i think something that a lot of people don't get about tfp starscream is that this bot is surprisingly tough.

is he a conniving bastard? yes. does he beg for megatron to not kill him whenever something goes wrong? yes. but he has gone through so much bullshit and lived. keep in mind, when he went rogue, he was completely on his own. his clones turned against him, he had his tcog stolen from him, he was running on an energon deficiency, and he didn't have nearly as many resources as he did while he was working with the decepticons, and yet HE was the one who managed to get all four of the omega keys in his possession. he wouldn't have been able to accomplish any of that if his immediate instinct was to beg for mercy or give up.

starscream is a lot of things, but weak is not one of them.

So uh...today just went from “good” to bad because while I was driving to the mall, I accidentally hit some debris that was on the road and cracked my front fender (thankfully it’s still attached and didn’t come off or that would be REALLY BAD).  Thankfully I’m not hurt and it didn’t crack my pan, but still...this is like my first “accident” and I am feeling terrible.  So if you could send me good vibes or encouragement or anything, I would appreciate it...because now my nerves are shot and I know my anxiety is gonna be through the fucking roof

Women should not have to be perfect, scarless, heart-faced dainty creatures in order to be considered attractive. Hell, they shouldn’t have to be considered attractive at all in order to be considered engaging, respectable, and likable.

At the core of it all, no—It isn’t immediately hurting anyone that these people are modding their games. But it really is indicative of the kind of person you are if you look at Karlach and feel the need to remove her scars (a CENTRAL part of her character and design) in order to make your game more enjoyable. It really is indicative of the kind of person you are if you feel the need to make your female cast more conventionally feminine and perfect and smooth before you can interact with them or, god forbid, romance them.

Like… No one can stop you from doing it, but I personally can (and will) judge you for it. You kind of deserve it. I don’t know what to tell you except to grow up and learn to have better, more diverse (and more realistic) taste.

thank you! 💙💙💙 Leia/Leah/Lea/whatever is fascinating to me. she is the ultimate unknown. what was she like? how involved (or even aware of any details of the invasion) was she? Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.

actually you know what, as long as we're here, I think I WILL go ahead and just make some stuff up about what Silver might've inherited from her instead.
