I'm pretty sure that Homura's first kiss with Madoka was a complete disaster. Homura almost fainted from nervousness and Madoka didn't know whether to laugh or despair when Homura gave her a headbutt instead of a kiss (Homura was very nervous ok) (homura always randomly remembers this sometimes and almost dies)

Watching the AO3 top ship finals go down (here it is), and the amount of people talking about how the mlm ship (not naming it, in case I get dragged for having an opinion) deserves to win because it’s a part of Tumblr history is just… ridiculous.

Like, that is absolutely correct, but why exactly did it become a part of Tumblr history? Why has Tumblr had an obsession with non-canon (this particular ship is canon, though, but it seemed like a last minute decision from the writers) mlm ships, whilst ignoring any potential wlw ones?

ok so I dont remember if I've ever mentioned it here, but Io and Kasmeer dated when they were teenagers, which made lws1 kind of awkward in a very funny way

so like the context is they start dating at like I dunno 15ish and they last for a while for a teen relationship. over a year. but they don't break up, thatd be simple and normal. no, iovara goes missing on her 17th birthday and is presumed dead some months later so Kas is dealing with the fact that her first serious relationship with a woman ended with the other girl dying. Io isn't actually dead, she's been kidnapped by and is being experimented on by the white mantle, something that deals with a complicated family history for Io, but like no one outside the white mantle knows that, so when, on her 18th birthday, shes left for dead in an alleyway and found by a troup of weirdos (Lace and their friends) who take her in and help her get her feet under her, no one is looking for her anymore

she doesn't reach out to anyone because a lot of her ties were to noble families her dad was working for and around and she kinda blames him for what happened so shes not talking to him or going to say "hi I'm alive actually" so instead she starts a new life which leads her to the vigil and to becoming pact commander all on accident. and like she looks different at 19-20 then she did at 16 so Kas doesnt recognize her and doesnt have time to look to close anyway at the new pact commander, until she's working with Marjory and Jory is like "hey I want you to meet this person who's helping us on the case, Iovara Durand" and Kas is just like wait what the fuck but she's supposed to be dead

so Kas is sitting here with her new girlfriend, staring at her late girlfriend who is somehow still alive and now working with her new girlfriend and why didn't Io ever call her up or say anything it's been years she thought she was dead!!! and Io's standing there like "oh fuck I have a crush on both of these women" while Kasmeer yells at her and Marjory is just kind of stunned

and like they don't get back together but theres a lot of awkward sexual and romantic tension between Kas, Io, and Marjory during the detective episodes of s1 and I think it's extremely fucking funny
