Thank you! And Re: Haizaki...
I do think that Haizaki is another victim of Teiko, and Nijimura, the only one who understood him, ended up leaving, so Haizaki really had no support system at home or at school. However, I would say that Haizaki getting kicked out of the club was inevitable the way he was going. You don't come to practice or games unless someone beats your ass and physically drags you into the gymnasium? It sucks, but getting kicked out is just a consequence of his actions. Didn't help that he was showing no remorse on top of it.
HOWEVER, this is an instance where the coach should have stepped up. A big issue with Teiko is that none of the adults on the basketball team ever did their fucking jobs. They should be the ones addressing Haizaki about his behavior, trying to turn him around, and making the executive decision to remove him if he doesn't improve. Instead, they left it to a 14 y/o kid, which shows just how hands-off they were the whole time, even when things were going well. A lot of the problems the team had would have been mitigated or even prevented if the adults in the series intervened. But they let these kids do what they wanted, and that's why everything was so messy and chaotic. And then Sanada stopped taking action against people skipping because he didn't want to lose Aomine since he was so strong, which then led to Murasakibara questioning the point of coming to practice. Mind you, Akashi predicted that this exact problem would happen if Haizaki was still allowed to play in games even after skipping practice.
Speaking of Akashi, yes, his other side was peeking out whenever he would talk about Haizaki, so yes, he was being victory-brained while making these choices. But then, when you remember that he's victory-brained because of his shitty upbringing and also because his father is only letting him play basketball as long as he wins (according to the anime, anyway), you can see why he makes these decisions with little regard to other alternatives. While thinking about the morale of the team, he is also protecting his own interests, which goes back to his other self being that protector for the original Akashi.
So, do I think removing Haizaki from the team was fair? Yes. Akashi didn't appreciate Sanada letting Aomine skip either. He was literally just trying to keep team morale up without resorting to bending the rules. You can argue that it was more convenient for Akashi to kick Haizaki out instead of talking to him and getting to the root of his problem, however, I still think that should have been the adult's job. Most, if not all that happened in Teiko could have been avoided if the dirty work wasn't left up to literal children, but that's just me.
Guys I must apologise because I don’t like Akashi that much, but I’m following a lot of Akashi’s stans on Tumblr
Please use this post as an excuse to give all the reasons people should love Akashi, I want to like him too as well

Revenge Game
Anime: Kuroko no Basuke
Pairing: Kise Ryouta X Reader
Overview: You are Kise's S/O in the timeline where they had to face the Jabberwocks.
•-–-•
"The Jabberwocks?!" You stood up in your seat, walking towards your boyfriend who is casually drinking water acting like what he just said was not a big deal. "You got to be kidding me Ryou, you saw how they played agains-" Kise placed the glass down heavily as if he had the intention to break it.
You saw his eyes, you know this look.
You know this too well.
His eyes sparked with anger and excitement.
"I did, (y/n)-cchi. That is why I have to play, I'm not going to seat back and watch those fuckers mock us." You sighed, with him like this, no matter what you say or do to stop him, even if you break an arm or two, Kise will still have his way. Stubborn but that's one of his likeable trait, well, for you, that is.
When he sets his mind into something, he'll definitely succeed with a hundred percent rate.
Kise pouted upon seeing you worried for him.
"(y/n)-cchi, I'm getting sad that you don't trust me." He cried making you shake your head at his antics, typical Kise. You wrapped your arms around his big frame, looking up you said, "Of course I trust you stupid! I just don't want them to hurt you! They play dirty!" Kise grinned and lifted you up, his hand supported you by placing it under your soft thighs, gaining much protest from you. "Ryou! I'm heavy!" You groaned while trying to break away from his grasp. This just made Kise chuckled and he gave your lips a small peck.
"You're not heavy! Who says you heavy! I can carry you all day, (y/n)-cchi..." You rolled your eyes at his flirtatious state, you didn't noticed that Kise is already moving towards the bedroom.
"But I rather want to see under me.." He winked at you before pinning you down the bed.
"Ryouta, we are supposed to eat!" Kise bent down and nibbled on your neck, you gasped at the sudden touch. "I want to start with the dessert first, do you mind?"
Kise was about to kiss you when his phone beeped. Uttering several complaints he grabbed his phone and saw that Kuroko has texted him. After seeing the text, he bolted up from the bed. "Sorry, (y/n)-cchi! But Kuroko-cchi is asking me to go now! Such a cockblocker." You throw the pillow at him and of course, he caught it. "You and your damn reflexes, go dummy." Kise gave you a flying kiss before taking a quick shower.
Right as he was about to open the door, he turned at you with his puppy-dog eyes mode on. "You're coming to watch right?"
He shouldn't even have to ask, it was obvious. You will always be there to support him even if it hurts to see him in pain. You were there even before they became the well-know Generation of Miracles.
You started to like Kise ever since he blocked a ball during a volleyball tournament. After that, you became his fan, his first ever fan, giving him refreshments and going to every game.
As his fame rises though, it became a different story.
He became hard to reach.
You gave up on Kise but the feelings stayed. You realised that you weren't just there as a fan, you have already fallen for him. Watching him play for Kaijou, the feelings grew especially at the time when their team lost to Seirin, you decided to try again. Kise thought of you as just a fan but the more he saw you, the more he got used to you, part of it was because the two of you are already comfortable seeing how you were both schoolmates in Teiko and Kaijou. Kise began to see you as his friend during the incident when you helped him with his injuries due to being mobbed by girls. He then always looked for you, always wanted to be with you. It took a lot of nagging and punches from Kasamatsu for him to notice his feelings for you.
After that, you two started dating and the rest is history as here you are now, still happy with each other despite the downsides.
Given the situation, there's no reason for you to not watch his game. You flicked his forehead and Kise scrunched his nose in pain. Before he could even start to cry being the big baby he is, you gave him a deep kiss. Your hands found it's way to pat his golden locks of hair.
Kise melted against your touch, you always knew how to give him strength.
You pulled away, staring deeply into his eyes as he blinked in confusion. You beamed and said, "I'll make sure to cheer for you very loud while wearing your jersey!"
Kise wanted to thank all the gods and goddesses upon seeing your lovely smile. He really was lucky to have you. He gave you another tight hug and several kisses. With that, he left and vowed to not only avenge Kasamatsu but to make his girlfriend proud.
A week has passed and it sucks not having your incredibly chatty and clingy boyfriend. You missed him, a lot. Still, you're happy whenever he calls you and give you an update. Even if it's during a random time. You can't help but chuckle at how excited he is.
Right now, you're currently in Roppongi.
Your family is known to have different businesses and one of them is a famous bar which has been passed into your care. Like always, you're checking the status of the place, helping out and gathering reports. Kise didn't like your workplace as you can't deny, it is place where trouble can happen now and then.
Akashi gladly helped by partnering with you and you gave an opportunity to have the best security there is.
But the night just started and there are some foreigners demanded to have the most luxurious private room while eyeing one of your employee with lust.
"Y-Yes, come this way sir." Your employee, Shiro, escorted them. Your blood boiled when you saw them slap her butt and laughed.
You gritted your teeth as you began to walk towards them. "Excuse me, welcome to our bar. I'm the owner of this place."
"I'll be in charge of this, Shiro-san." You whispered and she muttered a soft thankyou before going back to the counter.
That's when you got a good look at them, you recognised these people. "Jabberwocks?!" You thought as you hide your disgust with a smile. You mentally cursed, out of all you could meet, why did it have to be them?
You tried to keep yourself calm as they continued to make flirty comments with you. There's this one guy who you felt the most uncomfortable, it's the one who had a silver colored hair. He kept trying to be more touchy but you abruptly opened the door to their room, stopping him from whatever he was planning to do.
"Here you go, ring the bell when you guys are ready to order." You bowed and closed the door, hearing their disgusting comments.
"Man, she got this big ass and breast! I'd fuck her all night long."
"Dibs on her, I want to know if those beautiful lips can do wonders."
"Okay, punching a customer is not good for business.." You tried to calm your mind, stomping your way to the counter. Shiro, your employee immediately apologised and you just gave her a reassuring smile.
"I'll deal with them, I won't let you guys in danger." Saying that was easier said than done. They continued making a ruckus, you decided it was time for them to go.
You took the tray and went to deliver their last order. "Excuse me.." You opened the door just to see them towering a familiar figure before he got kicked.
"Kuroko!" You dropped the tray and went to his aid. This is it, the last straw. You stood infront of Kuroko and glared at them. "Alright sir, you have to leave." You were about to grab the phone to call security, but the man who you learned to be called as, Silver grabbed your arm. "Oh, look at her get so feisty." He licked his lips, his face was inches away from yours.
You slapped him, hard. Silver did not expect you to be this aggressive. He dropped your arm and placed his hand on where you have just touched him. He smirked, you were in big trouble now.
"You know? I don't really pick on pretty girls, but someone's being such a bitch."
Your eyes widened, everything happened too fast. You couldn't dodge his fist, he was just, too much. You fell to the ground, coughing out blood. "Stay away from my (y/n)-cchi!" Kise cradled you, you can feel him shaking from anger. "Ryouta? Why are you.." You continue to cough, he got you good there.
You felt dizzy. You heard Kise's voice gradually became distant as your vision became blurry before passing out.
Everyone can sense the tension from the room as Kise stood up, carrying you gently. "She's your girl? She could do better." Kise clicked his tongue, he was ready to pounce on him but Midorima placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Athlete's should settle their scores through sports, right?" Akashi stated.
Kise can't deny that he was right.
You and Kuroko were brought to the hospital for a quick check up. The doctor just said you were knocked out unconscious due to the sudden impact in the heart area.
"Rest assured, everything is actually okay. She just need to stay hydrated." Kise thanked the doctor.
"Just you wait, (y/n)-cchi. I'll beat them up tomorrow. I promise." He held your hand and kiss you.
Kise was relunctant to leave you in the hospital but they had to go. His heart dropped knowing you won't be there to cheer on him, your smile when saying you 'll be there flashed through his mind.
Kise may be perceived as happy-go-lucky, immature, but promises are something he never breaks. Never.
"Fuck!" You were running at full force despite the judgement of the doctors. You have arrived late to the game as you had just woken up from the hospital. They wanted you to rest up but no, you can't let Kise be alone right now.
You immediately saw the rest of the team. "Everyone! I'm sorry I'm late!" You sat beside Kuroko, who was surprised to see you. Everyone was concerned but you didn't care. You didn't even bother to greet the rest of team as you noticed Kise's ragged breathing. He was tired, your heart ached at his form.
You stood up, it was now or never. You took a deep breath and screamed with allyour might.
"KISE RYOUTA I LOVE YOU!"
The whole court went quiet, all eyes were now on you. "Is that chick a lunatic?" Kise smirked, you're the only one who can give him strength at a time like this.
Kise was able to pass throughSilver's defence and dunk the ball. Kise searched for you, your eyes met his. He was now in the zone.
You continued to cheer and he continued to score. He was slowly catching up to the Jabberwocks! The crowd went wild, your heart was beating so loud from excitement. Kise is really a different person when in game.
When Kise dropped to his knees you dashed towards the court. "How lame.." He sighed, he felt a little ashamed that he didn't last too long especially when a certain someone is watching.
"Don't be ridiculous! You did great." Although it felt good to be complimented by Akashi, it did not compare to you running towards him with that goofy smile on yo ur face and hugging him tightly even if his whole body aches.
"(y/n)-cchi.." You rested your forehead against his before leaning to kiss him.
"I'm proud of you, Ryouta."
BONUS
"(y/n)-cchi! That hurts!" Kise complained for the nth time, it started to irritate you now. You got up from the seat, calling your father. "Hi papa! Have you considered my proposition?" You eyes Kise who gave you an innocent smile.
"Yeah, about that Jabberwocks? Good. Cut off all resources connected to them. Thanks papa." You placed your phone on the nightstand before cuddling with your dramatic boyfriend.
No one hurts your Kise Ryouta and gets away with it.

It’s not my place to dictate how kny should have or should have not ended, though I can’t help but be a bit dissatisfied with all the deaths. Despite this, I can’t thank Koyoharu Gotouge enough for giving us this wonderful series full of wonderful characters!
So uh... did a lil end rewrite to let my faves be happy— tho this also includes ocs hahaha sorry for those of you who don’t necessarily care for oc works, I might write an alternative end like this again without them...
((Kaise is my bby along with Hotaru and Makoto; Hiromi and Hanae belong to @fifteenskies15 ; Hinami belongs to @brinthie ; and of course a lil @seiiblue cameo))
Happily Ever After || kny alternate ending (canons x ocs)
Bleary eyes blinked open, taking a moment to adjust to the light. Muffled voices greeted the girl’s ears as she tried to sit up, but steady hands gently pushed her back to the ground. She recognized the uniforms of the people hovering over her now. Kakushi.
Does that mean the fight is over...?
The girl went to speak, but her throat felt too dry and her lungs heaved in pain.
Without having to ask, or really being able to, a voice answered all her burning questions.
“Muzan is dead. We won, Akashi-sama. We won.”
The words were surreal to her. They had really done it.
Kaise stayed on the ground upon the kakushi’s stern commands. They were tending to her various wounds, covering the frail girl in layers and layers of bandages. She squeezed her eyes closed and hissed with pain every time cold ointment met her open wounds. The girl also grasped firmly at the ground, closing tight fists around grass and dirt. That’s when she noticed her legs felt completely numb.
“My...” she rasped before coughing, the Kakushi tending to her looked worried “my.. legs..”
“You still have them! Don’t worry! Just some wounds, the numbness will pass.” A different kakushi than before assured her “now please, lie still.”
The girl once more complied. Worry still gnawed at her, though.
“Kaise..? Kaise..!” A familiar voice called out around the field, his voice laced with much more emotion (concern) than usual
“Giyuu?!” Kaise called back, sitting up despite her body’s painful protests and the Kakushi’s orders
Worried blue eyes met her teary turquoise ones. The man was bandaged up as well, but his right arm...
The man ran to her, quickly but gently pushing her back down to relax and continue to be tended to. She used his thighs as a pillow and her cradled her close with his left arm. Tears spilled from them both, no no one could discern if they were from joy or sadness.
After a moment, the kakushi dispersed. One left with a quick “tomioka-sama, we leave her in your care.” And thus, they were alone.
Giyuu had dutifully wiped Kaise’s tears away as they fell, whispering words of comfort she couldn’t quite hear over her sobs.
Raising a shaky arm, Kaise wanted to cup his cheek and wipe away his tears too. Giyuu understood her motions, quickly leaning into her touch. He closes his eyes gently, reveling in the warmth her hand provided.
“Kaise..” his gruff voice mumbled
Kaise wanted to reply, but all that she could muster was a small “mm?” Through tears.
“Let’s get married.”
——
Sanemi was already heavily bandaged and drifting in and out of conciousness by the time Hiromi had got to him. The Kakushi trying to fix up her clearly broken leg was quite annoyed at her insistence, but Hiromi’s stubbornness always won.
“Sanemi!” She croaked, attempting to crawl even closer to her lover
The man didn’t reply, but the telltale twitch of his remaining fingers seemed to put the girl at ease. She reached out far enough to intertwine her fingers into his bandaged ones.
The man groaned lightly as more pressure was placed on his chest. He wheezed, eyes opening from the sudden shock of pain.
He was so close. So so so close to being with his younger siblings again. So close.
But then the grip on his hand stopped all his racing thoughts. He squeezed back lightly.
Hiromi.
“I’m not going anywhere.” He said, almost more to himself than to her
“You better not.”
——
Hinami felt absolutely exhausted when it was all over. She managed to stagger into the last few minutes of the fight against Muzan. She was in virtually no shape to keep fighting, but did so anyways.
Before she knew it, the world went dark and her whole body went numb.
Eyes opened, but it was still dark. A single figure stood in the vast expanse of black. He brought light as he walked towards her, his features seeming clearer with every step.
Recognition flashed in her magenta eyes. “Mui-kun?”
The boy only shook his head. “No, sorry.”
Confusion was evident in her expression, brows even knit together thoughtfully. Quickly, she pieced it together.
“You’re Yuichirou.”
The corners of his mouth barely upturned into a vague smile as he nodded slightly. He was Mui’s spitting image, albeit seeming both younger and smaller.
“So... I’m dead.”
“Not quite yet. I’m here to keep you out. I pushed my stupid younger brother out, but I can’t rest easy knowing how close he was to slipping through here.”
Hinami’s breath hitched. “Mui died?!”
“Technically,” he huffed, clearly annoyed “but I wasn’t going to let him stay dead... and not you either.
Confusion hit her like a wave once more. Why would he so adamant on her staying alive? The Muzan battle was over. It really wasn’t a bad way to go.
“Stop thinking like that.” Yuichiro grumbled “I know you’re thinking something pessimistic; do you know how many times I wanted to slap that look off my brother’s face?!”
Silence met his words, but he didn’t hesitate to keep talking.
“You care about him, don’t you? I need someone I can trust to keep him from trying to die again.”
So that’s why.
“But I—“
“No buts! Hinami Kimiko, consider yourself kicked out of the afterlife, at least for now.” He seemed mad, but the soft look in his eyes told a completely different story “please, show him how to be happy.”
And Hinami’s eyes flew open again, this time greeted by the light of the sun crawling across the sky. The only thing was, she couldn’t see it.
——
Makoto and Hotaru were fidgety and uneasy, eventually rushing into the battlefield too. They didn’t feel right standing idly by as so many people risked their lives. They weren’t particularly fighters, but they could damn well try their best to be useful.
The two had stumbled into the tail end of the fight against upper moon one; they were horrified by the injuries they saw, but quickly set to work.
Hotaru was especially worried for Genya. It wasn’t long ago that they had become an official thing, after all. She wanted to stay by him, but Makoto pulled her away. She would be less distracted letting him patch her lover up and thus she took charge of seeing to the youngest pillar.
Sanemi was also, without a doubt, quite worried. Makoto shooed him away as well, insistant he keep fighting.
Hotaru made quick work of evaluating the wounds of the small boy. It looked bad... but she felt a sudden rush of confidence. She decided he was much to young to die. She wouldn’t let him.
Makoto wasn’t keen on letting Genya die either. Despite his overprotective nature towards Hotaru, he had to admit he liked Genya. No one made his sister smile quite like him.
———
——
It had now been five years since that fated day. Sunrises had never been as beautiful as the one that marked the end of demons, but the survivors of the battle didn’t seem to mind.
Obanai and Mitsuri were the first to marry. It was a beautiful ceremony and the two former hashira really couldn’t be happier. Later, they had two sons; though, even now, they’re thinking of having more. Hopefully a daughter this time.
Tanjirou and Inosuke didn’t take long after that to announce that they were a thing, though it was more than a little obvious. Zenitsu then tried to one-up them and boast about being with Nezuko, but that was most definitely obvious.
Kyojuro was next to throw a big ceremony. After he had sustained his injuries from the fight with Akaza, he took a lot of time to himself to recover. He had his now wife, Sei, by his side the whole time. She supported him unconditionally, and he couldn’t help but fall for her. They had a baby girl now, but we’re definitely planning on having more kids in the future.
Sanemi couldn’t stand being shown up by his fellow ex-hashira, so he proposed next. If he didn’t, Hiromi certainly would’ve. They had their two children, a son and daughter, in quick succession; this came as no surprise to anyone.
The wedding of Kaise and Giyuu was the most recent. Definitely not the last to come, though. It was a less frivolous reception than their comrades had, but still awe-inspiring. They took their relationship a bit slower than most, but no one seemed to mind. Kaise was now pregnant with her second child, her first only being about 10 months old.
Despite their lack of ever confirming where their relationship was, everyone knew Hinami and Muichirou were together. Hina had made a promise, after all. The two were happy. One could even say they were more than happy. They had to deal with their own recoveries, but truthfully it was having each other that kept them going. Mui and Hina made each other whole after feeling broken for so long.
Genya took a bit longer to propose, but finally did so with encouragement from his brother. He and his fiancée Hotaru were happily planning their future together, even discussing the idea of having kids! Though, Genya often became too flustered to ever finish any of those talks.
Makoto was also engaged now, to Hiromi’s younger sister Hanae no less. The two were a cute pair, and they definitely made each other happy.
They were all happy.

Anime Expo 2018 Story
GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!!
I am finally back from Los Angeles and HOHOHO DO I HAVE A STORY FOR YOU!!!!! This year was the absolute BEST year from the last 3 that I’ve gone and I literally could not top any other year from now on. (7/11/18: it is 11:47 PM and i JUST finished this... :’D)
LETS START SHALL WE!!! OKAY!!!!! :D
Day 0: Arrival and Pre-Show Night
This day was pretty long. The night before, I was confirming orders and receiving payments that pretty much kept me up for a while. Also, my mom’s friend who’s a priest was in town for the week to relax a little. I needed to stay up-to-date with everything. ANYWAYS, so that morning I woke up around 8 to finish packing. Now, sadly my Tokiya LS cosplay never arrived so I had to abandon my wig that I worked tirelessly for. I just brought with me the Camus cosplay that I had. My best friend had my contacts and I asked someone to make me the wig since I didn’t know if that was also gonna arrive on-time. I finished packing, and my mom took me to the airport. I realized that my flight was later than what I predicted so we waited there for maybe 20 minutes before I had to leave. Now, because of my Cafe experience last year, I was scared and told her to please pray for me since I didn’t want that experience to ruin my year. I boarded my flight and arrived to LA. Best part about it was that I got to sit in the near front (flying with Southwest) and got out of there super quick. Upon getting to LAX, I grabbed my bag and met with Aria and out friend Sally, who was a volunteer this week. Sally was going to take a shuttle to her hotel and we took a Lyft to our AirBnB. When we got to the place, it kinda didn’t look like the pics that we saw, but we sucked it up since it was close to the convention center. Now, I was VERY hungry since I didn’t have breakfast. Aria and I arranged so we could go to Curry House for our lunch. We had plenty of food before heading to our destination, the Los Angeles Convention Center. When we got there, we went to the premier lounge to pick up our swag and then to charge my phone because I forgot my portable charger at the AirBnB. I forget how long we stayed there, but after wards we went to the Entertainment Hall to look at what they had to show. Well.... it was only me that went first because Aria was somewhere else, I forget. Anyways, while I was down there, I saw the World Cosplay Summit costumes from 2003 and after and they look so. Damn. Cool. Like, if I had the right amount of patience for cosplaying, I would definitely do it, but I got frustrated just making a badge. Can’t imagine myself doing more. Then I went to the Wacom booth because I wanted to see their amazing tablets. I also wanted to know prices because I want a new tablet since I broke the stylus and charger out of yet another frustrated episode. Tbh, I’ve been wanting a Wacom tablet for years. However, I only tried them that night because of what you’re about to read later. So, because of that problem last year at the Cafe, Aria decided that it was best for her to go alone (please remember this for later in my story) to make sure that those involved weren’t there. While she was at the Cafe, I chilled out somewhere for about an hour and for the next hour or so, I waited for her to get out. While I was out there, I kept hearing things that really made me uneasy and I was starting to freak out like ‘should I really go there tomorrow’ but I kept myself distracted with Reiji’s current event so I won’t think about the anxiety I had. So when Ari was to get her picture taken, the doors had opened so anyone on the outside could see in because the show had ended. I saw Aria and told her to please hurry because it was almost midnight and I needed to sleep. I didn’t look inside very well, which was good for me in a way because I didn’t want to see what else was in there. As me and Aria were going back and forth, lo and behold the MC, who remembered who I was and was standing AT THE DAMN DOORWAY was all like “Come inside” and I said “No!!” and he was like “Why not?” and I said “Because no!!” and that’s where that little thing ended. When Aria came out of the Cafe, she told me that the people involved in my incident from last year aren’t there this year. Meaning that my celebratory dance from the week before kept going and when we went outside, I literally yelled “FREEDOM!!!!!!!” because I was so relieved that I was going to be fine this year. I was going to enjoy this con SO MUCH because of that news that I won’t have to hide my emotions. I am free of the curse I was going through for a year. I am safe.
Day 1: 20 Hours Awake
This was the day of the Boku no Hero Academia panel with Daiki Yamashita and others (Melissa and Dave Ifgorgettheirlastname VA’s were there). As a Premier Fan badge user, I could reserve my wristband for the panel days before online to just pick it up the day of the panel. However, because Aria didn’t reserve hers on-time, we had to literally arrive at the convention center around 4-5 am. At that time, there were already about 200 people lined up for the panel wristbands. I made line for priority entrance since I had nothing better to do. Anime Jungle didn’t bring anyone cool this year, so I just had more time to look around the place before going to the premier lounge and picking up my wristband. Aria was lucky enough to get hers so that way we could go together. As I was waiting at the priority entrance, staff took us all around the place WHERE because they didn’t know where exactly the first entrance was. Maybe 3 turns around the convention center to just get us back to our original line up place WHERE WE STARTED. I was borderline tired since I’ve been up since 4 and to be taken in circles was really hitting me in my ticked of spot. So, after we were in, I was talking to a few people in line and, let’s just say I made new friends. Aria met up with me later after she had gotten her wristband. So at first, we spent some time in the exhibition hall. I went to the KLab booth to play some Shining Live. It is actually kind of hard to play on a large screen, but I had fun trying all songs (except Mirai Chizu) and it was also very hard to get the S score with the cards they had, expecially with QN songs since there’s only 4 UR instead of 7 like Starish. I tried Poison Kiss and Force Live. Still couldn’t get the S score. At around 10 I headed to the premier lounge to get my wrist band. Now, one cool thing I found that was a great addition to the Expo, it was that badge scanner feature. Meaning, if you don’t have a badge, there’s almost no way for you to be let in. It was great. That also included the Premier badge entrance. After getting the wristbands, we headed down to the west hall cafeteria tp grab something to eat before lining up for the BnHA panel. After eating, we went to line up and curse me for waiting.
Tumblr media
ALL THESE PEOPLE WERE JUST FOR PREMIER ENTRANCE!!!!! It was absolutely crazy. Staff was great for getting us lined up and getting us in. Once we got inside, we were lucky to get seats near the front. I think we were on the 4th row. Anyways, when the panel started, they reminded us of no photo or video, which makes sense since there’s a lot of spoilers. The movie itself was AMAZING and the cast was so nice. I felt so cool amongst the thousands of fans. There were approximately 3000 fans IN THAT ROOM so y’all have an idea of how packed it was. Though what was weird is that there was an extra seat right next to me. so there could’ve been more that could go in. Anyways, getting out was much tougher because of the many people that packed up the place. We went back to the exhibition hall because we needed to pick up colored contacts for our cosplays. I have some blue ones that could work for both Camus and Tokiya. But here’s a big downer. I ordered my Tokiya SL costume June 5th. I put on the website that I needed it by July 2nd,  July 3rd at the most. On their website it said 7-12 days to make and 4-7 days for shipping. In total, it shouldve taken no more than 25 days to make and ship. BOI WAS I WRONG!!! June 25th is when I sent my first email to them saying if my costume was ready. They tell me not.
Tumblr media
Then by June 28th, I tell them again if my costume is ready to be shipped because typically when a customer says they need it at a certain day, that should put a little pressure. Ho no. They tell me that the costume is not yet ready and they will tell me when it’s shipped out. JULY 2ND I TELL THEM I NEED TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS BECAUSE IT NEVER ARRIVED IN MY HOMETOWN IN NEVADA and they tell me it’s possible to change and I did. JULY 4TH!!! THE DAMN DAY OF MY FUCKING TRIP IS WHEN THEY TELL ME THAT MY COSTUME IS ON THE WAY!!!!! HOE, I AINT WAITING THAT LONG!!!
Tumblr media
When I recieved that DHL email, I IMMEDIATELY changed the shipping so it arrives at the Reno office so I could pick it up because I was that done with the fucking company. BACK TO ANIME EXPO!!!!! After the Exhibition hall, we went to the Premier lounge just to relax and Aria wanted to go to Cybird’s panel. While she was there, I relaxed and went down to the Entertainment hall once more. After that, I forget what else we did and then we lined up to go to the Butler Cafe at 9:30. That was our original plan to go because I remember from previous years that they like inviting fans onstage for their birthday and I was to yell out that Aria’s birthday was in 6 months and if that counted. So we get there, and while we’re in line, Aria tells me “Hey, get a picture with Akashi. He was the host at my table and is a ton of fun.” I was like alright, a replacement!! We get inside and the guys at our table were Jiro and Takkan (?). They were the definition of fun. They literally gave us a fun time and I really wanted them at least to host my table one more time. Yes, it was that fun. Highlight of the night was when the butler dancers danced “DNA” by BTS with the original choreography and “Talk Dirty” by Jason Derulo. Now, please take in mind that “Talk Dirty” was used in the first AMV I saw of Voltage CGs. I literally died inside because I didn’t expect them to take it that far. It was fun tho!! I got the FB batch of orders, took my picture with Akashi, who was super cool cuz we talked about BnHA and was really kind. Good person.
Tumblr media
Then I went to take my picture with the cosplayer Voltage used (insta: https://www.instagram.com/th3lazyn1nja/)
Tumblr media
Weird part of that Voltage experience was that there were these girls WHO WERE LITERALLY FLIRTING WITH HIM AND I WAS SHOOK LIKE never in my years in life would I go that far with a stranger, HAHA NOPE. Aria tried to do a reverse kabe-don on him but failed miserably. Also remember this for later in the story. We left the Cafe and once outside, I again screamed FREEDOM because that experience was better than the last 2 years.
Day 2: Meeting Maeno
This was a blessed day for me. Tomoaki Maeno is probably the longest-running celebrity crush I’ve had. Now, I usually am not 100% open with these things because I respect their work and I respect their space, which is why I buy their stuff and watch their works to express my love for them. The day I heard that he was coming to Anime Expo, I flipped out and actually cried. Luckily I had no make-up on yet (it was my bro’s graduation) so I BLASTED Aurora and other Maeno songs I have on my computer. I called Aria so we could cry together. BACK TO AX We got up around 4 again to prepare for Maeno’s appearance that day. I did my efforts to look like Camus but I was so scared to put on the contacts. I would do it eventually, but at the moment, I just couldn’t because I hate things in my eyes and I’m super sensible to that stuff. I woke up a little earlier than Aria so I could shower, put my corset on, do my make-up and help Aria style her wig to make her look like a female version of Lupin from Code: Realize. I told her to keep her hair up since she planned on going original for the other half of the day. Before I forget, as I was getting ready and Aria was in the shower, I was watching Shunsuke Takeuchi go live on Instagram. He was promoting his new song with the unit AMADEUS. I left one comment that said, “Hello from America!!” and he replied with “Hello!! (waves) From Japan!!” which honestly made my morning and told me that I was gonna have a good day. Anyways, after we were both ready, I headed down to the convention center to start making the premier line for the Cells at Work panel, which is where Maeno was to appear. I also had to meet up with a lovely person that I asked if they could custom make my wig. I paid them for the wig order and for the design so all I had to do was pick it up and put it on. I waited inside the whole time because that day it reached around 104* outside. No way in hell would I stand outside in that weather. So anyways, it was about an hour waiting inside for the wig to come. I didn’t mind because that whole time, I was writing Maeno’s letter. I literally spilled everything I had to tell him because I really felt it was finally my time to confess to someone. I literally didn’t tell him I loved him and wish to be with him. Again, I respect an artists’ space and wouldn’t want them to know that since they’re told that same thing by many other obsessed fans. To shorten it up, I told him that I’ve been a fan for years and will always support him in his work. After getting my wig, I just played a couple rounds of Reiji’s event in Shining Live. I was top 100 this whole time and really wanted to keep my ranking. Here’s where things get a little meh. The panel was supposed to start at 11, meaning they needed to let us in around 10:30-10:45. I was getting worried because Aria was taking forever at the post office since she needed to pick up some CDs she ordered in case Maeno signed our own items. I kept telling her that it would be a little late for the panel since the staff kept saying it was capped and that no one else was allowed to get in line. The premier line kept getting bigger and general entrance was shortening. Men and women alike were filling the LP4 line area. It wasn’t until 11:45 when Aria FINALLY arrived and I said “We’re gonna be in there when it’s supposed to end.”
Tumblr media
It was about 12:15 when we could FINALLY go inside the panel and they were STILL having technical difficulties. I was VERY patient because I REALLY needed to see Maeno. Panel didn’t start till about 12:30 ish. So the MC was really cool and made us feel like we weren’t abandoned. After she got us all warmed up, the moment of truth came. I really didn’t expect it to go so fast and, pretty much at an instant is when Maeno was invited onto the floor. When she said to give the warmest welcome to Tomoaki Maeno, I. Lost it. I had tears in my eyes, they just didn’t drip down because my body was conscious that I had make-up on and didn’t want to ruin it for that perfect person. He was literally so relaxed and so sweet to us. I honestly couldn’t find a better day to be alive. After his little intro, he got us hype for the “Cells at Work” episode. It was so funny and every time White Cell came on the screen, the audience would lose it. That included myself, which I think was the loudest of all. After the episode ended, Maeno was invited back and 3 different producers were also invited on the stage. They talked about the show and how much effort they put on it and wanted to bring as much authenticity to the series. I’m so glad I understood a lot of it or else I would’ve cheered at the wrong time. Now, most of the time I was super distracted cuz I was staring at Maeno the whole time. I just didn’t want to take my eyes of him for a single second. He’s just so beautiful in person.
Tumblr media
Towards the end of the panel, 3 lucky people would receive a huge posted SIGNED AND DELIVERED BY MAENO HIMSELF!!!! I was a little hopeful that they would call my number, but considering my super bad luck in any raffle of any kind, I didn’t win. I was happy though that Maeno came close every time. Which just seeing him made me happy. When the panel finished, I sped out of there to the signing because 1, my friend dropped her gloves to her Cardia cosplay (not Aria, she was Lupin) and 2, I needed a good spot for Maeno’s signing. We waited there less than 40 minutes. In that time, Aria tried again to go to the post office to get her things, though I kept telling her it was no use since Aniplex had given us posters to have signed. She left either way. While in line, I was talking to the people around me and made some really good friends and got to see some old friends. BEFORE I FORGET TO MENTION!!!!!! So, in order to get a ticket to Maeno’s signing, you would’ve had to attend the talk show at the Aniplex booth in the Exhibition Hall. When I attended, they briefly talked about what we were expecting and how to get the tickets. I was near the stage and I was lucky enough to be one of the first to get that ticket.
Tumblr media
BACK TO DAY 2 So we’re waiting in line and we’re going on and on about Maeno and all of a sudden, the girls I was talking to say “Look!!” and I turn around and there he is. Majestic as Camus was Tomoaki Maeno himself on his way to the table. I let out a little scream and waved at him. No one else but us turned around to see him. I let Aria know that Maeno was now at the tables and that he would be signing soon. No more than 3 minutes later, Aria arrived to meet us in line and prepare herself for Maeno. There’s a friend I met back in 2016 that had her 5th Stage book with Suwabe’s signature from when he came. She was WAITING for the right moment to get another UtaPri seiyuu to get it signed. Sadly, they only let us have the Cells at Work posters signed. To me, it was okay because I didn’t care what he signed, as long as I had a memoir of meeting him. The line was moving fast as some didn’t have much to say to Maeno. As it was coming to my turn, I had girls tell me to calm down and breathe cuz I was almost in tears. Then it was my turn. I gathered all my courage from my fat little self and went up to Maeno. He gave me a little chuckle cuz I think he enjoyed my little Camus cos that I put together. I told him hello and he replied with the cutest voice ever. I REMEMBER IT SO WELL!!!! I gave him my poster and he went to sign it. He told me that the ink was still wet, to be careful if I touch it. I told him okay and thank you. He told me thank you and I gathered more courage to tell him that I loved him very much. BLESS ME MORE THAT DAY BECAUSE HE TOLD ME THAT HE LOVED ME TOO!!!!!! I know that’s something he would only tell a fan, but it made me so happy inside that when Aria came back, I cried on her shoulder, I wad that happy. I am feeling emotional now as I’m writing this. Aria stayed in line to talk to a few others that had awesome UtaPri merch, who I got to interact with as well. There was one girl who had the whole Prince Team itabag and parka. She literally traveled to Los Angeles that day just to meet Maeno. Kudos to her. I got to hug her Aqua (she let me) because before the signing, I could not calm down. We left the signing and stayed at the premier lounge the whole night. This is my autograph from Maeno.
Tumblr media
Aria went to the Sword Art Online that night and I didn’t want to go because I was so exhausted. We made jokes that day that Maeno took all my positive energy to go about his day. Tbh, if that was true, I wouldn’t mind it at all because he needed that energy to feel all the love we fans have for him. So, according to Aria, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka was very nice and cute to. **This photo was apparently okay to take since they never specified the “No Photo/Video” rule according to Aria.
Tumblr media
I don’t know the details on that panel so please ask her (@sweetaria98) for those details for that panel. After that panel, we went outside and bOI WAS IT A MISTAKE!!!!! It was 94 outside and I was DYING of the heat. Aria had a few things to do with a friend (which i never really understood why) but I was sweating from the heat and I personally thought it was the parking garage since I felt it cooler walking away from there BUT NO!! While waiting for the Lyft to come, I WAS DYING!!!! We got back to the AirBnB and Aria went for food a little after that and we ate dinner around midnight. I was sweaty.
Day 3: Loosen Up
So we weren’t really worried too much that day since all I had to do that day was shop for the remaining items from the orders. I did, however, also happen to buy an afternoon Butler Cafe with the $50 discount code that I never used since Anime Expo never sent me that information. Aria cosplayed Otoya from Legend Star that day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I just love how she looked that day and I’m VERY proud on how the make up and wig turned out. I bought the wig 2 months ago while I was still living in LA and I styled it once I got here. Though I couldn’t do much to the wig since the power in our room didn’t work that night or day. ANYWAYS So after buying 3 orders from tumblr, it was time to head to the Cafe. The plan was for me and Aria to go since it was the only time we could since Day 4 we had the AoT panel with Yuki Kaji. Aria was sadly late to buy her ticket and blamed me for not telling her but I also blamed her for not getting it while she could ONLINE. So I went to that Cafe alone (remember this for later). I actually had a blast that day. I went in with a bunch of people who were young and old alike and it was their first time. For me, it was my second time going in the afternoon, but if y’all remember last year, it was a shit year the first time. So it was good that I went alone and in the afternoon. I was punished like 2 or 3 times because of I forget what game. The guys at my table REALLY made it enjoyable and I had fun with their company. My first punishment that I got was that I had to do a Dragonball scream to the crowd and the second punishment was that I had to give a candle to another butler and tell him “You are the light in my life.” and the actor in me tried to make it so believable that everyone could enjoy that little show. Best part of that afternoon was when the emcee was asking for those who would like to be taken onstage for a special performance. Now, I silently (but made sure some heard) said that it’s been 3 years since I’ve been to their show and was never invited onstage. THAT COMMENT ALONE BEAT OUT A BIRTHDAY GIRL AND I FELT TERRIBLE!!!!!! In fact, I still feel terrible. After their little performance I came off the stage and they finished their act with I forget which songs. At the end of the Cafe, I took pictures with the guys at my table which were Shinomiya and Ryoga. Now, Ryoga left me with a little bug since he kept saying he remembered me from somewhere. I said that it’s my 3rd year at the cafe and if that’s where he knew me. For some reason, I got the impression that we might’ve known each other from somewhere else. I let it slide since I didn’t want to ask more details. Here’s my picture.
Tumblr media
Wee. MOVING ON!! So after the Cafe, we go shopping for a little more at the Exhibition Hall and I went to this booth by KLab that had ALL the UtaPri games for Vita and PSP. I only bought Amazing Aria/Sweet Serenade and Music 3 with a Camus towel and charm. That there was about $150 and I didn’t want to buy Repeat Love since I was running out of money and I needed to buy the last order. So, Exhibition Hall closes and we head to the premier lounge to literally rest because we’ve been walking almost everywhere. Before I forget, so before we headed to the premier lounge, Aria ALMOST lost her premier badge. It is a $125 replacement if she actually did lose it. She didn’t really go anywhere except for one booth with I7 stuff and the Cybird booth. She was lucky enough that someone had put it on the edge of the stage at the booth and it was confirmed that it was actually her badge. Back to the story. So Aria changed out of her cosplay into something a little more comfy for her while I put on a sweater since I was FREEZING in that lounge. We waited until 8:30 so she can accompany me to the 18+ one where I was going alone. Now, remember how I said to pay attention tho those “alone” in bold, here’s why. So our friend Sally is a volunteer at Anime Expo. She pretty much has access to ANY panel she wants as long as it fits her schedule. She had just finished that day and I asked if she could hold this HUGE bag of things from the orders I got. She said she would put it in HQ in West Hall, which was in front of the Premier Lounge. I thank her so much for that favor because it was a HUGE bag and I couldn’t bring it with me to the Cafe. Alright. As I’m in line for the cafe, I’m getting nervous because it was the last night of the cafe and I thought I was alone. BOI WAS I WRONG!!!! Now, I’m not gonna say what happened that night because of how crazy it got (ask me for details later) but right before the performances, I see Sally out of the corner of my eye. My thoughts went from “YAS BEST NIGHT EVER” to “WTF HOW DID SHE GET IN?!?!?!?!” in 3 seconds. I ignored that little bit because I thought “Alright, it’s just sally, how bad can it get.” HOHOHOHOHOHOHO WAS I WRONG!!!!! At the end of the Cafe when I’m going for my 2018 worthy Cafe picture, ARIANNA WAS AT THE DAMN TABLE TOO AND I LOST MY TEMPER!!!!! I WAS LIVID BECAUSE I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HER THAT I NEEDED THAT NIGHT ALONE TO SEE IF I COULD FIND CLOSURE TO MY CURSE THAT’S BEEN AT ME FOR 368 DAYS AND IT WOULD NOT LEAVE ME ALONE AND SHE DECIDED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SALLY’S PASS AND LET HER LITTLE ASS IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y’know, I’m still livid with it. I calmed myself down, took my picture, and left.
Tumblr media
Yes, I was that shook at the moment of my picture. Not from Ari, but the performance in general. Anyways, as we’re getting out, I tell Sally to give me my stuff back please so we could leave. We left the convention center and I did not want to speak to Ari for not respecting my space when I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HER to please leave me alone that night. We just said small talk and she got the Uber for us to go home that night. It was midnight.
Day 4: Last Day and Kaji
This day, I wanted to arrive at the hour that the Exhibition Hall opened because I needed to pick up my wristband for the AoT panel and also to buy that last order of merch that I needed to get. We headed straight to the premier lounge and then headed straight for the exhibition hall so I could buy that stuff. It was around 10 that we got there so I was in a hurry. This is when I realized something that worried me Voltage charged me almost 30% tax in every purchase. When I wanted to buy that last bit of things, I had less than $200 on my bank account. The total for something that was only supposed to be $150? They charged me $195. The person payed I think $160 (I don’t have my notebook at the moment to clarify) for the stuff and my service and HOHOHO BOI WAS I LIVID!!!! I realized that I didn’t have money now for my Lyft to the hotel for Aria and Sally and for my ride to the airport. What ended up happening is that I used what was my last $100 in cash to pay half of that payment and the rest on my card and didn’t buy anything else for the rest of the con. That also included food since it’s SUPER expensive at the convention center. I only bought some chips that morning with $2 in cash that I had from previous food purchases. Aria got them for me from a vending machine. So, we lined up for the AoT panel around 10. I was again playing Shining Live to catch up on the event to stay top 100. I hadn’t spent a single dime on the event during AX which was great. I only purchased $20 in prisms and that was at the beginning of the event. Aria went to this auction where they were selling things up to $2k probably. We don’t know cuz we didn’t stay there. We started going in around 11:30 I think since the panel started at 12. We go in and had a good seat at the front. As we were going in, they were giving out Levi and Eren pins to us. I got Levi, Aria got Eren. The panel was great, season 3 is gonna be quite a thriller for fans and I bet y’all that the OP is gonna be AMAZING if X-Japan is involved. Btw, the thing that’s pissing me off so much is that someone had the downright NERVE to take a picture of the panel when it was STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND THEY EVEN TOLD US THAT IT WAS TO BE THAT WAY!!!!!!!! Luckily they respected the BnHA but not with Yuki Kaji in that room. Anyways, Kaji was so cute and he seemed to really get along with Bryce and they both have a lot in common which is great. So after the panel, we realize that we have time to make it to the very last butler cafe show. Aria didn’t want to go since she thought it was too late and I also wanted to see if just in case that booth still had Repeat Love, which they didn’t. So at the Exhibition Hall, I wandered around a lot since I needed a new portable charger and saw that NO BODY had any to sell and the Cheero place wasn’t there this year. TTnTT So, I got bored and then decided to meet up with Aria at the Cybird booth to see what they were doing. At the booth, they were saying so many announcements and Hiroto was really nice to the fans, however time was running out. Most of you know the announcements so I’m not gonna say, but congrats to those girls who won the cut-outs of the boys from their Ikemen series. One more giveaway was done and that was to get a special picture of Hiroto as Isaac Newton (?) from Ikemen Vampire, which I’m VERY excited for because I have a thing for Vampire stories (thanks a lot DiaLovers). We played a huge group round of Rock Paper Scissors and a lot of us beat Hiroto. It was less than 50 which was great. Because time was running out, I didn’t get my photo with him this year. I mean, it’s okay since like, it was about 5 minutes from closing. After i got my prize signed by Hiroto, we left the exhibition hall and headed to the closing ceremony. We waited there for a little bit. I bought some chicken strips with my last little bit of cash and me and aria shared the tater tots. The closing ceremony was great, but I liked last years better. This one I felt too brief and just wasn’t enough. It was still fun though. After the closing ceremony, we left to the AriBnB and called it yet another year in the books.
SO THAT WAS MY ANIME EXPO 2018 STORY!!! I hope you all enjoyed it!! I tried to make it as interesting as possible with as much memory as I have from it because I felt it all go so fast. Honestly, this year was such a blessing that I don’t think any year will top this. VIDEOS BY ARIA WILL BE POSTED IN A FEW WEEKS/MONTHS!! :D I’ll be contacting the people who ordered from me soon... :’D

Midorima x Takao - The Wondrous Adventures of Misfortune 10
Without Him
Midorima and Kise remained together, collapsed on the ground and crying for another hour and a half. They had eventually calmed down and their sobs turned into mild tears. It didn't mean they were any less upset; it only meant that they knew they couldn't remain there forever. So, once Kise was ready to face reality, he excused himself to go to the bathroom to wash up, while Midorima remained on the floor. The green-haired male was caught between being embarrassed for his out of character action and just numb over the situation. “Midorima, come home with us. You shouldn't stay here alone.” Kasamatsu was speaking calmly and had crouched down to look Midorima in the eyes. He felt bad when he saw the devastation in his eyes and written all over his face. “You need to be around friends now and until Kazu's return.” “No. I... am alright.” The green-haired human hesitated before he abruptly stood up. He wiped at his face and shook his head. Determination now showed in his eyes alongside the sadness. “I have to stay here and wait for Takao to come back. I don't want him to return and see me not living here anymore.” “Midorima... I...” Kasamatsu wanted to argue but knew once the other human decided something, he wouldn't change his mind. “Alright, but if anything comes up or you need anyone to talk to, then call us. We'll be here for you. So, lean on us.” “You're being particularly kind today. I'm not sure it suits you.” Midorima's tone was slightly snarky, which caused the other human to smile slightly. Kasamatsu hoped that his snark returning was a good thing. He was about to respond when another voice joined in the conversation. “He's right Midorima. We'll do anything to help you. Besides, it's now my job to protect you. I have to keep you safe in place of Kazu. He'd hate me if anything were to happen to you while he was away.” It was Kise speaking now. He'd returned from the bathroom and heard the end of their conversation. “Thank you, Kise, Kasamatsu. I truly appreciate you both and your assistance through all of this.” It was pure honesty from the green-haired human. He wouldn't usually say that out loud, but he knew he needed to be truthful with his two friends. At least, at that moment he needed to be. His words caught the two off guard and had to look at each other in to make sure they actually heard what was said correctly. They weren't completely sure how to respond to Midorima being so open with them. “...You mean a lot to us both Midorima... I mean Shintarou.” The human flinched at Kise using his given name, but he didn't reject it. However, he nearly involuntarily shoved the angel away when he approached him and wrapped his arms around the human.   “What are you doing?” “Hugging you. Is that a problem?” “...Yes...” “Too bad.” Kise smiled at the human, but even though he was smiling, there were still clearly hints of sadness written on his face. He was trying hard to hide the sadness and be happy though. “Don't worry, Shin. Kazu will return to us.” With that, Kise released the human and turned to his lover. “Let's go home.” Kasamatsu looked to Midorima, who nodded his head to tell them it was okay. “Alright. Well, like I said before, call us if you need anything. Even if you just want to talk.” Kasamatsu truly wanted the human to go with them, but he'd settle for a phone call. He just wanted to make sure his friend was okay, or at least that he wouldn't do anything irrational. “I will.” The green-haired male walked the two to the door, which wasn't there. The three couldn't help but stare at the broken door. They had all forgotten about it. “...Ryouta will pay for your door.” “Thank you.” So with that, the angel and human began to walk away from the green-haired human. It was only that moment when Midorima realized that he truly didn't want to be there alone. Even so, he didn't call out to them. He couldn't tell if it was his pride that stopped him from calling to his friends or if it was something else, but he just knew it wasn't right to do. Once the two were gone out of sight, the green-haired human turned to his apartment. He took in all the damage and things he needed to clean. He was glad that Kise was able to leave the barrier up until his door got fixed since his living room was a disaster. Takao's blood was soaking into his floor and the towels full of his blood were thrown around, also soaking into the floor. The remains of the failed exorcism were spilled on the table and on the ground around it, the salt scattered around was the thing that was truly everywhere, since the demon nor human had cleaned up. That caused Midorima to realize that he as well was a mess. Drying blood covered him in various places and salt stuck to where the blood was. Midorima wanted to clean up, but his entire body felt heavy and weighed down as if he could fall through the floor any second. All the energy he once had was drained and he felt as if he could sleep for days. So, ignoring his common sense telling him to clean up, he decided to head to bed. He had to take a quick shower to rid himself of blood, but it turned into only rinsing himself off. He was way too tired to do much of anything else, however, once he was in bed, he couldn't sleep. The human hadn't even had the energy to put clothes on or dry his hair fully. He'd just gotten out of the shower, dried himself slightly and fell into his cold bed, but now he was wide awake. The thoughts of the past day flew through his head. Things he could have done differently and things that he should have realized. Every thought led him to blame himself further. He told himself that all that happened was his fault and that Takao almost dying was all on him. Even though Midorima was aware that blaming himself wasn't right, his grief was clouding his reasonable side and wouldn't let him think any other way. As the night continued on and the human remained lying still in bed, the exhaustion finally took over. As Midorima began to fall asleep, he reached out to Takao's side of the bed and grabbed a hold of the pillow the demon would use. The human pulled the pillow to his body and realized it smelled like his precious demon. The scent was relaxing to him and caused him to slip into sleep faster. While sleep overtook the human, he couldn't help but think that he'd have no dreams, but he was incorrect. His dreams were full of Takao and the times they spent together. When morning came, Midorima had to face the day. He pushed aside his feelings and cleaned up the evidence of what had gone on the previous days. While cleaning, he found out two good things. The first was that there were no lingering stains in his floors from Takao's blood, and the second was that his blood-soaked phone was fine. Apparently, it's battery just died, but once it was charged it was working like normal, so it turned out to be blood proof. As he messed with his phone to ensure it was not only clean but fully functioning like he thought, he saw he had four missed calls and a voicemail. All were from the same person, which was the man who'd fired him from the hospital he worked at before he was cursed. Seeing the calls and message honestly intrigued the male, so nearly instantly, Midorima clicked the message to hear what it was. “Hello, Midorima. I'm sure you must wonder why I've been calling, so I'll just right to the point. After some consideration, I've decided that if you want your job back, you can have it. Think about it and call me with your answer.” His boss sounded annoyed at having to make that call. He didn't seem pleased with rehiring the green-haired human, so the orders must have come from above him. To be honest, there was no thinking needed. Midorima wanted his job back. Not only his job but his life, and that's what he knew he needed to do. With his curse gone, the human knew he needed to go back to his life as he patiently waited for Takao's return. Despite having ill feelings towards the goddess after Takao's almost death, Midorima kept his promise to her and began the restoration of Yoshi's shrine. He brought his angel friends; Kise, Kagami, Himuro, and Momoi, along with his human ones; Kasamatsu, Kuroko and Murasakibara, to help fix the shrine. They made offerings together and even recruited some of their friends too. Along with that, Midorima's friends also did another job for his sake. Their second job was to ensure that the green-haired human was never able to feel alone or to feel pain. Even with as much as they tried and did for Midorima, they weren't enough. A few months passed by and even though he had his friends, job, cars and even his normal lucky life back, Midorima still had a hole in his heart. He heard nothing about Takao, even though Akashi had returned already. The demon merely said that the cleansing was taking time. He refused to say anything more and began to ignore the human's phone calls. It infuriated Midorima, but most of all, it caused him more pain. His mind kept wandering off to Takao and his feelings for the demon. Along with that, if it wasn't the past with him he thought about, it was all that could have been in the future. To make it worse, every night Takao filled his dreams. There were good dreams where Takao was never even hurt and terrible ones where his precious demon never returned. One thing was the same each morning, Takao was not in bed next to him like he wished. It was a painful way to start the day. Of course, Midorima's group of friends were well aware of the pain he carried. He might have still been his usual self on the outside, but they knew his silent suffering and were very worried about it. So, to help lift his spirits, a few of the group members decided to take Midorima out to Kise's bar to have a fun night of drinking. The group consisted of Momoi, Aomine, and Kagami, along with Kise and Kasamatsu of course.
However, it was the blond angel that was able to get the green-haired human to arrive. Midorima put up a fight since he wasn't one who usually went out drinking, but Kise had been very persuasive. That honestly only meant the angel threatened to drag Midorima to the bar by force if he refused. So, the human reluctantly showed up a little after the others. However, he didn't make himself known and was even debating on leaving without a word. Unfortunately for him, that wasn't in the cards for the night.   “Look who finally decided to show up. Thought we were going to have to drag your ass here.” The blue-haired demon was the first of the group to notice Midorima, who in response glared at Aomine. “Sorry I'm late, I didn't want to show up.” Midorima's snarky retort caused all the group members, except Aomine, to chuckle. The blue-haired male grumbled something as he turned back to his drink. “We're glad you came! I feel like it's been so long since we last saw you!” The pink-haired girl couldn't help but hug the human, much to his dismay. She was louder than usual along with slightly slurring her words. “We just saw him last week Satsuki.” The redhead noted as he pulled the lone female off the uncomfortable human. “But Tai, it feels like forever!” “Sorry Midorima, she's a lightweight and is already drunk.” The female was trying hard to struggle against the red-haired male. It was mostly just her flailing around though until she was finally pulled away from the human. “You're a lightweight too Taiga. Why aren't you drunk yet?” Aomine was amused to watch his lover try to wrangle his guardian as she tried to latch herself onto Midorima again. “Because I know how to pace myself.” Kagami might have said it, but no one there thought it was the truth since it wasn't the first time they'd gone out together. “Isn't it better to just get drunk? Don't worry, I'll carry you home.” The demon had a suggestive smirk on his face that caused Kagami's face to go as red as his hair. Aomine just laughed and ignored his lover's sputtering. Instead, he chose to reach out and pull Midorima to him, before pushing him onto the empty seat next to his left. “Are you a lightweight too? Will you need me to carry you home? I wouldn't mind if I had to. I'm sure it'd be fun.” His comment caused a chorus of different versions of his name, all sounding exasperated with the demon. “I haven't drunk much before, so I wouldn't know. Either way, I will not need anyone to carry me home.” Midorima ignored the suggestive tone in Aomine's voice and the equally suggestive smirk on his face. The human decided to not even allow the demon to say anything more, so looked to Kise. “Give me a drink. I don't care what it is.” “You could be a little nicer.” The angel pouted but went to work making a drink for the human. “Make him something with a lot of alcohol. I want to see him drunk.” It was the blue-haired demon again, causing the little group to glare at him once more. “Dai, be nice.” Momoi scolded her friend, but he waved her away. That incited her to want to attack him, leaving the red-haired male to need to hold her back again. “I'm making him something special that Kazu had been wanting me to make so he could convince Midorima to come here.” As Kise explained, he finished stirring and pouring various things into a glass. With a satisfied smile, he presented the drink to the human. “Here you go. Try it.” “What is it?” The green-haired human was skeptical as he looked at the slightly dark maroon drink. “You'll see... Well, taste actually.” Kise looked quite proud as he waited for Midorima to drink it. Despite the pressure to drink it, the human was hesitant, but in the end, he decided to test it anyway. As he sipped at the drink, his eyes widened in shock. “This...” The human was speechless and could only look at Kise with his shock filled eyes. “Yup! It's a red bean soup cocktail. Kazu was very pushy about me coming up with it. You know how difficult figuring out how to work it into a drink for you was? You should be happier.” The angel was happy enough for both of them due to his creation. “So, how was it?” “...It's acceptable...” “Can you taste all the alcohol in it? There's more in that then I'd usually put in one drink.” “So, maybe we'll see a drunk Midorima?” Aomine was smirking at the human, who just shook his head in return. “I highly doubt I will get drunk.” Well, that's what Midorima had said, but he was wrong. After a few more of those strong drinks and an unnecessarily long conversation about Takao, Midorima was too far gone. It definitely wasn't in his nature to get drunk, but he couldn't help it. Kise's creation was incredibly good and Aomine kept irritating him, causing him to drink faster. The whole Takao situation was the thing that pushed Midorima over the edge and give into drinking with the group. The human ended up drinking too much too fast. “Hey Midorima, I think you need to call down with the drinks.” It was Kasamatsu who finally spoke up to try to stop the other human. He was able to tell how far gone Midorima was since he was slightly swaying in his seat. That led to Kasamatsu, who was sitting next to him, to become worried for his friend. “Why?” Midorima took another sip and looked at his friend. The one word he spoke was not slurred, but the drunkenness was written all over his face, despite his argument. “I'm...drunk..not...” Those words were what gave away his current state. It took longer to speak and it was like he had to truly think about what he was saying to ensure it was correct, even though it ended up not being correct. “...Midorima you just...” Kasamatsu shook his head and took the drink before walking behind the counter to dump it out. He looked at his lover and spoke up again. “Ryouta, he's cut off.” “I am fine.” “No, you're actually wasted. You clearly aren't aware of this, but you're talking to an empty seat. Yukio isn't there anymore.” Aomine was trying desperately to not burst into laughter. “...I see...” “You don't. Where the hell are your glasses?” Kasamatsu was getting even more worried now. It wasn't like his friend to be so strange and he couldn't believe no one noticed his lack of glasses before then. “I may have left them in the bathroom.” With that, the green-haired male began his journey to the men's room. Along the way, he stumbled passed the already unconscious Momoi and Kagami. They were laying in random booths where they passed out a little after Midorima had arrived. Aomine had kept feeding them drinks and even got into a drinking match against his lover. Right before Midorima entered the bathroom, he decided he needed to clear his head and cool off. So, without his friends realizing, despite him bumping into tables on his way, the human left the bar and escaped outside. The chilly night air felt good to the drunk and overheating male. It also felt good to finally be away from people. He wasn't accustomed to being at any social gatherings, especially being drunk at one, not that he'd admit he was drunk. “I should get home...” He wasn't sure why he spoke out loud to himself, but it got weirder when he nodded his head in agreement with his own statement. So without his glasses and without telling anyone that he was leaving, the green-haired human began to walk home. Well, in his hazy mind he was but he was actually going the wrong way and didn't notice it. He also thought he was walking normal, but he was actually stumbling over his feet and swaying. He was venturing dangerously close to the road as every stumble caused him to go further from the sidewalk. If Midorima realized how much closer the cars suddenly looked, he didn't care. As the cars sped by seemingly feet from the drunk man, neither them nor anyone else watching cared either. It was almost like no one saw how close a person was to them as they went by. So, the human continued along, until his foot collided with a random and large rock hidden in the grass. This caused Midorima to lose his balance and stumble over. Since he was so close to the road, he ended up just falling into it. Dazed and unsure of what had happened, the human slowly stood up. It was a struggle to do so as his legs didn't want to work well and gravity seemed to want him to stay down, but eventually, both feet were on the ground, even though he was swaying unsteadily. Of course, the human paid no mind to himself standing on the road, meaning he was completely ignoring the cars coming. Not only the cars, but he ignored the cuts and gashes he now had due to his hard fall. For some reason, his impaired mind thought it was a good idea to walk to the other side of the road rather than the two feet to where he originally was walking. This caused him to walk right in front of a car, who slammed on their breaks immediately. Still, the car was about to collide with Midorima and he didn't seem to care much at all. He remained standing there in the road, blinded by the bright headlights quickly approaching him. It seemed like Midorima was about to be hit until there was a flash of black and something other than a car hitting him. Within seconds, the human was laying on his back on the cold grass. A body was pinning him to the ground and a face was far too close to his. With the lack of light, all he could distinguish from the being above him were glowing amber eyes that had worry written in them. As his eyes adjusted to the lack of light, he was able to see more of the being's face. “You know, we need to stop meeting like his, Shin.” Those words were all Midorima heard as he slowly blacked out. Along with that, the heartwarming smile he knew so well and loved so much was the last sight he saw before it all went black.

Hi!! I just read your Akamomo fanfic, and I absolutely love your writing! If it's not too much trouble, I was wondering if you could write a Momoi fic? Where Momoi has a high fever in Teiko and the GoM worry about her the whole day, but she brushes them off and goes to practice, but faints? Like worried!MiraGen about Momoi? It's alright if this isn't your thing, and once again, your writing is amazing!
Hi dear fangirl! Obviously, you can have it! There’snothing better than protective characters! Sorry if it took me a bit, I hopeyou enjoy it!
Precious Manager
Momoi didn’t get sick. Full stop.
Not because she was an idiot like Aomine, but becauseshe was always prepared; she was able to analyze everything and actconsequently. She always knew how her body was feeling and what to do to stayhealthy. She just didn’t get sick.
Therefore, the throbbing that tortured her head fromthe morning, the sleepiness that had sunk in her body and the weakness she werefeeling weren’t symptoms. They were…passing, faint discomforts. She was okay, she could endure it. And the boys had to stop nagging at her, she knew what shewas doing, alright?
“Momoi-san, please return home.” Akashi said, standingbeside her. She tapped the pencil against her notes and rolled her eyesannoyed.
“I’m perfectly fine, Akashi. And we should increase thenumber of laps for the first years.” Mumbled looking at their team running. Shehad to blink one or two times, her vision clouding a bit. But she was fine.
“I have to agree with Akashi, you don’t look well.”Midorima commented, reaching them. She barely registered that he was really worriedabout her. That damn throbbing…
“Guys, I’m fine!” tried to pout, but felt a wave of fatiguewashing over her, “Aomine-kun has been nagging from this morning but..” shetried to say before he felt her words vanishing in her heads, “…I feel…” theworld spun wildly and then, darkness engulfed her, “…fine.”
She just heard that idiot of his best friend callingher name before passing out.
“Satsuki!” Aomine rushed through the gym shoving awaysome scared first years and reaching the girl that Akashi has caughtimmediately before she could fall on the floor. He took her, helping thecaptain to lay her down.
“Oi Satsuki, open your eyes!” yelled worriedly andKuroko, appearing from nowhere hit him on the head.
“Don’t scream. She’s passed out.” Reprimanded him andcrouched beside her, putting a hand on her forehead.
“Tetsu!” he exclaimed hurt.
“Tetsuya, has she caught a fever?” Akashi asked.
Kuroko nodded, “She’s boiling, we have to bring herhome.”
“Fine. Everyone stop practicing and gather theirthings, we’re bringing Momoi home.” Akashi state, exchanging a glance withMidorima who hurried where the coach was to explain the situation.
“Momocchi!” Kise finally reached them, breathing heavilyfor the rush, “What’s wrong?” asked, resting with his hands on the knees.
“Ah, Momochin doesn’t feel well for real.”Murasakibara observed slowly walking by their side.
“Damn! I told to this stupid to stay home!” Aominecursed taking her in his arms and picking her up. Actually, he wasn’t used totake care of people and he didn’t know what to do, but letting her on the floordidn’t seem a good idea.
“So manly.” Kuroko joked deadpanned, before startingto walk away, “I’ll go collecting her things.”
“Can we leave practice like this?” Kise asked Akashi, who was ordering Murasakibara to go and take all their things too.
He nodded.
“Nobody of us would be able to focus and Momoi livesalone. We’re going to stay with her until she wakes up. It’s our duty as herteam.” He proudly explained and Kise beamed up.
“I’m good at taking care of others!” and he meant it.
“Stop being an idiot and move your ass!” Aominegrunted not taking him seriously and feeling impatient to bring her safely athome. Momoi shivered in his arms, panting, and grabbed his t-shirt, making hisheart stop for the worry. She had red cheeks but a pale complexion; she wassweating and had difficulties to breathe.
Kise stared at Aomine, surprised by theuneasiness in his harsh voice, and then looked at Momoi: realizing thatfor once his friend was panicking, he showed him a reassuring smile and tookof his uniform’s jacket. He reached him andwrapped it around Momoi with gentleness.
“To keep her warm.” Explained to Aomine, “She’s goingto be alright, it’s just a fever.” Calmly said to Aomine, who blushed lightlyrealizing how stupid he was being, and nodded as a thanks.
“Are we ready?” Akashi asked in the exact momentMidorima returned nodding and Kuroko followed. Murasakibara has already broughtthem all of their things.
Everybody agreed and he started walking, followed byhis team.
“Let’s go then!”
They were lucky that, first, Momoi lived near; second, they had long legs, except for Akashi and Kuroko who had to run to keep up, sothey arrived in few minutes. On the way, Murasakibara and Midorima stopped tobuy some medicines and adequate food for a sick person at a store.
Aomine found the keys in her bag and open the houseguiding them in. As Akashi said, nobody was home and they went direcrl.t to herbedroom, a little unease about stepping into the girl’s territory. It was asimple, cute room with pink and green furniture, books, a basketball and photosof her and Aomine, or her and the team. They stood fidgeting in the room, notknowing what to do.
“Put her on the bed, Aomine” Kuroko told him and hepromptly did it, kindly covering her with the blankets.
“Alright, guys from now on keep quiet since she’ssleeping. We need some wet towels and the thermometer.” Kise said clapping èhis hand to attract their attention, “Where can we find them, Aominecchi?”asked impatiently; they couldn’t lose time like that.
Aomine arched an eyebrow at him, but saw Akashinodding and decided to trust Kise.
“The bathroom is the room at the end of the corridor.”Answered uncomfortably seating near Momoi, the only thing he could do washolding her hand.
“Akashicchi, can I ask you to search for them? I’ll goin the kitchen and see what I can do.” Kise asked politely and the captainnodded.
“Thank you Ryouta.” He replied and the two left theroom.
“You can relax.” Kuroko said to Aomine, who was stillconfused about how easily Akashi had complied. The guy nearly jolted, havingalready forgotten his presence.
“Kise seems to know a lot of things. He really can doeverything uh?” Muttered a bit annoyed by himself, who had never had to takecare of anyone.
“He has two older sisters and seems to have learnt alot from them. Actually, he’s the perfect housewife.” Kuroko answered andAomine didn’t understand if he was serious or not, “While Akashi doesn’t know whatto do at all. He usually has butlers to take care of him.” Explained with asigh and that made Aomine crack a smile.
“Didn’t expect it. I’m kinda glad I have to you rightnow guys, especially you and Kise.” Said honestly with a huff, looking at thesleepy Momoi.
Akashi returned with a bucket full of water and twotowels; he put them on the floor near the bed and looked at them expectantly.
“Now?”
Aomine chuckled and Kuroko sighed again, taking thefirst towel and dampening it.
“We use it to lower her temperature.” Kise saidentering again in the room. He stared at Momoi and snorted, stopping Kurokofrom putting the towel on his forehead, “But we have to change her first.”
They all looked at him, horrified.
“Ryouta, I don’t think it appropriate.”
“What are you thinking, Kise?!”
“You’re a pervert, Kise-kun.”
He blushed heavily averting their gaze.
“It’s not like I want to do it! We don’t have otherchoices!” protested, “She has sweated a lot and can’t sleep comfortably in heruniform; we have to change her with the pajamas.” Explained fidgeting andscratching his nape.
“And who’s gonna do it?” Aomine asked wearily, whatKise said made sense but…
“I am.” Kise interrupted him, immediately explaininghimself before they could accuse him again, “I work with various models and I’mused seeing girls in their underwear. Moreover, I can swear I’m not interestedin Momoi in that way.” Reassured them. They exchanged doubtful looks, butdidn’t have a lot of alternatives. In the end, Akashi and Kuroko waited forAomine’s answer.
“Okay, okay. Don’t try anything funny alright?”threatened letting go of Momoi’s hand, but Kise rolled his eyes, shoving themaway.
“Not. Interested.” Repeated, before the doorbell rang,“Ah, Murasakibaracchi and Midorimacchi! Go open and help them with the bags!” hurriedand closed the door in their face. They unwillingly did as he said.
Five minutes after, Kise had done everything alreadyand Momoi was sleeping peacefully wearing her fluffy, pink pajamas. He calledthem back immediately, shushing them to not disturb her. He left Kuroko in theroom, in charge of changing the damp towels and managing a worried and scowlingAomine, a lost Akashi, a studying-in-the-corner Midorima and a poutingMurasakibara because the blonde’d prohibited him from giving Momoi sweets. Hethen went to the kitchen and began cooking.
When finally Momoi woke up, disturbed by a softwhispering, she mumbled something confused and, opening her eyes, she immediatelymet Aomine’s stare, who was bending over her.
“Satsuki! Are you alright?” asked in a little too loudand harsh tone.
“Stop screaming, Aomine-kun.” Kuroko scolded andMomoi, trying to sit up properly, saw him seated on her bed near his bestfriend.
“Momoi-san, how are you feeling?” Akashi asked gently, sitting at the end of the bed.
“We’ve tried to help you, Momochin.” Murasakibaraexplained to her, sprawled on the floor, and Midorima raised his eyes from thebook he was reading.
“Please, next time don’t push yourself.” Begged fixinghis glasses, a wave of relief hitting him.
“Guys, give her a break.” Kise bubbly reminded them, entering in the room with a tray of food, “Just in time, Momocchi.” Chirped toher in a softer than usual voice, reaching her and putting the tray on her lap.
“I’ve prepared a hot soup. Here, water to take the medicinesand an integrator. Hydrate yourself properly.” Suggested, seating in front ofAomine.
She looked at all of them speechless, until a bigsmile blossomed on her face.
“Thank you guys! You’ve been really kind. I’m sorryfor making you worry.” Apologized weakly but wholeheartedly, feeling all warminside for being surrounded by her caring friend.
Finally, Aomine relaxed beside her, emitting a lowgrowl.
“I told you to stay home, you stupid woman.”Commented, thankful that she seemed less pale now.
She chuckled, ruffling his hair.
“Sorry, sorry Dai-chan! Thank you!”
He shook his head.
“Thank Kuroko and mainly Kise, they have taken care ofeverything. We were useless.” Muttered slightly blushing and Kise literallybeamed at his comment.
She laughed seeing the blond being all giddy forhaving been helpful and patted his head to thank him some more.
“I knew it! Kise is the only one capable of this andKuroko is the man of my life! But still, I thank all of you, for staying by myside.” She repeated and all the team smiled sweetly at their precious manager.
