#i get to see a friend I haven't seen for a whole month finally tomorrow#its gonna be awesome#he's actually the guy who triggered my spiderverse phase because he took me to see the movie#and now he's gonna have to deal with the consequences of that when we finally catch up#eheheheheheh#i still have the movie ticket#i use it ad a bookmark in my spiderverse art books#i plan on getting a proper bookmark tomorrow (fingers crossed i can find it)#I'm kinda spamming long tags because i have a horrible confession#that involves cereal#but you're gonna have to wait just a teeenyyy tiiinnyy bit more#so#let me tell you what I've done so far today#i did dishes! I washed my counters and stovetop#and i did some character sketches#and experimenting with coloring styles in both traditional and digital art#(but i cant share them yet because I'm not done them. theyre in gift art for my friends :3)#I might actually sell the ocs I've been making lately because i have absolutely no need for them. theyre just experimental work#okay sin time#i tried cereal...with water. choco fruity pebs. i dont have milk currently#.........it wasn't bad#anyways goodnight!

#undertale#deltarune#utdr#comic#crossover comic#twin runes#twin runes au#twin runes comic#kris dreemurr#frisk#toriel#asgore#was about time that they burnt these things to the ground#toriel clearly has everything under control#let her handle the rest#I guess that would be thearpeutic to burn down your own wedding bouquet after a messy divorce#little behind the scenes info: so... the whole thing with kris and frisk blacking out during the fall#the original script called for them both NOT being caught by Toriel and Asgore#but they were actually supposed to land on the ground with a loud cracking sound and not move anymore#I DID draw that in the original sketch#but looking at it from an outside perspective was INCREDIBLY dark#I knew they were gonna be fine but it might've been extremely unsettling especially after that heroic scene from Frisk#considering this comic is like 13+ I didn't really know if this was appropriate or not#so I opted for some Toriel and Asgore character development instead#and yes that part of asgore's dialog about catching Kris when the fall from high places...#IS supposed to imply that Kris has fallen from many high places before#much to their parents' chagrin

Finished the game couple of days ago and had some thoughts I needed to process a little. Like. Yes.
So anyway I actually didn't plan this and just wanted to redraw some sprites to just make sure I understand how to draw Siffrin correctly (still working on that!)
What did I learn from this? How fun it it to draw on a canvas that literally doesn't let you draw with colors without some layer cheating when necessary. Never tried it.
The beans. Sleeping beans.
Basically what happens when you want to sleep AND draw. Draw characters sleeping on your behalf.
Doesn't help, but at least it's cute.
I have no idea what was going on in my mind as I drew this. Feels like a fever dream of 'I want to sleep' at 4 am and 'Hm...' of thinking random things
Also that phone craft sign. Still too funny to imagine. I had to.

December old pen sketch of hsr au Loop but as a 5* variant aka closer to Two Hats ending rather than just the start of the game

#edit for clarification: i did draw these immediately after fr announced their kirin breed HOWEVER#this was because they (and the mh kirin) were too similar to my initial design so i had to change some features to distinguish the#m.#dragon#kirin#solstice#sketches#man this character doesnt match any existing species. time for gargoyles and kirins! (edgeworth not pictured)#mael stronghart#of course the gavin brothers were the actual characters we came up with using the kirin for... but i had a much stronger vision for this gu#like amaru they can be winged or wingless. solstice 'species' are absurdly flexible and all can produce viable offspring with each other#despite extreme morphological differences. eg amaru (synapsidthing)/lotan (sea serpent) is entirely possible#itll just have hybridized features. so it's well within reason that an some amaru or kirin inherited wings from another species way back
