Ok while I've seen Sam and Paulina working out their differences through talking it out or saving-danny's-undead-butt in fanfiction, I've get to see them working out their differences through a hobby that imo I feel like they both enjoy:

Shopping. Maybe shopping for makeup?

Paulina canonically is a girly girl and loves Girly Hobbies™️ like shopping, doing her nails, makeup, etc. While Sam doesn't like shopping for the same clothes Paulina does, and she'd probably be against fast fashion and would stick to thrifting, she is a Goth Girlie™️ and is canonically pretty fashionable for a goth girl in the DP Universe. Also, Sam wears makeup too!

Anyway, I'd love to see a situation where they'd need to work out their differences via Girly™️ hobbies like fashion or makeup where at first they'd be sort of annoyed at each other, and then one of them picks up something and the other just can't help herself and would go, "NOPE put that down" *grabs something else* "THIS suits you SO MUCH BETTER" and it's actually something in the other person's style, and then slowly throughout the day they gain appreciation for each other's styles and start finding shopping with each other to be fun. And maybe then at the end of the day they go home and attempt to do each other's makeup and are all giggly about it.

as someone who's read quite a lot of bl and gl manga, i can't begin to tell you how pale it is in comparison to the "totally not gay" shounen characters who are out there obsessing over each other 24/7, spending nearly every waking moment trying to outdo or impress one another, and have literally been chained together by fate whether they like it or not.
