Oh hey the pound came back at some point today, nice!

I'm still thinking but I might wanna spin the wheel on the Yurble options. I always felt like Yurbles were one of the pets really screwed over by being forced into an awkward customization-ready pose. And I'd be fine with any of the three possibilities. Granted Faerie and Grey both look better than Darigan, but hey, at least Darigan would show off some team spirit next time the Altador Cup rolls around!

Skeith and Hissi are also major "oh wow customization ruined these" species, so I thought about those too, but while the UC Darigan Skeith is AWESOME the Grey one is kinda meh. Don't want to use extra NC just to guarantee Darigan. As for the Hissi... let's be real, the best Hissi option isn't even available yet (unless you're counting pre-existing UCs).

Having a plushie of your f/o is amazing, but also, consider: your f/o having a little plushie of you. Even if they're considered to be cold and stoic, they treat the plushie as their most beloved possession– because it is. They take care of it, they keep it near whenever they're watching or playing something, they even give it a goodnight kiss before holding it tight and falling asleep.

AAAAHH!!! I think I have found the style I love so so much! I used to draw quite similar to this within my first few months of getting into Welcome Home, but I think I have improved a lot!! oh they totally do my first thought would be James making them matching friendship bracelets and later in their teen years Regulus rolls his eyes at them and says they’re stupid (he wears it every single day) but when it breaks from him using it so much James finds him crying about it i’m not even talking about just a couple tears he’s filling bawling. It doesn’t even take twenty minutes before James is putting a new one on (and one for himself too so they’re still matching) and he puts Regulus’ broken one and his old one in a box so they can still stay together as a pair

To say that you weren’t a bit surprised that Jamil had agreed to join you to the local summer carnival would be a lie. But much to your surprise, and his own, he had agreed to your invitation… well also was basically forced to take a day off work and he had “nothing better to do”, his words, not yours.

Yes, he was clutching onto the railing of every single ride, he protested a little but still went on them. And you could have sworn that besides the hissed curse words and snippets of praying, you could hear the tiniest bit of laughter over the sound of children and adults screaming. He didn’t leave the park even after he was chased around by a hornet that wanted some of his food. Jamil had even won you the 'so ugly it's cute' snake plush from that basketball game. He even reluctantly shared some of that overpriced snow cone with the strawberry syrup; it was a tad too sweet for him, you seemed to enjoy it so he decided to give it a shot.

“I’m surprised that you came,” you hummed, shovelling a spoon of the sweet treat into your mouth. 

Jamil took his spoon and got a small scoop of the shaved ice. “Why wouldn’t I? You invited me.” I like spending time with you. “Today was… enjoyable I guess.”

You rolled your eyes at him, “Aw, come on, Jamil, admit that you had a little bit of fun, it won’t hurt ya.” Even when you were waiting in line for over an hour, he stuck with you. “You deserve to have some fun, to let loose. You work yourself too hard.”

Jamil raised a brow and looked at you. The setting sun cast warm light on your face, and he quickly looked away. “Fine, I had fun today,” he relented. “And thank you for thinking of me. Despite the screaming children, it was fun. And I suppose I will try to let loose.”

“Don’t forget about the hornet that chased you arou-” You stopped talking and stifled a coughed-out laugh at the face he was giving you for bringing up that incident again. He had to rip your phone out of your hands to delete the video you took, he didn’t need Kalim to see that or everyone else working at the Al-Asim estate for that matter. “I mean, I’m glad that you had fun. I like spending time with you.”

Jamil looked back to your face, and he saw the orange sun reflected in your eyes. “I like spending time with you too,” he offered you a small smile.

The way the setting sun backlit Jamil made him look ethereal, glowing even, and you paused and just looked at him in silence for a few moments before snapping out of it. “If you want we can come back another time, maybe I’ll even be able to beat you at that basketball game!”

He let out a single chuckle, he was being a lot more relaxed with you and he couldn’t place when he had started doing so. He felt like he could be himself, and not the Jamil that everyone expected him to be. “I doubt it, you missed every single shot, no wonder you didn’t join the Basketball Club. If you want to come back, there’s a festival happening in August at the estate for the meteor shower if you wanted to go again-”

“Are you asking me on a date?” You asked, looking at him with wonder and teasing.

Jamil hummed, “If I were to do so, would you accept?”

“Yeah, if you were asking, I would always say yes,” you said.

He gave you a smile, a genuine smile, a window into the true Jamil. “Well then, would you like to go on a date… with me?”

You reached your hand across the table, palm facing up, “I’d love to.”

Jamil looked down at your hand and then back up to your face, placing his hand in yours. “Then it’s a date.”

wondering when eiden would have gotten good enough at plushie making to create his entire harem in doll form. ...possibly around the time blade showed up. eiden got a lot of practice making thousands of Eiden Plushies as gifts 🤣

imagining how eiden starts to do a lot of impromptu "visualisation" exercises when blade joins the roster

BLADE: but why was lil yakumo embarrassed when i showed garugaru the box in front of-- EIDEN: (sighing goodnaturedly) ok, say..um *grabs the nearest two items* pretend this cup is garu, and this spoon is yakumo---

after some repetition, eiden wonders if blade will understand better if he just has dolls representing everyone thus begins the plushie brigade

I also think this has happened at the Baratie. Zeff has seen his son pass out several times because he didn't want to sleep. Because he didn't want to have nightmares anymore.

Zeff offered to let him sleep in his bed, and as soon as the boy was safe in his fathers arms, he was clinging to him like a lifeline, and sleeping peacefully for the first time in a while.

I also think Zeff got him a plushie to try and help with his nightmares. It's a pig named Bacon that only Usopp knows he still sleeps with.

This has been happening ever since Sanji was a little kid and to say Zeff was concerned is an understatement. Besides, he didn't know what to do when he noticed for the first time-- So he did the most logical thing and, idk, tell him to sleep with him. And he thought Sanji would say no but he accepts right away and hugs him so tight. Sanji still shivers and talks in his sleep but at least he can sleep and Zeff has to say he also feels safer when he can have the boy in his arms to make sure he is okay.

Also, the plushie thing,,, I have a plushie of a shark that for some reason reminds me of Sanji so I always say he had a shark plushie when he was a kid. But?? Sanji having a pig also makes perfect sense. He is so embarrassed about it though and the only one who knows is Usopp because when they started dating and sleeping on the same bed Sanji wouldn't stop fidgeting. Until he ended up having to tell Usopp he needed his plushie to sleep and the sniper thinks he is stupid bc he could've told him way sooner. Usopp thinks the plushie is the cutest thing ever.
