I think I've said it before but Karen has four older brothers! She's the baby of the family and she doesn't like to mention her brothers because of Ross (the one on our left) cause he's just A Lot.
But she meets Paul at work and they click and become good friends! Best friends! But she says "god you're just like a brother" before the best friend status and never elaborates so when Paul sees them he's like "okay I wouldn't wanna date me either in that case".

This isn’t a dig at those who do cosmetic enchantments, but please explain to me the logic of all these women who clearly have fillers in their face but are this concerned about red 40
#this isn’t an attack on those who do those#I’m just curious about the logic here#the full name for Botox literally has the word toxin#and some types of implant do cause health issues if they leak#if I see one more filler injected face going on about red 40 and plastics#I know some do react to red 40 but most are fine. it’s also not banned it Europe it’s just under a diff name#I say the same about anti vaxers who are fine injecting Botox and other things yet a vaccine is dangerous#most hair dye is also crazy high in formaldehyde#a lot of the weird fear mongering genuinely makes no sense to me#like being against all sugar unless it’s cane sugar or honey - as if it’s not still sugar#I know they don’t connect the dots but it’s just insane the things they will lecture us on

do not try to cut side curtain bangs with office scissors
#i had to salvage it with blunt step bangs#which look not great but at least look on purpose#i would have gone back to ol' reliable normal full bangs#but to get side bangs you need to cut a larger chunk than you would for front bangs#so it would look strange with my fringe wrapping to my ears lol#i don't mind too much#it all grows back and if i really hate it i can just bobby pin it back#i also tried to do a full trim with layers#but ended up cutting like 2+ inches off and the layers DO NOT WORK#what people don't tell you is that those easy cut layers using a ponytail are for when you have like waist length hair#if your hair is at shoulders or shorter the layers don't work properly#i have always cut my own hair including crazy styles and dyeing and even bleaching#i think this is one of the worser jobs i've done#still not a total hack job but not great#issue is my hair is so fine fragile and temperamental

Deacon willing to help people but doesn't recognize people so he doesn't remember what he did for who. So he just agrees and is like cool don't mention it then they mention it and he's like uhhhhhh.
However, that's other humans. He can identify the deities much easier because they have a unique glow. Like can actively tell Ymber "oh Lady Fulj just entered the city" and Ymber is like how the heck did you sense her that far away when I can't sense her that far away. It actually takes a while for Ymber to realize Deacon really doesn't know any of his coworkers and who he's talking to.
#my characters#based on me just not knowing which of my coworkers i helped with what or who asked me for what#so theyd bring something up and im like uh huh#deacon is a good bean who likes to be helpful to people around him#because hes lived a good life thanks to people around him such as#he had loving parents but after his mom died the neighbors helped him and his dad#then when his dad passed away and his neighbors would invite him over to make sure he wasnt lonely#and he appreciates those people but he doesnt recognize most of his coworkers#he can identify the neighbors based on oh the guy nearby has a hunched back and i help him with carrying stuff#so he notices those traits from people hes been near for a long time but then is baffled over coworkers#if someone changes a hair style that is a brand new person#based on holy crap my coworkers used to change their hair all the time i never knew who was who#dyed hair or getting a trim and dye or simply wearing it up one day but not the next#i have no idea who i worked with and it was v awkward for me but people were always nice#how has it been a week of pain im gonna go offline and suffer breathing pains

Apparently I can meet my goal of roughly 400,000 words in 6 months if I just somehow write at least 2,200 words a day ghbjh... Almost 2,500 today... huzzah...
#Definitely not going to be able to stick with it just due to like... being realistic about my energy levels and etc. ESPECIALLY as we#enter the Evil Summer and it becomes hot all the time. But... one can attempt.. at least...#I'm also a very slow writer since I tend to re-read and edit while I write. and only move onto the next section once what I'm writing#seems okay. Which is easy for visual novel type stuff. since ''sections'' of a conversation are more clearly marked (like if you#have a menu option with 5 different dialogue choices. finish the character's response for choice 1 before moving onto 2. etc.)#Especially since when I'm done with a whole quest I always follow it up by playing through it and picking every option and making sure it#actually all works okay and etc. So I am already going to see it all a second time. Then I can go back and reorder a few words or remove#certain sentences that don't sound natural when I read them out loud (I always read it all outloud to myself since it is... just peple#talking.. it should sound like natural dialogue in their voice. etc). But my ''first draft'' is kind of not as first drafty since I pause t#edit a lot as I go along. So it also takes longer probably than it would take other people who I think treat a first draft as more#of a loose guideline or something. AANYWAY...#80F in my bedroom right now again... huzzah... I did end up finishing and recording that sims build video before the heat wave (or is#it really a heat wave if it's just summer..?? lol) came in.. but now... augh.. the editing... plus the costume photos and all else... Much#to do as always.. Often such a long todo list.. a giant scroll hung upon the walls of the evil hermit wizard tower..#Anyhow.. I hope I can finish getting ready for bed early in time to reward myself with a game of tripeaks solitaire whilst I snack on#cheddar cheese and some of those preserved artichokes in a jar. hrgm... I actually have nasturtiums (ultimate best flower) on the#deck again this year but I had to move them all into a corner today because the leaves were getting burnt by the sun lol.. NOT bc of spoilers (I actually love spoilers/literally never play#any game until there's full guides on it I can read to plan my entire playthrough based on knowing exactly what I want to happen lol + mods#and etc.) but just because I'm so busy with my ownprojects I simply do not have the brainspace to dedicate... Yes I love to think#about elves and fictional universe lore. but no.. I pretend I do not see it. Does not exist to me actually. ghgj.. OHH also took som#cool pictures of flowers in the garden section of a store and I wanted to do like.. character designs based on the colors of the flowers o#something. but that might just be another unnecessary project to add to the pile.. I want to commit to the daunting task of dyeing my#hair again some time.. hrm.. this is all of the updates I can think of.
