Remus Lupin entered your life like a comet: unexpected, bright, and impossible to ignore. It was hard to pinpoint the exact moment when you stopped seeing him as just another quiet student from your house and began to notice the quiet strength he carried. There was something in the way he seemed to notice the details that everyone else missed—a book you liked to carry with you, the slightly frustrated tone in his voice when someone interrupted you during a heated discussion about spells. He didn’t just see you, but seemed to understand the parts of you that no one else bothered to unravel.
You had always been calmer, more reserved. In a castle full of extravagant personalities and voices echoing down stone corridors, you were the type of person who preferred to observe. But Remus changed that. Not in a grand or obvious way, but with small gestures that slowly began to dismantle the walls you had built around yourself.
“You’re always so focused here,” he commented once, sitting beside you in a quiet corner of the library. His brown eyes shone with something that seemed like genuine admiration. “It’s like the world could end outside, and you wouldn’t even notice.”
You had laughed, trying to look away, but he didn’t give you room to escape. “Maybe because the world is calmer in here,” you replied, closing the book you were reading. “There aren’t as many distractions.”
“Is that so?” His tone was curious, almost challenging. “And me? Am I a distraction?”
He was. From the first moment he pulled a chair next to you, from the first time he asked if you needed help with that complicated spell in Defense Against the Dark Arts. His presence was a constant distraction—and one you didn’t want to escape.
Now, as you both walked across the school grounds, the night air bringing with it a chill that made the sky look even more starry, Remus held your hand gently. His fingers were long and slender, marked with scars he never fully explained, but which you had learned to recognize as an essential part of him.
“Are you cold?” he asked suddenly, stopping in the middle of the path to look at you. The moonlight danced on his brown hair, tousled by the wind.
“Not really,” you lied, not wanting to break the moment.
Remus raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a smile you knew was reserved for when he was about to challenge you. “You’re not a very good liar, you know that?”
Before you could answer, he took off the scarf he was wearing and carefully wrapped it around your neck. The touch of his fingers brushing your skin made a pleasant warmth rise on your cheeks.
“All set,” he said, adjusting the scarf as if it were the most important thing in the world. “Now, no cold can get to you.”
You didn’t respond, simply pulling him by the collar of his robe, making him lean closer. Your lips met in a slow, peaceful kiss, a perfect reflection of how Remus made you feel. He was everything you didn’t know you needed: secure, warm, and a little broken, but somehow whole when he was by your side.
When you pulled away, his eyes searched yours with an intensity that made your heart race. “If I could, I’d stay here forever,” he whispered, his voice deep but soft. “Just the two of us. Nothing else matters.”
"Remus," you called, hesitantly.
He turned his head toward you, his brown eyes shining with that familiar mix of curiosity and patience. "Hm?"
"Do you think people can really change? I mean... not just change on the outside, but on the inside too?" Your question slipped out before you could stop it, and for a moment, you almost regretted saying something so vulnerable.
Remus furrowed his brow, a subtle gesture you had learned to recognize as a sign that he was thinking deeply. "I think so," he replied carefully. "But it’s not easy. Changing means facing parts of yourself you’d rather ignore. And not everyone is willing to do that."
You looked at him, noticing how the moonlight seemed to soften the lines of his face, making him almost ethereal. There was something comforting in the way he spoke, as if he understood things that no one else could.
"I’m asking because..." You paused, the hesitation tightening around your throat. Part of you wanted to pull back, keep what you were about to say hidden, like you always had. But his presence had a way of making you feel safe, as if nothing could hurt you while he was by your side. "Because sometimes, I feel like I’m... not enough. Like I’ll never be good enough for anyone."
His eyes met hers with an intensity that was almost unbearable. "Why do you think that?"
You shrugged, trying to keep a light tone that contradicted the pain in your words. "I don’t know. Maybe because I’ve never been the one people choose. I’m... comfortable, but not memorable."
The silence that followed your words wasn’t empty. It was heavy, filled with something you couldn’t name. Remus squeezed your hand, and when he finally spoke, his voice carried an emotion you hadn’t expected.
"That’s not true," he said, almost in a whisper. "You’re so much more than you think you are. And if other people can’t see that, the problem is theirs, not yours."
The warmth in his words warmed something inside you, something that had long seemed dormant. You looked at him, searching for a clue in his brown eyes that always seemed to be full of secrets. He knew how to say the right things, but there was something in that response—a hesitation, a slight tremor in his voice—as if he carried an invisible weight.
"Do you really think that?" you asked, your voice filled with a vulnerability that was hard to admit.
Remus hesitated, just for a moment. It was such a small gesture that, if you weren’t paying attention, it could’ve gone unnoticed. But you did. The pause was brief, but enough for something inside you, something very small, to stir.
"I do," he finally replied, his voice firm now, as if he wanted to bury any doubt that might have arisen. "You’re incredible. And I want you to know that."
You believed him. There was no way to doubt him when he said things in that deep, conviction-filled tone. So, you let the moment pass, preferring the security of the present to questioning what might have caused his hesitation.
When he leaned in toward you again, pressing his lips to yours, you allowed yourself to believe that this was all that mattered. The kiss was calm, unhurried, but filled with something you couldn’t name. Maybe a silent promise.
The next few days passed like a dream for you. Everything seemed to align in almost a magical way. Remus was always around, with that soft smile and the eyes that seemed to see straight into your soul. He had a way of making even the simplest moments—like studying in the library or walking through the halls of Hogwarts—feel special.
You couldn’t help the smile that appeared whenever you thought of him. He made you feel like you were the only person in the world who mattered, like everything around you could fall apart, and yet you’d be safe as long as you were with him.
That afternoon, you were leaving the charms classroom when you heard familiar voices coming from a nearby corridor. The sound of laughter was the first thing that caught your attention, followed by the unmistakable tone of Sirius Black.
"You have to admit, Moony, it was brilliant," Sirius was saying, his voice full of amusement.
"I don’t know if brilliant is the right word," Remus replied, but there was a light tone to his voice, as if he was trying to hide something.
Curious and with a smile on your face, you made your way toward the voices. It was always nice to see Remus with his friends. He seemed so at ease with them, so different from the introspective Remus you knew. And you liked Sirius—he had that easy charm that made you laugh even when you didn’t want to.
But when you got close enough to see them, you stopped. They were facing away from you, meaning they hadn’t noticed your presence. Remus was leaning against a wall, arms crossed, while Sirius gestured animatedly.
"I still can’t believe you pulled it off," Sirius continued, laughing. "You know, of all of us, I thought you’d be the last to take a bet like that."
The smile on your face froze.
Remus sighed, looking uncomfortable. "It wasn’t supposed to be like this, Sirius."
"But it was, and it worked," Sirius insisted. "Thanks to you, Prongs finally got what he wanted. Lily agreed to go out with him. All because you got our friend here to think you were interested."
You couldn’t move. It was as if the ground had disappeared beneath your feet.
"I..." Remus hesitated, and for the first time, his voice sounded heavy. "It’s not that simple, Sirius. She... she trusts me. I didn’t want it to be like this."
"But it was," Sirius repeated, now with less enthusiasm. "And don’t tell me you didn’t know from the start that this was a bet. You agreed, Remus. And now... well, you know it’s not going to last forever."
You wanted to say something. You wanted to shout, cry, demand an explanation. But the words were stuck in your throat. Everything around you seemed to spin. The air was cold, but it felt like you were suffocating.
Remus had come closer to you. He had said the right words, held your hand, kissed you with a tenderness that felt so real. But it was all a lie. All part of a stupid bet.
Without realizing it, you took a step back, and the sound of your movement echoed down the corridor. They both turned immediately, and the expression on Remus’s face when he saw you was enough to break your heart.
"You heard," he whispered, his voice full of something that seemed like regret.
You didn’t respond. You didn’t trust your own voice. All you could do was look at him, your eyes filled with tears you refused to shed there, in front of them. The air felt heavy, almost suffocating, and the pain in your chest was so intense it felt impossible to stay there for another second. So, you turned away, without saying a word, and began to walk, your steps quick and awkward, desperately trying to put distance between you.
"Wait!" Remus’s voice echoed down the corridor, full of urgency.
You didn’t stop. Not for a second. The tears burned in your eyes, threatening to fall, but you blinked furiously, determined not to let him see how much he had hurt you.
"Please, just... listen to me!" Remus insisted, now closer. You could hear the sound of his footsteps, hurried, as he tried to catch up with you.
"Leave me alone, Remus!" Your voice came out louder than you intended, broken by the knot in your throat. But you didn’t care. All you wanted was to disappear, to flee from that nightmare that seemed to be sucking the air from your lungs.
But he didn’t give up. Before you could take another step, you felt his hand grabbing your arm. The touch was firm, but not aggressive, as if he were afraid of hurting you even more.
"Please, listen to me," he pleaded, his voice low now, almost begging.
You turned toward him with a sharp movement, pulling your arm from his touch. "Listen to me?!" Your voice trembled, filled with hurt and disbelief. "What else can you say, Remus? That it was all a bet? That I was just a joke to you and your friends?!"
He shook his head so forcefully that his brown hair fell over his eyes. "It’s not like that, I swear! It wasn’t supposed to be like this..."
"It wasn’t supposed to be like this?!" You took a step back, as if his proximity was too much to bear. "Then tell me, how exactly was it supposed to be, Remus?!"
He opened his mouth, but no words came out. His silence was like a direct blow to your chest. You saw the conflict in his eyes, the pain, the guilt... but also the truth.
"It was real," he finally said, his voice hoarse, almost inaudible. "What I feel for you... it’s real. I know I messed everything up, but I need you to know that."
You laughed, but the sound was empty, almost cruel. "Real? You think that matters now? After everything? You got close to me to help James get a date with Lily, Remus. You used me. How... how can you say that’s real?"
He took a step toward you, his eyes pleading. "I know it seems unforgivable, but please, believe me. I never meant to hurt you. I... I don’t even know when I started feeling this for you. But I do. I feel it so much it hurts."
"Well, congratulations," you shot back, your voice heavy with sarcasm and pain. "At least we’re on the same page. Because it hurts, Remus. It hurts so much that I can barely breathe. And you’re the reason for it."
The words came out before you could think, but they were true. He looked at you as if every syllable had been a blade. "I just wanted a chance to explain..."
"There’s nothing to explain," you interrupted, your voice quieter now, almost a whisper. "You’ve already said everything you needed. And I... I was foolish enough to believe in you."
You didn’t wait to see his reaction. Turning, you ran, ignoring his calls behind you. The tears finally fell, a cascade of pain you couldn’t contain any longer. And as you ran, you realized that no matter how fast your feet moved, there was no escaping the feeling of having entrusted your heart to someone who shattered it.
The following days were a blur of pain and emptiness. You felt like you were moving through life as a shadow of yourself, desperately trying to rebuild the walls you had torn down for him. Every brick you laid felt too heavy, as if the hurt and betrayal had drained all your strength.
Avoiding Remus was harder than you’d like. Hogwarts suddenly felt too small, with hallways that always seemed to lead him to you. But you refused to look into his eyes, to give any sign that he still had power over you. It was always the same: turn into another hallway, enter an empty room, or simply lower your head and keep walking.
You felt his gaze on you sometimes. Not insistently, but present. Like a shadow. He didn’t confront you directly, didn’t call your name out loud, but you knew he was there, at a distance, trying to find a moment when you weren’t so broken.
But you weren’t ready. Maybe you never would be.
Tumblr media
Remus, on the other hand, seemed more worn out with each passing day. He clung to the routine like a man adrift, trying not to drown in the sea of guilt that consumed him. He knew he had no right to approach you, not after what he had done. But he also knew he couldn’t just leave things as they were.
He tried a few times, hesitantly, to approach you in the hallways. "Please, just a minute..." he had started on one occasion, but the way you ignored him, as if he didn’t exist, was worse than any response.
Other times, he simply watched from afar, waiting for a sign, anything that might indicate that you were willing to listen to him. But nothing came.
He threw himself into his studies, trying to find a distraction, but even that was useless. The words in the books seemed to dance, and he couldn’t focus for more than a few minutes. Every time he closed his eyes, the memory of how it all started haunted him, cruel and relentless.
James had presented the idea casually, almost as a joke. "If you get close to her, Remus, I swear Lily will go out with me. She said she’d only agree when our grumpy friend finally had a boyfriend."
Remus remembered Sirius laughing when he heard the plan, how he had crossed his arms and commented on how impossible it would be to win you over. "She’s not the type to fall for tricks, Prongs."
But James, with that confident smile and unshakable determination, insisted. And Remus, for reasons he didn’t even fully understand at the time, agreed. Maybe it was James’s persistence, or the need to help his friend get what he wanted so badly. Maybe it was curiosity. Or maybe, deep down, he already knew there was something about you that intrigued him.
At first, that was all it was. A simple, almost harmless plan. He would get closer, gain your trust, and then James would have his chance with Lily. But nothing went as he expected.
You were different. From the very beginning, Remus realized there was something about you he couldn’t ignore. The way you spoke, with a calm tone but filled with passion for what mattered to you. The way you laughed, a sound that seemed to light up any room, even though it was rare. The way you looked at him, as if you saw beyond the scars and the calm facade he tried to maintain.
He started with small gestures: sitting next to you in class, starting casual conversations in the hallways. And every time you smiled at him, something inside him melted. He liked being the cause of that smile. He liked hearing you laugh, seeing your face soften when he made some silly comment to ease the tension.
And then came the kiss.
Remus would never forget that moment. He didn’t know exactly how it happened—maybe it was the way you looked at him that afternoon, the sun setting and bathing your face in golden tones, or maybe it was the way your soft laugh filled the silence between you. But he knew he couldn’t resist anymore.
When your lips met his, it was as if the world had stopped. There was no bet, no guilt, nothing but you. He felt his hand tremble slightly as it touched your face, but when you returned the kiss, when your fingers found their way into his hair, Remus knew that was the best moment of his life.
And that was why he couldn’t confess.
Every time he thought about telling you the truth, the fear paralyzed him. He knew he had started it all for the wrong reasons, that he had lied to you, but now... now you were the most important thing to him. He didn’t want to lose you. He couldn’t lose you.
But the weight of the guilt was unbearable. Every smile you gave him, he felt the knot tightening in his throat. Every intimate moment, he hated himself a little more. He wanted to believe that what you had was strong enough to survive the truth, but a part of him knew that the revelation would destroy everything.
And now, as he walked through the empty hallways of Hogwarts, trying not to think about the sound of your broken voice, Remus knew he had made the wrong choice. He should have been honest. He should have told you everything before it was too late.
But he didn’t. And now, he didn’t know how to fix what he had broken.
Tumblr media
The reunion happened days later, at the end of a quiet hallway near the library. You had gone there to find a moment of peace, away from curious glances and whispers that seemed to follow you wherever you went. But, as if the universe insisted on testing your strength, he was there.
Remus was leaning against the wall, his face marked by exhaustion, his brown eyes fixed on the floor as if carrying the weight of the world. When he heard your footsteps, he lifted his gaze, and the air seemed to vanish from the space.
"I... I didn't know if I should be here," he started, his voice rough, as if he had rehearsed those words a million times and still didn’t know how to say them. "But I needed to see you."
"Why?" Your voice was cold, distant, but inside, everything was in ruins. "What more could you possibly say, Remus? What’s left to explain?"
He took a step towards you, but stopped when he saw the way you instinctively stepped back. The pain on his face was almost tangible, but it was nothing compared to what you felt.
"I know I messed everything up," he said, his voice breaking. "And I know it's selfish of me to want to talk to you after everything. But I can’t... I can’t just let you go without trying, without telling you how much you mean to me."
"Mean to you?" You repeated, laughing without humor. "Remus, I was a bet. I was just a means to an end. And now you want to tell me I mean something?"
He shook his head, his eyes pleading for understanding. "It wasn’t like that... it’s not like that. Yes, in the beginning, it was because of James. But from the moment I truly got to know you, everything changed. You changed everything. I know this doesn’t erase what I did, but... I love you."
"Don’t say that," you whispered, your voice trembling. "Don’t make this harder than it already is."
"But it’s true!" He took another step, and this time you didn’t back away, even though you wanted to. "I love you. I loved you from the moment I realized you were different from anyone I’ve ever met. From the moment you let me into your life, even when I didn’t deserve it."
You stared at him, your heart racing, and the pain you had tried to suppress overflowed. "And that’s what makes it worse, Remus. Because, despite everything, despite the lie, despite the betrayal..." Your voice faltered, but you gathered all the courage you still had to say the words you feared the most. "I still love you."
The silence that followed was deafening. Remus seemed to freeze, his eyes wide as he absorbed your words.
"You have no idea how much this hurts," you continued, your voice barely a whisper. "I love you, Remus. And that’s what’s destroying me, because I know I can’t trust you. I know that every time I look at you, I’ll remember that it all started with a lie. And I don’t know how to deal with that."
"I didn’t want to hurt you," he said, his voice filled with desperation. "If I could go back in time, if I could change anything, it would be this. I never would have been part of that bet. I would have gotten to know you for you, not because of James’s stupid plan."
You laughed, but it was an empty sound, devoid of joy. "That doesn’t change anything. You made a choice, Remus. And now we both have to live with the consequences."
He approached slowly, as if every step was a silent plea. "Then tell me what I can do. How can I fix this? Because I can’t imagine my life without you."
"There’s no fixing it." Your voice was firm, even as your heart seemed to shatter. "Some things, Remus, can’t be repaired. Some things just break, and all we can do is accept it."
For a moment, you stood in silence, the world around you fading as you looked at him, trying to memorize that moment. Because you knew it would be the last.
"I wish things were different," you finally said, your voice so low you could barely hear it. "But they’re not. Please, just... go away."
His gaze shattered, and for a moment, he looked as if he was about to say something more. But then he simply nodded, the heavy silence settling between you before he turned away, his footsteps echoing through the empty hallway.
You waited until he disappeared before letting the first sob escape, as painful as the feeling inside you.

Nothing but Hate: Azriel x Rhysand!Sister!Reader
Warnings: Angst, Smut, 18+, Slight Eris x Reader
***
You grinned wickedly at the male in front of you, a dagger held tight in each hand. His golden eyes flashed with warning, hands lit up blue. You circled each other slowly, each sizing up the other.
You moved first, flinging a dagger towards his stomach. A flash of blue met the blade, disintegrating it in front of your eyes. Your smile dropped from your face, and you threw the second one rashly. It missed, as you knew it would. You groaned, hands coming up to cover your eyes.
“You’re up here to train,” Azriel chided, “so why don’t you act like it?”
You dropped your hands and turned to glare at him. “Has it ever occurred to you I have more important things to do than this?”
He rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. “Like what? Organizing your pretty little ball gowns? Polishing your countless tiaras?”
“I provide valuable intel to this Court,” you said, slowly looking him up and down. “Something you could learn a thing or two about.”
His eyes narrowed. “I do my job well. Your brother would not keep me employed if I didn’t. Or do you doubt the judgement of the High Lord?”
You gave a dramatic pout. “Oh, did I hurt your feelings? I care not what my brother does with you and that other brute. I was raised to gather information under the guise of a sweet, innocent lady.” You made a show of batting your eyes, lips in an exaggerated pout. “Males crumble far too easily.”
Rhys had been trying to get you and Azriel to get along for the better part of the last century. Something about him irked you to your bones. Cassian wasn’t much higher ranked in your mind, but you could at least tolerate him. You felt you would never know why your brother had latched on to these two idiots.
“You think rather highly of yourself, princess.” He spoke your title like it was an insult.
“I don’t see any great cause for why I should not,” you shot back, head high. You knew exactly what you were worth.
“Stuck-up brat.”
“You enjoy being my brothers bitch?”
Azriel opened his mouth to retort when he was cut off by a sharp yell.
“Enough!”
The two of you turned to see Rhys storming into the training ring. “I cannot think with you going at it like little children!”
“Well if he-“
“Rhys, she’s-“
“I said, ENOUGH.” Rhys stopped in front of you, hands coming to massage his temples. “You are being insufferable. I will not listen to your ceaseless bickering any longer. Figure out how to get along, or you will both be reassigned to the training camps.”
You and Azriel gave sounds of protest, quieted by Rhys holding up a hand. “I do not wish to hear it. I’m giving you one last chance. If you complete this mission without trouble I will allow you to yell at each other as much as you want. Otherwise, say goodbye to your nice little lives here.” He looked pointedly at the both of you. “Am I understood?”
You both grumbled your agreements, waiting to be given instruction. “Good. Now, I need you to go to Autumn. Beron is hosting a ball this coming week, and I need intel on what it is he’s doing. I do not trust the Vanserra’s, especially with Lucien’s recent departure.” He frowned deeply. “His father is a truly evil man. I want eyes on him.”
You and Azriel nodded, understanding the importance of this mission. Regardless of how you felt about each other, Rhys was right about the evil that runs the Autumn Court.
***
You stared at yourself in the mirror, a deep dread weighing down on you. You ran your hands over the front of your gown, watching the minuscule diamonds in the black fabric sparkle in the light. It was a stunning garment by all accounts, with the flowing skirts and romantic off-shoulder neckline. You looked every part the Night Court Princess, simply attending a ball as a Lady should.
Accompanied by…Azriel.
A knock at the door reminded you of his irritating presence. You walked over to open it, silver heels tapping on the ground.
“Are you-“ He began, stopping as he looked you over. You couldn’t help the smirk that made its way onto your face.
“Speechless, Shadowsinger?” You quipped, winking at him. That brought him back to reality and he rolled his eyes before begrudgingly holding an arm out for you to take.
“I would almost say you’re beautiful, but then you had to go and open that annoying little mouth of yours.” You pinched his arm under your hand, though you noted that the usual bite behind his words wasn’t all there.
This night was extremely important to the both of you. You had to figure out a way to work together. Neither one of you wished to go to the training camps, far away from your home. It sent a chill down your spine to recall the ways you were treated anytime you were at them, and you didn’t dare to think what it would be like if you were there alone. Truthfully, you were a little angry with Rhys for this level of threat. Was the punishment equal to the crime?
“Let’s just get this over with, Azriel.” You were looking forcibly ahead, otherwise you would have seen the worry that flitted over his face.
***
Evil as Beron was, he knew how to throw a party. The ballroom of the Autumn Court castle was dressed to the gods, golden elegance dripping from every inch. The male himself sat on an intricate wooden throne, a crown sat atop his head. His sons stood in a line next to him, each dressed in varying shades of orange and red. You carefully surveyed the room, putting on a show like you were admiring the decor.
Beron took note of you quickly, standing to loudly welcome you. “Princess! Come, let me introduce you to my sons.” You gave a shy smile and made your way over to him, playing the role Rhys had instructed you to. “Your brother tells me he is interested in a possible match between our Courts,” Beron continues, too loud for comfort. You knew the offer of your hand would go to his head. The elusive, dark, Night Court heiress betrothed to one of his sons? How could he resist?
You gave a small nod, glancing over at his sons lined up like prizes for you to select. “I am honored that you would deem me a good match for any of your sons, my lord.” You could almost feel the laugh Azriel held back at your demure tone.
Beron smiled widely, placing a hand on your back to lead you to the line of males. “Eris, my eldest and likely heir, would be your most advantageous match,” he drawled. Eris held his hand out for yours, placing a gentle kiss on your knuckles.
“It is an honor to be considered by the Princess of Night.” His voice dripped with honey-like sweetness, a gleam in his eyes that drew you in. You couldn’t help the light blush that crossed your cheeks in his presence.
“The honor is all mine,” you said with a curtsy, biting your lip when you looked back up at him.
“Would you like to dance?” He asked, as gentlemanly as expected. You bowed your head in agreement before letting him lead you out to the dance floor.
A shadow swirled briefly around your ankles, a subtle sign from Azriel. As annoying as he was, you knew you could trust him to keep you from danger. You made a point to catch his eye over Eris’ shoulder, a silent gesture that you understood his message.
Eris placed one hand on your waist and held yours in the other, a proud smile on his face. You allowed yourself to be immersed in the music, following his every move like you’d spent hours practicing together.
“Have you been to this Court before?” He asked you, spinning in a circle. “You do not look familiar.”
You shook your head, giving him a small laugh. “My brother does not like it when I travel far without him.” A sweet, innocent answer.
“He does not trust you, then?”
“No, I would not say so. He simply…worries, doesn’t he?” You tilted your head in the direction of the other sons. “Do you not worry for your brothers?”
Something flickered in his eyes as he looked over, an unspoken pain. “Them? No.” He looked back at you. “Not those ones.” You understood what he was saying, the unspoken message behind his words. The brother he worried for was long gone, away in Spring. You gave his hand a gentle squeeze, letting him know you understood.
Eris spun you out and pulled you in, your back hitting his chest as his arms wrapped around you. He bowed his head enough for his breath to tickle your neck, your body giving an answering shiver. “You’re not like the other High Court ladies,” he whispered in your ear, before spinning you back out and away.
You turned into him again, his hand coming back to its spot on your waist. “And you are not like other High Court lords,” you responded with a playful smile.
“How so?”
“Well, usually they hardly ever let me speak,” you laughed when you said it, playing it off like a joke.
“Hmm,” he said, the hand on your waist sliding to the small of your back as he pulled you in closer, “then they do not know the enjoyment they are missing.”
The song had ended, the two of you left standing there improperly close. You were lost in his eyes, in the secrets he held in them. He leaned down and for half a second you believed he was going to kiss you.
And you were going to let him.
Instead he moved to whisper, “Would you like to see something special?” You nodded, and allowed him to lead you off the dance floor and out of the ballroom. A small voice in the back of your mind warned you that running off with a male you did not know was not the safest choice, but Eris made you feel safe. You could only hope his actions matched his words.
You were pleasantly surprised when he lead you to a library, books up to the ceiling. Everything was made of dark wood, shelves as if the trees simply grew that way. A roaring fire warmed the room, the smell of cinnamon and old parchment welcoming. “Oh, Eris,” you said in awe, “it is beautiful.”
He came up behind you as you stood in the center of the room, lost in the beauty around you. He wrapped an arm around your waist, hand splayed flat over your stomach, the other resting on your arm. He bent his head again, lips millimeters from the bare skin of your shoulder. You couldn’t help the way you leaned into him, the mission you were on long forgotten.
“I thought you might enjoy this,” he hummed, placing a soft kiss on your shoulder. “Not many care to come here. My father especially.” You felt the angry twitch in his fingers at the reminder of his father. You turned your head to look up at him, recognizing the longing in his expression.
“I am sorry,” you began, “about Lucien. I imagine that has been hard on you. Being forced to pretend you do not care.” He stayed quiet, looking at you with an intensity you had never experienced. Like it was the first time anyone had seen him.
“You are not what I thought you would be,” he whispered, before leaning down and capturing your lips with his. He kissed you with the passion of a thousand suns, his mouth moving with yours in their own dance. You turned in his arms to press your chest flush against his, your arms twining around his neck as you pulled him closer. Eris groaned at your touch, one hand coming to tangle its way into the hair at the back of your head.
He started moving the two of you until your back hit one of the bookshelves, never breaking the kiss. Tongues created art as the two of you lost yourselves in each other. “Eris,” you moaned when he moved his lips off yours, instead running them up and down the skin of your neck. He growled in response, one hand slowly gathering the skirts of your dress. Your breath was coming in fast spurts, his teeth dragging along your skin making you forget everything you were supposed to be doing.
“Say my name like that again,” he murmured against your skin, your skirts up high enough that he could slide one hand onto your thigh.
You opened your mouth to oblige when he was suddenly ripped off of you, the stark coldness of reality washing over you. You were stunned, still panting against the bookshelf as you took in the scene in front of you.
Eris was thrown backwards, slumped against the shelf across from you. You started to rush towards his unconscious form, concerned for him. You knelt by his side, gently laying his limp body all the way down as you looked over him for any serious injuries.
“Oh, give it up,” came an angry voice, and you shot your head towards Azriel.
“What is your problem?” You yelled, standing once you ensured Eris was otherwise okay.
“My problem? My problem? Maybe it’s the fact that we were sent here on a job, and you are too busy whoring yourself out to care!” He was glaring at you, shadows swirling angrily around him.
“You’d better rethink your words, Shadowsinger,” you warned, dark lightning flickering at your fingertips.
“Relax, princess. Rhys is calling us back.” He looked over at Eris on the ground. “Sorry to interrupt your little…moment,” he said, sounding not very sorry at all. You looked sadly back at Eris, worry still creeping in your mind. Azriel noticed, rolling his eyes. “He’ll be fine. We will not be if we do not go,” he emphasized, grabbing on to your arm.
“Fine.”
The two of you hastily winnowed back home, Azriel flying once your powers grew weary. You did not inherit the Illyrian wings from your mother, much to your dismay. Especially in this moment, in which you had to be in Azriel’s arms as he flew you high above the ground.
“What did you see in him?” He asked, breaking the chilly silence that had ensued since you left the Autumn Court.
“What?” You asked, shocked by his question.
“I mean, they’re evil, aren’t they? The Vanserras?”
You looked out over the night sky, quiet for a moment. “I believe some of them are. I believe Eris pretends to be.”
“I see,” Azriel mused. “But…why choose him?” You turned to look at him, puzzled.
“Azriel, are you jealous?” You teased, waiting for him to act disgusted.
Instead he remained silent, his arms tightening around you ever so slightly. You stared at him for a long time, processing the underlying meaning in his actions. “Az?”
He reacted then, looking at you sharply. You had never called him by that name. “I do not know what you mean,” he finally said.
The rest of the flight was done in silence.
You were thankful when you finally landed back at the House of Wind, the marble under your shoes a welcome feeling. A cool nights breeze blew through the balcony as you turned to Azriel.
“Well, thank you for not abandoning me in the Autumn Court,” you joked, trying for a smile.
His expression stayed stoic. “I would never have left you.”
You blinked at the intensity of his words. It was then that you noticed how closely he was standing to you, how he was looking at you. It was rather similar to the way Eris had looked before he had…
You backed away abruptly, stumbling slightly in your heels. Azriel caught you smoothly around the waist, hand burning you through the fabric of your dress.
“Azriel,” you whispered, “Rhys did not call us back, did he?”
“No.”
“Ah.” Your body was trembling in his grasp, a barrier dangerously close to being crossed as he tugged you flush against him, his nose tracing the slope of your neck. “Then why did you say he did?”
His hands fisted the material beneath them as he inhaled your scent. “I couldn’t stand it.”
You hated the way you were reacting to him, the fire coursing through you. It was entirely different than the way you had felt with Eris. This was more. Much more. You took a shaky breath before asking the question you already knew the answer to.
“Couldn’t stand what?”
Azriel brought his head up, eyes boring into yours. A century of untold feelings swam behind them. “I couldn’t watch him touch you any longer,” he began, one hand coming up to caress your throat. “It was driving me crazy. His lips on your skin, his hands on you.” His thumb rolled across your pressure point, pressing down ever so slightly. An embarrassingly needy noise fell from your lips. “Gods,” he breathed, pressing a kiss to your jawline. “I’ve held back for so long. Forcing my feelings down,” he started kissing down your throat, down your shoulder. Following the same path Eris had left a mere few hours before. “I chose to become your enemy instead, someone you couldn’t stand,” he bit down on your shoulder, dragging a soft moan from you as his tongue soothed the marks his teeth left. “But watching him touch you? The way I should be? No,” he laughed cruelly, dropping to his knees in front of you. You looked down at him in shock, heart racing at the hunger in his eyes. “I couldn’t let him have you.”
You reached behind you for the railing of the balcony, grasping onto it like it was your lifeline. “Azriel,” you whispered, watching him lift the bottom of your skirts. He kissed your bare ankle, eyes catching yours once more.
“Tell me to stop, and I will.”
Yet the both of you knew you weren’t going to. His lips continued their transgressions up your leg, painfully slow. He was leaving dark marks in his wake, a reminder that he was there. Your hand twisted in his hair when he reached the top of your thigh, leaving one final mark for you to see in the morning. “Az,” you gasped, feeling as though you were going to erupt into flame at any moment. “Please.”
He smiled wickedly at you, tearing your underwear off of you a moment later. You gave a small shriek at the action, eyes wide as you looked at the torn garment. He allowed you no chance to comment, his mouth on you before you even knew what to say.
“Oh,” you moaned, head falling backwards. His tongue swirled around you like you were the most delicious desert he had ever tasted. He sucked onto your clit, ripping a loud cry of his name from you. You were lost in the haze of lust and pleasure, all the years of anger and hate gone as if they never existed.
He continued the sins he was committing with his tongue while his fingers ran up to join. You moaned his name again and again as one pushed inside of you, curling in the exact spot you needed it to. Cool shadows swirled around your burning skin, a sensation so intense you weren’t sure you could handle it. He added a second finger, stretching you pleasurably. “Azriel, I, oh, Az,” you gasped out, unable to form coherent thought. He kept his movements steady as one shadow wrapped around your throat, squeezing just enough for you to moan again.
Eris was long gone from your mind.
Azriel continued working you, clearly pleased by the increasing volume and intensity in which you were saying his name. You knew you were close, forcing your orgasm at bay as long as possible. You wanted to live in this moment forever. He touched you like he had studied you for years, like he knew exactly what would make you tick. In his hands you were nothing but clay for him to mold, creating the beautiful sculpture that was this moment. Your body began to shake as he kept steady, thrusting his fingers in and out of you while humming against your clit.
That was all you needed to explode against him.
Your fingers tightened in his hair, your head thrown all the back, mouth open in a silent scream. Stars exploded behind your eyes, the sensation of your orgasm rolling through you. Azriel pushed you through it, prolonging the feeling as long as possible. He didn’t cease his actions until you were gasping for air, his name falling from your lips like a beautiful song. Only then did he slowly pull away from your wrecked body, standing to hold you steady.
One hand came to gently cup your face, thumb running lovingly over your cheek. “How long?” You asked, leaning into his touch.
“Since the first day I met you.”
You sighed, shaking your head. “Then why lie? Why battle me for so long?”
He looked guilty, moving to rest his forehead on yours. “You are his sister. I was scared.” He took a shuddering breath. “It was too risky. You were off limits, you see. He had explicitly told Cassian and I to not even think about it,” he gave a humorless laugh. “Being around you was overwhelming. Everything in me was screaming for you. I had originally decided to just be friends, that I would settle for that.” The arm around your waist tightened. “But even that was too much. I needed you, and the longer I went without you the more i began to lose it.” His eyes turned sad. “I had to push you away.”
You shook your head, tears pricking at your eyes. “Sometimes I hate my brother,” you whispered, a century long confession on the tip of your tongue. “For it has been the same for me all these years. So long, in fact, I forgot why I started to dislike you in the first place.” With that, you closed the remaining space between you, pressing your lips to his.
A hundred years of lost emotion poured from the both of you, holding on to each other like you may disappear. You kissed Azriel like this was the only chance you had, allowing him to open your mouth with his.
Passion flowed between the two of you, the taste of yourself on his tongue reigniting the fire under your skin. He whispered your name over and over against your lips, like a prayer he had been longing to say. In that moment the two of you were the only ones who existed.
“Well, this is most certainly not what I meant when I said I wanted you to get along.”
Your eyes shot open as you pulled your lips from Azriel’s, looking widely at your rather angry brother. “I, uh, hello, Rhys,” you stuttered, taking a step away from Azriel. Who, in fact, was having none of that, and immediately pulled your lips from back into his arms.
“Rhysand,” he said coolly.
“I would be careful with your tone if I were you, Azriel,” Rhys warned, anger simmering in him. “That is my sister.”
Azriel simply tightened his hold on you, capturing your lips in another kiss. “So she is.” He looked back at your brother. “Yet she is also my mate.”
Mate. Mate?
No.
Surely you didn’t spend a century warring with your fated mate, because your brother was too much of a hard ass to allow you to make your own choices?
No.
It couldn’t be.
And yet, at his declaration, you felt it in your soul. The golden bond tying the two of you together.
You glared at Rhysand.
“Brother, you and I will speak tomorrow.” Azriel leaned his head down to press a kiss against your neck, mumbling “or in a week.” You swatted him away, ignoring the laugh he let out. “But for now, you will go. I do not care where, but you will leave us be. Do you understand?”
Rhys stared at you in disbelief, not used to having someone else boss him around. “Well, I, but,” he spluttered, looking around the balcony as if for someone to save him. “You’re my sister!”
You gave him an exaggerated nod, speaking slowly. “Yes. I am. I am also fully grown and capable of making my own choices. Now, I suggest you leave.” Azriel happily began peppering kisses over your skin again. “Immediately.”

The Christmas Present
One-shot
PAIRING:  Roman reigns x OC Starr
Word Count: 5,832
Warning: Smut
What do you do when your bestfriend you've known all of your life tells you he wants to unwrap you for christmas and you've always wanted him to be your first?
Sorry this one was late, it was requested months ago and i'm finally working through requests in my inbox. Happy New Year everyone
Tumblr media
As I made my way inside, I felt somewhat out of place as it seemed I had walked into a tense situation as Jey guided me further into the house. I already was two hours late because I had to help my mom wrap some gifts for my niece.
“Jey, who was that yelling before you opened the door?” I asked. “Just Sarah acting a damn fool,” he said continuing to guide me through the beautiful two-story home.
“Wait…Sarah, as in Roman’s cheating ass ex…Roman told me she was history.”
“Oh, she is…..Has been for about months but won’t take the hint.”
Everything seemed calmer now that I was inside, as Christmas music filled the room, and everyone seemed to be in their own world.
Seeing a few familiar faces, I waved but stayed close to Jey as my eyes scanned the room finally spotting Roman and Sarah talking in the corner.
His stoic expression and powerful stance made many nervous but not me. I could tell he wasn’t pleased she had crashed his party but was trying to be respectful.
“How is he really doing, Jey?” I asked as he sighed looking at his cousin shaking his head. “He’s on edge you know, especially with the back-to-back losses. Big Uce, is getting better though.”
“I’m sorry I couldn’t make Alfa’s funeral; I wanted to be there.” I said looking at my best friend really taking him in. He looked so tired, his beautiful beard more full and now had spots of gray.
“Starr, stop that…..You came home to be with us for Uncle Sika’s funeral, stood in the gap for me and was there for big Uce.”
“Hey, that’s what family does,” I assured him giving him a hug.
“I’m glad you home, we be worried about you.” he whispered as I caressed his back.
“I’m fine, besides I didn’t re-enlist this time, twenty years in the Airforce is enough,” I said as Jey held me tighter.
“I am so happy for you…I know he's gon’ be happy you back home. I mean it is for good right?”
“Yea, I’m home for good.”
“Good, cause that beautiful house you bought deserves to be lived in.”
“I know and thank ya’ll for helping mama keep it up for me.”
“You know dat wasn’t a problem. We were just worried about you all the way over in Italy by yourself.”
“I know but at least I’m home now.”
I knew how much they worried about me, but I was so thankful they supported my decisions. We had all been inseparable since the age of five, so it was a big change when we all graduated, and all went our separate ways.
The twins and Roman went off to college and I went into the Airforce following in my father’s footsteps. What can I say, we were some ambitious young people with the world at our fingertips.
“Booger we missed you!” Jimmy yelled, pulling me out of Jey’s arms scooping me up in a hug bear hug as I rolled my eyes.
“Ugh get off me, you just always have to bring up that mean ass nickname,” I hissed as he put me down laughing.
“Ignore him, you know he’s special,” Trin jokes slapping him on the shoulder as Jey cleared his throat trying to stop laughing.
“Aye, it ain’t my fault she kept a booger nose when we were kids.”
“Just like it ain’t my fault your bed stayed pissy when we were kids,” I countered as Jey and Trin busted out laughing.
“Daaaammmn! She got yo’ ass.” Jey laughed as Trin, and I embraced.
Our banter cut short as we heard Roman raising his voice. “Look just leave, Sarah!”
“I ain’t leaving without you! We can work this out!” she screamed as I looked at Trin and she shook her head as Jey’s wife Candice came over.
“Can you believe this shit?” she asked as Jey pulled her close and kissed her on the temple.  “Bae, let it go.”
“I mean how you cheat on somebody and now you here begging like ain’t shit happened?” Trin asked as I shook my head as Jimmy tapped me on the shoulder gently.
“What do you have in mind, sis. I see you thinking over there?”
“I’m gonna get Roman outta here, maybe have him take me home so he can get a break,” I said looking at my watch realizing it was close to 11 :00 anyway.
“You do that, and we will get her outta here, then shut down the party and lock up,” Trin said as I left them heading towards the ex-couple.
The look of happiness on Roman’s face when he spotted me made me smile as he ignored Sarah, scooping me up in his arms as soon as I was within arm’s reach.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming home,” he whispered in my ear as I chuckled. “What’s the fun in that, now come take me home..I want to give you your Christmas present” I whispered feeling the tension leaving his body.
“Shit, I been ready for that.…let’s go, you ain't gotta tell me twice,” Roman said ignoring Sarah putting me down as Jey tapped her on the shoulder.
“Aye, time to go shawty, party is over for you,” he said as she scoffed.
“Wait, so you gon’ throw me out Jey and you leavin’ with her Roman!? Roman…Roman come back!” she screamed as Roman, and I headed towards the backdoor.
---
Roman’s POV
I looked back just in time to see Trin grabbing Sarah by the arm leading her out of the living room. Something tells me that I wouldn’t have a problem with Sarah after tonight by the look on Trin and Candice’s face.
They both had been looking for a reason to beat her ass since they found out she had cheated on me and was still sniffing around.
I was anxious to be alone with Starr. The last time we were alone we almost crossed a line, there was no coming back from, but we stopped ourselves.
As I helped her in the car, I really didn’t even know how to approach the elephant in the room. Closing her door, I gave myself a pep talk as I walked around to the driver’s side.
“Don’t fuck this up, just be in the moment with her.” If it happens, it happens. If it does or doesn’t nothing changes between ya’ll.”
Four months ago
“Roman we got to stop,” Starr panted as I kissed her neck, my hands roaming her body.
“Why..This what we both want,” I moaned pulling her closer wrapping her legs around my waist grinding against her as she gasped in shock.
“I do but You’ve been drinking, and so much is going on. You’re not thinking clearly.”
“Oh, so now it’s something wrong with me because I want to make love to you. You told me, you wanted me to be your first, remember.” I said throwing back a conversation we had months prior.
“Roman, I do but you know right now isn’t the right time. Roman, stop you’re drunk and this isn’t you,” Starr moaned finally pushing me away as I held my hands up in the air in surrender.
She was right.. I didn’t know what had come over me, maybe it was the alcohol and everything that had happened.
“Look, I’m sorry… I’ll just crash in the other room,” I whispered grabbing my shirt not wanting to make the night worse.
“Roman, I want us to ta-”-
“Talk? Is that what you were about to say? Well, I’m tired of talking to people.. I just- I just wanted…. Look forget it, this was obviously a mistake coming here, so I’mma crash in your spare bedroom.”
“Roman, we gotta talk about what all this means, you can’t just turn off your emotions. You got to talk about it,” Starr pleaded as I shut down.
“Look, I buried my dad a few days ago…Things will never be the same for me ever again and I just wanted to be close to you.  I thought you felt the same, and I just made an ass outta myself. What else is there to talk about.”
“I do want - I-I-just not like this, please-”
“Starr, I’ll catch you in the morning before I head out,” I said leaning over kissing her tenderly on the forehead before leaving the room ignoring her pleas for me to stay.
I made a total mess of things that night, but Starr never judged me. We went about things as usual and had never discussed that night. Two weeks ago on the phone she asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I laid it all out on the table.
“I sent your present off today; I hope you like it since you wouldn’t cooperate and give me some idea of what you wanted for Christmas.”
“You ain’t ready to know what I really want for Christmas, especially since you’ve been all I’ve been thinking about for the last four months.”
“I've been thinking about you too. I wish I could be there in person but I’m still waiting to find out if they approved my leave or not,” Starr said moving around her kitchen as watched her every move.
“ You know what i really want for christmas....
"What?"
"I just want to unwrap you and get lost in you.".
"Roman."
"Aye, you asked and I told you . The shocked look on her face making me shrug my shoulders. Hell I ain’t have nothing to lose at this point. One thing my father's passing taught me was that life was too short, and i'm gonna go after what I want...And I wanted Starr.
“Roman, stop playin’ with me.” Starr stuttered nervously as I chuckled.
“I’m serious, you asked me what I wanted for Christmas.”
“Well, I wasn’t expecting you to tell me that you wanted me as a Christmas present.”
“Even if it’s only one night I can’t imagine a better gift than to get lost in you.”
“Roman-”
"Beautiful tree, fireplace, and you under me writhing in pleasure as I take you to heights you couldn’t dream of,” I groaned hearing her gasp.
“You’re not playing fair, this is dangerous,” she whispered as I smiled.
“I love danger,” I said dropping my voice an octave deeper knowing it was driving her crazy. I knew it was because I knew my Starr.
“Ro-”
“Tell me you ain’t curious, especially after what happened that night? Look just think on it.”
Man, I still can’t believe I said but it got us here..Well at least I hope. Listening to her hum along with the Christmas songs on the radio brought me out of my thoughts.
“I-I-I don’t want a lot for Christmas,” she sang softly as I felt my heart flutter.
“Alright Miarah Carey,” I joked as she blushed. “Don’t do me, I can carry a little tune.”
“Yea, you can which is why I just let you do your thing,” I said pulling into her garage.
“Oh, you pulling in the garage like you know you staying,” she joked getting out the car as I felt my dick jump in my pants.
“I wouldn’t be against it,” I mumbled getting out following her close. Her phone ringing almost startled her as she sighed picking up.
“Ma’ I just made it home,” she said putting the phone on speaker walking around cutting the lights off downstairs as I unplugged the tree.
“Damn, you meant you weren’t staying long when you said it, huh? Did you get to see everyone?”
I smiled hearing her mom giving her the fifth degree as Starr shook her head.
“Yes, I saw everyone Ma… The guys are fine, matter fact Roman just dropped me off,” Starr said putting her finger over her lips as I chuckled following her upstairs.
“Mama, I’m about to go to bed and I will be over before Riely gets up.”
As soon as the door closed, I closed the distance between us wrapping my arms around her trying to ease her nerves. “Relax….I gotchu,” I assured her as she blushed.
I mean it’s one thing to talk on the phone and talk about what you want to do, but to actually do it is another thing. I knew as bad as I wanted to be with her, if she said no I wouldn’t push the issue.
“Roman are we really about to do this,” she whispered looking at me in wonder as I gently kissed her on the forehead.
“Only if you want..I don’t want you to do something you don’t want,” I confessed truly giving her an out even though inside I was pleading with the gods that she wanted me just as much as I wanted her.
The thought of being the first man to make love to her stirring something primal within me.
“Make yourself comfortable. I got to get outta this dress,” she whispered putting her phone down heading into her master bath putting any questions I had to rest.
“Take all the time you need.”  Heading over to the fireplace, I took my coat off. The beautiful vintage Christmas tree illuminating her bedroom. The ice sickles hanging from the tree with the old school Christmas lights and ornaments were a beautiful touch.
Starr’s POV
“Ok….Just calm down. This is Roman not some stranger. You’ve wanted this since you were fifteen,” I whispered trying to build up my courage, pulling my dress off and jumping in the shower.
What if I disappoint him…..Fuck, what if he disappoints me?
Who the fuck am I fooling, Roman knows what he’s doing. I’ve seen this man and the shit he does when he’s on TV. What if I get addicted to him, I mean it’s supposed to be one time right?
My mind instantly thinking back to Sarah, even though she cheated, Roman still has her ass sprung…. Getting out of the shower I was still trying to make heads or tails of the situation I found myself in.
“You ok in there Starr?” Roman's deep voice penetrated the walls as my thighs clenched thinking about him penetrating something else. That damn voice.....Gives me chills...Oouu, I wonder does he talk you through it?
Damn, I’m officially in my brain and nervous as shit now.
“I’m ok, just got out the shower, I’ll be out in a minute,” I said drying off as I heard him move away from the door. Get it together Starr, you a grown ass woman and this is what you both want..Stop making it complicated."
Who am I kidding, it is complicated…I love him…I’ve loved him since high school…”Yea, this is a bad idea,” whined quietly before taking a deep breath up because even if it was a bad idea, there was no turning back now.
After putting on some lotion I tied one of the red satin Christmas bow sashes I had ordered around my breasts and another around my hips. Yea, I wanted him to get the full picture of unwrapping me from top to bottom.
Slipping on my robe I came out to see him sitting on the edge of the bed admiring the tree.  “I turned on the fireplace.”
“Um, thanks. The bathrooms all yours.” I almost forgot to breathe as he stood up and took his shirt off.
“Thanks, beautiful. I promise I won’t take long,” he said dropping a tender kiss on my forehead before going in the bathroom. I finally released the breath I was holding when he closed the door, and I heard the shower start.
Taking off my robe, I turned the covers down. “It’s a night of fun…Just enjoy, don’t think.” I kept repeating to myself over and over as I laid on my side and faced the bathroom patiently waiting for Roman…I mean good things do come to those that wait.
Hearing the water cut off, I sat up on my knees anxiously waiting for him. A newfound confidence took over me as the door opened and I heard his sharp intake of breath as he stood there clad in only a towel. His body still glistening, and hair wet.
“Damn, you look so beautiful,” he whispered licking his lips as I bit my lower lip nervously.
“Merry Christmas,” I whispered reaching my hand out to him as he slowly made his way towards me dropping his towel.
Oh…My…God..He is a Greek God…Keep your cool Starr.
“Are you sure?” he asked his voice thick with need as I blushed only pulling him closer truly taking in all of him for the first time.
“I don’t want you to fe”-
Grasping his hands I placed them on the satin bow, my eyes never leaving his. “I want this, and I want it to be you.”
I couldn’t help but moan as I watched him through hooded eyes. “Just let me know if you want me to stop,” he whispered, our lips finally touching and like a moth to a flame I surrendered. The unbridled passion behind it taking my breath away.
“Unwrap your Christmas gift, Roman,” I whispered as his hands touched the satin red bow, a low groan escaping his lips as his eyes trailed over my body.
The fact he was so turned on and unsure where to start made my heart race. The sexy deep groan his that spilled from his lips as my hips moved against him made my pussy purr in need.
“Shit, you look so beautiful like this…Anxious to give yourself to me.”
His voice…Oh my god his voice.
“Please, Roman,” I pleaded as he licked his lips. “Can I unwrap my Christmas present,” he murmured as I nodded anxiously.
“Use your words… Can I have my Christmas present now?”
“Yes, you can,” I gasped as he finally untied the sash. Leaning down, his mouth enclosing around my breasts, taking his time exploring each one as I squirmed beneath him ready to come undone from the sensual action as his eyes never left mine.
“Mmhm, I knew you were sensitive. Bet you so wet,” he rasped. Moaning softly, I entangled my fingers in his hair as he feasted upon my breasts seemingly determined to stay there having discovered how sensitive I was.
“Roman, I need it,” I pleaded. His hands cupping my breasts kneading them together as he took both nipples in his mouth devouring them as if they were his last supper. His gaze still piercing my soul.
“Fuck, just thinkin’ bout you, got me bout to cum?” he mumbled as his mouth continued to ignite a deep fire within me as his kisses move passed me stomach, his tongue swirling, then dipping inside my navel.
“Go lower, please.”
“You taste so good, baby.” He praised, as I writhed beneath him. Hand hands masterfully untying the second red satin bow leaving me now fully exposed.
“Merry Christmas to me,” I faintly heard him whisper, the first stroke of his long tongue against my pussy almost making me cum as I gasped looking down at him in shock.
“Roman!” Shit he’s dangerous, that was just one stroke. Watching him flatten his tongue, with each long stroke I became more undone.
“Umhm, it’s Roman and I’mma bout to make you cum all night. Now hold dem legs for me,” he commanded bending them towards my chest as I compiled.
Roman’s POV
The quiver in her legs and pleasure etched across her face as I made love to Starr with my tongue will the imprinted in my mind forever.
The strangled whine that escaped her beautiful lips as I began thrusting my third and forefinger along with my tongue continuously stroking her, ignited a deeper purpose within me….
To blow her fucking mind… For her to feel what it was like to be with me…Hell, to ruin her for every man after me that would even dare try to have her writhing under them in pleasure.
“You gon’ cum sweetness?” Yea, that’s her new nickname from now on..Pussy sweet like honey.
“Yes, I’mma cum…. Ooouu, right there..Right there….Fuck, just like that, Roman, don’t stop,” Starr cried as my fingers and tongue moved in sync determined to make her cum harder than she ever has.
“Yes! Oh, fuck Roman!” Starr screamed, her legs falling onto my shoulders as her back arched in pleasure satisfying my thirst for the moment.
Fuck, I love a good squirter… “Good fuckin’ girl,” I praised, removing my fingers, grasping her hips, wanting more…I needed more.
“Roman!” Starr squealed as I flipped her over onto her knees spreading her legs slightly.
“What are y-”
The words dying across her tantalizing lips as I laid between her legs on my back straight Salivating at the sight of her dripping pussy above me. “I want you to sit on my face and I want you to nut like you ain’t never nutted before,” I commanded as she looked apprehensive.
“Roman, I’m too bi-”
Not giving her a chance to finish her that thought I pulled her onto my face moaning in appreciation as she began to wind her hips slowly.
“Is this what you wanted?” she gasped, planting her hands on my stomach beginning to ride my face with more confidence, chasing the nut she craved.
“Fuck yea, this what I wanted.” I moaned against her pussy smackin’ her ass before getting back to business.
Starr’s POV
The feral growl that fell from Roman’s lips as I rode his face sent chills down my spine. His beard, mouth and tongue all together were kryptonite.
His dick standing at attention, glistening with precum and begging to be sucked wasn’t helping my thoughts either. It was too tempting; I needed to taste him.
Moaning, I leaned down licking the sensitive mushroom shaped head as Roman hissed tearing his mouth away from my pussy.
“Gon’ put it in your mouth, Starr. Don’t be scared, suckdat dick.” His words making my body tingle in excitement as he continued his assault on my pussy with his masterful tongue.
I wanted to see how much of him I could take in my mouth and with each strategic bobbly of my head, I took him deeper as Roman nearly bucked me off his face…
Got’em….I may be a virgin, but I got some secrets myself.
“Fuck, that’s how you get down?” he groaned momentarily stopping his assault.
“Mmhm, surprise,” I whispered after coming up for air briefly before getting back to the task at hand as he growled, “Fuck," before diving back in himself as our moans filling the air.
Suddenly I began to feel that familiar coil gathering in my stomach, my body tingling all over. Releasing his dick from my mouth, I sat up and began riding his face with a purpose.
“Yea, take whatchu want from me, sweetness,” he moaned gripping my hips, moving me faster as my legs began to shake reducing me to a chanting mess..
“Oouu, Roman- Yesyesyes,” I moaned stroking him faster in sync with my hips.  His beard, mouth and tongue had me on demon time and he knew it.
“Give it to me,” Roman growled as I came undone. “Roman! Fuck..f-f-fuck here it comes,” I cried at my body exploded coating his face with my juices as he happily and greedily drank.
“Mmhm, I love that shit, tastin’ so fuckin’ sweet…. Sweetness gon’ be your new nickname, baby girl.” I heard him whisper between slurps as I indeed had cum harder than I ever had before, still continuing to stroke him riding out my high.
I was euphorically drunk on him, but I wanted him to feel just as good as he had made me feel. Catching my breath, I leaned down taking him once again in my mouth.
“Fuck, I don’t wanna cum yet,” Roman groaned as I turned, kneeling between his legs.
Oh sir, you put that mouth on me like that…You about to get this nut…..Period.
Steadying my hands on his welcoming thighs as I tended to the task at hand, innocently staring up at him. “Yea….Take it all for me..Fuck that feels so good. You’re such a good girl.”
Humming in agreement, I refused to stop sucking him tortuously slowly and deeply as he gripped my hair.
“Suck dat shit, girl…..Damn.” Roman groaned bending his knees, planting his heels, accepting his fate.
“Fuck, here it cum, just for you, sweetness,” he growled cummin' hard.
I almost came myself watching him. As long as I live, I will remember the look on his face. Cracking a small smile, I opened my mouth for him to see his cum coating my tongue as he bit his lower lip.
“Mmm, does my sweetness spits or swallows?” Roman asked, his deep voice making my pussy drip as he caressed my face, desperate to know my answer to his question.
“Who says I can’t do both,” I whispered, letting his cum spill from my lips onto his dick as it jumped in response.
“Mmm, my good girl," he whispered watching through hooded eyes.
“Oops I made a mess…..Let me clean up behind myself,” I mumbled once again taking him in my mouth greedily sopping his cum back into my mouth and swallowing it.
“Fuck!” He moaned, his resolve crumbling in a heap. “I’mma fuck da shit outta you,” he professed taking me in a searing kiss that left me breathless and on my back at the foot of the bed before I could blink.
My senses on overloaded as his hands roamed my body “Please, Roman, I need you so bad,” I pleaded as we both looked down at our bodies about to become one as he slipped past my wet folds.
“You sure baby,” he whispered as I nodded pulling him closer. Both of us lost in the moment as he slowly rocked his hips. Suddenly feeling pop and burst of pain.
“UMPH!” I cried, clinging to Roman as he looked at me with indescribable passion in his eyes as we shared a tender kiss.
“Look at my good girl learning how to take my big dick. You doin’ so fuckin’ good,” he moaned grasping my thighs continuing to slowly slip inside deeper inside me.
“Roman, I-I,” I whined, overwhelmed as he caressed my face. His body trembling against mine as he’s fighting an internal battle within himself to take it slow and not lose all control.
“Mmm, I know it…I know it baby.. God, thank you so much for choosing me,” he whispered showering me with kisses as I relaxed against him.
“I wanted you to be my first,” I gasped, starting to somewhat relax in spite of the pain. “Yea, that’s it, relax beautiful….Your Ro Ro's gotchu,” he whispered, filling me more and more with each thrust of his hips as I tried to breathe through the pain.
“Ro! It’s too much,” I cried pushing at his stomach as he went deeper kissing away my tears. “I know it seems that way baby, but I’m almost in. I promise it’s gon’ feel so good, move your hands.”
“Ro-”
“You trust me?” he asked gently kissing my forhead as I nodded “Then mov’em for me.”
I complied and with a snap of his hips, he bottomed out as I clawed at his back. “Roman! I feel so full, I – I can’t,” I gasps as Roman captured my lips in a passionate kiss.
“Yes, you can..Breathe….Just breathe sweetness,” he whispered against my lips surging forward, my pain suddenly becoming something more with each powerful thrust….
“Roman, faster,” I pleaded wrapping my legs around him. “Yea…..There she go, there’s my good girl,” he moaned as my hips moved against him. “You feel so good,” I cried as Roman buried his head in the crook of my neck.
“Fuck, I can’t wait to cum inside you, you feel so good… You gon’ let me cum inside you, baby?”
“Bear, please-”
“Answer me, Starr?” he groaned, even more turned on as my other pet name for him escaped my lips.
"God, yes!"
“Uh huh, you gon’ let your bear fill you up, I promise it’ll feel so good,” he rasped marking my neck as I clawed at his lower back and nipping at his shoulder as he properly dicked me down.
“Fuck I want to cum inside you so bad..Tell me I can again," he moaned angling his hips taking me by surprise.
“Yes, I want you to cum inside me,” I screamed, the new position and thrusts sending chills down my spine, making my toes curl.  Lifting one of my legs in the air with a firm grip on my heel Roman continued to rearrange my insides, lifting his head slightly to watch me.
Roman’s POV
“You’re such a good girl, Starr… Savin’ this good ass pussy just for me, and you gon’ let me cum inside her. Just my good girl, ain’t you?”
“Mmhm, only your good girl,” she moaned, her words filling my heart with relief and love.
“Only my good girl…..Damn, I love how dat pussy creamin’ listen to that shit, she just purrin’ ready to squirt for me again.”
The squelching sounds, as I claimed her, along with our bodies colliding, filled the room. A blush suddenly crept onto Starr’s face as she listened and tried to bury her face in my neck as I praised her.
“I been waitin’ for this Starr…Let me see you, beautiful,” I moaned willing her eyes to mine as I bit my lip in anticipation and appreciation. Fuck, she looked and felt so good, I want to keep her this way forever. Up under me begging me to make dat pretty pussy cum again and again… Merry Christmas to me, indeed.
Fuck, why we waited so long to do this. And the fact that I am the first man to ever be be inside her makes my dick get even harder and I didn’t think that was possible.
She just doesn’t know what she’s done, we’re tied together forever now.
Starr’s POV
“I’m ruinin’ you for any man thinking he can have you cause’ he can’t.” Roman growled as our lips met in a sloppy kiss as our tongues battled for dominance with me finally surrendering in the end to his power.
“Dat pussy jus pulsin’ for me and suckin’ my dick back in, get it baby. Get dat nut...Sweet ass pussy, just coatin’ my dick,” he moaned, as I began to lose my grip on reality.
His words, his nasty words making me wetter as I writhed under him searching for my next release. “I know what you need…My sweet Starr needs to cum, don’t she?”
“Yes, I need it, Roman,” I begged as he bit his lower lip. His hair framing his beautiful face, looking like a real-life romance novel cover coming to life as he continued his delicious torture as I pulsed around him, helpless as he continuously brought me to the edge to only to pull back.
“Please let me cum,” I whined as his other hand went under my arm gripping my shoulder trapping me as he began to thrust harder and faster.
 “You ready baby?”
“Yes!.... I-I’m close!”
“I gotchu, just let it go, baby,” he encouraged in my ear releasing my leg and moving his hand between my thighs, stroking my sensitive throbbing clit, as his lips swallowed my cries of passion.
Feeling bold, I reached down and placed my hand on top of his moving his fingers faster against my clit as he growled feeling the spasms taking over my body.
We couldn’t stop; it was too hypnotizing as we both looked down watching his dick sink deeper and deeper inside me. “Cum for me, let it out Starr. Stop fighting it.”
“Mmh, here it comes…. Just for you,” I gasped beginning to squirt.
“Fuck yea..Squirt for bear,” Roman moaned pulling out, slapping his dick on my pussy before thrusting back in, taking me hard, fast and deep.
“Shit! I- I-” I cried out losing my train of thought gripping his ass, totally fucked out as I came undone again for him.
“Oh, fuck yea, give me it all…. Fuck, here it cum, just for you,” He groaned cummin’ in a violent rush, grinding his hips into mine, bowing his back prolonging our euphoria before collapsing beside me.
His breathing ragged as I my body continued to spasm in the aftermath.
“Fuck, you are dangerous, Starr,” Roman chuckled as I looked at him like he was crazy.
“No, your ass is dangerous,” I whispered blushing as we shared a gentle kiss, trying to come back down to earth.
“Thank you for tonight.” I whispered against his lips as he shook his head.
“No, thank you for choosing me.” And in that moment no other words were spoken i as we just wrapped ourselves up in each other and were just were us.
A little while later, Roman ran a bath and helped me clean-up, which I have to say was the most erotic thing I had ever experienced.  He washed me from head to toe, taking his time kissing and caressing my body.
This didn’t seem or feel like a one-time thing, but I was scared to ask, and I didn’t want to make it weird.
“You know I could have done this myself?” I whispered enjoying soaking in the warm water as he kissed my neck. “Not when you’re with me you won’t,” he said as I smiled. “Are you sore?”
“A little but the warm water is helping,” I said reassuring him I was ok. His alarm going off made us both sigh. “Santa duties are calling mister Reigns. You know if Uncle Roman doesn' have that barbie dream house  put together and waiting in front of the tree for Harmony it’s gonna be hell to pay.”
Every year, Roman goes over to his sister’s after the kids fall asleep to help put out their gifts and put their toys together. It's a tradition for them every Christmas and birthday.
“I know, but I hate to leave. I don’t want it to seem-”
“Roman, it’s ok I’m fine, I’ll see you later on today.” I wanted him to stay but I knew he needed to go. After sharing a gentle kiss, he stood up to leave.
“You sure you good,” he asked, stopping by the door.
“I’m good Roman, give Savannah and the kids my love.”
He seemed so torn about leaving, so I gave him a small smile. “Merry Christmas, bear,” I whispered as he smirked. It was almost as if he was remembering what had transpired tonight.
“Merry Christmas, Sweetness.”
“Roman!” I blushed as he shrugged his shoulders. “I told you that was gon’ be your new nickname from now on and I meant it.
“Don’t say it around people,” I hissed as he smiled. “Why not, only you and me will know what it means?”
“I know you…You’re gonna say it in a flirty way and Jey's gonna figure it out and run it in the ground.”
“So, what-”
“Roman!”
“Fine, I’ll try but I ain’t making no promises but seriously thank you for my Christmas present, sweetness.
“You’re welcome and thank you for um...”
“You don’t have to say anything baby girl…Just know this ain’t over between us, cause’ I’ll have you know; you were the best I’ve ever had, and I don’t plan on letting you go.” And with a deep groan, he left the room before I could respond.
“Well i guess there is my answer……Merry Christmas indeed Mr. Reigns, because I’m not letting you go either.”

Weird ask, but do you have any headcanons on how male mobians hide erections? Seeing as they typically don’t wear clothes/pants I’d imagine they’d either have to get creative or maybe it’s just not a thing that occurs. Either way, how’d you think our main three hedgehog boys would tackle trying to hide their arousal from reader? (whether or not it’s a matter of an actual erection or just their excitement)
Tumblr media
kajdjnf okay let me answer all this under cut since it’s explicit
i always assumed mobians born with a penis had weird biology that included both a cloaca & an anus. (if an animal has a cloaca, that is its only orifice down there but i am going to say sonic the hedgehog probably has a butthole lol. so while it’s not biologically possible in real life, for mobians anything is possible!)
which essential means that their penis would be hidden under their fur in a “chamber” which you would only be able to see when erected because that’s when it would slide out into visibility.
or at least that’s what my furry artist friends tell me they believe LOL
to answer the other part of your ask though ;)
Tumblr media
it’s quite hard to hide the beginning of an erection when it starts, the red tip likely starting to peak out between the fur between when they’re excited but surely there is something that could be done?
♥︎
sonic has the easiest way out. all he has to do is yell out that he needs to go do something real fast and he’s off like a bolt of blue— giving you no time to notice that he had become quite excited.
his go-to is normally to rub it out fast, he’s the fastest thing alive after all! he can definitely cum in just a few seconds if he’d like to. get it over with quick and easy..
although it’s very noticeable that something is off when he comes back to your side. his face is flushed and he’s sweating a bit but hey the erection went down and you didn’t even notice! just don’t press him too hard about why he looks so embarrassed…
♥︎
when shadow gets aroused, he’d rather just try to ignore it. he’s the ultimate life form, shouldn’t he be able to control his bodily reactions? he’s rather annoyed it even happened.
to hide it from you, he’d likely try to put his hands in his lap or cover his lap with a blanket or pillow— or something. something discreet. he wouldn’t want to alert you.
if you pressed him on why he’s acting so weird, he’d probably try to brush it off, telling you it’s nothing, to not worry about it and then get annoyed if you keep pressing him. he’s not actually mad at you—! just more-so embarrassed and annoyed he couldn’t keep it down.
later, when the two of you are alone in an intimate place, he would likely try to get you aroused this time to counter his earlier embarrassment.
♥︎
silver gets all jittery, his leg noticeable shaking and his face flushed when he’s aroused. it’s likely very easy to notice that something is up with him because he’s bouncing his leg and refusing to meet your eye.
if you press him on it, he probably jumps up and exclaims that he has to pee! and, so he’ll run off and shut himself in the bathroom. he is too nervous about the whole ordeal to just rub one out there so he likely tries to stay in the bathroom until it calms down.
if you question him against when he comes back, he’ll likely avoid your gaze and still looked flustered, making up some reason about how he had to pee really badly but didn’t wanna go at the time or something. not really believable and honestly you could get the truth out of him easily if you pressed him on it.

A YULE PROPOSAL | J.P X READER
word count \ 1.1k | fluff and stuff | slash / james potter x reader
in which james asks you out to the Yule Ball author's note at the end!
Tumblr media
A YULE PROPOSAL | JAMES POTTER X READER
James Potter was many things.
He was a cheerful kind of person. Always upbeat, always uplifting no matter what. He was popular, almost anyone wanting to be with him or be him. A bit of a jock, though caring nonetheless. Loving to a fault, fault line nonexistent in his mind.
Though one thing that anyone could tell when looking at him was that he was in love with you.
You were always being spoiled by him. He’d get you expensive gifts, or take you on expensive trips. Small cafe dates, shopping for clothes and jewelry, or making any small gift was a specialty of his. He adored spoiling you, in any sense of the word.
And now it was Yule season coming up. He was nervous to ask you, even though he knew you'd say yes. You two were dating, after all.
So, he had to come up with a plan.
Tumblr media
“Are you serious James?” Remus asked, eyebrows furrowed in utter confusion and desperation. “You don’t actually expect us to do this, do you?”
“Yup!” he smiled brightly at Remus. “You’re gonna do it with me, right Pads?”
“Course I am!” he chuckled brightly, standing up and patting James on the back proudly. “Anything to spend my mom’s money on useless stuff.”
“It’s not useless!” he gasped offendedly.
“Yeah, yeah,” Sirius said, patting James on the head as best as he could. It wasn’t much, but it was an honest effort. “Whatever you say, Prongs.”
“Course it’s what I say,” he grumbled before sighing, looking at Remus and Peter. “Please?”
“10 Galleons.” Remus said sternly, holding his palm out. “I want payment or I’m not doing it. 20 and I’ll give you the best damn performance.”
“30 and I get to dress you up.” Sirius smirked, hands on his hips.
“50.” he said, voice as deadpanned as he could make it. James knew he would do it for free, that was what Remus was like. But this seemed too funny to interrupt, if he was being honest.
“Deal.” Sirius said with a wide smirk on his face, fiddling with his pockets before putting the 50 Galleons in his hand. “Pete? 50 Galleons?”
“Do I have a choice?” he asked.
“Nope.” Sirius said with a smile.
Peter sighed softly, shaking his head. “Fine.”
“Yes!” Sirius said excitedly, him and James jumping up and down.
“Okay, I have a game.” he said, pulling out a large piece of rolled paper to lay against the Common Room’s coffee table.
Tumblr media
There was a large amount of rain hitting your window, your eyes focused on the paper that you were studying. It was nearing the end of the exams, not just Yule season.
Speaking of Yule season, you were quite excited. James hadn’t asked you to go to the ball. You knew that it was probably just stress though, so you weren’t too mad about it.
He had exams just like you, not to mention leading the Quidditch team and tolerating his friends’ pranks. Most times, you weren’t sure how he did it.
All in all, he had a lot of responsibilities.
Which is why you didn’t mind if he didn’t ask you to go to the ball. You decided to take a break from studying, looking outside of the window. Your eyes squinted to look at the different trees and forms of nature outside, the breeze running through your room.
“M’lady!”
Your eyes squinted a bit harder as you heard someone calling, looking down at the ground. There stood Peter, one of James' friends.
You stuck your head out of the window confusedly, looking down at him. “Pete?”
“M’lady!” he smiled brightly, though a bit awkwardly.
You chuckled at that, though you weren’t sure why he was standing in the cold like that. “Why are you just standing outside?”
“I am awaiting the Majesty.” he said, voice echoing through the night.
“The what?” you smiled awkwardly.
Then came the sound of neighing, though you could tell it wasn’t from an actual horse. You frowned, making your way downstairs and towards the door he was standing in front of.
“What on Earth,” you muttered confusedly.
There stood James with Remus and Sirius behind him, all three of them riding the fake pony sticks you’d buy as a child at a muggle store.
“We are here on behalf of Your Majesty, James Potter.” Sirius called out, dismounting himself from the fake horse. “He has requested your presence at the annual Yule Ball hosted in the Great Hall.”
“That rhymed,” Peter said with a small smile, chuckling softly. Sirius laughed loudly at that, with Remus stealing the paper from his hand.
“M’lady,” he said. “Sir James Potter, son of Fleamont Potter and first of his name, formally invites you, Y/N L/N, to the Yule Ball. Filled with fond fellowship and fellow acquaintances at the end of this month.”
James was standing behind Remus with a hopeful grin, the smile that you had come to love more than anything after years together.
“What is your response, Madame?” Remus said. His voice was incredibly deadpan, unlike Sirius and Peter’s laughter in the background. No doubt that he had practiced this.
“Yes,” you chuckled softly, eyebrows furrowed as you tried to figure out what was going on. In all honesty, you felt like you were in a fever dream.
“Yes!”’James cheered excitedly, jumping up and down and running around the field. Sirius followed after him in his dog form, barking excitedly as James cheered excitedly.
You chuckled quietly as you watched him run around, smiling as Peter came closer and crowned you with a paper crown.
“Thank you, Knight Pete.” you chuckled.
James eventually calmed down after a couple of minutes, walking up to you out of breath. “Hi love,”
“Hi James,” you laughed as you saw him try to catch his breath, moving the hair out of his face as best as you could. “Did you have fun?”
“I did!” he smiled gleefully, looking at you. “Did you?”
“Yes, I did.” you smiled softly.
He nodded, pulling you into a hug. “I love you,” he whispered in your ear, squeezing your body in his arms. “I really wanted you to have a good proposal. It did take me some time to think of it though.”
You smiled softly, hugging him back before you heard Sirius groaning.
“Lovebirds!” he groaned, making a ‘bleh’ sound.
“Oh hush!” James called out, throwing a ball of paper at him before turning over to you. “I’ll see you later then?”
“Later.” you promised, kissing his lips.
He smiled brightly at that, mounting his fake sticky horse and running off. Remus said a rather fancy farewell to you, climbing on the back of Sirius’ horse and running off. Peter was last, following them all to wherever they came from.
God, you loved James.

Hellooooo!
I have an idea and I am going to give it to you if you want.
Reader that is deaf, Yandere!Sonic, yandere!Knuckles, yandere!Shadow (separately) the bois didn't know that reader is deaf until eggman's robots decided to attacked them. They called out for reader but only to realize that reader is deaf.
A/n: these were kind of rushed
Yandere!Sonic/Knuckles/Shadow x Deaf Reader
Sonic:
Being around Sonic was always an adventure. His constant energy and carefree attitude could light up any situation, and for someone like you, Sonic's world was exhilarating. He’d often dash off mid-sentence, leaving you to guess what he was saying, but you didn’t mind. His antics spoke volumes on their own.
What Sonic didn’t know about you, however, was your deafness. You’d learned to adapt, reading lips, watching expressions, and observing the world carefully. Sonic, being Sonic, never noticed. His world moved so fast that he didn’t question why you didn’t always respond immediately or why you tilted your head to watch him so closely.
It all came down one day when Eggman’s robots attacked. You were walking through Green Hill Zone, enjoying the breeze, when the ground trembled beneath your feet. Sonic, as usual, showed up in a flash, shouting something. You didn’t catch it, but you smiled at him and nodded.
"Hey! You’ve gotta get out of here!" Sonic yelled, but when you didn’t move, his smile faltered. He darted to your side, grabbed your hand, and led you away from the battle.
As you both reached a safe spot, he turned to you, his brow furrowed. "Why didn’t you move when I told you to?"
You could tell he was upset, but before you could explain, another explosion erupted, and Sonic raced back. He took down the robots effortlessly, but his mind was racing faster than his feet. Something wasn’t adding up.
After the battle, Sonic confronted you again. His normally carefree demeanor was replaced by concern "Hey, you’re gonna tell me what’s going on, right?"
When you finally explained your deafness, Sonic’s eyes widened. At first, he was stunned, then guilty, and finally, protective.
"Oh, man... I had no idea. That’s why you didn’t move?" He paused, running a hand through his quills. "I can’t believe I didn’t notice. You could’ve gotten hurt!"
From that moment on, Sonic became glued to your side. He was always watching you, ensuring you were safe. He started learning sign language, obsessively practicing until he could communicate with you fluently. While his efforts seemed sweet at first, his protective nature quickly became suffocating.
"I can’t leave you alone," he’d say, standing in your doorway as you tried to explain that you needed space. "What if something happens? What if I’m not there to protect you?"
Sonic’s world was fast-paced, but when it came to you, he was willing to slow down, if only to keep you by his side.
Knuckles:
Knuckles wasn’t one for small talk. His nature meant he rarely spoke more than necessary, which suited you just fine. Your communication with him was largely through gestures and expressions, and he didn’t question it. To him, it felt natural, like the two of you shared an unspoken bond.
But that bond was tested the day Eggman’s robots came for the Master Emerald. You had been helping Knuckles keep watch, your presence a calming effect on him. When the first robot appeared, Knuckles barked out a command.
"Get back! I’ll handle this!"
You didn’t move, too focused on the robot’s sudden approach. Knuckles sighed in frustration, rushing to shield you. After taking down the first wave, he turned to you, his eyes blazing with anger.
"I told you to move! Why didn’t you listen? Are you even listening?"
Your confusion must have shown on your face, because Knuckles stopped mid-rant. His fists unclenched as realization dawned. "Wait... can you even hear me?"
When you shook your head, tears stinging your eyes as you signed your explanation, Knuckles froze. He wasn’t mad at you, he was furious with himself.
"I didn’t know..." he muttered, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it. "You’ve been here all this time, and I never noticed."
From that day forward, Knuckles became overbearing. He was always by your side, watching you like a hawk. He insisted on teaching you how to defend yourself, his training sessions grueling and relentless.
"You need to be able to protect yourself if I’m not there," he’d say, though the thought of leaving you alone made him sick to his stomach.
Knuckles’ obsession with your safety only grew. He’d isolate you on Angel Island, insisting it was the only place you’d be truly safe. "I alone, am capable enough to protect you" he’d say, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Shadow:
Shadow was observant by nature. It didn’t take him long to notice that something was different about you. You rarely reacted to loud noises, and your eyes were always focused on his lips when he spoke. Still, he didn’t say anything, content to keep his suspicions to himself.
That changed during a mission to stop Eggman. You were part of the team, assisting while Shadow handled the heavy lifting. When the attack came, Shadow barked out a command.
"Get to cover!"
You didn’t respond, your attention fixed on the approaching danger. Shadow cursed under his breath, teleporting to your side just in time to shield you from an explosion.
After the battle, he confronted you, his eyes narrowed. "Why didn’t you listen to me?"
When you explained your deafness, Shadow’s expression didn’t change, but his mind was racing. He hated the thought of you being vulnerable, especially in a fight.
"You should’ve told me," he said, his voice cold. "Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?"
From that moment on, Shadow took it upon himself to protect you. His methods were extreme, he shadowed your every move, ensuring you were never out of his sight. He even went as far as to demand that you stay out of battles entirely.
"You’re a liability," he’d say, though that wasntbthe full truth. Shadow didn’t see you as a weakness, he saw you as his responsibility. And in his mind, that meant keeping you safe at all cost, even if it meant controlling every aspect of your life.
"You don’t need anyone else," his voice soft yet chilling. "I’ll protect you. Always."

opposites attract!
summary: u and soobin have been in a relationship for a year! ur friends are wondering how u even made it in this far with ur constant bickering. but u know what they say, opposites attract!
genre: fluff, established rs
characters: bf!soobin x f!reader
words: 6.8k
warnings: nothing much
“Shotgun!” Taehyun shouts the moment he steps out of the apartment, earning a groan from Beomgyu, who’s already leaning against the car door. Kai, as usual, stays out of it, casually climbing into the back seat while the rest of you fight it out.
Calling your seat in Yeonjun's car was almost like The Hunger Games, a survival for the fittest.
“Taehyun called it,” Yeonjun says, already in the driver’s seat. “Rules are rules.”
“The rules are stupid,” you grumble, glaring at Soobin, who’s standing way too comfortably by the passenger door.
“There’s no way I’m sitting in the middle again,” he declares, crossing his arms. “You know how tall I am? My knees barely fit in the back!”
“You’re 6’1, not a basketball hoop,” you snap, shoving him lightly. “Kai and Beomgyu have legs too!”
Kai shrugs, already buckled in. Beomgyu, meanwhile, is no help at all, busy filming the argument for what’s definitely going to end up on his Instagram story later.
“Ugh, fine!” Yeonjun groans from the driver’s seat, drumming his fingers on the wheel. “You two are always fighting anyway—just sit on Soobin’s lap. We don’t have all day.”
“What?” you and Soobin exclaim in unison, but the group doesn’t even pretend to entertain protests.
“Why can’t Beomgyu sit on Soobin?” you ask, crossing your arms with an indignant huff. “Why is it always me?”
"You're his girlfriend." Kai sneers.
"That doesn't mean I want to sit on him!"
Beomgyu perks up, pretending to consider it. “You know, that’s not a bad idea—Soobin is comfy.”
“Absolutely not,” Soobin interrupts, glaring at him. “I’d rather walk to the park than have Beomgyu anywhere near me.”
“See? He wants you to sit on his lap,” Taehyun teases, smirking as he adjusts his sunglasses.
“This is ridiculous,” you mutter, but under the weight of everyone’s stares (and Yeonjun’s increasingly impatient groans), you give up.
Climbing into the back seat, you wedge yourself awkwardly onto Soobin’s lap. His arms come up instinctively to steady you, his chest warm and solid behind you, and you swear you can feel him smirking.
“This is so stupid,” you mumble, crossing your arms.
“Yeah, but you’re weirdly comfortable,” Soobin whispers back, just low enough for only you to hear.
“Don’t push it,” you grumble, though your cheeks flush slightly as Soobin chuckles, the low sound reverberating in your ear.
It was hard for anyone to believe that the two of you were actually dating. A solid year into your relationship, and yet the bickering never ceased—every outing, every hangout, every single day was a new battle of wits and sarcasm. Some found it downright exhausting, while others, like Beomgyu, found it endlessly entertaining. He often referred to you and Soobin as his “favorite sitcom.”
“Can you two ever go a day without fighting?” Taehyun asks from the front seat, adjusting his seatbelt as Yeonjun maneuvers the car around a sharp turn.
“That’s just how we communicate,” Soobin replies, leaning back with you still perched begrudgingly on his lap.
“It’s not communication,” you retort, twisting slightly to glare at him. “It’s you being insufferable twat every chance you get.”
“Well, look who’s still love with me despite being an insufferable– what did you say?” he says smugly, earning a collective groan from the rest of the car. “Twat.”
Beomgyu, filming yet another segment for his Instagram story, pipes up. “You know, if I didn’t know better, I’d think you two actually hate each other.”
“Oh, trust me,” you shoot back, narrowing your eyes at Soobin, “sometimes I wonder too.”
Sure, the two of you fought a lot. At times a little too much but as minutes go by his hands, which had been resting loosely at his sides, move slightly to hold your waist, and before you can comment, he leans forward, resting his chin on your back.
“You’re surprisingly comfortable,” he mutters softly, his voice carrying none of the teasing edge it usually does.
You roll your eyes but let him stay like that, the weight of his head against your back weirdly comforting. “If you fall asleep and drool on me, I swear—”
“You’d still love me,” he says, tilting his head just enough for you to catch the small grin on his face.
Unable to help yourself, you let out a small laugh and shift slightly, leaning your head back until it rests lightly against the top of his. “Unfortunately.”
From the front seat, Yeonjun glances at the rearview mirror and rolls his eyes. “Pick a struggle,” he says, earning nods of agreement from the others.
“Shut up and drive,” you say, though your voice holds no real bite. Soobin’s arms tighten around your waist ever so slightly, and the quiet affection between you is as natural as the constant teasing.
“You’re cute when you’re mad,” Soobin murmurs again, earning a playful elbow to his side.
“And you’re cute when you’re quiet,” you retort, though your words are softened by the fact that you’re still leaning into him.
Beomgyu snaps a picture of the two of you. “This is going straight into the group chat,” he announces, grinning like the mischievous troublemaker he is.
“Delete that,” Soobin and you say in unison, which only makes Beomgyu laugh even harder.
“While we’re on the subject of the group chat,” Kai sighs, “why is the name of it Kai’s Bouncy Recoils? With three peach emojis?” Kai sighs dramatically from the backseat, slumping into his chair. “Who changed it? I preferred our old chat name!”
“You mean Soobin’s Sooboobs Gets Loose?” Soobin asks, annoyed. “Yeah, I’d rather keep the current one.”
“Why can’t we have a normal group chat like other friend groups out there?” Kai grumbles.
“We have a Beomgyu. I hardly think we’d ever be a normal friend group,” you respond dryly, earning a chuckle from Soobin, who nuzzles his face into your shoulder.
“Fair,” Kai mutters, resigned.
The banter continues, and you’re pretty sure you got louder as the destination approached, well, until Yeonjun finally pulls into the amusement park parking lot.
“We’re here!” Yeonjun announces, his voice full of exaggerated enthusiasm, though he’s just excited for the giant cotton candy and overpriced churros waiting for him inside.
As you all pile out of the car, Soobin helps you out with a soft, almost imperceptible smile. “Still mad?” he asks, his eyes glinting with mischief.
“No,” you grumble, though the way he’s looking at you has your heart fluttering despite yourself. “But I might need a kiss to forget why I was mad.”
“Really, now?” Soobin smirks, taking a small step closer to you. He tilts his head, his smile playful but soft. “And what makes you think you deserve one?”
You cross your arms, trying to look serious, but the corners of your lips betray you. “I think I’ve earned it after sitting on an uncomfortable seat for the hour’s drive,” you say, voice laced with a mock pout.
“Uncomfortable?” Soobin’s smirk fades, and his expression softens as he closes the distance between you two. “You know,” he murmurs, his voice quieter now, “I’d give you a thousand kisses if it meant seeing that smile of yours more often.”
Your heart skips a beat as he reaches up, gently cupping your cheek. You can feel the warmth of his touch, and your annoyance from earlier seems to melt away entirely. “You’re lucky you’re cute,” you tease softly.
He chuckles before leaning in, pressing a sweet, lingering kiss to your forehead. "Baby, I know I am," he says with a wink. “Unfortunately, for me, I think you’re way cuter.”
The group, now standing in front of the entrance, takes in the sight of the bustling amusement park. Roller coasters whiz by, and the faint sound of laughter and music fills the air.
“So, what are we doing first?” Beomgyu asks, rubbing his hands together like an excited child. “Roller coasters? Ferris wheel? The haunted house? I’m down for all of it.”
You turn to Soobin, raising an eyebrow. “What do you think? Roller coaster or Ferris wheel?”
He looks at you with a mock grimace. “Well, knowing how much you’re scared of almost everything–”
“I’m not scared,” you say quickly, but Soobin raises an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced.
“I’ll hold your hand on the roller coaster if you are,” he teases.
“Oh please, you screamed louder than me last time,” you shoot back.
“Well, maybe I was scared because you were too busy clinging to me for dear life,” he retorts with a grin.
The back-and-forth continues, and despite the usual bickering, there’s an undeniable warmth in the way you both interact—an ease that only comes with knowing each other too well. As your friends move toward the entrance of the park, you and Soobin exchange a glance, a silent understanding passing between you both.
“Ferris wheel?” Soobin asks with a small smile.
You roll your eyes but can’t help but give in. “Fine.”
The queue for the Ferris wheel is crowded, all buzzing with the anticipation. Soobin, being annoying, pulls at the straps of your bag playfully as you try to keep your place in line.
“Cut it out or I won’t hold your hand in there,” you mutter, crossing your arms in an attempt to look firm, though it’s obvious you’re trying to hide the smile tugging at the corners of your mouth.
Soobin only laughs, his grin wide and teasing. “Sure you won’t. But I’ll probably be the one saving you when you freak out halfway up.”
“I’ll be fine,” you say, rolling your eyes dramatically. “You’re the one who screamed like a baby last time.”
“You’re exaggerating,” Soobin retorts, leaning closer and lowering his voice in a mock whisper. “I was just startled.”
“Startled?” you raise an eyebrow, a teasing smile tugging at your lips. “Were you startled for the entire 3-minute coaster ride?”
The banter goes on, getting louder as more people in line notice the playful back-and-forth. Soobin nudges you with his elbow, and you snap back, shoving his shoulder slightly. The tension between you both is palpable, your competitive streaks rising to the surface as the queue inches forward.
“Are you two done?” Beomgyu calls from a few steps ahead. “You’ve been fighting for like, twenty minutes! The noise Kai is making is less annoying than the two of you.” He says, referring to Kai’s sinuses.
“Hey!” Kai protests.
You stick your tongue out at Beomgyu, but Soobin’s hand finds its way to your back, gently guiding you forward.
“You’re just jealous because we’re clearly the most entertaining part of this trip,” you retort, eyes narrowing at him.
Beomgyu scoffs. “Sure, until you two are stuck on the ride arguing about who screamed louder.”
“Not gonna happen,” Soobin says, shrugging and flashing a cocky smile. “Since she insists she’ll be fine!” His voice dripping with sarcasm.
“Y’know what–”
At that, your friends collectively groan, the group starting to look a little too eager for this ride to actually get started.
"Can we just go on the ride without the constant commentary?" Beomgyu mutters, already glancing toward the other car.
Yeonjun rolls his eyes, nudging him forward. “You know how this goes. It’s either them arguing or them making lovey-dovey eyes at each other and making out every chance they get.”
“Well, I’d prefer the lovey-dovey eyes,” Taehyun adds dryly. “Less noisy.”
“And we don’t make out every chance we get!” You say, stomping your feet.
Kai, who has been unusually quiet, sighs heavily. “I swear we’ve all seen more drama from you two than from any of those netflix shows Soobin forces me to watch.”
And before Soobin or you can even respond, the group’s collective patience runs out. With a dramatic roll of their eyes, they all decide it’s better to physically separate the two of you from them for the ride. Yeonjun steps forward and, without warning, waves down the ride attendant.
“How many?” the attendant asks, looking between Yeonjun and the group.
“Four,” Yeonjun replies, nonchalantly.
“Four? But there are six of us?” You look at him in confusion, brows furrowing.
Yeonjun’s grin widens, and he shrugs. “Well, you and Soobin are getting a time-out.” He rolls his eyes before looking back at the attendant, “Yes, excuse me, we don’t want these two people in our car.”
“Yeonjun!” Soobin protests, surprised, his voice tinged with mock outrage.
The attendant, caught in the middle of this spectacle, nods awkwardly. “Okay, then. We’ll have you two head up first.”
Before you or Soobin can argue further, Beomgyu and Taehyun step forward, practically pushing you both into a separate Ferris wheel car with more force than necessary. The others, already in their own car, wave enthusiastically—at least, that’s what they pretend to be doing—before the doors shut.
“See you at the bottom, losers!” Beomgyu laughs loudly, giving a mock salute as the Ferris wheel begins to move.
Soobin leans against the side of the car, his arms crossed in playful annoyance. “I can’t believe they did that. We’re literally a couple,” he grumbles, but there's no anger in his tone—just amusement.
You roll your eyes and laugh, sinking into the seat beside him. “A couple of losers who constantly bicker.”
He smirks at you, eyes gleaming. “Well, if you didn’t have to be so stubborn, we wouldn’t fight so much.”
“Stubborn?” You shoot him a teasing look. “At least I’m not a scaredy cat!”
“A scaredy cat? Are we talking about me or you?” Soobin counters, raising an eyebrow.
“I don’t know. Let’s ask the audience who’s scream was louder.” You laugh, nudging his shoulder lightly.
Soobin chuckles, leaning in a little closer. “Maybe I should. But you’ve got to admit, it’s kind of cute when I hold your hand and make sure you’re okay, right?”
You pause for a moment, looking at him with a softened expression, the teasing momentarily forgotten. “Maybe,” you reply, voice quieter, almost shy. “But only because you’re cute when you do it.”
He raises an eyebrow, a playful smirk returning to his face. “So that’s a ‘yes’? I’ll take it.”
“Don’t get too cocky,” you warn, but the affectionate smile creeping onto your face gives you away.
As the Ferris wheel slowly ascends, you and Soobin settle into a comfortable silence... for about a minute, at least.
“You know, it’s honestly kind of amazing how you manage to find something to argue about at every possible moment,” Soobin says, glancing at you.
You raise an eyebrow, your voice tinged with teasing annoyance. “Oh, please. You’re the one who starts it half the time.”
Soobin scoffs, leaning back slightly. “Starting it? I’m just trying to have a normal conversation with you, and you’re the one who—”
“—finds something to argue about?” You finish his sentence, deadpan.
There’s a brief silence as you stare ahead at the view, trying to ignore the way your heart’s still pounding from his words. He knows exactly how to push your buttons, but right now, you’re honestly not in the mood to continue the back-and-forth.
Rolling your eyes, you fold your arms, turning your face away from him.
You hear Soobin shift beside you, and a second later, you feel the warmth of his body right next to yours. Before you can even think about protesting, he wraps his arms around you and places his chin on your shoulder, his breath warm against your skin.
“Baby,” He breathes, “C’mon, I was joking,” he giggles softly, his voice light and playful.
You try to stay annoyed, but his gentle touch is starting to break through your resolve. He pokes your cheek, a soft smile tugging at his lips. The contact sends a warm flush spreading across your cheeks, and for a second, you almost forget what you were even mad about.
Your gaze softens, but you turn your face away, still pretending to be angry. “I’m not laughing, Soobin,” you murmur, crossing your arms a little tighter.
He laughs, clearly amused by your act. “Baby, you’re so fucking cute when you’re mad,” he says with a grin, his voice dripping with affection. “Your little eyebrows furrowed, your pout... everything.”
To your surprise, Soobin mimics the way your lips pucker in an exaggerated pout, and it makes you burst out laughing despite yourself.
“Stop!” you say, shaking your head.
But it’s too late—he’s already leaning in, his lips pressing gently against yours. The kiss is soft at first, lingering for just a moment, before he pulls away slightly, his forehead resting against yours.
“I really do love you, you know?” he murmurs, his voice tender and genuine, the playful teasing fading into something more serious.
You look into his eyes, your smile softening. “I know. I love you too, even if you’re a pain in the ass.”
Soobin chuckles, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face. “You’re the best pain in my ass, though.”
The Ferris wheel crests its peak, and the two of you remain there, locked in your own little world, the sounds of the park fading away as you hold onto each other—teasing, bickering, and loving every second of it.
The moment the ride stops, Beomgyu is waiting for you at the base with a wide, mischievous grin plastered across his face.
“So, you two,” Beomgyu starts, voice dripping with sarcasm. “I have to say, you kinda looked like one of those korean dramas up there.”
You roll your eyes, trying to keep your composure. “What are you talking about?”
Beomgyu laughs, clearly enjoying himself. “Oh, I don’t know... just the fact that I could see you two getting all cuddly and—" He pauses, miming the kiss with exaggerated gestures. “—all kissy up there. How sweet. Almost puked from all that but it was sweet nonetheless.”
“Are you sure it isn’t your motion sickness?” You retaliate.
Soobin’s face immediately turns bright red, and he looks down, embarrassed. “Also, we weren’t even doing that much!”
“Oh, don’t even try to deny it,” Beomgyu teases, raising an eyebrow. “I could see everything. You two were so into each other, with all your whispering–and your kissing.”
You cross your arms, pretending to be annoyed but secretly amused. “I’m glad you enjoyed the show, Gyu,” you reply dryly. “It was probably the highlight of your day.”
Taehyun, who’d been mostly quiet, grins in amusement. “I think it’s cute,” he says with a shrug, causing you to look over at him.
Yeonjun chimes in, his voice dripping with sarcasm, “Yeah, if we ever need a lesson on public displays of affection, we’ll be sure to find the two of you!”
You shoot him a glare, but Soobin, still red-faced, turns to you, trying to lighten the mood. “See, this is why I didn’t want to go on a Ferris wheel with you,” he mutters under his breath, though his eyes are full of affection.
“Aw, don’t get shy on us now, Soobin,” you tease, poking his shoulder.
Beomgyu’s laughter rings out again as he steps closer. “I mean, come on. You two are adorable when you’re fighting, and even cuter when you’re acting all sweet. It’s kind of gross, though, so don’t do that stuff in front of us anymore.”
“You weren’t even supposed to be looking,” Soobin rolls his eyes, clearly flustered.
“You were right in front of us!” Beomgyu retorts.
“In another fucking car!” you yell back, still irritated.
“I swear,” Soobin mutters under his breath, rubbing his face in embarrassment. “I’m never going on a Ferris wheel with you again.”
“I’m sure you’ll change your mind,” you say playfully, bumping your shoulder into his and leaning in to give him another quick kiss.
“Not in front of the guys,” his cheeks turn bright red.
“Oh, like I haven’t walked in on the two of you,” Kai mutters from behind, sounding genuinely annoyed at the thought of one of your less-than-pleasant encounters.
Though it had been minutes since the little teasing, Beomgyu can’t resist continuing to poke fun at you and Soobin.
“So, do you guys kiss when you’re mad too?” he asks innocently, a mischievous glint in his eye. “You two really have the whole kiss and make up thing down, don’t you?”
Soobin, walking beside you, glares at Beomgyu with mock seriousness. “If you say one more word about us, I’m going to push you into the haunted house alone.”
“Oh, please,” Beomgyu laughs. “I’d rather go through that haunted house alone than deal with you two idiots.”
The group reaches the entrance of the haunted house, a towering, ominous structure lit by flickering lanterns. You can already see the look on Soobin’s face — dread. You know he’s terrified, but with his ego the size of a skyscraper, he’d never admit it. The tall, eerie doors creak open, sending a chill through the air as you all stand in line, waiting for your turn to enter.
Yeonjun looks at everyone, eyes gleaming with a mischievous shine. “Alright, who’s going first?” he asks, clearly amused by the thought of one of you getting freaked out.
“I’m not going first,” Soobin says quickly, clearly not thrilled by the idea of being the guinea pig.
Beomgyu steps up with exaggerated bravado. “I’ll go first. What’s the worst that could happen?” he says, shrugging.
The eerie atmosphere of the haunted house presses in as the group moves forward. The sounds of creaking floors and distant moans send chills down everyone’s spines, but it’s clear that each person’s fear tolerance varies.
Taehyun, who is walking at the front of the group, is already visibly shaking. His steps falter as a sudden noise echoes through the dark hall. "I can’t do this," he mutters, grabbing Yeonjun’s sleeve in panic.
Kai, trying to stay calm for his friends, pats Taehyun’s arm reassuringly. "Relax, it’s just a noise, you’re fine."
Soobin, walking close to you, keeps glancing over at you, clearly trying to make sure you’re okay. "Stay close," he says softly, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
You can tell he’s doing his best to mask his own nervousness, but it’s obvious he’s not as confident as he’d like to be. A sudden scream from somewhere further ahead makes him jump slightly, his grip tightening on you.
You glance over at Soobin, who’s walking a little too close for comfort. His eyes flicker nervously to every shadow, his hand occasionally brushing against yours. It’s clear that both of you are trying to stay calm, but the fear is written all over your faces. You’re both trying to play it cool, but you can’t shake the feeling that something’s about to jump out at any moment.
Suddenly, a loud bang echoes from the far end of the hall, and a ghostly figure stumbles into view. Soobin grabs your wrist, trying to pull you behind him, but you instinctively push him forward.
"BABY, PROTECT ME!" you snap, eyes wide as the ghost gets closer.
Soobin’s face pales. "I’m–I’m trying!" He pulls you behind him, but as the ghost takes a step closer, both of you stumble backward into each other, panicking.
“Move!” you shout, pushing Soobin in front of you in an attempt to shield yourself. "You’re taller! You’re supposed to protect me!"
"I'm trying, but you're the one shoving me!" Soobin argues, his voice tight with fear. "You're practically throwing me into the ghost!"
As the figure lurches forward, both of you panic and take a wild step to the side, almost knocking into each other. The ghost’s ghastly figure seems to loom larger as you stumble further away.
“Oh my god, stop shoving me!” you yell as you both continue to squabble, completely ignoring the creepy figure that’s getting closer.
"I’m not shoving!" Soobin retorts, but his feet trip over his own as he backs up, causing you both to crash into a wall. "Okay, maybe I am, but that doesn’t mean you have to do it too just because you’re scared!"
“I’m not scared,” you say defensively, though your voice cracks, betraying you.
Soobin’s eyes dart around, his expression stricken with terror. "Me neither, but—"
Before either of you can finish your sentence, the ghost lets out a chilling moan. You scream, and without thinking, you shove Soobin directly into the ghost, practically throwing him into its path.
“Soobin, look out!” you shout, covering your eyes in dread.
But just as the ghost reaches out to grab him, Soobin, completely panicking, pushes you in front of him with a startled shout. “No, you look out!”
You both fall into the ghost’s path at the same time, both terrified and scrambling away from the spooky figure.
“Stop pushing me!” you scream.
“You stop! You’re the one who shoved me first!” Soobin shoots back, his face flushed with embarrassment and fear.
Both of you continue shoving each other in a frantic panic, desperately trying to push the other in front of the ghost. You trip over your own feet, and before you can catch yourself, you fall hard onto the floor—right in front of the looming, terrifying ghost.
You let out a scream so loud, you were sure the entire theme park could’ve heard you. "AHH!!" You scramble to push yourself up, but in your panic, you can barely move.
Soobin’s eyes widen in horror, his own heart hammering in his chest. “BABY!” he yells, rushing toward you. Even though he’s just as scared as you, the protective instinct kicks in. “Dude, back off! Can’t you hear my girlfriend screaming?!” he yells at the ghost, his voice shaky but loud.
The ghost, not one to back down, takes another step toward you. But before it can do anything else, Soobin scoops you up in his arms without a second thought. You let out a surprised gasp as he lifts you, holding you tightly against him.
“Hold on!” he calls out, his voice filled with panic but determination. “I’m getting you out of here!”
Soobin doesn’t waste another second. He starts running, his arms firmly holding you against his chest as he bolts toward the exit of the haunted house. You can feel your heart pounding in your ears, and though you’re terrified, you can’t help but notice how tightly Soobin holds you, his presence a strange comfort amidst the chaos.
Behind you, your friends, who had been petrified just moments ago, now watch in disbelief, unable to contain their laughter.
“What the fuck was that?” Yeonjun scoffs in disbelief.
Beomgyu’s voice dripping with amusement. “Well, that’s one way to escape. Who knew you two were such drama queens?”
Taehyun snickers, shaking his head. “Thanks to the two of you, I wounded up being slightly braver.”
Kai laughs, patting Soobin on the back as he catches up. “You’re supposed to be the brave one, Soobin. What happened to all that ‘I’m not scared’ talk?”
“Would someone who’s scared actually carry his girlfriend to save her?” Soobin huffs, finally setting you down once you’re safely outside. He runs a hand through his hair, trying to calm his racing heart.
“Save her from what? A lawsuit for assaulting the fake ghost after she punches them?” Beomgyu teases, a smirk tugging at his lips.
You cross your arms, still shaking slightly but now able to catch your breath. “Shut up.”
Soobin leans in, his voice low as he whispers, “I’d do it all over again if it meant saving my little princess.”
You chuckle, but his sincerity has your heart fluttering.
Soobin blushes, his usual shyness creeping back. “I’m serious,” he says softly, his eyes still filled with undeniable affection for you.
Beomgyu grins, crossing his arms as he watches you two. “You know, I never thought I’d say this, but... you guys are actually kind of cute when you’re scared.”
You both glare at Beomgyu, but that only makes him laugh harder. The group continues to poke fun at the two of you, but it doesn’t bother you as much anymore.
Soobin gently nudges you with his elbow, his tone playful. “You’re kinda cute when you’re on the floor begging for your life.”
You raise an eyebrow, a small smirk playing on your lips. “Oh? You think I’m cute, huh?”
“I think you’re cute even when you’re yelling at me,” Soobin says with a soft smile, and for once, you let the teasing slide.
“Well, I think you’re adorable even when you’re running from ghosts.”
After hours of walking around the park, your feet are absolutely killing you. You glance down at your shoes—sandals, of course. You curse yourself for not listening to Soobin when he’d suggested wearing sneakers.
At this point, you were “slowing the boys down” with your constant complaining about your aching feet. Or so Beomgyu said. You told them to go ahead without you and even urged Soobin to join the group, but being the perfect boyfriend he was, he couldn’t possibly leave you behind. Especially since you were his favorite part of the day.
You limp a bit, trying to ignore the pain, but it’s no use. You groan, rubbing your feet.
Soobin, who’s been giving you the “I told you so” look all day, can’t help but lecture you again. “I told you, you should’ve worn something comfortable. You never listen.”
You roll your eyes, already annoyed. “Yeah, yeah. You were right. Happy now?”
“I’m always right, I told you back at home, in the car, twice just now” he says, a playful grin tugging at his lips. “And now look at you, your poor feet look like they’re about to give up on you.”
Your frustration bubbles over. “Well, maybe I’m not a psychic! I didn’t know these shoes would turn into torture devices after four fucking hours! I get it, Soobin. You’re right, I’m wrong. Happy?”
Soobin’s smile falters a little as he looks at you, sensing the frustration in your voice. He sighs and shakes his head, walking up to you without saying a word.
Confused, you raise an eyebrow as he bends down in front of you.
“What are you—”
“C’mon,” he interrupts softly, offering you a smile. “Get on.”
You stare at him, flabbergasted. “What?”
He raises his arms, gesturing for you to climb onto his back. “Get on, I’ll carry you.”
Your jaw drops, and for a second, you wonder if you’re hearing things. “What? No!”
Soobin doesn’t miss a beat. “Stop being whiny and get on,” he says, pulling you toward him gently. Before you can protest further, he presses a soft kiss to your forehead. “Can’t let my princess hurt herself now, can we?”
Your cheeks flush at the gesture, and your annoyance starts to fade, but you're still not convinced. “I’m not a baby, Soobin. I can walk just fine... kinda.”
“You’re clearly struggling,” he points out, giving you a playful smirk. “Plus, I’m stronger than you think.”
You cross your arms, trying to hold back a smile. “I’ll survive. I’m not fragile.”
“Sure,” he teases, his tone soft. “But I’d rather carry you than see you limp around all night. So, come on. You’ll thank me later.”
You open your mouth to argue, but before you can, Soobin scoops you up with ease, making you squeal in surprise. “Soobin!” you protest, your face heating up as he lifts you effortlessly.
He chuckles, holding you securely as if it’s the most natural thing in the world. “There we go. Comfortable?”
“I mean…” you mutter, trying to act annoyed, but you can’t help the small smile tugging at your lips.
“You love it,” he teases, walking steadily, not even breaking a sweat. “You can’t resist my charm.”
You roll your eyes but don’t say anything. Instead, you lean your head against his back, giving in to the warmth of his embrace. “You’re lucky you’re cute,” you mumble under your breath.
Soobin grins to himself, clearly pleased with your quiet acceptance. “And you’re lucky you have me to carry you,” he teases lightly, glancing over his shoulder with a wink.
You punch his shoulder gently, laughing despite yourself. “You’re the worst.”
“But you love me anyway,” Soobin shoots back, sounding completely smug.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” you reply, but the affection in your voice is clear.
Soobin slows to a stop, his grip on you steady as he gently places you down on a nearby bench. “Wait here, okay?” he says with a soft smile, already heading towards the ice cream stand.
You nod, though the thought of him leaving for even a moment feels oddly strange after the day you’ve had. But, as always, Soobin returns in no time, holding two ice cream cones with a grin. “One for you, and one for me,” he says, offering you the treat with a wink.
“Thank you,” you murmur, taking the cone from him. Your tiredness seems to melt away a little with the ice cream, but it’s the warmth of Soobin’s presence beside you that really makes you feel at ease.
You lean your head against his shoulder, the simple comfort of his touch making everything else fade away.
He gently nudges you with his elbow. “How’s your feet?”
You nod without lifting your head, your voice muffled against him. “Better. Thanks, Soobin,” you murmur.
Soobin raises an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming. “So you’re sticking with Soobin, even when we’re alone?”
You shrug, not meeting his eyes. “I’m not calling you baby when there could be people around.”
He leans closer, his voice teasing. “You called me that in the haunted house.”
“That was out of fear,” you counter, rolling your eyes.
He laughs as his fingers brush through your hair as you both take a bite of your ice cream, silence falls over you. Soobin’s hand stays resting on your shoulder, and the two of you share little glances between bites, your hearts feeling a little fuller with each passing second.
“This is nice,” you murmur, savoring the moment. “Just us. No Beomgyu, none of that ass recoil from Kai–”
“Don’t ruin the moment by bringing that up,” Soobin agrees laughing, his voice soft as he watches you, his gaze full of affection. “This–just us– it’s perfect.”
And for that moment, everything feels right. No arguments, no distractions—just you and Soobin, enjoying the simple joy of being together.
"Hey, do you really think we fight that much?" you ask, lifting your head slightly to glance at him.
Soobin looks thoughtful for a moment, then shrugs with a small smile. “We do argue a lot, but..” His hand finds yours, gently squeezing it. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t love you. Arguing—it’s just how we work through things. And if I’m being honest, I like our relationship. It’s fun. You keep me on my toes.”
You chuckle softly, shaking your head. "I guess you're right. Though, maybe we should try to fight less? My feet can’t handle all the stress." You tease, nudging him playfully.
He laughs, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Fine, we have a deal. I promise I’ll try to stop teasing you about your shoes, your height, how cute you are,” he says.
You roll your eyes but can't help but smile. "Well, I promise to stop making fun of you when you get all shy, or when you get scared, or–."
“Okay, I get it,” he grins, squeezing your hand a little tighter. “But, no matter what, I hope you know I still love you. Even when you’re grumpy.”
You nod, your heart warming. "I love you too. Even when you’re being a pain in the ass."
Soobin chuckles, his eyes flicking to your lips. “You’ve got a little something…”
“Huh?” you ask, obliviously licking the corner of your lips, which only makes him grin wider.
“Here,” he says, leaning in and brushing his lips against yours, the faint sweetness of your ice cream lingering. You blink in surprise as he pulls back, smirking smugly. “Got it.”
“Did you just…” you start, heat rushing to your cheeks.
“Yup,” he replies, casually leaning back as though he didn’t just send your heart racing. “Two birds, one stone.”
Before you can retort, a chorus of groans interrupts the moment.
“Oh my God, can you two get a fucking room?” Beomgyu’s voice rings out, dripping with exaggerated disgust.
“That just made me lose my appetite.” Yeonjun mutters, pretending to vomit.
The group stands a few steps away, all wearing matching expressions of horror.
“This is worse than the haunted house,” Taehyun mutters, covering his eyes.
“Why did we even beg them to stop fighting? They were so much more tolerable when they were arguing,” Yeonjun complains, shaking his head.
Kai crosses his arms, a frown forming. “Seriously, keep it PG. We’re in public.”
You pull back, face burning as you glare at the group. “Maybe if you weren’t spying on us—”
“We weren’t spying,” Beomgyu cuts you off, grinning. “You’re just impossible to miss when you’re eating each other’s faces in broad daylight.”
Soobin groans, rubbing his temple. “Can we just go back to fighting? Apparently, that’s what they prefer.”
“No, I kinda like it when they’re miserable. Single and miserable.” You grin, crossing your arms.
“Then I guess there’s only one thing to do, baby.” Soobin says boldly, pulling you into his arms with a smirk.
Beomgyu lets out a long, dramatic sigh. “Can I sue them for this?”
“On the grounds of what?” Kai asks, his tone curious but amused.
“Making me uncomfortable with their love and… whatever this is. It’s gross,” Beomgyu replies, gesturing vaguely at the two of you.
“You should know Soobin has calluses on his feet that he refers to as food,” Taehyun chimes in, deadpan.
“Why—why would you think I’d be turned off by that?” You blink, looking between them in disbelief.
“Damn it, you were right, Yeonjun. She is, in fact, in love with him,” Taehyun says, shaking his head in mock defeat.
Yeonjun nods sagely. “It’s a lost cause. She’s too far gone.”
“Maybe if we keep talking about all the cringey shit Soobin does, she’ll stop liking him, and we’ll get our bickering friends back,” Kai suggests.
“Oh? Like what?” you ask, raising an eyebrow.
“Well,” Yeonjun starts, barely containing a laugh, “while Soobin’s chewing his food, he shows us the mushed-up mess in his mouth and asks us to rate it.”
You raise an unimpressed eyebrow. “Do you really think that’s going to freak me out? I’ve seen worse like one time—”
“Baby!” Soobin yells, his ears turning red as he covers your mouth with his hand. “Don’t—don’t tell them!”
You pull his hand away, grinning up at him. “What? They were egging me on, pretending like I don’t already know how gross you are.”
“I’m not gross!” Soobin insists, his voice pitching higher in protest.
Kai snorts. “You literally made us rate your chewed-up food last week.”
Beomgyu throws his hands in the air. “And the fact that she’s still standing here, in love with him, is the real nightmare.”
You grin, clinging onto Soobin, “Ladies and gentlemen, the love of my life.”
“So what you’re admitting is that you have low standards,” Beomgyu sneers, crossing his arms with a smirk.
You roll your eyes, stepping closer to Soobin. “Low standards? I’m dating Soobin, not you, sweetie.”
Beomgyu gasps dramatically, clutching his chest like you just shot him. “That was uncalled for!”
Before you can fire back, Soobin leans down and presses a quick kiss to your temple. “See? She loves me just the way I am.”
“Yeah, well, we don’t. We don’t love either of you, so why do we have to put up with this nonsense?” Yeonjun mutters, shaking his head in mock dismay.
Kai nudges Yeonjun, smirking. “Because deep down, we have to admit, some parts of us actually do care for these nutjobs. Deep…deep down.”
“Absolutely not,” Yeonjun scoffs. “The only thing I care for is the silence we’ll have when you two stop flirting. Or fighting.”
“Never gonna happen,” Soobin says smugly, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. “Get used to it.”
Taehyun sighs, pulling out his phone. “I’m just gonna record this and send it to your future kids. Let them know what they’re in for.”
Beomgyu groans. “Future kids? Can you imagine a tiny Soobin? Bro’s gonna be a giant by age 6. The horror.”
You smile sweetly at Beomgyu. “Don’t worry, Uncle Beomgyu, you’re gonna be our kids’ favorite uncle.”
“Aw—wait, that’s kinda sweet.”
“Why wouldn’t they love the uncle who lets them win at arm wrestling just because he’s terrible at it?” you say, feigning innocence.
Beomgyu’s jaw drops. “H–hey! Just because, I’m the worse at arm wre–”
“Or you could be the uncle who trips over his own feet during hide-and-seek,” Soobin adds with a sly grin.
“You fall one time and people won’t stop bringing it up!” Beomgyu defends, his face turning red.
“You know what? I take it back. Your future kids are gonna hate me. I’ll make sure of it,” Beomgyu huffs, crossing his arms dramatically.
Soobin grins. “Nah, they’ll love you. But not as much as they’ll love their super cool dad.”
Beomgyu mutters under his breath, “Yeah, your kids are doomed. Maybe if they had some of my DNA, they’d be kinda cool.”
“Gross,” you and Soobin say in unison.

Part 1 <
Part 2 Minho x Female Reader!
Warnings: None. Fluff fluff fluff!
“So, favorite animal?”
“Probably cats, I have three at home.” You reply, taking a sip of your drink while taking in the sound of the waves.
After Minhos 4 mile run, you agreed to a late night date with him.
He’s taken you to a spot on the beach, very hidden. You kind of wish you knew about this place for yourself.
“Wait.. really?” He asks.
You give him a small nod with a “Mhm”
“I have three cats at home…” he says, excitedly.
“Shut up.” You say with a laugh.
“No, I’m so serious. Look!” He says. He pulls his phone from his pocket, going to his photos and starts going through and entire album of his cats. Showing birthday photos, photos of them eating, sleeping, playing, wearing cute outfits, there are even a few of them with him.
“They’re so cute!” You say.
You look up and notice how close you two have gotten to each other without noticing. You’re sat on a picnic blanket right next to each other, if you moved at all, your knees would be touching, along with your shoulders.
Minho showed you a few more photos before putting his phone away.
“We should probably get going soon.” You say.
The sun was barely visible behind the water, allowing the darkness to take over for the night.
“Do you work tomorrow?” He asks.
You shake your head ‘no’
“Then we have all night.” He says with a huge grin.
He stands up, brushing some sand off of his jeans before holding out his hand for you to take.
He helps you up and you can’t help but notice how he doesn’t let go of your hand as he begins to lead you toward the water.
“So, are you from here?” You ask, after walking down the beach in pure darkness. It was hard to see, the only thing lighting up your way was the moon and the dim light of Minho’s phone.
“No, I just recently moved here. Wanted to get away from the city.”
“Ah, so you chose the town furthest away, with the same 200 people and nothing to do?” You say with a chuckle.
“Yes, exactly.” He laughs. “I was kind of starting to regret it. I didn’t realize how hard it was to make friends in a town so small.” He states.
“It’ll get better…. I hope.” You say with a small laugh.
“It already has..” he says, squeezing your hand and flashing a soft smile.
Your heart begins to race. You’d only officially met him two days ago, but he’s already got you wrapped right around his finger.
“So umm, how long have you worked at the café?” He asks, keeping his hand held tight around yours.
“It’ll be two years next month.” You state.
“And how do you like it?”
“I don’t know. It gets quite boring sometimes, not a lot to do. But the people I work with make it worth it.”
“Yeah, I had the pleasure of meeting two of them the other day” he says with a chuckle.
“Oh god… please don’t tell me they gave you the ‘run down” you say, embarrassment hitting you like a ton of bricks.
“Does the run down include me having to be a huge fan of SpongeBob or I better not break your heart because they will actually turn me into coffee beans and make me an office drink of your guys’ cafe?” He laughs.
"Oh god! I am so sorry, we've been friends for so long, we just treat each other like family, they don't actually mean it, they're just trying to look out for me. They wouldn't actually murder you, I promi..."
You try your hardest to explain your apology, until he quickly grabs your face and pulls you into a kiss, silencing you completely.
The kiss was magical. Soft, lingering, endearing. Think of a romance movie, with a really dramatic loving ending. That's how the kiss felt. His lips left yours, much quicker than you wanted them to.
"You don't have to apologize, they could actually turn me into coffee beans and I'd still be happy that you'd be the one making me." He says, his hands still holding your cheeks.
"I... I don't think I've ever met someone more cheesy in my life." You sy before letting out a laugh.
"Oh shut up." He says, letting go of your cheeks, leaning down and splashing water in your direction.
"Hey!" You shout before kicking your foot in the water, splashing him, soaking the entire front of him.
"Okay, now you're screwed." He states, charging at you.
You let out a scream as he picks you up and body slams you into the water. Coming back up for air with a laugh. Your arms wrapped around his neck.
"We didn't even bring towels!" You say, a huge smile spread across your face.
"I guess we'll have to spend the night and dry off when the sun comes up." He says, starring at your lips.
"I don't think I'd mind that." You say.
His lips connect to yours for the second time. Somehow this time is better than the first.
"I do have to go to work tomorrow..." You whisper through each kiss.
"Mmm... well, you could quit, I make more than enough money to take care of you. You can be my cute little house wife, take care of our cats." He says dreamily.
"While all of that sounds nice, We've only met 3 days ago. Don't you think that's pushing things?" You say with a laugh, wrapping your arms tighter around him.
"Angel, I don't think you understand how much I'm actually already obsessed with you..."

Ringing
Tumblr media
Bucky Barnes
Description: Y/N helps him out with the ringing. She distracts him with something she has been wanting to do for awhile.
I was currently in the kitchen preparing a drink for Bucky and I. It seems today was a hard day for him and it was becoming worse due to the ringing in his head. He tells me it was the effect of what Hydra did to him as the winter soldier. He would keep the radio, tv, or force himself to be in a crowd just so it would drown out the noise a bit. I look over from the kitchen island to the couch where he was sitting and notice his hands placed over his ears. His body slumped over with his eyes forced shut. I set the glass down and immediately rush over and kneel in front of him. He described it as a phantom sound. The transition to the winter soldier always peered in once in a while. The last time he had one of them, he told me it was 2 years ago but it was never this bad. I gently wrap my fingers around his wrist and he allows me to peel his hands away from his ear. His eyes are still shut and he slowly shakes his head. He had told me all about his time as the winter soldier, I could see his regret each day even if he seemed happier. When I met him he was afraid to come close to me and when he explained everything I knew why. As a school teacher I am around kids most of the time and it took him a while to come around the idea. We have been dating for almost 5 months and he has been nothing but respectful and a true gentleman. So it pained me to see him struggle, I had to do something. With still a grip on his wrist I move them to give me space to straddle him. Moving closer to him I could hear his unsteady breathing, even a light cast of sweat on his forehead. I didn’t say anything, I just hoped my actions would get him distracted from the ringing. I let go of his wrist and moved my hands up his waist to grab a fist full of his black shirt. My lips fell to the accessible space between his neck and I started to place some kisses. Soon those kisses turned into tasting him, sucking on the spot and once he groaned I knew it was of dislike. “Doll,” He whispered. He pushed his head back and kept his eyes closed. His hands gripped my hips and I involuntarily began to grind on his lap.
“I want to make you feel better” I whisper as I continue my movements and kisses. His throat moans as my kisses move lower. He pushes my hip forward with more force making me groan at the sudden friction.
“You don’t have to” He struggled to get out as his words were mixed with moans and unsteady breathing. In our relationship we had yet to be this intimate. I know he was holding back but I was tired of it. I was ready and I knew we both wanted it badly.
“I know.” I pull away just enough to see his face. “I want to.” He opens his eyes. His blues looked intensely at me. “I have been wanting you to fuck me for so long that looking at you this vulnerable gave me the right opportunity to take advantage of you” He closes his eyes but this time he lets out a chuckle. He knew I was teasing him but before he could change his mind I began to rock my hips again. “Will you allow me to take advantage of you?” He grips my hips once again.
Tumblr media
“Honey, I will allow you to do anything to me.” He lifts up his head, crashing his lips onto mine. My hands ramage to grip onto his hair pulling him closer. It was so little but my whole body was burning up with his lips and our bodies grinding like two teenagers. I moaned into his mouth and he took the chance to slip his tongue in. Messy and sloppy was becoming our kisses as the lower part of my stomach was twisting in pleasure.
“Bucky,” I moans, pulling away. My head falls against his shoulder. His hands still gripping my hips pushes us with much force. “I need you” I groan sitting up. His eyes find mine once again and he nods.
“The ringing is gone,” He whispers. He grabs onto my bottom and stands up with me. My legs wrapped around his waist. “I can give you my full attention all night” A mischievous grin appears as he starts walking towards his bedroom.
“All night?” I choke out. It was only 5 in the afternoon right now.
“I know once I get a taste of you, I won’t be able to quit until I am satisfied,” Holy shit.

A Trial of Tears and Tails
Sorry this is so random, I came up with this idea and wrote it on my lunch break, haha. Just thought it was so cute and funny.
“Um. My love. Are you fully rested? Could you come here and tell me that it’s not just my lack of sleep making me see things?”
Rafayel poked his head into the bathroom with a towel in hand. “What’s wrong, honey? I got the towel, like you-” He dropped the towel, eyes practically bulging out of his head.
“Okay. So it’s not just me then.”
Giggles erupted from the bathtub beside you as your son busied himself poking soap bubbles, oblivious to the stares of his two parents and oblivious to the fact that where once there had been two little legs, there now emerged a tail. A mermaid tail.
Your breath hitched in your throat. “I mean, it’s cute. It’s super cute. But does he… I mean, did he do it on purpose? Does he even know he did it? Does he know how to control it? Or is he going to keep randomly transforming for the rest of his life? What if he doesn’t know how to change it back? Will he ever walk again?” You started spiraling.
Rafayel rushed to your side, kneeling down beside you at the foot of the tub and pulling you into his arms. “Hey, hey, don’t think too hard; you’ll give yourself a headache. Look at him- he’s fine. He’s happy. I say we just let it play out and see what happens, kay? It’ll be fine.” He repeated again, nuzzling his nose against your ear before leaning up to press a reassuring kiss to your temple.
But soon enough, it was very much not fine.
At first, you both just watched your son. You watched as he splashed around in pure bliss, you watched as his smile spilled across his face and tugged at his rosy cheeks, you watched as he squealed his delight. And you thought to yourself that he’d never been cuter than he was right now. You couldn’t help but pepper him with kisses and he couldn’t help but laugh. Rafayel gazed fondly at the warm sight before him and, wanting to join in on the fun, he soon began tickling your son’s sides.
That was when the trouble started.
In attempts to escape Rafayel’s tickles, your son soon began splashing and squirming, and it was then that he realized he couldn’t just up and run. It was then that he realized that he was now stranded in the tub, bound by his flopping tail. And he didn’t know why the hell he had a tail.
He started crying, screaming, wailing- all manner of devastation and despair arose within him. And it damn near broke Rafayel’s heart.
He immediately moved into a protective stance, trying to console the tearful toddler. He made silly faces, he ruffled his hair, he picked him up and cradled him, rocking him in his arms, whispering that everything would be okay. He pressed kiss upon kiss to his head, like it was a precious ritual, like all would be well once he’d bestowed enough of his love. But it was to no avail.
Rafayel turned to you in desperation; “Help me,” clear in his eyes.
“What am I supposed to do??” You mouthed back to him, taking the crying child from him.
He threw his arms up in frustration, “I dunno- sing him a song, do something, do anything!”
You cleared your throat awkwardly, rocking him back and forth, as you began to sing the first song that came to your mind. “Um… I wanna be… where the people are. I wanna see… wanna see them dancing.”
Rafayel raised a brow at you. “Part of your world? Really? That was the best you could come up with?”
“You said to sing him a song! I thought it kinda… fit the situation?”
Rafayel snorted. “I see it’s going to be up to me to fix this. Alright, give him here; lemme try again.”
After taking him back from you, Rafayel marched his way into the kitchen. You followed behind, curious as to what his next plan of action was.
“Maybe the little guy is just hangry. Some food will cheer him up.” Rafayel started to warm up his steak dinner from last night.
“Raf! He barely has teeth, how is he gonna chew the steak?” You exclaimed.
“Well… maybe I’m hangry too! Maybe the food was for me.” Rafayel grumbled, anxiously chomping on his steak before spoonfeeding some of his mashed potatoes to the kid. Fortunately, it seemed to soothe him for the time being, but the issue of his tail was still to be addressed. How were you going to get him to turn back? You were sure once he finished munching on mashed potatoes that he would remember the tail and then be back to bawling and blubbering in no time at all. And if he cried, Rafayel might just cry. And you couldn’t have that.
So you disappeared into the nursery and came back with his favorite toys, his favorite books, his favorite movies. You spent the next two hours entertaining him, reenacting epic fight scenes between his toy robot and his toy dinosaur, reading to him all manner of fantasy and fiction, and snuggling up beside him as the TV played his favorite movies. He was more doted on than he’d ever been in his single year of living. And he loved it. But he still had the damn tail.
Rafayel suggested yoga and that was when he learned that children were not very flexible. Then he suggested meditation and that was when he learned that children do not sit still long enough for it. He finally settled on teaching the kid to use the tail, and that was when he learned that the age of one was far too young for someone to learn how to swim. The kid retained absolutely none of the information Rafayel so enthusiastically provided.
You knew this was a very serious moment, but it was hard not to laugh when you heard Rafayel’s voice echoing in the bathroom, emphatically declaring, “Now, kick! That’s not a kick, kick! Like this! No, like this! That’s a… that’s something. That’s… getting closer. Nope, never mind, it’s not. Yeah, okay, this is not working.”
Eventually, Rafayel passed out on the couch with the child dozing off in his arms. Your poor husband had exhausted nearly every brain cell in existence trying to solve this issue (so his nap was much deserved), but now, as you watched the two of them fondly, you noticed that peeking out from beneath the blanket, two tiny feet had finally appeared.
You laughed so hard that you almost woke them up when you realized what had happened; he had exhausted the kid back into being a human.

Where Are You?
Tumblr media
A/N: So I wrote this to let off some steam because Zayne didn't come home. I lost the 50/50 badly! I usually write fanfic in private, but I never posted before so this is a first for me. Please keep in mind that I really didn't proof read cuz like I said I was just letting off steam. I WAITED TIL MIDNIGHT OF THE NEW YEAR FOR THIS MAN AND I LOST THE 50/50. The fact that this was the anniversary is what hurt most :') I was so excited too. I apologize for being too dramatic in this haha. Also, sorry for the terrible writing.
Warning: Angst
Words: 1.5K
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A sigh escaped my lips after taking a quick glance at my phone for what might be the millionth time. It was a half hour before the new year came. I glanced at the counter where I had made the homemade macarons specifically for a special doctor I had kept close to my heart.
Zayne. Where are you?
Zayne and I made plans together for the new year. We just wanted it to be the two of us. I had it all in my head; make dinner together, watch him eat the macarons I made, steal one from him after he took a bite as we wait for the countdown for the new year, countdown, gaze into each others eyes with the fireworks in the background, and promise to be together for years to come with a kiss. Nothing could be more perfect than that. Or so I thought.
Surprisingly, the sight of wanderers has been low which meant I mostly did paperwork or took missions outside of Linkon City where I was needed. I was able to get off work on time or Captain Jenna would let us go early as a reward for all the hard work we’ve been doing for our city. I had a bit more free time which was a luxury. Zayne, on the other hand, was more busy than ever. He would always try to respond to my texts as fast as he could, but I knew he was doing what he does best and that was to save lives. Yet it’s been different lately.
Zayne rarely responds to my messages now and every time we go out or we visit each other’s places he takes out his laptop to do work. I call out to him, but he always says “I’m almost done. Just give me a minute.” Then he started to sound a bit annoyed with me. I stopped asking him to hang out for a while, but I found the courage to invite him for new year’s eve a few days ago:
“Are you going to work on new year’s eve?” I asked him over the phone.
“No. I have the day off unless I am called for an emergency. Why?” He asked.
“Um…” I took a deep breath. “I was wondering if you wanted to spend it with me. That’s all. It’s been a while since we had a date after all.”
There was a pause over the phone. I bit my lip out of nerves and was worried he would say no. This would be our first new year’s together and a week after that it would be our first anniversary as a couple. After another moment of silence I heard him speak.
“It has been a while. I hadn’t noticed. I’m sorry if I made you feel sad.” He said. I could hear his tone. He sounded guilty.
“Oh! It’s okay. You’ve been busy after all.” I awkwardly laughed. I didn’t want my true feelings out. A part of me felt sad that I hadn’t seen him, but another part of me was angry because of the tone of annoyance in his tone of the last time we spent together. He told me I was in the way and that he had to focus. Yet I was the one to apologize and made up an excuse to leave.
“No, it’s not. In fact, why don’t we celebrate our anniversary that day as well?” He said.
“Isn’t our anniversary the week after?”
“It is, but I want to make it up to you. I could wear that butler outfit with the cat ears you bought not long after what happened with me being turned into part feline.”
My heart leaped as I smiled. I could feel my body being light as a feather from joy. Since the cat evol incident he always dressed up as a butler with the cat ears to cheer me up whenever I was upset with him. It was a rare yet welcoming occasion.
“Yes! I want to see kitty Zayne again!” I exclaimed.
He chuckled, “Alright now. Settle down. It’s the least I can do for a certain hunter who has been working hard to ensure not only Linkon City’s safety, but other cities as well. Where do you want to celebrate?”
“Just the two of us. My place if that’s okay.”
“Well…”
“I’ll even throw a plate of macarons for a certain doctor who is keeping his patients alive not just in Linkon City, but other cities as well.”
I could hear his smile over the phone, “Well, an offer like that is difficult to turn down. Very well. Your place. I’ll be there at four in the afternoon. We’ll make dinner together and wait for the countdown. Together.”
“Yes. Together. I’ll see you. Take care.” I smiled.
He chuckled, “You as well. I’ll see you then.”
I stared at my phone screen. It was the two of us at the photo booth where we took photos with animals. I remember that day well. I cupped his cheeks, catching him in surprise, while I smirked at the camera. I let out a soft laugh, but this doesn’t make me laugh the way it used to. All I can feel is pain in my heart just by looking at this. I unlocked my phone to see the wallpaper of my homescreen: Zayne kneeling to feed Clopidogrel. I smiled sadly at this until I went back to frowning. Then I looked at the text messages from today.
12:30 - Can’t wait to see you!
5:43 - Was there an emergency at the emergency room? I totally understand if you’re running a bit late. Do what you gotta do doc! You got this!
9:52 - Zayne? Are you okay? Do you need help? Are you hurt? Please tell me you’re okay
11:26 - Zayne? Where are you?
“Where are you, Zayne?” I whispered. I hear the announcer on the television set telling the audience that there was five minutes left on the clock. I used my hands to cradle my head. It took everything in me not to cry. He’ll be here. Even if it’s one minute before midnight. He’ll be here. I thought to myself. Just a small glimmer of hope. I took a deep breath and walked towards the window to look down. His car wasn’t there, but I was waiting for it to show up and for him to come out running to me. Next thing I know, I heard the announcer and the audience behind him counting down.
5…4…3…2…1…Happy New Year!
At that moment I collapsed on the floor and could feel the tears spilling out. No matter how many times I tried to wipe my tears away it wouldn’t stop. It was a never ending stream. “He didn’t come. He didn’t come.” I kept mumbling to myself. Why? Why did this have to happen? Was I no longer good enough? Was he tired of me? Did he only agree to spend New Year's with me so I would stop bothering him? Was this his way of telling me that we were done? So many questions were swirling in my head.
After I was done crying I went to the bathroom to splash water in my face and looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were puffy and red from all the crying I did. The worst thing was that I knew I could keep crying. I took a couple of deep breaths without breaking the gaze to myself. I thought of all the memories we made together: going to the amusement park, him kissing my cheek when I got drunk, our first kiss in his car after our third date, him teaching me pool, everything. I clenched my fists and furrowed my brows. No longer did I feel disappointment, but instead I felt anger. I walked to my bedroom to see the two snowmen on my bed. The blue one was him and the red one was me. I picked up the blue one and held it in front of me.
“I devoted myself to you. I couldn’t and still can’t see anyone else for me except you. But if this is how you truly feel then fine. I don’t need you.” I threw the snowman across the room. I went to grab my phone and began typing a message to Zayne:
Next time you want to break up with me at least tell me. Before you lecture me on doing this kind of thing in person let me tell you something. At least I have the decency to let you know SOMEHOW. Unlike some people. Good bye, Dr. Zayne.
My thumb hovered across the sent button. I didn’t want to end it. I was in love with him. But there is no point in being with someone who doesn’t love you back. After a few seconds I finally managed to push send. My emotions were all over the place. I changed my lock screen to a photo of Tara and I after the escape room and changed my home screen to a video game character I liked. I went to my photo album to delete the photos, but I couldn’t do it. That was too far for me. I didn’t have it in me to go that far. I decided to not delete the photos and go to bed with a broken heart. Knowing my love for him would never disappear.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N continuation: So yeah. I'm pretty salty as you can see XD For the time being I'm mad at Dr. Zayne and put him in the doghouse. I might write another part for when I'm no longer upset with him or to continue to be salty. I don't know. Or you could give me a request. Again, sorry for the terrible writing. Didn't proofread it. If you guys give me something I will look back on it carefully I promise. If you have any questions as well ask and I will answer as best as I can. Happy New Year everyone!

“𝑰’𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 M𝒊𝒏𝒆”-𝑲.𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑺𝑶
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An: I had to make part two of yandere choso so yea that what I’m doing here.definitely have fluff, with a lot of obsessive thinking from him and behavior, but nothing else that I’ll can add on. Part one
Wordcount: 3,379k
I feel yandere choso would absolutely loved to spend time with you,he just a puppy for you.A quiet big puppy that for sure.
Especially when you first met him in the very last year of highschool when you both were juniors
Tumblr media
You weren’t the most popular person in highschool nor good looking in fact you didn’t have such great friends back then if you could recall. They treated you like trash, using you whenever they needed and always dismissed you when you try to talk to them.Or in general they would treat you like some sort of pen that they can use and abandon.
but that didn’t stop you from being friends with choso;the boy that you always see alone and being teased by Other students. And always had rumors of him coming from a fuck up shelter or other shit, basically making him an outlast in highschool.
It all happened in the lunchtime when You were looking for a spot to enjoy your lunch in sunlight. You just wanted to eat in the fresh air instead of the suffocating air you have inside the big ass school.
And you stumble across him sitting against one of the trees making his appearance more hard to see due to the shadows. He was sitting with his knees close to his chest and face down and his dark chocolate hair covering his face.
You were standing there thinking if you wanted to go find somewhere else to eat or just go sit with him.You found yourself standing there for a couple a seconds before walking towards his way with a nervous smile on your face.
'Why am I acting like he’s going to kill me???' You thought to yourself as you sat down right next to him, knowing that you already made your presence known to him.
'Why can’t they just leave me alone' choso said to himself as he buries his self more then before;he thought it was his bullies that had come to bother him again.
A light touch was felt on his shoulders before he heard your voice spoke. He instantly knew that it wasn’t his usual bullies but someone new.
“Your choso right from class A5??you probably don’t know me either but I’m in the same classes as you are” you murmur as choso head started to rise up from his legs, slightly tilting his head to look at you.
His nose mark visible from the view. But also his dark eyes bags are but few inches his dark hair hit his forehead.
At the time he thought you were some sort of back up man to use him for something. And that cause his eyesbrows to pinched down on ;looking more annoyed at you than before.Giving you a glare that for sure made shivers down your spine.
Right before choso could say anything, you spoke up.
“Listen,l-listen I’m not in any of your bully bullshit stuff!?!Nor am I getting paid to be your friend or some stuff” You sprouted the words to him with such a anxious that you thought you were sweating.Making a nervous chuckle.
Choso didn’t respond to you immediately after and that kinda made you worry. But choso in the other hand was looking at you deeply for a minute.
He had some sort of feeling about you,and he kinda could tell that you wouldn’t be the lying type of person. But it didn’t mean he could truly trust you but it meant that he could give you a chance.
You look at the ground and opening your lunchbox,to the lovely view of the food that your mother had made.
“Why come sit here with me when there’s other places to eat?” Choso mutter in stern voice as he has his head high looking at you fully.
You instantly turn your head towards your, making him slightly jump up.
“I don’t know. . . I guess maybe I wanted to get to know you, since I barely talk to you before.” You replied with such a calm tone of an ocean breeze, giving a small polite smile to him.
“And that you seem lonely and in need of a friend like me . . ." You whispered lowly thinking that he wouldn’t hear you.But he did and yet he didn’t feel like saying anything about it back then.
“Mhmm” He murmurs as he see you stuffed food into your mouth like a hamster. He didn’t know he had form some sort of grin until you asked.
“What with that face?? Is there something on my face?” You inquired as you talked with a full mouth of food.Titling your head slightly.
Choso soon felt his lips were titled up in a grin but he was quick to remove that.He was quick to respond.
“Oh?it just you look like a hamster eating like that” he bruantly said up as his shifted his position into now a more comfortable position.
You were silent for a few seconds making him feel like he had done something wrong, after seeing you had put your head down. But soon after your face rises up with such a colorful smile that had the sun shining in your way making you look so.. so Astonishing.
Something about the way you smile had him feel so relaxed and he felt more alive then he had before. He knew that he wouldn’t find anything else that would make him feel like that again.
Tumblr media
And after that He would follow you every where,in every class he would sit next to you.You were more than happy that you found someone you could talk without the need of feeling used.He was funny;well to you that is,you two would talk nonstop (well you’ll talk his ear off but he loved listening to you).
And of course his bullies saw all of this new attachment so what else is better then to use you as a tool to make him obey their commands.
And he would do it,every single thing they ask he’ll do because one he was too weak to do anything he wasn’t built for fighting at all and two he didn’t want anything to happen to you.Hell if anything happens to you he wouldn’t know what he’ll do but he knew that he’ll do something that will put him in jail that for sure.
Even if he tries to find the fact on why he’s keep denying you.You found out pretty quickly and you hated on how much he had to deal with because of you.So you told him the usual thing like “oh yea it ok I’ll just wait” you acting like you didn’t know what was happening.
As you soonas he left you followed him to where ever the hell he went. And where choso was greeted by his bullies in the back of the school. To only see him be pushed by them and hitting his back against the wall.
You instantly grab your phone and hit record, but making sure that you weren’t getting caught. And so you painfully watched choso get beat up by his bullies for ‘giving them the wrong test answers and the incorrect information for their presentation for another class they had’.
You noticed that the whole time choso was getting beat up that choso had not once had reacted to any of their actions.
Keeping an emotionless expression the whole time, until the bullies got tried of it and left a bleeding choso. Right when they left, you ran towards choso your finger carefully touched his face.
His faces was covered either by bruises or blood,it frightened you how he looked so destroyed.
“C-choso?! Can you hear me,oh my god look at what they did to you”You wailed quietly as you cupped his face not caring about the blood that fall on your hands.
Choso looks up at you with such a weak nod,as his heart breaks seeing you brokenhearted over him,He gently removes your hands and get up with a grunt of pain. You quickly exclaim that he needed some help from moving.
You had pampered him the whole day making sure he’s okay and saying that he didn’t have to do anything for you.
You had constantly worried about it,saying that you couldn’t handle seeing your best friend getting hurt like that.
And that night you decided something that you’ll never have done before, and is to post the videos to the school board anonymously and send them to the bullies parents saying “To say that your the parents of these kids should be ashamed of it,to even let them act like this is absurd”.You by accident posted it online late at night. But it gain a lot of traction.
The bullies are soon later expelled from the school due to their actions. But everyone gave choso sympathy from their actions. But he couldn’t care less about their words. He just wanted to be with you,to live with you,to bathe in your warmth.
Choso hated the word friend when it comes out of you,but he can’t do anything but wait until the best time to prove that he all you’ll need.
“Um choso do you want to go to the park with me this weekend?” You Patiently asked him as you walked in a more slower pace.
Choso looked down at you with a heavy sigh;”I can’t do it this weekend this time I gotta take care of my little brother” Choso says as if he had no other choice to go,but then again he really loves taking care of his little brother.
Your mind didn’t process the brother part and just hum’s as a replies to him.But after a few seconds you turn your head to him and widen your eyes.
“Wait!! You have a brother!?!?” You exclaimed with eyes wide with sparkles and admiration.
Choso stops walking as the same as you do.He completely find your reaction bizarre but not in a bad way.
“Omg why don’t you ever tell me this;can I see your brother then this weekend? If that ok with you” You were giving choso a very intense eye contact. You mouth the word please.
Choso felt peer pressure by your eyes and your presence that he admitted to defeat.
He huff out and sighs but if he see you Miss treat his brother he would not have it.Either if he obsessive about you in every type of way.
“Fine” he says with a deep ponder of thought.
You face quickly shaped a genuine smile as you silently mouth the word ‘YAY’,throwing punches in the air.Making choso pondered on how easy is it to make you happy and it makes him feel happy that he is the one doing it.
The next day was definitely he’s favorite day, from the day you enter the house to when your visit had to go.You had played with Yuji the whole day.Making him laugh, smile and every thing;Choso was really happy that you were having fun with his little brother. And God he never had his heart beat so fast like that he swore that you could’ve heard it.
Tumblr media
Several years has passed and you both graduated high school and now both of you are currently in college.Jujitsu Kasiten College.
And so after all the things you did for him he ended up trusting you more than anything. And now being alll mature he’s more then aware of how obsessive he is to you but how would you know. You simply saw him as your best friend.
But you being rather comfortable with him is something that feel to you at least correct.
Right?
I mean yea you two started to experience the part of life where you get a glow up or down and a lot of stuff change once you guys started to go to college together.
College was a turns of things to you that is;you had gotten more popular then usual. You had plenty of friends that loved to hang out with you and would constantly invite you to party with them. But you never felt the need to party just to have a big aching headache tomorrow morning.
Yea no.
And maybe you’re oblivious to things like dating or even when people tried to get you into dates with them. But you would sound crazy if you said that the thought of having being relationship never crossed your mind.
And Your girl friends always had something to say about your best friend choso.
Mostly saying stuff like “are you and choso dating?”. And your face flashed a pink blush on your cheeks, and As you would completely object the idea.
“NO!!! Oh my lord, I swear you guys always ask me that question every single time” You exclaimed at them. With a playful eye roll, your cheeks still have a faint redness,as you wished that this question would stop. And for your heart to stop heart to stop beating so fast whenever it about him.
But it was a way for them to tease you about it. Even one time one of them asked you personally.
“You sure you wouldn’t ever date him.You should at least try dating someone;life too short. And plus I think You two would be good for each other, just think about it.”
And boy you did think about it,you thought about it in the depth of night as you stare at the ceiling with their words echoing through your mind. And when you closed your eyes there was a image of him smiling at you.You shake your head and snap out of it.And quietly screamed into your pillow.
One thing was for sure that you needed to remind yourself that choso didn’t seem like he wanted anything to do with dating right now or with anyone.
Choso would be busy in the morning working out his body or something.Because ‘i think it better for me too at least get built’Which you rolled your eyes playfully.
“You’re already tall and Geeky,so some muscles aren’t going to be needed, since your brain is where all your muscles are at” You snickered at yourself for that comment.
He snorted at your comment, rolling his dark brownish eyes at you. Making him ruffle your soft looking hair in a messy way, that he knew you would scolded him to stop.He kept his well known open expression. His hearts warms up every single time your near, your around, your presence is anything close to his radius.
There one thing he still doesn’t show you or tell you,and that he writes songs and knows how to sings and knows how to play guitar (electric).
Because he thinks that you find that kinda of lame or boring so he never found the need to tell you that.
Tumblr media
He became more obsessed with you, taking pictures of you doing whatever you do,bring you into his house to ‘babysit’ his baby(now teenager) brother.
Hell bet he’ll makes sure that you don’t go to any of the dates you have planned from random college guys.By saying excuses to get you to cancel them.
He acts like he doesn’t notices the changes that are your doing, but he see it,The way that now your took the time to style your hair or how you put lip gloss on now.Or even how you decided to do skin care for your body.
“Is that lipgloss you wearing?”Choso asked a little amused by it,while they walked and talk about the day as usual. Some topic were the party’s that some of the college students were gonna have or drama around the school.
Choso obviously notices it as soon as you meet him.His eyes were glued to your lips the whole time.
They look soft and sweet looking something that his been dying to try the taste too.
“Ooh Yea!! I am wearing lipgloss today, you notice it”
“Duh idiot,I wouldn’t have asked if you didn’t seem to have lipgloss on.”he remarked it as You lightly punch him playfully sticking out your tongue.
He justed bluff.
Choso knew that your turning into a more independent woman then you were before.Your acting like he doesn’t know the changes we’re going. You were still as beautiful as before even if they were not the best looking students back then.
“Um choso?” You mumbled softly towards your bathroom door since he was there in your bedroom right there laying down using his phone.
He head beamed into your direction of your voice, while his nonchalant expression.
“Yea (__) ?” He responded in an intrigued tone now putting his phone down waiting for you to open the bathroom door.
Thinking it something stuipd.Like you wearing clown makeup to scare him.But it was something else.
You open the bathroom door to show a beautiful dark violet dress with pretty black flowing sleeves on,finishing the look with a necklace shape star on it.
You look…
Stunning, incredible, remarkable, divine,Extraordinary the list goes on.He has now seen that you completely blossom into a beautiful woman. He swear that the air in his body had left when he saw you in that dress looking at him with wariness and nervousness.
“So how does it look?Does it look good on me or not I mean I could just return it since it not evens mine in the first place” You rumbled on with an anxious tone,Completely smiling at choso with awkwardness.
Choso snap out of his little daydream, and cleared his throat and thoughts before he said anything that would put his chances with you downwards.
“It look beautiful on you (_),actually it look incredible on you;but … what is the dress for?” He spoke in his causal calm voice, but in fact he mind wasn’t quite calm.
Pinkness start to form on your cheeks at his comments,But quckily fade away as soon as you remind yourself that it was just a compliment and that it.
Meanwhile choso in your bed looking normally as he just continues to stare at you.He was overthinking that someone had beat him in getting you,His heart was racing from fear or anger he didn’t know which one of the two.His jaw cleached from that thought alone.
‘no she couldn’t have someone already without telling me?’
Another thought
‘And who was she going to show herself dress up like that for,it should be me not some fuck’
Another thought
‘What if he has something I don’t have, that it makes him better than me,and what if this was a waste of time’
Another thought
‘No it ok I’ll just kill the guy,No what the point of the killing the guy,if it isn’t going to give me fucking chance of her worthy of being hers. Of her being Mine’
“CHoso!?” You yell in an uncertainty as you clapped your hands.
Your yelled grab his attention pushing his thought a side as his eyes widened as he look at you.
“Are you alright, did you even hear me” you spoke with a softness but lanced with concern.Your eyes searches him.
“Yea I’m okay, sorry I didn’t hear you.I was just daydreaming” choso says with his head scratching his neck looking at you with full concern. He give you an apologetic smile.
You stare deeply into him and then lay off the stare.
“Your such a dreamer, i swear. Anyway I was saying that I got this dress for the masquerade party there having at the school later this month!!”You announce with excitement as your hands and mouth were animated with joy.You ramble about how excited you were about it and choso enjoy your rambles on paying attention to what you said.
You both stop at some time to return home,or just you saying goodbye to choso for staying over. You completely forgot to ask him if he planned to go to the party.
Walking towards his place, the silence warp over him like a cloak, making him overwhelmed with his own thoughts.
Thoughts of you dwell in his mind;imagining of you being his.But as well as other thoughts about the future with you.Call him delusional but he has this plan all out for you.But he has other ideas for the masquerade and that he thinks that the perfect opportunity for him to tell you his feelings but how?
He doesn’t want it to something basic like him telling you his feelings,or make it a simple letter of love. And then he had an idea that he thinks that you enjoy.
And so when he got home,he made sure Yuji was asleep and proceeded to spend the rest of the night thinking and spawning ideas about a song that describes his feelings and what they meant to him but to you as well.
/cliffhanger/

Hufflepuff parties were notoriously loud and boisterous, and there was never any fear of having no one to talk to for how friendly everyone was. Gryffindor parties were bold and exciting and pushed just past the lines of what was allowed, fast-paced and always the talk of the school the following day. Ravenclaw parties were practically nonexistent, but Evan was sure that they had their moments, as rare as they might be.
But not a single one of them could compare with the party that Slytherin put on every single year to celebrate New Year’s. Slytherin had, without a doubt, the largest common room out of all four houses, made all the bigger by the removal of excess chairs and furniture. Chandeliers had been spelled by seventh years to hang above the crowd and cast everything in a glittering glow, and even the giant windows looking out into the lake had been charmed to show a beautiful night sky. It was rumored that at midnight, they would show. massive display of fireworks, though Evan wasn’t entirely sure how true that rumor was.
“Evan,” sang a smiley Barty, putting a strange and yet familiar feeling in Evan’s stomach when Barty swayed closer to where he was standing. “Been enjoying the champagne, then?”
He nodded towards Evan’s hand, where he held an almost empty glass that had previously been filled by a generous, if not shady, seventh year who had supplied the entire guest list with a bowl of champagne and spiked punch. Evan wasn’t much of a sucker for the sticky sweetness of the punch, but he had always enjoyed his fair bit of champagne at family galas.
“You know it,” he responded easily, and downed the small amount still in his glass in one gulp. “Never mind that, how are you enjoying the party?”
“Oh, it’s fine,” Barty brushed off quickly. “But look, I have a proposition for you.” He paused, only continuing at Evan’s raised brow. “It’s just, Cas has Marlene, and Pandora’s got Lily, and even Reg has Potter to kiss at midnight, and that leaves us two alone and miserable. So why don’t we just… kiss each other?”
It was said oddly, halting at some points and rushing at others, and though he could still make out what Barty was saying, it was hard to comprehend.
“You want to kiss me… at midnight? So you won’t be lonely?”
“That’s the gist of it, yeah,” Barty said, biting at his lip and rocking on his heels. “I mean, if you’d rather not, that’s fine too, I just thought—”
“No, wait, give me a second to think first.”
Barty’s mouth shut with a snap, giving Evan some much needed time to consider.
The easy thing to do would be to say yes and be done with it. Because hadn’t he always wanted to kiss Barty, to know what his lips felt like against his own? Wasn’t he dying to know what he was missing out on, and wasn’t this the perfect opportunity to finally find out?
The easy thing to do would certainly be to say yes.
But Evan’s blood was singing in his veins, and he felt bold as he stood there with the empty champagne glass in his hands, liquid bravery holding true to its name.
“Come up with a better reason.” The words fell off his tongue with a strange ease, delightful and terrifying all at once. He even laughed at Barty’s bewildered expression, that’s how free he was.
Forget the champagne, this newfound boldness was his chosen drink for tonight.
“I don’t understand,” said Barty.
Evan didn’t hesitate. “If you want me to kiss you, then change your reason for having me do it. Me being your only option isn’t a very compelling argument.”
Barty stared at him. Evan stared back. This was it, this was them hurtling towards a line that couldn’t be uncrossed. It was the type of thing that would typically have Evan running for the nearest exit, but instead he stood there, unrelenting while he let the tension build and Barty reach his own private realization. It took a beat, but because Evan was looking so intently at Barty’s eyes—he loved Barty’s eyes, he would always love those eyes—that he saw the idea hit them, widening slightly as it happened.
“Yes?” Evan prompted, seeing that Barty wasn’t eager to make the first move.
His voice must’ve spooked him, somehow, because Barty looked down at his toes shyly.
“I think—” he began, then lowered his voice to an unintelligible mumble.
“Sorry, didn’t quite catch that,” said Evan. He took a daring step into Barty’s space, so close that there was hardly enough room for Evan’s champagne glass in between their two bodies. Every last nerve Evan possessed lit up at their closeness.
Barty’s eyes were startlingly fierce, determination glinting in their green depths when he whipped his head up in response to Evan’s movement, the boldness in the gesture a stark contrast from the timidness from before.
“I said,” Barty enunciated, grabbing Evans’s glass and shoving it into some poor passerby’s hand, “kiss me for the sake of kissing me, kiss me because you want to, kiss me because I want to kiss you back.”
Evan didn’t hear the noise of protest from the recipient of the champagne glass, he didn’t hear the countdown from ten begin to start, and he sure didn’t hear Pandora’s squeal of excitement or Dorcas’s and Regulus’s amused snorts as they took in their two friends.
All he heard was Barty’s quiet exhale as he stared at him, eyes wide and mouth parted in anticipation of Evan’s response.
“Now that,” said Evan, “is a much better reason.”
His smile was so wide it hurt, but it didn’t prevent him from curling an arm around Barty’s waist and pulling him closer and closer and closer yet, until they were pressed together.
He and Barty had clicked instantly the first time they met. They had simply gotten each other with an ease previously unbeknownst to either of them, and it had been addicting. And standing there together, years later, Evan was confident that they had never understood each other better than they did right then.
“Happy New Year’s,” he whispered as the countdown hit zero.
“Happy New Year’s, Ev,” Barty whispered back.
The way their lips met was surprisingly soft for something so inevitabile. Barty’s lips against his own felt right, like they were made to fit there and there only, like he and Evan were a matching set that were never meant to be sold apart. It was soft and somewhat tentative, but it was absolutely perfect.
It felt like standing on the edge of a cliff, it felt like looking down at the ocean below, it felt like jumping. It was everything and nothing all at once, and Evan only wanted more.
It felt, he thought, as fireworks lit up the false night sky just outside the window, like a new beginning.
Cheers to a new year, he supposed.

Bat Fledgling - 7: Mistake
Previous - Next - MasterPost
Summary: Corvus finds it to be difficult to care for Kiri and makes a mistake. He decides to send him away. He’s about to get Christmas caroled in a way
Hi, this is a hurt then comfort Fic. Here is the hurt. Tomorrow is the comfort. My goal is to make you cry and I was bawling like a baby. Good luck! :3
TW: self harm, vomit, past child abuse, signs of PTSD, bed wetting, ✨emotional damage✨
This week after Kiri arrived had been… rough to say the least. It showed the Raven lord just how hurt this boy had been.
It first started at when Kiri tried making a joke at breakfast about the emperor. The silence was deafening. He didn’t know how to handle it but luckily, the former Night Lords took him out to explain to him that loyalists don’t say things like that and he shouldn’t say it again. He uttered an apology and was quiet the rest of the meal.
Kiri woke up screaming that night. His bed was soaked. He had scratches up and down his legs and arms. He wouldn’t fall back asleep.
Then Honsin snapped at him for getting too close to his power sword. The word bearer was very animated when he spoke. As he raised his hands in expression, Kiri flinched and cowered on the ground. Expecting to be hit.
It had shaken Honsin so much he just left the room and wasn’t seen for the rest of the day.
Another night terror and he wet his bed again.
The worst was when Bora tried to do a check up on him.
Corvus left the room to do his rounds when he heard screaming. He bolted back down to the apothecary to find Kiri thrashing and Bora begging him to stop as he held his arms down.
Corvus ripped Kiri away from him and stormed out, holding the sobbing child. He got the story later that Bora was trying to do a scan with another machine. One that looked too much like a cryopod.
Then there was tonight. He hadn’t woken up screaming but did have another nightmare.
He had crawled out to come get comfort, tears streaming down his cheeks when he came across Jehudiel talking to the Primarch.
“We all have our issues,” Jehudiel said. “I know the other Night Lords have had a hard time but they’re full flushed Astartes and can handle things fairly well. He is just a child and he desperately needs more help than what we can give him. My Lord, it may be best to send him to the Imperium. He deserves to have somewhat of a normal life.”
Corvus sighed, “I have been… considering it may be what’s best for him. I am leading a war effort and I can’t take care of him all the time. But-“
There was a gasp and little feet running away.
Corvus didn’t know why but he felt his stomach drop.
He had tried following after but the boy had disappeared. He kept calling his name and searching but no answer.
After an hour, he enlisted some of his band. After two hours, everyone was looking. Even checking outside the base.
By hour three he checked areas again and again. He was starting to become frantic. Did he fall down one of the holes?? Where did he go?? Why wasn’t he answering?!
Their resident Space Wolf, Irvun, finally found him hiding under the Primarch’s bed.
His eyes were red and puffy as he was brought into the meeting hall. Every member of the war band was there. Most irritated at the whole fiasco.
He was relieved to see Kiri but at the same time angry.
“Why didn’t you come out??” He demanded. “We’ve all been looking for THREE HOURS!”
Kiri shrunk and mumbled, “I didn’t want you to send me away, I can be good-“
“But you weren’t!” He snapped. “You had us all worried! You didn’t come out when we were obviously searching and calling for you! You aren’t being good! You’re acting out, crying all the time, you keep wetting your bed, and then you hide for three hours?!”
Kiri’s lip trembled as hurt spread across his face. But the Raven Lord had already lost his temper.
“You’re convincing me more that you do need to go to the imperium!” Corvus shouted. “I can’t keep taking care of you! I can’t be sitting here worrying about you while I’m trying to avenge the emperor! You know what, I will send you there to get you some help because you’re acting just like Curze!”
The room was dead silent. Some looking at the Primarch in shock. He realized he should not have said that. He should not have said that.
Fat and hot tears streamed down Kiri’s face as horror and pain filled him. He covered his eyes.
“O-okay…” he said quietly before turning around and running straight to Adile.
The emperors child didn’t hesitate to pick him up and hold him as he tried to quietly cry.
Corvus sighed, “I’m going to my room. No one disturb me. Jehudiel, start preparations to get him to the imperium.”
Jehudiel muttered an acknowledgement. Most others avoided eye contact. Looks of disappointment were obvious.
Kiri hiccuped harder as the Raven Lord left the room.
This was for the best. He removed what armor he had on and laid down. He closed his eyes, just needing a moments rest. Completely unaware of the message he was about to receive.
***
Curze shoved the boy towards one of his apothecaries.
“Take him”, he muttered. “I don’t want him.”
Tears streamed down Kiri’s face as he turned to the Primarch. He was covered in scrapes and bruises. Blood dripped from the side of his head.
“Please?” He begged. “I’ll be good.”
Curze didn’t react and began walking away as Kiri was grabbed by the arm and dragged towards a cryopod. He started crying and begging the Night Haunter to come back. Becoming more and more frantic. The Night Haunter looked back once with no expression then left.
Abandoning him too.
“I’m not,” Corvus said aloud. “I’m sending him to the imperium. He’ll be safer there. This… this is the best decision. I- I’m not actually going to do it! I was just considering!”
***
He heard Kiri crying in Apothecarium.
“He hates me!” The boy sobbed.
“No he doesn’t,” Bora said plainly as he bandages scratched up limbs.
“Yes he does!” Kiri insisted. “He hates me! He doesn’t want me! Nobody wants me…”
Bora paused then pulled Kiri into an embrace.
“He’s doing it because he cares,” Bora told him. “He wants you happy and safe.”
Kiri just broke down further and Corax could see on the apothecary’s face that he didn’t believe what he said either.
Then he saw Adile sitting in his room. Fellow Emperor’s child Xach and another of Corvus’ sons, Hoffay, comforting him. Adile had his mask off. Crooked and loose hanging jaw showing as he cried.
“I don’t want him to go,” Adile said. “I want him to stay but Lord Corax upset him and is sending him away. I like having the baby here!”
“They’ll be fine,” Corvus spoke. “They’ll be fine.”
***
Kiri was older now. About ten. He didn’t look happy as he ran through a course, other aspirants with him. Corvus noted that these weren’t Raven Guard. This was an Ultramarine successor chapter. Why? He’d be going to Ravenguard.
Kiri tripped at one point and slid down a ravine. Corvus raced down after him.
The boy caught his breath then covered his face with his hands, crying.
“I’m never going to make it,” he mumbled.
Corvus was about to try and give words of encouragement when screams and yelling were heard above.
Kiri looked to the sky and gasped. Ork ships had entered the atmosphere. Lots of them.
Kiri started scrambling up the ravine. Corvus tried to follow but couldn’t. Then everything shifted. Smoke and fire filled the air. The only sound was a triumphant Waaaaggghh from the Orks.
Corvus dropped to his knees.
“No,” he whispered. “No, no, no, no, no, no! This isn’t happening. This can’t be happening! Why am I seeing this?!”
He breathed heavily as a black void enveloped him.
“Corvus,” a voice spoke.
He froze. He recognized it. He KNEW that voice.
He turned around, golden light gleaming off his eyes.
“Father?” He questioned.
“Rise my son,” He said.
He looked just as he still remembered.
“I-I’m dreaming,” Corvus deduced as he stood.
“Yes,” The emperor said. “But it does not mean it is not true.”
“Are- I- how?”
“My power and influence can reach out to the edges of the galaxy and warp,” he explained to his son. “I am currently focusing on you.”
“Why?” Corvus asked. “Why now? I don’t mean to be taking this long. To fail at avenging you. I-“
He paused as his Father raised a hand.
“I do not come because of that,” Father told him. “Though noble are your efforts, I do wish for you to return to the imperium soon. But the real reason I’m here is your son.”
Corvus blinked, “Yes, which one?”
“Kiri.”
“Kiri…”
Father nodded, “Him specifically but all who are part of your war band. They’re ALL your sons. Even if you don’t accept it.”
His hearts sunk.
The emperor’s expression softened, “Don’t send him away.”
“I wasn’t actually-“
“Corvus, yes you were. Your pride would not have allowed you to take that order back. You would regret it.”
“It would be safer!” Corvus tried convincing, “The warp will mutate him. Jehudiel desperately wants to return to his chapter and Roboute but with extra eyes and limbs he’d never make it a single step! I can’t have that for Kiri. He needs a stable home and structure.”
“Which is something you can provide,” his father assured as he placed a hand on the Raven’s shoulder. “You can give structure and be a home for him. He’d be with his Primarch.”
“He’ll mutate.”
“I cannot fully prevent them but with my blessing they will be beautiful, like Sanguinius’s.”
Corvus gripped his father’s hands as tears began to stream down his cheeks, “But what if he dies?”
“You won’t allow that to happen.”
“I-I can’t,” Corvus cried. “I’m not- I can’t be a father. Not in this way. He deserves better. I don’t know how to handle him. How to help him. Astartes are different. He’s so little. So young. He’s been hurt enough. I’ll just make it worse and I’d regret it and…”
His father held up a hand to silence him again.
“My son,” he said. “Corvus. Don’t send him away. You may think it will be for the best and will be better for him. But I can guarantee you, you will regret it for the rest of your existence. Wondering how things could have been.”
Corvus let out a sob, “You- you’re not- he would never- you CAN’T be the emperor.”
Golden light grew brighter as he felt the commanding aura.
“Yet I am,” the emperor answered. “You will know what to do. Give him what he needs. Not what you want. You need to correct this before it’s too late. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to reach him.”
“Is he part of your great plan?” Corvus questioned. “Does he play a crucial role?”
“No,” the emperor answered. “He matters not to it.”
“Then why?” Corvus demanded. “Why now? Why with him? Why couldn’t you have come earlier??”
“Because I have finally learned some things,” he sighed. “It is important that you have him. I guided you to him.”
“If he’s not part of some plan then why is he so important? Why is this important to you? I don’t understand. I don’t understand you! I don’t understand why you left or didn’t trust us. Why didn’t you tell us? Why is Kiri so important?! Why was I not that important?!”
Warm hands cupped his face. As he stared into the golden eyes he could have sworn he saw tears streaming down his cheeks. The Master of Mankind was crying.
“Because he’s important to you,” his Father said. “Because he matters to you. You can’t see it right now but he is healing you. He brings joy to your sons. You love him. This is a chance to correct some wrongs of the past. A repentance of Konrad.”
Corvus’ chest tightened, “He’s not-“
The emperor shook his head, “No, the boy is not a reincarnation of him. He was alive while Konrad was. It is coincidental he looks like you both.”
Corvus was pulled into an embrace.
“Don’t make the same mistake I did,” his father whispered into his ear. “You will regret it. Don’t send him away. This is my amends to you.”
***
Corvus woke in a cold sweat, his chest heaving. Tears streamed down the sides of his face as he stared up at the ceiling. He could still feel the lingering warmth of his father. He had hugged him. He had never done that.
He choked and put his hand over his mouth. Was that real? It had to be. Right? He said he sent Kiri to him.
He gasped, jumped out of bed, and threw his robes on. He had to find Kiri.

New year, same Dazai
This same fanfic was published on the same time on a different account, here’s why.
TW: Suggestive at the end, and mentions of su-c-de at the beginning.
It was loud, maybe too loud.
Dazai didn’t want to go to this New Year’s party, but there was free food, Chuuya wanted to go; and the rest of the Agency was going so here he was.
Alone, because Chuuya had wondered off and was probably shit faced, and-
When did it get so loud?
Of all the places to hold a New Year’s party with both the Agency and the port mafia, why choose somewhere so small?
Needing fresh air he pushed the doors to the balcony open, and then closed behind him, the cold sharp air of Yokohama hitting his lungs as he walks over to lean on the railing.
He considered jumping.
But after a few moments he realized he’d at most break his legs, and he wasn’t a fan of pain, not to mention the fact Chuuya would scold the hell out of him.
He smirks, it’d serve Chuuya right for leaving him all alone.
He hears the door open, and glances over his shoulder to see the familiar red haired man holding a drink.
“You weren’t thinking about jumping, were you?” Chuuya asks, standing beside the taller man.
Dazai shrugs. “Are you gonna hit me if I say yes?” He responds playfully.
Chuuya’s hand of course hits the back of his head.
“Chibi is so mean to his loving, adoring, perfect, husband.” Dazai whines, though he wasn’t really upset, Chuuya hadn’t hit him hard enough to hurt.
“You’re such a baby.” Chuuya scoffs.
Dazai leans his head on Chuuya’s shoulder. “How long till midnight?” He asks, bored of the topic at hand.
Chuuya glances at his new watch, which Tachihara had gotten him for Christmas. “Three minutes, why?”
“Just wondering when I’ll get my kiss.” He muses playfully.
“Mh-hm, nothing to do with you wanting to leave?”
Dazai puts a hand on his chest in mock-hurt, lifting his head up. “Me? Want to leave a boring, loud, crowded party? Never.”
Chuuya playfully nudges him, taking a sip out of his glass, as he rolls his eyes. “Plans for the new year?”
“You, mostly.” Dazai remarks with a smirk.
“I meant a resolution-and I swear to god if you say to die.” He quips in mock-agitation.
Dazai chuckles. “To fu-owe!” Chuuya had jabbed him in the ribs, knowing damn well where that sentence was going.
“Forget I asked.” He huffs, and Dazai chuckles beside him.
“Well what’s your resolution?” The brunette asks, a hint of genuine curiosity slipping into his tone.
Chuuya blushes, and looks down at his watch. “You know it’s less than two minutes till.”
“You’re dodging the question.” Dazai points out, now really curious.
Chuuya’s blush darkens and he entwines his fingers with Dazai’s. “To give you a reason to live.” He mumbles.
Dazai blushes in return, a small somber smile coming to his face. “I think you’re wasting your time.”
He glares at him. “Shut the hell up, I’ll do it.” He states it with so much conviction that Dazai almost believes him.
Almost.
Dazai presses a kiss to Chuuya’s forehead. “You really are hopeless.” He teases
“Why am I hopeless?” He questions.
“Because only someone who’s hopeless would try so hard to save someone as hopeless as me.”
Inside the building they could hear people chanting-
30.
“Have you considered you’re not as hopeless as you think?” He asks quietly, setting down his drink on a small table that was put out here.
29.
“I think you’re giving yourself false hope.” Dazai remarks, looking down to avoid Chuuya’s unyielding gaze.
28.
“Osamu, look at me.” Chuuya requests, cupping his face.
27.
Dazai turned his face up to look at his husband.
26.
“Nothing you say will make me give up on you.” He states it like a promise, Dazai’s not sure he deserves that.
25.
“So stop trying.” He rests his head against Dazai’s, and the bandaged man can feel tears pricking at the corner of his eyes.
24.
“I don’t deserve you.” Dazai whispers, voice cracking.
23.
“Don’t say that, of course you do.” He kisses his nose.
22.
Dazai musters a small smile. “I love you.”
21.
Chuuya smiles back, bright, and real, and so beautiful. “I love you too, so much.”
20.
“Now stop crying dumbass.” He chastises lightheartedly, wiping his tears with his thumb.
19.
“Okay.” Dazai mumbles, sniffling.
18.
Chuuya presses a kiss to his forehead.
17.
And then his left cheek.
16.
The right under his eye.
15.
Then the same in the right side.
14.
And his cheek there too.
13.
Dazai giggles. “What are you doing?”
12.
“Trying to hear the laugh that I so love, and it’s working.” He whispers.
11.
“We should probably head back inside with everyone else, huh?” Dazai asks, clearly not liking the idea.
10.
“We can stay here.” The ginger states, stroking his husband cheeks.
9.
He presses their foreheads together, and they both count with the crowd, though quieter, just for them to hear.
“8.”
“7.”
“6.”
“5.”
“4.”
“3.”
“2.”
“1.”
Chuuya presses his lips to his husband’s, his arms going around his neck as Dazai’s go around his waist.
Maybe the party wasn’t such a bad idea.
Still, Dazai couldn’t wait to go ho and have his Chibi all to himself.
I mean, it was new years, isn’t it suppose to be a night to remember?
He’d make sure it was one Chuuya would never forget.

Aw man, it’s not looking good for me chat
I guess it’s time for a long ramble vent post, on the off chance it’ll help. Nobody needs to read this, I just think maybe articulating this might make me feel better
Every single night, I seem to have a breakdown. For the past three weeks, it’s been every night. Last three months it’s only been like, once or twice a week. I’m scared that I’m falling apart. I just want to be okay.
I hung out with my creepy friends because I guess I’m so desperate for attention and for someone to want me that I don’t really care anymore. I thought I didn’t care anyways, but now I feel sick and like I never want to have to see them again. I don’t even know why I’m friends with them. They’re racist, one of them is homophobic, and they don’t give a single shit about my boundaries. I actually said that- “Why am I even friends with you two”- while I was there, and it hurt their feelings and now I feel terrible about that. I probably shouldn’t but I feel like an awful friend for that. An awful friend to a homophobic girl who’s assaulted me a bunch of times cause she thinks it’s funny. And somehow I’m the bad friend, cause I was rude.
I don’t even know if it’s still assault at this point anyways. It was only the one girl this time, the other one (the tall one) wasn’t that bad. And like, I knew full well that stuff was gonna happen. I willingly went to a sleepover with people who’ve assaulted me. I barely even bothered saying no this time- so it feels wrong to call it assault. It’s definitely my fault.
I have an 81% in chemistry right now. I’m so fucking stupid that the best I can get is a B, and I’m supposed to be good at science. I’ve probably lost my physics A by now, and definitely my English one because I’m worthless and I can’t get anything done and it feels like I’m trying so hard but I just have nothing to show for it. This was my only chance at actually becoming a scientist, and I’ve failed. I need at least a 90% in chemistry 11 to even have a hope at getting into a science program at university. I don’t want to give up, but there’s no way I can get my grade up by 9% in three weeks, and I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to do chemistry related stuff anyways, I want to focus on biology. But I only got a 95% in bio 11 and that doesn’t even matter because every single course pretty much only looks at your chemistry grade. I’m so good and smart at anything related to mycology but I’m never going to get to study or research that because I’m stupid and lazy and my mental health being too shitty to get a decent chemistry grade as a 16yr old is going to fuck up the rest of my life. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to forgive myself for that. I’m trying my best but it’s not good enough and I don’t think it’s ever going to be
My relationship with my parents is… eugh. My mom’s always mad at me and I just wish that I could tell her about everything that’s been happening but I can’t. I’d settle for asking her for a hug but I’m too scared to do that. My dad is my dad. He’s fine, but we’re definitely very far from being close.
I miss my brother and my best friend so fucking much that it hurts. Like actually. I can feel it. The two people that I’m closest to in the whole world leave my life at the same time, right before I start grade eleven, and I just can’t handle all of this alone. I need someone, and of course that led me to turning to my creepy friends, but that’s another mess. I miss my brother. I need him because my house feels so wrong without him. I’m so lonely without him. My best friend promised to be there for me when he moved out. She ducking promised. We’ve been best friends for nine years.
and when I actually really really really need her, she suddenly just disappears. I haven’t seen her in months. And she lives next door.
There’s a bunch of other stuff but I think those are the biggest things that are messing me up rn
if you read this whole thing, I’m very sorry
