Honestly I don’t know T.T I only play on console and I’ve never tried any of the mods. I do have tboi on my pc but the brick struggles enough with the base game already and I don’t want it to explode lmao. I could try with my partner’s pc sometimes, but to be honest, I’m not very good at the game in general (and I haven’t played in literal years), so I think I wouldn’t really have fun with any of the mods. Fiend Folio seems interesting, but it’s too difficult for baby me, and I already hate melee characters so Samael wouldn’t be my first pick. My personal favourite character mod is Andromeda, but only because I like the design and the story i could build with it. Did you know that Andromeda is the wife of Perseus in Greek mythology? Now you do. I took that idea and ran with it and thus Perseus was born (and his askblog that’s NOT DEAD I PROMISE T.T)

As for what mods might appear in the story… I don’t know! When I first started coming up with concepts Samael had a decently big role in it. He was supposed to be the angel of death (before I gave that role to one of my OCs, Azrael) and his part in the story got shuffled around so now it’s actually Eden’s. He’s just kinda there now, I’m sorry skfjhskh maybe I’ll have him make a cameo sometimes.

Other than that there’s the Epiphany mod, but only Tarnished Judas has found a way into the story so far (link, link, link) and it’s here because I liked the idea of Judas fighting back against Belial’s possession and using his powers against him to save his loved ones.

Edith (does she count as a mod?) also exists in my universe I guess, but she’s literally a pillar of salt. For all intents and purposes she’s dead, but her soul is still trapped in the salt and can’t go to heaven yet. Thankfully God also put her into a deep sleep so she wouldn’t go completely mad, having to spend all eternity waiting for the Apocalypse. Have a link.

Rebekah does exist in my universe, but I made the OC waaaay before I knew a mod existed with the same name. I had an inside joke with a friend that Mod Rebekah was just a fangirl who was obsessed with Isaac and his comics, but it was a bit dumb and it never got past the joke stage lol. I’m not going to have a yandere in my story for now.

I guess also Fiend from Fiend Folio could technically exist in my AU? He’d be just a regular demon, so he’s probably kicking around in Hell right now. I don’t really know what he might do in the story, probably not much, but I’m keeping him in mind as a wild card I could always use.

What kind of Plants vs Zombies players I think the reboot cast of Total Drama are (I’m slowly losing my mind)

Priya- definitely played and completed every single game. She still plays the first one for Endless and Last Stand and sometimes plays the second one for Penny's Pursuit. Has every single plant except the ones you have to buy for real money.

Bowie- Has played and completed the second one, has almost every $5 plant. Played the first one for a bit but then got bored. Has tried Heroes and enjoyed it (he's a Rose and Electric Boogaloo main)

Caleb- Has heard of it, but never actually played it. Priya FREAKED when she found out and is trying to get him into it.

Raj- Has played both 1 and 2, but enjoys 2 more because he loves Frostbite Caves; has a 100+ win streak in Icebound Battleground. Favorite plant is Snowpea.

Wayne- Same exact thing as Raj; they like to play side by side together on their phones. Favorite plant is Iceberg Lettuce.

Millie- Has played a little bit of 1 but stopped at the Night levels. She likes the design of it.

Julia- Only played the first one so she could use the Zen Garden and post about how "ethical" she was. Now that she revealed her true self, she doesn't do it as much but she sometimes likes to come back to check up on her plants.

MK- Uses weird mods and hacks for 1 and 2. Probably has some bullshit deck in Heroes like the Soul Patch Forcefield one or an insanely powerful Pet deck.

Ripper- Og player, has beaten 1 but not 2. He only really remembers it every few months and comes back to play some minigames. Still regularly plays GW and Heroes though. Super Brainz ahh main.

Chase- Definitely only plays the Xbox version. He makes weird challenge videos like "BEATING PVZ WITH ONLY WALNUTS AND POTATO MINES 😱💥" and does insane Heroes deck gameplay. Plays GW with Ripper sometimes.

Zee- Has only played the second game but has somehow beaten it over 60 times on multiple different accounts. Didn't know the first game existed for a long time. Somehow also remembers playing the 3rd game.

Axel- Literally only plays the first game, Endless and Last stand only and has the highest streak ever for both.

Emma- Played the first one and had beaten it, just getting into the second one. She likes watching people play it rather than playing it herself.

Nichelle- Couldn't beat Zomboss in the first game and ragequit.

Damien- Only plays PvZ Heroes. Professor Brainstorm and Green Shadow main; has almost every card in the game and has a really high rank in arena.

The next few months went by much quicker and better. Erik went to work but was in a better mood now that he had a new goal and worked towards something. He was modding games, making plugins and hacking into systems for money. He created a good portfolio for himself and applied at some digital offices he could work at.

Meanwhile Momo's police work was also taking off. They were very busy but managed to find happiness in it. They still got mails and fangifts from people of Strangerville for saving their town. BUT!

- that said 6 times out of 10, if you look behind (after feeling like somebody is watching you), Rook will be there smiling goofily at your person and his finger would've sending you hearts. The other 4 is when he's watching you fr and doesn't WANT you to notice him.

- Rook is very loud and says whatever is on his mind (I would hit him if I was Vil), which is why you sometimes have to ground him and remind him not to say something. But also, he kind of speaks in riddles? But not riddles? Like, his words don't always mean what he wants to say and it's on you to pick up on that.

- Rook is a very family based guy. Like, he loves his own and definitely dreams of having one at some point, so be prepared for that.

- Rook is very silly and you have to live with that. I believe one of your past time activities is playing dress up - Rook dresses you up and you dress up Rook and then you take a bunch of pictures that later go into his album... or more of them (he's still very creepy)

OKAY SO.

As I'd mentioned back then in my Phantom Liberty Tour post, only a few of those who attended got to playtest the game themselves, while the rest got to see about an hour-long preview. And they didn't showcase much of the new abilities/skills beyond what they were gonna use in combat, and let's say... the V they showed was super flashy, his combat style looked super fun, but couldn't have been further from my playstyle xD Like... the finishers and stuff look amazing, but that's not something I'm gonna have much use for with my low-on-cyberware build that relies heavily on stealth and hacking really (but that I really really enjoy).

So I was a bit worried the whole time, low-key, how the fun would look like for a player like me. And now I finally got to play around in the build planner (https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/build-planner if you wanna have a go, but contains mild PL story spoilers - but again, you're reading this, so maybe you don't care as much for mild spoilers XD)

Looking at everything, especially the new stuff... MAN... :eyes emoji: x1000

I was worried Tech wouldn't be as useful for my low-on-cyberware build anymore, as it is very tied to that now BUT... it's also tied to the health item/ grenade cooldown, and, as before, enhances Tech-Weapons very nicely like... I think along with INT I'd like to make Tech my other 20 Ability. In combination with some of the new hacking abilities (overclocking your cyberdeck?? FUCK YEAH THAT IS... SO ÖAKHSFASDÖASJD that is *such* a thing Vince would do like öasjhdföasf when I saw that I screamed) it's so badass... I think it's gonna work really well together.

The only thing I haven't found that I'm a bit sad about was a Ninjutsu skill that let you pounce on enemies from above (I don't recall the name)... either I overlooked it or it's now integrated into some of the new movement stuff :O but even then, the new movement stuff?? Faster climbing?? Hello, where have you been all my life XDD

Also not to mention the abitlity to queue quickhacks that was teased in one of the trailers already like maaaaaan... Also a lot of counter-hacking abilities against enemy netrunners, CARHACKING... and I get the feeling, from some of the skill descriptions, how cyberware in general works (in the sense that, it reads as if you can upgrade it the way you could upgrade clothing and armour now? but not 100% sure, that would be awesome o.o) was really fundamentally changed.

Also, like... of all the arm cyberware the monowire was always the one where I said "this would be the one Vince *might* consider getting out of all of them, if he was forced to get one", and I don't really know how it was skilled previously... but now it's very closely tied to quickhacking and Intelligence, so one more reason why it would fit him the most XD Still don't think I'd get it cause... yeah, it would just not fit him as a character that much and the way he sees cyberware XD But I love that as a little sidenote.

I'm a little bit... hmm, not quite disappointed, but I would've expected something different from the Relic skilltree actually. I mean, it is very very cool, but also, again, the majority of the skills in there isn't really gonna be useful for my playstyle. And I wonder... if maybe you get advantages or disadvantages beyond extra abilities (read: story-related consequences) if you put a lot of points into it, with how these skills are unlocked >.> *suspicious noises*

But yeah... Usually I'm not looking forward to the updates as much cause... mods break xD But I really am looking forward to trying all of this in game now o.o But it's gonna be... such a difference like hhh...

I'm definitely not gonna start over a new save just to play PL, cause I simply don't have that time atm XD But I'm extremely looking forward to my 3rd fresh playthrough and seeing the skills grow over time instead of setting them all in one go xD

In Oracle Angelus is good at a more techy IT sorta approach to fixing things. On top of drawing one of his other favorite things to do is make mods for games he likes to play or games friends or family are playing and want things not already available and will happily help if someone broke a game by incorrectly installing something or wrong placement. Very into jailbreaking phones. He loves to reverse engineer programs. Trevor is currently teaching him all he knows about cars. Also, also, also! Since he's a werewolf he's got "close ties to nature" so like all werewolves he kinda has this...sixth sense about plant life so he or any werewolf for that matter can totally help nurture your plants back to health.

On the other hand given the year and place Jelani was born in yeah he can absolutely fix most anything that's broken in and around the house. His dad and uncle are engineers so whenever he and Loke visit their parents back home he likes to help his dad and uncle with personal or work related projects. His aunt's a vet, back in ye olden times she was the one that tended to cattle, pets and other animals and Jelani was always right there assisting (huge animal lover and nerd. Always said that if he wasn't doing what he does he'd be a zoologist or biologist). When he visits his parents he'll make time to visit his aunt and help her like he used to as a kid. So yeah, he can tend to wounds, illnesses and stuff.

They do go to and rely on each other for things the other knows and can help. Even if one doesn't know what the other is doing they love to watch and help and in Angelus's case ask a million questions.

In Fallout Jelani can take apart, clean, oil and put back together ANY weapon you put in front of him. Any. He can fix any too and has even gone so far as to Frankenstein several weapons to max out their usefulness and deadliness. Gungnir, his anti-material sniper rifle, is a prime example of it. The damn thing is so highly customized that it's almost impossible for anyone else to properly use it. Loke taught him a bit about maintaining and fixing armor, Jela's got the basics down but for the more complicated stuff he goes to Loke. Jela's also been known to modify turrets, traps and other security as well as fixing them whenever they get damaged after attacks. Can fix computers, hack them and even fixed that old pip-boy Loke found.

Given his upbringing and lifestyle Angelus doesn't really know much of anything about fixing or maintaining anything. But he's been learning from Jelani how to clean and maintain weapons. Weapons kind of elude him and he's not too good with guns yet but he's proven to be a fast learner. He also helps Jelani whenever he's about fixing stuff. Angelus quickly learned that Jelani likes to keep himself busy as a form of distraction to avoid shit so he's always on the lookout for dirty, discarded or broken weapons and brings them to him and it's great for both helping Jela and for bonding.

In Skyrim Angelus was pretty much waited on hand and foot. He never had to do much of anything. Why when you have a bunch of servants doing anything and everything? However, his move to Skyrim when he ran away was a shock to the system though he still carries that mentality of "why fix it when you can just buy it again?" His time with Loke, Jelani and Uthorim have turned him around. Mostly. He found that Jelani will at times resurrect plants and flowers that have died in the garden because at times Loke can be very busy with patients. He kinda took a liking to gardening and in a way it feels like he's repaying Lo, Jela and Uth back by keeping the garden plentiful and healthy which is where Lo gets his ingredients and has a bit of a "shrine" for his parents and it helps for when Jela's not home. Since Angelus is the one that stays at home he's stopped being a diva and helps out around the manor keeping it clean and organized.

Jela on the other hand will help him clean but can fix stuff around the manor so they team up to keep things in order as Lo and Uth are the busiest of the four of them. Jela can maintain weapons though not really fix 'em. Being a mercenary and a member of Lady Valerica's court means things get damaged from stabs or slashes and he's learned to fix things which Angelus likes to watch him do and prompts him to ask a million questions.

Back Again

After only a month

For the record, Demi and Shawna are very much in love and like being together, no matter what those dumb fear blurbs keep saying.

Anyway, I've been working to have Demi graduate so that I don't have to continue playing through the least interesting aspects of university, and I'm glad to say that she's graduated!! She finished all the schooling, has a degree, and can get a job where she is immediately boosted to level 8 right off the bat.

But not before trying to nudge her position in the spirit club by getting at the dumb Dragons,

and then trying to make a robot and almost dying.

While that was happening, I decided to try to give more of a focus on Eva and Ali, since they are both carriers of the short end of the stick (they fight over it). Ali is increasing her computing knowledge by learning to hack things, simply modding games isn't enough for her anymore. She doesn't bother changing her grades, a C is fine, right? Besides, she wouldn't get 100 smackaroonies from cheating her grades.

She tries to brag about it to her family, but she's really the one computer-savvy person. Things are somehow less impressive when you have to elaborate so much.

So far, both Ali and Eva have one friend each, who are not connected to the Brokes in any fashion, and that's okay with me. Ali usually facetimes her friend, but Eva's friend tends to come with her after school.

Oh yeah, side note, I gave Ali a bit of a makeover, I felt like she looked too,,, old? She feels a little bit more like a teenager to me now. Eva also got a makeover.

Slight reason for concern, because it seems that someone is out to get the Landgraab's, after Ashlee (Shawna's sister) and Eva (Shawna's step-mother) are killed in quick succession. Fortunately, Shawna doesn't have the name or fortune of the Landgraab's, only the face of one. And that's not a crime.

After hearing news of Ashlee's death, Shawna visited the Landgraab mansion, and met her brother, Nick Landgraab.

He has an unfortunate hairline.

Around the same time, Demi's final term of school was coming to a close, and she was really stressed about it.

I had her go to an office hours for one of the classes, and it said that she would fail it if she didn't shape up (which was concerning for multiple reasons), so I had her use the research machine that Shawna has for work, and it seems like it did something, because she didn't get anything below a B for her final grades!

After she got her final grade, she took herself out on the town, and worked on her comedy (definitely needed some work).

The next day was her graduation ceremony, where, like Shawna before her, she celebrated with people she did not know at all, went into a rabbit hole, and is officially done with school! Hooray for Demi!!

extremiun yapping about my current sims gameplay below lmao

i think i've had some really interesting sims gameplay for the first time in a while (for me personally) and it's all because i've been struggling with getting my sim's love life started.

usually it's so easy, but i'm doing my best to take relationship differences into consideration and not just jumping into something unhappy (for the long run at least....she's definitely jumped head first into am unhappy relationship & situationship lol).

but the upside is that everything else has been going great and i love that. she graduated high school early, got a distinguished degree in computer science, enough scholarships to give her a full ride, and even graduated uni before aging up to a young adult (though that is specifically because of the shorter uni mod lmao). she started at level 8 in her career and is now level 9 i believe and what was once the shitty starter home in copperdale has now been upgraded to a pretty decent house—without cheating! of course it doesn't look great on the outside because i'm not a builder, but it's what's inside that counts <3

i have one more potential beau for her in mind before i give it up for a little while and just have her adopt a kid (because she really wants to start her family now). and i say adopt because despite her having high fertility, she's been struggling getting pregnant, which is so insane to me considering her longtime situationship (wolfgang munch) ALSO has high fertility.

honestly, she's in her depression era rn (she gained the gloomy trait), so idk if i want to explore that final potential love interest just yet. she currently has the soulmate aspiration, but i think i'll change it to a nature one. i want her to reconnect with her old hobby of fishing since she doesn't have to do it for money anymore. and maybe this will help move along the storyline of her meeting and befriending her final potential love interest. since she hasn't really put much effort into her friendships in a while. usually she'd talk to people enough to know them and then she'd add them on social bunny and the relationships would take off from there.

honestly, it's been so fun having her life have its ups and downs.

in the beginning, she was social awkward and hot headed (which were randomized traits), which inspired my storyline that her parents unexpectedly died and the rest of her family took most of her inheritance (which she ended up getting a little bit of back through that one pop up), so she had to move to copperfield and majorly downsize from her previous wealthy life (since i dressed her up all rich girl preppy before i came up with a storyline).

i changed her traits to outgoing and self-assured when she aged up because being socially awkward and hotheaded did nothing to deter her from making hella friends and fast too. and because of this, through the talents & weaknesses mod, i also gave her the talent of being charismatic. i also eventually gave her the talent for programming bc it really came to her so easily; i think she leveled uo pretty quick and always had successful hacks even when she had a lower skill.

going back to her love life bc i cant stop fixating on it and that's where most of the ups & downs lie.

primarily, i'm obsessed with the constant push & pull between her and wolfgang. even though he prefers non-exclusive relationships and she prefers exclusive ones, which caused their most recent split (still unofficial as of now bc my game kept bugging out too much for me to get anywhere else, so now i must wait for the next weekend).

but to start from the beginning: in high school, malcom landgraab asked her to prom and i was gonna do a storyline where she dated him briefly to be petty since wolfgang was playing around (and also bc she was lowkey freaked by him since he kept somehow barging into her house???), but he literally never spoke to her again after he ditched her at prom (that HE invited her to mind you).

anyways, my sim (helena) decided to invite wolfgang to the usual prom after party at the pier (which i'm pretty sure he got dressed up for despite not going to prom. and i had them go on the scary ride first and then i tried helena's luck with the romantic ride and it worked!!! wolfgang was feeling her like she was feeling him and theu shared their first kiss!! but then he started playing games afterwards. which, come to find out, he viewed her as basic looking. for the longest time i thought they struggled to gain romance because wolfgang was mean & gloomy, but no!

so after that, i started trying to have helena forget about wolfgang and try out some other options.....which she didnt get very far. i was going to have her date this guy named ocean from her uni, but she got wrapped back up in wolfgang and those two ended up becoming friends with benefits.

very soon after, she became queerplatonic partners with aurelio.

now, her and aurelio became quick besties in their later teen years and i was shipping them so hard until i read his sim bio and learned that he was aroace. but they did end up getting a bit of romance even after i secured his preferences (or lack thereof) in CAS, but he also had a dislike for flirtation so there was that. later on, though, i remembered i had the mod that can specify orientation, so i made him romance/relationship favorable (though i wish i had kept it at indifferent) and woohoo averse.

i think i missed up at one point by choosing an interaction where she asked aurelio to be more than friends bc i really didnt think it did anything lmaooooo but they ended up becoming bf & gf. which sucked bc she had to break up with him twice....and this was bc he had the jealous trait and kept antagonizing her about their relationship problems??? despite them having only been together for not even a full sim day, i dont think????

chile, anyways...

i'm pretty sure she had also ended her fwb relationship with wolfgang for aurelio bc i totally forgot about that before starting anything with aurelio.

but honestly it didnt really mean anything bc i had her invite him (and others) over for new year's for a little dinner party (which idk why i do parties in my game anymore bc they never work right), and they ended up banging on the couch, in front of jeb & ocean (who, btw, also propositioned her for sex....which i accepted at first, but then denied immediately after). i felt bad for having them do that in the living roo. bc aurelio literally left the house (he was staying over btw).

anyways, after all that craziness. she ended up inviting wolfgang over again and they whoohoo'd a lot. which is where we discovered that despite bith her and wolfgang having high fertility, helena just was not getting pregnant. apparently she is also prone to having issues during pregnancy, so i'm worried about that.

due to them not getting pregnant naturally, i was gonna have helena ask wolfgang to have a science baby with her, but like i saod earlier, this is where my game really started to lag so bad i genuinely couldn't get anybody to do anything.

this era is so sad bc i had extended the house and redecorated for a potential baby and it just wasnt happening, so i ended up deleting all the baby stuff and turning the extra room into a guest room.

but i also feel bad bc i wanted helena to move out of copperdale tbh (also i might've called it copperfield somewhere earlier. i found one incident & changed it, but i could've sworn there was another, but i'm not looking for it). but i like the progress i've made on her house, i'd feel too sad to move out already. but the lot honestly isn't big enough anymore. i think i want her to have a pool even though it's still early spring in my game rn (i think i want to change the length of the seasons tho....a week is just too short).

also, i think i might finally make that switch to long life span....i want to cherish helena's young adult years, especially with what i have planned. and i dont want her adult years to be rushed either.

i'm hoping she either finds genuine love and friendship with this ken guy she had a sexy dream about once, or wolfgang suddenly wants to settle down....or maybe, she'll find someone else idk. i wish i had a proper computer setup so i wouldnt be so irritated by the lag that happens whenever going off my home lot, bc i'd love for helena to go out clubbing and exploring.

either way, i'm excited for her to adopt a child too. i definitely think that will be the next step for her, especially with her problems with conceiving. and i think i'll finally move to the world that came with the horse pack, bc i havent done a single damn thing with that pack yet (besides this one random sim i made live there at one point, her save was a random throwaway save tho). i only just recently seen an actual horse in game with helena bc aurelio'a family adopted one. i've pretty much been everywhere else.

anyways, i think i'm all yapped out about my current sim. i can't wait to play her again, but i might just wait until school is officially out until i do play my game again. i'm so invested in helena's story, just playing on weekends isnt going to cut it anymore.

i really do hope this is the gameplsy where i can actually continue a legacy. but if it is, i desperately need to start taking more pics with helena's friends. i missed their teen years (besides with wolfgang...of course), i don't want to miss their young adult ones.

creative break is over!

yeah...sometimes I don’t have any energy to work on creative stuff...but now I’m back baby! And I got soo many ideas for videogames! Sadly, I’m bad at programming. But hey, nothing a good tutorial can’t fix, right? With...exceptions - looking suspiciously at Blender - 

Seriously, it’s so difficult to get into that...I tried doing step by step what the tutorial said and it still somehow didn’t work...anyways, I’ll try my luck with 2D Unity! Maybe, if I can get better at hand-drawn animations, I won’t need a 3D tool!

One of the ideas is a .hack//- pokemon crossover game in the style of Gold and Silver. With Pokemon Essentials, because I can’t mod a romhack to save my life. I think the trainer sprites will be the most difficult to create, since i am not used to pixel such small pictures with so little detail...the map itself could prove a challenge, because I have to resize the tiles small and then big again.

To change the subject, I watched again a Let’s Play from 13 Sentinels and GOD I LOVE HIJIYAMA x OKINO QAQ They’re so cute together, I just can’t! fhsdiofhd

So I tried also drawing Hijiyama from 2188, but it proves more difficult than I thought. I just don’t have good observation skills, and I’m not sure if you can learn that...I drew him six or seven times, but I guess that’s not enough. I won’t give up though. On the fun side, I created a Hijiyama Chibi that looks like a muppet which I thought looked weird. In a good way.

On the other hand, I got the feeling I am very mopy these last months. A real downer. Which isn’t good, because my close friend is also very sad and I don’t want to burden her with my own sadness, yknow? I should be cheering her up! But I suppose sometimes you can’t just up and decide how you want to feel today. I want to snap out of it so badly though. It doesn’t help me in any way to be down in the dumps, and it doesn’t help others either. It’s just stupid. 

My therapist claims though that it’s important to feel your feelings, no matter how bad they are, because else you train your body to feel nothing which leads to emotional outbursts, which sucks even more. I can’t win, huh?

Oh! I started to watch Oshi no Ko, even though I told myself I wouldn’t, because of its dark themes. I mean, I was spoiled, so it wasn’t as bad as going in completely blind, but the first episodes ending was still a tearjerker. What can I say? I can’t resist a colorful premise. It doesn’t help that one of the protagonists is really cute too. It’s Madoka Magica all over again.

I gotta go now though. Nothing necessarily special happened while I was gone, I just bingewatched 13 Sentinels and drowned a little bit in feels. I don’t want to sound creepy, but, that’s why I love fiction. Because it makes you feel things. My reality doesn’t quite manage that. Maybe I just got too high standards. Maybe Oshi no Ko is right, and love is made out of lies. Who knows.
