You don't even understand just how excited I am for this aespa comeback. I missed the futuristic aesthetic everyone was doing in the early 2000s and I haven't seen anyone attempt it since. I have high hopes because aespa's songs and concepts are always phenomenal, easily the best in the industry, but I'm still hoping they don't drop the ball on this like gidle did with superlady

Okay so a thing that has bothered me ever since I first watched Chat Blanc was Bunnyx and the general time travel stuff because tghis makes no sense. In the Chat Blanc time line, after Chat Blanc destroyes the universe, everyone is dead. Including adult!Alix aka Bunnyx. So the Bunnyx fron the Chat Blanc timeline doesn'rt exist anymore, meaning that the Bunnyx fron the episode is from a parallel timeline where Chat Blanc didn't destroy the universe. That however raises the question why she would even care about that other timeline. Is her quest to assure victory over Monarch in every single timeline because that sounds exhausting as hell. I also don't understand the deal with her leg disappearing while she witnesses the fight between LB and CB, it has no reason to, because LB defeating CB doesn't have any effect on Bunnyx because, as stated earlier, the Bunnyx from that timeline is already dead! And honestly, the fact that Lb even had to fight CB makes no sense. They could've just went back in time 2 minutes so LB can erase her name from the letter (or just be quicker so Adrien doesn't see her) and CB doesn't happen in the first place!

Like, genuine question, what was the point of the whole thing? I mean other than the concept is cool and the writers wanted to give LB trauma (which never really plays a significant part in the overall story anyway??)

Sorry for rambling so much, I don't know if this makes any sense, the episode was really confusing to me and idk if it's just because the episode actually doesn't make sense or because I just don't understand it bc time travel is really confusing. Would really love to hear your opinion!

You're fine and you're not missing a thing. The episode simply doesn't make sense nor am I sure why it even exists. I know a lot of people love it, but I really don't get the hype. It runs off of nonsense logic and makes most of the characters look really bad.

Let's start with the lore.

The canon lore is that Bunnyx only travels through time, not universes, so it makes no freaking sense that an adult Bunnyx would be able to stop Chat Blanc since the existence of Chat Blanc should stop her from existing. It's a total paradox that goes against everything we'd been told about her powers. Of course, she's also supposed to be the hero of last resort, yet we hear about her hanging out with famous historical figures and the season five final sees her acting as a substitute for the horse miraculous even though the people she portals in don't do a thing to help with the final battle, so it's not like Chat Blanc is the only time her powers and role get ignored. Any time I use the rabbit, I have to completely rework its lore because canon is just so bad at time travel. I like Alix and her adult design is awesome, but any time Bunnyx shows up, I expect to be annoyed.

Also, I will never forgive her for just dumping Ladybug back in our time without so much as a word of encouragement or any reassurance that the Chat Blanc stuff was only a maybe. And Ladybug was the one to figure out how to fix time!!! Alix, you suck at your job! Or this is just another case of the writers refusing to let someone other than Marinette save the day even though the poor girl really needs a day off.

As for why this episode exists? I don't even know, dude. It makes no sense. Back when we thought it was going to be a driving force in the season four conflict - an assumption that was backed up by Marinette's nightmare in sentibubbler - the episode kinda made sense in spite of its flaws. But we're two seasons past Chat Blanc and the only person who is apparently traumatized by it is Adrien.

Yes, the writers actually said this. No, you didn't miss an episode where Adrien learned about Chat Blanc. They were talking about the nightmares from the final:

Mélanie says that he "could become Chat Blanc" and the others add that even though he does not remember and has never lived it, Chat Blanc still has an influence on his actions.

Yes, this is embarrassingly bad writing. The character who never saw or even heard of Chat Blanc is somehow the one who is traumatized and effected by it while Marinette's trauma has nothing do to with Chat Blanc or the events of the season four final. Instead, it's random BS that was never even hinted at until season five. I just... what?

In case it wasn't obvious - which I guess it isn't given that professional writers missed this - the logical way to write this to have the season four conflict be about Chat Blanc from Ladybug's side. After the conflict ends, she reveals everything to Chat Noir who becomes terrified of hurting people with his powers. This is only exacerbated by the events of Destruction. But then the show would have had to let Chat Noir have a character arc that didn't revolve around Ladynette and the series seems allergic to that as a concept, so instead Adrien gets magical trauma that keeps him from the final fight. And I thought the Derision retcon was bad!

Other issues with Chat Blanc in no particular order:

It cements Nathalie as just as bad a Gabriel since she's the one who tells him Adrien's secret identity and we then see her do nothing to try to protect Adrien.

It makes Gabriel irredeemable by showing him gleefully hurting his child. Dude punts his son across the city with a smile on his face!

It makes Adrien look slimy since he asks Marinette out without telling her that he knows her secret identity. This one is in a bit of a grey area for me because the secret identity stuff is complicated, but Adrien has never been the one who cared about secret identities AND he's the one who has been directly turned down in hero form. The episode takes none of that into consideration with its writing and it really needed to for Adrien to feel like he had a valid point of view here. As is, he's taking advantage of a situation and putting his Lady love at risk for his own wants.

The pillow sniff scene makes Marinette look unhinged.

It spits in the face of The Power of Love by having Adrien's love fail to be enough to stop him from killing Marinette.

Marinette's parents should have gotten involved after Gabriel threatened her. There is no way in hell that I'd let my kid go over to the Agreste mansion after that. If the writers were once again determined to not let Tom and Sabine parent, then the threat should have come when Marinette was alone.

Why did Ladybug even need to go to the future if Bunnyx could have just gone back in time and stopped Ladybug from leaving the present for Adrien? Why did Chat Blanc even need to be defeated? What did Ladybug's ladybug actually fix when she cast her charm?

This is minor, but it bothers me: Chat Noir should not have been smiling and happy when he was freed from his akuma. That boy should have been in the middle of a breakdown.

I know people forgive some of the above because Chat Blanc is sort of an AU and I'm not going to say that's wrong, I just can't look at it that way because there's nothing that sets Chat Blanc apart from the normal timeline. The Paris special gives us an AU. Chat Blanc (and Ephemeral) are what the writers told us would happen in the canon timeline if Gabriel ever discovered his son's secrets. Canon Gabriel was the one doing those things and would have done them again if given the chance. This is who the writers said he is. Same goes for all the other characters who come across less than stellar here.

There's a reason why I love a good Chat Blanc rewrite. It's an idea with a lot of potential, but canon capitalizes on almost none of it.

jack from lost i always really hated, and i still do, but in a way where i almost like him because i hate him so much??? like, it's hilarious and special to me how much he sucks, and how consistently, always. jears forever.

jess mariano, but that's just because gg fandom has driven me crazy over the past 20 years in that regard, hyping him up so much, and i'm a hateful crone. technically he is fine.

christopher hayden is pretty bad. yeah, i think i can say with confidence i dislike christopher hayden.

extremely ashamed to report that i have sort of developed an occasional soft spot for dean forrester in my old age. awful! i'm not proud, okay! but i'm being honest.

i do hate rupert from ted lasso. but like. i don't think i get a prize for that one. that's an extremely easy dude to hate.

oh. i lowkey kinda hate nigel from cbs ghosts. i apologize, but i do. i think isaac could do better. i wish he would go for the australian stripper dinosaur enthusiast from the most recent episode. wouldn't it be hilarious if they decided to kill that lap dancer so he could become isaac's new boyfriend? i should write this show. it would be stunning and universally beloved and full of murders just to expand the friend group.

i am kind of bothered by joel mchale's character in animal control specifically because he's so identical to jeff winger in mannerisms that i just feel like jeff winger abandoned his greendale family and started a new life as an animal control man in seattle. i don't like this feeling. i just want to scream, "go back to greendale, jeff! i know frank isn't your real name!!!!" at the screen every second. does this count as disliking a character?

Hi! First of all, I want to say I really appreciate your videos - they have given us all such a newfound appreciation for minsung 😍

I have seen some theories floating around since the fan meeting about Lee Know and his friend who dressed as Leebit during the whole of the fanmeeting. We all know that Lee Know often jokes that people are his boyfriends (this friend, Han, even Hyunjin) so generally no one takes those comments seriously but some people have started wondering whether they are actually in a relationship and whether this is a soft launch of sorts (it seems the argument is that being in a mascot costume for hours over three days just seems like a lot for just a friend). It also would make sense Han knows him since Han (all things aside) is very close to LK. I’m curious whether you have any general views on this?

I have also always seen LK as the type to like to keep his personal emotions, feelings and life quite private. I have shipped Minsung for a while now but I am curious to hear from you what you think about the fact that they have become much more “obvious”/affectionate lately - do you think that could suggest they’re not actually in a relationship (since both LK and Han seem like the private type to me) or that it’s the company trying to push minsung or do you think something has changed that has made them more open to expressing themselves? I’m loving it personally but it was shy LK (the “do you like me in that way?” comment) that made me start shipping them so I guess I am just not sure what to do with the major escalation in minsung land over the past few months.

I’ve seen the discourse around the whole friend thing and I have to giggle. I think a lot of fans misunderstood what LK said when talking about his friend. He said that he was the friend that took “boyfriend” photos of him which is a common term that's used to describe how a photo is taken, not that he was the guy who he jokingly called “boyfriend” in the vlog to get a reaction out of Han. Idk if its the same friend though (unless anyone else here knows lmao).

And about them being “open” I think there’s a huge difference between stuff meant to get the audience hyped up (i.e: the teleprompter stuff at the Japan concerts) and them just naturally gravitating towards each other, interacting, or laughing together at something (which is like 90% of the their moments we got during the fanmeet, outside of their duet during the first day, the quick WSB performance, and maybe the sign that Han answered to). Other duos I say were more blatant about things during those three days (For ex. LK and CB playfully fighting over HJ, 2min’s antics on stage, FeIix/LK almost kissing eo on stage, etc.)

I think many fans underestimate how private they actually are together. It’s just that every moment of theirs gets hyped up since they’re a popular duo, even if other duos are much more (open?) about things (i.e: JiIix pretending to kiss eo, CB playfully flirting with HJ all the time). 

The members have said it during the 2022 kids room that they’re generally secretive about their bond and we see that even more in recent times. Remember when they went to France a couple of months back and fans saw each duo spend time together in their spare time? (The Maknaes, HyunIix, LK/Han, Chan/Changbin?) and then a week or so later we literally got a SKZ TaIker of vlogs of EVERY duo except LK/Han. The only thing we got was Han verbally saying that they spent time together. 

And then there’s the 2kids show episode where they were very visibly nervous (during the first half especially), they would downplay their bond like, “I don’t know this guy!” “We don’t pay attention to eo!” “The only time we hang out is when the fans see us!” and LK quickly fumbling over the whole we don’t need to sneak out thing, etc. (before they eventually loosen up a bit and contradict themselves on some things). I think a lot of things from that episode cemented them being private about things. Cause if it was all jokes and sayings to get the fans hyped up I don’t think they would have been nervous at all. They would freely joke about things like FeIix/CB did, for example.

Outside of the stage (where all of the members seem to visibly relax and have fun), they seem very “gatekeepy” about a lot of things they do together, especially in recent times, compared to prior years.

Personal opinion: I also think because other members/duos are very visibly affectionate on camera (some even more than LK/Han) and have been so since forever, that would probably make them feel more comfortable to be so as well.

Either the episode was written by a SPN fan or CBS is testing the waters to see if "Supernatural" without the actual supernatural could work in Tracker by adding Dean 2.0 as a recurring character. 

The ep was (at least partly) written by Elwood Reid - the same EP/writer from BS who was a Jensen groupie. He's also an EP/writer on Tracker (part of why it was so easy for Jensen to be on). ER also talked him up a LOT when he was on BS, acting like Jensen was some A-list actor who just happened to deign to visit their set. He (and Jensen) is why there were really blatant SPN Easter eggs in BS too (remember how AAs praised Jensen for writing/adding the lines on his own, completely ignoring and discrediting writers, meanwhile any time Jared even breaths near something that could be tangentially related to SPN on the Walker set those same idiots tell him he has zero claim on his own show he was lead on for 15 years and isn't allowed).

As for why is was all so very "dean", well that (according to Jensen himself) was Jensen's choice:

I know we get dude in #Tracker tonight, so a little story. I wore my “I Miss Dean” shirt to the brewery event last weekend and as soon as dude saw it he was like “you know that episode of Tracker I did? I asked how they saw me playing it and they told me to do what I know best. So if you miss Dean, you’re going to get quite a bit of Dean on Tracker because he’s what I do best.” So it was a conscious choice and I am so excited by this.

He literally claimed they asked him how he wanted to play it and he said "just like Dean because I'm a one trick pony" (paraphrasing but I think the intent is still the same lol).

Link. Right, you reminded me it was mentioned here a few weeks ago that Elwood Reid was the showrunner of Big Sky in season 2 & 3 as well as it’s writer/executive producer. The Elwood Reid Inc is one of the production companies behind Tracker.

Jensen could end up on Tracker regardless if there is a 35 day rating bump or not and if other producers are game. Granted I've only seen the pilot what seems like many moons ago, but a Dean Winchester doesn't seem like it would fit in Tracker.

I really need to read Elwood's talking up Jensen, do you have the source? It sounds like Eric Kripke's kind of hype talk over Jensen's jarring cameo on Gen V.

A serious post ahead:

I know it's become super trendy to hate on Takeomi, and I'm guilty of joining the trend myself, after seeing the info in CB#4, but!

It got me thinking about his character, and just how damn unfair Wakui was towards him. He introduced Takeomi with all the hype possible (cocky, sarcastic chainsmoker who was Shinichiro's right hand man, the Vice-Commander of the OG Black Dragon, the so-called "God of War", etc), and signaled very clearly that he's going to be super important to the story (the "3 mysterious Akashi siblings", in Senju's own words), only to completely abandon him in the last arc!

And before you ask, no, I am not defending him in any way, and I am even less of his apologist. This is not about the character's likeability and morality, but about the way he is written.

However, I'm not a (professional) writer, and I can't really talk much about character development, plot resolution, etc. 'cause I don't wanna talk out of my ass about something I'm not competent enough to talk about, but I do think it's more than clear that Wakui did him dirty.

He made us squint at Takeomi, like: "Is he a good guy, is he a bad guy, what is his deal, really?" And it was interesting, it made us think. And then we saw a tiny bit of his backstory, he became slightly more relatable, we realized he isn't inherently evil, but... then there came the chapter 241 and we saw what a shitty brother he was to Haru. And yet again, we were left wondering if Takeomi is someone to hate or not.

But that was it, we were left there, hanging on the cliff of his character arc that never happened for real. We never got to see what had really happened between him and Haruchiyo, and most importantly - why it happened. We can all agree that Takeomi is a horrible big brother, it's just a fact. But I also have a strong impression that there was supposed to be an explanation for his attitude towards Haru. Just like how Taiju was abusive to Hakkai and Yuzuha because he wanted them to become "strong", maybe Takeomi had his own similarly warped idea to make Haruchiyo "toughen up" by being unreasonably harsh and strict towards him.

It is one of my greatest disappointments in the manga, that Takeomi as a character was never expanded on. I'm pretty sure he'd have become one of the most relatable and compelling, if not likeable, characters. We see him being flawed, very flawed, and with very real, mundane flaws, that all of us have to some extent. He's suffering from low self esteem, he's trying to make a name/reputation for himself, he's struggling with the responsibility of parenting two kids who are not his kids but siblings, and at such a young age! If you have younger siblings, you most likely know from personal experience how wrong it is to push older children in the family to parent the younger ones, instead of parents parenting all of them!

And yeah, we could argue now that the Mitsuya were in a very similar situation, but Takashi turned out just fine.

First of all, in real life, every person is an individual, and every person's experience is different, and no family circumstances are the same. And since TR depicts family issues, social issues, and (inter)personal issues in an exceptionally realistic manner (main reason why I love it so much!), same can be said for the Akashi and the Mitsuya. Mama Mitsuya is a single mother, but she seems to be as present in her kids' lives as possible, while working her ass off to provide for them. She seems to be a good parent, and therefore the Mitsuya family is not toxic. They all love and support each other.

And to retrace to the abovementioned hypothesis that "Takashi turned out just fine" - did he, really?! He's in a delinquent biker gang, he ran away from home at least once because he couldn't deal with the pressure, he drew (illegall) graffitti, he got a temple tattoo, spent time in a brothel playing poker... His character is very understated and lowkey, so we don't exactly tend to think of him in that light, but when we look at the facts... he's not as much of an angel as he may seem.

Back to the analysis of Takeomi, his parents are not present in his and his siblings' lives. We never got a single hint about what happened with their mother, and all we know about their father is that he left, so the three of them were brought up by their grandma. And therefore, Takeomi had to shoulder the role of the "father". I wish we got to see at least a glimpse of his perspective on that. A glimpse of his own relationship with his parents. With his grandmother. Or why Shinichiro gave him the nickname 'Rainbringer'. Why he was so obsessed with money and "success", why he felt the need to be famous. Why he pushed Haruchiyo to his limits. So damn many unanswered questions, and it's just one single character! Wakui still owes us countless answers, and I will totally not be bitter about it forever!

Just make Tokyo Revengers 2 and answer everything properly, damn it!

Bc like. The male venom is always built like a male power fantasy, all shredded with concerning amounts of abs and that, and the female is… highly sexualized. Like, yeah, it’s creepy, I guess, but they both have their bases in like. Non-horror. Like the only real indicator that this thing wants to eat you is those teeth.

Imagine a venomsona that is not muscular or 85 percent tit (you do you tho, it is aesthetic, I suppose), but fucking *spindly* and visibly inhuman. Like, the ribs are clearly visible, and the hips jut out sharply, because this fucker is HUNGRY. The legs are digitigraded with one backwards facing toe, and each toe is equipped with claws. Inhumanly flexible, I’m not talking seductive, I’m talking unnerving, something that moves like it’s got a spine made of water, all of 7 ft tall and borderline emaciated. It’s not human, not near human enough to be read as male or female. (Gender = hunger, in case you’re wondering).

it just sank in that the ACT: PROMISE world tour starts this Friday??

i feel like we’ve been bombarded with all these schedules and content recently that there wasn’t enough opportunity to miss them a little bit before the tour starts 🥲

i’m sure many MOAs are anticipating this tour, as am i, but personally i think the level of anticipation i would have had for the tour would be higher if it would have been the singular focus of promotions for a stretch of time

they’ve finished up promotions for their latest album/cb, did music bank antwerp, and they’ve announced a jp cb, all within this month alone

not to mention the solo activities/variety show features of the members that were coming up too

there were just so many things to keep up with that the hype for the tour wasn’t really sustained :(

my #1 tv show recommendation is to watch the challenge. i literally never cared about competition reality shows besides antm and now i am Obsessed because the challenge is perhaps the greatest show of our generation. i beg of you to watch this compilation video it captures the overall spirit of the show So well and it's also hilarious.

ok now other shows ❤️ i'm not gonna mention shows like succession that are super big on tumblr or well-known prestige television like breaking bad or the sopranos because i'm sure you've already seen plenty of people recommending those yknow? so yeah.

cowboy bebop (anime). the live action does not exist to me. anyway. cowboy bebop is sci-fi. it's western. it's jazz. it's comedy. it's tragedy. it's about love and identity and bounty hunting and a little corgi. there's a reason why it's often called one of the greatest anime of all time. this kinda violates my no reccing super popular shows rule but i think people who don't watch much anime may not be familiar with cowboy bebop so i figured i have a duty to the people.

the get down. i wholeheartedly believe that the get down is the greatest thing netflix has ever produced and it's a goddamn tragedy that it was canceled, but what does exist is just. incredible. it's about the rise of rap and hip-hop, the death of disco, and struggling to figure out identity and the meaning of success in the bronx in the 1970s. created & produced by baz lurhmann, the show incorporates archival footage of new york and real people with fictional narratives in a truly masterful way. it's absolutely gorgeous. the music is fucking fantastic. it's So worth watching and i wish that it had gotten the same hype as other netflix shows like st, oitnb, etc.

speaking of netflix. american vandal. if the get down is the best thing netflix has ever produced, american vandal is a very close second, and i could honestly be persuaded to swap their places, but ANYWAY. it's a mockumentary wherein a kid named peter and his best friend sam attempt to solve the mystery of who spray-painted twenty-seven dicks on twenty-seven cars in the staff parking lot at their high school. it's one of the funniest shows i've ever seen, and also the only show i've ever found to be accurate to the contemporary teenage experience. it's also like... insanely accurate as a parody and critique of real true crime documentaries. also if you're following me you're probably an st fan, and eduardo franco (argyle!!) is in american vandal as well, if that motivates you any more.

xena: warrior princess. it's the best show of all time and also the worst show of all time. everything that people say about shows like supernatural and glee and riverdale? xena did that shit back in the 90s, they did it better, and they did it with lesbians. they did it with swords. they did it with aphrodite. they did it with leather and whips and clones and reincarnation and true love's kiss. please watch xena.

community. if you haven't watched community idk what you're doing with your life to be quite honest. just watch it already.

GLOW. attention all tumblrinas who like messy complicated stupid mean scheming sexy women. you will fucking love glow. sorry i'm recommending so many netflix shows but i can't Not mention glow on here it would be a betrayal of my lesbianism. it is about sexy women wrestling. it's got blood. it's got tits. it's got storytelling. it's got 80s music. it's got fucking your best friend's husband as a means of feeling closer to her. yellowjackets fans i'm looking at you. watch glow.

ghosts (bbc). not cbs. dear god not cbs. bbc. but yeah ghosts is a sitcom about a young couple who suddenly inherit an old home (manor? thing? man i don't fuckin know english aristocracy stuff) full of ghosts. it's a fun, simple premise, and some parts of the show can be corny, but the actors sell it so well that it's just a pleasure to watch. if you're into sitcoms, i think it's worth giving ghosts a shot!

CBS Ghosts - Hello! - Haunting Regrets

Warning - Spoilers May Appear.

Thor seems to be the only one excited about this.  

Plan is working!  Meanwhile, look at everyone else’s faces.  Hetty’s in the window, clearly worried about Sam, and everyone else looks disappointed and upset.  

I love how Sass points out how terrible it is and both Trevor and Flower are sitting rather close together and upset.  It's clear that they definitely feel bad about the situation.

OKAY OKAY! Isaac doesn’t care - he’s too upset about Hamilton.  I like the way that he’s sitting - it’s the same way that Trevor sits in TB when he’s sulking and upset.

On the other hand, Isaac shouldn't you care A LITTLE about Sam?

Also, notice that Trevor and Flower are also leaning back in a somewhat sulking manner.  Isaac sulking is surprisingly adorable.  We should see this more often.  

Side note - anyone wonder if he sulks when Nigel comes and goes during their “keeping the peace talks” over the years? I'm willing to bet that he does.

I love this - Alberta calls Isaac ‘Soldier Boy’ - which makes me wonder how close they actually are.   (We see hints of a rivalry and a deep friendship in later episodes of season 2, so very curious). Meanwhile Trevor’s got no issues talking about how he used his power for Isaac.  This is a subtle flex.  He wants the praise.

I wonder if the reason that Trevor mentions this BECAUSE he’s the one that COULDN’T get his power to work during the ‘Haunting’ and so he’s like ‘SEE I’m not as useless as you all think.’ (Even though I am certain that NONE of the ghosts would give him trouble about that - it's just an insecurity thing).

I like that he’s picked up on Jay’s name and seems okay and not as tired as the other ghosts are when they use their power. He's pretty strong.

I like how Isaac doesn’t downplay Hamilton’s accomplishments, even though he could have.  Instead, he admits that he’s impressed almost.  

(Mind you - I wonder if Trevor would’ve just agreed or disagreed knowing how terrible Isaac’s feeling?) I’m sure that he would’ve let Isaac tell the lie (since he lies about his pants - which is stupid, let’s face it).  Just because he knows that Isaac may need that to feel better.

Trevor’s just like “yeah, you know where this is going.”   Isaac Higgintoot is 15 letters AND Trevor would've had to delete Hamilton's name. So that's ALOT of WORK.

Sass and Alberta look like they know that it wasn’t much (they’re so side-eying Trevor here) and even Flower’s like ‘aw’.  Visually, I really like that image of Trevor and Flower on the couch.  They’re kind of cute together.  

But I also like the four of them on the couch together because they just fit well.

OMG!  Trevor is like panting and breathing heavily.  Meanwhile, Isaac could care less since he’s like ‘I’m a footnote’.  Interesting thing here is that Isaac apparently thought he did enough to be in history books?  Despite the fact that he wasn’t really around in certain situations - like the ones listed in the history books?  

Is it possible that he'd been lying to himself all this time?

Side note - he thanked Trevor, right?  Because somehow, I imagine that he doesn’t because he’s disappointed in the results, in which case, poor Trev.  He literally worked for hours to type that up and look for him and he’s panting as if he’s run a race and Isaac’s just like “this is it???”

I mean, I still feel bad for him, especially here.  He’s like “I’m rarely mentioned - only one FOOTNOTE”... on the plus side, I LOVE ‘I’m literally a footnote in history’ is a hilarious line.  I also like that he’s just laying back totally not himself.  It shows how deeply affected he is by it.  I wonder if it’s making him flash back to getting into the ‘Free Masons’ and being excluded or if he puffed up his importance after his death and bought into his own hype.  

Maybe after he died and he had to stay with Thor/Sass who probably gave him a hard time about his death and seeing Nigel (who he killed), made him hype himself up to feel better?  I mean, he is really into being considered their leader.  He wants and expects the respect.

LMAO - Pete tries to make him feel better and Trevor’s making a joke that his school was a not as good school.

I feel like part of the reason he does this is 

A) because it’s too sad and serious (which we know that he doesn’t like Ala ‘this {talking about my death with my parents} is so depressing - talk about something fun’.  

B) because Isaac might not of thanked him for his efforts.

and / or C) because he’s feeling bad about his idea driving Sam crazy and wants it to be funny. He doesn't want to think about his guilt.

Trevor very much likes avoid sadness - he’s the fun-loving frat boy and wants everyone to be happy and have fun, so I could see his ‘jokes’ as an attempt to deal with that.

OMG THOSE SIDE EYES.  Flower and Sass are just like “the fuck you doing boy”.  Flower may also be regretting sitting so close to Trevor right now.  

I wonder if aside from Maybe Pete, any of them know what a “safety school” is?  Does Trevor making this joke make any sense to them?  Also, it’s telling of Trevor’s intelligence that he thinks Dartmouth is a safety school.  

According to Google (because Google is right about everything) - Dartmouth in an Ivy League school started in 1769, with their admission requirements basically being a Straight A average and top twenty-five placement in their graduating class.  They require recommendations and high test scores and 6% admission rate.  

IDK what it was like in 1987 when Trevor would’ve graduated HS and gone to college, but I can’t imagine it was some terrible choice.  So, this says ALOT about Trevor’s intelligence (which often gets ignored because his dumbass decision when he died).  

But again, would ANY of the ghosts even know what a ‘safety school’ is?

It’s so interesting that Isaac has never mentioned musicals or that the three on the couch seemed ‘surprised’ that he’s really into the musical thing.

Again with these three - Isaac acts like it should be such a surprise, but Sass is just like “huh, military type = Isaac, yeah no”.

Flower is nodding along eagerly - IDK if she’s confused at this point or mocking him a bit.  

Trevor’s just like “Yeah, Bro.  Totally.” He's the type to tell people what they want to hear.

And Isaac has no idea. It’s so funny.  I wonder what Alberta was doing here - she, Thor and Hetty are in the room, but aren’t seen at this point.

I love this move by Isaac - it’s AWESOME.  IDK what it is but there’s just something about it that I like.

And lastly, we have Pete.  Not at all surprised either and not knowing what to do.

ANYWAY, the most of the ghosts are feeling bad.  While some are rather focused on themselves, but no worries guys - your new best friend will be back soon!
