, while Claggor and Mylo start rummaging through the tables.
"You know, Claggor, for once you're right." Mylo picks up a random object from the table, eyeing it. "We are definitely not supposed to be here." He shrugs and drops the object into his bag.
Claggor opens a drawer and dumps its contents into his own bag.
Powder finds a small model of a horse, knocking over some books as she picks it up and shows it to me. Meanwhile, I start looking around for anything valuable to add to the bag.
Vi stands in front of a chalkboard covered in complex math equations. "Must be an inventor," she mutters.
I spot something shiny on a nearby table. "Whoa, Pow-Pow, look!" I call, holding it up. "I think this is real Valdiani!" Together, we examine the object, turning it around in our hands. Suddenly, it clicks open, and soft music starts playing as a tiny planet begins to spin.
"Oh yeah? What about this?" Mylo holds up a pair of clamps.
"That's a nose hair trimmer," I say, unimpressed.
"Ash, Powder," Vi calls over, "keep an eye out for anything actually valuable before Mylo fills the bag with junk."
Mylo grumbles and tosses the nose hair trimmer aside. As he digs through papers on the table, he uncovers a strange triangular object with a blue crystal in the center. "Uh... guys?"
Claggor and Vi both turn to look at it.
"Wait, Vi, how the hell did we find this place?" Claggor asks.
"It was a tip from Little Man," Vi replies.
"Little Man?" Mylo echoes.
"Just leave it," Vi says, irritated
Meanwhile, Powder and I explore further, walking down a hallway and reaching another room. As we look around, I spot something two sandwiches on a table. "Woo-hoo!" I cheer, grabbing the sandwiches and I hand one to Powder and take the other for myself bitting into it.
Powder uncovers a chest. We look at it, and she tries to lift it, but it’s too heavy. I help her, but we barely manage to shift it. Accidentally, I press a button, and the lid springs open, revealing six glowing crystals.
"Whoa," we say in unison. Powder picks one up, inspecting it closely.
"What is that?" I ask, eyes wide.
Back in the main room, Vi, Mylo, and Claggor are still shoving objects into their bags. Suddenly, Vi freezes, listening intently. She hears footsteps approaching the door.
"Mylo!" Vi says, pointing to a chair.
Mylo grabs the chair and runs to block the door.
"Powder, Ash, we gotta go," Vi whispers urgently.
A gasp escapes from me as Powder and I quickly grab the blue crystals. I take two, and Powder takes four.
"Hello?" A man’s voice calls from outside. "Is someone in there?" his tone growing urgent as he tries to open the door.
I shove the stones into my pocket while Powder stashes the rest, but she accidentally drops one, either of us noticing it. The stone rolls across the floor, releasing streams of blue energy.
We rush toward Vi, who grabs our arms and leads us down the hallway to the main room, where Mylo and Claggor are waiting by the balcony doors.
"Come on!" Mylo urges, trying to hurry us.
"We’ll be fine. Just get back on the roof," Vi commands, grabbing her bag from the floor.
But before we can reach the balcony, in the other room the blue stone rolls into the wall, shattering and erupting into a massive blue explosion. The blast sends us flying across the room, slamming into the balcony floor.
The force of the explosion knocks us to the ground as blue energy streaks out through the balcony. My ears ring painfully from the deafening sound.
Vi scrambles back to us, checking if we’re okay.
The entire place starts to collapse around us.
"Hold on!" Vi shouts.
Powder and I cling to each other desperately, like our lives depend on it.
Below, enforcers spot the crumbling building and scramble out of the way as debris crashes onto the street.
Vi rushes to the edge and looks down, locking eyes with an enforcer.
"Shit," she mutters under her breath.
Suddenly, honks blare through the streets alerting the city of the intruders.
We all sprint through the streets of Piltover, enforcers right behind us.
"Stop right there!" one of them yells, throwing a trap that nearly catches Claggor, but instead wraps around a light pole.
We keep running, pushing through crowds, darting down stairs, as more traps fly toward us.
We reach a bridge just as it begins to rise. We leap over the widening gap, one enforcer missing the jump and falling through.
"This way!" Vi shouts, leading us through the alleys. We run so fast, barely stopping as we hit a wall, but we keep going. Vi breaks a pipe, creating a cloud of steam that leaves the enforcers coughing and disoriented.
They search the now-empty alley, one signaling to the others to keep looking.

Tears | v.c
Tumblr media
The school shooting creates a turmoil of chaos around me. The gunshots echo through the hallways, and fear tightens my heart as I desperately search for Vada's gaze.
The crowd of fleeing students looks like a wall of confusion, yet my only goal is to catch a glimpse of those familiar eyes that have always comforted me. Images of our laughter, tender moments, our entire history together, crowd my mind. That special connection I have with Vada is my anchor in this storm of terror. No matter how much panic trembles my hands or how furiously my heart beats in my chest, I know that finding Vada is my top priority.
"Vada... where are you?" I mutter to myself.
The tension in the air feels almost tangible as I frantically search for Vada amidst the surrounding chaos. Each passing second feels like an eternity, as gunshots and screams fill the hallways. The reality of what's happening feels almost surreal, as if I'm trapped in a terrible dream.
Determined to find Vada, I ignore the instinct to hide and move with purpose through the chaos around me. The gunshots ring out like thunder in my ears, but my concern for Vada overrides any fear I may feel. Every step brings me closer to my goal: finding her, making sure she's safe, and holding her in my arms. I find a relatively quiet corner behind a wall and, while remaining vigilant, I pull out my phone. My mind is solely focused on Vada as I type with trembling fingers:
"Vada, I'm looking for you. Stay safe. As soon as I find an opportunity, I'll come to you. I love you."
After sending the message, I put my phone away gently and continue my frantic search. Every second counts, and the worry for Vada overrides any fear that may be present. Every step, every turn, brings me closer to her. The image of her smile, shared moments, and promises made guide me through the nightmare surrounding us. The voices screaming and the sound of gunshots become background noise as I search only for Vada's face. Our love is the light guiding me through the darkness and giving me the strength to overcome any obstacle.
Suddenly, an eerie silence falls over the area, breaking the deafening noise of the gunshots. Every instinct in me goes on alert, my senses waiting to comprehend what's happening. The silence is almost more frightening than the sounds that preceded it, as I can't help but wonder what has changed. I look around suspiciously, seeking signs of movement or explanations. My heart still races, adrenaline continues to course through my veins as I try to understand if the nightmare is truly over or if it's just a momentary respite before the violence resumes.
And then, looking beyond the still-agitated crowd, I see Vada. My breath catches for a moment, almost in disbelief that she's there, alive and safe. All my fears seem to vanish in an instant, replaced by immense gratitude and joy.
—T/n!— she exclaims, her eyes expressing a mix of surprise and happiness.
—Vada!— I respond with a trembling voice, tears welling up in my eyes. Without a second thought, I wrap my arms around Vada's waist, lifting her in an embrace filled with passion and emotion. I continue to hold Vada in my arms, but then I feel her laughter and gradually lower her back to the ground. Our gazes lock once again, but then I notice the presence of the blonde girl standing near us.
—T/n, this is Mia. She was with me while I was trying to find a safe place.— Vada says with a half-smile.
—Hi, Mia. Thank you for taking care of Vada.— I say, looking at the girl with gratitude.
Mia nods with a faint smile, but the tension remains palpable in the air.
— I'm so glad you're safe, T/n — Vada says with a strained smile, though her eyes still reflect the agitation of the situation.
— I am too, Vada. I didn't know what I'd do without you. — I mutter, looking at Vada with shining eyes.
Mia watches the scene in silence, her eyes carefully scrutinizing the bond between T/n and Vada.
— Perhaps we should try to find a way out of here now that the gunshots have stopped. — Mia suggests timidly.
Vada nods, but T/n's attention is still focused on Vada. I can't help but feel relieved to see the person I love safe, but I know there are still many uncertainties to face. With Mia by their side and Tara next to T/n, they know they'll have to face the challenges that await them outside those walls together.

Vada Pov's
The days following that terrible school shooting were truly the worst. Despite trying to face together what had happened, the shadow of terror and anxiety seemed to linger around us. But sometimes, when the wounds are too deep, we grasp onto the wrong paths to cope with the pain.
One of those paths was taken by me, along with Mia.
It was a world I had never explored before, yet it seemed to offer a way to escape the haunting memories and constant pain. Drugs, a way to forget, even if only for a brief moment, had become a sort of refuge for me. In the days that followed, I often found myself spending time with Mia, in a world of substances that offered me a false sense of calm. While trying to forget the moments of fear and terror that had marked that shooting, I ended up creating a new dependency that would only make things worse.
During a class, as anxiety began to creep in, I found myself absentmindedly chewing on a pen. Without realizing it, the pen broke, and ink spilled on me. It was as if everything I touched ended up going wrong. I grabbed my phone and sent a message to T/n.
" I'm not feeling very well "
I wrote, trying to hide how bad I truly felt.
When I received her reply, I felt a mixture of fear and relief. Fear because I didn't want her to see me in this state, and relief because I knew I could confide in her.
" t/n: I'm worried. Where are you? Can I come to you? "
Tears mixed with ink on my face as I wrote the response. I felt dizzy as I descended the stairs, still under the influence of the drug. I stopped to wipe the ink-filled mouth with my hand, laughing to myself for whatever reason. The effect of the drug coursed through my body, making me feel relaxed and happy, as if nothing could touch me.
I lay down on the stairs, enjoying that moment of release. Then, suddenly, I felt the presence of T/n, my girlfriend. I looked at her with a relaxed smile, trying not to let on how much I was affected.
— Hey, T/n... — I said, smiling.
— Vada, what's happening? Why are you acting like this? — T/n looked at me with concerned eyes.
— Oh, it's nothing, don't worry. I'm fine. — I shrugged nonchalantly.
— You don't look fine at all, you look... out of it. — T/n raised an eyebrow.
— No, no, I'm just relaxing a bit. Want some of what I took? It'll make you feel amazing. — I chuckled.
— Vada, don't joke about these things. You know how much I worry about you. — T/n said with worry.
— Oh, really? Doesn't seem like it, otherwise you wouldn't have left me in this state. — I raised an eyebrow with confusion.
— I don't want to see you like this, Vada. This isn't you. — T/n's annoyance was evident.
— Oh, so now you know who I am? Interesting. — I tried to get up from the stairs.
— Don't try to make me feel guilty. I just want to understand what's happening to you. — T/n said, arms crossed.
— It's none of your business, T/n. I can do whatever I want. — I retorted, getting irritated.
— No, you can't. Not when it comes to ruining your life with these things. — T/n replied authoritatively.
— So now you're playing the good girl who cares. I don't need your morality. — I was starting to get angry.
— I don't want to see you destroy yourself. — T/n's voice lowered as she looked down at the floor.
— I'm not doing that, okay? Just... leave me alone. — I responded bitterly.
— I can't do that, Vada. I love you. — T/n's voice trembled as she spoke.
— Cut it out with the sweet words. I don't need them. — I rolled my eyes irritably.
— Vada, I don't know what's happening to you, but I just want you to be safe. — T/n's eyes looked at me with a hint of hurt.
— And what do you want me to do? Promise you I'll stop? It won't work, so do yourself a favor and go away. — I raised my voice.
— I don't know how to help you if you don't tell me what's going on. — T/n's eyes held a touch of sadness.
— I don't need your help, okay? I can handle myself. — I replied defiantly.
— I'm sorry to see you like this, Vada. — My girlfriend's voice slowly broke.
After those words, T/n walked away, leaving me alone on the stairs. I felt a whirlwind of emotions churn inside me as I tried to deal with the situation I had found myself in.
***
I woke up in my room, still dazed by the events of the past few hours. My head was pounding, and my thoughts seemed wrapped in a dense fog. My heart was pounding hard in my chest, as if it wanted to escape from an invisible prison. I tried to piece together the fragments of what had happened, but everything seemed confusing and blurry. Shortly after, my mother Patricia entered the room with a worried look. Her gaze landed on me, and a crease of concern formed on her forehead.
— How are you feeling? I've been so worried about you. — She looked at me with concern.
I forced a smile, even though my head was a mess of emotions. — I'm fine, Mom. Just a little dizzy. —
— Thank goodness. — My mother sighed in relief. — Nick was really kind to bring you home. But... T/n? You haven't been seeing each other much lately. — She asked curiously.
The mention of T/n brought a knot of sadness to my chest. I remembered the argument from a few hours ago and lowered my gaze, trying to ignore those turbulent feelings that were coursing through me.
— Well, yeah, you know how it is, busy with commitments and all. — I tried to come up with a believable excuse.
— Vada, you two have been inseparable for so long. It's just strange to see you so distant. —
— Things change, I guess. — I affirmed.
— If there's something you want to share, you know you can talk to me, right? — My mother's comforting squeeze on my shoulder made me smile.
— Of course, Mom. But I assure you, it's just a phase. —
I couldn't bear the idea of worrying my mother with my issues as well. I tried to set aside the negative thoughts and focus on the present.
— Alright, but don't forget that I love you and I'm here for you. — My mother sighed.
— I know, Mom. Thanks. — I nodded.
Patricia smiled affectionately at me and left the room. I felt a mix of emotions inside me, but I tried to stay focused on how to deal with the current moment. It was difficult to ignore the absence of T/n, but I didn't want to burden others with my problems.
I lay down on the bed, trying to push away the negative thoughts and concentrate on what I could do to regain a sense of normalcy. It was a challenge, but I knew I had to seek a solution rather than letting myself be dragged into despair. As I continued to try and relax, I felt my phone vibrate on the desk. With a bit of hesitation, I picked up the device and saw that there was a message from Mia. An unconscious smile formed on my face, as if her virtual presence could bring a little light to the dark moments.
I opened the message with anticipation and hope, curious about what Mia had to say.
"Hi Vada, how are you today? I've been thinking about you and wanted to let you know that I'm here if you need to talk. You're not alone in this struggle."
My smile widened as I read Mia's caring words. It was incredible how she always seemed to understand when I needed a bit of comfort.

T/N Pov's
I found myself in Vada's room, unable to bear the fact that I had argued with my girlfriend. I felt a tangle of emotions inside me and a need to do something to mend the situation. Vada's mother had opened the door and looked at me in surprise at my sudden presence.
— Oh, T/n, I didn't expect to see you here. — She smiled at Patricia.
— Hi, Mrs. Yeah, I'm sorry if I came unexpectedly... — I murmured weakly.
— Don't worry, you're always welcome here. I know Vada values your relationship. — My mother-in-law gave me a hug.
— Thanks. I really need to talk to her. — I mumbled, returning the hug gently.
— Vada is out with Nick, but she shouldn't be long. Do you want to wait for her in her room? — She asked gently.
— Yes, thank you. I'll wait here. — I nodded.
— Alright, if you need anything, let me know. — She said with a smile on her lips.
I felt a bit uncomfortable with the situation, but I was determined to sort things out with Vada. I knew we had argued and things were tense, but I couldn't bear the idea of leaving things like this.
I waited in Vada's room, trying to prepare the right words to address the conversation I knew would be difficult. I needed to make her understand how sorry I was and how much I cared about her. No matter how long it took, I was willing to show her that I would be there for her, regardless of the challenges we would face.
After hours of waiting...
Vada entered the room, and her sharp response hit me like a punch to the stomach. — What are you doing here? — Her words made me feel like I had no right to be there, concerned for her. But the lipstick mark on her neck struck me even more, and my heart began to beat faster.
— Vada, what's this? — Her red and swollen eyes looked at me with a mix of discomfort and distance. It was evident that something deeply painful was happening within her.
— It's your handiwork, remember? — Vada replied in a distant voice.
Vada tried to stammer some excuse, but I couldn't focus on what she was saying. I had seen the lipstick mark on her neck, and I knew it wasn't from me. However, her confused expression seemed to indicate that she didn't even know what had happened.
Unable to hold back the tears, I moved closer to Vada, placing my hands around the collar of her shirt. My heart was pounding hard in my chest, and my voice trembled as I saw Vada's collar. The visible hickeys, they were there, and my world crumbled before my eyes.
— You... you couldn't... — Tears began to stream down my cheeks as I tried to face the reality of what was happening.
Vada had betrayed me.
Vada tried to say something, but her words seemed distant and incomprehensible. Anger and pain mixed within me, and I didn't know what to do or say. My mind was a storm of emotions, and I felt as if my heart had been shattered into a thousand pieces. In that moment, I needed answers and clarity, but all I had in front of me was a confusion that seemed endless.
— Vada, what the hell is happening? What are those hickies on your neck? — I demanded.
Vada avoided my gaze, her expression growing more embarrassed and guilty. My stomach twisted as tension built between us.
— Vada, answer me. I have the right to know what's happening. — I asked with a broken voice.
Vada hesitated, avoiding my gaze.
— Vada, answer! — I raised my voice. — What did you do? Did you cheat on me? — I asked, feeling a searing pain.
Vada seemed to struggle — Yes, I cheated on you. — She whispered timidly.
I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. The confirmation of my fears sent me reeling emotionally. I needed to know more, I needed to understand the extent of what had happened.
— With who? Who did you do this with? — I tried to hold back tears.
Vada lowered her gaze, looking at the floor. It was clear that the words were coming out of her with difficulty.
— Answer, Vada. With who? — I asked again.
— Answer, Vada. — I repeated, more forcefully.
— With Mia. — She whispered.
Tears welled up in my eyes. I felt like the world had crumbled around me. — It was just a kiss, right? A mistake? — I asked with a broken voice.
Vada didn't immediately respond. The silence that followed was unbearable until finally Vada looked up.
— No, it wasn't just a kiss. — She muttered softly, looking at me with teary eyes.
I felt like the whole world had collapsed around me. Vada's words had hurt me deeply, and her reaction to my anger left me speechless. Anger and frustration were reaching their peak.
— You know what, T/n? — Vada yelled — I would never have cheated on you if you weren't such a terrible girlfriend. — She muttered, looking at me with anger.
Her words echoed in my head, and without thinking, I reacted instinctively. My hand rose, and my skin made contact with her cheek in a slap that seemed to summon all the pain I had felt. Tears streamed down my cheeks as emotion overwhelmed me.
Vada held her cheek, her eyes red from anger and shock. The silence became heavy, broken only by the sound of our labored breaths.
— You're right. — My voice broke again as I shook my head several times.
My words came out with difficulty, almost whispered. I felt a jumble of emotions within me, from pain to anger, from sadness to acceptance. It was as if I had finally acknowledged the harsh reality of what was happening between us.
— It's over between us. — I mumbled weakly.
The words came out with a tone of finality that surprised me. I felt like I had taken an important step, but at the same time, the void opening up inside me was difficult to bear.
I stepped away from Vada, trying to hold back tears as I left her room. It was a situation I had never wanted to face, but now there was no way out. I needed time for myself, to heal from the deep wounds that discovery had caused.
I kept walking, with a broken heart and the weight of those words echoing in every corner of my mind.

Shared Embarrassment Is Good for Bonding
An Angela x Reader fic I wrote! No warnings needed :)
The Smosh studio is bustling with activity as the team prepares to film a "You Posted That?" episode. As a new actor, this shoot will serve as an introduction to both the people I'll be working with and the audience.
You feel your skin buzz with excitement while you enter the scene of preparation and general pre-filming chaos. You walk up to your podium and start to feel your heart pound, the bright lights of the studio making everything feel a little more intense. You have watched Smosh for a while and knew how bad these posts could be.
While you are mentally preparing someone catches your eye, Angela is as funny and confident as ever, she has all of the crew in a laughing fit already. She catches your nervous glance and flashes you a reassuring smile.
“First video?” Angela’s words pull you out of your head, You nod, trying not to look too nervous. “Yeah, and I’m already regretting every post I’ve ever made.” At that Angela laughs, a genuine and joyful noise. Angela laughs, the sound is wonderful and light. “Don’t worry. We all have embarrassing posts. Just have fun with it”. Her attitude helps you feel more comfortable, but your nerves are still buzzing. As the cameras start rolling and the hosts pull up your first old post, you brace yourself.
The episode moves along, with the hosts gleefully digging up your most awkward and ridiculous social media moments. You groan as they display an old, borderline scary photo you posted as a teenager, and the room erupts in laughter. Angela joins in on the laughter, but not in a mocking way, more like she understands. Amid her laughter, Angela reaches over and lightly pats your shoulder. “Hey, that’s not so bad. I mean, we’ve all been there, right?”.
The rest of the cast and crew are definitely having a blast poking fun at you, but there’s something special about the way Angela keeps throwing supportive looks your way, you feel like you’re sharing a secret every time.
Eventually, the spotlight shifts to Angela. As they pull up one of her old, silly posts from years ago, you can’t resist teasing her. "Oh wow, Angela! That’s definitely a...bold outfit choice."She grins at you, clearly unbothered by the teasing. “What can I say? I was a trendsetter.”
As more of her posts get revealed, you notice her cheeks turn slightly pink at a particularly goofy selfie from her Instagram. The rest of the cast and crew bursts out laughing, and before you can stop yourself, you lean over and whisper, “Okay, that one’s adorable.”Angela turns toward you, eyes full of surprise with a soft smile playing on her lips. “You think so?” This time when you reply your voice is quieter, yet stern “definitely.”
For a moment, she looks at you, her gaze lingering just a bit longer than expected and you could have sworn her eyes swooped over your lips. The room around you fades into the background, and all you can focus on is the warmth in her eyes and the way her smile makes your heart race.
Once filming wraps, the crew starts packing up, but you and Angela are still sitting on the set, laughing about the ridiculous posts and the chaos of the shoot. Angela nudges you lightly with her elbow, her expression teasing but fond. “How does it feel to survive ‘You Posted That’ and still have your ego intact?” You chuckle, leaning back against the multicolored wall. “Thanks, but I think you won that round. Somehow, you made all your old posts look cool.”
She grins, but then her expression softens as she glances down for a moment, almost shy. “Well, you made it fun. I don’t usually enjoy going through that kind of embarrassing stuff, but… today was different.” There’s a weight to her words that makes your pulse quicken. You meet her gaze, feeling the same shift in the air that happened earlier during the show. “Yeah,” you agree quietly, “it was different. In a good way, I can safely say it was somehow the best and worst shoot I’ve done.”
Angela's eyes flick to your lips for a brief second before she quickly looks away, smiling. "So, do you want to grab something to eat? I know a place nearby. We can celebrate surviving the cringe together." Your heart skips a beat. The invitation feels casual, but there's something more underneath; you can feel the weight of her words once again. You nod, trying to play it cool. "Yeah, that sounds great."
You and Angela end up at a cozy restaurant nearby, Bacari. The conversation flows easily as you talk about the shoot, your favorite sketches, and what it’s like being the new kid at Smosh. You also talk about how you have been a fan of Smosh for a while.
“I still can’t believe some of those posts,” you say, laughing. “I’m never going to live down my teen angst being publicized.” Angela giggles, her hand lightly brushing yours on the table. “Honestly, I think it’s cute. Shows character even if the character was broody.” Her touch sends a shiver through you, and when she doesn’t pull her hand away, neither do you. The soft hum of the restaurant seems to fade as you lock eyes again, the playful banter giving way to something feeling more meaningful than before.
“I’m really glad I joined Smosh,” you say, your voice softer now. “Not just because it’s fun, but… because I got to meet you.” Angela smiles, the look in her eyes can only be described as pure joy, her cheeks flushing slightly, and she squeezes your hand. “I’m glad you joined too. It feels like we’ve known each other longer than just a day.” The conversation slows as you both sit there, hands intertwined across the table, the connection between you deepening with each passing second. There’s no need for words anymore—just the quiet understanding that something special is starting here, something neither of you expected.
As the evening winds down, you walk back toward your cars together, the night air cool but comfortable. You both linger where you spilt, neither wanting to end the night just yet. After a moment Angela blurts out “Same time next week? Maybe we can make this a thing—hanging out after filming.” She stares at you as if Angela wasn’t expecting to speak. You grin, your heart racing for what seems like the millionth time that night. “I’d like that.”
Before you can say anything else, Angela steps closer, her arms wrapping around you in a gentle, lingering hug. You can feel her warmth, the steady beat of her heart, and when she pulls back, her face is close enough that you can feel her breath on your cheek. Without thinking, you lean in just a little, and Angela meets you halfway, her lips brushing against yours in a soft, tentative kiss. The moment feels perfect, it’s slow, sweet, and filled with a warmth that makes your heart swell.
When you finally pull back, Angela’s cheeks are slightly flushed, and she’s smiling in that soft, shy way that makes your stomach flip. “I’m really glad you joined,” she whispers, her forehead resting gently against yours. You grin back, your heart pounding in the best way. “Me too.”
With one last lingering look, Angela squeezes your hand before stepping back. “See you next week,” she says, her voice full of promise. As she walks away, you stand there, grinning like an idiot, already counting the days until you see her again.

Te On1y One - Ep 9
There was another series that was recently aired, and many viewers - myself included - complained that the series underwent a strange change halfway through, that it lost focus on what it was about, that nothing important happened in the series to the story and the couple for whom we were watching it. We were accused by fans of this series of a lot of weird things, including not appreciating the slow burn and things in the plot that have nothing to do with the romance.
No, it was really not that lol, as The On1y One proves. Because this is a series that has a real slow burn (episode 9 and they are still not together! and it's perfectly FINE!), and that randomly throws in an entire episode about a sports day at school with like, one or two scenes of the ML together, and yet we all just love it.
I just love this series. I like everything about it, starting from the plot, from the main couple, to sticking to the concept, style and maintaining the continuity of the vibe from the beginning, without drastic, incomprehensible changes. I watched this whole episode about kids having fun, about the mysterious relationship between the teachers and about just few scenes of ML with real enthusiasm and interest. Because even the few scenes with the main characters are filmed in such a way that they are MEANINGFUL. Because of which, even if there are few of them, as a viewer I still feel pampered 😊
......
I love all these details like looking at the bracelet before jumping, staring unblinkingly at naked Tian colleagues, cuddling Tian's neck, the vibe of "things left unsaid", glances, pouts… How Tian just folded when Sheng used a respectable phrase lol (like JaeYoung from Semantic Error hearing "hyung" 😆) And of course the invariable fact that for Tian, Sheng is absolutely a top priority. Oh no, Sheng is injured? For Tian everything else ceases to exist. 'Fuck the competition, I'm taking you out of here, I'll take care of you'. This is.. this is the height of romanticism, this, his total focus on him and his well-being, when the whole world fades away somewhere in the background.
.....
The teachers at this school are really crazy interesting, it reminds me a bit of Gokusen lol. The principal dancing to the song about him stripping was really funny 😆. And the chaos in the relationships of these three is sooo engaging 🍿
They also showed Jia Hao's struggles really well. Of course I'm not excusing him for what he did. I mean showing the reality of people who try so hard to fit in, to be the best, and how they feel when someone comes along who seems to achieve it effortlessly.
This was such a fun, sweet, funny and charming episode. I had such a good time watching it 💖
Tumblr media
That was so romantic and hot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm perfectly normal about them.

[SKZ Imprinted] Stray Kids: Dungeons & DragonsWerewolves (Spin-Off)
Tumblr media
Characters: ot8 skz x ocs
Genre/warnings: college au, werewolf au (sort of), humor, minor angst. lots of d&d happening (coming from someone who knows very little about d&d), possible major character death in the beginning and the end but not really, a twist on dream theory
Word count: 2,976
Summary: What if it was all just one elaborate D&D campaign?
a/n: this wasn't requested i just thought this might be fun hehe
SKZ Imprinted Masterlist
This was it. This was the moment the entire pack had been waiting for.
Jungkook was back.
The only problem was it wasn't on the terms they'd hoped. They wanted Namjoon to track him down. They wanted the hunters to bring him to them under safe circumstances so they could be sure everyone on their side would be safe.
Instead, it was chaos.
Ryujin was held tightly in front of him, one of his strong arms wrapped around her to keep her there. In his other hand was a gun, the barrel pressed to her temple. Jungkook's wild eyes scanned the small crowd in front of him.
"Don't move," he threatened through clenched teeth, his jaw impossibly tight, "or I'll shoot."
But how could Minho not move? Of course he was going to do anything to save his mate, even if it meant putting his own life in danger.
He lunged forward, betting on his reflexes being faster than Jungkook's. The hunter moved his arm that held the gun to his sister's head and--
Bam!
The room froze, all eyes going from Ryujin to Minho as time seemed to slow. Chan's jaw dropped as he watched his brother fall to his knees in front of Jungkook. He saw the bullet come out from the back of Minho's head--
"No fuckin' way!"
Aeri slowly lifted her gaze from the two large books she propped up around her like a child in school taking an exam and trying to hide their test behind folders and binders. Spread out in front of her were more papers. But instead of her eyes being wide as she read off of the papers she had written and spent hours planning, she was now glaring at the cause of the interruption.
"Minho died?!" Hyunjin gasped, looking at the dungeon master with wide brown eyes.
"Well dumbass over here wanted to just lunge at Jungkook like a psychopath!" she stated, gesturing across the long table to the psychopath in question.
Minho still looked displeased, continuing his earlier outburst, "There's absolutely no shot I die there."
"There was actually a shot," Seungmin stated, "and you did die to it."
Minho continued to glare at Aeri as he grabbed his d20 without looking, while she scanned over her paperwork to make sure she was correct -- even though she knew she was. She had copies of all of their character sheets and had been keeping careful track of all of their stats. Minho definitely hit 0.
She looked up and nodded once, stating, "Roll."
It was her idea to start this D&D campaign. She actually came up with all of the characters and their backgrounds. She also decided to modify it to make it at least a little more realistic.
Originally, the eight boys were supposed to be part of a gang with all of them having different roles. But her boyfriend begged to be a werewolf, and then Seungmin decided he needed to be one, and it snowballed into all eight men banning together to create their werewolf pack.
Chan was their fearless alpha, which gave him an extra strength point just for that. Aeri assigned Minho as a Rogue, taking some inspiration from his slyness in real life. Changbin was a Rogue Barbarian, using a mix of stealth and brute force to take down any foes in his path. The others in the pack were simply 'Scholars', a class Aeri invented for this "realistic" campaign -- though, Hyunjin's character had a mysterious past that nobody knew details about, and they had yet to discover anything else about his possible class or alignment.
Overall, the girlfriends of the group were simple Human Scholars with their different alignments. The only exceptions were Jamie, and the sisters. Jamie's class and alignment were both unknown, though her character was a mostly non-verbal person with a lot of her thoughts, emotions, and past kept a mystery.
The youngest of the Jeon sisters was classified as a Fighter, while Elsie was a Werewolf Hunter -- another class Aeri invented, but said it was a sub-class of Fighter.
And their brother was made one of the villains, and was the current main villain. All because Aeri was upset he wouldn't join their campaign.
Minho's die hit the table. 14.
"One win," he smirked.
"Two more to go," Aeri reminded him.
"Wasn't there a rule last time about not going with Minho's first answer and letting the group decide?" Ankita recalled while the rolls for combat continued.
"Yeah, but it wasn't as fun," Aeri sighed. "I made an executive decision as DM to undo the rule."
"Honestly," Jamie spoke up, holding a steaming mug of tea between both hands, "it's his own fault for getting shot."
"It's Aeri's fault for rolling a 19!" Minho shouted, making Mari jump during her turn to roll, prematurely dropping the die on the table.
"Okay, okay," Chan stepped in to calm the group before they decided to gang up on his girlfriend, "let's remember this isn't the first time someone got shot -- and Elsie lived."
"Barely," she stated. "I literally met God, like, 3 times."
The bad thing about having a DM who only just recently got into D&D and only knew the bare minimum -- if that -- was that Aeri tended to just make things up as she went. She wasn't always sure when to roll Perception or Initiative or when to roll for one's literal life. So sometimes she just...made things up.
The good thing about having a DM like Aeri, though, was that things were always interesting. Sometimes she would throw things in as she went, even if they weren't pre-planned. Having her ex-boyfriend, Taehyung be the original bad guy along with her mutual friends with him was something she had planned all along, but she decided to really focus on Jungkook out of nowhere when he refused to join the campaign when she offered that one time he came over for the Halloween party. She had always planned for Elsie to be a Fighter, but decided last minute to add on Werewolf Hunter when her and Seungmin went on The World's Shortest Break just to tease them. She made the decision while they were actively rolling for their Abilities to lower Minho, Hyunjin, and Jisung's Intelligence and Wisdom scores despite what they had rolled because she just couldn't have them being smart in any universe.
The die hit the table again. 1.
Aeri smirked at Minho, "Two losses. Good luck, champ."
"Two?!" Minho exclaimed angrily. "But I--"
"If you roll less than 10, it's one loss. If you roll a 1, it counts for two," Seungmin explained before rolling his eyes. "Don't you pay attention to the rules?"
"Not when Chan's girlfriend makes up half of them!" he shouted, gesturing toward the DM at the head of the table.
All she did was stare back at Minho, glance around the table, and shrug.
"Some of us died several times and aren't complaining," Elsie reminded him.
"Babe, can you just roll?" Ryu whined softly. "This is supposed to be fun."
"It's fun when I'm not about to die!" he exclaimed again before tossing the die across the table, landing on Hyunjin's character sheets.
The younger boy looked down in front of him before looking up at Minho to tell him, "19."
Minho tossed his head back and loudly groaned before shouting, "Motherfucker!"
The rest of the table, however, was having a fantastic time watching Minho struggle. He was so close to an instant win, and they couldn't help but laugh at his failure.
"If you die, you can always have Yoongi bring you back to life," Minseo shrugged. "I don't see the problem."
"That was only because Yoongi showed up for one game night and he wanted to do something cool," Aeri stated. "If he's not here, he can't help you."
"That's a stupid rule and you know it," Minho huffed, rolling his eyes until they glared at Aeri.
"Not stupid. Intentionally mean," Hyunjin corrected.
Aeri just grinned, "If it wasn't so funny seeing Minho get this mad at a game, maybe the rules would be different."
"Monopoly may end friendships but DnD completely burns all bridges of friendship," Ankita said quietly as she stared down at the table, too afraid to look up in case she caught Minho's intense stare.
Minho blew on the die, mumbling, "C'mon, c'mon..."
Finally, with a deep breath that was slowly let out, Minho tossed the die onto the table. Everyone leaned over to see what the outcome was, some standing up from their seats to see. And...
Ryu cried out Minho's name, one hand reaching out for him as she squirmed to get away, but Jungkook just tightened his grip. Some of the pack stayed frozen, trying to process what had happened as Minho blood pooled on the floor around where he lay seemingly lifeless. Others fell to their knees, sobs wracking their bodies.
Chan was one of the few that hadn't yet processed what exactly had happened as he stared at Minho's body. But as he stared, he realized...he was still breathing. Was it possible that maybe, somehow, Jungkook hadn't used a silver bullet? Maybe he didn't have access to that after running away? Maybe there was a chance for Minho to live.
But they would have to act quickly.
"I try to distract Jungkook to get his attention off of Minho and avoid a finishing blow, and so Changbin can sneak around and attack," Chan stated for his turn.
Aeri nodded for him to roll the dice.
Slowly, the alpha put up his hands in surrender. Jungkook's gaze and gun immediately pointed to him, but Chan didn't even flinch.
"It doesn't have to end like this," he said slowly and calmly as he tentatively took a small step forward, testing the waters. Jungkok was shaking and had clearly lost all rational thought, but this was still a risk Chan was willing to take for his brother. "You don't want to hurt Ryujin -- I know you don't. You care about her. You just want your family back and for things to go back to normal. Trust me, I understand that. But...this isn't how you should go about it."
Changbin tried to pull himself together, sniffling as he wiped stray tears from his cheeks. His reddened eyes stay trained on Jungkook as he slowly and cautiously took a step to the side. He just wanted to get out of the rogue hunter's line of sight. But currently, Jungkook seemed to have tunnel-visioned onto Chan.
"You still have a chance to stop yourself from hurting her and making it worse," Chan assured Jungkook. His eyes were sincere, even if they were still blood red. "If you walk away now and let Minho go--"
"This isn't realistic literally at all," Elsie was the one to interrupt this time with a huff and a roll of her eyes.
Aeri froze, eyes wide in annoyance and staring at her sheet. She slowly moved her gaze to the older girl toward the other end of the table, "What now?"
"You really think Kookie wouldn't notice that absolute unit side-stepping away?" she snorted.
Jisung sighed, "Fine, I'll roll for distract--"
"No," Seungmin stated. "Every time you roll for speed when you're driving in serious situations, you end up going, like, 5 under."
"Fine, then you do it," Jisung told him in a sassy, high-pitched voice.
"For Minho? No."
"Your character would, though," Hyunjin reminded him.
Seungmin let out the loudest and most drawn-out groan before picking up his die and rolling it in his hand. He threw it on the table and immediately was beaming.
"15!"
However, his smile fell when he saw the way Aeri was looking at him, "What?"
Seungmin took a step forward to start running and immediately shifted, roaring at Jungkook as he lunged toward him. Jungkook's arm moved at lightening speed, and all Chan could do was cry out, "No!"
Jungkook shot Seungmin in the chest, but the distraction was still enough for Changbin to sneak up on the hunter and wrap one arm around his neck before forcing the gun out of his grasp with his other hand. Chan rushed to Ryu's aid to get her away from her brother before handing her off to Felix, who escorted the girl out of the room while she was kicking and screaming for Minho.
"How do I get shot?!" Seungmin demanded.
"Shut it, you're still alive. It wasn't a vital shot. Get a higher number next time," she said dismissively before going back to the story.
Jisung and Jeongin rushed to help Changbin subdue Jungkook, while Hyunjin went to the alpha's side as he examined the hurt wolves. Chan had rolled Minho onto his back and saw his chest was still rising and falling, even if it was shallow. He knew a bullet that wasn't made out of silver wouldn't kill him, but it could still wound him pretty badly. For all he knew, he could have permanent brain damage. And Seungmin could face something similar.
"We need to get them out of here," Chan breathed, trying to stay calm. "We need to get them to Josh and Aya."
"How are they still alive?" Hyunjin questioned. "It shouldn't be possible, right?"
Chan had his suspicion the bullet wasn't silver, but he had to make sure. His eyes scanned the floor until he found the bullet from Minho. Without even thinking about it, he reached for it, hissing in pain as it immediately sizzled against his skin.
His eyes widened.
"Roll to kill Jungkook!" Changbin shouted out of turn.
Aeri immediately turned to him, "Can you wait your turn? It's technically Jeongin's anyway."
"Roll to kill Jungkook!" Jeongin cheered with a wide grin.
"Don't you have the lowest stats?" Jisung asked.
"No, I'm way smarter than you are."
"Are you sure?" Aeri asked, her tone serious as she looked across the table at the youngest. "If you don't roll high enough, it could end badly for you."
"What, another fake shot?" Minho scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"No."
All eyes went to Aeri. This was very crucial information to the campaign. She was warning them that this time, there would be a very real death for Jeongin's character. There would be no going back.
"I don't want to spoil anything, but...I know this run means a lot to you guys so far. So...just a warning," she told him with a shrug. "Are you sure?"
The group looked around between each other. The girls didn't really have much to do with the current predicament, so it was something the boys had to work out. But ultimately, they decided it was Jeongin's decision. Did he think he would be lucky enough to roll a number high enough to actually get rid of the biggest villain thus far in the campaign?
Jeongin stared at his d20. Did he think he could do it? Did he even want to risk it? But if he pulled it off, it would be so cool. And it would be such a big accomplishment within the campaign. They could move onto something new or even expand Ryu and Elsie's lore with this. Overall, the opportunities for Jeongin pulling this off would be great for the group.
But if he failed...
Jeongin lifted his hand, pausing like he was second-guessing if he should pick up the die. But then his hand moved forward again.
"You're killing me off?"
The majority of the group at the table jumped. Hyunjin even let out a gasp and almost fell into Mari's lap as he put a hand to his chest.
"What are you doing here?" Ryu whined, looking at her twin brother that had just walked into Jeongin's parents' dining room.
"Didn't you tell me to pick you guys up at 9?" Jungkook asked, checking his phone again to make sure he had the time right.
Jisung's eyes widened, "It's already 9?!"
"It's passed my bedtime..." Ankita mumbled.
"Oh, shit," Chan chuckled as he also checked the time on his phone. "Didn't realize it was already ending time."
"But it was just getting good!" Minseo whined.
"And I'm on death's door with chucklehead over there," Minho scowled, pointing his thumb over his shoulder to Seungmin. "We can't just leave it like this!"
"If you guys are killing me, shouldn't I fight for myself?" Jungkook asked.
Aeri scoffed, "No! You didn't want to join the campaign to begin with!"
"Yeah, but now my life is on the line," he countered. "Can't I join in at least for the boss battle?"
"We don't even know if Jeongin is gonna go for it," Jamie said.
"And we apparently won't know until next week," Aeri sighed as she slapped one of her books closed.
"Well," Jungkook began as everyone started collecting their belongings and standing up from their chairs to leave, "maybe I'll hang around next week to see what happens."
Aeri eyed the boy up and down, eyes narrowed. She had wanted him to join... Maybe letting him play his own boss battle -- if it happened -- would be interesting. Even if Jeongin didn't go through with it, just watching the group play might convince Jungkook to join.
She grabbed Jungkook's character sheets, and the notes from the campaign so far from her folder and slapped them into his chest, "Study up, buddy."
"Alright, dingdong," Elsie walked up behind her younger brother and reached up to mess up his hair, "let's roll."
Jungkook shot her a dirty look, "Can you not?"
"Bye, guys!" Ryujin called as she put a hand on her brother's back to guide him out behind Elsie.
"Can't believe we're leaving it on a cliffhanger..." Changbin mumbled, clearly unsatisfied with the current ending.
Aeri just shrugged with a sweet smile, "Isn't that what this campaign does best?"

This idea has been rolling around my head for a while and I don't knownif I'll ever do anything with it. But it's cute and silly, so I figured I'd share anyway.
A modern-day, single dad!AU where Shanks ends up crushing on Buggy, the loser clown he hired for his kid's (Luffy) birthday party. The children are absolute gremlins and make Buggy regret every life choice that led to him being there. But the kids torturing him all just comes off as cute antics to Shanks can't get over how great with kids this guy is. Other potential parental cameos could include:
Corazone: Law didn't even want to come to the party in the first place, but oh well! Is under strict orders to stay away from the cake and its obviously flamable candles. The only adult who might actually try to help Buggy. But it only ends with him getting dragged into the chaos.
Bellemere: Laughing at the chaos and absolutely encourages the betting pool Nami start. It's for who can make Buggy's life the most miserable during the party. The answer is Usopp by the way. Kicks to the shin and being trampled after a bunch of overactive brats try to climb him are bad enough, but a pellet of hot sauce right in the eye is something he never wants to experience again.
Zeff: Made the cake with Sanji's help. Will never admit to it in front of the little eggplant, but he gives his son all the credit whenever he isn't around.
Tom: Gaurdian to both Franky and Robin. Honestly, he's probably just laughing it up with the others and taking bets with Bellemere on if Shanks will actually have a chance at getting a date with how the party is going. Tom's the more optimistic of the two.
Mihawk: The wine mom in the background, watching the chaos unfold as he sips his cares away and loses track of Zoro again🍷
Yasopp: Would have been proud of Usopp’s aim had he not been out getting milk RIP
And then you have the kids who just happen to be at the park and decide to join in on making Buggy's day worse. Kid and Killer are the ones that primarily come to mind for this, but I could see Yamato being in that classification as well if he doesn't already come to the party since Ace is his friend.

It's interesting that you've run into more Sonic '06 defenders as of late, because I think I've noticed the same thing. I've been thinking about why that is for a hot minute, and I wonder if it has to do with just how awful the video game industry is at the moment.
Games come out polished sometimes nowadays, but normally they're catastrophically broken on release and take months of post-launch patches to become somewhat playable, if they get those patches at all. Perhaps younger fans of the Sonic series, having grown up in this environment, go back to play Sonic 06', see all of its bugs and bad game design decisions, and think "Wait, that's it? That's not even the worst game I've played this week."
That is, it's less that Sonic '06 is suddenly good now, it absolutely is not, but more that the bar has sunken so deep into hell that even a blatantly broken game like Sonic '06 doesn't look particularly bad in comparison to what comes out now, so they miss the context of why it was so controversial on release.
This is an old ask that got buried, but I think it's still relevant, and to me it's just...
Liking something ironically is the path to liking it unironically. Maybe that means you're being honest with yourself, or maybe it's just familiarity. That happens with music -- so much so that there's an article from the National Library of Medicine about it. The more familiar you are with music, even if it's a song you hate, the more you eventually begin to enjoy it. It's a scientific fact.
And Sonic 06 became something of a rite of passage. Everyone knows about it, either because they've played it for themselves or they've watched someone else play some (or all) of it. Everyone has their favorite moments. Whether it's
The Winder of a Shoemaker typo (it should be "Wonder")
The inevitable realization you have to save manually after getting your first game over in Wave Ocean
Having to reload the entire world every time the state of anything changes
Sonic's boss fight with Silver, and "It's no use!"
Followers reappearing in the town stages only to instantly fall over dead.
Meeting Sonic Man
Meeting the Soleanna Boys
Meeting Pele the Dog
Sonic flicking the card at Knuckles who fumbles the catch
Riding the metal crate into space
Seeing Eggman's Real Human Eyes behind his sunglasses
Eggman's keyboard mashing "typing" animation
Realizing Sonic's head is 3/4ths the size of Princess Else's entire body
The constant back and forth of rescuing Elise only to have her get kidnapped again only to rescue her again only to have her get kidnapped again
The Windows XP background FMV
Elise's attempted suicide
Luppy Luppy
Which one is the Captain?
That tornado is carrying a car!
Elise's Train is... Uh oh, gotta speed up!
Don't be late.
Long time no see.
Amy and Elise's girltalk moment
The Test of Love
Anna, the Lady in Waiting
Eggman comically going "bonk" off the shrapnel after beating the last boss of Sonic's story
The Iblis Trigger™
The Scepter of Darkness vs. The Book of Darkness
Shadow the Hedgehog using Chaos Control to roundhouse kick Silver in the back of the head
Showing a crucified Shadow the Hedgehog in the future
The "Head to Wave Ocean" line flub still existing in the game
Mephiles is literally Shadow's shadow
THEN I'LL FIGHT... LIKE I ALWAYS HAVE
Having the ability to time travel to literally any point in history and never just going back to before Eggman arrived
The blue chaos emerald paradox loop
Watching someone's soul leave their body when they have to do Silver's billiard ball puzzle
Using the cyan gem to turn collision detection into a suggestion
Using the purple gem to go out of bounds
Spamming Omega's hover to fly anywhere
The death and return of Sonic the Hedgehog
etc. etc. etc.
I'll say it again and again and again, but it's the Rocky Horror Picture Show effect. When that movie came out, it was not beloved by the mainstream! But it became notorious as a midnight movie where the rowdy graveyard shift audience would heckle the picture, transforming it into something that was fun to watch (and participate in).
And the more they watched it, the more they heckled it, the more people realized that maybe they actually love the movie. And now it's this big, important cultural touchstone.
That's Sonic 06. Let's do the time warp again.

Oppenheimer (Part 39 - Final Part)
Pairing: Cillian Murphy x Reader
Warning: Fluff, Pregnancy, Angst
Words: 1,976
Your breath hitched as you felt the warm rush of water down your leg. Panic surged through your body, overpowering the pain of the contractions. This couldn't be happening now, not during Cillian's movie premiere. You looked at your mother, your eyes wide with fear.
"Oh god, what's happening?" you asked, your voice shaking. "Is this...is this my water breaking?" you blurted out, the question being a rhetorical one.
Your mother's face mirrored your concern as she quickly grabbed her phone and dialled the emergency line. She explained the situation to the operator, her voice filled with urgency. Meanwhile, you leaned against the bathroom wall, trying to steady your breathing as another contraction coursed through your body.
The pain intensified with each passing moment, taking your breath away. The contractions were getting stronger and more frequent, leaving you no doubt that these were indeed labour pains. Fear mixed with excitement as the realisation hit you—you were about to bring your babies into the world.
Your mother ended the call and slipped her phone back into her purse. She rushed to your side, her hands gently resting on your shoulders. "Sweetheart, the medics are on their way," she said, her voice soothing. "We need to find Cillian. He needs to know,” she told you, and you nodded, your mind racing.
The thought of Cillian finding out about your situation during his big moment troubled you, but you knew it was necessary. As you made your way out of the bathroom, supported by your mother, you could hear the buzz of excitement in the theatre growing louder.
Ignoring the stares of curious onlookers, you approached a nearby security guard. "Excuse me," you said, your voice shaky yet determined. "We need to find Cillian Murphy, it's an emergency,” your mother blurted out, and the guard looked startled for a moment but quickly composed himself. "I'll do my best to locate him for you, miss," he replied, reaching for his walkie-talkie. You couldn't help but notice the sympathetic look in his eyes as he radioed the message.
Minutes passed like hours as you waited, every second feeling like an eternity. Finally, Cillian appeared, his face lined with concern and confusion. He hurried towards you, oblivious to the flashing cameras and the crowd's attempts to capture his attention.
Cillian's eyes locked with yours, searching for answers. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
As you looked into Cillian's eyes, you took a deep breath to steady yourself. The pain of the contractions was quickly becoming unbearable, but you remained determined to share the news with him.
"Cillian," you whispered, your voice trembling. "I...I think it's time. My water broke, and the contractions are getting worse,” you told him, and Cillian's face went from confusion to shock, his eyes widening in realisation. "Oh my God, are you serious?" he muttered, his voice barely audible.
You nodded, tears welling up in your eyes as a wave of pain engulfed you. The crowd around you grew silent, the buzz of excitement replaced by a sombre hush. Cillian's hands instinctively reached out to support you, his focus solely on your well-being.
"Stay with me," he said, his voice filled with determination, and you felt a mixture of relief and fear wash over you as Cillian's presence reassured you.
The medics arrived just in time, guiding you gently onto a stretcher. Cillian stayed by your side, holding your hand tightly as the onlookers watched in awe.
The camera flashed and questions from reporters filled the air, but it all faded into the background as you concentrated on the task at hand. Cillian's touch provided an anchor, a sense of calm amidst the chaos.
As you were wheeled away, you stole one last look at Cillian, his face a mixture of concern and excitement. There were unspoken words in his eyes, a promise to be there for you and your babies no matter what.
And as the medics rushed you through the premiere's bustling crowd, the realisation hit you. This unexpected turn of events was just the beginning of a new chapter in your life, one that would be filled with challenges and unconditional love.
Twenty minutes later…
As the ambulance pulled up to the hospital, you clutched Cillian's hand tightly, feeling the heavy pain in your abdomen.
The premiere of his latest movie, Oppenheimer, had transformed from a glamorous event to an unexpected detour to the maternity ward and no doubt, come tomorrow, this would be all over the news.
Cillian’s usually calm demeanour wavered as the medics wheeled you out of the vehicle, his eyes widening with concern. "Are you all right, babe?" he asked, his voice laced with worry.
You managed a weak smile, your breathing becoming more laboured. "I'll be fine, Cillian. Just a little... ah!" you cursed as finally the hospital's automatic doors slid open, and a nurse rushed towards you, grabbing the wheelchair you were sitting in. "We've been expecting you!" she exclaimed, ushering you into the nearest elevator.
As you reached the maternity ward on the seventh floor, Cillian practically sprinted beside you, his eyes darting between the nurse, the elevator buttons, and your face.
"Just breathe, babe. Deep breaths," he coached, his voice soothing yet filled with anxiety.
Sweat trickled down your forehead as you tried to focus on his voice, but the pain intensified, making it increasingly difficult.
Finally, you were wheeled into a delivery room where doctors and nurses swiftly prepared for your impending arrival.
Cillian, ever the supportive partner, stood beside you, gripping your hand so tightly it matched the intensity of your contractions.
Within less than ten minutes, the doctor determined that you were ready. You were dilated enough the babies wanted to make their grand entrance without any further delay.
Inhaling sharply, you summoned all your strength as the doctor issued final instructions. "Alright, now push!" he said before, with a roar of determination, you pushed with all your might, your face turning crimson as the twins pushed their way into the world.
After what felt like an eternity, you collapsed back onto the bed, breathing heavily, and a cry filled the room.
The delivery of your second baby was just as quick, and your heart raced as you pushed with every ounce of strength left in you, Cillian's encouraging words spurring you on.
You pushed at least ten times, just like earlier when your first daughter was born, and then, you heard another cry coming much quicker than before.
***
Tears streamed down your face as the doctor eventually held up two tiny, squirming bundles, wrapped tightly in blankets.
Cillian’s eyes welled up with tears of joy as he turned to the nurses. "Are they okay? Are they healthy?" he questioned and the doctor nodded.
“Absolutely. Congratulations! You have two healthy baby girls," one of the nurses announced, beaming.
Cillian's lips widened into a glowing smile, his relief palpable. "Thank you, thank you so much," he whispered, never taking his eyes off the tiny miracles in the nurses' arms.
They cleaned off the newborns and gently placed them in your arms, and you marvelled at their perfect, delicate features, with deep blue eyes just like their father.
"Look at them, Cillian," you hushed, your voice choked with emotion. "They're beautiful,” you cried, and he leaned in closer, his eyes brimming with tenderness. "Just like their mother," he murmured, his voice a whisper against your ear.
As you both gazed down at your daughters, a sense of overwhelming love washed over you, the hardships and chaos of the day melting away.
"We did it, babe," Cillian whispered, his hand slipping into yours. "We brought two little lives into the world,” he said and you shared a tearful smile, too exhausted to respond but feeling the depth of his words resonate in your heart.
Minutes turned into hours as you and Cillian revelled in the joy of becoming parents. The room buzzed with excitement as your mother and father trickled in to meet the newest additions to your family.
Your parents couldn't contain their excitement, showering their granddaughters with gentle kisses and cooing words of adoration.
"Oh, they're just like Y/N when she was little,” your father exclaimed, pointing out the resemblance between you and one of the girls, and Cillian felt a pang of jealousy and playfully nudged him. "Hey, what about me? Don't I get any credit for your granddaughters?" he teased while your father rolled his eyes.
“Let’s not forget who birthed them and carried them for almost nine months, Cillian!” your father joked, causing Cillian to laugh.
“True that,” Cillian acknowledged before he whispered something into your ear.
"You deserve all the credit, babe. They are beautiful, just like you and not to mention how incredible you looked with that baby bump. I will miss that,” Cillian mused before a giggle escaped your lips, attracting the attention of your family, who glanced at you with curious smiles.
"What's so funny, you two?" your father asked, raising an eyebrow.
You and Cillian exchanged a knowing glance before he replied, an innocent tone in his voice, "Oh, just reminiscing about how I helped during labour. Isn't that right, babe?" he teased, and you stifled a laugh, squeezing his hand, playfully. "Oh, absolutely. His role was crucial. He held my hand... very, very tightly,” you teased, and laughter echoed through the room as your family shared in the humour, relieved to see you both in such high spirits after the whirlwind of emotions.
Note: I think with the birth of the twins, this story came to a natural end for now.

Soooooo....How was earthspark, my friend? 😬
I know this has been sitting in my inbox for like two weeks, sorry bro.
Season 2 was... a lot. I have a lot of things I wanted to say about this, so I'll try my damn hardest to keep this as short as possible without it becoming an essay rant.
First off, it felt like they weren't really sure how to start the next season. They skipped through a whole year of potential plot. It felt like I the plot started midway through the season. I wanted to see the aftermath of the battle with Mandroid, the fallout between the Autobots and the Decepticons, the characters grappling with being under mind control. Dammit, I wanted Megatron angst.
Speaking of which, he wasn't in there enough. In the first season he was there all the time, but he was only in two episodes. I see this a lot with shows or movie sequels where they try to introduce new characters to keep the story interesting and fresh, but what happens is that they push the main characters into the background and essentially replace them. And they made everyone dumb for some reason. Like in the second episode when Mo's parents didn't even notice how weird she was being, like, what was that ?? I know it's a kids show, but good grief, at least try to make it more sneaky.
The Chaos Terrans were meh. They felt more like unnecessary additions if you ask me. I wasn't much of a fan of Aftermath, and Spitfire (who's name I kept forgetting for some reason) was interesting in the beginning, but her character arc went way off the rails really fast. How did she go from "angry competitive person who will do whatever it takes to win" to "murder is ok and fun actually"? That feels like a real leap in logic.
I think they're trying to pull that same plotline from Cyberverse with Shockwave, where his spark was just "made evil", leaving no room for depth or development with his character arc. I already made my thoughts on that very clear when I watched Cyberverse two years ago. I was really mad when I wrote that lol.
This season also has a major problem with the thematic elements being discarded from season 1. The story felt bland and flimsy, the characters were more like two dimensional caricatures of themselves, and the ending was beyond rushed.
I did have a few things I liked about it though. I liked the filler episode with the carnival magician, it's probably my favorite episode this season. The Quintessons looked cool as hell, and I hope we get more of them at some point. I also liked Terratronus a lot, and I wish they had done more with her. I'm glad this show is tackling the idea that the Primes weren't perfect, and they had flaws in their ideology. Mo actually questioned Quintus's decisions of making these new races to support his own and then abandoning them, and Terratronus defended his authority and ignored her questions, which I thought was well done showing how Terratronus has been trained to be loyal to her creator and refuses to question his choices.
The Starscream thing was ridiculous though. His potential was left in the dust. I was so ready for him and Megatron to have another fight where they address their hatred for each other, but that didn't happen. For most of the season, he was just kinda there being a no nonsense leader guy lacking in his own personality. He only got his time to shine towards the end, and he wasn't written very well. There was only one interaction between him and Hashtag, and there was no emotion behind it at all. Then he rips the sparks out the sparks of the Chaos Terrans, which I thought was excessive but cool anyway, and then he takes over Terratronus. Starscream's defeat happened way too quickly and they didn't even really explore what he was going to do when he got control of the titan. We didn't get to see much of his point of view on how he was going to transform Earth into their new home, we just knew that was his goal. I do wish they added more of the rift between Shockwave's ideas and Starscream's as well, it would've made their retreat much more impactful.
That's all I have to say for now. I could go more in depth with it (and the lack of Prowl and Tarantulas, don't think I didn't notice that), but much like the writing team, I don't have any ideas right now.
