One of the reasons I want Morpherine to be canon is for tumblrs reaction. I want to see my rarepair trend the way Poolveribe did (it was a rare pair until the movie). I wanna see homophobes getting mad that the most masculine character in the show is a "queer" like he didn't date Hercules in one comic. I wanna see the reactions of the like, 12 Morpherine shippers who shipped them before it was canon and SHIT their pants when they scream about it on tumblr. I want to see the ao3 fics for them increase. I want to see Morph become a more popular character after it.

But, that relies on Disney and Marvel not being homophobic and wanting to torture Logan with the Jean & Scott love triangle for 8 more seasons, so it probably won't happen

jim carrey as gerald also sucks btw . i already didnt think he was a particularly good choice for eggman because it feels like hes just playing himself and not eggman but seeing them take a character whos entire deal is being long dead but still impacting the story through his grief driven actions and bring him back to life and make him a main character and also turn him into a silly jim carrey character is making me turn into the joker

#also skinny eggman just inherently sucks no matter what actor it is #the casting for the game characters in sonic 3 is just so bad lmao . except for maria i feel like shes hard to mess up #and even if they do mess her up somehow alyla browne is what. 14. im not hating on a child actor. she gets a free pass here .#well its not even just the third movie tbh #the only game character id say is actually really well casted is tails and they just kept his game va for him #the others are either not great or are fine but also nothign special compared to other people who have played the same character #anyway i do think eggman and gerald being played by the same actor makes sense becuase theyre supposed to look and sound similar #its more the fact that its jim carrey specifically. i was honestly kind of hoping he did retire for real #i would have preferred an eggman-less movie over this. like i know an sa2 adaptation without eggman would be weird #because sa2 is so focused on the robotnik family (and yes i am including shadow in that) . but god . this sucks so bad .#not to mention the fact that gerald is seemingly taking rouge's spot in the dark story trio. hello. who approved this garbage #i need this movie to flop so bad but i know realistically that it wont

For anyone who wanted to watch the Tales of Symphonia Festival 20th Anniversary stream from a few weeks ago, but couldn't get the ticket, I decided to record the entire thing and put it up on g drive. It's been split into different sections and is unsubbed. So, here you go! (This may or may not stay up forever, depending).

Starts off with two character skits, then a concert, the main scenario, some free talk with the VAs, more concerts plus a fan showcase, and a final skit that one day I'm going to translate because it was so adorable and sweet.

Some highlights of the main scenario in particular include: sassy Genis and Raine banter, Presea being precious, Regal teasing a flustered Sheena, Lloyd getting a mini heart attack from Colette, Noishe's dog whines in real time (you won't guess who voices him), a trip down memory lane reliving all of the party members' traumas, cute Flanoir and Altamira deluxe suite reenactments, the audience choosing whether Zelos lives or dies, Colette's VA doing a fistpump of victory for her special scene, Sheena and Zelos sharing one brain cell, extra Mithos dialogue, and actual closure?? between Lloyd and Kratos, all written by Symphonia's scenario writer.

Anyone can feel free to translate, or wait until the DVD is up for preorder. But I had a lot of fun watching this, and think other people will too.

#rewatched ep 63 since there is no new ep this week and. still very good #the battle itself had fun choregraphy and liko's focus was so good. her VA did such a great job in this ep #and the way it seamlessly led into the ameliko ep.#when the character from the games is so good and still haunts my thoughts.#usually i am not really into characters from the games appearing in the anime but grusha can stay #his contribution to liko's arc and amlk is appreciated #also the fact that he had a mini arc of his own. he changed after meeting liko and had a few realizations of his own #which makes him interesting to me because he wasn't the same between his first and last appearance #makes it feel less like 'look at this character from the games' and more like they are utilizing his concept as a character #to further the current story and characters in refreshing ways while also treating him as a character who can change etc. it's neat!#i wonder if we'll ever see him again. i wouldn't mind tbh. i like his voice too #he should teach liko snowboard too. it'd be cute! Ok quick head canon of genshin impact, specifically of Aether as the traveller I think that Paimon speaks more than him because he is not that confident about his knowledge of Teyvat's language. Like I like how the voice line "About Language" in the travelers voice lines, Paimon tells the traveler that they learn really fast (probably because they hop from world to world) and how Paimon is really impressed! And then the remark that she is a good teacher

But like, even like that, traveler like never talks unless they have too in story, like even there is a voice line of Sucrose I think that she says "U don't really talk much" So I think that Aether just stays quiet because he is nervous to fuck it up with a pronunciation that makes him says something completely different

Bonus points if it's because of other travels where with Lumine he just started learning the languages and continuously had the experience of fucking up and saying embarrassing things, like, he meaning to say "Oh I had such a hard fight the other day, and my muscles hurt because of it" instead says "Oh I had such a hard night the other day, and my ass hurts because of it" and people just start laughing and he is just standing there confused until one of them tells him what he really said, Lumine laughing and teasing him the rest of the travel Now because Lumine it's not here he just doesn't even want to have that happen because he's already so stressed out he ain't risking it so Paimon takes over when he can't

It's really cute too how Paimon always tries to take care of Aether like mother fucker it's so cute how both take care of each other like a father-daughter type relationship specially with Aether just putting himself on the line for Paimon aaaaa

watched whitepine 1. i think i want to gather all my thoughts on part 1 before moving on to the next installments but oh wow im excited to see where this story goes

#this is one of those projects that makes me wish minecraft youtubers hired professional voiceactors.#lowkey as i watch ive been imagining this as a fortiche production. & i dont mean either this or the thing about VAs as an insult!!!#it just . would feel right. this is so great i feel like im watching an award nominated indie film and not a minecraft production #and the reason i mentioned fortiche specifically is because their ability to make these odd inhuman designs (see: lest steb and babette)#fit right into the mainly realistic human world they inhabit in arcane was just wonderful and i loved it a lot #and i think that would work well with these wacky mcyt skins. like princezam is literally a yellow blob #anyway so those were all my little notes about how much i love animation . onto actually discussing the story #um . i really loved ivorys character. everyone else isnt very developed yet (understandable! ive watched 30 minutes of this thing so far)#you can get a grasp of what shes about. i liked the scene with seraptor where she freaks out a bit when asked if she doesnt like #how much he talks. it made me cry a little bit because i have Issues #and her referring to everyone as sir or ma'am and asking permission to do anything as well as always saying that she was staying #in the servant side of the house and all that is very . like just kinda sad. very interesting #i like the melancholic atmosphere everywhere as well as all the wideshots #(and i liked the parts where while following minute(? i think. not well versed in the names of this general crowd im ngl) ivory kept #looking around everywhere. and how she stood somewhere behind him when he was talking to the person at the gate or whatever #i like her!)#it all sets the tone very nicely . i like this series #go watch it maybe #voidcore.txt

Don't kill me but I honestly think Yunaka sounds WAY better in the Japanese version and it has nothing to do with the EN voice actress and EVERYTHING to do with the En localization.
