I've been getting a very... interesting bug on JP where Jamil says this one voice line every single day only upon me first opening the game, then it's impossible trigger it again for the rest of the day, nor does it exist in his lines in the album for this card. But he always says it again the next day, and again only when I first open the game.

My guess is that it's a groovy voice line that I'm not supposed to be able to hear yet, but it feels like wow Jamil's so excited he broke the game to tell me something 😭

Bar the peak double headed eagle standard about "who is to blame for the war", in a more serious setting I suppose we could have had some mentions about how the war is portrayed in Enbarr - what are the people there told about the War?

That it's a war to "free the world from the vile grasp of the fake goddess and her minions"? Is Doro actually aware that the war is perceived, by non-Enbarrites, as a war of conquest and the invasion of their own lands, with the only choices left to the people invaded being "kneel or die"?

I wrote a long time ago about Scipio in FE4 only thinking of Faval and Lester as his teacherous aunts' scions, and FE5 basically has Olwen having to realise that the child hunts exist, something that she was never taught/told back then in Granvalle.

Is VW's Doro similar to Scipio and/or an Olwen who never went through her development, or she knows what happens out there but still somehow believes Faerghus/Leicester/GM being ruined is a "sacrifice" that was needed to, uh, somehow, get rid of Sothis/the leaderless CoS ?

im so sorry im gonna yell about about kalim and jamil again bc it just hit me and this had been bothering me ever since i read book 4

kalim????? knew how basically "two-faced" jamil all along???? even before his overblot and all??? (sorry if this was obvious already and im just slow 🧍)

he is VERY emotionally intelligent so i was always confused how he never caught on to jamil being fake around him

i chalked it up to jamil just being incredibly good at lying

so when jade used his UM on kalim ;;; kalim KNEW it was jamil, he KNEW he was being hypnotized, but he outright REFUSED to out him to jade bc he cares about him so much

i was always waiting on how that part would be addressed later on but i don't think it was ever explicitly mentioned again???

anyways kalim knew deep down about jamil but on the outside, he is like "that can't be, he's my best friend! we knew each other our whole lives!! he would never do that to me" like i think he was in that state of denial, the possibility of the person he trusted the most betraying him

and i'm SO happy that during book 7 kalim finally realizes the power dynamic between them and finally calling jamil out on his bullshit
