welcome to another embraced addition of the new newcrest scheme. newcrest as we know it is dead, and latte da is proof! part of mayor alto's plan to encourage deep-pocketed san myshuno residents to invest in our humble town, the llama lagoon strip has been slowly undergoing an extensive (and expensive) modernisation! don’t ask yourself “who’s paying for this?” that’s not important, ask yourself “do i believe in the future?” the answer is: you do! and there is nothing more promising than yet another coffee chain opening it’s doors in a small town to sell overpriced coffee to sims who don’t want it. come down to latte da and taste the bitter future!

if you're wondering why bob is here it's bc in the original villareal story there was a very minor background detail that diego lobo and bob pancakes dated in college and broke up tragically and that's where the story peaked. so i included him it's still canon

i did these in my this is the fall sim style so i'm thinking. if they exist in this universe what's all their opinions on the 'did jacques do it' situation. let's take a look

don: saw a photo of jacques's wife on the news during the investigation. said "whoa mama that's a hot babe!" like johnny bravo and did not read the headline. does not know anything about it still.

vlad: well he's psychic he could figure out the truth if he actually cared. and he has!

olive: obviously respects it. except for the getting investigated part, would never happen to her.

diego: does not think jacques did it but enjoys the tabloids. knows other rich people personally who he thinks have killed their spouses

morgyn: will post things like "friendly reminder that j*cques v*llareal literally killed his wife and is a billionaire so maybe don't go to one of their hotels" on tumblr and will then do a call out post about like a fanfic writer who wrote an unhealthy relationship with more severity

pascal: knows conspiracy theories and this one is bullshit. or maybe it just doesn't interest him as much as aliens and that's why he thinks that

jeb: has a very "well of course he did. them rich folk can do whatever they want. there ain't no hope for the rest of us" while kicking a can down the road approach

bob: thinks he did it. is very alarmed that it was brushed off. eliza's like bob book the hotel and he's like am i going crazy. does anyone hear me.

i tried to keep the features ea gave them and the overall maxis match look. i hope they're still recognizable.

i'm undecided about whether matthew should only have stubble or a full on beard.

devin ended up with such a cute baby face lol maybe i softened his features too much. according to sims wiki he's supposed to be based on ashton kutcher but he's giving justin bieber debut era. idk if i should butch him up a little. he's the bridgeport twunk!

i was intrigued by devin's bio which states he wants to become an actor, and he has an obsession with A-list movie star matthew hamming. this is interesting to explore: does devin want to be with matthew, or does he want to be matthew? i sense some inner turmoil/identity crisis brewing beneath his pretty surface...

i'm here for the devin ashton x matthew hamming dark gay psychological romance thriller about fame and the entertainment world, set in the glamorous & gritty city of bridgeport......

I'M OFFICIALLY DONE! I managed to complete all of my townies' makeovers, and they are now all queued to be released next month. If you've missed a makeover, you can check out all of my updated townies here!

It's great timing because I think I'll be a little away during November cough cough DA:TV cough cough, but I should be able to include the Ravenwood townies at the end of the queue (fingers crossed).

Now that they’re done, I can focus on the one biggest request I’ve been receiving over the past few years:

I've managed to break down the CC used in all my makeovers. I'm still figuring out how I'll upload this and will probably link some items, especially ones that might be more prone to breaking. But I'm optimistic it’ll be download-friendly.

I’m also doing some tweaks here and there with the townies, giving them a bit more personality with likes and dislikes, turn-ons/offs, and some family dynamics.

I still need to figure out the post "thumbnail" (or feature image), and to be honest, that’s the hardest part for me. I want to create something cool that shows all the townies, but I’m struggling to come up with a nice design/template for it. I’ll eventually come up with something, BUT if you enjoy creating templates and feature images and would like to help, PLEASE send me a DM, and we can discuss it!
