“If somebody doesn’t care, then nothing’s gonna get better?” For kids their age, they caught onto things well. Or it’s the fact Luigi has explained every waking detail of this book even though they 100% didn’t understand the worldly concepts connected to the writings.

“That’s right, so suppose something’s not right in your life, you have to care a lot about it to actually fix it. You can say ‘yeah, I want to be better about this,’ but never do anything. It can also mean about different timeline movements that changed our world today. Like racial equality, or women’s rights. If no one ever actually cared enough to change those things, do you think the world would be how it is?”

“No.” The youngest says. He’s only three-years-old so his vocabulary was still a work in progress. 

“I don’t think so dad.” The older boy murmurs from his bed.

“You’re right,” he began, until your older boy interrupted. “Dad, do you think when Dr. Seuss was  writing that he was thinking about the world we live in rather than the one he created?” His voice was pitchy, and he stumbled on a few words, but for a five-year-old it was rather impressive – even to you.

Luigi smiled at that, he was so proud his boy was learning, soon the youngest would pick up on it too, he was just too little right now. He only liked the drawings – a very simple boy. “Absolutely, kiddo. “They let it grow!!” Your oldest giggles. He really liked the book, but Luigi recently introduced them to the animated film, and he adored the music the most.

“They let it grow indeed.” He smiles.

Luigi flipped through the final two pages, gently shut the book and gazed over his sons. They gave him cheesy grins as he sat the book on a small shelf by the bedside, your oldest scurried back to his bed across the room, while the youngest admired his father – and for a moment his eyes flicker to you.

You winked at him before Luigi gave them both goodnight kisses. In unison their youthful voices, “Night daddy!” 

“Goodnight you two, get lots of sleep. I love you.”

“Love you too!” 

“Wuv you!”

Luigi chuckled, and turned off their lamp, leaving only the illumination from a small dinosaur night light you bought when your first was born. You waited outside, causing Luigi to jump slightly when he shut the door. “You’re always lurking around, y’know that?”

You chuckle, “yes, how cruel of me… Those kids are going to be able to repeat that book word for word one day.”

When Mortarion's child starts acting up, there's no shouting. No long arguments dragging on until they are both screaming their heads off. Instead, he ignored them. Sure, he might send them to their personal chambers or give them more training exercises as punishment, but not once does he raise his voice at them. In fact, the more they rebel and talk back, the less he talks to them. Mortarion distances himself, hoping that by giving them space, they will eventually calm down on their own. He doesn't realize how abandoned they end up feeling. They think he no longer cares about them.

Fulgrim does not understand why his child is suddenly being so difficult. They used to happily follow him around, listen to his every word and did as he said without question. Things had been good. But something has changed. Where before they had sought his time, his attention, it was now as if they were now avoiding him. And when Fulgrim takes them with him to events, they looked downright frustrated, radiating a thinly veiled aura of annoyance. They don't even show him their art anymore! He likes their art. Fulgrim gets frustrated and even angry when they act up, mostly because he just does not understand why they are suddenly distancing themself from him.

So. Much. Shouting. Angron does not want to lay hands on his kid but when they talk back, when they don't listen to him, his temper flares as the nails in his head urges him to violence and the only way to release some of the pressure is to shout. And his kid shouts right back, unafraid of him. Part of Angron can't help but feel a bit proud, even as his face twists into a snarl. Because while they might argue, fight, his kid trusts him. They are not afraid of him. 'Old man' they call him and while it's disrespectful, Angron much prefers it to being called a butcherer or a monster.

It takes a while for Magnus to realize that his child is deliberately skipping lessons. One or two missed can be excused, but when a dozen? Something has to be going on. But when he questions them, they don't have an answer. At least not an answer that Magnus accepts and he tells them as such. This leads to an argument and before Magnus knows it, his child is storming away, their psychic presence practically a storm of negative feelings. And for once, Magnus is utterly clueless as to just what he did wrong.

Perturabo is furious. He's a perfectionist that demands obedience and so, when his child starts talking back and rebelling against him, it feels like a personal insult. A grievous slight. So, in retaliation, he becomes even harsher on them. Perturabo doesn't let up on them even once, every day is scheduled and they are watched by space marines and serfs alike that will immediately report to him if they step out of line. The relationship Perturabo has with his child becomes outright antagonistic at points as he does his best to break them down so he can build them up again into something proper.

Neither Alpharius nor Omegon can be described as "helicopter parents" but that doesn't mean that the child can't feel smothered all the same. Privacy, true privacy, is very rare, as both the Primarchs have the intense need to know everything. The child rebells and acts out because they feel like they constantly being watched and have no real personal freedom. Alpharius and Omegon try to give them space but they just can't let up on their old habits, which makes the kid feel even more frustrated.

Once upon a time, Lorgar's child would listen intently and with wide eyes as he told them about the divine. So eager to learn, to follow in his footsteps. But as they got older, they started to... lose interest. Lorgar only really started to worry though when they outright started to question their faith, question the existence of the holy. He tries to be patient, tries to keep their faith alive but it grates on him, frustrates him, when they refuse to listen. Still, he's determined to see this through and is confident that this is but a phase, a test for both of them and in the end they will remain a firm believer, just like him.

Horus is used to being liked, especially by those he considers family. He's his father's favorite son, the responsible older brother, the caring father. But recently, the one who used to adore him the most, his very own child, have started to act like they can't stand him. They roll their eyes when he speaks, they barely engages in conversation with him and then prefer to stay cooped up in their room rather than spend time with their father. Horus does not understand, can't relate or compare this to anything he's ever gone through. Ends up invading upon his child's space and privacy in his attempts to close this growing gap between them, something that only serves to frustrate them more.

Konrad does not handle it well. He's always been protective of his child, kept them close and in a place where he knows they'll be safe. To others, it might have seemed excessive, almost smothering, but Konrad had seen it as a necessity. When his child had been little, they accepted this as just another part of life, not knowing anything else, but now that they've started to grow up... they want more. They are no longer satisfied with the carefully gilded cage their father have built around them. Konrad, in an almost desperate effort to keep them safe, tries to limit their freedom, tries to stop them from leaving. This, of course, his child does not like. Not when they have heard about the world outside that's so close they can almost taste it. So they argue, they fight and the whole time, Konrad feels like he's losing the one good thing in his life. It makes him dig his claws in harder in a desperate attempt to keep them safe.

It's hard for Sanguinius. On one hand, he doesn't want to control his child, make them feel like he's smothering them. They are growing up and they won't be his little one forever. He needs to accept that. But on the other, Sanguinius doesn't want to let go. It's selfish of him but the thought of them leaving the nest one day, it scares him. What if he loses them? What if they leave and decide to never come back? Sanguinius has foreseen his own death but the thought of drifting away from his child scares him more than any vision of the future ever could.

Corvus notices the change immediately but rather than trying to do something about it, rather than talking with his child, he withdraws. Part of him understands that this is just a natural part of growing up but the rest of him feels, for the lack of a better word, hurt. He's always had this close bond with his child, this deep understanding, and seeing it seemingly fray and whittle away is near unbearable to him. But Corvus feels like there's nothing he can do to stop it, that it was inevitable, so he withdraws, stops spending as much time with his child, barely even talking to them. He watches them from a distance instead, waiting for them to make the first move to reconnect.

Ferrus has prepared for this moment. Kinda. If by prepared you mean 'send the kid away for proper training until they calm down' then yeah, he prepared. His kid either goes to learn under the adeptus Mechanicus or they start their space marine training. This is basically the modern equivalent to sending your kid to boarding school for a few years. It's for their own good but Ferrus won't lie and say that avoiding the problem played no part in this decision. He knows he's not good with the more emotional aspect of parenting so not trying is better than trying, right? Right?

Now, contrary to what some might assume, Rogal went through a rebellious phase when he was of similar age to his child. Granted, his 'rebellious' acts consisted of staying up late to finish his blueprints and engaging in arguments with construction workers regarding work efficiency and safety. Nonetheless, Rogal understands on some level what his child is going through which makes him more lenient. He still disciplines them when they act out but he also gives them more freedoms compared to before because he knows that, while rebellious, they are also becoming more mature and responsible.

In Vulkan's eyes, his child will always be just that; a child. HIS child. His little one. They might grow up big and strong but he can't help it, whenever he looks at them he sees the child that demanded stories before bedtime and struggled to pick up his tools. So even when they act out, even when they backtalk and act like the grouchy teenager they are, he doesn't get mad. Maybe a tad disappointed at times but he always gets over it. Endlessly patient with them but his seeming refusal to take their tantrums seriously makes his child feel frustrated, especially when the only thing they want is a reaction.

Lion thought that parenting would get easier as his child got older. Children are... messy. Nonsensical. Driven purely by emotion and whim. As hard as Lion had worked to instill discipline and order into his child from an early age, he had assumed that it would all pay off in the end. That they would act like an El'Jonson. Instead, they had gotten mouthy. Rebellious. They challenged everything he said, ignored what they didn't like, disobeyed clear orders. Yet no matter how hard Lion tried to discipline them, what punishments he dealt them for their insubordination, it never seemed to stick. If anything, it only made them worse. But Lion is just as, if not more, stubborn than them and refuses to back down. So, the fights continue.

At first Leman finds it funny. Aww, look at his lil pup, growing up and being all angsty about it. How cute! It becomes less cute when, after an intense argument, he's got them in a headlock because they tried to bite his nose off. Still, Leman has the opinion and belief that, the best way to work through all these developing feelings of theirs is through some good old character building. By that he means dropping in the Fenrisian wilds and letting them fend for themself for a while. Might seem a bit extreme to some but Leman did it when he was their age and he turned out just fine!

Jaghatai, while he doesn't take any disrespect, is actually quite alright with his kid growing into this phase. He understands that this is a crucial moment in their development, when they form an integral sense of self, and they can't do that if he coddles or hover over them. They need space. So, he mostly lets them run free, though he does set a clear line of boundaries that he expects them not to cross, make it clear that they are responsible for the consequences of their actions and that he wants them to still behave with dignity. That means no whining or brooding in the mess hall!

The moment Roboute realizes that his kid is entering their rebellious teen phase, he goes straight to mama Euten and papa Konor and asks them for advice. Because he tried to discipline his child after they ditched their lessons to spend time with their friends but all they did was repeat what he said with a mocking tone. It completely caught him off guard. Like, how does he respond to that? Roboute is so awkward around his kid during this period of time but he genuinely tries to understand them.

Satan is an excellent observer. You pull away from him, brush his hands off your shoulders, keeping a certain distance. He’ll adjust, but he watches closely—are you doing it out of fear, or do you simply dislike it? His response depends on that. Once he’s sure you’re truly avoiding touch, he’ll confront you. He wants to know why you’re so distant—and he wants to assure you that you’re safe with him. You don’t need to change. He’ll respect your space. But he needs to know that everything’s okay. By the way, Satan is such a big cat. I don't believe you can resist that fluffy mane when he's sleeping. Since he sleeps with his eyes open, sometimes he will pretend just for you to pet him.

Mammon understands you don’t want to be touched, but somehow he can’t grasp that your no-touch zone includes your ass. His hand has a mind of its own. Unfortunately, kicking him might break your heel, so at first, it’s best to keep your distance. Over time, he’ll learn. After all, whatever his Master wants is law. Besides, the more unattainable a treasure, the more valuable… and he can’t help that your unreachability just turns him on in even more.

Leviathan sees it as a major advantage and a sign of good manners. Maybe you’re not as hopeless as you first seemed. While he’ll outwardly seem content, a swirl of thoughts will race in his mind that he won’t let himself express. Has someone hurt you this badly, too? Without even fully realizing it, he’ll feel an instinct to protect you. As long as you don’t let anyone else touch you, he’ll be content, but if he sees any exception—one that isn’t him… hanging would be too gentle as a punishment. He has his own monsters for just such occasions.

Beel doesn’t know what “personal space” means. From ancient Sumerian to modern English, you won’t find words that could dissuade him from touching. In fact, as you’re explaining it to him, he’ll be hanging on you and nodding eagerly. Not that he understands a thing. If you start avoiding him, he’ll think it’s some twisted game of tag. But he’s got some sense in his head, and if he sees you starting to feel uncomfortable, he’ll back off a little. He doesn’t want to make you cry, just tease you a bit.

Lucifer might not notice at first, mainly because he doesn’t notice you—or at least, that’s what you think. After all, he’s intimidating; why would he come close? Of course, he’ll be well aware that you’re avoiding touch. Truth be told, in a way, it’s a relief. It means you treat everyone like this, not just him.

Belphegor, like Luci, will seem oblivious, except he truly doesn’t notice. Because he’s asleep. You don’t touch him? You don’t disturb him? You’re perfect, please stay as long as you can. He might not feel like hugging you, but he definitely prefers having you nearby rather than far away.

Asmodeus will initially assume that you’re reacting like any human ensnared by his aura. You’re defending yourself. Except, instead of panicked shoving, you’re instinctively and calmly backing away. Interesting. He’ll allow it because he’s curious to see what it’s about. You don’t like it? Impossible. And if possible, even hotter… Ahem, once he snaps out of eternally lecherous mode, he’ll manage to keep his hands to himself. He’s had a wife. He remembers all too well how a slipper sole tastes on the forehead (and not as part of foreplay).

In Andrealphus' case, your lack of touch is a bit different than with other demons. You pulled your hand away when he tried to take it. Turned your head when he wanted to feel your face. Stepped back when he simply stood close. The emptiness he felt cut deeper than the angels' swords. Touch is the only way he can see you, reassure you that you're there, that you're safe. He can't help but seek contact. It's not about any fancy caresses or even anything romantic. Just need for closeness. He's been alone his whole life. The hope that had begun to fill him froze and crumbled with every time you dodged him. Unable to keep his feelings in check, he would start avoiding you himself.

Listen to me ramble about traveler ships bc they’re silly!!

Albedo

Both Albedo and the Traveler have a scientific curiosity about the world and how it works, as well as humanity, which they are both not a part of. While Traveler finds enjoyment out of living among them, Albedo prefers studying them from a distance.

This also transcends into curiosity about each other, since they’re both different kinds of immortal ageless entities, they intrigue each other. (Albedo talks about wanting to “study” the Traveler.) They’re brought together by mutual curiosity— Traveler by Sucrose’s description of a gentlyman-ly scholar with much knowledge of Teyvat, and Albedo by tales of the interstellar Traveler with unique abilities and knowledge of other worlds.

They feel a sort of kinship for each other, as they’re both not really of Teyvat. Because of this, Albedo only trusts the Traveler to stop him if he should lose control one day and destroy Mondstat. He also talks about trusting the Traveler around his experiments, and having faith in their “exceptional talents.” He also trusts Travaler with Festering Desire, a sword with the remains of Durin (who was created by the same person as Albedo). Albedo specifically sought out the Traveler help him research the power within the sword, correctly guessing that Traveler (with their purifying ability) would be the only being able to wield it, which Sucrose remarks as odd and a great display of trust.

A final display of trust and perhaps the greatest of all; during the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms Event, Albedo decides to tell Traveler about his creation and relation to Durin, which he has not told to anyone else up to this point. Traveler’s response is to reassure Albedo that they’re not going anywhere, that they’re going to stay with Albedo on dragonspine and make sure to help him find his imposter.

About us, Assistant: Would you oblige me by serving as my assistant? After observing so many experiments, you surely know a good deal about alchemy by now. Relax, we will work together. I don't think you will have any problems. I have faith in my ability to instruct you, and even more faith in your exceptional talents.

Xiao

Xiao has been cursed with bad karma, while the Traveler has purifying abilities. Xiao talks about how being around them makes him calmer somehow. Maybe because of these purifying abilities, more likely because the Traveler is so universally warm and friendly. Two immortal beings, Xiao has spent his long life tied to his nation while the Traveler has been almost everywhere.

While Xiao has a rough exterior, he is actually curious about humanity and has a great love for them, something Traveler understands and shares. He’s just weary of his karmic debt and history of violence bringing the Liyuan people bad luck, or preventing him from fitting in should he mingle among them. The Traveler likewise does not fit in, but is still beloved. And so, Xiao has expressed that he would be willing to attempt going to Liyue Harbor to learn about the people if the Traveler accompanied him. It’s likely Xiao admires Traveler for their pursuit of understanding Teyvat and its people— something Xiao is naturally bad at— and they make him feel comfortable to pursue it as well.

Xiao has sworn to come whenever the Traveler calls his name. He has done so seconds after being called every time the has Traveler called for him, except when Xiao was so injured he couldn’t hear it. He seems notably protective of Traveler, more so than other characters (remember in 2023 lanturn rite when Traveler “drowned” and Xiao showed up IMMEDIATELY to “save” them, and the second he found out they were just faking it, told Traveler not to do that again because “there’s people who worry about you’?) During the Perilous Trail story quest, Xiao refuses to meet up with the main cast of characters, even after being injured, in fear of bringing danger to them, and only agrees to join them when he hears Traveler might be in danger. (Similarly, during the Windborne poetry event, no character could convince Xiao to join in until Venti mentioned the Traveler will be there. As well as 2023 lantern rite where Xiao mentions he came to Hu Tao’s dinner because he assumed Traveler would be there too.) Voice lines imply he is guarded because he assumes his karma will poison Traveler, and he doesn’t want to hurt them. Despite this guarded roughness, Traveler rightly characterized him as a deeply caring individual, seeing Xiao to the core of who he is, and treats him as such.

Also, Traveler has shown to be dedicated to becoming someone Xiao can trust and relax around. In some of Xiao’s voice lines, it’s implied that Traveler has been trying to come up with ways to help soothe Xiao’s pain, such as; suggesting Xiao try poetry to get out “words unsaid”, asking Baizhu about pain medication, intervening to help Xiao out when he’s overwhelmed. Traveler sees Xiao trying to manage his grief and interact with the people of Liyue more, and presents non-optional support for him. (Learning more to honor Pervases and Bosacius [it should be noted that Xiao willingly gave information about his deceased friends to the Traveler because he wanted to share the memory with them, as well as bringing them up in casual conversation (2023 lantern rite) with Traveler], bringing Lantern Rite to Xiao when he’s too hesitant to attend, making tofu for him since other foods bother him, etc.)

They have a tradition of releasing Xiao Lanterns during Lanturn Rite. [ex1] [ex2] Xiao has given the Traveler crystalflies for their hair for his own birthday, brought Traveler flowers on a few occasions, and has talked about how since knowing the Traveler, Xiao has been blessed with sweet peaceful dreams of the two of them going on strolls, wondering if he deserves something so nice.

In a poetry event, the Traveler has created poetry to show their admiration towards Xiao for his endless watch over Liyue. Maybe Traveler admires it because they’ve never had such devotion over something for so long, and Xiao admires Traveler for the opposite reason, and for being brave. They’ve been notes by many other characters to be close. [x]

About Shenhe: It seems Shenhe places a great deal of trust in you. Well, how could she not. There are few people in the world as kind and good-natured as you.

Xiao (during 2023’s Lantern Rite): Whenever I think of the ordinary conversations I've had with you, it feels... strangely novel.

Traveler: Strange in a good way?

Xiao: Yes.

Ayaka

Ayaka’s character story 5: “Ayaka is still waiting for a friend to emerge who can walk alongside her on equal footing and stand by her side. That person cannot see her as a member of the Yashiro Commission, or as the Shirasagi Himegimi, nor will their conduct towards her be bound by decorum or status. And if possible, they might also be well-versed in a great many fields of study, and have witnessed all manner of interesting things... and perhaps they might even be able to tell her a story in a pinch. Only such a person might become Ayaka's bosom friend.”

The Traveler is Ayaka’s ideal companion, the exact kind of person she has been waiting for, possibly the only person who truly has the ability to understand her outside of Inazuman society’s perception of her. She finds Traveler interesting and exciting, a stark difference from her everyday life.

When they first met, the Traveler was disillusioned in their travels after briefly reuniting with their sibling, who dismissed them. Ayaka makes the effort to show them and remind them why they began their travels in the first place; the world and humanity is complex and interesting and beautiful, and it’s a worthwhile endeavor to understand and protect them. Ayaka regularly reminds the Traveler of this by being complex and interesting and beautiful herself. Traveler then goes to great lengths to protect Ayaka’s people, because they understand why they’re important to her.

Ayaka is trapped in Inazuma, while the Traveler has been all over the world. Traveler sends Ayaka things while on their travels, and Ayaka makes sure to keep and treasure them. Things that Ayaka has seen a million times are new and wonderful to the Traveler, showing these things in a new light to Ayaka. It makes Ayaka feel like a “regular girl,” something she wishes she could be more often. Traveler indulges Ayaka’s curiosity about the world outside Inazuma, and Ayaka is fascinated by how the Traveler sees the world. During the Warriors Spirit Event, Ayaka and Traveler both talk about how easy and natural it is to fight alongside one another. She says that Traveler always listens to her worries, but she feels like she’s losing in their relationship by not listening enough to Traveler’s issues. A trusted retainer, sensing how close Traveler and Ayaka are, asks Traveler to look out for her. The Traveler is shown to feel most comfortable with Ayaka and her family while in Inazuma. They both understand what it’s like to feel distant from a sibling.

Traveler (during the Warrior’s Spirit Event, after Ayaka shows them her Fontaine outfit): This look really suits you. / It's a beautiful outfit and it suits you perfectly.

Ayaka: (during the Warrior’s Spirit Event, about a duel they just won together): Although the audience members might not have noticed, there were many moments where I would've been in trouble if it weren't for you by my side drawing away the opponent's attacks. Without you, it would've been impossible for me to win on my own. It's just as I expected, my swordsmanship is still far from your level.

Traveler: Ayaka, you helped me many times as well. / You're being too modest, Ayaka.

Wanderer

The Traveler and the Wanderer are both parallels and ideological foils. They have both been betrayed and abandoned by family and loved ones, doomed to travel and wander the world in order to understand it better because of that.

But the Wanderer has learned humanity’s cruelty during these travels, mostly in the Fatui. He believes humans to be evil and self-serving, and so he acts that way too. And as an immortal, finds mortal limited lifespans cruel and unfair, clutching onto his grief and anger in a means to cope with what he cannot control.

Meanwhile, the Traveler has learned the beauty of humanity during their travels. They believe in the inherent goodness in everyone, and so they act that way. Curious and sensitive, like Wanderer before his three betrayals, even though Traveler has arguably been through just as much hardship as Wanderer (which may be a reason Wanderer held contempt for Traveler in the past). The Traveler is also an immortal being and knows of the reality of limited mortal lives. But instead of seeing it as cruel, Traveler sees the beauty in mortals living free and learning and growing in their limited lifetimes.

Their ideologies are in direct conflict. The Traveler’s ideology has led them to getting hurt often, while the Wanderer’s ideology has led him to being isolated. They have a lot to learn from one another. They have parallel scenes of saving one another in Wanderer’s story quest, maybe to allude to this.

AND, with the Wanderer having erased himself from everyone’s memory except the Traveler, the Traveler now is the only person to know the real Wanderer. Not only do they know all the evil Wanderer has done, (led to the death of Teppi which Traveler was famously angry about, tried to kill Nahida, etc), they know Wanderer’s history (seeing the flashbacks in Wanderer’s archon quest), and briefly met a version of Wanderer that is most like his personality before the betrayals. Traveler knows all sides of Wanderer, and is still his friend. Wanderer is perplexed by this, often expressing it in voicelines. But this means Traveler knows him the most, they own part of his identity as well, as Wander has allowed them to give him a new name. A new name that he has not let anyone use except the Traveler, preferring to go by “Hat Guy” in the Akademia.

The Summertide Scales and Tales events seems to have tipped Wanderer and Traveler over from reluctant allies, to friendly rivalry. While still being weary of him, the Traveler can’t help but seek Wanderer’s presence because they enjoy learning about his vastly differing perspectives on life. The Wanderer respects them because of their vast strength and knowledge. He has also presented Traveler with flowers once. Wanderer got his vision— the embodiment of his sense of freedom, the vessel of his new life— by saving the Traveler. Only by saving them did he free himself from his past and was able to start over. That’s kinda crazy lowkey.

About us, Rivals: So, you're still stewing over our run-ins from before? Huh. Well, what are you going to do about it? Take your time. I'm in no hurry.

Wanderer, after saving Traveler from falling to their death in the 4.8 summertide scales and tales event: Hmph, passed out from a little fall, did you? How fragile...

Wanderer, once Traveler woke up: Morning, sunshine. You were having a nice little dream there, weren't you? Not gonna lie, it was kind of adorable.

Jeht

Through the Golden Slumber world quest, it’s made very clear that the NPC Jeht is significantly [romantically] closer to the female Traveler Lumine. In the quest, they travel together for a time and become close. In a moment of crisis involving the Fatui, Jeht is ordered to kill Lumine, but refuses out of affection for her. She takes the punishment instead, and is offered to a Fatui scientist for experiments by her tribe. Jeht was told it was Lumine that betrayed her, and Lumine was told Jeht had betrayed the tribe, but neither of them chose to believe something bad about the other.

At the end of it all, Jeht chooses to fight by Lumine’s side over her other friends. Inspired by Lumine, Jeht decides to go on her own journey. Their goodbye is tearful. There is also White Day art of her giving Traveler a gift.

Lyney

Lyney has only known the Traveler for a short time, but they already have a checkered history. The Traveler trusts Lyney and his sister immediately after meeting them, hangs out with him for a few days, and defends him in murder trial. Only for it to be revealed Lyney was part of the Fatui, who the Traveler has an even worse history with, having killed their friends and put Traveler and their companions in mortal peril many times.

Lyney offers an apology and some of the truth, but the Traveler is still cold with him and brushes him off, believing themselves to be betrayed (and likely influenced by mixed feelings of seeing such close twins). Despite openly admitting to having difficulty with opening up, Lyney makes the effort to be open and truthful with the Traveler during his story quest, rebuilding trust between them. Lyney puts in extra effort to be honest, because he truly wants the Traveler to like him. He gives the Traveler a rainbow rose by the end of it, which even his sister marks as odd, because it represents passion and romantic love in Fontaine. His sister asks the Traveler to “protect that flower for her,” likely alluding to Lyney.

The Traveler trusts him after this enough to include him in the main quest again. Lyney remarks multiple times about how he feels close with the Traveler, how he enjoys talking with them, how the Traveler’s eyes shine like topaz and Lyney could never lie to such beauty. There’s also official White Day art of Lyney giving the Traveler chocolates.

In Arlecchino's story quest, he’s implied to have talked in detail about the Traveler to his other siblings, and is eager for the Traveler to like them. He is hesitant to involve the Traveler in family business, wanting to keep them safe and saying he will protect the Traveler with his life. The Traveler similarly shows the desire to protect Lyney, stepping in between him and his Father during conflict.

They resonate with one another concerning their twin siblings. Lyney having almost lost Lynette, and the Traveler being separated from their sibling. For the Traveler, this grew from jealousy to admiration, as they see Lyney caring so greatly for his family, a trait Traveler shares. Traveler understands and respects Lynsey’s loyalty to his (fatui) family, and would not be surprised if and when that loyalty drives them apart.

While they are close now after much effort rebuilding trust, they are both silently aware their friendship has an expiration date. Traveler’s goals contradict the Fatui. And with Lyney declaring his loyalty to the Knave as her successor, and this mysterious Fatui scheme the House of the Hearth have been roped into, they both know it’s just a matter of time before circumstance sees them on opposing sides of the battlefield. Though it remains unaddressed for now as they try to enjoy the time they have left together.

But sanji would be a good caretaker with the food getting the babies needs in foods, if the child is allergic to this ortat, Robin is instantlythe mother nobody can change she would benthe best mother in the world. Zoro is great with kids (watch episode 318). Imagine the baby napping with him or sttig on his back while he exercises. Brook and Franky would be the uncles to spoil the baby with toys and clothes, gifts you name it. Usopp and Chopper are the baby siblings, playing with baby and jokes all around. Nami is the sister that protects the baby when their dangers (well, they all do, but she is in the scaredy cat trio) like pulling the baby close and running away.

Oh you are spot on right there anon, Luffy is great with kids, just like ace as we saw with Tama and Momonosuke and how he protected her. But just as before just because he is good at protecting the baby and getting on the same wavelengh dosen’t exactly mean the child is gonn aleave unscathe. Luffy is capable of trying to give the baby some meat, if he decides to share it I mean. He dosen’t mean any harm he just dosen’t know, one thing he would be the to go to person is being blunt Id imagine when the kid is older he would go all the time to Luffy, as silly as he is he is also really blunt jusg as we see when he tells people when they are being annoying or crybabies no matter who they are so the kid can count on Luffy to not sugarcoat things just the blunt truth but also give them support. Sanji just like you said would be great tending to the kids nutritional needs, we all know he is more than willing to adapts to not knly the needs of a person but also their preferences so no matter what kind of things the kid liek he is ready to provide. Because of his backround I also think he would be more in tune to the feelings of a baby and be good person to go to when they are emotional or just need someone to cry to when they are a little but older

Robin just has that motherly aura, can’t tell me otherwise, like Sanji I think because of her backround she would be more understanding of a child and the emotions they can bring. He has a few years under her belt and because of her background working with someone like Crocodile and all those people she is incredibly patient and is unlikely to loose her cool on the face of a baby’s high demands.

Zoro we know he is great with kids, my man took care of those triplets with style, like did you see how he gave that one baby his milk? Man is cool even under that situation. Not only have we seen him with actual babies but have you seen his relationship with Chopper? Get this man his adoption papers pronto. And despite how he is with Sanji . With a baby I feel liek he would have the patience of a saint, just the baby tossing and turning and he simply shifts or puts him back on hid lap endlessly, to the point that he does it unconsciously, his instincts won’t let that baby fall even if they were napping upside down. Hear me out kn those exercises, I know he is mostly into weights but if he ever does a run, just strap the baby in and you got a weight vest. And he takes the baby on certain weight exercises because the movements are akin to rocking.

Now Brook, you might have seen this one coming but lullubies, baby has got A nap buddy, their oen personal chef and their own personal concert what more can you wish? The baby might not understand what he is saying but you can bet that he will be making skeleton jokes everytime he is on baby duty and the baby will just laugh along because of his laugh ( he thinks they are laughing at his jokes so he keeps them going)

Now listen not only is Franky one of the cool uncles, my man can pull up all kinds builds for the kid, need a new craddle? Leave it up to him, need a new crib? You got one with the latest technology in the blink of an eye. Listen he tried to give the baby soda but after getting screamed at explained that a baby cannot have soda, you can bet the baby will have a Soda stuffie to replace the lack of real Soda. Baby’s gonna have a superrrrrr good laugh with him.

Ussop, like Franky will make sure the baby has everything available, he builds the baby all kinds of fun toys for them to play with; not only that but he gaves a detailed explanation on everything he does, baby will leave with a new toy and a course on construction. He can easily make that baby laugh with his goofy attitude too, rest assured that when the crew disembarks into dangerous territory you will have Ussop’s full disposition to stay behind with the baby.

Chopper has two modes, first one just like you said is being on the same wavelength as the baby. If Chopper is ever nowhere to be found, the crew knows to check the babies room, chopper is often napping with the baby with both of them hugging and cuddling eachother. Don’t count on him to be there when baby needs changing though, that nose of his won’t be able to take it. Second nose is doctor mode, a baby is really vulnerable and won’t be able to communicate what he’s feeling and Chopper is always ready to make him all better and provide the best care the baby could get.

Big sister Nami won’t let baby have anhthing but the best, you know why baby is always dressed up in what seems to be better clothes than the rest if the crew? Yep that comes from rich big Sister Nami. Baby has an outfit for every occasion, not only that but on everystop you can be sure that if Nami dosen’t come back with a new clothing item then she is returning for a new plush toy for the baby. On calm days when everything is quiet you can hear from the deck Nami playing some silly game like peekaboo with baby Strawhat

Lastly we have Jinbei. Him and Ussop often pair up to tell the best of stories they can tell, Ussops crazy stories combined with Jinbei’s calm voice is an audience pleaser. Wether it is an action story to entertain baby strawhat or a bedtime story he’s got it. When there’s a swimday you can bet that it’s Jinbei’s time to chain, they might just be a baby but they will have the time of their lives either way when jinbei is on duty

I have seen people with strong emotional responses having strong mars and debilitated moon placements. For example, one having strong Mars placements or degrees, in Mars ruled houses such as Scorpio mars and Aquarius moon might end up expressing their anger in a scathing way, you know: the kind of people who just know what to say to hurt you, or pull tricks which might be fatal for everyone surrounding them?

As much as I love my fellow Pisces, I just need to put this out: you need to put into the work in order to actually manifest what you want. You cannot just sit and wish for good things to come to you while you don't work on yourself.

Also, my friends with Pisces moons have a tendency to avoid the problems plaguing them, but they seem to become the biggest helpers when it comes to solving other people's problems. I often wonder if I should laugh for having such cool friends in times or need or cry for having friends who could careless for their own problems which in turn become the reason for their sufferings.

5) My father and I share the same moon sign, and I think he's the evolved version of Leo moon. I have this theory that a person's emotional evolvement is often related to their moon sign's sister sign. For example, my father has a Leo moon, but he rationalizes his emotions like an Aquarius moon would, keep things bottled up, and when he really has to speak, he'd speak about his emotions in a practical way--and often talk about the root causes as if he's delivering a motivational speech on self improvement.

6) on the other hand, my brother (youngest one) has Aquarius moon, and he is very dramatic, takes every word as a jab and has a very regal aura to him. Another example would be my two guy friends who have capricorn moon and cancer moon, and weirdly enough, the capricorn one is more emotionally charged than the cancer one, who is very mature when it comes to handing his emotions. The capricorn one is very sneaky, and is very petty to the ones who hurt him (I find it funny most of the time that he act like he is unfazed only to go to his social media and post shit about the person) It gives 'very mindful. But the cancer one is very nurturing, very motherly and respectful--even to the ones who disagree to him (he often debates a lot and often end up in verbal brawls) Although he can be scathing too.

7) Also, regarding the moon signs, I can see the changes forming within me these days. My solar return for this year has aquarius moon in my fourth house, and I have mellowed down, and feel very emotionally connected to my mother specially.

8) People with harsh aspects between their moon signs and saturn constantly fights against their own emotions, it's often like the fight between their mind and their heart. Hence they might try to be practical, but often end up expressing themselves in an opposite way.

9) I often imagine people with Libra moon with having a heart of gold, the 'very demure, very mindful' types. If they were to have their dark sides, I would think manipulations, and twisting words would be it. Do lemme know your thoughts on this.

10) With all my friends studying with me: we're in a creative field, I have noticed a pattern, their art preferences, and their dislikes regarding some aspects of art, are closely related to their moon signs. I have seen the ones having Sag moons gravitate towards creating pieces with many greens and purples, you know? Ecobrutalism but with a dash of futurism too? The most original ones in my opinions are the ones with pisces, leo and scorpio moons. my friends with those moon signs happened to always bring something new to the table. The most consistent ones with a very definitive art style are IMO, capricorn moon and cancer moon and aquarius moon. They'll make it happen, however.

How do your Sidesteps dress? Has that changed between their days as Sidestep and now? Does their specific villain career affect their wardrobe?

as guy famous for knowing next to nothing about fashion, this one was hard hsjhfjgh. i thinkk i got them all pinned down though!

Caine:

im convinced at least 40% of the reason ortega recognized him again at the diner was because of his clothes. its a ratty gray sweater with jeans and black shoes and that is All they ever wear. like i cannot stress enough, i joke about how all my characters are cartoon characters because i never draw them wearing anything else, but for caine they really are Just Like That. the only time they ever wear anything else is for spars/training, where they ditch the sweater and replace their jeans with sweatpants.

Cyrus:

he always toed the line between fashionable and grungy streetwear to me. for a good while when i first played him i pinned him down as grungy before deciding the presentability score was too low and switching.

something like these with a bit of a brighter pop of colour and a preference for rougher, stiffer fabrics. on occasion hell go for lighter clothes that fit closer to the fashionable streetwear side, sort of like this

as sidestep, he was a little more subdued. hed still wear more fashionable clothes, but hed also be equally likely to go around in a sweater and jeans. less concerned about looking good and more with fitting in. the personality in his fits came from the little trinkets hed carry around, which honestly hindered him at times while a hero hdjhejf. being a herohunter doesnt do much for his style, but theres a lot of utility in dressing rougher around the edges. his "dont look at me" aura has to do a lot less work.

Cecilia:

man. Does her specific villain career affect her fashion. wjhshf ok so the thing i figured out about ceci a bit ago is that her villain career will change her storyline and character Significantly, and her sense of style is affected by that. as a thief, she dresses quirky and preppy. lots of bright colours and bold fits.

she has more room to express her creativity and experiment, because when shes a thief, shes really a one woman show. she has no obligation to other people, and shes free to do whatever the hell she wants. as a mob boss, shes still has the ability to dress as she pleases, but shes more constrained by others impression of her. her crew knows her face, so her clothing has to be representative of her power and status. in game, she takes up an expensive elegant style.

looser, flowy fabrics, with that air of old money and just the right hint of personality to make her seem approachable. shes made sure to curate her looks well. i havent figured out what shes like in the other professions, so im not sure how shed dress! as for how she was like when she was sidestep, she didnt really have her own sense of style. it was a lot of experimenting and mixing between the ones she came across, mostly ortegas and anathemas.

Chance:

BEFORE I ANSWER THIS QUESTION. cynthia -> chance. ok now i can talk. this is one i actually had an answer to when i read the question adhsjdfd. something i dont think comes up a lot is that chance is a Massive jock. its a lot less prominent now, but in her sidestep days she loved just Moving. to accommodate she wore a lot of sportswear, and probably had more than a few lovingly used sneakers she held on to. she wore the most formfitting clothes out of all the sidesteps, less out of style than necessity.

slap a few more layers of clothes onto these badboys and youre golden. Post hb though, she didnt want to risk even the Possibility of skin, so she started overlaying these clothes with big puffy sweaters/coats and the like. she still wears them underneath though, theyre handy if she needs to get on the move quickly.

Ok enough time passed. I finally processed and gathered my thoughts (I think? These may still be subject to change bc I’m very indecisive 🫤)

Uh so um

🚨Spoilers for FNAF Secret of the Mimic!🚨

We good? Ok

So as I mentioned before, I watched Dawko’s gameplay of SotM. And man I gotta say.. first impression overall.. was it was NOT what I was expecting. And that’s not a bad thing.

So I’m gonna try and break it down in sections.

First gameplay.

I haven’t played it myself. Haven’t quite decided yet if I wanna. But from what I saw. Gameplay looked pretty solid. It definitely gave me the vibes of being trapped in some kinda carnival themed haunted house. The gameplay reminded me of a combination of poppy playtime and outlast (again, not bad things as I’m a fan of both franchises, I don’t compare for negative purposes).

The horror aspect was definitely turned up a notch from the last free roam game Security Breach. Which makes sense bc the aura of this one felt more eerie and unsettling than the whimsy that was felt in SB. One reason I feel this could be is bc this place was abandoned. And abandoned buildings tend to have more of an ominous feel than something that isn’t. The chase sequences were a nice touch, especially Jackie and her stretchy limbs, were very disturbing.

For the most part, I can see how this plays similarly to SB, with having the free roam aspect as well as collecting items, listening to tapes, and even the added feature of completing puzzles (I don’t remember if SB had those, I could be misremembering) I did get a bit of Amanda the adventurer vibes too from collecting the film reels that revealed the M1 and the connection to the Murray’s.

The only thing I suppose I could criticize with gameplay is that it sometimes feels a little overwhelming with the exploration aspect. Perhaps it’s my own personal preference of more linear gameplay for things that do have an end goal to be met. And I know that I would probably get lost or forget too many things trying to do all those things at once. It’s not a bad thing it really is just a personal preference thing.

The characters.

Ok I just gotta say. Arnold has gotta be the REALEST protag we’ve ever had in fnaf. Bro was questioning the ENTIRE time why he was even doing this, for a scum bag corporation like fazbear entertainment, literally after completing 30+ hour shifts. FazEnt continues to be absolute SCUM that treats their employees like shit.

Speaking of which, it was nice to see the a bit more into the beginnings of FazEnt, with William and Henry actually CONTRACTING Edwin to make the springlock suits. It sucks that it seems that they were using him to take him for all he was worth in the end, but it also sadly aligns with the characters. Edwin didn’t finish the designs so they made their own (you can tell Edwin’s were FAR more durable).

Also it was REALLY cool to finally get a look at the Murray’s! Edwin really does come off as someone that means well, but he just goes in too deep and puts too much pressure on himself, burying himself in work to where he can’t even care for his son. Fiona was a nice added touch, considering she had died in childbirth in the tales book. And David.. that poor kid. He got a very bad short end of the stick his whole short life.

The new characters were really cool. I do like Jackie’s design even if she scares me shitless (cmon she’s MASSIVE) and i really did like dollie as a character (I IMMEDIATELY clocked Heather masters voice lol) and her molten form was NUTS. Also THE OG CHICA is something I was NOT expecting to see but I love her little roller skates and her food buddies!

Foxy and Roxy being buddies on a pirate crew was neat too! The amount of times I’ve watched the fandom pair them up as a duo, it’s nice to kinda see that get officially confirmed! And to know that truly, Roxy wasn’t actually a foxy replacement (I never thought she was, but again, the confirmation is nice)

Oh and Tiger Rock being kinda an apparition like golden Freddy, that was neat. I still think he’s a goofy looking guy, but he doesn’t seem to have like.. any true malice. (And may be possessed by David? But that’s still to be decided)

Finally, the mimic.

Wow. This really added more to mimics character than what was initially believed, even with Ruin and the Tales books. The mimic is a SCARY antagonist and a FORCE to be reckoned with, and I don’t think that should be ignored or downplayed just bc it’s a “walking stick of metal”

It also seems very clear to me that there is two things happening: the mimic actually taking over the costumes, and the m2 program infecting other machines/animatronics. Bc the mimic CANNOT be in two places at once, and there are times where protag is chased by MULTIPLE things. So yea, I think this pretty much confirms the existence of the m2 virus (for all m1 virus) as seen in the tales story “the storyteller”

Ok.. now the lore.

So obviously, this is derive from the tales story “the mimic.” Where details such as Fiona dying and mimic1 being made by Edwin while mimic2 was made my FazEnt. The fact it was now changed to be Edwin had made m1 to mimic his DEAD WIFE, is kinda crazy. It makes sense in hindsight that it grew close to David bc it was literally programmed to act as his mother. Now.. how m1 ends up as F10-N4.. I still have no clue. It’s clear that SOMEHOW that machine eventually turns into mxes, but I don’t think it’s necessarily the same thing. I don’t even think mxes happened before it was taken from the factory. I think FazEnt took F10-N4, and reprogrammed it into mxes, hence the big blue rabbit.

Also to think that Edwin made so many of the beloved characters we’ve seen in SB and pizza sim is CRAZY. The fact that we have practical confirmation that Monty and Roxy were NOT FazEnt characters, and even CHICA was not designed by them, but by FIONA. It was very fascinating to see so many origins of these characters and how their humble beginnings may have started (I absolutely DIG rodeo Roxy, but I’m a sucker for the country aesthetic)

Now.. to answer the question that everyone has been asking. Does this completely decanonize the Tales books?

Personally, I don’t think so. And I’ll explain.

The way I see it is this. The story of the Mimic is definitely changed, but the main concepts still remain. The Murray’s, the mimic and David, Edwin beating the shit outta mimic (who we now know is m2, the one that was built to mimic DAVID). All of that remains. So what I think tales is.. is exactly what the name implies.

They’re TALES.

They’re stories, gossip, rumors told from person to person, like a game of telephone. Each person that it gets told to, gets told a slightly altered version. While the MAIN CONCEPTS of the stories remain in tact.

This game is the full TRUTH about what happened. The details are not mixed up by skewed perspective and false and unreliable narration. So while I do think that a lot of the stories probably don’t hold much significance in the long term. I do think that the CONCEPTS introduced in the stories are still very important (and explains why SW said it as “if you’ve read the books, you don’t know the full story”)

One more thing. This game pretty much solidifies my theory on what glitchtrap is. He is not Afton, and he is not the mimic. He is a branch of the m2 program, that was scanned into the VR system and accidentally taught to mimic Afton, similarly to how the m2 was accidentally taught violence. So yea, I do think m2 and glitchtrap are connected, but not EXACTLY the same, as they do seem to have different personal goals while having a similar universal goal.

So yea.. I definitely feel that this game gave us a lot of information that we both needed to fill in gaps, and information that we didn’t even expect to find out. Edwin was truly just another victim in the overall Ponzi scheme that FazEnt was running in order to put themselves on top. And taking literally everything he owned. His money. His products. His schematics. his literal livelihood. Just shows how truly evil of a corporation they really are.

And as far as the future goes? I’m very curious as to how the characters are gonna deal with, what we know now is, an abused neglected child that was taught violence and seems to be at the point of no return. It does make me curious about the secret ending with “the real treasure was friendship all along” and makes me wonder, if the end solution will have something along that line (not with the mimic itself, but moreso with the others like Cassie and Gregory, who I fully believe are gonna be foils in the next game)

I truly truly believe, that we are on the cusp of the end of the mimic era, and that we may be getting one final game: Fallfest. I see the potential for the return of the cast of this era (Gregory, Vanessa ,Cassie, Freddy, possibly Roxy) and something regarding these guys, is gonna be what takes the mimic down for good. (And so HELP ME GOD they better all come out alive! Bc there doesn’t always need to be a bleak and depressing ending that splits what has clearly been set up as a found family) (sw I’m in your fucking walls)

I could talk more about how I think friendship and redemption will be the ultimate end goal, but.. this post has already gone on long enough. So imma cut it here.

And yea, those are my thoughts, as well as I can remember them off the top of my head. I’m sure they’ll be more stuff I have to say in the future. But for now, that’s it.

Overall, solid game. Solid gameplay. Solid characters, and interesting lore implications that definitely changes how I see some things.

Death-How messy are they? Do they feel guilty/sorry for the lives they take?

🏫Gakuho may never drive a knife in another's heart and he may never use a gun to end someone's life but I would argue that the methods he uses make a normal death through a weapon seem preferable. He may not be an assassin yet he has tremendous influence and power in his hands. The things he can do are numerous and one option is as terrifying as the next one. You would know best just how terrifying Gakuho is as you are the unfortunate victim of his obsession. Gakuho, who believes that Ikeda's death was his own mistake, has since voted to never be so careless again in his life and let another mistake happen. This mindset can be perfectly applied to this topic as well as he does not let anything slide, no matter how harmless it might be. He seeks out total control and that not only includes his school and the students in it but also your life and the life of the people surrounding you. He wants perfection and if the people around you do not fit into his image, he will remove them.

🏫He ignores basic morals in favor of perfecting everything to his own image. He never feels any pity for the people he teaches a lesson as he always sees it as taking care of the pest before it can cause any damage. Obviously a huge part of the isolation he forces on you is a result of his own controlling personality yet I can't help but think that another reason he always reacts so quickly is because of the lingering guilt he feels for Ikeda's death. His former student was driven to suicide due to the intense bullying he had to endure and that memory that has led him to change his very foundation has led to a very intense overprotective instinct as Gakuho grows obsessed with you. If he eliminates the tender bud before it can grow into anything threatening for you, he genuinely believes that he does you a favor. You may not think the same but that's to be expected. You have a soft and good heart after all. He's just making sure that your heart doesn't crumble like his student's heart did.

Earnest-How intense and dangerous are they really?

🏫​Gakuho is a freaking monster and he doesn't even hide it as he believes his methods and the way he sees things to be the correct one. Everyone is one way or another intimidated by him although he possesses just as much charm and charisma to convince everyone of his decisions. It is honestly the sum of everything that makes him arguably the worst one of his verse. He has the influence, the money and the power that it takes to imprison you forever. He has the intelligence, the looks and the charm to influence the hearts and minds of the people around you even without having to use his position. He is very controlling and possessive which means that you have essentially no time for yourself as he has a schedule for your own life yet he is confident enough in the grasp he has on your life to even let you wander around freely if you have earned it as he knows that you have no means of freeing yourself from him.

Fight-How do they feel if their darling fights back/says they hate them?

🏫​It takes some courage to say this to a man who always emits such an intimidating aura and he gives you credit for doing so as many others wouldn't have the guts to do so. You are going to be the only one agitating yourself as Gakuho is terrifyingly calm as you do so. If he is doing something else whilst you fight back or run your mouth against him, he continues with what he is doing all whilst glancing occasionally at you to tell you that he is listening. You might think that he would punish disobedience but he is quite unbothered with your little temper tantrum. You may spout such claims but do you have any means to defy him? It is the knowledge that by the end of the day you won't be able to do anything that gives him such calmness. There is no need to get worked up over your empty threats after all. Instead he's hoping that venting your emotions out like this will help you to cool down and think rationally again.

Game-Do they see this all as a game?

🏫​No. Gakuho has never viewed anything as a fun game anymore since his own student committed suicide and the same counts for his feelings for you. As cruel, controlling and scary as Gakuho can be and will definitely be, he has always made sure to show you that the feelings he harbors for you are sincere. Even if his love may be twisted and dark, he has never considered you as anything less than his lover and partner he plans to keep with him until death tears you two apart. Artist

Carmina isn't much of an animal person.

It isn't to say she doesn't like animals.

They just, aren't her thing.

So the care is going to be left up to you.

She would have been fine with just about any animal you brought home.

Except a cat.

When she was alive, a cat wouldn't have been a big deal.

But now that she's no longer human, and also kind of part crow, it's more of a problem.

You know, cats chase birds and all.

The crow part of her wants nothing to do with the cat.

If anything, she purposely avoids it.

Anytime that goes near her she moves far away.

It's almost as if she's doing it on instinct.

However, when the cat isn't doing anything, she's perfectly fine with it.

If anything, it makes a great painting subject.

Cats are naturally fairly lazy, so they're great to paint.

She doesn't have many muses in the realm, so this is a nice change of pace from just painting rocks and trees.

She loves painting you, don't get her wrong.

But a good artist paints many different things.

Occasionally, you can find the two hanging out together when she needs a lazy moment.

The two will just sit there in silence, enjoying the peace.

It isn't much, but when it does happen it's very cute and peaceful.

Claudette Moral

Claudette isn't much of a pet person.

It isn't as if she doesn't like animals, she likes them plenty.

She just never had any desire to own a pet.

Also, what if it's something that eats her plants?

She couldn't have an animal that would eat her plants!

If anything, her plants were her pets.

And she wouldn't want to put them in danger.

So when you brought home a tarantula she was apprehensive.

Until she realized that the tarantula could help her plants as well.

The tarantula could eat the bugs, and her plants would be happy.

It's a win-win.

And, to be honest, she prefers bugs to fluffy creatures anyways.

She always had.

Playing with your eight legged companion reminds her of her childhood when she used to play with pill bugs.

Those were the good parts of her childhood, the part she wants to remember.

She talks to it often too.

"Okay, I need you to guard this plant right here. I think there have been some aphids and I need you to take care of them, okay?"

Like she's giving it instructions.

It's even brought Claudette out of her shell a little bit.

It's giving her the confidence to go out and talk to more people.

However, she holds the tarantula in her hands when she tries to talk to new people.

And, unfortunately, it can be kind of a turn-off for some.

She nearly caused white to faint when she showed her tarantula to him.

But, a more confident and happy Claudette is one of the sweetest things you will ever see.

Shape

Michael never had a pet.

He spent most of his childhood up to his adult life in the asylum.

Occasionally, people would bring around therapy dogs. But that was it.

And he was rarely allowed near them considering his violent nature.

The only other interaction he's had with animals is police dogs. And those typically aren't too friendly to him.

There can only be one other reason you brought an animal home. Food.

He thinks it's going to be dinner.

You're going to need to watch this dog like a hawk.

Because if you turn your back, Michael might have it on a chopping board ready to cut it up.

You're really going to have to sit down and explain to him that no, you will not be eating this dog.

It's going to be like showing a toddler how to pet a dog properly.

You're going to need a lot of time and patience.

And, to be honest, Michael exudes a terrifying aura. This dog will more than likely not like him at first.

But, with time, the two will learn to tolerate each other.

Maybe, if you're lucky, they'll become decent friends.

However, it's good for Michael to learn some responsibility.

Learning to take care of something might make him a better person.

Probably not.

But you can try.

You might find him one day passed out on the couch, the dog asleep on his stomach.

Take a picture, because it won't happen often.

It's the little moments like this that make Michael seem more human.
