you ever feel something slowly start to creep its way from a casual interest that you could live without, to a Special Interest that will consume you if you don’t stop it?
#autism#autistic#asd#autistic culture#this is about perry mason#if i keep watching reruns every night on MeTV i will end up Interested (Autistic)#i can FEEL it like an impending doom#like i already caught myself reading up on Raymond Burr the other day and getting the neurodivergent urge to CONSUME INFORMATION#but i'm not done with The A-Team and i only have room in my autistic soul for ONE (1) major special interest at a time#the rest get put on hold so i can focus on consuming the New Thing like a starving beast#like they're always there but the PASSION lessens slightly#and i wanna keep my passion for the stupid goddamn A-Team a little longer 😭#i think the more i look at someone's face and i get used to their face#it's like they become a Safe Face#like autistic Safe Foods and stuff#and i just wanna keep seeing their face because it's Comforting#but like. i DON'T HAVE TIME TO CONSUME NINE (9) SEASONS OF A GODDAMN LAWYER SHOW#😭😭😭#my posts
