Prompt idea:

All the ghosts know Danny is a baby ghost and so come to give him enrichment (not that they tell him that). Skulker is a little overzealous about teaching the baby how to hunt. Even the Ancients Undergrowth, Nocturne, etc become involved after hearing just how powerful the new ghost is (though he still is nowhere near their actual level). Undergrowth is a little salty about the fact that the baby gained Ice powers during their playing. However, Vlad doesn’t follow the rules and when Pariah Dark happened all the ghosts were astounded when the baby actually beat him without ghostly aid. Suddenly the baby is the new prince and they are panicking because a baby should NOT be ruling! Danny suddenly learns a lot of truths and did not need the pressure of future kinghood please and thank you. He also doesn’t like the sudden fussing. Yes the food from Lunch Lady is nice (he’s never been healthier really) but he’s getting a bit overwhelmed by the 180 change in attitude.

No one could get into contact with Constantine. 

Now usually that wasn’t that big of a deal, the man constantly disappeared for a few days at a time doing something or other, but he’d been completely silent and unseen for months. Usually he’ll at least answer a call to tell them to fuck off or something. 

And they really need his expertise and are getting incredibly worried for their grumpy team member. Yes he’s an asshole, but he’s their asshole, y’know? And he has a habit of getting into Situations (sure he also usually gets out of them, but what if he didn’t this time?!) 

So they’re desperate. Kind of really desperate. Desperate enough to use the summoning sigil they found on his fridge. They’d checked it, multiple times, and it should summon the hellblazer. 

“You’re not Constantine.” . 

The white-haired teen in the circle yawned, stretching and blinking at them blandly with familiar blue eyes before sighing. “Actually I am,” he stuffed his hands into his hoodie as he looked down at the summoning circle. “Well, technically just one of the many Laughing Magicians currently in the Realms.” 

He gave a grin, looking more amused than annoyed. “Pretty much every one of us is in the Realms right now for family reunion lol. (Did he just say lol out loud??) So like, you’re gonna have to specify which of us you’re tryin’ to summon. Honestly perfect timing for me thanks, the fruitloop keeps flirting with John and it’s horrific so.”

Just some random ass au.

Like what if Danny's main language becomes ghost speak. So ghost speak is like a magic language. Meaning when using this language and putting intent into it you can do magic.

But still he can work around it since all he has to do is be super casual about every word he says. So it wasn't a problem

Until it comes to light that anything Danny writes becomes a magic spell, because he's in all of his half dead glory and is now a native to the language . Since Danny is writing and has an intent. Like pass this as a good essay for his class.

So like every school assignment becomes a mini magic scroll. Which every one of them is either luck magic or whatever things he had to write. Like he had to write about marine biology. And ended up with a paper that spews out water.

Even computers don't help. Since technically unknowingly he's still writing it in ghost speak just romanized. So it's a little bit better but still.

Anyway. This becomes a huge problem when a new nobody rogue tries to use his school assignments bunched together with staples as a magic tome.

In other news , when the bats finally get the powerful magic tome the new unknown was using they are faced with subfar school assignments. Like graded. The mini tsunami spell is a paper on ocean currents.

Well at least it's super easy to find the maker of the tome.

Last year I started seeing answers to prayers I began praying five years ago. This year hundreds of prayers have been answered. Prayers I forgot about were answered, and I see God's hand as he works to answer even more.

Don't stop praying because you don't see God's hand in your life immediately. God works in a lot of subtle and mysterious ways, and years down the road you'll discover how he has been working behind the scenes. He is not slow in the way we as humans understand slowness, but he sees the bigger picture and knows what will bring about his glory. His timing is perfect, and I can see that in my life.

Was just thinking about the amount of animals Obi-Wan interacts with compared to literally everyone else and in the Clone Wars episode where Kamino gets attacked he literally gets saved twice by the same ray-like animal and just...

The growth from judging Qui-Gon for the 'pathetic lifeforms' he picks up to whatever he has going on during the Clone Wars era. He must have gotten that from Qui-Gon though, right?

And because it's my brain and it's rotting with all the star wars stuff I am consuming I was thinking of Obi-Wan saving all these creatures and the 212th having to deal with that. Surely they made one of the rooms pet proof in case one of them needs a new home. There also have to be clones who love that because of course Obi-Wan can't really take care of rescues on top of all his duties.

After the first few times this happens Cody learns to order animal food and other necessities. And if the Republic doesn't fulfill these requests or asks too many questions he'll just have to make sure to organize them on planet during the campaigns.

Alien biology is weird. Liminal biology? Even weirder. 

Ecto? Very much a wellspring for creation despite its association with death. Or rather undeath, but that’s a debate that many a realms denizen has tried to find the answer of. Usually there weren’t many liminals- ecto contaminated, yes, but enough to form Cores? No, only a few throughout history. Until the age of Heroes and Villains came about. But that’s a story for another time. 

See ectoplasm builds up over time in the human body, and even more so for those that have formed cores who create their own. And it’s not like it’s well studied, what with most not even being aware of the changes or the fact they aren’t fully human anymore. 

Why is this important? Well, what happens if two liminals (accidentally or not) mix their ecto together? Well, that depends on intentions, even if it’s just an impulsive thought at the time. Which in turns means that accidents? Yeah, accidents might’ve happened. Oops….

VOX MACHINA IDEAS THAT I PROBABLY WON'T WRITE, LOG 04

(I meant it when I say that 99% of my ideas gravitate around Percy, not that any of you are complaining anyway lmao)

Au where Percy, after being rescued by the fishermen when he escaped, manages to convince them to take him to Wildemount to contact the other branch of de Rolos in the other continent, but after some incidents with pirates/slavers and other tribulations, Percy gets lost and ends up in the Blooming Grove with Caduceus (maybe some god was watching over him for once?), he warmly welcomes Percy, happy to finally have some company after being so lonely for years.

Percy stays with Caduceus for like a year, taking his time to heal both physical and mentally, Caduceus teaches him about nature and how dead doesn’t have to be such a sad thing, while Percy teaches Caduceus about technology and how to do some fixing in the grove. They become very close, like brothers/platonic soulmates. Caduceus maybe even teaches Percy some of his peculiar healing magic? Percy may even start to learn some of the Wildmother lessons?

When Orthax comes to try to make a deal/possess Percy, Caduceus is not taking any shit from a fucking smoke demon stalking his little bro, that demon is not going to undo all his hard work so he exorcizes Orthax so hard that not even a speak of ash is left in the Grove.

Eventually a sign is given to Percy in the form of a dream that it is time to leave the Grove. After some sad days preparing for the trip, Percy and Caduceus say goodbye, promising that they will see each other again one day.

VM finds a slightly different Percy, less brooding, and more eccentric lol, kind of obsess with the beauty of the “dark side” of nature (as a coping mechanism) thanks to Caduceus teachings , like nature that handles the decay part of the life cycle, such as fungi and such, which would prompt even more BFF moments with Keyleth, but also make him hate the Briarwoods even more since vampires and necromancers go againts the natural cycle of life and death.

Percy is a little more trusting and emotional open to the team earlier on. He would still have some anger issues, but he’s seeking justice for his family and people instead of destructive revenge.

(I know, I know, Percy is OOC here, but I see a Percy that got to properly heal from his trauma and not be influenced by a literal demon would behave like he does when they went to the Feywild, a young man with shiny eyes, fascinated with the mysteries of the world again, and totally info dumping about his hyperfixations to his friends, more emotionally in tune with himself and not just repressing his emotions until he explodes in rage... most of the time, and I think it would be interesting to see how VM would interact with a mentally stable but still eccentric Percy)

TL,DR Caduceus gives Percy the therapy he always so desperately needed.

(also, to be honest, I started writing this one, but I stopped because I don't know how to write Caduceus, so far I just watched some of the more popular segments of him, but I don't want to start C2 until I finish with VM, so I need to read a few dozens of fics of him until I understand his personality, but I'm leaving the idea here because I would like to read au fics of Percy&Caduceus having adventures and how other authors would imagine how their dynamics could work)
