Regulus is sitting at the table trying to read while James is puttering around in the kitchen. Regulus is desperately trying to focus but his eyes keep drifting over to James.

At one point, Regulus glances over just as the sunlight catches on James’ gold-rimmed glasses and Regulus can’t help but think how beautiful the gold looks on him. It’s a shame James doesn’t wear any jewelry. Regulus thinks he would look stunning with a gold chain around his neck or maybe an earring that would peek out every time he runs his hands through his hair. His hands that would look so good with a few gold rings scattered across his fingers.  

Regulus is watching James’ hands as he reaches to the top shelf, but a small glimmer of gold catches his eye. His gaze drops to where James’ shirt is riding up and Regulus’ eyes widen as he chokes on air drawing James’ attention.  

“Are you okay?” James asks.

His shirt has fallen back down but Regulus hasn’t stopped staring. “Yeah.” He chokes out. “I uhh… I didn’t know you had a umm…” Regulus trails off.

James follows his gaze, glancing down and lifting his shirt to give Regulus a proper look at the gold bar that’s pierced through James' belly button and Regulus can’t help the way his breath hitches.  

“Oh, this?” James smirks.

Regulus tries to say something, or at least pull his eyes away, but he can’t. All he can think about is how beautiful that gold bar looks against James’ bronze skin. Regulus was right, gold jewelry looks stunning on James and it’s criminal that this is covered more often than not.

After several moments, James clears his throat and drops his shirt breaking Regulus out of his trance. James stares at him shamelessly with one eyebrow raised and Regulus shakes his head to clear his thoughts.

“Sorry.” Regulus croaks. “I just uhh… I just didn’t know you had that.” Regulus tries to regain his composure as he focuses back on his book.

“It’s alright.” James shrugs. “Glad you like it.”

“I never said I—” Regulus starts to protest.

“I’m sure you’ll like my nipple rings also.” He adds casually and Regulus’ eyes snap back just in time to see James’ smirk before he turns away, unconcerned with the chaos he’s caused in Regulus’ mind.

Since we already hate the scene for the cringe level of second-hand embarrassment, them forcing us to make this scene important 2 seasons later is mega-annoying. Like, 2 Seasons ago Adrien's "feelings changed"???? Because it sure didn't seem that way to anyone watching!

And I'm extra dead because they had the scene in Season 4 where Marinette gave her genuine love confession to "Buttercup" and you can literally see Chat Noir be touched and moved by it and THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN WHERE THINGS STARTED TO CHANGE-

after digging himself out of his grave, ghost puts himself on a dangerous cocktail of muscle relaxers and other medications; hormones that block hybrid instincts, vasodilators to increase blood flow and stop his muscles locking up, anti-anxiety meds to cut off his surprise response at the root. he puts his body through the wringer to the point that medical is constantly worried for his health and shocked that he isn't regularly OD’ing

alrightalrightalright what about an au where newly knighted obi-wan kenobi is working as a jedi on a hugely top secret project in the middle of nowhere, outer rim, with a very small amount of help from the jedi order and strict instructions to not let anyone know what he's doing - and one night he gets involved in something he has no business getting involved in but this is obi-wan, after all, he never can leave well enough alone. he's trying to bust and rescue a slave ring he uncovers (again, completely on accident, he just took a night off for a drink)

and he decides to go undercover himself to get back to where the (pleasure) slaves are being held so he can set about freeing them, but before he's done, smuggler anakin skywalker bursts in and rushes all of them onto his ship to get them away, taking well-meaning but solidly jedi obi-wan with him

but obi-wan IS under strict orders to not disclose anything about himself or why he was on the planet because this is a super secret jedi project....and anakin thinks he just rescued him from slavery, so it's not like he can just politely ask to be dropped back off roughly around the location he was picked up

and the longer they fly about the galaxy, the more obi-wan is hesitant to return at all. not that he has issues with the order or anything. not that he doesn't feel extremely uncomfortable lying to anakin about his past when anakin is being very kind and understanding and opening up about his own past as a slave....

but despite his duty to the order to return to that planet, despite the guilt he feels when he cannot be as honest with anakin as the smuggler is with him....he sorta...he sorta really likes the other man. he likes the type of freedom he's showing him. he likes the miniature missions they send themselves on. he especially likes the way he catches anakin looking at him sometimes from the pilot's seat, as if he's the biggest, most precious, most unexpected gift he has ever received

Who wants to talk about trans soda again cause she makes me happy and it’s been a long week even though it’s only Tuesday I’ll start

Soda going from getting all the girls to all the guys wanting to date her. She absolutely adores being taken on dates and paraded around and shown off and loves all the attention, even if it gives Darry heart attacks. You know who she loves most though? Her cringe fail loser boyfriend Steve who’s head over heels for her even though they’ve known each other forever because oh my god how is she even hotter as a woman. And him doing everything he can to make her as happy as possible and taking her on as many dates as they can go on. Pony is sick and tired of watching them cuddle on the couch.

I get so many comments on my Tim series like “omg it’s so hilarious/unrealistic that he gets sick this often, take that boy to a doctor 🤣” and like, I get it, it seems like a lot if you read the series straight through. And part of it is simply because I enjoy writing hurt/comfort fics, so of course that’s what I’m going to gravitate towards. Gotta spark that joy, etc etc

….but like, you guys do realize that people who have medical issues tend to get more medical issues, right? It’s not like “oh he had three things wrong with him already so he’s hit his quota now and anything on top of that is absurd.” It’s more like… this is someone with overall subpar health from a history of chronic neglect, so yeah, he’s probably going to be more susceptible to illness than most people 🤷‍♀️
