going to Divulge a ton Of worldbuilding thats REAAALLYYY unimportant Outside of maybe like A few lines of Eventual dialogue
gonna Put this under A read more tag :3c
SO!!! For context With how a Lot of this works, it's All based on how They work in Minecraft (with A few exceptions) :) Rarity, usages, and Some properties are retained but Because this is Basically a "Minecraft but It Got Real" pirate Au, things Are altered :)
Redstone is the Most widely used power source And conduit for Machinery, and based On how easy it is To collect in base game, its Very very common. But it requires a ton Of extra machinery to Work properly, so its One of those super-common-But-only-like-8-people-know-How-to-use-it-To-its-full-potential Kinda thing. i Have a few more property notes thats Just some silly world building, like How redstone glows Extremely bright And burns when in Use, and that The powder is Soft and stains easily :)
Lapis is just as Common but has Waaay more uses, such as Potions, drinks, medicine, Enchantments, and Occasionally machinery (Depending on Size and what The machine is used For. its Mostly automatons that Use lapis). it Has the same textural properties As redstone, but lapis Is cold to the touch And doesnt glow as Much. It's a decent conduit for More magical things (redstone isnt Magical, it just Has a lot of charge. very Reactive :)!!)(Glowstone is, in fact, Vaguely magic)
Glowstone!! A brittle rock From the Nether that breaks off In flecks :)!! its Used in lights, potions, and Machinery despite it being Slightly harder to obtain (Especially with How pricey most Hunters are..)(hunters Being people who Collect ingredients for A living). it Requires a conduit and Lapis in order to be Used in most machines, so Theyre usually reserved for Automatons
Amethyst!!!!! Very rare (I CAN NEVER FIND A GEODE IN MINECRAFT SO ITS RARE.) and used for Glass products (specifically Glasses, goggles, Spyglasses, etc etc) and Sometimes machinery (Mostly for Machines that use lapis and Glowstone because Of their need for A proper conduit). Amethyst is a Very pricey material So its really rare to see just Everyone with some form Of amethyst product (Aside from glasses, theyre Mixed with normal Glass so theyre a Lot cheaper)
skulk is Also used in some machines But thats like. you gotta have a Toooon of Coin in order To get skulk sensors And conduits. so The royal navy has Skulk in their Ships :)
uhmmm Thats it for The silly little Machine materials :)
then Potions but i Need to figure them Out a ton more... for The most part Theyre made in The same way :)!
the One potion alteration i DO have figured out is Coral being used in Water breathing potions Instead of pufferfish
splash Potions depend On the type of Bottle used to store The potion instead Of the Potion materials
potion Length and Strength is based On lapis and glowstone Instead of redstone And glowstone

Entry 1.5.2-1 - Security System
Welcome to my blog. I’m not tagging anything but entry #, so sorry if my unrelated mess somehow ends up in your search.
I actually spent a bit longer in 1.4 before downloading the next update, so have these screenshots <3
Tumblr media
church got demo'd because of the road, kinda sad since I wanted me first ever cake to stay on the world forever, but I'll make the cake my trophy for all advancements, that'll be my new PermaCake™
I also wanted to put my wool to use and flex a little bit
(also oh my god can we talk about the iron golem holding a rose? i miss this so much)
Tumblr media
This is Baby Boy, my pokemon Go Best Buddy <3 I think he should be allowed to go ham in origin form even if Go disagrees. Eventually I want to remake it entirely out of like. obsidian and diamond blocks instead of the wool but for now I'll consider this my "wool" creation. I've added goals to construct statues of different materials of different pokemon that I love and possess/would like to possess. Added to my goals list.
Tumblr media
Okay, now that I'm actually in 1.5, let me go to the nether to get some quartz, I haven't explored any farther than the two fortresses (i think it actually could be three) next to my portal so hopefully I won't have to go far.
Also, cool. my achievements reset again. Hopefully my advancements don't do that later on.
i'm turning on peaceful because its My World and i dont want to Stress.
Tumblr media
had to use up a couple of stacks of blocks to cross a lava lake but i think i spy some newly generated chunks
I think I'll just grab a handful and head back.
Tumblr media
Every gate that can have this does (so all but the southern one, which is open to water)
Tumblr media
The maps are being weird but here's old
Tumblr media
vs new, ft this guy
Most of my development has been within and around the walls, but I will eventually do more on those two southern maps.
Tumblr media
Now that the gates are done (I didn't expect it to be difficult, this is just a redstone update) the real hard part is trying to minimize as many spawning locations as possible. It'll be like 10 updates until it takes LOW darkness to spawn hostile mobs, so I think I'll be fighting this for a while.
I'm going to limit it to a couple of layers of torches (in ground/camo'd) around the wall and farm, just far enough to keep them away from any villagers.
Tumblr media
I think I've fully illuminated the area inside and around the village (maybe I should actually name this place, maybe that's a task for next update)
Tumblr media
I've been bone mealing around the ground as well to conceal the light better.
Tumblr media
I also have this little bridge area behind my garden heading toward the desert now.
Onward to 1.6!
The easiest goal will be to get one of each color block of terracotta, but I'm not going to a mesa biome for it. I'll just cook clay for it and dye to get some chests set up. In 1.8 I plan on making a statue with my colors, but I'll need time (and perhaps 1.8's duplication glitch) to get enough resources.
My harder goal will be to get two donkeys and two horses. I'll be constructing a stable for them, and there will also be space for llamas, though those won't be added yet.
next (1.6.4-1)

(Platonic techno x Piglin Hybrid Reader)
Imagine a 7-8 y/o piglin hybrid finds techno's nether portal and out of pure childhood curiosity decides to go through it and ends up in the snow biome. They almost immediately get frostbite and pass out due to living in the nether and usually being warm. Eventually techno finds the child by his nether portal and look's around to see no parents so assumes they are an orphan he goes to pull out his orphan obliterater but the voices get louder telling him to take them home and protect them eventually gives in wraps his cape around them and brings them home to warm them up
(Feel free to ignore if it makes you uncomfortable)
-Anon :)
Kin - Piglin!Child!Reader and Technoblade
GN
Pairings: none
Characters included: Technoblade, (mentioned) Philza
Warnings: n/a
Series: a request :]
Summary: Y/N was just too curious! This weird black frame with the purple light was surely not there before! Maybe they should look at it a bit further. The light just looked too inviting!
Words count: 3023
Authors Note: My first Techno fic! YO! I really love him alot! He is one of my favorite CCs and also favorite Character in the dsmp :) Wish I found a better way to cut this one off but I had so much fun writing this!
Y/N’s little Piglin hands slowly traveled up the rough Netherrack that they were hiding behind. Grabbing the edge of the rock as their head followed along, their eyes peaking over cautiously.
There was this weird black frame with what looked like a purple pool inside of it. It emitted a rumbling but kind of musical sound that seemed to call out to Y/N. In fact, they only found this weird portal only due to the sounds. Never in their young life have they heard anything like it.
They have only seen something like this here and there whenever their clan moved on from a region but usually those seemed to be broken. The frame only half finished without a light coming out of it. Elders and the adults would always remind them to stay far away from it since apparently it could be dangerous, but Y/n couldn’t understand how.
It just stood there playing its music that seemed to almost call out to the Piglin. Wanting it to get closer and listen to its magical melody.
How could be something so beautiful be considered dangerous?
Taking another look around, Y/N made sure they were alone. Secretly having run off to follow this sound they managed to pick up on. It’s not like their parents would look for them on account that their parents were already dead.
Now the Elders took care of them, but they were usually too busy with clan business to realize when they ran off on their own adventures.
Once again checking that there were no Ghasts or other dangerous mobs around Y/N climbed over the rock. Landing on what looked like a pathway that led to the black frame.
Closer to the structure Y/N took the time to get a good look at the rock that has been used for the frame. It was a deep black and yet it somehow seemed to have a purple shine. If it came from the vortex between or the rock itself Y/N couldn’t tell, nor did they care enough to figure that out. Too amazed by it.
The sound was now really loud, and Y/N could tell that it came definitely from the purple light. It seemed to swirl in of itself almost like liquid and yet it stayed in the air as if it were glass put between the stone.
Mesmerized by it the child slowly put their hand into the light, trying to figure out what the material was.
But the only thing they felt was how cold it felt and it seemingly pulling on them. Trying to pull them deeper in. Scared Y/N immediately pulled their arm away, holding it close to their chest. Warming the cold limb up with their own body and the temperature of the Nether.
They have never felt anything like this. It was interesting. They knew what cold was but never like this. Only having felt an occasional breeze from jumping around or running around and even then, it was nothing compared to what they just felt.
Was this vortex doing this? Was this the purpose? Is this the dangerous part? How?
Y/N was already so incredible curious, but this really spiked their curiosity. What would happen if they just stood in there?
With this question in mind the kid placed one foot in the frame, soon followed by the next. The vortex completely engulfing them. Purple being the only thing they were able to see. This cold feeling immediately hitting them like a brick wall.
With a surprised grunt with how huge the temperature difference was, the child jumped away, hoping to get back to the familiar warmth but as they did the cold didn’t disappear.
The portal was still there but suddenly there was this bright light all around them. White as far as they could see.
Now panicking the child desperately looked around but their body was still dealing with the sudden temperature drop.
The world spinning around making it difficult for them to get a good look at where they were. Darkness crept in at the edges of their vision which they desperately tried to fight against.
Without realizing Y/N crashed onto the white ground which seemed to be even colder than the air around. Sneaking into the thin clothing and prickling at the skin. Their heart beating incredible fast and, in their ears, and yet they suddenly felt so tired.
The coldness that was so uncomfortable before suddenly turning more comfortable. Their breathing calming down as their eyes fell shut. Submerging themself into the world of darkness.
Luckily for Y/N, Technoblade was on his way towards the Netherportal himself. He managed to run out of Blaze Rods and needed to gather more for his potions only to spot something or rather someone lying face down in the snow.
At first, he assumed that for some reason Tommy managed to knock himself out while wandering over for whatever reason but the closer he got the more he noticed that, no, the body was way too small for that.
Also, he was pretty sure the last time he checked Tommy didn’t sport similar pig ears like Techno.
The voices in his head were pretty calm until they realized “Kin? Our kin? Out here? Our or his kin? Is it our kin as well?”
Techno approached the small body. This child was shaking and wet due to the snow. The clothes soaked. How the hell did that child just survive the travel to the Overworld like that? It was more likely that Piglin’s die during that process and end up as just a husk. A zombie if you will.
Not a lot of Piglin are strong enough to survive this magic. Techno should know he almost died when he traveled over and only survived because he had Philza on his side who helped him through it.
Impressive and yet he didn’t particular care.
“Parents? Orphan? Are they an orphan? Oh! Blood for the Blood God? No! Look at them! They are already dying! They must be something special surviving the portal like that! Are they though? Aren’t they dying? More because of the cold than anything! What about their parents?”
Grumbling Techno stepped into the portal himself, ending up in the warm nether. Hoping to still the curiosity of the voices a tiny bit with this. A sense of nostalgia spreading throughout his body and senses as he looked around the red landscape.
The child’s parents have to be around somewhere. Rule number one in the nether for Piglins was to stay together no matter what. It was dangerous in the Nether and the relationship between blood kin was precious. They must be already around here. Picking up on the child’s scent to find them.
And yet. Nothing.
No Piglin, no anyone.
He wandered a bit in, but he didn’t even spot any close group of Piglin’s running around. Weird. Was that child really alone?
“Check on them! Techno! Check on the child! See if they are still there!” the voices yelled out, infuriating the warrior a bit.
“Alright, alright!” he gave in and once again stepped into the portal. The cold hitting him but at this point he was used to this and managed to reacclimatize himself pretty fast. Not immediately and it still took a few minutes, but he didn’t almost pass out every time.
No surprise there. The child was still laying in the snow.
Once again, the voices flared up in his mind. A few demanding blood while others still expressed their curiosity towards this orphan.
Too busy with his own plans and things to do Technoblade took out his sword aptly called “The Orphan Obliterator”. He just wanted to deal with this situation as fast as he could, so he could move on.
Moving the sword up in the air only for the voices in his head to suddenly erupt loudly.
“No! Stop! Do not! Don’t kill! No! Techno! Please!”
This was very much not like their usual behavior. Usually, they would welcome any chance for bloodshed. Calling for it even in situation where it was just inconvenient and unnecessary but now, they don’t want it? Okay, maybe he should listen in to the voices after all.
“What is going on, Chat?” he asked.
And the voices, even if loudly and talking over each other, answered “Save them! Take them with you! They are special! Protect them! They are your kin if you give them the chance! We are sure! A young child able to survive this? Sounds similar to you Techno! Take them with you! Save them! Please! They deserve the chance!”
The problem with Chat was, they sometimes knew more about the world than Techno and it has paid out listening to them, but they also liked to just follow their whim for fun. Though this seemed to be the former. They realized that the child was special and worth saving, even if only in their ,sometimes omnipotent, eyes.
Sighing Technoblade sheathed his netherite sword and pulled off his red cape.
Realizing what Techno was doing, Chat begun cheering. The voices that had demanded blood before now fully drowned out.
Technoblade knelt down and carefully heaved the piglin onto the cape, wrapping it around them. Their body was unsurprisingly incredibly cold. So cold that Techno worried they didn’t have a lot of time left. Well, worry was a strong word perhaps.
Holding the kid close to his chest he got a good look at their face. Their expression scrunched up in what he assumed to be pain. A few light scars on their face. It wasn’t unusual that Piglins sported a few scars but not that young. The parents were usually too protective over their young.
“Must be a real troublemaker, I bet.” He noted.
Scars already at that age and them running through a portal just like that? Yeah, that child must cross the line between brave and stupid a lot. Not that he could fault them. He wasn’t that much different as a child himself, though he would never admit it out loud.
“They are kinda cute! It’s a child. Children do that. What do we do with them? Save them first. Talk to them. Figure out if they have potential! Kin? Kin! We need to talk to Philza. Dadza! Grandza! Oh! Yes! Grandza!”
Techno shook his head, as if that would make the voices shut up “Chat, please. Don’t assume anything. I might just help them out and find a clan for them to get back to. We don’t have the time for a child to be around. Too busy with the Syndicate.”
While Chat wasn’t happy with it, they seemed to be glad enough that Techno was acting against his instincts to help this orphan out. If the others hear that the Technoblade has helped out an orphan, well, he hoped people won’t. Doesn’t want to be seen as a hypocrite and as someone who keeps his words, and threats.
With the kid in his arms, he made his way back towards his cabin. Apparently, the Blaze Rods had to wait after all.
As he walked up the stairs towards his cabin and walked in, he suddenly got very aware he had no idea what to do. Looking around his eyes fell on his fireplace but that somehow seemed dangerous. Probably bad idea to just lay down an unconscious child right next to the fire, right?
Instead, he remembered that he had a spare bed roll sitting around somewhere.
With the cape still wrapped around the little one he pulled out the bed roll and laid them inside the rolled-out bed. While tucking them in he made sure to let a bit breathing room in. Letting their body slowly warm up instead of instantly.
“Food. Food, Techno. Eat. The child as well!”
Ah, yes. What would he do without the voices reminding him to eat?
Normally he would just pop a potato in the furnace but not this time. If he is already cooking, he might as well cook for the both of them. Soup seemed appropriate. Now, if he only remembers the recipe and instructions Philza gave him way back.
Still a tiny bit annoyed he has to put off getting the Blaze Rods, Techno sat down and begun cutting up vegetables and heating up water. Putting the ingredients into the water and putting spice in after tasting it here and there. It definitely wouldn’t be a masterpiece but as long as it not tasted absolutely horrible and still warmed one up from the inside, this should be fine.
The child better not complain after he already went out of his way saving them from the cold. He really should have just killed them so he wouldn’t need to get through this trouble and could actually get work done but Chat really was acting weird.
The cooking process took longer than he expected. Long enough that his own pig ears suddenly heard some noises, groans, coming from behind him. Looking back, he saw how the small Piglin was moving around in the bed. Slowly sitting up. Their eyes still closed.
“You are awake.” He stated in Piglish. Knowing, that they probably couldn’t speak the common tongue of the Overworld.
They opened their eyes but were still squinting. Either in pain or not used to the light yet.
“Where am I? Who are you?” grunts coming out of their mouth that made up Piglish words.
For a second Techno had to hide his smile as he realized that it has been a long while that he spoke with anybody his native tongue.
“You are in the Overworld. In my home to be specific. You are lucky I found you or you would have frozen to death in the snow. Name’s Technoblade by the way.”
It seemed to be difficult for them to wrap their mind around this new information “Overworld? Technoblade?” they repeated as if this would give them more insight.
Not knowing what else to tell them, Techno turned around and begun pouring the soup into a bowl. Walking over to them to give it to them.
A bit wary the child pulled their arms out of the cape that was still wrapped around them. The white fluff tickling the back of their head. It seemed to be an old cape. The fluffy part not being as fluffy as you would have assumed anymore. The fur dirty and strands glued together. Things that just happened over time even if you washed it quite often.
“My, uh, my name is Y/N.” they spoke, grabbing the bowl and looking inside it.
“I’m not poisoning you, you can eat it. Warms you up and once you feel good enough you can get back into the Nether.” He then proceeded to pour himself a bowl and begun sipping it.
It was edible. That was something.
Y/N kept watch as Techno continued to slowly drink the soup out of his own bowl. Drinking some of the food as well, their eyes widened out of pleasant surprise when the soup seemed to warm them up from the inside. Craving more of this warmth they begun gulping the liquid down in seconds.
This place was certainly warmer then when they got out of the portal but it was still cold enough for them to shiver. Where in the world were they? Never have they seen any of these materials around them. Grey cold stone, dark brown wood, white walls decorated with colorful pictures? It seemed almost unreal to them.
“How are you feeling squirt? Good enough to go home yet?” There was a bit of hope in Techno’s voice. The sooner this passed the better in his book.
“Home.” Y/N once again repeated what Techno said only to hold the bowl up towards him. A shy but determined expression on their face.
It took Techno a second before he understood what they wanted “More? More soup?”
The child enthusiastically nodded.
Sighing Techno got up from the chest he was sitting on to refill Y/N’s bowl and as he pushed the warm bowl back into their hand Y/N opened their mouth again “Uh, Overworld? I am in the Overworld? What- What is that?”
“A different world to where you come from. It has hot places and cold places. Different things and different mobs as well. Very different but both places are connected. You came through one of the portals that lead to this place, it also leads back to the Nether. Now, tell me something. I haven’t seen your parents. I was looking for anyone but there was no one. Not even a random group walking around.”
Y/N first slurped more from the soup before they answered “My parents are gone. I live with my clan. I always run off and they get mad at me.”
Techno knelt down to Y/N and softly pressed his hand against their forehead which made Y/N freeze. Scared and confused with what he was doing.
He let out a deep breath, wincing as a few voices begun yelling inside his mind “Ah. Seems like you have a fever. Guess I could help you through it and in the meanwhile try to find your clan. Might as well show you a bit of the Overworld while we are at it. Not a lot of Piglin get the chance to see the Overworld after all. You certainly are a special case.”
Then he turned around and talked to the air “Happy now Chat?” Turning back around to face Y/N again “Are you okay with that, Y/N?”
It was still difficult for them to grasp the whole of the situation but to get the chance to explore this Overworld? With this Technoblade Piglin? Their curiosity was certainly piqued. Maybe they were still too tired, and their head was pounding but there was this little voice in their head that urged them on.
That told them “Go for it. You will learn a lot! He might be your true kin.”
So, they nodded silently agreeing in Piglish “Yes. I think I am okay with it.”

Dream SMP Recap (May 18/2021) - The L’Sandburg Deal

- George starts walking to the prison. Tommy tells him in chat to turn around as he asks why the prison is so big to contain only one person
- Tommy says George told him he wanted to do this today, asking if he still wants to
- George starts following Tommy down the Prime Path and Tommy tells him to take the blood from the path. He says this is real, not a time for primes
- Tommy tells him they need to go get the Nightmare armor from Tubbo and asks how George is feeling. George isn’t feeling well
- Then he tells George no armor, then tells Tubbo to prepare the battle stations
- They run to Snowchester, Tommy says “nukes” in chat
- Tubbo is standing there holding a rosebush. George asks why he’s holding them, but Tommy says there’s no time as Tubbo leads them to the Snowchester vault with Dream’s armor. George takes it
- George looks at the camera and says it’s time to go and kill Dream
- Suddenly, Tommy joins VC and pulls down the green screen to reveal that this wasn’t a lore stream but a meetup, and Jack, Tubbo and Niki are also all there!
The stream immediately ends.
- Later, Sapnap and Karl hang out with Drista for a bit
- Bad hangs out with Sapnap and Karl (in VC) in L’Sandburg. Sam comes over and accuses Bad of smacking his butt
- Bad and Karl talk some more before Karl eventually leaves the call and Foolish arrives in L’Sandburg. It’s time to do some lore to decide the fate of L’Sandburg!
- Foolish orders Bad to tear down the walls and Bad says he wants to sell L’Sandburg to Foolish. Soon, though, Sam comes over to interrupt. As the warden, Sam is here to oversee the conflict.
- Foolish tells Sam to put Bad in prison for taking his land, but Sam reminds Foolish that Bad is one of the guards. He was just coming over to tell Bad he’s on duty tonight
- Bad shows Sam L’Sandburg, and Sam likes it. Karl interrupts in VC. Bad explains to Sam the extent of L’Sandburg’s territory and Corpse Husband joins the call to apologize that he can’t make the lore stream
- Foolish tells Sam he built the obsidian walls to restrict their expansion, but Sam says by doing so, Foolish sanctified L’Sandburg’s status as a separate territory, and Sam is the keeper of law on the server. He believes that L’Sandburg is independent
- They push Foolish out of L’Sandburg territory and Bad explains to Sam and Foolish that he wants to sell the toll gate but keep the L’Sandburg tower
- Foolish offers a stack of leather and a stack of bamboo, but Bad doesn’t accept the offer. Sam considers buying it -- he’s making a bank and needs a steady form of income for it
- Sam offers Bad seven diamond blocks. After much bargaining, Foolish offers seven diamond blocks and steak. Sam offers steak for free, then Foolish increases to eight blocks, then ten.
- Sam backs down, and Bad asks Foolish what he would do if he bought L’Sandburg. Foolish would tear it down
- Sam would have to enforce the tollgate, but he says he can divvy up his time between the prison and watching L’Sandburg. Bad would rather take Sam’s offer, and Sam says he wants to make it much bigger -- all the way to block limit
- Foolish protests. Bad asks Foolish to reimburse him materials and they accuse Foolish of vandalizing signs.
- Bad says he’d be willing to accept Foolish’s offer of ten blocks if Bad owns the tower. Foolish says the tower belongs to Foolish and not Bad, and Bad disagrees and rejects the offer. Sam says the toll will be a diamond block now
- Foolish walks around the wall and Sam attacks him, saying he bypassed the toll
- Bad makes his offer again. If he owns the tower, he would get all vertical space included in the chunk, and he wants nothing less than full ownership
- Sam positions himself as a neutral third party. Foolish shows Sam the books. If Bad owns the tower, he would put a toll on the chunk of land
- Bad is concerned that since Foolish would own the land outside his tower, Foolish might box him in. Foolish agrees that he wouldn’t disrupt Bad’s line of sight from the tower and Bad gets a buffer zone
- They agree on the deal and Bad gets the ten diamond blocks, Bad confirming L’Sandburg is a country. Bad gives Sam his “cut” of five diamond blocks
- Foolish asks what Bad means, his “cut.” Sam was supposed to be a third party! Sam says good day and leaves Bad and Foolish to start taking down the walls, Foolish unhappy
- Sam whispers to Bad:
DON’T BACK DOWN ON THIS YOU WANTED TO DO IT. REMEMBER QUACKITY SAID THIS WAS A GOOD THING FOR BUSINESS.
- Bad agrees with Sam and continues to work. He’s pleased. Every nation has to start somewhere, and he now has what he wanted the most: acknowledgement as a sovereign entity
- Bad wants there to be no hard feelings, so he gives Foolish the five remaining diamond blocks he has as payment and apologizes for everything. He explains that on that one day, when he was standing on that one spot...he realized he just really wanted it
- The problem, he goes on, is that you can’t just “pick up a spot” and carry it to “a chest in a secret location.” Now he has it!
- Foolish asks what happens when somebody else decides that they too can claim it. Bad says when that day comes, they can fight together as neighbors! L’Sandburg is like an embassy
Foolish: “Wait wait wait a second -- am I talking to former Eggboyhalo or is this a slightly different Badboyhalo?”
Bad: “No, this is past the Egg arc.”
- Just then, Bad gets a message from Skeppy. He’s confused that Skeppy is messaging him that Foolish took him prisoner and won’t release him until he gives up L’Sandburg. Bad demands Foolish explain, and Foolish lets slip that there was a plan to kidnap Skeppy
- Foolish tries to explain that it was just backup in case Bad had an evil plan up his sleeve. Bad shouts at Foolish, asking where Skeppy is
Foolish: “I should tell you something...Skeppy said he was getting tired of living with you.”
Bad: “...”
Foolish: “He said he needed a break, so I was gonna offer him a vacation.”
Bad: “...You take that back.”
- Until Foolish returns Skeppy to Bad, Bad declares war. Foolish doesn’t know where Skeppy is, as it was an unmarked location. Bad is horrified and immediately goes searching all over for him
- Foolish reminds Bad that Bad tried to kidnap Finley, but Bad says he gave Finley back safe and sound
- Bad gets another message from Skeppy saying he’s cold and hungry. Foolish says it’s just a prank, and he has Tall Mama instead. Bad goes to leave
- Foolish asks if they’ll still be able to be friendly neighbors
Bad: “I hope so, Foolish...”
- As a token of friendship, Foolish hands Bad the decorative button from the now-torn-down L’Sandburg tollgate
- Bad heads back through the Nether, looking down from the bridge into the lava and calling for Skeppy. He walks down the Prime Path, saying he was sorry for going off and making L’Sandburg
Bad: “I know things didn’t go the best with the whole Egg thing, but come on...”
- He makes it to the mansion and sees the poster of the shark with its butt out. It’s the ransom note
- He searches through the mansion. L’Sandburg was supposed to be a place where he and Skeppy could hang out together...
He keeps calling for Skeppy but there’s no answer, and the screen cuts to black.
---
Afterwards, Bad does a brief lore QnA:
- L’Sandburg canonically takes place after the final Egg stream, which Bad says is going to have “a doozy of an ending,” and he “doesn’t want to make you guys too sad.”
- All the L’Sandburg lore was on the fly. Nothing (except for Skeppy getting kidnapped) was planned, it’s all unscripted and fun
- People will either love or hate the next Egg lore stream. It’s going to be crazy
- There is one more stream that will wrap up the Egg lore and “set everything in motion.”
- He says you do not want to miss it. Bad will announce the date before it’s time
- A dono asks, if the Egg lore is setting stuff up, is it taking a break and coming back later?
“Coming back later? You’ll see. It’s gonna be interesting. You’ll see.”
---
Upcoming Events:
- The final Egg lore stream
- Foolish’s date
- Quackity’s business opening
- Quackity’s next lore stream
- Tales From the SMP: “Space Race”
- Ponk’s lore stream

(Hermit Canyon AU)
Eventually, the Hermit seems to get attached to Puffy. It makes sense- it's been trading gifts with her for months now, and has even shown itself to her a few times, albeit while invisible.
The other SMPers don't think much of it at first. The more curious members ask Puffy questions about The Hermit sometimes, but she knows little, so they quickly give up. Occasionally someone will try to explore the ridiculously trapped town, but they give up once it's obvious they're not getting in.
The trades grow more and more valuable, and one day Puffy opens her barrel to find a beacon, and enough iron to fully power it. She's stunned, naturally. To think the Hermit is so capable it can kill a Wither just to give a beacon away- she can barely believe it.
(In actuality, they cheesed it on the Nether roof, but she doesn't know that)
She does try to hide it, but word gets around, and after another few failed raids on the town (and some rumours that the Hermit can teleport), things settle down again, as much as they can on the SMP.
Then someone steals Puffy's beacon. {You decide who, because I. don't actually watch DSMP, admittedly.}
Puffy, naturally, is devestated- she can't imagine the work the Hermit put into getting it for her in the first place (the most time-consuming thing was getting the Wither skulls, and it wasn't even that bad). But there's not really much she can do, so she carries on.
Except, the next day, the thief wakes up to find their house full of chickens, Puffy's beacon missing, and every single empty space in their chests filled with strategically renamed light grey stained glass panes.
They go outside to find the entire contents of a cave spider spawner on their front lawn. Alongside a ravager. With speed potions. Renamed Pamela's Revenge.
(Cue half the SMP trying to find out who Pamela is)
Puffy, meanwhile, wakes to find her beacon back in its rightful place, and a beautifully terraformed garden outside her house (Scar accidentally detonated a creeper and naturally had to fix the hole...and then went a little overboard. But it's fine.)
op i want you to know that i considered just posting your ask, because it’s already So Good and practically a fic on its own, but i really wanted even more content so i wrote it myself. ANYWAY here’s sapnap’s terrible horrible no good very bad day xD
It’s risky, doing anything on the wide open Nether roof where anyone can see. Hell, using a beacon at all is risky for the Hermits. Still, they’ve got all sorts of farms and copious amounts of materials at their fingertips. They’re past early game, stuck in mid-game while they wait for Etho to scope out more locations, while they build the second Upside Down (which Grian has named the Upside-ier Down), while they build their joint bases miles out from civilization.
Having a beacon would make the process faster, they reason to themselves. They certainly aren’t risking being discovered just because they’re bored and getting a beacon is an excuse to do something. And hell, Tango made that giant, super-efficient wither skeleton skull farm right next to his double blaze spawner farm, so they might as well mass-produce Nether stars by killing multiple Withers. It’s not that difficult.
On another note, it’s after they gift Puffy one of their many beacons, in addition to a kit of iron blocks for powering the beacon that the Hermits realize that while their gifts are increasing in expense, Puffy’s are... not. So, if Puffy’s around average in the Dream SMP economy, they’ve figured out where most players meet their limit. She hasn’t stopped dropping by, though, which is nice. Her gifts become increasingly handmade, in lieu of upping the ante on material wealth. The Hermits suppose that hand-crafted items have a value that extends past money. Each and every one of them has something that she’s made for them, whether it be a shawl, a blanket, a set of earrings, a bracelet, or a pair of socks.
Apparently the beacon is more of a Big Deal than the Hermits thought. After all, the rainbow castle has several. However, the Hermits realize that they’ve been shortsighted. While it is true that the rainbow castle has several beacons, the castle is the only place that they’ve seen any beacons.
Sapnap steals the beacon. He doesn’t particularly need it, but he wants it, and stealing is fun. Maybe if he’s lucky, he’ll even start another minor war over it. He hasn’t fought Puffy very much. He wonders if she can put up a good fight.
Puffy’s-- not distraught, but she’s upset. That was a gift from the Hermit, a friend who she’s been pulling out of its shell. She doesn’t have much use for a beacon, but then again, neither does Sapnap; he’s just a dick. Just in case, Puffy leaves a note with the rest of the items she leaves in her barrel:
Dear Hermit,
I’m very sorry for losing the beacon you gave me. I made the mistake of keeping it in a normal chest instead of an Ender chest, so Sapnap stole it. I should have seen that coming. I’ll try to get it back, but if I don’t, please know that I didn’t throw it away.
Thank you,
Puffy.
Sapnap wakes up in the middle of a lake. His mattress is floating, and when he tries to paddle back to shore (once he’s done screaming), the mattress tips over and he receives an unpleasant fishy wakeup call. He trudges into his house for a shower, and finds that the showerhead, as well as all his faucets, have been stuffed with ramen noodle seasoning.
He looks in his chests for a bucket of water. The first chest he checks is not only full of light gray glass, but also trapped. When he opens it, pufferfish fall out of the ceiling and bounce around. He dies to their poison twice before they finally die. The next chest he opens also has light gray glass, no water buckets, and a trap. This one, though, only releases a metric fuckton of chickens into his house. It’s fine. This is fine.
As he looks through his chests, he realizes something. They’ve got glass in them, sure, and they’ve been raided of water buckets, but... the beacon is gone. None of his other items, like enchanted netherite tools or literal diamond blocks, have been stolen. Just Puffy’s beacon.
Whoever pranked him missed a bucket, so he promptly dumps it over his head in an effort to smell less like pond scum and spicy chicken noodles. It takes the whole day to get his base back in order: he’s got to clean out all the faucets, empty all the glass from his chests, throw out all the dead pufferfish, and slaughter chickens by the dozens.
He can’t sleep. Are you fucking kidding. He can’t sleep. A soft hiss catches his attention, only audible now that the quiet of night has fallen. Is there somehow an unlit cave under his base?
Nope. As he steps outside onto his front lawn, he sees a daylight detector near the door that he missed when he came inside this morning. The daylight detector seems to have released approximately fifteen bajillion cave spiders onto his lawn, and they’re all angry, so he shuts the front door in their faces and goes back inside. That’s a problem for tomorrow’s him.
Horns spear the wall right next to where Sapnap was standing five seconds ago. He yelps. What the fuck is a ravager doing on his front porch? And why the FUCK does it have speed potion particles?!
<Sapnap was slain by Pamela’s Revenge>
<Sapnap was slain by Pamela’s Revenge>

-------
Puffy sees a whole lot of nonsense in the chat when she wakes up in the morning, and promptly decides to ignore it. She goes about her morning as usual, heading out to her front porch to sip a cup of coffee in peace.
She... has a garden now. Hm. That wasn’t there before. And come to think of it, neither was the beacon she lost.
“Thanks, Hermit,” she says with a smile.
-------
Stress sips a cup of tea, having breakfast in Grian’s rustic sitting room with a few of her fellow Hermits.
“D’ya think we went overboard?” she says.
“...Nah,” Cub says.

“Tommy’s ghost only remembers bad memories.”
Furthermore, Tommy accidentally dies canonically while exiled. Contrary to what we know in canon, Tubbo has not gone to see him at all. Tubbo has basically refused to visit Tommy to accept the fact that he doesn’t need him. This only makes things worse, of course! I haven’t seen anything from Tubbo’s POV after the exile, so if he has said something of the sort, that’s pretty interesting!
---
Tubbo doesn’t know which one of those deaths is real every time he sees Tommyinnit tried to swim in lava or Tommyinnit fell from a high place. It haunts him, not knowing what Tommy is doing, why is he in danger, why is he not taking care of himself? He’s gotten a passing word from Ranboo, Fundy, anyone who has spoken to him, that Tommy is okay, but he needs to see for himself. So he finally goes to pay a visit.
Except he doesn’t see Tommy anywhere near the tent. His gaze follows the path leading past the nether portal, perking up when he spots Logsted hidden within the trees and begins heading over rather slowly. He feels good. For some reason though, there’s a hint of....jealousy? He’s sad? Tommy seems to be doing just fine after the exile...has a decent looking home, a huge body of water, plenty of space to build, access to the nether...he’s doing fine without Tubbo.
Meanwhile for Tommy, and as we’ve seen a little bit in canon, he thinks Tubbo will visit soon! He’ll come eventually, he’s still his friend, he misses him...right? And as days pass, there’s still no sign. Every time someone else comes, he asks if Tubbo has talked about him, if he’s even mentioned his name in conversation, and the more he asks, the more desperate he becomes. In the book him and Ranboo write in, he always asks, trying his best not to sound as desperate as he is, but it’s without fail that it comes up, ‘has Tubbo mentioned me at all? Not that I care about the guy! He exiled me, he’s a bitch hahahaha he can fuck off...but has he said anything?’
But yeah, Tubbo finally works up the courage to visit Tommy, knows he’ll have to see him eventually, and makes his way over to Logsted. He stands in the entrance, surprised to see the familiar yellow sweater of his old leader who has his back turned to Tubbo. He’s busy chatting away as chipper as can be while his voice is light and scratchy as it has been for the past few weeks ever since he died, but its the quiet, “Ghostbur?” that makes him turn around to acknowledge the boy’s presence. Wilbur’s face lights up and he moves forward to greet Tubbo, but it’s difficult to focus on the ghost’s cheerful attitude when all Tubbo can look at is the pale skin, the white, lifeless eyes, and the messy blonde hair that seems to have lost some of its color. He takes a step back, unsettled by the way Tommy’s expressionless face stares back at him. He’s...is he...he can’t be...?
Wilbur slips back into view because he’s clearly been talking this whole time and Tubbo hasn’t been listening! How rude :(  but it’s okay because- oh! he’s looking at Tommy!
“Yeah, Tommy’s been like that for a while now, but he doesn’t talk much which is weird, right, Tubbo? Tommy always has something to say, but I guess it’s nice getting some peace and quiet every once in a while.” And Tubbo can only focus on the ‘been like that for a while’ part because what? He’s been what?? Tommy is still staring at him with no recognition in his face, nor does he give a sign that he’s glad to see his best friend after so long. It hurts.
Tubbo feels Wilbur practically hanging off of his shoulder and hears him whisper, “He doesn’t smile as much as he used to. Even when I play the discs, he always looks so sad. Nothing really cheers him up anymore. And Tommy loved the discs, I remember that. I tried asking him why he was so sad because I know I don’t like feeling sad since it doesn’t feel very good, and he just shrugs every time.” Tubbo doesn’t feel good himself.
Wilbur continues to ramble on about how the things that usually make Tommy happy haven’t been working as Tubbo reaches into his pocket, pulling out the compass. Wilbur stops when he sees it and brightens, “Hey, I gave you that! You still have it on you- see Tommy, I told you he carries it wherever he goes!” And surprisingly enough, there’s a flicker of something in Tommy’s eyes that makes Tubbo hold his breath. Something like ‘that’s familiar...tubbo has one?’ Tommy looks around, confusion evident on his face. ‘i have one too, right?’ It’s been a while since he’s touched it. He stored it away out of fear he would lose it after falling into lava so much. And as he begins to move towards the barrels, Wilbur watches him in fascination, kind of like how someone watches their dog look for a hidden treat because Tommy is finally remembering something! This is good! Tommy sifts through the barrels, taking his time to go through each one until he searches through a particularly full barrel and pulls out the compass from the bottom. Hidden beneath unused materials and more of the like. Things that they weren’t going to use anymore...there was no point. Tommy just stays in Logsted all day. But he fishes it out, turns around and walks over to Tubbo and holds it out next to the other compass that Tubbo has hovering in front of him.
Tubbo’s been too...shocked? Too nervous to say anything this whole time, but he stares at the compasses and looks up at Tommy who’s watching the little red needle quite intensely. He speaks up, feeling his throat tighten as he attempts to get the word out, “Tommy?”
Tommy doesn’t look at him, doesn’t do anything to reassure Tubbo that he’s heard him, just brings his other hand up to grab the underside of Tubbo’s hand and brings their compasses closer to where they touch and there’s a little clink. His brows are furrowed as he thinks, “Your....Tubbo.” Ah, he hasn’t forgotten about him! He might be a ghost, but he stills remembers who his best friend is.
Tubbo nods, “Yeah...yeah, I’m Tubbo.” And Tommy shakes his head, a frustrated noise coming out of him. “Your Tubbo,” and pushes his own compass forward. Tubbo blinks and it sort of registers. “Oh, oh yeah,” and he pushes his compass forward as well, mimicking Tommy, “Y-Your Tommy.”
Tommy nods but still looks a bit confused, irritated, not really satisfied with the “answer” he’s been given. Tubbo stares at him, watching his face sit on the same sad, lost expression. He grabs Tommy’s hand as well, the one with the compass, and brings their hands up. “Do you remember? Remember me?”
Tommy finally looks at him, causing Tubbo to wince at the way those lifeless eyes stare right through his body. He holds Tommy’s gaze though, forcing himself to choke back the tears that dare to escape and gives his friend a smile. “You remember Tubbo, yeah? I’m your best friend, Tommy.” Tommy stares at him before plainly stating, “Yeah, you exiled me.” Tubbo’s smile drops, and his grip on Tommy’s hands loosens. “I- I didn’t- Tommy, I didn’t mean to, Dream wanted-“
Tommy’s expression shifts to something angrier, annoyed, and still a bit confused. “Dream wanted? Why are we listening to Dream? Dream hates me, why would you listen to him? Who cares what he wants.”
Tubbo averts his gaze, shaking his head. “No, I’m not listening to- Tommy, I didn’t want to exile you, but he-“ and Tommy cuts him off again, getting louder. “He what?! What about him, Tubbo? Why are you listening to him? He tried to kill us, he started a war, he hurt our friends, Tubbo, he built walls around L’manberg! And you’re still listening to him? Tubbo, he—he came over here and kept taking my things! Forced me to give up everything I had! Everyday, it was the same thing and he blew them up right in front of me! Threatened to kill me if I didn’t listen, Tubbo!”
And as quickly as the anger appeared, it vanished. His expression falls and his voice grows weak. “You exiled me...and he kept coming back to shove it in my face.”
Ah, but there’s still some resentment left. “He kept- he’s a bitch, Tubbo, that’s what he is. I hate him and I wanna kill him and you should stop listening to him because you’re...” and he trails off, eyes softening and mouth closing into a thin line. Tommy physically deflates and sighs. “You said you’re my best friend, Tubbo.” Tubbo nods and hears his voice break, “I am, Tommy.”
“Then why am I so mad at you. I don’t feel happy at all to see you.” Tubbo wants to cry and laugh at the same time because the words hurt, but Tommy looks like he’s just pouting at this point. Even as a ghost, he’s pouting. “...Tommy, are you mad at me or mad that you aren’t happy to see me?” Tommy takes a second and chews on his lip awkwardly because he’s right. He grunts out a “both” and Tubbo exhales, letting the laugh slip out.
“What’s so funny? I’m still mad at you. You can’t laugh when I’m mad at you or I’ll be even madder.” Wilbur comes up behind Tubbo and floats beside him because he’s apparently still here, and Tubbo nearly jumps out of his skin cause oh god he saw all that? that’s sort of embarrassing, but Wilbur joins in, “Yeah, that’s kind of rude of you, Tubbo. Tommy’s been really sad and all you do is laugh at him.” And Tommy’s pale skin somehow reddens despite the lack of blood in his body. “I haven’t been sad, you idiot! Don’t tell him that!” Now that sounds like the Tommy he knows.
Tubbo listens to them go back and forth, feeling the burning sensation behind his eyes become unbearable and tries to swallow, sucks in a breath and realizes he can’t hold it back anymore, so he just leans forward and pulls Tommy into a hug and hides his face in the crook of his neck. That shuts them both up. And Tommy doesn’t know what ‘good’ is anymore. Doesn’t remember what happiness feels like. It’s really the complete opposite of Wilbur’s situation and Tommy hates it. He doesn’t want to feel sad all the time, but he can’t think of anything good that happened to him while he was alive and it frustrates him, confuses him, and that just makes him angrier. Wilbur telling him stuff makes him mad too because he shouldn’t have to be told these things, they should just come to him naturally.
But bottom line, he doesn’t remember what a hug is nor what it felt like. So...hugging is weird. It feels nice? He thinks? He vaguely recalls doing it with Wilbur...and even Techno...a lot with Phil. Years ago for them three but what felt like just yesterday for Tommy. He hugged them all the time back then when they were still a family...he didn’t hug Tubbo enough, did he?
Tommy awkwardly moves his arms to hold Tubbo and stares at Wilbur, helpless and silently pleading ‘help me what do I do’, and Wil just nods like, ‘yeah, you’re doing fine! dont worry.’ And they fall into a comfortable silence. Or rather what Tommy thought was going to be comfortable until he realizes that his shirt is progressively getting wetter by the second and Tubbo has begun to sniff quite a lot. “Uh...y’know, Tubbo, this is pretty cool. You’re hugging a ghost right now. Not many people can say they’ve done that.” He receives a laugh in response and Tubbo’s warm breath tickles his cold skin. “‘m sorry, Tommy.”
Well, he had certainly tried to lighten the mood, but he deflates a bit at the apology and frowns. “It’s fine.” He feels Tubbo’s head shake. “No, I should’ve stopped him. I shouldn’t have made him escort you, and I should’ve kept an eye on him. I should’ve come sooner.” Ugh. All of this apologizing and for what? Tommy rolls his nonexistent eyes and grumbles, his tone growing annoyed. “It’s fine, Tubbo, I don’t care-“ and Tubbo lightly punches his back to shut him up. “You do. You wouldn’t have told me if you didn’t.” Dammit, he’s got a point.
Tommy purses his lips and glares at Wilbur who smiles innocently. God, he definitely shouldn’t be here, just go a w a y. But Wilbur either ignores him or completely misses the social cue and floats over to a barrel, pulling out a disc and moving out of Tommy’s peripheral. Tubbo keeps going, “I was scared. I’m the president, Tommy, but I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to follow you, but that’s...I’m a leader now. I can’t. That’s all I’ve ever done. I followed you and Wilbur, and now you’re both gone and I’m all by myself.”
Tommy’s arms tighten a bit around him as he tries to reason with him. “There’s Fundy. And Big Q. Niki, Ranboo, Eret’s there but he’s still a bitch for what he did to us.” Tubbo digs his face into his neck even more, voice breaking again when he continues. “They called me Schlatt. Fundy, Quackity, even you. They don’t like me. They think I’m some dictator for what I did, and I thought I was doing the right thing. Everything hurts when I think back on it, but I can’t help it.” He pulls back and Tommy wants to look away, but the redness of Tubbo’s cheeks and the tears falling down his face keep him where he’s at. “I was scared you had died. Really died. But they always said you were fine, and I thought you didn’t need me. “
Tommy’s grip tightens around his compass “I didn’t.” Tubbo shakes his head and he wipes at the tears that refuse to stop. “You don’t mean that.” Chirp kicks to life in the background, and Tommy hums at the sound, relieved there’s something there to fill the silence “I don’t.” He doesn’t. He really doesn’t, but he’s at a loss. He’s unsure what the right thing to say is. He probably would’ve said something different if he were still alive, but he can’t even begin to think about what alive Tommy would say. All he thinks about is grey.
He looks behind him and sees Wilbur gone, probably inside the house, and listens to Tubbo speak again. “You clearly needed someone. You’re dead.”
Tommy looks back, and his eyes are a bit wider because someone finally said it to his face. It’s like he knew but...didn’t completely process it? And hearing it from Tubbo only makes it worse. “I guess I am...” he trails off, losing focus as the familiar tune of Chirp invades his ears and begins to sound too loud, too much, he doesn’t like how loud it is-
“Tommy?”
He blinks and stares at Tubbo. His tears have stopped. That’s good. He doesn’t like it when Tubbo cries. “Tubbo, are you just here to lecture me or is there something you want?” He curses mentally. Those words aren’t what he wanted to say at all, but saying anything else didn’t feel right. He’s not saying what he wants, why can’t he speak?? But Tubbo smiles and grabs his hand with the compass again, staring at it fondly and running his thumb across Tommy’s ashy skin.
“I’d like if you came back, Tommy.”
Huh?
Huh???
Tommy frowns. “Oh, so NOW you want me to come back. You waited till I died to say that! You just want L’manberg to be haunted, don’t you, Tubbo? You wanna be able to tell tourists that you have ghosts, huh?” And Tubbo laughs and laughs. Bubbly and so childlike. “That’s not what I meant-“
Tommy interrupts him and yells, but it’s clear he’s joking this time. “Wilbur- no, Ghostbur wasn’t enough for you, huh? That’s fine, I can be a good ghost for you, Tubbo, I’m great at this thing and I’ve only been like this for a week or so, I’ve practically mastered it.” And Tubbo keeps laughing, wipes at his eyes again as Tommy yells for Wilbur to “Pack our bags! we’re moving back to shitty, old L’manberg! We’re gonna be ghosts, Wilbur! It’ll be less shitty once we take over!” But he leans down and grabs Tubbo’s shoulders, white eyes seemingly glowing a little bit brighter as a smile grows on his face. “Tubbo, you have to promise me that I won’t be exiled again if I haunt Dream. I need to have your word, Tubbo, this is the most important thing in my entire life and I need your permission so I can rub it in his face when he starts crying like a little bitch boy and tells me to stop.”
Tubbo nods as more tears slip down his face, more laughter bubbling out of him. Tommy shakes his shoulders and laughs as well, high-pitched and loud as always. “Tubbo! Why’re you still crying! The president of L’manberg doesn’t cry, he gets angry and tells Dream to fuck off!”
And Tubbo looks up at Tommy, slipping the compass back inside his pocket.
“I’m just glad you’re still you.”

Gream angst! So, nails are cannon (you know, those thing you use to build), as well as other construction items. Mama Puffy helps though. Trigger warnings: Slight blood, implied torture, panic attack/response, cursing. Read at your own risk!
Puffy smiled, carefully petting the little ghost. He had gotten surprised by a creeper dropping between them as she was gathering wood, and had shrunk. She thought he had exploded, and nearly burst into tear again, only for him to swing into her line of sight while clinging to her bangs. Now, he had tangled himself in her wool-like hair, seemingly unbothered by how small he currently was and just enjoying the ride. He was completely different from how he was like when he was alive. With a sigh, she finally reached the mansion in Snowchester, climbing the winding stairs to get back to work on the table he was building.
"Oh, by the way, do have obsidian? I need it for the table. And a nether portal for Snowchester." He stated, pulling a strand between his hands as if it was a rope he was inspecting.
Puffy snickered, gently de-tangling him from the curly strands and holding him to her face. "Yeah, but not here. Let's get the actual table done first though, okay?" Dream- Gream - nodded. She still found the name change... interesting. It wasn't subtle at all that he was related to Dream, but people might think he's a dead relative or something... once the mask was gone. If he ever got rid of it. She was sure she could convince him to give it up eventually.
She set Gream down gently, letting him hop off her hand and onto the ground, carefully sitting down next to him. She then brought out her tools, setting each item down in front of her. Gream watched, staring at the hammer, pliers, scrapers, nails...
"Just give me the book!"
"I can- No. It's been what? Two weeks, and I haven't given anything up. Just give up!"
The man paced, a smile splitting across his face, golden tooth glistening from the lava. He leaned against the netherite blocks, the Warden had gotten into the habit of putting the barrier back up after Dream had tried to jump into the lava. The man turned back around, hammer swinging lazily. "Let's give this a try, yeah?"
"No... Sam! Stop, just leave!"
"Dream?"
"Leave me alone already, you can't have the book!"
"Gream!"
The little ghost gasped, snapping back to the real world. Puffy was standing back, holding Michael and Michelle off the ground; Tubbo, Tommy, and Ranboo were also off, standing in the doorway with Tubbo and Ranboo holding back Tommy, who was leaning into the doorway, stretching out over...
Shit. The whole room was slowly filling with acid. Gream hugged himself, sitting in the middle of the growing puddle. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. It's not my fault..."
"Gream, Gream we know, we know Gream!" Tommy tried to calm the ghost down. He hated when things like this happened. When Gream remembered...Something he'd either shrink, fill the space with acid, or do both. It really was getting tiring, and Tommy was too young to know how the hell to calm down a crazy ghost... who happened to be the ghost of his most hated enemy. Seriously, this had started out as him wanting to get revenge, but that was kind of hard when Gream kept freaking out over minor things.
Puffy set Michael and Michelle down on a shelf, stepping into the growing pool of acid. Tommy saw her cringe as it hit her hooves, a couple of bubbles slowly forming. He was suddenly pulled back, out of the doorway. "OW! What the-" Tubbo pointed down. The acid was slowly making its way out of the room. Shit, they had to do something fast. Puffy carefully walked over to the absolutely tiny ghost, doing her best to hid how much it hurt. Tommy couldn't even imagine. He'd dealt with lava and drowning and fire, he was not about to learn what slimy acid felt like.
"Gream? Sweetie? Can you hear me?" Puffy called out, trying not to loom over him. Gream looked up, only to suddenly look back down, curling into himself. Puffy sucked in a breath, scooping him up in her bare hands. The teens cringed as they saw the acid fill her hand and slowly drip over the edge. "G-Gream? It's me, Puffy. You're... mom? Sweetie? Please talk to me." Gream slowly uncurled, looking up at her from her hands. "What... What's wrong? You can tell me anything." Her smile betrayed her feelings, awkward and unnatural, tears threatening to fall from pain.
Gream looked to his feet, pulling his knees closer to his chest. "The man... I... There's a book... I don't know..." His small fists tangled in his hair, curling back in on himself. "I don't even know... It was a book... Just some book."
A realization came to Puffy at that moment, ears falling flat against her head. A small, strangled noise came from her, the tears finally falling. He died because of the revive book. Her duckling died because he refused to give up the revive book... The only response he was even kept alive in the first place. Her gaze slowly turned to the teens, locking onto Tommy. "You... You..." She couldn't blame Tommy for this, he had nothing to do with her duckling dying, and her duckling had hurt Tommy so much, it would be justice and revenge and it wouldn't be over the revive book. Especially since Wilbur was already back. Tommy stared in horror, the same realization coming to him as Gream spoke. Just who even wanted-
"Sam." The Warden's name felt like venom on Tommy's tongue. Sam, the Warden, knew who had done this. He had let someone visit Dream - Tommy knew this, but it never really hit him until now - after Tommy had died by Dream's hands. After Dream confirmed the book worked on humans. Someone had visited Dream in an effort to get the book, and knowing how Gream acted...
Tommy stormed out of the mansion. He needed to talk to Sam.
Puffy stared after Tommy, confused what was going on i the teen's head. She shook her head, she had to focus on Gream right now. "It's okay. You don't have to remember the book. Clearly it was important... too important to fall into the wrong hands." Puffy sniffled, carefully wiping the tears away so as to not burn her face. "Mommy is so proud of you. You protected everyone sweetie."
Gream looked up, relaxing slowly. "Really? You mean it?"
Puffy nodded. "Yes! You're so brave, and strong. You're my brave little duckling." She held her hands close the her face, closing her eyes as Gream slowly stood up. She felt him hug and nuzzle against her nose, the acid stopping, seemingly evaporating. Magic acid, who would have thought? Puffy opened her eyes again, just barely able to see Gream pressing himself into the short fur that covered her body. She watched him pull away, looking at her hands and hooves. Her palms were red and blistered, clearly irritated and very sensitive, even his little feet felt like burning iron. Her hooves were cracked and breaking, the fragile skin underneath the nail-like material exposed in some spots and bleeding.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to-"
"Shhh, it's okay." Puffy smiled, gently petting her duckling. "I know you didn't mean yo, I know you have something going on in that head of yours. I know it hurts you as well." She removed her hand from his head, carefully maneuvering a finger under his chin so he would look up. "Parents... we are supposed to love our children no matter how much they hurt us..." She took a shuddering breath. "I... I wasn't there, when you needed me... I thought about helping you... but then I turned my back on you." Puffy's voice cracked. Her duckling, who had caused so much pain, suffering, and harm to others had been hurt so badly; and instead of doing the responsible adult thing and visiting him, talking to him, letting him know she cared, she had let him rot in that cell. "If anyone should be apologizing, it should be me!"
She held him close to her chest, falling to her knees as she finally broke down again. Puffy wouldn't let anyone take her duckling to jail ever again. She finally had him back, and she wasn't going to lose him.

oh boy here we go again, this'll be a long one, and also formatted more fancily because i spent way too long on it END AVIANS! the thought process went something like this: the overworld had whatever the endermen once were, the nether had the original piglins, so what could have originally lived in the End? why not make it the original avians? in a world made of shattered islands floating on the Void, the only good ways to get around are teleporting and flying after all (Overworld and Nether avians descend from End avians that got teleported there randomly or travelled through the end portal intentionally to explore) END AVIANS: The classification "End Avian" encompasses two distinct species: The Greater and the Lesser End Avian. Colloquially, various types of winged end hybrids will also be lumped together under this as an umbrella term, but it is important to recognize the End Avians as their separate End Player species. Whether or not Void Walkers can be classified as End Avians is highly debated, as they are theorized to descend from a common ancestor, yet do not share any common traits with modern End Avians outside being winged as well. Greater End Avians: Status: Extinct(?) Classification: Player Old Folktales of End Natives say it was the Greater End Avians who invented the Elytra, attempting to fashion wings for children adopted from wingless species. Most knowledge of the Greater End Avian comes from preserved texts found in End Cities, making them the more known species of End Avians. They were described as having great wingspans, optimized for gliding long distances across the Void, and a relatively humanoid body. Dark or even black markings anywhere on their body were common, like with everything that touched the Void too much. Their wings were most commonly described as black with white patterns and feathered instead of chitinous like those of Void Walkers and Mirage Rays. They were known as travellers and traders, frequently interacting with all other End Player species. Another well-preserved fact about the Greater End Avian is their habit of adopting orphaned children regardless of species. The few preserved texts written by Greater End Avians are all by those living in end cities, having decided to settle down there to take care of their flocks of children. Some End cultures seem to have seen especially old Greater End Avians as god-like, as they were said to reach several thousand years of age under ideal living conditions, making them one of the longest-living pre-respawn player species. The wisdom of an ancient Greater End Avian was seen as priceless. The most common theory for the eventual extinction of the Greater End Avian is a dramatic change in the End's environment along with overhunting by newer civilizations entering the dimension, wanting them for their wings to use for fashioning new elytra. Some however theorize there could still be surviving Greater End Avians, as their ability to traverse the End and the Void like no other species could have aided them in taking refuge in the Distant Isles and other near-impossible to reach corners of the End. Lesser End Avians: Status: Unknown Classification: Player / Player-esque Mob The Lesser End Avian, while much more likely to still exist, is a far greater mystery than their bigger relatives. There are very few records of them, spanning many thousands of years. They are described as having far shorter wings than the Greater End Avian, theorized to fly with the aid of magic. Furthermore they are said to be amazing climbers, their wings perhaps sporting claws to help grip cliffs of endstone. Usually described as feathered, some texts mention them to sport scales as well. How humanoid they looked is unknown, beyond most likely having two legs and two arms and hands, like their descendants. They most likely lived, and perhaps still do, out in the Distant Isles, unbothered by hunters and the likes. The Lesser End Avian is theorized by many to be a living fossil, should they still exist, as records of them go back almost as far as End
civilization itself. This theory is supported by the same ancient scolars who attempted to record this reclusive species, as they too suggested Greater End Avians and Void Walkers, along with perhaps other species of Avians in the Nether and Overworld, all share significant traits with the Lesser End Avian. As the Distant Isles are theorized to not have changed much over time, it is very likely any species found there would not have had the need to evolve further either. One theory on the evolution of End Avian suggests they evolved from smaller dragons, explaining mentions of them having scales and clawed wings. Elytra:Said to have been created by the End Avians themself, elytra are made of a material similar to the chitin of insects, forming a thick and sturdy membrane in the shape of simple, rounded wings held by simple leather or twine straps. Despite what the material and its thickness suggests, elytra are incredibly light, possibly due to levitation magic woven into them during their creation. The wings are said to have been harvested from Mirage Rays, the presumed extinct ancestors of Phantoms, supported by phantom membranes being the only material capable of repairing a broken set of elytra. The End Avians used their own forgotten magic to make these wings mimic their own as closely as possible, making them react accordingly to the movement of their wearer and allowing them to glide long distance as if nearly weightless. (Once again evidence for the theory of levitation playing a strong role in making them functional) The elytra were originally gifts from the End Avians for their wingless children, but over time rose to be a symbol of status within End society. Any respectable captain of an end ship kept an elytra near the front of their ship, signifying they were "favored" by the avians themself. (Likely this came to be because children adopted by the more nomadic-inclined End Avians would go for a similar lifeststyle themself, inventing and manning the first end ships and bringing their elytra with them) Furthermore, End Avians continued to gift elytra to sailors who befriended them, making an end ship without at least one elytra found within an incredibly rare sight. Lesser End Avians = archaeopterix and then the evolution of birds from there except they came from dragons and its bird people try to guess which two winged mcyt guys the avians are based on! next up: the grand finale with void walkers and end city society when there were still people in them! and of course what happened to make there no longer be any people (rip)
*writes notes on a clipboard, nodding as I go*
Favorite part of this one is the idea of levitation magic being woven into elytra materials -- to which I will add: shulker bullets. Shulkers may be barnacle-like invasive pests now, but maybe at one point they were a farmed species, and the old races could harvest their levitation-inducing bullets for use in things like elytra.
I don't know if I'll ever actually need to use any of this? But I'm filing it away as "headcanon accepted" lore just in case.

So what exactly happened to Ranbob after Ran left Mizu? Warning for brief mentions of graphic material, though its kept undescriptive.
About a day after Ran left, Ranbob woke up. He woke up on the floor, confused to all hell. Because last he checked he fell asleep in his bed. He doesnt know the fact that Dream took over his body and mind for the last month. He doesnt know what he's done. So he looks around, confused as to why there's no one around. He looks in the school, no one, he looks in the training grounds, no one, He continues to look until he decides to head home, hoping his brother or sister will be there to explain what happened and where everyone is. He's expecting to see his family in the living room, maybe playing a game or just talking. Instead he walks in to see no one there and the house is dead quiet. The quiet unnerves Ranbob, he almost considers turning around. But he pushes on and visits Lias and Memi's room, his heart stops upon seeing their bodies both in different positions. He almost throws up before running out of the room. He checks his parents room to see the same scene, then he just books it out of the house. Running aimlessly. As he runs he finds more bodies, either in the cafeteria where they died from poison or outside homes and stores where they were clearly attacked. He continues to run, trying to get away from everything and the sudden weight on his shoulders. He fails.
He eventually finds himself in the room Dreams mask is kept in, he suddenly feels a sense of dread and finds himself flung back into the recesses of his mind, coming face to face with Dream. Dream doesnt say anything and just stares at Ranbob. The two just stare at each other for a bit with complete silence, with the exception of a dripping noise. Ranbob looks around aiming to find the source of the noise, he doesnt find it until he looks towards Dream again and spots what looks to be blood dripping from a dagger at his belt. Ranbob freaks out then and starts to rip into him, demanding to know whats happened, that Dream promised to help him. As Ranbob questions him Dream starts to smile. He then simply responds with "I did help you. I got rid of all sources of your stress. Or, should I say, you got rid of them." That makes Ranbob freeze, and as he slowly processes that Dream killed everyone wearing his skin, he gets thrown back into the real world. He eventually registers whats happened as he killed everyone. So he screams. He keeps screaming until he can't and is choking on air as he trys to keep screaming. Then he cries, the tears burning a line through his skin until he has no tears left, them he's left grasping at his unkempt hair trying to ground himself and stop his panic. He fails and eventually collapses from emotional exhaustion.
As time passes the pain from what he did doesnt fade, and Dream taunting him about it doesnt help. Dream takes control of Ranbobs body daily, he's actually in control more often than Ranbob himself. Because Dream isn't used to being in a actual body, he doesn't eat or drink when he should. Which causes Ranbob to gradually get thinner and thinner. He's actually still supposed to be growing during this time, since enderman hybrids typically stop growing in their 20s (give or take a few years). But due to malnourishment and dehydration he just stops growing, which is why, when compared to his brother, he's so short (Ran is 6'8 currently, Ranbob is 6'2 currently. Before they met up again Ran was 6'7 and Ranbob 6'0).
When the Fishermen arrived to Mizu, Benjamin and Isaac felt that something was off, but continued on. When they met Ranbob, Dream was still in control. During the tour the odd feeling Benjamin and Isaac have just grow more and more. When Ranbob attacks them, they manage to knock him down and pin him down. When he's knocked down the sudden impact seems to knock something lose, in both his mind and a item. A part of the Dream mask gets free of its place in Ranbobs pocket and skits across the ground. While the sudden impact knocks Dream from his pedestal in Ranbobs mind and gives Ranbob himself a opening to take control. And he takes it. He takes control but isn't able to say anything before the Fishermen haul him up and locking him in a room. Because the Dream shard is away from Ranbob, he's finally able to breath and think for himself. Benjamin, Isaac, and Charles typically vist him and give him food and water. But Benjamin often stays longer and takes time to talk to him. Over the span of a week the two get closer and Ranbob is able to tell his story, Benjamin believes him, due to the evidence he's seen. It takes time but Benjamin manages to convince the rest (mostly) to let Ranbob out and to listen to him. Cletus though refuses to listen to him and demands more proof. So Ranbob, very hesitantly, takes the group to Dreams Idol Statue deep in Mizu. When they get there Ranbob almost immediately becomes distressed, as in his head he's attempting to maintain his own mind and body as Dream attempts to take his puppet back. He grabs at his head, repeatedly saying no and stop it. The group doesn't notice this at first because their busy looking around. But when a sudden scream grabs their attention Benjamin jumps into action, grabbing Ranbob, and attempting to drag him out of the room. As Ranbob gets dragged out he screams for Dream to stop. The fishermen plus Ranbob later meet and Ranbob shares (almost) his life story. Cletus still believes this is just a act, but is out numbered by the others wanting to take Ranbob back to their home to help him heal.
Stuff I couldn't fit in:
-Ranbob has nightmares constantly about what he's done.
-Ranbob sees Dreams smile in random objects (like water, food, trees) that don't even slightly resemble it.
-Ranbob gained 2 inches in height only after the Fishermen rescued him and gave him regular and healthy meals.
-Ranbob thinks Ran is dead. Although deep down he wants to believe his brother is alive.
--------------Questions---------------
When Ran figured out who was doing the killings, he immediately headed out to find the last Counsel member and find Ranbob. But on his way out something screamed at him to grab the book and items that where either given to him as part of his Technoblade Idol training, or given as a gift. He decided to listen to this feeling and grabbed the items before he headed out.
He is good with enderman as enderman tend to leave him alone so he leaves them alone. He despises spiders because they tend to get into his sleeping/safe spots and are quiet as hell so they tend to sneak up on him. Skeletons and Zombies are just a annoyance and he's typically able to easily deal with them. Stays are a pain because of the slowness arrows they have and whenever they hit him he gets slow as well as groggy. He avoids creepers cause he doesnt see the worth in killing them.
They are aware! Grievous made a potion mix of slowness, weakness, and a tiny pinch of regeneration (to contradict the biggest negative effects of weakness) to try to help Ran sleep. When Ran first opened up to the group about his paranoia Jackie offered to sleep with him if his paranoia stops him from relaxing enough to sleep. And Watson made a gesture and keyword that Ran just has to either speak or do for Watson to follow him and stay close to him when his paranoia gets to much to handle on his own. But even though Ran told them about his paranoia, he's reluctant to accept help from the others, funnily enough, due to his paranoia.
He does eventual, him staying there actually took him by surprise cause he thought he was only going to be there for like a week, next thing he knows 4 weeks have passed and no ones found him. So he fixes up his shelter and makes it more of a actual shelter against the snow and cold. Nothing really happens, which is a welcome change to Ran because he's so used to so much going on. He does end up having to fight a polar bear because it tried stealing his recent hunt. But other than that and a tree falling down in the middle of the night and barely missing his shelter, nothing really happens.
It was actually a main playing factor in his paranoia and trust issues.
A chapter in his book is dedicated to the Nether, and Ran, looking to escape his pursuers in a pinch, decides on a whim to try out this "Nether" thing. When he first arrives, the heat and sudden surrounding change shocks him, cause he didnt actually read that chapter of the book. He builds into the side of a hill to avoid hoglins, he doesnt have much in there except for chests with a bunch of different stuff, brewing stands, maps, and weapons. The piglins originally think of him as just a regular traveler from the other world, but slowly start to think of him in a more positive way. As Ran often stops by to give them left over gold and other trinkets he no longer needs for nothing in return. Plus he accidentally saves a baby piglin after he heard hoglins throwing a fit and decided to take the chance to hunt, he only saw the piglin after he killed the hoglins and brought it back to the nearby Bastion. Which immediately boosted the piglins option of Ran. Ran himself was cautious of the piglins, even after Ran saved the baby piglin, he knows better than to completely relax around them. Nether life leads to him relaxing a bit more than he normally would (which he'd later regret after he leaves because the hunters get a jump on him because he was too relaxed) and learning to watch where he steps, cause more than twice Ran tripped in the Nether and got to close to lava or magma blocks for his comfort.
They where found by the group that dared to travel into the snow and chase him. They took almost every item there before burning down his house, giving Ran nowhere to return too. And they don't visit any of his homes purposely, they did run across his burned snow home, but they didn't stay long because Ran knew/thought there was nothing left.
The Gladiator group is understanding, as they know this is probably how he was when he was living out in the wild. And its understandable for him to regress back into this protective personality when faced with the same location he developed it in. The fishermen are put off by this sudden attitude change. But with possible explanations from the Gladiators and encouragement they eventually get used to it.
The fishermen are mad and relieved. Their relieved it didn't actually hurt Ranbob. But are mad that it happened. Cletus was very close to vaulting over the edge of the arena and knocking Ran into the water surrounding the arena. Something I wanna add even though you didn't ask, when Ranbob was pinned down he didn't feel angry, he felt broken because he just found his brother! His brother who he thought died! And now said brother is trying to kill him. His brother hated him so much, but Ranbob thought he deserved this and resigned himself to die (though Ran never made direct moves to attack him and instead used the time to yell at him). The weapon gets properly disposed of, like it was supposed to be at the start.
----------TotI----------
I don't remember if I mentioned it before either tbh but yes its his watch that caused the Travelers to arrive.
Its suspected either the Egg or Dream XD wrote the book. Some say its the Egg because its talking about its plans in the book. Others say its Dream XD and this may be a research type book the God was writing when it first encountered the Egg. The egg only has connection to the Travelers from The Masquerade and even then its either faint or non-existent due to the Travelers extended distance from the Egg (after the murders Billiam and Butler decided to move to a new mansion as suspension was starting to catch up to them. The Egg didn't come so its hold on them faded until it disappeared.)
Not particularly well. They go through multiple plans all with some success but ultimately failing. Eventually they narrow it down to the Eggpire repeatedly getting in the way and sabotaging their things during battle and the Egg being unable to be damaged forever. So they decide to get a piece of the Egg's shell that got broken off and experiment on it. The members of the Eggpire don't really care (or, Bad does. But he act like he doesnt) that the Egg uses their lives as nothing but entertainment and continue to fight to defend the Egg.
-------------
Yes! When he was first rescued and was hell bent on somehow paying them back he always farmed for them. And even before he'd have to farm in Mizu to survive.
Ran no like socializing. Especially when its with royals or rich people.
MORE FLUFF, IMA TRY TO MAKE THIS A DAILY THING BUT NO PROMISES:
-Cletus started a game of tag and eventually it grew to involve everyone, and it increased to 2 taggers. One time Ran and Jackie where it, Ran was banned from teleporting cause its cheating, so instead he threw Jackie the entire time.
-Ran has his first celebrated birthday in years! (He didn't tell The Pit group about his birthday cause he didn't want too, but Ranbob eventually spilled its date to them.)
-Ran loves to have people guess the brothers age and seeing the surprise on their face when he tell them their actual age.
-Benjamin is very much Ranbobs father figure.
-Sleepovers happen often :)
Brothers AU:
Oh, poor Ranbob. So he and Dream are able to kind of 'see' each other? How does that work? Might've asked this before, but what's Ranbob up to, when Dream's in control?
He'd be short for an Endermen then? Did it permanently stunt his growth? How does Ran feel about that, and does anyone else notice this, considering the rarity of hybrids?
Did Ranbob have a piece of the mask with him when Dream originally took control? How did he acquire it? I can't imagine a historian-to-be would be to eager to break something considered an artifact, after all? What did he and Benjamin talk about when he was with him?
Are there any differences to the Dream Room? Seeing as this Ranbob isn't fond enough of him to maintain it, and Dream might not consider it important enough-or does he?
Actually, what did they even do down there, with everyone dead? What purpose did Dream even have for having control of Ranbob's body so often?
Cletus thought it to be an act? Similar to what Ran thought originally, huh? Anything come from that?
--------
Poor Ranbob, for the majority of these things.
Good for him on the inches though.
-------
Again, can't remember if this was asked before, but Ran figured out who did the killings? Was he going to confront his brother-or did he just think he figured it out, and had it wrong? What was the origin of the feeling? Just a gut-feeling?
Spiders are the worst, so that's understandable. Why are creepers in particular such a hassle for him?
Are potion mixtures common? What mixtures/potions do the groups use most often? And seems Grievous is the main potion-handler, why's that?
Ah, irony.
Ran really walked into a freezing cold biome and went 'where are all the people?', huh? Also, who even fights a polar bear, the mad man.
Okay, so from what I remember, not too many people traversed the Nether nowadays(or didn't know about it?? I have no idea, there's so many posts, I can't the answer), so why was it in a not-so-helpful survival guide? Where'd he even get the book? It also makes me want to ask world-buildings questions about Mizu, but we're here to traumatize the people, so I'll hold off.
Ran is now a piglin favorite, good for him, he needs some allies. Where'd he get the gold, considering his life on the run? Did he make any specific piglin friends/allies? How'd the hunters find him there? How did they access the Nether?
The gang's thoughts on his little snow home remainders?
Cletus goes from Number One Ranbob hater to president of the Ranbob protection club, we have it here, folks. Also, poor Ranbob. Poor everyone, really, they're just going through it.
---------------
Tip Of The Iceberg AU:
Oh, XD's getting involved? That's interesting. Does he have any of his own connections with the travelers? How do the Egg-effected feel, having been broken free of it for awhile, only to find themselves toyed with by it again? Who says XD wrote the book, and who says the Egg, and why?
So they're fighting the Eggpire? Who's on the frontlines? What're the others doing? How strong is the Egg at this point? Is it a genuine threat, and do they have to keep away from it, or is it only an issue because it has the Eggpire to defend it? Bad cares? Is he not as under it's influence as the others, or something else?
-------------
Brothers AU(?)
That must've been an interesting experience. How did they react to that, considering Ranbob's not-so-healthy state? Or did he only start doing it once he was more stable on his feet?
....Doesn't...doesn't he work for an Emperor tho? But yeah, understandable.
I'll take what I can get!!
That tag sounds both hilarious and terrifying. Imagine being the fishermen and having one of the gladiators picked up and launched at you like a football-and then possibly the other one charging toward you. Like, if that's not motivation to run, what is?
Aww, good for him.
Okay, yeah, that'd definitely be funny. Ran forgave Ranbob and immediately chose mischief, huh?
Fishermen Benjamin pulls a Philza Minecraft, more at eight.
Very good!

Have a good week!

We’re back with Summoning family! I’m referencing Rustic House Club in this fic, so you might want to go read it, especially the bonus chapter as  it has a bit that leads into this chapter, though it’s not necessary to read.
also ay yo @petrichormeraki ! new chapter!
The moment Jrum had seen Sam, he rushed to the redstoner and attached himself to one of his legs. Grum quickly followed to help pry his younger brother off the man, but Jrum made it as difficult as possible. “I am sorry for my brother. I assume you are Sam?”
“Yeah, that’s me. Can I ask what that was about?”
“Your mask. It resembles that of a creeper in such a way that it makes you resemble someone we are familiar with. Jrum likely saw the mask and presumed you to be him. He is already rather homesick.”
“Hey, don’t worry. I’m happy to help you two. Puffy said you needed help with some redstone?” Sam asked, earning a nod from Grum.
“Correct. We are robots that are powered by redstone. Our circuitry is complex enough that we do not have a way to easily self recharge, thus a charger for us will need to be constructed. Jrum? The blueprints if you please?”
Jrum handed a sheet of paper to Sam. It had various orthographic views of the device as well as interior images and instructions on how to build it. “That’s the tweaked version since our dads could make it smaller.”
Sam looked over the blueprints. “Hmm, yeah, this is gonna be pretty big, but it’s manageable. Do I need to make one for each of you?”
“No, we should be able to share.” Grum replied. “Though two would indeed be a better option, we would not want to force you to do more work, and once we have one charger, the two of us will be able to make a second ourselves without any looming deadline.”
“Alright then, let’s start making this thing.”
Sam took them to an open area which he also explained was where they could build a place to live around the charger. Grum thought that was a good idea as he mapped out the area for Sam and Jrum to start working. Grum also helped out as much as he could, but he had given much of his battery charge to Jrum, and soon it showed.
“You doing okay there?” Sam asked Grum, who’s movements were stuttered and slow. Grum didn’t respond, just continuing to work. “Hey kid? Uh, Jrum I think? Something’s up with your brother.”
Jrum stopped what he was doing and came over, looking at his brother. “Oh… h-he’s in low power mode. I… Grum do you want some of my charge?” Grum didn’t respond. He didn’t want to use any power for it. “Here, let me just connect us up.” Jrum started to pull out a cable, but Grum stopped him. “Don’t. Finish the charger. Instead. I’ll be. Fine.”
Jrum still looked worried, but slowly put the cable away. Sam went back to working, and Jrum almost did as well, but then Grum collapsed, now completely out of power. “No!” Jrum was immediately back at Grum’s side and started shaking him. “Please wake up! P-Please! I don’t want to be alone! W-wake up!”
Sam wanted to comfort the robot, but what just happened showed just how important this project was. So instead he just started working as fast as he could without messing up. Jrum reluctantly joined him after a few minutes, working slowly.
They had almost completed it when Jrum’s movements also became stiff and laggy. Sam paused what he was doing again to be next to Jrum, not wanting to leave him feeling alone. “What. If I. Don’t wake. Up again?” Jrum asked.
Sam gave a comforting hug to the robot. “You will. I promise.”
Jrum slowly hugged the man back. Sam held on until he felt Jrum’s grip loosen, and when he pulled away, Jrum was also completely off, save for the symbol of an empty battery before it disappeared, leaving everything dark.
“Now are you all sure this is a wise decision?” Xisuma asked, admin panel open and ready to send the group of six to Helscraft.
“Yes! This is probably the last place we have to look!” Tommy shouted at Xisuma, surprising him. “And if we have to fight for them back! So be it!”
Mumbo put a hand on Tommy’s shoulder. “Calm down. This isn’t exactly the first time we’ve lost someone in there. I’m sure if the bots did end up in Helscraft, they’re probably in safe hands.”
Tommy looked over at Grian who gave a sad smile and nodded. “We’ll just need to be a little careful. Last time we were there I got mistaken for someone else, and since that person was the empress of the world, it could happen this time too.”
“Okay, someone good will have the kids, people are going to try and kill Grian, we protect him. Great! Got it! Let’s go!”
Xisuma rolled his eyes but smiled at his newest hermit before sending the group off to the hels dimension.
The group found themselves standing on a small island made of mycelium as well as being on fire. The water surrounding the burning island was a blood red color, though it otherwise looked like water. Mumbo walked over to a chest and pulled out some boats before putting them down. “Alright, we’re heading to that main island in the distance over there.” He pointed. “We’re going to need to find a portal that’s made of something that looks like glowstone, but isn’t. From there we follow a path lined with blue clouds. No questions, just get in the boats.”
The only time Tommy had heard Mumbo that serious was when he was scolding the bots, so he immediately listened and got in a boat, Tubbo getting in behind him. He followed behind the boats Mumbo and Techno were rowing, going towards the main island of the world. Looking at it was a bit jarring. He could tell this was like the hermits’ cowmercial district, but it also looked like it was a part of the SMP with how destroyed and griefed it looked.
Grian led them to a portal that looked like it was made from a golden material with blue magic in the middle. When Tommy went through, he was surprised to see something that looked so much like the standard overworld. Though it resembled a plains biome, something Tommy absolutely hated, it also didn’t with its mint green grass and blue dirt. Trees with light green, blue and navy leaves speckled the land, and unfamiliar mobs roamed the land. There was also one other difference. The place was absolutely freezing.
“Wh-wh-where a-are w-we?” Tommy chattered out before he was handed a blanket made out of wool. Mumbo had one of his own and was handing out one to each member of the party, save for grian who was using his wings instead. One blanket had been brought for the avian though, and Techno took that one too, as being a piglin already made the overworld chilly, so this was on a different level.
“This is the aether. It’s what they have instead of the nether in Helscraft.” Grian answered. “And while The nether is supposed to be closer to the core of the world, making it much hotter, this place is far up in the air, making it extremely cold. The spawn here has something to make the air here breathable, but outside of this place, you need extra gear to breath for very long as there’s not much oxygen. Fortunately the path we’re going on has something set up, which is why those blue clouds are there. But also do not touch them because it will not end well for you.”
After Grian’s warning, everyone was very careful as they walked the marked path. Beings made of clouds attempted to attack as they walked, but the group had bows that made quick work of the mobs. Finally, as they drew close to the end of the path, a large rustic style mansion stood completely undamaged like the main island had been.
“Alright, now hopefully the bots are there.” Grian said, half under his breath before running towards the mansion. Tommy was the first to run off after him, the others all following behind. Just before they reached the front door, it opened, and Grian walked out.
“Oh! Grian! You came for a visit! How nice!” The second grian spoke before setting down a picnic basket and hugging his double.
“Nice to see you too NPG, but… please tell me you at least thought I would visit.”
The other Grian, NPG, tilted his head. “No, I’m sorry but I didn’t. Was I supposed to know? Did I forget a planned gathering?”
“No… I just… Grum and Jrum… they got k-killed… and their respawn… th-they didn’t show b-back up… w-we thought they m-might be here and…”
“Oh no! That sounds horrible!” NPG covered his mouth in shock. If there’s anything I can do to help, I will. I just need to visit Sense first.” NPG picked up his basket again. “If you want you could come with?”
Mumbo put his hands on Grian’s shoulders. “I don’t think that would be a good idea after their last meeting.”
“What the fuck did this Sense guy do?” Tommy asked, making NPG look over.
“Oh hello! I don’t believe I caught your name.”
“I’m Tommy. These are Tubbo, Philza and Technoblade. Now what about this Sense guy?”
“It is nice to meet you all. Perfect sense is the Hels counterpart to Mumbo here. From what I can tell, the first meeting between him and Grian did not go well at all.”
“How so?” Phil asked, dad instincts cropping up.
“He got extremely handsy with Grian.” Mumbo answered. “To put it lightly, clothes almost came off and Grian was left with a bruise on his neck. After that he tried to kill the both of us along with NPG.”
“Oh I remember seeing that bruise.” Tommy replied. “Now I get why Grian got so upset about my comment about your guy’s love life.”
“I wouldn’t mind meeting the guy.” Phil spoke up. For all we know, he could have some answers about your kids. If he was willing to mess with you before, he could be doing it again.”
“Alright then! Follow me!” NPG started to lead them off before doubling back and grabbing masks for everyone to wear. Once they were on, then NPG started leading the group through the unprotected land. A number of creatures attacked, but the group was relatively safe.
Eventually they reached a large chasm, the sky below going down for miles, any ground below obscured by clouds. If there even was any ground below. “Okay now this is probably going to be scary for most of you, but what we’re going to do is jump onto this small purple cloud. Once you do, try not to move, there are blue aerclouds below, but it’s not the most fun thing in the world trying to get back to the start. Here, I’ll go first.”
NPG jumped onto the purple cloud and was immediately launched into the sky, rocketing forward until he hit another purple cloud that caused the same effect. He kept at this for a bit before finally landing on another island on top of some while clouds. The robot then turned around to face the others and waved them over.
There was a bit of screaming from some of the group as they were thrown over the chasm by the clouds, glad to be back on solid ground by the end. Once Grian had gotten over - flying instead of using the clouds much to everyone’s dismay - NPG started walking again until they finally reached a clearing. There wasn’t a single mob in sight, but there was a small house made of some unfamiliar wood, similar to what NPG’s mansion had been made with.
“Sense! I’m here to visit again! And I brought some friends!” NPG called out and then there was the rattling of chains coming from inside the building. The group immediately drew weapons, ready to face whatever game out of the building, but they lowered them as someone stepped out.
The man for the most part looked like Mumbo, but there were a number of things that made him different. His hair was much longer and looked matted, with something similar going on with his mustache. He had a blue tie that had stains which Tommy recognized as being from blood. The stains themselves were all near the top of the tie, where a large scar was present on the man’s neck, just above the fabric. His wrists were cuffed, about a foot of chain connecting them and his hands were stained bright red from redstone dust. His feet were in a similar situation, the ankles cuffed and connected, but a much longer chain was also linked to one of the cuffs, leading back into the house. Finally, the man was rather skinny. Mumbo himself was lanky which added to his height, but this man was so thin that some of his bones could be seen and his clothes hung on him loosely.
“Okay! So I got you some beef, though I made sure to soak it in broth all night so it’s nice and soft. I’ve also got some swet gummies that have some essential vitamins as well as some milk and blueberries. And then, once you’ve had all of that, I brought youuuuu” NPG dragged the word out as he slowly pulled something out of the basket. “A candy cane!”
Sense grabbed at the food and NPG was soon helping the helsmit eat. Grian and Mumbo were absolutely horrified at the scene, and even the group from the SMP were taken aback at the state this man was in. He was so weak, he could barely chew without help, which was very different compared to the evil genius Grian and Mumbo had the displeasure of meeting before.
When Sense was done eating, NPG went back to the basket. “So I know last time you said your dust was wearing out, so I brought you a new piece to play with!” The helsmit’s eyes lit up when NPG handed him a bit of redstone dust. He messed with it a bit before putting it away in his pocket, and then pulling out a death ray and pointing it at Mumbo, who was currently standing closest to him other than NPG.
Tommy took a step closer, drawing his sword and immediately the weapon was pointed at him. However, Sense was still weak and his hand was wobbly. Before he could hold it steady, NPG smacked the ray gun out of his hand and put it in his own inventory. “Bad Sense! Next time you won’t get any candy!”
“Did True do this to him?” Mumbo asked, now even more worried about meeting her to make sure the boys weren’t there.
NPG looked back and tilted his head. “What? Oh no. The new emperor did!”
“I thought you said True was the empress again.” Grian spoke. “You said that Sense got dethroned a few days later. Wouldn’t that be True?”
“Nope! Someone different. In fact I’m his second in command! Or running mate. Either works! He didn’t need one since it wasn’t an election or anything, but he insisted. Oh! We should go talk to him and see if he knows anything! He doesn’t really use any communicator so I have to visit him if anything comes up. But if Jrum and Grum are with him, I’m sure they’re just fine since I talk about them so much to him!”
Before anyone in the group could say anything else, NPG led them away and over to a large campfire. Techno raced to it once he could see it and held his hands out to warm himself. “Oh, you don’t have to do this. This will just take us back to the main island. There’s only really supposed to be one, so it takes you back to where you entered the dimension in, but Xannes made more!”
“Who’s that?”
“Oh, that’s Evil X’s name. I get to call him that because I’m his friend!m Anyway, let’s go!”
The group used the magic of the campfire to pull them back into the overworld. NPG Was almost immediately off running towards the castle, leaving the rest of the group to catch up. They went through a number of halls in the castle before finally getting to a set of large decorated double doors. “Okay, so he’s in here. I’m pretty sure he’ll let you guys come in and say hi and ask your questions, but I don’t want to be rude and assume, so I’m gonna go in there and ask.”
Everyone was perfectly fine with that, getting a moment or two to catch their breaths since none of them were robots like NPG. The door was still cracked open, so everyone was able to hear as he spoke to the emperor, so they listened in as they waited and rested.
“Hi! I just finished visiting Sense!” There was a pause, none of them hearing the emperor. “He managed to make a death ray. I think he kept lying when he said his redstone was wearing out. But he wasn’t able to use it on any of us.” There was another pause, this one much shorter. “Oh! Some friends came to visit! Grian and Mumbo had a question for you and also brought their friends along named Tommy, Tubbo, Philza and Technoblade! They were wondering if they could come in and talk with you.”
Everyone couldn’t help but hold their breath at the pause before a small cheer erupted from NPG and he was almost immediately back at the door. “Okay, he said you can come in and ask him things!”
The robot pushed the door open all the way before running back into the room. Grian watched as his creation sat down in a smaller chair next to a large throne centered against the far wall. Tommy gave a quick laugh at the cheery robot before his gaze moved over to the one sitting in the throne and it suddenly felt like he couldn’t breathe. Beside him, Tubbo was having a similar reaction and both Phil and Techno drew their weapons.
Sitting on the throne was a man. His elbow rested on one arm of the throne as his hand pressed against his cheek, holding his head up. His legs were crossed as well, giving him the look of someone who was bored or just didn’t care. A bandana was tied around his face like a bandit, covering his mouth and nose. A single brown eye was visible, starting down towards the group, meanwhile the other eye and the rest of that side of his face was covered with a mask of white porcelain, a simple smiling face carved into it.
“Dream…” Tommy spoke aloud, his voice trembling.

Deku x reader- Minecraft millionaire
Fluff
A/N: I use Xbox so these are Xbox controlls but feel free to change them as you see fit
Izuku sat on his bed flicking his eye's from the facetime with you to the screen in front of him continuously holding the right trigger on his controller and chewing his lip. "Wait what level do you find diamonds?" he asked glancing at his coordinates in the corner and you jumped around the world trying to escape a creeper "Fuck i'm gonna die! i'm gonna die! please NO!" you yelped and decided it was time to dig a hole in the ground and block it off. "Sorry, what did you ask?" you look at the phone propped up against your laptop and chuckle at Izuku's face scrunched up in concentration "uh, what level do you find diamonds" he repeated not taking his eye off the screen filled with grey stone blocks and dot's of black for coal. "12 to 14, usually 13 is like the best place"
You answered uncovering the hole you had dug in just as a creeper passed over you and fell into your 3 by 1 grave. "NOOO!" you screeched as the green mob flashed white and you tried to jump out of the inescapable hole for a final moments peace but to no avail. The unmistakable sound of a muffled explosion and the respawn screen, lighting your face up red and you let out a fake cry. "Did you die?" he asked despite the obvious answer. "Yeahh" you answered with a heavy sigh and respawned at home, grabbing a spare wooden sword and jumping over to the spot of your death. If nothing else you'd get a lot of dirt?
Izuku muttered about hitting his head off every block and you snickered "I mean at least you learned your lesson about digging straight down" he huffed and flailed his arms creating a cold air around him "it wasn't my fault no one told me I shouldn't dig straight down!" he had a point, yes, but still you had presumed that even he would know such a basic rule "I know, I know" you say nearing the site of the explosion and start sprinting ignoring the band of mobs chasing you.
"HOW IS MY STUFF STILL HERE. IT WAS LITERALLY NEXT TO ME?!" you yelped in surprise but ran around the area gathering your stuff and spammed the Y button, automatically gearing up and switched your sword to your hotbar along with your enchanted pickaxe and cooked chicken.
"Maybe the minecraft gods granted you... something?" Izuku laughed and popped out of his mine running to his furnace and dropping in a stack of Iron. "(y/n) I hear you need some cobblestone" Izuku said running to your house across from his and down the basement to your storage area. You groaned begrudgingly trying to fend off an army of spiders who had made it a personal goal of theirs to off you. "Izuku please don't contribute to the cobble chest. I'm begging you. I don't need more cobble" you whined sprinting away with 5x more Xp than you originally had. "Do you have lapiz?" you asked raking through his chests to find the blue material.
Izuku opened the chest almost full with cobble and finished it off with 12 more stacks, leaving one or himself. The green achievement bar popped up at the bottom of the screen "Chestful of cobblestone" and you clicked your tongue pushing your hands together like a prayer in front of your mouth "IZUKU. I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD I'M GOING TO BURN YOUR COBBLE. STOP GIVING ME COBBLE, THAT GOES FOR ALL THE REST OF THE BOYS TOO!" your shouting could be heard throughout the dorm and some of the other minecraft players snickered to themselves.
Anytime, they had a stack or so of cobble, they would put it in one of your chests and it became a running joke for them to go "Hey (y/n) I heard you needed more cobble" and shove it in the chest despite your begging them not to. You had 3 chests of cobble but never got the achievement because you had burned the first 2 chestfulls before they could finish it off.
"Yes I have lapiz just give me a sec" he answered after your threat and jumped over to you. Meeting in front of your pumpkin farm you were jumping on. "If you fall you're gonna trample your crops" he said and you shrugged "that's what I have a diamond hoe for duh" you say in a bragging way as if having a diamond hoe of all things really just showed your wealth. You jumped off the pumpkin successfully not landing on your crops and spun around in front of Izuku as he threw lapiz at you "Is this what it's like to be a stripper" you chuckled and Izuku snorted at your joke. "Okay that's enough" you say, stopping him from throwing anymore and bouncing off to your enchantment table.
"I can't believe you had 4 extra diamonds and you made an enchantment table and a hoe" he sighed grabbing all the iron from his furnace and spinning to the crafting table to make a new pickaxe and a bucket for milk. He was determined to make a cake just as much as getting diamonds but there was a lack of cows due to bakugo's anger issues when he was in the server. "What would you even have done with them!?" "I COULD HAVE BOOTS (y/n)!" he shouted back and you purse your lips. He could have had boots...
"Okay well I'm sorry I'm rich and have full diamonds" you shrug and he looked up from his controller looking straight forward pinching the bridge of his nose "your a bitch" he laughed and started back down his mineshaft complaining about the steps hitting his head again. "You love me really" you chuckle and he rolls his eyes with a smile "yeah I know" you glance at the facetime and smile, 8 hours, 29 minutes 43 seconds you'd been on a call just playing minecraft in the server you ran for "the lads" as it had been dubbed.
"OOH IZUKU I JUST GOT FORTUNE 3 ON MY DIAMOND PICKAXE!" you exclaim, celebrating by jumping up and down. "Sweet! You're gonna have endless coal!" he laughed and you punched the air excitedly "so much Xp!" "we have an Xp farm" he retaliated and you pouted "Let me be exited" you whined and he awed "sorryyy" he said dragging it out for effect and you huffed "better be."
Izuku's inventory quickly filled with cobble, coal, and iron again, the occasional redstone for Xp and fuck gold, gold sucks. He stumbled into a cave, a platform of stone and on each side was a pool of lava. But Izuku's eyes lit up and he gasped "OH MY GOD!" he shouted digging through the wall to get to the prize. "WHAT!" you shouted back, busy breeding the chickens and throwing eggs in the overcrowded pen. "Sorry but some of you guys have gotta go" you muttered brandishing your iron sword, specifically named "the chicken killer" since you didn't want to waste your diamond sword on chickens. "DIAMONDS!" he shouted back building a platform around the edge of the lave he could walk on and building under the diamonds for safety.
"OH OH MY GOD WAIT THERE AND I'LL MINE THEM FOR YOU!" you say abandoning the chickens and jumping over to his house again. "wait why. This is my moment I've literally never found diamonds and you're gonna take them from me" he asked looking at the phone, your face twisted with concentration. "Because I have fortune 3 and I can make 8 diamonds like 24" you said. "can I mine these ones and tell you when I find more instead I want to mine my own first diamonds." you stopped at the entrance jumping up and down in frustration "okay fine"
As Izuku ventured further into the cave earning probably half a new chest worth of cobble he shouted for you. "I found more diamonds." you immediately sprang into life holding the left stick to go down quicker. "Okay yeah this is really inconvenient" you agreed about bumping your head on the way down and landed at his shaft. "Uhh which way am I going" you asked. "Left" he said. You followed the trail of torches and Izuku's name tag that got bigger the closer you were eventually running into the same square as him. "Move back I can't see" you instructed and he scooted backwards.
You swung the enchanted pickaxe collecting the aqua gems and throwing them at izuku. "That's like 20 something," you said, shrugging at the phone and running off back home. "That was 28" he said running after you to finally make his full iron armor and tools "I have 33 in total" he grabbed sticks from his unorganised chests that you despised and for the first time, made diamond armor in minecraft.
"Oh my god he's wearing BLUE! It doesn't match your colour scheme" you cried shielding your eyes and looking away. "Sorry (y/n) let me just dye my diamonds green real quick" he said, throwing an emerald at you and you feigned shock. "A MIRACLE. TRULY"
"Okay I wanna enchant it" he said following you to the enchantment table. "We do have those enchanted books if you want something specific?" you said but he shook his head "nah i'm doing it old fashioned" he said standing at the enchantment table and taking his time going through, enchanting each item with its purple iridescence.
"What did you get?" you asked, jumping around him excitedly and he hovered over each item. "Respiration on the helmet, projectile protection and unbreaking, wait I got unbreaking as well?" he asked looking at you through the facetime "it does that sometimes" you shrugged and he raised his eyebrows and hummed with the newfound knowledge. "Those on chestplate, protection on the jeans-" "leggings" "whatever, and feather falling on the boots" he said putting all his armor back on and going over his tools "efficiency on the pickaxe, efficiency on the axe, unbreaking on the hoe, unbreaking on the shovel, and fire aspect on the sword" he said stabbing a chicken that immediately went up in flames. "Roast chicken for life!" you cheered.
"Okay you have your full diamond now come to the nether" you said standing in the swirling portal and Izuku whined. "Literally what for!" he asked standing next to you despite his disinterest and the loading screen popped up. "For that Xp, gotta get that nether quartz" you said jumping to a clump of nether quartz and letting the green spheres fall on you watching the bar go up. "(y/n) What's the bridge for?" he asked walking over to the bridge ignoring the magma slime jumping toward you.
"What bri- AGH FUCK NO NO YOU CUBE FUCKING BITCH THINK YOU CAN JUMP ON ME LIKE I'M SOME WHORE WHO DO YOU THINK I AM" (A real thing i've said playing minecraft with my friends) he turned around just as the magma divided into 4 then each of those into another 4 until there were none. "Don't go on that bridge you will absolutely die" you warned and he backed up onto the bridge anyway. You were surprised he even made it halfway before a ghast needed to tell him his place and shoot him right into the neon orange below. "YOUR FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT"
Bonus content
Kaminari, bakugo, and kirishima all joined the call loading up minecraft not expecting to get an earful of your abuse to Izuku who was crying into his controller "I FUCKING TOLD YOU NOT TO GO ON THE BRIDGE BECAUSE A GHAST WOULD KNOCK YOU OFF BUT WHAT DID YOU DO. GO ON THE BRIDGE. I LITERALLY JUST GOT YOU THOSE DIAMONDS ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME YOU BROCCOLI. I WASTED MY FORTUNE BUFF ON YOU."
You loved him really. But you would never be taking him to the nether again.
A/n: What is your relationship with Izuku here? That's for you to decide. Also these are all things that have happened to me while in minecraft with my friends.

i have ideas on how i think the wilbur resurrection should go. like, wilbur himself said that bringing someone back from the dead was near impossible because they didn't want to lessen the impact of the 3 death system. so, what if it takes a complicated ritual that is also super expensive.
basically a short short about the materials under the read more.
defying death isn't easy nor is it cheap. phil and eret knew that when they first started the research to bring wilbur back from the dead but to have it quantified in front of them? it would take a while.
phil and eret looked up from the book that dream had finally given up and then at each other. eret moved their eyes towards where fundy, tubbo, and tommy were all standing and raised their eyebrow. phil shook his head minutely and grimaced.
fundy noticed the exchange but said nothing. tommy and tubbo were too caught up in playing chopsticks to notice that phil and eret were done reading the ritual book.
tommy lost so he looked up and at the others. "whats the hold up?" he asked.
"its just," eret paused, "more expensive than i think we were expecting."
tubbo walked over to try and peak in the book but phil slammed it closed before he could. "well thats not suspicious," he said sarcastically.
"snooping hands get snooping punishments," phil replied easily.
tommy threw his hands in the ar and exclaimed, "we just want to help bring wilbur back! why won't you fucking let us?"
"yeah," tubbo chimed in, "let us help."
"well," eret hedged, "it's not that we don't trust you-"
tommy's eyes narrowed. "who said anything about trust," tommy said venomously, "traitor." tubbo placed a calming hand on tommy's arm and shook his head. tommy relaxed but continued to glare at eret.
"as i was saying," eret continued slowly, "it's just the distribution for who gets what items isn't going to be fair."
fundy spoke up from where he was quietly watching. "what does that mean?"
"we need a wither rose and 3 nether stars and i'd rather we leave that to phil." phil looked at them questioningly, but he let them speak. "we also need 5 totems of undying which means we need to talk to foolish. so fundy, you and i should handle that. but we also need a zombie head and 2 blocks of netherite."
"2 BLOCKS OF NETHERITE," tommy yelled. "2 FUCKING BLOCKS OF NETHERITE!"
tubbo winced. "2 blocks is a lot of netherite. are you sure?"
"yes, they're sure." phil spoke up. "i'm sorry eret, but why should i handle the wither rose and the nether stars?"
eret hissed slightly and tilted their head in apology. "i was hoping you would be able to convince technoblade to help you kill the withers and safely get a wither rose."
"uh, actually," fundy cut in, "i have a wither rose we can use." everyone looked at fundy while he looked down at the ground ashamed.
"the fuck?" tommy said.
"i was, uh, gonna give it to dream." he paused and sniffled, "before everything else happened."
phil crinkled his nose but looked at fundy worriedly. "are you sure about us using it for this?"
fundy kicked at the ground. "i should have gotten rid of the flower sooner but... i never did. this fucking works i guess." he shoved his hands in his pockets and looked away sadly.
philza raised his eyebrows at fundy's morose figure but he let it go and turned back to eret. "why should i ask techno help me?" he asked.
"because techno is the strongest in the land. he can protect you if the wither starts to overwhelm you." eret smiled sadly at tubbo and tommy and then looked down at the book in phil's hands. "plus, i think of this group, you are the only one not traumatized by withers."
tommy looked down at the ground shamefacedly. "so that leaves tubbo and i to get two blocks of netherite and a zombie head," he mumbled.
tubbo gently bumped against tommy and gave him a reassuring look. "we got this," tubbo said kindly. "we could even make a little competition out of who gets a netherite block first." tommy looked a little happier with the idea of a competition to break through the monotony of netherite mining.
fundy spoke up. "the totems won't be too hard to get, i think," he said. "once we have them, i'll help with the netherite and i'm sure eret will help as well."
eret walked over to fundy and grabbed him in a friendly headlock. "of course i'll help," they said. "just as a heads up, i may ask foolish to come help with the ritual."
fundy twisted and looked up at eret, "why?" he half whined, half asked.
"because," and eret squeezed tighter for a half second, "he's the father of all totems of undying. wouldn't it be better to have his blessing?"
tubbo shrugged and looked at tommy who also shrugged. "makes sense i guess."
phil whistled and everyone turned towards him. "so we all know what were going to do, right?" he looked at everyone and once they all nodded he continued, "let's meet in a week, here, to update each other on how it's going to with gathering all the materials." everyone nodded again and he smiled. "alrighty. i have to go make dinner so i'm going to head back now."
tommy waved to phil as he and tubbo turned to walk away. "it was good to see you again," tommy said calmly, "we'll see you in a week."
tubbo winked at phil, "tell ranboo i said hi, please!" and he started to walk backwards to keep looking at tommy while they were talking.
fundy watched their disappearing figures before he turned to phil and eret. "i know you're hiding something from us." both of them started to speak but fundy held his hand up to stop them. "i... i just don't have the energy to try and figure it out. you'll tell us eventually." he scoffed. "the truth tends to find it's way out there, one way or the other." with that said, he started to walk away as well. "buh-bye," he said as he waved over his shoulder.
"so..." eret hedged.
"so," phil replied.
eret sighed. "i'm not going to tell them." phil looked at them in suprise. "but!" eret continued quickly, "i don't think a sheep sacrifice is going to work."
phil shook his head. "from what other scraps of information i was able to gather," phil paused and talked quieter, "it takes a sacrifice of equivalent value."
eret inhaled sharply. "someone on their last life."
"yeah," phil said, "or someone with only one life."
"i think there's a long line of people who would tell you not to do that."
phil shrugged. "i took him out of this world, i should bring him back in."
eret laughed shortly. "you know, i don't think thats how that quote goes." phil shrugged and they stood in silence.
"i should go," phil said. "i'll see you soon eret."
"see you then." eret gave a two finger salute and started towalk away. they paused and said over their shoulder, "think about everyone you would leave behind, okay?"
phil said nothing.

A Million Nightmares and One Dream (Leon Kennedy x Reader)
Tumblr media
RE2make!Leon  Warning: Smut, Dry-humping, oral sex
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Have you ever had a nightmare? One that feels real? So real that you couldn’t figure out what was reality and what was not? Well, I have. I still am, actually.
It’s been two weeks since I’ve started running away from whatever the hell those things were. Two weeks trying to survive this hellhole of a place called Raccoon City, and two weeks praying that I would wake up from this nightmare...but I’m still not awake.
It made me question if I’m even asleep or not. Maybe I’m dead? Maybe I’m in another universe? Maybe my mind’s just going crazy? The answer I don’t know and I don’t think I’m going to get that answer anytime soon.
It’s never-ending. Whenever I close my eyes and open them again, I still see the same incubus in front of me: lifeless eyes that would stare back at me, pale and cold skin that would touch me every now and then, thick red liquid that would gush out from every part of their bodies, their growls that would destroy the eerie silence of the cold, dark night, their teeth digging into another person’s flesh as they mindlessly enjoy their gruesome meal, puddles and marks of blood that were scattered and smeared all over the city, the growing flames from vehicles that were crashed in every structure and fellow car, and the lack of light that made it a tad bit difficult to move around without being grabbed by any of those undead.
This had to be a nightmare, right? I had to be asleep. This isn’t possible...or is it?
It was hard running around, desperate to save my own life that’s at stake with barely anything to defend myself with. But despite that, there was this one thing, a person, perhaps, that came out of nowhere, just like those hellish monsters just roaming around, finding their next dinner, except this person wasn’t someone I was scared of, I was in love with him.
Leon Scott Kennedy, a rookie cop who was supposed to start his first day a week ago. He got a call from the police station to stay away from the city but his curiosity got the better of him and that curiosity got him involved in this nightmare.
During that shit-show we were in, we had been chased around by a fucking giant in a trench coat and fedora, met a woman who broke my heart by kissing the man I’ve caught feelings for and then betrayed us, almost got killed by a beast with a huge-ass eye on its right arm, and then we escaped the city using a train together with a little girl named Sherry and a college gal named Claire.
We found ourselves inside two hotel rooms with Claire and Sherry sharing one and Leon and I sharing the other. It felt kind of weird to me for some reason. I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I have feelings for and we’re literally in the same room. With one bed. We’re going to be sleeping next to each other!
Calm down, Y/N. You’re just going to sleep, nothing else.
It’s just...it doesn’t help that I’m in a tank top and underwear only with no pants or bra on while Leon was wearing a sweatpants with no shirt on and just went commando.
Get your shit together, Y/N! Tomorrow you’ll have a new set of clothes.
“Y/N?” Leon called mumbled my name beside me in a sleepy voice.
It’s been an hour I think since we got in bed and Leon immediately fell asleep in exhaustion as soon as his body flopped on the soft mattress while I didn’t...I couldn’t for some reason even though I’m very tired myself.
I turned my head around to look at the young man beside me who propped himself up before laying his upper body on my chest.
“What’s wrong?” He whispered in my ear, his hot breath fanning against my skin causing shivers to run down my spine and the little hairs on my neck to stand up. I let out a shaky sigh.
“Nothing. Just thinking”, I managed to breathe out after a few seconds of thinking about my response.
“About?”
You?
“Nothing you should be concerned about”, Leon lifted his head up and looked down at me with his eyebrows furrowed together.
“Now I’m more concerned”
“Leon”
“Y/N”, My E/C orbs began staring at his blue ones with the same intensity as the man on top of me, keeping myself from averting my gaze towards his plump lips that looked so soft.
Ada got lucky, huh?
Alas, my brain couldn’t take it anymore and just commanded my optics to shift my gaze towards his lips that were being moisturized by his saliva-covered tongue. I continued to stare at it for a few more seconds, admiring the art that I don’t know if I would be seeing again in front of me, before looking at Leon’s eyes again. They were half-lidded now, his orbs now focused on my own parted lips, just like what I did before.
Is he copying me?
Slowly, he began leaning down, his eyes still fixated on my mouth that began releasing more and more air as his head lowered itself more. My heartbeat was raising each millisecond and his hot breath was tickling my face.
Closer and closer...and then...
Our lips touched. It was like what I expected it to be: smooth and soft like a baby’s butt.
My hand found its way towards the nape of his neck before pulling him closer as I was enjoying the feeling of his lips moving against mine, his tongue dancing with my own in a smooth tango, and the sound of what we were doing bouncing off the walls surrounding us.
All of the horrors that’s been glued to our heads were gone in that moment. Vanished. Now we were in a dream, a dream we never wanted to escape from. A dream we wished was forever. But that’s impossible, just like how a nightmare always ends, and that’s why we made this dream the best we’ve ever had so far.
Leon pulled away and spread my legs before making himself comfortable in between them, his warms hands still planted on my knees.
“Is it okay if I do this?” Leon rolled his hips against mine, his cock that was covered by the slightly thick fabric of his sweatpants gliding smoothly against my my thin fabric-covered clit, the pleasing sensation causing me to close my eyes and bite my lip as a small gasp left my mouth. I nodded my head a few times until I heard Leon chuckle above me and roll his hips against mine again.
Leon leaned down again, not stopping his hip movements, before his lips flattened against my neck, lightly pressing kisses on every patch of skin that was exposed to him while my hands found its way on the back of his neck once more, this time, my fingers combed through his soft blonde hair and my hand lightly balled itself into a fist as his movements became faster and faster, causing a loud creaking sound to resonate throughout the small room as the bed below us began moving with Leon.
Leon groaned from above me, his lust-filled voice muffled by my skin as he proceeded to leave some love bites on my neck.
“I’m close, Y/N”
As soon as he said that, his actions grew quicker than before, his desperation to come undone flooding his head as he did so.
The pleased sounds coming from our mouths increased their volume with us not caring if there were other people hearing us from the other side of these thin walls. Leon’s groans became animalistic growls and my pitch became higher. My grip on Leon’s locks became tighter which only added to the hedonism he felt, the bittersweet sensation causing him to come fast and hard, his white fluids staining his grey pants.
When he noticed that I hadn’t come yet, he lowered himself down to where his head was peaking through the valley between my legs before looking at me softly.
“May I?”
I nodded my head as I bit my bottom lip that was bruise with all the kissing and biting we were doing, the anticipation rising as my thoughts scrambled inside my head, knowing what was bound to happen next.
Leon placed a sole kiss on the skin just above the brim of my underwear, his eyes still trained on me, before letting his teeth pin the thin cotton fabric between them and winked at me as he began sliding the material down my legs in an antagonizing pace.
“Leon”, I whispered sensually and hungrily, my tone reflecting on the need I was feeling.
Once the nether garments were off and were thrown out of the way, Leon shifted his focus towards the glistening wet lips just below my hips, his eyes slightly widened as he saw how wet I was but his astonished and amused look soon changed into something more lustful and concupiscent, his once blue orbs that were now mostly covered black indicating his own hunger.
The tip of his tongue finally touched my sensitive nub, my body jolting a little bit at the sudden action but nevertheless, it felt good, great even. He licked a long stripe from the bottom up until the tumescent pearl that’s been begging to be touched by the man between my legs.
My fingers found their way through Leon’s hair again, tugging it more and more as the sexual gratification grew more and more intense the closer I got to my high.
“Leon”
And now, it’s been nineteen years since that incident. Leon and I thought after escaping that hellhole that that was the end of it but nope. The government forced us to work for the USSTRATCOM and then after a few more years the new president recruited us to the new organization he found called the DSO and we’ve been sent to missions after missions involving B.O.W.s and the like.
The only good thing that happened throughout the years of fighting this bullshit was Leon and I got married! He proposed to me after finishing our mission in the Eastern Slav Republic and eventually got married a year later. Crazy, right? We didn’t have a kid though as we would only put him/her in danger but sex was still there, only had to take my pills regularly AND we actually adopted Sherry after getting out of Raccoon so that’s a plus.
“Hey, Chris!” Leon called the BSAA Silver Daggers’ captain’s name and watched as he turned his head around to face him.
“Yeah?”
“How long can we keep going on like this?”
“I don’t know. I never make plans that far ahead”, Chris replied as a soft smile tugged on his lips.
Leon just chuckled in response before looking at me and taking my hand, his fingers lacing with mine as he did so.
Yep. A million nightmares and one dream.

my baby (oh my pup)
Chapter 6: blood (we share)
Tasha has an accident. Techno acts accordingly.
They settled into a routine of farming and sewing and knitting. Techno had decided that walks were a little dangerous. At least, enough that Tasha should never be left alone or out of his sight. He wasn’t afraid. Tasha just needed protecting.
Techno woke one day, the sun shining. Tasha was asleep on his chest, grumbling when he pulled back the curtains to observe the weather. The snow wasn’t exactly melting, but it wasn’t any worse than the day before.
Out they went to the cold. The farm was growing well, if not a little too well.
“Here’s the first rule of potato farming, Tasha: fighting is the best way to keep a farm.” Tasha blinked a few times in disbelief, she reached a hand for Techno’s sheathed axe. “No! I meant… metaphorically! The weeds need to be pulled out. It’s like a battle between the crops and the weeds and we’re fighting on the potatoes’ side.”
“Just. Weed,” Tasha rolled her eyes. Fine, Techno rolled his eyes back, he’d keep his massive intellect to himself. One day she would come to appreciate his brains.
She tiptoed through the sprouts and to a weed. Both of her hands wrapped around the middle of the plant and tugged. Techno, having done that mistake before, caught her when she launched backward. The weed snapped in two, the roots staying firmly embedded in the dirt.
“You have to pull from the roots down at the base. Here,” he guided her hands down, “grab firmly but make sure to stand steady.” Together, they pulled and out came the root. One weed down, two fields left.
Techno chose to fill the silence: “The first time I farmed a potato, it was… a year and a half ago? It didn’t feel that long ago, wow,” Techno scratched the back of his head, “I got a little carried away, I guess you could say.”
“War?” Tasha asked after huffing a few breathes.
He helped her with a stubborn weed and ruffled her fluff up, “Yeah! Just like that. I needed these books and well… potatoes and I have always had a special
“Hey, man, don’t mess with the poor thing too much, it might keel over on us!” A half-rotten potato was plonked in reach. The lead dug into his snout, but the feeling of anything in his stomach was enough for him to ignore the rope burns.
relationship, so it felt fitting to go a little wild.”
A hand was placed over his and Techno paused his weeding. “Special?” the owner of the hand whispered. Her voice gargled and cracked halfway through. Was she sick-
Techno had spoken with the voices again.
Tasha repeated the word with the gargles and cracks, “Hey, kiddo, don’t do that to your voice,” Techno scolded softly. He took her hand in his and let her form her next sentence.
After chewing on her lip, she whined, “You. Do. Voice.”
Techno sighed internally, she had a point, but: “So? I’m responsible for you, I’ve gotta keep you safe.”
“Me. Keep. Techno. Safe,” Tasha declared. Techno only chuckled in response.
Back to the dirt, they resumed. The snow was kept at bay with the lantern sitting above the water on a fence, but that didn’t stop the process from being frigid. Techno had weighed the pros and cons of farming in a tundra, but underground was never his forte. L’Manburg potatoes never tasted right, more bitter and small than the bounties from his first farm.
Of course, the potatoes in Hypixel were almost perfect. Sleep had been a secondary need behind farming and getting more materials to farm faster. That was a time of… not fun, but of purpose. At the time, all Techno needed was purpose.
Watching Tasha out of the corner of his eye, Techno shrugged. She was a purpose Techno could live for, could fight for, could die- Techno coughed at the force of the voices.
Enough monologuing.
Techno went back to watching Tasha and for a moment, his heart leaped into his throat. Tasha wasn’t there.
He leaped up and brandished his sword, spun around, and there she was. Sitting by the fire, fingers unfurled at the flames, Tasha was staring at Techno, unblinking.
Trying to play it off and calm his racing heart, Techno needed to think of a solution. A plan of attack. Not against Tasha. Against her running off or getting hurt when he wasn’t paying attention.
He surveyed the two farms and the land that surrounded them. With the fire tucked by the cabin, it was a nice setup. Everything was close together… and perfect for a fence. Or a wall, but that would be rather ugly and Techno was not a skilled enough builder to make it otherwise.
The pile of wood under the spruce tree out front was finally getting put to use. All of the logs made a little over a stack of dark oak fences. He figured that since there wasn’t enough wood for a gate, Carl’s pen would be good enough of a gate. It was almost completely made of gates either way.
“Help?” Tasha asked while peering over his shoulder. Techno was in the middle of the assembly. She did have a point, Techno supposed as he fumbled around with the nails, wood, and hammer.
He handed over the pile of nails, “I’ll tell you when I need one, just follow along with me.”
She toddled along with him and gave him a nail when he asked. Soon the fence was almost done. They were only a few blocks away from the wall that would finish it off.
Techno leaned back to see if he was making a straight line- he was- and Tasha squealed. Twisting around, Techno watched in slow motion as the nails slipped from her grasp and into the snow. He stared as she scrambled to stop them from falling, tumbling to the ground herself. She stared into the snow, on her hands and knees.
Another squeal, this one panicked.
“Hey, kiddo, don’t worry about it,” he soothed and helped her up. Or he tried to, but she squealed harder at the touch. “Okay! No touching!” Techno yanked his hand back to his chest.
He breathed deep, trying to get the hyperventilating Tasha to copy.
There was a smell. Of blood.
Tasha sobbed when Techno’s eyes grew wide in understanding. “Tash, talk to me, show me, please,” Techno tried. She trembled in the snow and looked down at her left hand. Techno leaned in, not touching.
A nail, point up, had slid its way through the meat of her hand in between her thumb and rightmost hoof-ish finger.
Techno held in a hiss, he didn’t want to panic Tasha any more. Instead, he instructed, “Try to keep your hand still but don’t tense up,” Tasha whined, “I know it hurts, kiddo, I promise you’ll be good as new soon.”
Moving slowly, Techno telegraphed his movements and cradled her hand in his. Ooh, this was going to hurt real bad. He wished he could scoop her up into his arms, but chose not to incase the scoop hurt her more.
He led her by the hand back into the cabin. The whole way, Tasha sobbed, growing more hysterical as each step crunched in the bloodied snow. By the time they had made it to the first floor, Techno was having to hold her hand still from the tremors racking her body.
He left her on the carpet and scrambled for potions and wrappings… would she need stitches? Techno hoped that for her sake Tasha didn’t.
Finally, he had gathered his first aid and dumped it next to Tasha.
“I need to touch you again, Tasha. Is that alright?” She didn’t respond. Techno gnawed at his lip, this was bad. Was she in shock?
Either way, the nail needed to be treated.
He tried the breathing again, huffing loudly to a rhythm as he grasped her hand. “Three, two, one,” he yanked out the nail quickly and pressed gauze into the hole left behind.
Tasha quieted… immediately. Huh. She leaned into Techno’s side and he used his free arm to pull her closer. He pressed his snout to the top of her head and continued the rhythmic breathing. The metallic odor of blood was still there, but Tasha smelled like his rose soap, only a little of her ash Nether scent lingering.
With Tasha collapsed into his side, Techno kept her propped up and worked on her hand.
Techno had made those nails today, including the now bloody nail, so she wouldn’t have to worry about tetanus. Still, there was a hole punched through Tasha’s hand… so some worry was reasonable.
The wound was wrapped and the bleeding was mostly stanched.
“Tasha, I need you to wake up.” Techno gave her a light shove. She whined, opened her eyes, and whimpered. “You’ll feel fine, kiddo, just drink this, okay?” A potion of healing was passed over to her. She held it with one hand- she only had one hand. Techno coughed and took it back, unscrewing the cap, “Here you go.”
Her uninjured hand dunked in and got sucked into her mouth. The taste must have been hideous, as Tasha gagged around her hoofed fingers. The sound of flapping ears filled Techno’s stunned silence, “No! Bad!”
Techno frowned, “Tasha, it’ll fix you right up.” He didn’t get it, it was gold. Tasha was just being a picky eater. The texture or something was probably off. He could have sworn he had done the recipe right.
When Tasha made no moves to continue, Techno rolled his eyes: there was always this trick, “Fine, I guess I’ll drink this delicious potion myself.” He raised it to his snout and just as he expected, Tasha squealed. “Oh, you want it now?”
“Give,” a pause, “Meanie.” Techno gasped, the hand not holding the potion coming up to shield his eyes from this atrocity. From under the hand, Techno listened to Tasha slurping and… gagging. Hmm, yeah. He’d need to work on that, whatever that was.
The potion bottle was eventually licked clean: ew. Techno shoved it into a stray chest, he’d either clean or throw it out later.
Tasha’s face was still tear-stained.
Techno chewed at his lip and tugged an ear, “Tasha… you wanna tell me what the freak out was? Cause I know it hurt but that was… horrible.”
“Sorry.” Tasha whispered, “Not. Meant. To.” She shuffled from hoof to hoof, eyes to the Pig Throne. “Not. Mean…. Think. Past. So. Hard.”
“You remembered something?”
Tasha tried out the word, “Remembered…” her voice trailed off, “Not. Matter.” A hesitant smile appeared on her face, and she turned back to Techno. “Back. To. Fun,” was her declaration.
Techno sighed in relief and smiled back, “That’s good.” But with a quick glance at her bandaged hand, “Fun is going to have to wait, though.” Tasha’s face dropped into something crushed, “You didn’t do anything wrong!” he hurried out, leaning in to cup her face in his hands, “We need to let that hand of yours rest for a little while.”
She leaned into his palms, eyes closing. Techno cooed at the sight. Little baby.
The moment broke apart when Tasha’s stomach grumbled. Techno’s joined in. “It’s food time, can you get up on your chair, or do you need help?” It was practically a high chair. Tasha attempted to clamber onto it but did a grabby hand at Techno when she slid back to the floor. “Okay, I gotcha.”
Up she went and into her Pig Throne.
Mid munch of a potato, she paused, her cheeks full. A finger raised up in a gimme a second motion, and she paled. The sheet white melded into slime green. Techno swallowed his carrot and scrambled for a bucket, getting it under her mouth just in time. Out came her lunch and breakfast.
As Tasha retched, Techno held her forehead up, stopping her from tipping into her own sick. “Let it all out, it’s okay,” Techno murmured. This was bad, to say the least.
One more retch and all of her bile was spat out. The smell was horrendous, but Techno still tried to get a good look at her, “Do you feel any better, kiddo?” Tasha whined and brought up a hand to wipe at her mouth. Techno grabbed her a napkin instead.
“Bad. Potion.” Her eyes were even more wrecked, bloodshot and teary. She was sweating, her fur plastered to her forehead. Techno pushed the bucket over to the other side of the table, waving the smell away.
“I hear you now, Tasha,” at least enough to know that they needed a solution if she hated the taste that bad. Her hand would need regular maintenance, especially as Healing was no longer an option.
When he reached out to scoop her, her bones turned to jelly, collapsing into his arms. Techno worried his lip and planted a soft kiss onto her forehead, murmuring, “You can sleep now, pup, I’ll take care of you.”
He undressed her and helped her into a downy blue shirt, one of his. It was oversized, but that would just add to the comfortableness, Techno mused. She didn’t snuggle into the sheets like she normally did, but Techno tucked the comforter around her nonetheless.
Techno grabbed a rag and soaked it in the water from the bath, laying it over Tasha’s forehead. He stood above her sleeping form, not quite waiting, but rather hoping.
A single tear slipped from his eye, down his cheek, and splashed onto the rag. Techno choked on a ragged gasp and stumbled back far enough to hit the door to the bathroom. His hand grasped wildly for the handle and when it opened, he collapsed into the room. The thud was mute to his ears.
His vision tunneled, the voices crescendoing back to life.
He should have listened to her when she first gagged. Forcing her to drink it was cruel, no matter his intentions. And even then, she should have never been holding the nails to begin with. Tasha’s a baby, a little pup, they never have coordination, not enough to catch- Techno forgot to tell her to not grab for falling sharps. It was basic safety, basic information that Techno should have shared. Unless he wanted her to get hurt, but he did not because he cared for Tasha, but his reckless actions pointed to otherwise, and Techno has always been a pig of fact, yet when something presents itself as simple as being a teacher to a child- and he had acted like a teacher for a bit- he can’t even do that. He promised to keep her safe.
And he failed.
Techno dug the heels of his palms into his eyes, stars bursting into his vision. But the blood that spilled from her hand still sloshed around in his brain, the scent of iron filled his snout, making him gag and yack onto the floor in between his knees.
The smell of his own vomit brought him back. Back to the bathroom, back to the door open to show their bed, back to a grabby hand reaching out to him, back to…
Tasha.
He shouldn’t- no, he could not drag himself back into the pit he had been fighting off for an hour, for a week, for a lifetime- he could not.
So picked himself off of the floor, stepped around the puddle of bile, and shut the door behind him.
“Sorry, Tasha,” he held her hand in his, sitting on the edge of the bed, “I had to wash my hands. You’re a little stinky right now,” he chuckled dryly.
A weak giggle murmured its way through the wool. Techno pulled the blanket back, revealing a bleary-eyed Tasha. He squeezed her hand and she pulled out of his. Techno mourned the loss, but when she gave his face a few pats, he gave a real smile. When she yawned Techno pulled the covers back up and slid off the bed and onto the floor. Tasha would get the bed tonight.
He sat onto the floor and rested his head on the mattress. His right arm became his pillow and his left hand was clasped around Tasha’s uncovered hand.
Techno would figure this all out later. For now, Tasha would get her well deserved rest, and Techno, there was nothing in the world that would take him away from her. So he watched the blankets rise and fall with each breath she took and drifted.

-January 5th, Thaumaturge’s Journal, Entry 43-
Okay, so I cheated a little bit by looking up how to get void seeds on the internet, they’re a drop from collapsing flux rifts, and they’re also the only thing that counts as something native to the void, so I finally have to go deal with the flux rift I made back whenever I made that.
In order to close a flux rift, I need a causality collapser, the infusion process required to make one of these has an instability of “very high”, which is the highest instability of any infusion process I’ve seen, so I fully expect something to go wrong.
Oddly, the only bad things that happened were me taking a bit of damage, and one of my stabilizers producing a bit of flux, which means that something was going to go wrong, but the stabilizer stopped that from happening.
I did put a bunch more redstone inlays down before doing this, since I read in The Book that the inlays provide a little bit of stability, and to make sure they’re set up symmetrically.
I forget if I ever said this, but you want to keep your infusion altar as symmetrical as possible, because that improves it’s stability, the locations of the ingredients don’t need to be symmetrical.
Just for reference, here’s what the flux rift looks like now.
Tumblr media
It hasn’t grown much since I made it, since it’s far enough away from my base that the chunk it’s located in is only loaded when I go over to it.
I expected it to make a huge crater when I blew it up, but terracotta is pretty blast-resistant, so it didn’t damage the landscape too much.
I now have 7 void seeds.
Now that I’ve unlocked the eldritch tab, I have also gained some warp, though I expected to gain more than 3 pixels on my sanity checker.
I have a feeling everything in the eldritch tab will give me some amount of warp, so I’d like to explain how warp actually works.
There are 3 types of warp, temporary, normal, and permanent.
Temporary warp goes away on it’s own, over time, and using sanity soap will get rid of all of it at once.
Normal warp doesn’t go away on it’s own, using sanity soap has a chance to get rid of some of it, this chance is increased by standing in purifying fluid made from purifying bath salts, or the warp ward status, which is obtained from purifying fluid.
Permanent warp just never goes away, once you have it, you cannot get rid of it.
Occasionally, warp will cause various bad things to happen to you, like causing flux flu, which increases the vis cost of foci, or making explosion sounds that only you can hear, these events get worse as your warp increases, the 2 I listed are pretty low-level events.
The severity of warp events is actually determined by an invisible “effective warp” variable, which increases to your current warp level whenever you gain warp, but decreases over time, eventually dropping all the way to 0.
If you look on your sanity checker, it could show that the entire warp meter is filled, meaning that you have a LOT of warp, but if you’ve gone a long enough time without actually gaining any, you won’t suffer from any warp events, since your effective warp is 0.
Basically, warp will get better over time, but it’s still there, and if you gain even a slight amount of it, you’ll start feeling its full effects again.
Hopefully that explanation makes sense.
Anyway, I just gained some warp, so my effective warp should now be around a quarter of the way up my sanity checker, since that’s how much warp I have.
I gained a little bit more upon researching void seeds, the void syphon, and the primal crusher, and now my warp is a little bit more than a quarter up my sanity checker.
According to The Book, the void syphon allows me to get void seeds by harvesting energy from a flux rift without completely destroying it, but it costs a nether star to make, so I can’t make one right now.
Also according to The Book, the primal crusher is a tool that works like both a pickaxe and a shovel, but looks like neither, apparently it’s also unpleasant to hold, it has warping 2 on it, so I think just holding it may give me warp.
I apparently have 100% eldritch completion now, despite not having researched the voidseer’s pearl or void thaumaturge armor yet.
Yeah, there’s only 5 things in the eldritch tab, here’s a picture of the eldritch tab.
Tumblr media
The purple effect around a thing means researching that thing will give you warp, as you can see, everything in the eldritch tab has this.
I’d like to see what new stuff has been unlocked in the other tabs.
Void metal material studies has been unlocked in golemancy, which I now have 100% in despite not having completed this.
The void metal essentia smeltery was the last thing in alchemy, which I also now have 100% in despite not having completed this.
I won’t actually consider myself finished with golemancy, alchemy, or eldritch until I actually research everything in those tabs.
There’s nothing new in auromancy, artifice, or infusion, though I expected that from artifice, since I already had 100% completion there.
To make void metal stuff, I obviously need void metal, which can be made by adding 10 metallum and 5 vitium to a void seed in the thaumatorium.
Scanning void metal allowed me to complete void metal material studies, thus completing the golemancy tab.
Since I need theory points towards eldritch for most of the new research that’s been unlocked, I temporarily moved my research table near my nether portal, since I saw that portals can be used as research aides for eldritch research while looking online for ways to get void seeds, I gained a substantial amount of warp from this, but most of it is temporary, so it’s not too much to worry about, then again, my warp level now takes up around 2/3 of my sanity checker, so maybe it is.
I researched the void metal essentia smeltery, which doesn’t give warp when researched, and I have now completed the alchemy tab.
According to The Book, it’s more efficient than the thaumium one, but not as fast.
I think I’ll stick with my thaumium smeltery.
Waiting for my temporary warp to go away is taking a while, so I’ll make a bar of sanity soap to get rid of it quicker.
I think I’ll stop playing now, I’ve written a lot here, this journal entry is getting pretty long, and I don’t want it to get too long.
-End Journal Entry 43-
