Oh my god. Yes. I have one story and WOW is it weird.

So, in the early 90s, when TNG was dubbed for Germany, the actor they cast to voice Wesley made this choice (or was directed) to be obnoxiously whiny. Like, it could not have been more wrong for the character, and farther away from my performance. This person made Wesley a bratty, whiny, snotty kid. Like, WOW, did they fundamentally change how German audiences experienced this character.

I had no idea, because in the early 90s, the world was bigger than it is today. But I saw LOTS of letters and comments in magazines (and on Usenet) from Trekkies in Germany who fucking HATED Wesley with a firey passion that was even more intense than the way protoincels hated him in America. I didn't understand why, specifically in Germany, he was so despised.

Fast forward to ... I want to say 2011? Maybe 2012? Somewhere around there. I went to Germany for a convention. It was my first time ever visiting the country, and meeting lots of German fans all at once. And over the course of my first day, I began to hear stories from people who hated Wesley, until they heard him in English. In German, he was a whiny little punk, in English, he was ... well, you know who he was.

I wish I knew who made the choice to portray Wesley that way, and why, and why the mothership in Hollywood didn't intervene. I mean, he's just a profoundly different character in German.

I still haven't seen or heard the German dub. Last time I looked, I couldn't find it and I haven't looked again, since.

But now I wonder ... how many anime dubs did I watch over the years where the characters were totally different in English than they are in their original language?

No. 26 - Copa Airlines

Over this weekend, I had you all fill out a questionnaire. Now, every question that's on there was on there for a reason, but some of those reasons are a bit more straightforward than others.

This one, for example, was something I had already been using a survey for, and I figured using my followers would meet a higher standard of science than using my coworkers and a few discord chats. If anything, it is needlessly biased in favor of the airline in question, since my followers include many Airplane People. And boy do the results speak volumes.

I removed the wordmark from this picture of an airplane and asked you all what airline she flies for. (Let's pretend the title of this post doesn't spoil the answer.) The answers were overwhelmingly consistent.

32 out of 77 responses, a stunning 45%, identified this plane as flying for United Airlines.

I mean, not hard to understand why. The only things that are different are a slightly darker shade of blue, minor tweaks to the logo on the tail, and the easy-to-miss detail that the mystery plane is registered in Panama. (In fact, the only way to recognize what airline it flies for, in my own opinion, is that the airline's ICAO code is in the registration. Again, not something the average person would spot, or indeed should be expected to.)

The second most common response was either not responding, or saying that you don't know. (Actually, a lot of people expressed unsureness, but these people outright refused to guess.) The third most common response was AT&T. The phone company. In a similar vein, another respondent guessed Euronews, the news show.

Then we have four people who guessed Continental.

This is completely reasonable, since their livery is just the old United livery - rather, United's old livery is stolen from Continental during their merger. I get the sense that the difference between people who immediately assume United and people who immediately assume Continental is whether they were over or under a certain age in 2012.

A handful of other specific airlines were guessed. I'm not going to touch on all of them, including the ones I've already reviewed - I'll just leave a little collage of the miscellaneous guesses.

Okay. So the answer is obviously that this is, as it says in the title, Copa Airlines.

Three people actually guessed this correctly, and two of them live in Latin America. Copa (Compañía Panameña de Aviación) is the flag carrier of Panama and one of the largest carriers in Latin America. I find Copa's livery to be almost powerful in how tragic it is. It wasn't always like this.

Back in the day Copa had its own livery, its own branding. And I'm not going to linger on the fact that these are Iberia colors, because a lot of airlines use similar colors but this says COPA on it in huge text in two places.

This might seem like a weird case of self-sabotaging plagiarism, but it actually came about in a way I find far worse. Copa and Continental had a marketing alliance, with Continental having a 49% stake in the company until 1999, when it was increased to 51%. Immediately, Copa, in addition to partnering with Continental, began to use the same frequent flier program and - what I care about - the same livery.

I don't even have it in me to care about how the livery is boring and the font is ugly, how it's a far worse version of it than what Continental and then United wore. That is like seeing a corpse and being disturbed that it has a bad haircut. This airline is wearing a livery almost universally recognized to be that of a different airline. What is even the point of painting your planes with your name if you care this little about having an identity? You might as well be operating as United Express.

The worst thing is that United has changed their livery now. They don't have a majority stake in Copa, and haven't for well over a decade. Copa has its own fleet, its own routes, its own holding company, its own frequent flyer program, its own history, its own name. So why is it still wearing a livery that was never its own to begin with?

Maybe they don't want to commit fully to the retro look. But there is so much room in the world for this vibrant color scheme, this large legible wordmark, and this adorable little airplane underline logo. If only they hadn't committed to having planes that, if identifiable, are identifiable as a completely different airline.

And that makes me angry. That defeats the entire point. It makes me feel a potent mix of disgust and pity. This is an empty, broken thing. Not even a husk. A little shriveled creature inside of a very large, empty, cold jar. Any life would be better than this, if it could just be alive again.

I have opinions on its overall appearance, sure. And I am not factoring them into this final rating. You copy Continental's homework and change it a bit, you get failed for plagiarism.

Just...you're allowed to do more than breathing. You've had Continental's livery for decades. At any moment, you could say 'no more', and you could decide that you care about being Copa Airlines. I really hope you do that soon.

Battle in the Valley preview

This show is happening in San Jose, California. So while most New Japan shows air in the middle of the night in the Americas, this one starts at 9:20pm EST.

To get English commentary, you'll need to order it on Fite for $19.99. You can watch on NJPW World, but you'll have to pay about $22.30 on top of the usual monthly subscription fee, and it'll only be Japanese commentary. I don't get why they make it so complicated, but I've given up asking those kinds of questions about this company.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi - Okada is defending the IWGP world heavyweight title, and Tana is his hand-picked challenger. It's always a special occasion when these two square off, so I'm a little surprised they gave this match away on a show that sold out weeks ago, and was already guaranteed to sell PPV buys off the other main event.

Tanahashi was The Man in NJPW until Okada defeated him in 2012, kicking off a historic rivalry. In their fifteen one-on-one encounters, Okada leads the series 7-5 with three 30-minute draws. But frankly, there's not much left to say about this series, and almost no chance Okada will lose, and this shouldn't be headlining the show.

KAIRI vs. Mercedes Mone - Kairi is defending the IWGP women's championship in Mone's first match with the promotion. Mone, formerly Sasha Banks, debuted with New Japan on January 4 to attack Kairi and challenge her for the belt. With all due respect to Okada and Tanahashi, this is the real main event.

Mone has been under the microscope ever since she walked out of WWE in May 2022. Her first appearance in NJPW was heavily scrutinized, and there's still a ton of speculation about whether she'll stick around or go back to WWE or show up in other promotions. Everyone is waiting to find out her next move, and everyone is watching closely to see if she'll succeed or fail.

Fans who were somehow preoccupied with the size of Mone's pop at the Tokyo Dome are going to be even more confused by this show, in a dinky 3000-seat arena. You'll have to make peace with the face that Mercedes doesn't need to be immersed in the WWE big-stage experience as much as some of her fans need her to be. If you can handle that, you'll have a good time.

My hunch is that Mercedes will win the title here and go on to defend it at STARDOM's big Yokohama Arena show on April 23. The only question in my mind is whether Kairi can prove she's not an afterthought in her own title defense, and make anyone believe she's got a chance to retain.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Clark Connors - This is for Sabre's NJPW World television title, so the match will have a fifteen-minute time limit. Sabre wants to face fresh young competitors; Connors, who was a young boy just a couple of years ago, is stepping up. I'm not expecting Connors to seriously threaten Sabre's title reign. This will mostly be about seeing him put up a valiant fight before Sabre out-wrestles him.

Tom Lawlor vs. Homicide - This is billed as a "filfthy rules" match--no count-outs, no disqualifications, no rope breaks, and no ring ropes at all for that matter. It's a plain old fight between two bitter rivals who've been feuding for months. All you really need to know is that Homicide keeps trying to stab Lawlor with a fork, and this time it's perfectly legal. I'm expecting Lawlor to win, but I haven't been following the weekly STRONG shows so I wouldn't have a clue where the story is headed.

Jay White vs. Eddie Kingston - A couple of days ago, on Wrestling Observer Live of all places, these two agreed that the loser of this match must leave NJPW. White is already reeling from a huge defeat in a "loser leaves Japan" match last week, which exiled him from NJPW's home territory. If he wins, he can try to rebuild in the US by dominating the STRONG brand, but it's hard to believe that's the long-term plan here. It's also hard to believe AEW regular Eddie is going to be barred from working for AEW's top partner. So it's feeling more and more like Jay is finishing up on his way to WWE.

Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley vs. Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs - The West Coast Wrecking Crew (Nelson and Isaacs) are challenging for the STRONG tag team title on the line. Sabin and Shelley (the Motor City Machine Guns) are also the Impact men's tag team champions, but those belts aren't at stake here. I don't think it makes much difference who wins here, so I'll flip a coin and go with the Machine Guns.

Fred Rosser vs. KENTA - Rosser is the STRONG openweight champion, which is supposed to be the top title on this brand. But he's in the second match of the main show and his challenger got beat by Hiroshi Tanahashi last week. To make matters worse, I don't think anyone buys Rosser as being in Kenta's league. Fred needs a big win to change that perception, but I don't think he's getting it tonight.

Josh Alexander & Rocky Romero & Adrian Quest & Mascara Dorada vs. KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight & The DKC & Volador Jr. - Alexander is the Impact men's world champion. Rocky is pretty much the point man for New Japan's American business. Kushida and Knight have been working in Impact lately. The other four guys are basically undercard guys on the weekly STRONG show. I'm thinking Alexander's team should win, unless Kushida is getting a title shot soon.

David Finlay vs. Bobby Fish - This is scheduled for the pre-show. If you're an NXT or AEW fan wondering why Fish fell off the face of the earth, well, now you know where he's been. I'm more of a Finlay guy, so I've been wondering why he fell of the face of the Earth after getting a decent push over in Japan last year. I guess the winner gets to crawl back out of obscurity. That's probably good news for Finlay, not Fish.

Alex Coughlin vs. JR Kratos - Another pre-show match. Coughlin graduated from being a young boy when he defeated Kratos in December 2021. Which, um, doesn't seem to mean much considering both guys are working in the pre-show opener, but oh well. I assume Coughlin wins.

Idk why, but I feel like talking about my own personal tmnt au. It doesn't really have a name (actually it has two different ones that I might just combine). It's a mix of 2012 tmnt and rottmnt, at least with the characters, that I came up with a while back but haven't thought too much on. I made a Google doc on it so I'm just going to copy and paste everything that's on it.

Name ideas: Reborn, New Chance

This au is sorta a mashup of 2012 TMNT and rottmnt, mostly taking the yokai and being biologically related to Hamato Yoshi idea with a twist.

So it's basically that the boys are Hamato Yoshi's biological sons that were killed in a fire only to be reborn as yokai turtles.

How it all started out(wip):

Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi were raised as brothers in the Hamato Clan. As the two grew, Yoshi showed no interest in taking over the clan while Saki did his best to prove that he's worthy enough to take over the clan. Yet Yoshi, much to his and Saki's dismay, was made the new leader of the Hamato clan. Yoshi tried reasoning with his father, who had made the decision, to give the role to Saki since he deserved it more than him. His father said that was exactly why he gave it to Yoshi, so he'd learn that sometimes you have to do things you're not ready for but Yoshi didn't understand this. However Yoshi and Saki couldn't go against the word of their father until his passing, but Saki believed that Yoshi wouldn't go against their father's word after his death. This became true when Yoshi fell in love with Tang Shen and had four sons. Saki slowly grew angry as he believed he could never become the leader that the clan needed. This fueled him to come up with a plan to kidnap Yoshi's wife and sons and keep them captive until Yoshi gave up his title as clan leader to him, but things didn't go according to plan. Saki enlisted the help of the foot soldiers of the Hamato Clan to help with his plan, but one of the foot soldiers killed Shen which was not what Saki wanted. Out of anger for losing his brother's wife, he killed the soldier and made it clear to the others that the boys were to be brought to him alive. Before that could happen Yoshi returned home to see his wife and foot soldier dead at Oroku Saki's feet. Saki was about to explain everything when he saw the look on his brother's face, but Yoshi's home burst into flames. Both men were surprised, Yoshi tried to rush in to save his son's, but was stopped by some foot soldiers so Saki rushed in to save his nephews. The fire made it difficult to find the boys until he heard their cries for help. He made his way to them to rescue them, but as soon as he reached them he couldn't escape with them. The five of them were trapped and Saki hoped, prayed to the Hamato Clan ancestors to allow the boys to be reborn so they could have a chance at a life as the five of them died. His wish was granted, but Oroku Saki would be forced to be a wandering spirit in return.

The boys were reborn as four turtles that had been found by Hamato Yoshi when he left Japan and the Hamato Clan and went to New York in America. The turtles were tiny tots when Yoshi found them, more like he saved them from becoming Baron Draxum's warriors but as a result gets mutagen dumped onto him and the turtles, making the five of them yokais/mutants (basically what happens in rottmnt). Yoshi fled, after saving the turtles as the mutagen turned him into a rat, to the sewers of New York. There in the sewers Yoshi raised the turtles, taking on the name of Splinter while naming the four turtles after his late sons. He taught them everything he knows, but kept his past a secret from the boys.

So yeah that's what I have. It's not the best and most likely needs some reworking, but that's what it's like at the moment. I definitely need to work on the whole Yoshi becomes Splinter and gets the turtles, but I'll do that at a later date.

Yes the turtles are close to not being teens, but I wanted to go for them being older and still acting like kids since they still technically are (even though Leo is technically a legal adult, he still acts like a teen). Also Raph and Donnie are twins because I thought it'd be a cool duo to be twins. Especially since their personalities are both combinations of sweethearts and teens that aren't the best at expressing emotions.

Seeing how I haven't really been giving Nina love I figure she be the next one for the meme. Dunno if im doing all the oc's first atm I might do a few other muses first? well see how I feel XD

but yeah lets give Nina some attention since I have been neglecting her as of late. By the oc muses used on this blog she is my oldest muse I made her uh roughly back in 2011-2012 ish. She was the last oc I made when I still a kid. Cause I was a senior in Highschool at this time.

✍ Favorite thing about writing the muse?

Personally, as someone who just really enjoy's hero characters who started off as an underdog. Captain America, Spider-Man. And hero's that tend to instill hope into people as well? Like Nightwing. It's what I wanted Nina to be.

She's a girl that girl that grew up in a poor area, the kind of schools with metal detectors, no funding, kids fighting having behaviorist. Nina herself was a kid left in the foster system by her father. She already held no respect for bullies and often got into fights trying to defend others. Because she was always inspired by Captian America.

Her sense for sticking to that no matter her own situation always what I liked best about her.

👀Favorite thing about the muse’s appearance?

Gonna get a bit personal here, growing up I didn't often get characters that look like me. Heck Princess Jasmine was my favorite (still is) Disney Princess because she was brown like me. Sadly the way the world is? A women with dark skin, and curly dark hair wasn't seen as being 'pretty'

I grew up being made to feel long straight light hair was pretty. I never bleached my hair mind you but I did used to straighten it all the time. Cause I was told it was 'nicer' looking when straight.

Nina originally had straight brown hair. When I went to redesign her I decided to make it short and curly. Funny enough it's kind of why I went and cut my own hair and stopped straighten it as well. I also feel the curly locks just fit her better for her personality

🌌Favorite alternate version of the muse?

XD I've never talked about it on here but when the whole craze of making Spidersonas. I made a Nina Spiderman character XD

i fleshed it out more when the second movie came out what with the whole 'cannon' event stuff getting brought up and what not. So this version of Nina got spider powers well being at Stark industries for a field trip instead of being a test subject of the super solider serum. She starts trying to be a hero and Steve can just tell this is a young untrained person so one days he approaches her and takes her under his wing so to speak. This is why Nina's spider hero name becomes the Star Spider. And because of the cannon events Steve dies uwu Jay Walker becomes the new Captain America. And Nina's seen as a public menace as is Spider-mans' cruse because she's actively against him And to add MORE pain so dose Autumn Nina's girlfriend who basically her Gwen Stacy. XD Im glossing over a lot of stuff here but I don't wanna make this bit to long XD

XD Funny enough I have Shipped Nina with other characters some mentioned will clear be from a time before I made her a Lesbian. I had her date: Peter Parker, Elijah Bradley, Kate Bishop, America Chavez. Why mention these here? cause I liked them not hate them personally XD And I find it funny that ofc i paired Nina with two other characters that also had an America theming. XD In truth I would say out of her old ships her and Kate Bishop (new hawkeye) was my more favorite one since both their mentors were on the OG Avengers team so Nina and Kate being part of the Young Avengers but of course, you know Nina's end game girl is Autumn uwu I think there is something to say about a girl who always wanted to be a hero ending up with someone who isn't involved in that world at all. Just this school teacher Nina met in her college days and fell so hard for. Autumn is someone who gives Nina that support she doesn't fully get from her family not that they dont supoort her its the Rogers of course they support her. But they don't really see Nina's own short comings or struggles like Autumn dose. When she's with Autumn she's just Nina not an Avenger. They take Cooper for walks in the park together. They relax on thier couch with Copper and their cat Jesper. Nina often helps out Autumn out with her class. It's the time Nina isn't being associated with being a hero. In that sense.

Being with Autumn just makes Nina feel whole in a different way and seeing how Nina kind of found Autumn after losing her arm? Something Something symbolism uwu XD i just don't often get to talk about this aspect of Nina's life

I wouldn't say there is like a specific person in Nina's past it's just not really ever been a big part of her story. I have mentioned before that her dating history had a few people who didn't love Nina for all she was. Either her super heroing cause of fear or annoyance. Nina's personality itself. That for someone who wants to do what is right has no respect for those who oppose their will and feels she can teach those people a lesson by beating them down. This girl does not think ahead like at all. she is very much someone to rush in, ask questions never and fully allow her emotions to control her. And well it's all from a good place it's still what gets Nina or others that she cares for into bad situations.

😈Worst thing you’ve ever done to your muse?

For sure taking her arm away. Nina being the act first person she is really needed to learn to think and sure when she lost her arm it was in the middle of a huge chaotic mess and not cause she charged in. But it was sort of a lesson that Nina can't always strong arm, pun intended, her way out of situations. Nina can be a bit of a muscles head so to speak. She kind of learned that being strong physically isn't enough.

😂Funniest thing that’s ever happened to your muse?

hmmm Brooklyn learning that Nina isn't Nina's first name, I mean it is but her full name is Valentina Sarah Rogers, Nina is just taken from Valentina cause well Nina doesn't. But Brooklyn taking it such a big reveal as if Nina was like lying this whole time when in truth she didn't ever see a need to mention it XD And was more shocked Brook only noticed when looking at a photo taken at Nina's college. When Brook has been to some many places that dose use Nina's full legal name since Nina doesn't do the whole secret identity thing herself.

It turned into Brooklyn acting betrayed to Nina's basically calling her sister slow and stupid XD Also I like that Nina implies only Steve calls her by her full name and it's only when she is in real trouble.

💡 What inspires you to write the muse?

hmm im not too sure? I generally love Nina and how making her and older sister sort of shaped her a lot. XD I guess my favorite thing to write about her and inspires me in addition to the question earlier.

This is likely still my favorite thing about her, when first made Nina was an only child till me and Kezzie became friends and started to make oc stories together. I just feel Brook's addtion to Nina's life brings out this softer side to Nina that I never explored before. Nina is quick to jump to Brook's aid and side no matter what even from the start she did as such. She sung lullbies to her sister and I feel is generally Brook's friend not just her sister. She has more trust in what Brook can do than Brook herself dose. And its honestly one of my favorite things to write about her and brook ;3;

not something ever written here BUT I would say when Steve and Nina started to bond and develop their father daughter relationship. Steve, never turned away from Nina or turned Nina away she was never too much for him even when she was dealing with a lot of her anger Steve found a way to build trust with Nina. Nina felt like someone was actually going to be there for her. And she pays this forward later when Brooklyn comes in to the picture.

Nina went from admiring Steve to truly living by what he stood by. And I feel this is what shapes her to be a good legacy of Steve.

When Nina isn't doing Avenger stuff she helps out in her old neighbors youth center, named after Steve.

Nina has to put spice on everything she eats or she says it is bland as fuck, she got a good spice tolerance.

She gets kid tickets for Brooklyn where ever they go that requires ticket buying cause no one questions Brooky being a child once they see her XD

I like to think Nina will be the one to start up the young Avengers being the leader of the team. Looking how MCU setting up a few members are college age so it works. It'll be like her start of making a name for herself as a hero and such. I can see her consulting with Steve lot when she struggles with leading and such Tony as well. looking at Kezzie answers for Brook I feel when she steps away from the team works for this transition to happen for Nina. Nina and Autumn will get married at some point no kids but they are more pet parents anyway.

Nina always finds time to visit Brooklyn on her farm and brings Coop along with so he can chill with Boof. It makes her happy to see brook living a life she wants. Though she can't help but wonder if she was wrong all those years ago when her and Astrid sort of fought about that same thing.

hmmm I dunno if I have one to be honest? I guess if I needed to think of one it be that Nina doesn't know how to give up. I would more say the opposite is true. Nina doesn't know how to give up she has done it alot in her life mainly giving up on herself. Nina knows how to get knocked down over and over again but finding it in herself to get back up. Her licks were all taken mentally but like Steve she can do this all day.

I would say it was when she first met brook, which was a commission writing piece Kezzie did for me XD BUT STILL I just like that Brooklyn this girl who never known anything of the world put her trust in Steve ends up getting locked up for the crime of being made by Hyrda u-u only for Nina to sneak in and speak to this girl. It may come off as Nina being cautious but it was more her being curious about what was going on. I think its a nice moment not only for a full circle thing of Nina trusting Brook and freeing her and standing up for Brook to the rest of the team. but I feel it really just shows the whole building blocks of them being sisters. Nina, literally willing to risk anything and bet it all on Brook. She has always done this from the start.

I guess currently it would be just writing her at all ^^;;; which isn't anything against anything at all I'm just dealing with some burn out with Marvel stuff in that I miss how the movies were before post-Endgame Phases XD I just need to work through that honestly.

Uhhhh hi I haven't been on animalblr in years but I wanted to ask advice from an educated unbiased source. The Columbus zoo, my home zoo that I go to once a week in the summer, recently lost their AZA accreditation. And for years I always heard that any zoo without AZA accreditation was bad. But now? Like from all I've seen they lost it for the financial shit of last year, not for animal care? Idk I guess I just want opinions on if it's still okay to go to since I've always seen top animal care from it?

Short answer: the loss of accreditation was mainly a political thing with a whole heaping pile of industry drama thrown into it. According to public statements by AZA, loss of accreditation was due in part to the embezzlement/misuse of resources by Stalf and Bell, and also to issues with ambassador animal sourcing and use by Jack Hanna's team. There's a whole hell of a lot that could be unpacked about that latter bit, but basically, no, it wasn't based on issues with general animal welfare practices at the entire facility. I've got friends in the field who still visit colleagues at Columbus and speak positively about the care the animals get, so I would say you're fine to go and not worry about it.

You will likely see Columbus become accredited by the Zoological Association of America shortly, which will also be a political decision and not necessarily anything to do with a change in operations or ethos or care standards. Ohio passed a law - the Dangerous Wild Animals Act - in 2012 that prohibits possession of a wide variety of large / dangerous species; exemptions exist for a number of types of entities, including facilities accredited by AZA or ZAA. When Columbus lost their AZA accreditation my first question was what would happen to those species (bears, elephants, hippos, large crocodilians, big cats, non-human primates other than lemurs). It turns out that as long as the zoo was in the middle of a good-faith effort to be accredited they were covered, as far as I know that ended when the appeal failed - I don't think they can say that trying again to get AZA accreditation by starting the process over next year counts. So you may see a ZAA accreditation spun by the media or anti-zoo entities as 'Columbus lowering their standards' or something because all of this is drama forever, but I think that's what they'd have to do at this point to be in compliance with the law and keep the majority of their animals. (And there's literally nowhere for that many large, dangerous animals to go within the industry. Welfare aside, you just... can't dissolve a collection like that easily.)

Sometimes, being on an outside mission brought to the experience some wonderful things, today was being able to experience a full bright moon and a sky full of stars outside the well-hidden safe house of stark industries. The one that was in the middle of a forest, erased from maps and without any written directions. Only a few people had access to this location, between them were Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, and Sargent James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. And now, you.

And you loved the view and the forest. Since you were a child you had been in love with the stars, when you first met Tony way back on New York 2012 the first thing that you asked him was how was the space and the stars above, so being there was like going to a planetarium to see the fake sky with the constellations but one hundred million times better. But you were not fully at peace, and it didn't make you as happy as you wanted to be underneath the sky. The mission did not go as planned and that triggered an ugly discussion between you and James.

*—You could have died out there! how many times do I have to tell you; your fucking metal arm doesn't mind shit if they shoot at you! you are not blinded for goodness's sake! —You were at full blown out, that was the fifth time in a row that James was injured, the fifth time in a row that you saw how they shouted at him without being able to do shit because he thought that he was invincible. And you were fucking done with it.

—How many times I have to tell you that I'm fine with this! You don't have to defend me or put yourself at risk for trying to help me, I'm a super soldier or you forgot about that? You have been forgetting everything lately, haven't you? Like putting your god-damned protection suit? You want to yell at me because I took a few shots? Fine, but don't be a fucking hypocrite and tell me to worry about myself when you went out to the field without your suit! maybe if you did, I wouldn't have the need of putting me between you and a fucking bullet!

— It was one fucking time!! It is the fifth time that you have done this shit! don't put the fucking blame on me! —You couldn't keep doing that, you were tired of seeing him getting hurt, because every time that you have seen him getting shot you have felt how the world had stopped, the terrifying sound of his body dropping to the floor and the smell of gunpowder and blood flooding your nostrils. It left you breathless with a scream trapped in your throat unable to get out and a burning sting in your heart. And five times in a row, in less than a year is too much. You were going to go nuts.

—Ok you two cut it out already, we really need to rest and if we are going to be here at least a couple of days to fully recover I don't want this to keep happening so please buck, Y/N, cut it out. —Sam was tired of this too, he was such a sweetheart all the time and always wanted the best to you and to Bucky because you were friends but all of this situation was driving him crazy, because he knew that you both were in the right but he also knew that you were also tired and burned out from the stress of the last missions, so he did not want to be dragged in the middle of the fight. It was time to let you and buck solve your problems on your own. Besides that, he wanted peace for the day, and you two screaming at each other were not going to give him the peace that he needed.

—You know what? I'm done! I do not care if you get shot and died because you don't seem to care about that either, so don't worry about me! ***

That was all, you left the safe house and went out, and there you were, underneath the sky full of stars watching them glistening in the distance, trying your best not to cry out of anger and thinking that this time, things went too far between you and him. You could not understand why it was so hard for him to see that you were dying on the inside every time that he got hurt. You were mad at him, but also you were mad about yourself, because you crossed the line that you should have never crossed. You develop romantic feelings for him, it could had been Sam, he was charming and you and him get along too well but no, you develop romantic feelings toward the snarky, idiotic, sarcastic and anger issued Bucky. Not only because he looked good as hell always, but mainly because he was tender, secretly caring and loving towards Sam and you, he had your back every time something went wrong in your head, and he wiped your tears after your beloved cat died in your arms due to his advanced age. And on the outside, he was all rough and serious, seeing him upset sometimes stirred up your heart and made you wonder if in bed he was like that, rough and commanding. But all those thoughts didn't matter now, you needed to keep it professional, and he clearly doesn't want you near after the fight.

What you did not know was that inside the house Sam and Bucky were talking about you while making some coffee.

—I know, she crossed the line by saying that but dude, she was scared as fuck. You behave like you're fucking immortal buck, and I get it you are a super soldier and shit but that doesn't mean that you are immortal, ok?

—She was being irresponsible! She was without her suit, and you know that between the two of us she is the one that is going to be worse if shot. She was right I don't care if I die at this point but if something happens to her I'm...I'm not going to be able to forgive myself, she is wonderful and I know that she works very hard and that she has the skills but when I see someone aiming a gun at him I lose it every fucking time...protection suit or not just seen her in danger makes my blood boil. She does not deserve anything of this, I know that she is skilled, but she doesn't deserve to live like this, getting at risk everyday...

—So, dude you really like her —Sam knew that it was wrong to laugh at the topic, but Bucky was there fully confessing that he does not care at all for him but if something happens to her the story changes. He knew about Bucky feelings, maybe he knew even before Bucky realized that he was feeling a lot more than friendship towards her.

—What? Don't say that...she is just nice and I ...ah...you are going to mess with me for this all day, aren't you? ...­Yeah, Sam, I like her, but that doesn't mean that she likes me ok? and I don't want to make things weird between us...plus she must be angry as fuck with me.

—You should tell her. Drop the fucking act and tell her, what is the worst that can happen?

There was no need for him to get involved in your business, sadly for him, how could he not be involved? You were in the middle of an abandoned mansion where the three of you were hiding, with a little cupcake with a candle on top because Sam made a huge scandal about you not celebrating your birthday. Even when they were all dirty and tired, they sung happy birthday to you, with the candlelight up shining in the middle of the night, reflecting its warm yellow and orange flame in the icy blue of Bucky's eyes

—Happy birthday dear doll...happy birthday to you.... —And then you saw it, the glow reflecting in his eyes, his plump lips a little bit chapped but tempting, the way that his tongue darted out to lick his lower lip when he notices that you were looking at them, the way that his smell can penetrate your nostrils, the proximity between your bodies —Make a wish...

—Not that one you dirty girl! —Sam joked, and you laugh before taking a minute to think, and then it completely hit you, you wanted Bucky, being with Bucky, kiss Bucky, hug him feeling him between your legs and worship him like the god he was.

And that made you freak out. Because you were not supposed to like him, you were not supposed to fall for him because he was your teammate and also your friend, that was not supposed to happen and there you were, falling for him. After the birthday, and after the three of you returned to the compound and took some rest, you went up with Sam to tell him everything.

—Sam, I think that I like him...—You sounded guilty, you knew that it was a bad idea falling for the Greek god that you have as partner in missions, he was an asshole and could be mean and an idiot but seeing him like that while he was signing happy birthday. —Please don't say anything, I know that he doesn't feel the same and I don't want to ruin our friendship like that, I know that I'm not his type and I don't want to keep false hopes about all of this nonsense and hurting him or us as a team...I'm going to find a way to deal with this so please, please don't tell him."***

And Samuel Wilson keeps his promises, even when he believes that you are full of bullshit and even when he knew that Bucky felt the same about you, because this was something that both of you need to work out by yourselves and because he is a really nice guy and a really good friend. And now he is being dragged into this whole mess because he keeps his promises.

—I’m sure that she is going to understand, you should try that one, but first...—He grabbed a blanket from the couch and handed it to James— She is going to freeze out there, and you two need to talk, give her this...

Your heart was pounding like the motor of Bucky's motorcycle, fast and furious. You did not knew how to answer and kept blinking quietly while staring at him. He noticed that and tried to get up and leave, and almost by instinct you grabbed his hand and pulled him towards you.

There was no need for words, your lips touched and for a small moment you thought that you were going to have a cardiac arrest just by kissing him. He was stunned too at first, but he lost any doubt and put his hand behind your neck pulling you closer to him, it was hesitant at first but slowly it turned into a full deep kiss. It was like the two of you were starving for each other. His hands left your neck and traveled to your face, cupping it between his long fingers and caressing your cheeks. It was magical, it felt warm and dreamy, like it was meant to be. And for him it was.

After what it felt like ages you broke the kiss and looked at him, gasping a bit for air.

Ok now DO YOU NOTICE ANYTHING REALLY STUPID ABOUT THIS, BECAUSE I DO

FE1 Released only seven months prior to the release of the next big console. Seven months is enough time that this isn't necessarily a death sentence, though.

FE2 released TWO. YEARS. AFTER. THE SNES. FOR THE NES.

FE3 was actually in a good spot. It released for the most recent console I can't believe that even needed to be said before that console was made irrelevant. I know it also included the entire contents of FE1, which probably made the purchase of a sequel released for a completely different console a lot more appealing and did good things for its sales, so kudos to them

FE4 then released only two months before the next Nintendo console was set to release. At least it came out before, but... JFC my dude, you're cutting it really close, and it probably killed momentum. Usually people don't buy games that close to the release of a new console, since they're saving up for the next thing or planning on selling their previous consoles/games to buy the next thing. Not to mention all the marketing for your game gets lost (or squashed) in the hype.

FE5 then released THREE. THREE YEARS. AFTER THE N64 WAS ON THE MARKET. THREE YEARS. AN SNES TITLE CAME OUT THREE YEARS AFTER THE N64 DID.

FE6 and FE7 once again fell into a pretty good spot, being GBA titles at a time when the GBA was current, and not too close to the release of the next big console.

FE8 in a bit of a tight spot, coming out only one month before the DS. Though I think it was probably less impacted than FE4 because the DS was backwards compatible with GBA games, so it wouldn't have been completely overshadowed by the DS's release.

FE9 is alright. FE9 was not the problem with the Tellius duology. It got kind of a raw deal, coming out on a notoriously underperforming Nintendo home console, but it was a well placed title.

No, the issue with the Tellius duology is FE10. Because. When you have a game for a niche series which already released on a notoriously underperforming console, then the absolute last thing you want to do is create a direct sequel to the game very few people played, which requires you to have played the first game, and offers incentives if you have. That's a great way to make sure NO ONE buys FE10. AGAIN, it came out at a good time, on a good console, and I'm not saying it would have sold amazingly if it hadn't been tied to FE9, but I have a feeling it would have sold much better.

FE11 and FE12 are, again, fine... The issue with them is that they're a remake, and remakes never sell as well as non-remakes, and that's not really the kind of thing you want to do coming off of a poor selling set of games prior. Also, FE3 had previously combined the contents of FE1 and FE3. Now the devs are selling them both again, this time separately. People don't exactly like that. This was also the point where they included some controversial features, like changing the story to add Kris and the removal of permadeath. Not exactly great to be upsetting your fanbase when you're still reeling from the last two entries' poor sales.

FE13. The stars literally aligned and there must have been some divine intervention from god to save this series, because they never tripped into being this lucky this hard before. Not only did it release on a current console (I still can't believe that's such an accomplishment for this series), it basically held 3DS owners captive since it was the only thing worth playing for a gooood long stretch of the 3DS's early life.

FE14, another well timed entry. I won't say that the three games approach was the best idea from a marketing approach, but they also weren't punished for it. Turns out people are willing to put up with your janky marketing practices when they're actually aware your series exists lmao

FE15 and we hit another rough patch, because it released two months after the Switch. For the 3DS. Why do people still wonder why this game sold so poorly, again?

Like it really seems like IS just makes a string of godawful decisions about their games, then accidentally trips into doing something correctly which perpetuates the series for another few entries before it inevitably falls into another string of bad decisions.

hey! Just watched Players, and was interested in hearing more of your thoughts on it--in what respects you found it hewed true to your own research/experience. I've never engaged with eSports, but Players' depiction of "online masculinity" more broadly was very compelling to me, and reminded me of Jay from CQ, albeit with a more balanced/positive slant. I think that sincerity/positivity hurt the show by preventing it from exploring racism/sexism in gaming culture; you catch glimmers of it, particularly in the internet's reaction to Nightfall's replacement of Guru, but the show goes out of its way to avoid couching it in those terms, presumably to show eSports in a more sympathetic light. Race and gender are common themes in your stories; do you think you would have placed more of a focus on them? Also, have you seen American Vandal? That show's first season was memorable to me for its dissonant ending, which placed all that preceded in a new light; Players has a more understated version of the same, in which Organizm's inhuman, unhinged voicemail is shown to have perfectly predicted Creamcheese's feelings, thus humanizing it in retrospect--only for Organizm to reject this, sacrificing everything in pursuit of impossuble perfection. Many of the show's characters are embodiments of some skill/archetype, and it asks what exactly separates these paragons from ordinary people--which I felt closely matched your own style of characterisation. Thanks for your time!

I'll preface this by saying that I haven't actually seen Players. I just know about it, since it was heavily advertised on the LCS stream when it came out. I'll mention a fun fact though: Nightfall's actor is actually an ex-LCS pro named Youngbin, a Korean-American who once played for Team Liquid. As I understand it, the show also has cameos from many other real pros and esports personalities.

I can speak about some of the topics you brought up, though. First up, racism in the esports scene. This was one of the major topics I wanted to cover in my planned esports story. In particular, I wanted to use the story as a vehicle to challenge the idea of American exceptionalism. In League of Legends, the North American region is a distant fourth best, behind Korea, China, and Europe. In the early days of the scene it was possible to chalk this discrepancy up to infrastructure, especially when it came to Korea; having already developed a sophisticated esports scene due to StarCraft, Korea had an organizational and coaching edge over the rest of the world from about 2012, when the game first took off in Korea, to 2017, when big money investors in the other three regions were injecting huge cashflows into teams. This was an era of Korean dominance, where Korean teams won almost every time. To catch up, the other three regions would import Korean players to their regions as much as possible (since 2015 there have been rules in place to limit imports to 2 per 5-man team), and the only region to ever really catch up to Korea is China, which combined high-money importing of top Korean pros with the gargantuan Chinese server population (China loves League of Legends, it's like the national sport) to finally start winning some tournaments.

North America has consistently lagged behind even China and Europe, an issue mainly related to low server population and poor American internet infrastructure, which forces most prospective NA players to learn and practice the game on much higher ping than pros in any of the other major regions. On top of NA being bad, NA is consistently buoyed by high-profile import players, as opposed to "native" North American players. Actual American and Canadian players often take up filler role player positions around imported Korean and European stars, which has led to a general fact of life that Americans are simply not that good at the game compared to the competition. This is in spite of the fact that League of Legends is an American game made by an American company. It's a joke in traditional sports that Americans are only the best at sports they made, but in League, Americans aren't even that. I wanted to center my story around an American role player in a more supportive position like top, who would have to grapple with the fact that despite being in the top 1% of the top 1% of the top 1% of players, he was simply not good enough to matter beyond that.

Racism in the esports scene is an odd issue, because it's less "racism" and more "regionalism"--or xenophobia. This is due to the league format of professional League of Legends, in which regional leagues (Korea, China, Europe, and NA) feed into a major international Worlds cup. In a sports scene where teams are not tied to specific cities the way they are in traditional sports, this regionalism is often what drives fans to support certain teams, what causes people to root for a team that feels like "theirs." This makes the fan ecosystem closer to the way people root for teams or players at the Olympics or the World Cup, instead of what it's like in the NFL, NBA, etc. Where things get complicated in terms of League is that unlike the Olympics or World Cup, teams from a region are allowed to field players from other regions to represent them. In North America, as I mentioned, this issue is exacerbated because not only are North American teams bad, they're bad often without even being quote-unquote "North American." I mentioned before that there is an import rule that ostensibly ensures every team is 3/5ths comprised of native players. However, due to a variety of loopholes and also the United States' significantly more lenient legal residency and immigration restrictions compared to China, there are many players who were imported to NA solely to play League of Legends who are now technically counted as non-imports. At the most recent Worlds, NA sent three teams, and of the 15 players on those teams, only 3 were "native North Americans," the rest either being imports or former imports who got green cards, making them legally residents. One team was comprised entirely of imports or former imports. Meanwhile, other regions are represented by teams that have a majority of "native" players. So the fan ecosystem is designed around supporting "your region," but NA is in the unique position where "your region" is majority comprised of players from "another region." Hence the point of soreness.

The racism question gets further complicated by the racial makeup of "native" North American players, which heavily slants toward Asian-Americans/Asian-Canadians. Of the 3 "native" players at Worlds last year, 2 were Asian-American/-Canadian (the third was Quebecois). Doublelift, the most famous and beloved North American pro, on whom I believe Players' Creamcheese was modeled, is a Chinese-American whose real name is Yiliang Peng. The breakout rookie star of last year, Jojopyun, is a Korean-Canadian who "native NA" fans held up as the shining hope of native NA talent. Youngbin himself, who plays Nightfall, is a Korean-American "native" pro. This begs another interesting question: Is it racism to support Asian-Americans over Asian Non-Americans? I think this uniquely positioned sports ecosystem creates a complex and interlocking system of identities that is prime for exploration in a narrative format. With the prevalence of European importing, it becomes even stranger. Most of the white players in the North American league aren't Americans or Canadians, but European imports, who are often subjected to the same prejudice and bias among fans as Korean imports. THEN it gets even more interesting when you factor in country of birth, which isn't even tied to citizenship or residency. One of the most famous "native" North American players is Spica, who was born in China and moved to Philadelphia when he was 10 or so. He still has Chinese citizenship and is only considered a "resident" of the United States, exactly like many of those green card-holding "imports," and yet Spica is universally considered "native" talent by fans. Last year, one team (CLG) made a splash by fielding almost entirely "native" talent, and was held up by fans as the "native talent" team--even though one of their players, Dhokla, was born in India. So where is the line? What distinguishes "native" from "foreign"? This is such a complex notion of identity that I feel like I could talk about it for hours.

As for sexism, yeah it's just really sexist.

I guess it's a bit more nuanced than that. League of Legends is like chess in which there is ostensibly no physical reason why women wouldn't be able to compete at the top level, and yet there simply are very few women who do. I follow the League scene from the amateur system to the pro leagues, and it's not like there is a large number of talented female players who are simply being withheld chances to compete due to organizational/player/fan sexism. There have even been instances of major organizations creating all-female development teams, but these teams are generally comprised of players who simply aren't at a level high enough to compete in the major leagues. Every so often you get a female player or two in the amateur or development leagues, but they don't generally stand out enough to be realistically promoted to a major league team.

In all four major regions, there has only ever been one female player who competed at the top level, that being Remilia, a trans girl, whose story is brutally tragic. She was manipulated and abused by the owner of her team, Chris Badawi, who provided for her a botched gender-reassignment surgery that left her with permanent pain for the rest of her life, until she died by suicide some years later. As you might imagine, any fan discussion on Reddit that even tangentially involved Remilia was a graveyard of posts deleted by moderators. The prejudice there, sadly, is about as rampant and overt as possible.

This post went pretty long, especially since I haven't actually seen the show you asked about and wasn't able to give any more specific thoughts on it. Hopefully, though, this provides a bit more context to the strange and complex regional and racial identity issues in the scene.

Currently, and very slowly, making my way through How to be a Victorian. I haven't had a lot of free time to be able to read as much as would want to this year. I hope next year when I change my job, I'll find something that gives me more time to do so.

I'm like, trying to reach back in my mind all the movies I've seen this year in theaters. The Menu was a really fun watch for the most recent thing I watched. Bullet Train was also a ride, pun intended. I'm trying to remember what I watched in theaters versus at home and honestly, I think I watched a lot of movies that were released this year at home.

If you draw/write, or create in any way, what’s your favourite picture/favourite line/favourite etc. from something you created this year?

Honestly, my favorite piece I've written this year was Come Ashore for Rack and Ruin, like, I feel like the whole piece just came together and felt really good to write. Same with the second chapter of Dreams of Philadelphia. These are my favorite lines from them respectively:

Matthew didn’t fall anywhere special, he didn’t stand out amongst any of the other dead Canadian soldiers that Alistair finally stumbled across. His body lay upright and Alistair risked a precious second to push the lad’s goggles to his forehead to reveal glossed-over, grey-blue eyes staring towards the heavens; maybe the lingering spirit of Matthew could see it a little clearer now. Like everyone, he was covered in gore and mud. Alistair didn’t think the lad could be any quieter than he already was. Silent as a church mouse now quiet as a Catholic grave.

A place Alfred had long associated with life and freedom, one of the birthplaces of who he was reeked of death. Open windows that once lead way to cheerful laughter and freshly made apple butter now let the souls of the dead pass through as well as the stench of decay.

What’s something you would like to create content for?

A dream would be to write something similar to the American Girl books, some good historical fiction for a younger audience to get young readers interested in history but not just for America but for other countries as well.

Other than Hetalia? Furthering continuing my downfall of being a 2012 tumblr entity by rewatching Doctor Who.

What’s something you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year?

Honestly speaking my job. I was really looking forward to working at a school as an assistant and was proud to have been offered a higher position early on. I wanted to do well. I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to help teach these kids. Every step I take feels like a punishment like I made the wrong choice of what I'm doing.

What’s a hidden talent of yours?

Is being good at the Sims count? Like, I'm really good at decorating interiors and making Sims. Where on my resume can I put that I'm good at creating characters as well as aesthetic image boards.

The only thing I've surprised my wife with doing is being really good at handling all sorts of watercraft such as a jetski and kayak.

Hello and howdy peeps it is yo girl again with another post but this time its dolls yeah that's right dolls! Okay but really I just wanted to do a post about discontinued dolls because I thought it would be nice and fun and since I haven't posted in a while I thought it would be a good thing to come back with and well here it is.

Numbah 1. Novi Stars

I didn't have these dolls as a kid and I didn't really like the look of them although now I think they look really rad and honestly alien dolls? Amazing idea! I am not sure but I think these came out near the end of Bratz. They were made in 2012 and didn't last very long and ended in 2014 and like I said as a kid I didn't really like the look of these dolls so I can understand why kids didn't really flock to these dolls maybe since well where would they fit in like with me I played with Bratz with other Bratz i never played with another doll and a Bratz doll it just didn't feel like it fit in that universe but anyways the doll line only had 20 dolls and the names they came up with are very smart and I really think it's cool. If these were to come back I would probably buy them as long as it's a reasonable price. I can't see these coming back anytime soon but hopefully one day they will but since they I assume weren't as influential or popular as Bratz it will probably take time for them to come back to the world.

Numbah 2. Lalaloopsies

These tiny (and big) dolls also came out around the end of my doll phase or I guess the best way to put it is when I was not getting into the newer dolls and toys. Lalaloopsies were these plastic ragdoll type dolls by again none other than mga entertainment they came in small and in some series big some also had hair and some were just plastic hair. I had some although I didn't play with them much but they were very charming and different from the other dolls I really like this era of dolls because they weren't meant to be humans they were just whatever like above aliens and just really whatever. These dolls also came with super adorable playsets and little pets just like another doll I will be talking about later on this list. Pretty sure I had almost all of the Lalaloopsies in this photo but I do not have them on me. There are at least 156 residents in Lalaloopsy land and 88 of them are tall, 39 are mini and 35 are little there are 150 females and 8 are males. They also have a or had a show on Netflix. Do I think these dolls could come back? Absolutely yes.

Numbah 3. My Scene

My Scene were a doll line from 2002 made by Mattel. They look like the popular Barbie doll but with larger heads and have more similar fashion to Bratz, Mattel and Barbie's enemy/rival and have 3 movies (also is it just me or does the art style remind me of the show 6 teen?) Later through the years they had a decline and sadly they were discontinued. Do I think these dolls can come back? Difficult I feel like they could as long as the clothes are from good fabric and stylish and a part of me feels absolutely not. Mattel has had a really good kid friendly image with Barbie and I feel like a lot of parents would freak if they saw these doll. I didn't play with them as a kid actually I didn't even know about their existence AT ALL! But since I was really into Bratz I could totally have seen myself playing with these dolls as a kid i think their fashion is amazing and again I would love to see them make a comeback.

Numbah 4. Bratzillaz

I know this should be criminal to have Bratz under a Mattel doll I apologize but I wanted to save the best for last. So Bratzillaz are Bratz but they are witches with magical powers and were made to compete with Mattel's Monster High Dolls at the time. They were made in 2012 but later discontinued while Bratz were being rebuilt since a lot of parents didn't like the look of the Bratz. These dolls were meant to be the cousins of the Bratz and they also had a web show. I had quite a few of these dolls maybe one day I will make a post about the dolls I had idk it will probably be a mini post but these dolls were pretty cool. I loved how the legs, hands and arms could move and the fabric they used was pretty nice. Do I think they could make a comeback? Eh maybe one day but I think MGA should just focus on the Bratz when they can before these dolls.

Numbah 5. Yummi Land

Okay alright so I know this photo only shows one doll and that's because I had this doll. Her name is Mindy Mint Chocolate Chip and she smells like mint and like every Yummi Land doll they smell like what the character is named. This is yet another MGA doll line one I would absolutely love to come back why? Because I feel like they weren't around for a long time and I think they are absolutely lovely and different and I although I have said I didn't flock to many dolls that were different I feel like this is one I could see younger kids loving and I would totally buy them. These dolls were introduced in 2006 with a movie called Betsy Bubblegum' Journey through Yummi land. The doll lines included Soda pop girls, creme soda pop girls, candy pop girls, flower pop girls, ice cream pop girls, smoothie pop girls, sundae pop girls and a holiday special doll named Paris Peppermint Creme and another called birthday pop girls. I do not know how many of these dolls there are but just like Lalaloopsies they come in small and big. The doll I owned was a big one. What I loved about these dolls is that they came in bottles idk if anyone else gets interested by how things are packaged but for me I love it so these dolls coming in bottles were just really cool and if they ever made a comeback I hope they keep the bottle idea which now I will answer, do I think these dolls can come back? Yes. They are cute and I think a lot of people especially kids would love them because they smell nice and are just really pretty even the small ones could come back I think. I don't know how small those ones were but Barbie Peekaboos and Polly Pocket have been a thing therefore I think these dolls could make a return.

I grew up with a lot of dolls and I think some of them had really cool ideas and were different and I think that's cool. I really like how some of them were really girly and just cutesy and I think little girls would absolutely love Yummi Land dolls. I wish I had more growing up but I only had one although I remember another girl who was older than me as a kid getting one too I think she had blonde hair with all that said I will have the linkla below and I will see you next time
