do you think Zoro would drunk garden with me? I've been drunk gardening for the past 2 hrs. but the thing is, I'm making these garden beds called hugelkultur where you dig a bunch of shallow graves for your enemies and fill them with rotting logs and stick and compost and I've fallen into them like 10x..... there's like 20 of these shallow 3x6 graves and my dumbass keeps forgetting about them.... if only Zoro was home from the pirate life to help me up.
#i know he would bc hes my wife and we drunk garden together sll the time#when hes not pirating#anyways the harvest will be bountiful#...nxt yr#hugelkultur is an art and i guess it will take 1-3yrs for them to fully take off#but its economic!!!#the rotting wood feeds and waters your plants for 3-10yrs#our will have a life expectancy of 3-5yrs bc were using a medium density wood#that's not fully rotted#yeehaw#i downed like 5 shots of that pink whitney and just gardened my ass off#and fell a lot#there's a lot of holes....#and sticks.....#and logs#and compost

The 7 R’s of Sustainability:
Did you know that ‘recycling’ is step 6 of the 7 Rs of sustainability? The other R’s are just as important even if they are often forgotten.
Rethink- Do I really need to buy this? The point of this step is to stop and think.
Refuse- Does this product damage the environment? If so, refuse to spend your money on it. i.e. single use plastics, harsh chemicals
Reduce- How much of this do I really need? Buy less! Buy in bulk when you can as it often equals less packaging to throw out.
Reuse- Can I use this product again? Can I fix what I have so that I don’t need to buy something new? Reuse that plastic water bottle a few times. And instead of buying new, try thrift shopping, flea markets, yard sales etc.
Repurpose- Unlimited creativity! Does this item have another use? i.e. old torn clothes can be rags or plastic cups can be planters.
Recycle- Can I recycle this? Not everything can be. There are also some important steps to making sure your recycling is done properly. If unsure, look up local recycling regulations.
Rot- Can I compost this? Food waste, yard clippings, newspapers and many other items can be composted instead of being tossed in the trash. Composting is surprisingly simple and helps reduce harmful greenhouse gasses from entering the atmosphere.
What is the point of the R’s? The number one benefit of the 7 R’s are the reduction of the amount of waste sent to incinerators and landfills. The EPA website provides a lot of useful information. Other benefits that we can reap from implementing these concepts in our life are (as listed on the EPA website): • Prevents pollution caused by reducing the need to harvest new raw materials • Saves energy from not making a new product • Reduces greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change • Helps sustain the environment and natural resources for future generations • Saves money from processing our waste • Increases economic security by tapping a domestic source of materials • Helps create jobs in the recycling and manufacturing industries in the United States

Hasbro, owner of Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, lays off 1,100 workers
The corporate owner of Wizards of the Coast (maker of D&D and Magic) announced it will lay off 1100 employees just two weeks before Christmas. Hasbro had already fired 800 workers in January of this year.
At the time, CEO Cocks trumpeted the new corporate plan: focus on fewer and larger brands, increase digital development, and invest in direct-to-consumer and licensed deals like Baldur's Gate 3, demonstrating his disconnect with customers.
Cocks first became Hasbro CEO in February 2022, and now gets an annual salary of $1.5 million. While the company's income dropped and 800 workers went jobless, this one executive received $9.4 million in total compensation last year, an amount that could have saved many creative jobs if even slightly trimmed. Instead, 1100 more actual workers will go.
No reduction in executive salary, bonuses, or additional compensation was announced.

Ed being so open and brave and saying ‘You wear fine things well’, letting Stede know he still wants him too. Ed leaning toward Stede and kissing him. Ed setting the pace and asking to take it slow, letting Stede know he was listening and he isn’t being prone so his whims in that moment. Making it clear that he’s serious about what they are doing. He’s still all in.

The richest 1 percent have more wealth than the bottom 95 percent of the world’s population put together, new Oxfam analysis of UBS data reveals today ahead of the annual UN High-Level General Debate. Billionaires are exerting new levels of control over economies, with a billionaire either running or the principal shareholder of more than a third of the world’s top 50 corporations. The combined market capitalization of these corporations is $13.3 trillion. Oxfam’s briefing paper “Multilateralism in an Era of Global Oligarchy” warns that multilateral efforts to respond to critical global challenges, including the climate crisis and persistent poverty and inequality, are being undermined by the ultra-wealthy and mega-corporations fueling inequality within and between countries. Despite being home to 79 percent of the world’s population, Global South countries own just 31 percent of global wealth.

“When a fellow fairy dies, we plant a small ring of their favorite flowers and burry them in the middle. Once grass grows over the grave, we erect a special statue made from stone that honors something the deceased loved. We have a celebration when we raise the statues, feasting and dancing, all in the name of the fae who passed.”
“Whoa… that’s really thoughtful. You fairies love to be elaborate. Us borrowers have to be sneaky, we can’t have big funerals. And we don’t typically do burials, there’s no where to really burry people inside.”
“So, what does your kind do with their dead?”
“Garbage disposal, usually.”
#g/t#death mention#death tw#idk what other tws to put on this#ive made this joke before and ill make it again. its so funny to me#the inverse of this joke would be like. fae putting their dead in a compost bin.#get composted idiot
