How hognoses ask to be friends!
(The Hognose Twitch aka ScootScootScoot!)
If Sakura's body language is friendly, but she is partially in a hide, I'll drape my hand over her substrate barrier (which is a piece of plastic that keeps her substrate from spilling out when I open the door) and let her choose if she'd like to socialize. Sometimes she'll feel bold and take this as an invitation to come out, other times she'll rub up against me and caress my hand. I think she gets lonely when her sister goes to sleep before her, and if I offer her socialization time many times she'll lay with her body caressing part of my hand.
Each time she's done this, she's cuddled me a bit longer. Today, after cuddling, she had a surprise!
youtube
She did the hognose twitch for me! (Timestamp 0:37 & 3:35)The first time she did it, it was much bigger, but I had no idea she was going to do it so I grabbed my camera and filmed the one after. Usually she will twitch while scooting forward, but the substrate barrier prevented most of that-otherwise she probably would have had much bigger motions and scooted into my finger XD
If you are not familiar with "the hognose twitch" this is a way some snakes (including hognoses and rattlesnakes) will communicate to each other they are friendly please be nice too?, and the other snake will do the same motion back to show they are. Some folks think it has to do with mating, but it really doesn't anymore than waving hello is exclusive to dating- which I suppose snakes might do instead if they had arms.
Usually they only use this means of communication with other snakes, but babygirl was scoot scoot scooting specifically to communicate with me! So perhaps Sakura and I are now good friends, and I am an honorary snake. :3
Sometimes they will also twitch when startled, it seems to say a similar message, "I'm friendly! Don't shoot!" so to speak, which is why near the end you'll hear me talk about how I don't think she was scared/startled and doing this out of fear. Sometimes snakes will hide they are afraid, and you can tell if a snake is frozen in fear by stepping away a moment as scared snakes frozen in fear will take that moment to flee and hide.
I left her alone to be sure this interaction was not stressing her out or a startle response, and she just adjusted herself into her usual relaxed pose that she often takes at night to watch me from her little den before bed.
#snow#albino#axanthic#superconda#i think i id'd sakura already but i still like seeing her pop up on my dash occasionally or within the hognose tags#and i didnt know that the twitch was used outside of mating! the more you know#hoggies are so neat

virginity/voyeurism
Charles’ breath was hot on Alex’s palm as they rutted against each other in the closet. He was making these desperate soft noises that went straight to Alex’s already-hard dick, breathy and sweet against his earlobe. He smelled like cheap vodka and perfume, scent thick and filling the cramped space.
“Shh,” Alex muttered, as he pushed his leg between Charles’ thighs, his dick heavy against a bony hip, “shut up Charlie they’ll hear us.”
They, being the ongoing event outside, music thumping through the wooden door and people chatting in the corridor. It was a fairly big party, people spilling out from the rooms into the corridors, and then out onto the grass to stand under the warm summer sky, nursing lukewarm beers and swatting away the persistent mosquitoes.
Every time there was a clattering of feet and burst of laughter right outside, Alex could feel Charles tense under his hand, half fear and arousal battling it out in his brain. He liked it, secretly, he could tell; the secrecy of it all curling low and hot in his stomach. They could get caught at any moment, open mouthed and thrusting against each other like a pair of teenagers, so desperate that they couldn’t find a room before falling against each other.
Fuck.
Charles pushed against him just right, and Alex gasped, shoving his hand between them and cupping the underside of Charles’ dick. It was a pretty one, curved and pink at the head. His pubes were trimmed— something Alex would make fun of him for at a later date, manscaping.
“Alex,” Charles said softly, and fuck if he didnt love the way his accent curled around the vowels, soft and intimate, “Alex come on mate just— please—“
He was getting close, Alex could feel it, dick twitching against his palm. He tightened his grip meanly, just to hear Charles yelp, before realigning himself so they slid against each other. They gasped in tandem, Alex’s head falling forward until he was panting hot and needy against Charles’ neck.
“Come on, come on,” Charles was muttering, chasing him down to the finish, hips jerky and losing coordination, “ah— so good— Alex—“
A loud thumping of footsteps as someone stopped just outside the door, voice suddenly loud enough that they could’ve been standing right there next to them.
“Have you seen Charles?” The voice was pitched up and inquisitive, “I swear he was somewhere around here.”
Charles yelped as their dicks shoved together just-so, Alex’s thumb swiping over the sensitive head. He was trembling. He leaned forward to press his face into Alex’s warm shoulder, small muffled noises escaping him, punched-out with each pull of Alex’s hand.
The footsteps lingered outside, and Alex chewed desperately at the inside of his cheek. He was so close, wave cresting and hips canting up in small jerking movements.
Finally, they moved away, and Alex redoubled his efforts, spine curving over and turning his face to gasp wetly into Charles’ neck as—
A muttered swear, and Alex clapped his hand over his mouth as he let out a particularly loud groan, come spilling over hot anf sticky into his palm.
There was a second of panting into each others mouths, wet uncoordinated kissing that was really more their lips sliding aginst each other before Charles pulled away.
“Gross,” he said, grinning. He grabbed at Alex’s hand, sticky and covered in come. Alex had a second of conscious thinking before Charles was licking up his palm with the flat of his tongue, licking up between the seams of his fingers and chasing down every last drop. His dick twitched unhappily.
“Thanks,” Alex said, mouth dry.
“No problem,” Charles said smiling self satisfied, catlike, “cleanliness is important you know.”

Hi Elliot <3
/rp /dsmp
He was out! He was actually out!
Dream was standing barefoot in the grass outside the Vault, taking in the rain and the night sky and freedom. Finally. Now he only had to find a place to stay, some food-
Techno interrupted his train of thought, gently shaking his arm
“You coming, nerd?”
“Coming were?”
Techno just smiled, gesturing to the rest of the Syndicate.
“Home.”
(Ngl I am surprised this isnt angst <333)
"Home?" Dream looked up at Techno confused. The blade looked at Dream with mischievous glint in his red eyes and smiled.
"Yeah I mean your old one kinda got damaged so you know people usually go and stay in a new one. I'm not letting go of my roommate," Technoblade joked and then smiled genuinely at the end, "A friend?" Dream scrunched up his nose and pulled Techno's cloak more close to his face so the fur would hide his face partially when he looked at the other three figures standing in the distance. He bit his lip and blinked his eyes to stop the tears from coming out. "Friend yes," Dream nodded and took Techno's arm. "Yoooo we win these," Techno spoke after Dream was helped up to mount the horse. "As always mate but not hurry up you two," Phil spoke, a hand on his circular hat. "They'll be out in no time looking for you. Dream come with me." Dream looked at Techno who was standing near his own horse. Going with Phil? Dream shook his head and told Techno no. Technoblade sighed and walked over to him. "Listen here roommate, we are going in groups? Phil can protect you better than I can at the moment," Techno glanced at his bloody leg to make his point. "I promise and you know my promises right?" "Okay," Dream uttered before he looked at Phil's smiling face. The horse was very patient to him. Dream being not familiar with one for a long time made him nervous as the being trotted towards the angel. "Come on mate," Phil spoke and then noticed Dream nervously glancing at the horse. "She is very patient don't worry. Ranboo learned horse riding on her and you know how clumsy that child is." Phil chuckled and Dream gave him a partial smile. Phil nodded at him and the duo started off. Dream glanced back ones to look at Techno and saw him with Ranboo and Niki who were recovering from crying and now were riding at a distant pace behind them. The terrain changed constantly as they had to take a long way home instead of the nether travel. Dream glanced at Phil's wing from time to time cause it twitched whenever Dream sighed or gasped. Like Phil was on alert, worry hidden behind his smiling wise face. "Thank you," Dream croaked and looked at Phil once before breaking the eye contact.
"Dream," Phil started and expected for the boy to look at him but Dream didnt. "Look that place was a hell hole. Fucking terrible thing okay. You dont need to thank me or anyone of us. We act on our beliefs." There was a moments pause and Dream looked at Phil who was watching back with a knowing gaze. "In a right way. Now, Dream, I want you to know what your beliefs are after all this. We will be with you whatever. Okay mate?" Dream nodded and they were silent for the rest of the ride. When the cold tundra came Dream did not shiver. He enjoyed every snowflake falling on his skin. He still remembers how the flakes would gather on his long lashes when he was out in the cold too long. Techno, Ranboo and Niki had joined them and now they were all going together. Dream smiled at Techno who just blinked in assurance and smiled. Dream was going to owe him for life. Not just because Techno had got them both out of the prison but because despite all of this shit, Techno had called him a friend. Cared for him the same way he had cared for Wilbur and Tommy. Dream smiled at Niki who waved at him and smiled kindly. She was the first one to touch him when he stepped out of the prison, wrapping him up in a cloak and convincing him to drink his regen pot even though he protested. The next moments were spent in silence as Dream was helped down from the horse by Techno and escorted in a cozy warm living room. Dream was alert under the curious eyes of Steve and only waved at him as the polar bear snorted and sat down staring at him. Niki had gone to put the horses in the stables, Phil went away to fetch the meds and Techno, Dream didnt know where Techno was so he started looking around panicked. "Hello," Dream turned around started to look at the half enderman and stumbled back to land on the sofa. Ranboo backed away looking panicked Dream and purple particles fluttered around them. "I'm sorry i didnt mean- I just wanted to give you tea." The boy finished shyly. Dream took the cup with shaky hands and stared at it. Ranboo was Tommy's friend. How? and why? "If it comforts you, Phil made it," Ranboo spoke and sat opposite to Dream, his tail flicking nervously. Dream took a sip, slight afraid to show that he didnt trust Ranboo completely. "So you liked that horse?" Ranboo asked not making an eye contact. "Yeah she was very fine," Dream spoke as honey soothed his throat.
"Yeah.. yeah she is mine.. i heard you liked horses so... I, I mean we got the finest for you..." Dream hummed and the awkward silence settled. Ranboo would glace at the scared man once in a while and every time the figure would pull the cloak closer. "I mean after you get better," Ranboo started and Dream looked up immediately fearing being thrown out after all this was over. "I mean after you get a little bit better... Will.. will you train with me, Dream?" Dream just stared at him as the question had took him off guard. He didnt know what Ranoo was planning. "I mean I have mob heads you know. I got them myself," Ranboo smiled a bit being proud. "It was scary but now i have many Cre.. skeleton heads and we could you know target practice." Dream looked at Techno who was silently watching unnoticed by Ranboo. "You know Techno teaches me and Niki and he is great at it. He praises but I know I am not as good at fighting yet so you can join us maybe? We can train together and then niki can bake us...." Ranboo went on while Dream heard all of it. "Okay," Dream smiled at him stopping the rambling. "I'll train with you."

I like your writing a lot (especially fire force).I have a request for Benimaru x reader who can’t speak, she can fight and her ability is good but everyone ignores her,Beni noticed that, how would he comfort her or maybe confess to her.
Hey thanks for the request! I really liked writing this and I got to include the only JSL sign I know which is for thank you 😊 I hope you like this!
Your neck hurt from where the blast hit you but you used the momentum to your advantage, turning it into a back handspring. You slide on your hands then when you land on your feet you’re pushed a little more from the force.
You don’t let the white clad pop off any more blasts, immediately pulling the heat from the atmosphere around you and adding it to your flames as you use your ignition ability. the rocks around your feet begin to float, making them glow then light on fire, burning bright and hot as you pour the heat and energy into them. You snap and they all fly towards the white clad “rocks? That’s your weapon?” the white clad begins to laugh but you just smirk. Using your ability to control the speed and precision of each one. you send them all to specific pressure points in the white clad’s body, one to the neck, one to the jaw, and one to each temple.
You watch as they strike them, the smirk on your lips growing into a look of satisfaction as the white clad falls to the ground, unaware of the man watching you from his place in the sky.
Waka hops down from his flaming broom to the tower beside Konro and he hums “who is that?” he asks and Konro sighs “ y/n l/n.” “Is she new?” Konro shakes his head “shes been here two years almost. She’s a mute, lost her voice when an infernal attacked her home, her parents died and the burning roof fell on her. She landed on the edge of a knocked over chair and the force of it destroyed her voice box.” Waka doesn't say anything, just watches as you pop your neck and stretch out your shoulders, making your way back to the guardhouse since he called the fight over.
You enter the guardhouse and like usual, no one really looks at you. You get one or two nods but this was normal, you couldn’t speak and so people didn’t want to even try to talk to you. Having to wait while you write down responses or trying to learn how to read your gestures or lips was just too hard for them, you guess. But you really didn’t mind. You liked to be on your own for the most part, used to it by now. Benimaru watched your interactions with your peers and scowled, why did they treat you like an outsider?
After your shower you decide to head on a walk to watch the stars before you go to bed, walking down the nearly empty streets as you cleared and relaxed your mind. .“Hey” his voice makes you jump and you clutch at your heart with a small smile and empty laugh. “Sorry, i didn't mean to scare you” you smile softly at him, a little confused as to why the captain is talking to you but he doesn’t seem commanding right now so you don't salute, which he doesn't mind.
You raise your hand to your throat and he nods “i know. Konro told me” you raise your eyebrows and he looks into your eyes for a moment, he didn’t know it was possible for someone to have such beautiful eyes. “Can i walk with you?” he asks and you stare, shocked, for a moment before smiling again and nodding.
“I saw you fight today” you feel butterflies enter your stomach, he watched you fight? He took time to watch ~you~ fight? You couldn’t believe it, you thought for sure there was someone better to watch, someone more powerful. “You’re strong” he says and you feel your cheeks warm, you bow your head in thanks and you flatten your hands, bringing the edge of your right hand against the back of your left wrist in the JSL sign for thank you. He watches you and understands your sign, already having looked up some basics before talking to you.
When you raise your head he gets a glimpse of your adorable blush and the corners of his mouth twitch, threatening a smile that he forces away.
You walk in comfortable silence for a while, stopping by the river for a moment to look up at the moon before your curiosity got the best of you. You turn towards him and lay your hand on his shoulder so he would look at you. You raise your eyebrows in question and mouth the word “why?” “why do i walk with you?” he asks and you nod, your hand falling from his shoulder
“i don't understand why you’re an outsider if you’ve been here for 2 years. I want to spend time with you and see if you’re a good or bad fit in the company. So far, your fighting is powerful, you are trained well and obviously know what you’re doing. I’ll be spending the next few days with you to test your skills as well as learn why you’re still an outsider and why you have no friends” his words were blunt and although you didnt mind not really having friends in your company, it still stung to have him say it so bluntly. It’s not like they dont like you or anything, they just dont want to spend the time getting to know you. You furrow your brows, hoping he doesnt make you leave the company because of that.
Sure enough, the morning comes and he’s there, watching you during breakfast and noticing how you interacted with team mates, noticing how they all just .. ignored you. He humphs, catching Konro’s attention. “She does her thing, and everyone just lets her. It’s like shes a ghost. I’m not sure if she minds though. We talk sometimes, she’ll write down responses or make signs she knows, sometimes she mouths words and i’ll read her lips”
The afternoon rolls around and after Benimaru is finished with his paperwork he walks the halls, asking any team member he runs into about you. “Shes just.. weird.” “It’s weird shes mute.” “it makes me uncomfortable to talk to her” and more things were said, but none of them were worse than that. Everyone just didnt want to try talking to you because they were uncomfortable with that way of communicating. It annoyed him how stupid his company was. He asked them if they trusted you in battle though, and all the answers were yes. They all knew how you fought and you were amazing and powerful. All of them would team up with you on the field in an instant.
He watches as you train, alone as usual, and studies your fighting style. It was a mess but he was impressed because it actually worked? Like you made your own style that was the opposite of every other style, he went through your style in his head, putting it against other styles he has seen from whte clad and you had the right angles and moves to completely work around them.
He throws off his sleeve and stands in front of you, wanting to put you to the real test. He represses a smile, he actually hopes you give him a good fight worth his time. You smirk, there was no way you could beat him but you’d give it your all.
He nods, signalling for you to go and you use your ignition powers, taking the rocks behind him on the ground to fly towards him with the same force as the ones with the white clad. As he was distracted turning his head to see, you use the same power, this time focusing it on the soles of your shoes and adding to the power and force to which you ran. He gasped softly as you surprised him, appearing right beside him as you went to jab but as he went to dodge you faked him out, kicking the back of his knees and making him fall flat on his back.
You gasp softly and raise your hand to your mouth, you didn't expect to actually land a hit on the Captain. You hold your hand down to him and he takes it with the smallest of smiles. “I didn’t expect that” he says “you surprised me, but know this, it won't happen again.” he dusts himself off and then gets back into position and makes eye contact “begin”
He was right, it was a fluke surprise thing. You never got another hit in but you fought so hard you kept him on his toes. It was like a dance as you sparred. you didn't hold back and neither did he, although he did withhold his ability. You almost thought at the end you would get him again but he twisted the last second and you ended up flat on your back as he crouched beside you. “You’re more powerful than I first thought” he said and you felt your cheeks flush.
At dinner, he moves from his usual spot at the head table and finds you outside on the back porch, leaning against one of the beams and tossing bits of your rice to the birds. “Is this.. Your normal?” he asks when he sits beside you and you straighten up, not expecting to see him again today. You nod twice quickly and he hums before sitting beside you. “The company, they trust you in fights but ignore you in person, it doesn't make sense.” you laugh, just a soft sound of air from your nose and he cursed the sake he had at dinner for making it harder to hide his smile.
“Do you care?” he asks and you shrug. You didnt really care now but at first it was hard. You used to be the center of attention, laughing and joking and making friends easy. But two years later you had zero real friends.
“cause i could make them treat you better” he says and you look at him with wide eyes and mouth “Dont.” while you shake your head. He laughs a little and the sound makes you feel warm despite the cool night breeze. You mouth you next words slowly so he could read your lips “not a big deal” he nods “i envy you. Sometimes i wish people wouldn't talk to me” you give him a soft look with another airy laugh from your nose that says “i guess we envy each other”
Since then, even if you didn’t see him all day or communicate with him, he would eat dinner beside you outside every night. He decided that since he couldn't make anyone be your friend, he would be your friend. He would ask you simple questions at first, yes or no, before he got more comfortable with your responses and knew what you were saying with your eyes and facial expressions. Sometimes you didn't even have to mouth anything at him if it was an easy night.
He got back late tonight tho and missed dinner. You sat on the porch and felt like your heart wasn’t in your chest as you picked at your meal, feeding most of it to the birds and the stray dog that came around sometimes. You could tell you were developing feelings for your captain and it felt so cliche. You knew nothing could come of this so you just forced those feelings down, convincing yourself that your empty heart was just heartburn and it’ll go away eventually.
The next day you had off, so you spent it like you usually do any other off day. You took your sketchbook and pencils and went to the top of one of the guard towers.
You sit in the sun and enjoy the cool afternoon, the sounds of the city and pencils softly dragging across paper filling your senses. “You're pretty good” he says and you don't even flinch, you just smirk, used to his silent ways by now. You look up at him and roll your eyes before smiling softly and waiting for him to tell you what he’s doing. He sits beside you and you turn your body so you could look at him.
“is this how you spend your day off?” you nod and he hums “it’s nice up here, I can see why you like it” he holds his hand out for your pad and you hesitate for a moment before handing it to him. He raises an eyebrow at your hesitation but understands when he flips through the pages. It’s pages were filled with drawings of your company, team mates, the guardhouse, Konro had a few pages, you had to admit it was fun to sketch his hair and large stature. What impressed him the most thought, were the pages that had pictures of him.
Two or three pages had multiple different angles of his face but his favorite was the one where you drew him sitting beside you at dinner. You caught the feelings in his eyes and his body language, he looked like just a peaceful man. You titled it, the captain’s peace. And he felt his cheeks flush just slightly.
He holds his hand out for a pencil as he flips to a clean page and you set it gently against his palm, your soft fingers grazing his calluses send tingles up his arm.
He turns so you can't see the sketch pad, leaning it against his knee that he brought up and tucking his other foot behind that leg. You bring your knees up and lean your head against them, watching him as he sketches what you assume was the city. Your eyes focus on the clouds that roll by behind him as you just enjoy the soft sounds of pencil against paper. When the paper tears you gasp and look back to him, reaching out for it, wanting to see his work. “Not this time” he says with a chuckle and folds the drawing, tucking it inside his shirt. You pout and he about gives in, it was the cutest thing he’s ever seen.
He hands you back your pad and your pencil and you furrow your brows as you roll your eyes, taking the pad with a huff. You quickly sketch out a rough drawing of the city below surrounding the guard tower, then you draw more details on the tower before you add in him holding your pad and drawing and you sitting beside him. You title it, keep you secrets then, and then tear it out carefully and hand it to him. He laughs when he reads your title and folds it as well, placing it beside his other.
That night, in the middle of dinner, the alarm rings. Your bowls are forgotten about as you drop everything you’re doing. You run alongside Benimaru before you grin and salute him before running down a side road to fulfill your duty of getting the people to safety before helping out if you are needed, which you most likely would be needed with the multiple infernals. Beni does what he does best, gets brooms and goes straight to the largest infernal.
When you both get back, you sit beside him on the porch, your food cold and your bodies exhausted. You lay back on the hardwood at the same time, making you both smile softly at the ceiling. “You did well.” he said and you felt a sense of pride enter your heart. You reach out to pat the back of his hand, a way of returning the compliment, but you gasp when as you try to move your hand, he hooks his pinky around yours and holds your hand there beside his. You feel your cheeks warm because of this action, your heart racing.
Sure, the company saw your growing friendship, and as weird as they thought it was, they wouldn’t say anything. They would pretend they saw and heard nothing, too nervous of what their captain would do if they started anything.
You couldnt sleep, your face still felt warm from the small contact you had with him. You get up and walk down to the river, watching the moon hanging low as the morning approached. You sighed as you looked down into the water, looking at the reflection as you leaned against the railing and set your head against your arms.
You see his reflection, he’s looking at you in the reflection of the calm water. He smiles softly and sets a hand on your shoulder “it’s a nice night” he says softly, like his voice was only for your ears. You turn and look up at him with a small nod before smiling at him. His eyes looked tired, like he hadn't slept either. You reach your hand up, wanting to touch him but your hand freezes in the air and you frown. You dont really know if this is okay, you dont want to make him uncomfortable or anything by touching him. You almost drop your hand but he takes it, bringing it to his own face “it’s okay” he whispers and you feel your stomach flood with butterflies.
You reach your other hand up, cupping both sides of his face as your thumbs brush across his skin. You looked at him like you really saw him, not like he was some spectacle of power to behold. You looked at him like he was just benimaru, nothing more nothing less. That’s why he fell for you.
“If those bastards,”he brushes your hair from your forehead and smiles, truly smiles down at you, you’d think he was drinking but his breath smells like mint toothpaste. “can't see your worth, as a friend and comrade outside of battle. And since you don't want me to make them... “ he cups your cheeks as your hands move to his shoulders “Maybe, you'd allow me to stay by your side” he says as his face draws nearer to yours.
Your hands move around his middle as you close the distance between him, gripping the back of his shirt in your fists as you stand on your tiptoes to brush your nose against his, making him gasp softly before chuckling. “I take that as a yes” he says and you nod, your heart hammering in your chest as tingles run across your skin.
He looks deep in your eyes for a moment, and you try to put your soul in them. Try to tell him how you feel about him with just a look. He smiles and presses forehead to yours with a soft sigh “I can see everything in your eyes” he whispers before pressing his lips to yours.
(Bonus bc the story flowed different than I imagined in that moment and I want it to stay relevant)
He leads you by the hand to his bedroom, nothing in mind, just the desire to sleep. Once in his room he lets go of your hand to take off his shirt and you walk further in, looking round at his things. You smile when you spot the drawing on his dresser, the one you made for him. You gasp softly, gaining his attention as you take a step forward. “I uh” he swallows hard, a little embarrassed as you pick up the paper
The drawing he made, was of you. And it was beautiful. Your hair in the wind and your gaze far away as you reasted your head against your knees. It was titled ‘silent, strong, beautiful.’

Cold Blooded
A Dragon Ball Horror Fic {Part 8}
☆☆☆
The Gravity Chamber, at 500 times gravity was nothing compared to how heavy the princes heart felt. Whether he wanted to admit it or not he hurt Carlie and the fact she was UNDERSTANDING- other then alive- is nothing short of a miracle.. shes still his fiance, his mate. Vegeta was getting sloppy and keeping his mind occupied was proving to be a bigger challenge in and of itself.
"Why dont you go apologize to her already?" Bulma's voice cut through the gravity chambers speakers. Vegeta pounded his fist straight through a bot and looked to the screen on the wall. Hes quiet. "Vegeta, your so fucking dense.. shes going through trauma too. All she wants is to be comforted and if you can collect yourself and man up and speak to your *fiance* maybe you two will be stronger then ever.. just get your ass outside and see her." "Where." The prince piped up and turned off the chamber that was encased in red light. "Balcony from my room shes checking out the scenery with her new vision" she winks and turns off the display. "New vision..?" He furrows a brow and rushes out of the chamber.
He made his way to the other end of the building paying no mind to doctors and physicians who stood around scratching their heads. It seems like confusion was becoming more infectious in the walls of capsule corp then people were comfortable with..
He saw her.
Standing on the balcony with the robe that was leant to her from Bulma, he took a deep breath and made his way to the door. The wind fluttering curtains out of the building.
"Woman." He piped up, clenching his shaking fists.
Carlie turned eyes wide and tilted her head. Shes not wearing glasses. Its a new sight for the prince and certainly for her. She was so interested in seeing him she had a look of childlike wonder.
"Hey Vegeta, i was just about to come look for you, wanted to show you this." She pointed to her face, she was focused on him for the first time without glasses and Carlie simply loved it.. she welcomed him on the balcony and they stood side by side, Vegeta kept his place and stared at her gathering his thoughts and how to say it.
"Carlie. You know i didn't mean to do what i did… in any way shape or form id never lay a hand on you maliciously.. what I'm saying is that-'' she cut him off with a finger to his lips silencing the bumbling prince.
"My prince doesn't stutter over his words. That tells me your sorry and that's all i need." He sighed in relief and held her arms staring into her eyes. "No more glasses i assume?" He pushes bleached blonde locks out of her face to view her new look closer. "Nope! I have 20/20 vision now! The serum perfected it completely.. should be permanent. Like it?"
Vegeta tilted his face and hummed out a chuckle "Never mattered to me woman" he encircled his arms around her back and pulled her into a passionate hard kiss, nothing about Vegeta was soft or sweet. Let alone kissing or a rare apology. She welcomed it with a smile and running her fingers into his hair and deepening it. They were interupted by the sound of Bulma's voice. "No sex on my bed please you two." She casually asked of them making Vegeta smirk down at his woman beaming with relief. "No promises." Carlie held him close and looked at the blue haired engineer. "So i take it you both made up? Wedding still on?" "Plan never changed if im not mistaken" Vegeta grumbled and leaned back against the railing. "Good. I have food ready for everyone, Carlie go get dressed and meet us out there." She requested disrobing from the white lab coat. "Heard that. Im guessing hes not joining us again." She gulped, referring to Frieza. "No he had his fill already. Gets his food sent to his room." Bulma always had a way of making people comfortable in any bullshit situation. "Alright ill meet yall out there."
Carlie dressed in the little black dress she had as a backup in Bulmas closet. Simple and easy to slip on. Along with blue slides on so she wasn't barefoot going to the balcony. Upon closing the door she was met with the quiet halls of capsule corp she adjusted the dress and made her way down the hall only to be stopped by a familiar sight.
"Carlie!" Goku chirped coming from the direction of the lab. "Hey Goku! Long time no see. How you been?"
"Oh y’know all well and good, Vegeta told me that the serum was done so i stopped by and went into the lab to get the edible versions. Hope that’s no trouble!" He rubbed the back of his neck with a grin.
She laughed and walked in tandem with the larger saiyan to the balcony. "No no problem there. I should really come up with a name for it instead of calling it 'serum'." Goku made a thoughtful noise and tilted his head.
"Pick Me Up?" He said quite instantly. As if he already had a name for it. "Goku where the hell did you hear a phrase like that?" "Huh? Im not sure, really. Somethin i used to say with senzu beans or when I'm in a hospital bed, and believe me everyone needs a good Pick Me Up" Carlie snorted, Goku was that weird comic relief she needed in her life, some things are just too serious and then there was Goku to remind people there’s worse thing out there to be worried about then that on earth, the both of them stopped at the doorway from the balcony.
"It was strange actually, Frieza let me in the lab when i got there." Carlie raised a brow. "Really? Weird." She goes to the balcony with Goku who sees the smorgasbord of food. "Got room for one more?" "Yes Goku, we got more" Bulma says being served and points to Goku. The wait staff nods and goes back to fetch more food for the Saiyan with the biggest appetite and Carlie, who took her place beside the prince.
Something still sat heavy on her mind..
Why was Frieza in her lab?
Beneath the foundation of the corporation was Carlie’s Lab, and within that lab lay her best creation now being manufactured ten fold from enterprises, and Frieza was witnessing the young scientists' empire rise slowly. The former emperor strode around the lab and to a display with Frieza’s name scrawled across the drawn on screen. He smiled at the little things, whether it be penmanship or be it her dainty way she wrote in general there was something about her that Frieza enjoyed. Maybe it was her interest in him, maybe it was her kindness where others found reasons to hate him.
He didnt hate it. He felt the need to keep it to himself, to let it fester for his own amusement. He dipped his head forward and looked to a bag sitting erect on the floor.
Marked with the letter F. He tilted his head and picked it up, curious, he pulled out a large bottle of Merlot. “Hmm… Precious little thing remembered” He was caught off guard by the sound of someone opening the door to the lowermost part just before the labs door, he twitched upon hearing an unfamiliar voice.
He slid the wine back into the bag and placed it back to where he found it. Gliding with grace and absolute silence to the wall besides the door to listen. “Have you seen Norman anywhere?” A deep voice questioned, an older human physician.
“Havent since he sent another nude of Carlie..” “A real dime piece she is.. Too bad she still is with that weird alien.” “Ah come off it.. We have our Stache and she is none the wiser.”
Friezas fists clenched tight behind his back as he leaned against the wall, and a small knowing smile spread across his tightly lined black lips. Easy prey. He thought.
“So why are we down here, Nick?” the fat short one asked as the other fumbled with pills and some strange vial. “Easy, Bruce… were sabotaging her coffee so she can fall asleep faster, and were going to get that coding for that stimulant. Dumb bitch wouldnt know what hit her.” The door clicked open and In walked the Physicians, unbeknownst to them there untimely end would be at the hands of frieza.
At breakneck speed, Frieza apprehended both of them one by the neck with his tail and the other with his hand outstretched gripping the fat short ones neck, tight enough to hear a loud crunch before he could cry out for help.
“Tsk tsk tsk… you meddlesome little vermin were going to harm, Carlie” He lifted the one who was devising the plan into the air and tightened the appendage around his throat tighter, his fat friend gurgling almost unconscious on his own blood. His eyes flicked to the room in the back marked incinerator. Friezas devilish smile and bright vermillion eyes flickered from one physician to the other. “I do believe a swift punishment for disgusting little creatures like you are in order., wouldn't you agree, Bruce?” He walked forward with one hand anchored to his back as the door opened to him as if by will, the one being suspended in mid air was kicking and gasping, while the other was being dragged by his bottom jaw.
“This is a crude little disposal unit but it will do for now, besides trash belongs in the trash.” He tossed the fat one into the disposal pit with enough force to crack his head against the wall, the impact making a loud crunch; he gasped and twitched, spitting up blood on the ground, covered in charred remains of glass and waste.
Frieza brought the human to eye level with him and tilted his head as he stared in the face of sweet delicious fear, decadent tears and the succulent sight of sweat and blood shot eyes of the strangled doctor.
“Those pictures better be worth your utter demise. Too bad you wont be able to touch a woman as beautiful as her,” He took hold of his arms and with minimal effort popped both of his arms off his person like a doll, the dismembered doctor went wide eyed and cried before being flung head first into the same spot his partner hit.
“Now you wont have anything to touch her with….” He grinned laying the arms one over the other in the pit before clicking the incinerator activation button, sealing the two still living doctors away in a hard glass chamber door, and licks of fire erupting from the floor like hell reaching up to grab at them both. Frieza leaned against the wall marveling at the two doctors flop around like fish out of water… screaming silently for a help that will never arrive. Only to see their executioner behind the glass window beyond walls of rising fire, like the Devil himself.
“You will thank me, Carlie.” He assured sauntering from the room only to be met with a tiny floor cleaning robot that mopped up the floor of all the blood that soaked the linoleum floor. The perfect murder, and the best little cleanup crew and no one was any the wiser.
The emperor looked over at the bottle of wine left out for him then back to the screen with all the information of his physical genetic makeup, hes thoroughly impressed and with a swipe of his hand the coding goes over to the Saiyan genetic makeup with the green wording beneath it.
Perfected.
Frieza narrows his brows and hums. A tab opens with all the reasons why it is perfected. Most of these reasons are beneficial and to aid civilization as a whole. Both alien and human alike, and shes only put forth the battle stimulant. “This benevolent little woman is more creative then I expected.. Ohoho.. Your only peaking my interest further and further Carlie.”
He goes back to his own investigation and feels like hes seen enough. He’ll inspect his findings later, but for now he is in wait. The incinerator dings indicating its disposal has ended. Frieza grins maliciously. “Too bad that was much faster than anticipated…”

Was supposed to get this out earlier but the start of some hippyish one shots for several fandoms since i cant find any really. Will be posting these on AO3 on a later date. And other fics are still happening yall.
Hippy Shots #1
Siren- ryn/maddie/ben (polymarine)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A group of birds fluttered through the tops of dark green spruce trees. The sun was peaking through leaves and the van was cast in a gold glow. The air smelled less like ocean than Bristol Cove but was clean. Ryn had opened the door and laid on the rug in the middle of the night when she heard things moving outside. It was mostly just human noises but she wanted to be sure any predator human or not wouldn't threaten her or her mates. She laid on the large rug rolled out over the metal flooring of the van. It helped reduce any cold coming from the floor all night. It didn't serve much purpose other than decoration when it was so warm in this season. She didn't sleep well but when she could, the rug influenced her dreams with memories.
The rug was a mix of brown and red squares with gold dots. When they first put the rug down earlier that week she traced over the shapes learning the names of each one and the color. Maddie taught her that practicing would help her learn faster and soon she would know the name of most things. It encouraged Ryn to watch and help the pair furnish the small space they'd be using to "camp" in. Ryn remembers Ben's face when she mimicked his hand gestures when explaining camping to her. It was what humans did to be closer to nature.
Now she watched through the open van door as people stirred around a campsite. The three of them arrived the night before and parked in a spot closer to the lake, just in case she started to dry out on the trip. The sun had just risen and after driving all night Ben and Maddie were still asleep in the makeshift mound of pillows and blankets they all were calling a bed. Ryn watched as a woman in colorful clothing carried a bin towards the lake and a small human child followed behind her. Salty smells wafted in the direction of the van and Ryn turned sniffing the air.
It smelled like food and when her stomach twisted with her hunger it confirmed the presence of fish. She knew could wait for the pair because her patience was stronger than her hunger. Her curiosity on the other hand was not. Ryn checked over her shoulder and watched as the covers rose and fell repeatedly. She grabbed the small backpack which held a bottle of salt water, just in case, and the device the humans called a phone. Slipping her shoes into the bag she left the van and closed the metal door quietly.
Ryn started walking towards the scent she caught earlier. Sniffing the air she found it led down the large main dirt path where other campers stayed in areas similar to the one with the van.The dirt under her feet was soft and warm from the summer sun as she followed her senses. It was comfortable enough that she did not take time to pull the shoes out of her bag. Not looking back she did notice the lake getting further and further away. More humans were walking around now and they all looked so different. Some had different colored hair, some had paint on their faces, and others looked tired but were very active. None of these people seemed like a threat but, she still kept her distance. Continuing to follow the smell she passed several tents, vans, and finally stopped in front of a large yellow van. She was sure Ben had called one of these a buzz before. A tall skinny man caught her staring and she noticed him approaching her from the corner of her eye.
"Hey there, I'm Sam, you look a little lost there." He said with a smile. He had skin like Levi and his hair looked like Maddie's when it was decorated. The smile on his face resembled othe humans who looked at her like she did not understand them. A strong smell radiated from his body and she hissed low at the burning paper in his hand. He shifted backwards and that was not what she wanted at all. Remembering Maddie telling her to use her words made her soften her stance and quiet her hissing. She had been talking more so she hoped he could understand anything she was saying.
"Buzz," Ryn said out loud and pointed.
"You're name is Buzz," his eyebrow rose in question. Ryn watched his reactions, he didn't understand.
"I am Ryn. I look for food, buzz smells like food." She tried to explain better than before.
"Ohhh you're looking for the fish. You must be new here. We, me and my group, cook meals for everyone here. Kind of like a large community potluck. Well it's over there," he pointed to a small line of people. "Just stand in line and they'll give you whatever you ask for, we do have vegan options too."
Ryn nodded and did as the man told her. It wasn't long before she had a large white box in hand with several pieces of fish and other assorted foods inside. She sat at a bench and grimaced at the contents. Cooked fish. She picked at the flesh of the fish while observing the campers, the sounds of instruments in the distance, and the jingle of chimes. It was nice here, different from her new home but nice. Holding the box Ryn walked toward the wooded area away from people. She stopped past the people cooking the fish before she left and managed to get one of the raw ones.
Humans made a lot of noise and did so for reasons that did not interest her. At least not on this day, so she moved back towards the closest quiet area where people slept. She sat on a bench and ate the small fish whole. When she finished eatting she started to trace her way back through the grass to the trail that led to the van. Maddies voice was coming from her bag and she sat her things on the grass while she pulled the bag off her back. She hissed quietly while taking the phone in her hand and holding it in front of her face. "Madd-ie," she said awkwardly.
"Ryn! You're okay? Are you lost?" She could tell her mate was worried. That was one thing she didnt account for, what Ben and Maddie may think when they woke up with Ryn gone.
"Ryn is okay. I'm sorry that i worry you." Ryn talked to the phone still held in front of her face. " I will return, i have food for Ben and Maddie".
There was a loud crash and Maddie yelled out for Ben before the line went dead. Ryn's eyes went wide, she quickly pocketed the phone and clutched the white container in her hands. She sprinted back towards the van quickly. Not avoiding people they were forced to leap out of the way. Some humans began yelling after Ryn, "Are you okay" or "hey watch it". She realized she was running fast enough that she was skipping her steps. It was a frantic gallop to match the word she learned to be panic. Fastly approaching the van her eyes started scanning the exterior for any signs of her mates.
Maddie was nowhere to be seen and Ben wasn't either. Ryn felt her heart beating faster than its already accelerated heart rate. The food still clutched in hand she slowed to a walk and looked around the open back of the van cautiously. Still no sign of either of them, Ryn started to frantically look back and forth trying to catch a trail of scent or a clue of anything. She sensed someone coming up to her and the usually slick barely there hair on her shoulders was standing up. Her nose started twitching and then she relaxed. She unwrithed her shoulder and felt hands snake around her. Ben held her and whispered in her ear, "i am okay i just may or may not have fell out of the van trying to run to go find you."
She turned her head to look up at him. "Ryn is sorry, i was looking for food."
He chuckled and kissed her forehead lightly before taking the slightly crumpled container from her in one hand. She nuzzled into him and sighed while closing her eyes. She knew she was sorry but didn't know what other way to show it. She felt Ben rubbing her back and her heart rate slowed from where it was still slightly racing. Her boyfriend was good at making her less frantic in moments like now where her instincts to protect were so high. It meant less "accidents" Maddie called them, even though Ryn believed the world sometimes required a kill or be killed mentality. But, this was a good feeling coming down without being harmed or harming anyone.
"Hey Maddie," Ben yelled out, "she is back and brought us food." There was the sound of hurried footsteps before Ryn felt a body slam into her back. She didn't tense up before the impact but it didn't hurt. Ryn felt Maddie's body slowly go from tense muscles holding her close to softness. She sigh and angled her body and face to maintain contact with Ben while comforting her girlfriend. Ryn rubbed the tanned cheek she barely had to look up to find.
"Ryn is safe, Maddie." Ryn answered what she already knew Maddie was going to ask. "I found food," tapping the container. Maddie laughed and smiled. They all stepped back as Maddie and Ben opened the container. The food was there just slightly jostled and messy. They both nodded while picking at the food and watching her mates search for plates and forks, Ryn started smiling. That what was starting to become a regular thing for her and it was easy with her two mates showing her how to love.

Skyclan Reborn Chapter 2: Home is where your nest is
The sky was streaked with pale pink blue, signaling the coming dawn when they awakened, uncurling from each other. Sky was eager to set out, tail twitching restlessly as he waited for his mate to finish making dirt.
She came back around the corner and rubbed up under his chin. “So, where are we going?” she said.
He froze. Oh, right, he probably needed to know that. “Uhhh…” he trailed off, embarrassed. “Maybe to the dawn side of the city? No, wait. We should go just outside the city. More prey and less competition!”
Shiloh purred in agreement. “Sounds like a good option. Only problem is I don't know much about that area, and some of the city cats might find it difficult to navigate and hunt there.”
Sky had already started off towards the corner before she had finished. “That's okay,” he said as they paused to check a nearby road before crossing. “We haven't figured out the boundaries yet, so we will all have to learn the area.”
They crossed the road and many others like it, until they reached the edge of the city. There was a four lane road ahead of them, more dangerous than the normal ones. Cars were far faster on this one than others, and it was busier. They had to wait a long while, and took it in two parts, resting in the middle before finally passing over the last two lanes.
Once they got to the other side, and were met with the quietness of the upward sloping forest, they were able to speak again.
“I think that road would be a good dusk side boundary.” Sky commented. His white and gray pelt was a stark contrast against the dark green and brown shadowed undergrowth. High above them the tops of oaks and maples crowded together, while smaller trees grew in patches of rare sunlight. Actual ground plants like ferns and bushes were thick and jumbled, but the two cats managed to pick their way through them on paths worn into the earth by large prey animals.
For Sky it was a land of wonder, and although he had not been back in the area for many moons, he was able to point out with his tail several landmarks which Shiloh could use to guide herself out and down back to the city. He was glad then for those few moons of misspent energy as a youth, trying to live out the fantasies of his grandmother's stories. Now he would be fulfilling them after all.
In his contemplation and excitement, he realised he had gotten several tail lengths ahead of his mate. He was about to turn back to wait for her when an unsuspecting mouse ran right over his paws. On instinct he lashed out, and although it was a poorly aimed strike, it knocked the mouse off balance long enough for him to finish it off. With a smirk, Sky wheeled around with the mouse in his jaws to deposit it at his mate's paws.
Shiloh looked him up and down, whiskers twitching with amusement. “I was about to ask where that abundance of prey was, but I see the question answered itself.” She looked down at it curiously. “You caught that quite easily. I guess these prey creatures are not accustomed to equating our scent with danger. That will be useful.” She munched on it quickly, not wanting to disrupt their journey.
They followed the line of the ridge, up into the mountains, until reached small break which led into a valley. Their side had a steep sharp incline, and although they heard it, they nearly stumbled upon the stream rushing at the bottom of the valley because of how dense the foliage was. At this point in the valley, the stream was choked in on both sides by steep banks, and the water was deep, rushing with a dark undercurrent. Sky glanced over at Shiloh with a question in his eye, and she returned with a shake of her head. Not a safe camp. They followed the stream in its roundabout way, which at first seemed to go closer to the city and then veered off. The steep walls tapered down to a smoother area and the stream split off into another valley junction. But there the trees were too sparse, the cover not good, and there were even traces of humans and firepits. They continued on.
By the time they finally found something it was mid-day, and hot. They had been dipping their paws occasionally in the water when they needed to cross, and were partially in the water when they came around a bend. The little area was breathtaking, with shallow quick moving water and little islands of grass and stone. One bank was a nicely forested area with massive rhododendron bushes dipping into the water. The other side was a broken cliff face, which looked to be the remains of some old waterfall. At the base, the water had eroded the rock, and even in one spot there was enough space that bushes grew from the water to the craggy broken stone. Several secluded niches were visible, and Sky headed towards one, fascinated. Shiloh followed, choosing her paw holds with the utmost care as she crossed the stream.
“This looks perfect!” Sky said, rummaging through the bushes around the stone face. It was a struggle for him to focus, every movement and flash of color stimulating his senses and catching his attention. He heard Shiloh pass nearby with a scrabble of claws and pebbles. She called out to him, “Love? Come here real quick.”
He obliged, scrambling further up the stony bank to meet his mate at a jagged crack in the wall face. The tortie she-cat, pelt sparkling like ripples on water from the sun on her pelt, scraped at the wall, dislodging pebbles and dirt and widening the hole. Sky tried to help but she turned and just stared at him until he backed off, tail flicking back and forth silently. No one messed with a pregnant she-cat when she was determined to do something. Instead Sky just watched, occasionally turning his gaze back over the little stream.
It wasnt long before the hole was big enough to squeeze into, and Sky immediately recognized that Shiloh had been looking for a den, a safe place to build a nest for kitting. The thought made him a little skittish. She couldnt possibly be kitting yet! His mate squirmed into the hole, and he followed nervously, opening his mouth to see if he could detect any changes in her scent. When he pushed through, he found a smooth moss covered cave, high enough he could stretch paw-tip to paw-tip and just barely reach the top, with enough floor area for three or so sprawled cats. Besides the entrance they had just dug, he could see a few areas with cracks in the mostly earth outer walls, sheltered from the outside by roots and rhododendron leaves. It was virtually invisible.
“Perfect.” The word was slightly breathless coming from the heavily pregnant she-cat, and Sky caught her subconsciously kneading the ground a little, as if to test it. She noticed his smug look and immediately her ears went sideways and eyes narrowed. “Dont be too pleased with yourself. If we are to sleep here, we should find something to make a nest.” Sky almost protested something about mothers making their own kitting nests when she cut him off. “No, that would be unwise, you might get lost or trip into the stream because you are so distracted by everything.” Sky drooped, but didnt deny it. He didnt have the best track record of staying focused.
Instead he purred warmly, hesitantly rubbing against her, “Its Sunhigh anyway, lets rest til dusk, and then we can find some prey for our bellies, and you can find some material to use in the nest.” Sky was glad that instead of stiffening and listening to her instincts, Shiloh returned his purr and gave his jaw a lick.
“Sounds like a good compromise.” She murmured.
They settled then, cuddled together, alternating between grooming the other and dozing in the pleasant little cave.
