I watched Ani BEFORE I was a star wars fan and loved it because I love starkid

Now that star wars has consumed my brain I’m scared for what this musical will do to me the next time I watch it

Bad Batchers, if you’re feeling a little sad today or even like you’re in a state of mourning, that’s totally normal!

For 14 weeks we looked forward to Wednesdays knowing we’d get to see our favorite characters again. Letting them into our living rooms or bedrooms for 30 minutes each week and watching their stories play out. We develop habits and patterns around the anticipation. It’s reminiscent to before streaming when for 20-22 weeks with a little break in the winter, you’d have your day and time set aside to watch your favorite show, maybe by yourself, maybe with friends or family or both. It was a weekly coming-together that let us put everything on pause for a bit. And yes, when those 20 weeks were up, it was normal to feel a little sad the next week when your favorites weren’t coming to visit your living room.

So I encourage you to embrace the sad because it means you found something that brings you a little sparkle in your life, gave you a little something to look forward to every week regardless of what else was going on. It’s a beautiful part of fandom. They’ll be back, we’ll see them again, and for now you can rewatch your favorite episodes whenever you’re missing them a little more

absolutely losing it at the polar opposite perspective we get on darth vader during rebels. kanan and ezra encounter him and there's a dramatic lead up to the cameo and they're like "who the FUCK is that???". they fight him and lose terribly. at least until they drop several tons of heavy machinery on him. but then he survives! and then they're like "if that won't kill him what can?!" "not us. let's go!". there's no drama, no extremely emotional dialogue, no agony over the man he used to be and the monster he became. just "hey what is that? a SITH LORD? that sounds like 1-800-NOT OUR PROBLEM!!!" and then they go back to doing whatever they normally do

Another star wars illustration for that one discord im in that obsesses over an ao3 series where Luke is hired to work on Vader’s ship and slowly de-corrupts Vader… but instead of turning him “good” he just sorta turns him feral. (Arguably, that is Anakin’s natural state.)
