in-ho's hands landed on dae-ho's sides, squeezing them and poking them from this side to side. number 388 tried to squirm away from the frontmans fingers but failed as it followed him. he let a giggle slip and after, a burst of his real laughter came out. it didnt sounded like his normal laughter, it was a little bit more lighter than usual. "eeeehehehe!! ohohokay wait wait WAHIHIHIT! ahahaha! nohohot you toohoho!" jung-bae joined in, just poking his dear friend slightly who was being tickled by 2 people now..oh the feeling of guilt pressed him down.

"im sorry.."

dae-ho tried to cover his face but poor guy forgot what his biggest secret was. he hiccups when hes getting tickled and one came out right away.

".....wow, did we just unlock a new method of laughter?."

dae-ho was as confused as him, squealing and kicking his legs as he made more and more inhuman sounds. his giggles became in a quite mess, he was too distracted by his ticklish sensation to realize how embarrassing his position was right now. a slight of a blush came out on his cheeks.

"want your taste of your own medicine now?"

jung-bae looked at in-ho with a little confusion.

"lehehets nohohoHOHOT!!"

"what if i..tickle you here?" he squeezed on dae-ho's hips. number 388 jolted. "and here?" another squeeze, another noise. "...and heree?~" in-ho founded this a little enjoyable.

jung-bae stopped the poking now, leaving them both have their fun..or something.

this is going to take a while to resolve. dae-ho was getting tickled into pieces, jung-bae becoming an over-thinker and in-ho..? well as you can see, that man had his fun, thinking if he should make this "tickling" into one of his games.

but suddenly, dae-ho had an idea!

he tried to look out for gi-hun..where could he just be??

"don't you dare to call for number 456. i know exactly what you're thinking about."

"whaAhaha?! hohow *hic* dihihid yOuhHUHU??"

in-ho looked directly at the spot of dae-ho's knees. in a moment of inspiration, he realized in what kind of guy he messed up with. although he belived he was skilled in these games, what's his current situation then?

..only and last hope was number 456 now.

as In-ho counted dae-ho's ribs, his mind somewhere else, he suddenly felt a cold run down his spine.

the frontman turned his head behind him slowly. it couldnt be him right?..

shit.

"oh, so you did want more huh?"

gi-hun was behind them, having a smile as if he just won the lottery.

as in-ho's eyes met his, the atmosphere of the feeling he had became right the opposite. 2 hands landed on his sides..again. man, he was a grown adult..how many times did he catch himself in this state now?..gi-hun would not take him serious ever again, he thought.

"a little troublemaker you are..this is getting a serios topic now dont you think so?"

there was no single noise coming out from in-ho, just really tiny squeals. seems like he was holding his laughter in.

"oh? holding in?. that aint cool young-il."

at the same time, dae-ho. this could be his only villian arc. he was still laying down on his back, smoke coming out from his ears from all that laughter and hiding his eyes with his arm. a few giggles slipped out of his mouth.

"juhung-bahehe."

jung-bae was sitting innocently, like a little puddle that just broke a vase.

"yes?.."

a little silence contuined.

"may youhu cohome here.?"

"sure.."

he came to him closer, looking at dae-hos face. the awkward silence between these both still contuined.

"look, im sorry.."

"say that again, but louder."

....

"im sorrEEK-!!"

"....how does it feel huh? i was backstabbed by you!!"

he said, dumping all the "pain" into him while he tickled his dear friend unexpectedly. seriosly, jung-bae thought that dae-ho is maybe an understanding person, so he would understand his situation too he had 2 minutes ago.

" thehehehe! waihihihit *wheeze* wahihit a secohohond!! lehehet mEHEHE *🫖* explAihihihin!! whahahaaaa!!"

"ay, you're even more ticklish than myself..this was unexpected sir." jung-bae even laughed more and a little shade of red appeared on his face. dae-ho looked down where he was tickling him curiously. "wait, your seriosly ticklish on this little spot?"

"aEAhahaha! enough!! enoHOhohoahaha!" he hided his face with his hands and number 388 giggled along with him.

"young-il, let it out!! come on, it aint embarrassing, trust me."

more muffled screaming came out from in-ho. why did he end always up as a lee? this was kinda getting him mad. meanwhile, gi-hun scribbled his ribs again, like the way he did on that night before. a little giggle slipped out from the frontman.

"oho~! seems like a tickly bug got you. don't worry! i'll save you." gi-hun threatened him like a child, chuckling a little now. his tone seemed too playfully, felt like in-ho was his stressreliver.

"enouhuhugh now."

"what? couldn't quite catch that, sorry." another chuckle.

"i sahihid enohough!"

with that attitude, in-ho jumped right infront of him, causing gi-hun to fall down on the floor.

"ow! that hurt.."

damn, gi-hun forgot what kind of strong guy in-ho was. he didnt fight back at all..no. he wanted to see in-ho's true side. plus he wanted to be fair. he exposed in-ho infront everyone else.. so now they both are quit. was he scared? of course. will he maybe get punched in the face?..unknown.

"..remember, violence is not a choice.."

"a guy like you cant tell me that." in-ho replied.

"seems like the tickle bug is affective, ain't it?" he told extra, scribbling his 10 fingers around gi-huns sides now.

gi-hun broke into soft giggles, trying not to squirm and accidentally hurt in-ho. more giggles coming out of him as the scribbling became faster. "plehease-"

"begging already..? it just started!!"

this will be a long morning.

0. this one goes without saying but The Student Prince is seriously one of the best fics in any fandom i've ever read to this day. I relisten to the podfic every single year and it SLAPS every time. If you haven't listened/read recently this is obviously my #1 rec hahahha

Okay onto some actual recs

1. Tired by spqr

King Arthur gets enchanted and keeps having dreams about his court sorcerer merlin :))))) He obviously doesn't say this to Merlin, but Merlin notices he's not been sleeping and Arthur comes clean about having 'nightmares.' When Merlin tries to figure out a counterspell, he accidentally casts it on himself and ohh nooo they're both having sexy dreams about each other but also have to act normal in real life ITS SO YUM. This fic was surprisingly soft, like yes they are having some full on dreams but also the bits that made me extra insane were just the little soft moments between non-dream merthur 🥺

This was a school holidays read and i remember reading this in the staff room of the elementary school i was working at trying so hard not to SCREAM. At one point i had to go on a spirited walk around the building just to get my energy out because it was JUICY.

Merlin runs a relationship advice/matchmaking service radio show and Arthur's ex calls in and rips into him on air. Arthur calls in to defend himself and he and Merlin butt heads. An oldie but such a goodie. I love this one because the characterisation feels very natural. Plus i loooove arthur POV fics. Merthur are so sweet in this one and i love love love the dynamic of their respective friendship groups merging. It also features the fandom favourite m/f crack ship that is elena and gwaine which im always here for.

If you like: silly modern AU friend group nonsense, Arthur POV fics, snarky Morgana, and a fic writer who understands the sheer power merlin emrys' 🥺 face would have over not only Arthur but literally ANYONE who looks at him, this is the fic for you.

3. Second Chances by DragonDucks

This is a canondivergence/fix-it fic set immediately after Arthur dies in 5x13. In this version Arthur tells Merlin he loves him with his dying breath and Merlin's magic sort of implodes sending him back in time to 1x1. So it's like sad s5 Merlin getting a second chance to save Arthur in the body of tiny baby s1 merlin.

I'm gonna be honest i'm still reading this one but it has me kicking and screaming!!!! Most of the dialogue is repurposed from the show which makes it extra juicy to me and its just delicious i love it so much. The POV switches between S5 mourning merlin and S1 gay panic arthur and its soooooo good i'm loving it so far. Some of the side characterisation is a little weird but Merthur are PERFECT. It NAILS that yummy introverted Arthur and fond Merlin characterisation.

If you like: canon era fix it fics, time travel, Arthur pendragon falling in love with merlin bit by bit and actually having space and time to grow as a person, and merlin emrys being like no everyone shut up about my destiny i just wanna have a good time with my boyfriend, this is the fic for you.

4. All is Semblative by Whitefox

I just fucking love crossdressing fics okay 😇. This is cinderella meets Merthur. Uther is throwing a ball to find Arthur a bride and servants aren't allowed. Out of spite (and, lets be real, also jealousy) Merlin tries to disguise himself to sneak in and ends up accidentally turning himself into a princess. Arthur hits it off with a weird but beautiful mystery princess who turns out to be his manservant he's been in love with this whole time. Simples.

If you like: Prince Arthur knowing about merlin's magic and being cool with it, fairytale AUs, accidental genderbending (but still canonically mlm merthur), and arthur pendragon singlehandedly embodying demisexual panic this is the fic for you.

5/6. As Long As We Have We AND No Matter How Far Away You Roam by lady_ragnell

Lady Ragnell again because I looove the way they do modern day Arthur. and i've been going through their stuff. These are both super cute christmas fics (I know its a little early but I couldn't help myself). In the first one, Uther has just died (rip uther you will not be missed) and Arthur accidentally collects lonely friends to spend christmas with him in the empty house. At the same time he befriends Merlin, the owner of his local bookstore, and merlin brings his own group of strays to Arthur's christmas...and obviously everyone gets along super well and merthur fall in love. The second one is a fake dating. T get his parents off his back, Arthur lies to Uther and Igraine that he and merlin have been together for years and Merlin (plus his mum and his sister Freya) has to play along one christmas..and obviously everyone gets along....and obviously everyone gets along super well and merthur fall in love.

Anyways, with the bonus comic out of the way let me just say: I love this story. Insanely lukewarm take, I know, but the conflict between PK and Gorthan here is just SOOOO interesting man. The constant back and forth between whether or not they're enemies, because sure, they SHOULD loathe each other given the circumstances. They constantly reiterate through dialogue that they HATE each other, and yet, through the story we see that both parties hesitate to take any definitive action against the other. PK does a pretty good job of reiterating it himself here:

There's something so interesting about the way in which Gorthan falls in love with humanity through our literature. Every part of his instinctual self tells him to hate us, and yet he just can't. Perhaps it's self-important of us as humans to assume that anything we do could be so moving, but idk. I think it's beautiful to fall in love with humanity through our ability and drive to create. The Evronians don't have the luxury of feeling and creating, they're pretty automatic beings that just kinda exist to follow orders and conquer stuff. It's a pretty fuckin dismal existence, thankfully most of them aren't really conscious enough to think about it critically. I mean Gorthan was but he got immediately kicked out so...

Anyways idk what I'm really trying to say here other than good story, Gorthan is a good character, I WISH we got to see more of him after this but we don't really. Go read The Little Prince.

Summary: For as long as you can remember you and you best friends went to a beach house ever summer. But this summer was different. You really didn't know what you were getting yourself into.

Authors note: This is my first story and first time writing so I might be a bit bad, but if you could get me some advice, I would love it. (I'm desperate) Also as I was reading this over again, I noticed that this is somewhat referenced the the show The summer I turned pretty but it will change very soon.

Sneak Peak

Finally, it was the time of the year that you have been waiting for SUMMER. You had just got out of sophomore year of college, and you couldn't be happier. Around 4 days ago your mother told you that she had plans so it meant that you had to go alone on your trip to the beach house, but you weren't mad about it.

You had been waiting for this moment since last summer ended. All you could think about was how your mom wasn't going to be there and that honestly made you feel better because who would want their mom telling them what to do on summer vacation?

5 hours later

You were all packed and ready to leave when you suddenly hear a honk outside. You didn't do anything because you didn't know if it was for you or not, so you just went back on your phone. That's when you get a call from one of your best friends Heeseung.

"Hello? "Is all you said because you were confused. "Hey y/n/n were outside right now" heeseung said excitedly "Ohh. That was you guys" you said awkwardly " alright let me get my stuff I'll be right down" you said as you hung up.

It didn't take you to long to get your stuff downstairs and into the car but when you went to the passenger seat which you knew was empty you were shocked. There was heeseung the one you were just on call with looking a lot better than he did last year. Since you all went to different school you only saw the 4 boys during the summer. You had locked in the back seat to see the rest of the boy on their phones, and they looked better than they did last year to "uhh-"

"Y/n are you gonna get in?"Heeseung asked you with a smirk. "Ohh yes duh sorry" you said with you head down as you get in the car.

"Y/n!" Somone screamed behind you which made you jump. You looked back to see the three-boy looking at you smiling. "Hey guys!" You said and they all said Hey. And just like that you guys made you way onto the road and to the beach house.

During the ride music was playing but you stayed quiet because it was late at night, and you were tired. Heeseung had noticed that and put his hand on your knee. You didn't think anything of it because he usually did that when you were tired which was weird at first, but you honestly got used to it as the time passed. That was until you felt his hand go even higher than usual. All you did was gasp and look over at his smirking face, but he didn't say anything and just stayed like that.

3 hours later

You were asleep by the time you got there and so were to boys in the back but heeseung woke everyone up. After getting your luggage from the car you went into the house you have been waiting for all year long. You immediately went into your bedroom.

As you were setting up your bed sheets Jay has suddenly yelled to everyone to come at dinner which was strange but decided to go downstairs anyway.

You made it down stair to the boys already eating at the dining table. You got yourself a plate of food and walked to your normal set that you always sat in for dinner. It felt weird with your mom not her. But you push that feeling away when jake had started to say something.

"Y/n you wanna stop by the beach after this?" Jake asked you, but before you could say anything jay spoke up.

"Jake there's a bonfire tonight and I don't want her going." Jay said looking at Jake and then looking at you " she's too young for that kind of stuff."

"I'm literally 2 years younger that you jay." You said" and you can't control where I go anyway"

"Just because your mom isn't here doesn't mean you can do whatever you want" jay told you.

"You know what jay, this is bullshit" you said angrily "I'm going to bed." You said as you took off leaving you full plate of food on the table.

Everyone was staring at you as you left.

"Dude just because her mom isn't here doesn't mean she can't go with us. "Jake said sad that they weren't able to go the beach.

Upstairs

You were on your phone after you had slammed your door shut. All you wanted to do was go to the stupid bonfire but nooo jay didn't allow you to because "you were too young". You were going to the party even if jay said no.

You have gotten off of your bed and went to your closet. You looked and found something that you think would be suitable for the bonfire. You were wearing a blue mini dress with small lace details.

You knew it was revealing but it's not like you cared.

You grabbed your phone and went out your bedroom door. The boys had already left except for heeseung because he didn't want to the party, but you didn't know that because you were in your room the whole time after barely eating your dinner.

You made your way to the stairs when you see heeseung coming out of his room in his pajamas.

You didn't know what to do as heeseung looked at you.

"Where are you going dressed like that?"heeseung asked you after a moment of silence.

"Why does it matter to you? "You asked. You didn't want to admit that you were trying to go to the boy's bonfire by yourself after jay had said no.

"Don't tell me you're trying to sneak out to go to the bonfire."

How did he know?

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"What else who you be trying to sneak out for its no like you have a boyfriend to go to."

"You don't know that."

"Y/n everyone knows it ok." He said. "How about you get dressed into pajamas and come chill with me in my room. Yeah?" He suggested.

Wow Chionophobia was so good! I liked how Taco’s disappearance in the beginning was completely silent! It makes sense considering how stealthy she is, she’d probably learn to silence her movement to make sneaking around easier.

Goo was so silly!! I think his characterization was really good! Truly no other thoughts in his head except silliness, cheer and mlp..

Mic being stressed out the entire time ohh.. she was so worried! Especially when she couldn’t hear Taco with her hearing! I can’t imagine being able to know where basically any contestants are at all times but when she really needs to know it won’t work! That would put some not so good thoughts into Mic’s head of what could’ve happened to Taco!

Ohhhh Taco.. I’d imagine she doesn’t hide in the vents a whole lot. Maybe to travel throughout the hotel more discreetly if she wanted to be alone but not to stay in it for long periods of time. Could she have gone into them to try and be as far as possible from the snow? I wonder how her mindset was during her initial hiding- clearly she must’ve been so panicked.. her fear must be so intense to kick her mind and body into survival mode like that! It was almost like an instinct to try and get as far away from the snow as possible, not knowing nor caring where’d she end up as long as it was safe and inside- which automatically led her to the vents which would be the innermost part of the hotel. She’s literally in the walls! She probably had some nasty experiences during winter where she wasn’t sure if she was going to make it through the night due to the immense cold, or maybe her little den got snowed in once, or maybe she barely escaped being buried alive during a blizzard, or etc. etc. so much potential cause for it!

I’m glad it ended with a lighter note! Also NICKEL being the one to try to coax her out was so funny to me. He probably felt so awkward..

do you think Taco would open up to Mic about her fear of snow afterward when she’s more calmed down? Maybe at least a little so they could take more precautions for the next time it snows?

anyways can you tell I really enjoyed your fic? I hope you write more some time, I’d totally love to read more of your writing!

RIGHT!! He is so precious. Silly-billies his way into doing a great job handling a PTSD episode <3 Him sleeping next to her for so long helps her to start breathing slower, the hot chocolate helps to ground her, the infodumping gives her something to grasp onto to come out of the flashback, he is just a sweet little angel who has never done anything wrong in his entire life.

Mic is so very scared at that moment I'm glad you noticed!! :D Yeah normally she can hear everyone, usually even Taco when she's hiding away, but between Taco not talking and barely moving most of the day, and Goo infodumping right next to her, Mic can't pick up on her!! Which is so scary!!!

OH POCKET OH MY BESTIE YOU ARE SO RIGHT. THANK YOU FOR ASKING QUESTIONS I HAVE AN EXPLANATION THAT DIDN'T GO IN THE STORY AND NOW I GET TO TYPE IT OUT YIPPIE!!!!!! :D

So! Yes, a part of it is her wanting to be as far from the snow as possible!! She is seeking immediate shelter!! I tend to think of her home while she was in the woods being a little den underground, maybe a little room or two with a tunnel in between them. And, after the event that traumatized her which I'll go into in just a moment, she's hidden herself away in her den/tunnel at any sign of snow. The events of the fic are not the first time Taco has had the extreme reaction to snow, it has been a trigger for her for a long time. The vents are not only hidden away, but the closest thing to her old den in the mansion. It's partially out of habit, in that way, since she's always hidden in her den when there was snow.

As for the event that caused the trauma, it goes as follows. Shortly after the end of season one, (Which ended early-mid December) and very shortly after the hotel was built (which seeing as it was made from MeLife, I doubt took very long), there was an absolutely bloody massive blizzard. A few meters or so of snow. And see, since this was so soon after the end of season one, Taco had nothing established, and no tools. She didn't have any den to hide in, she didn't have anything to cover herself with, and with the timing the hotel was very much not an option. She very much did get buried, and would've had to claw her way out of the snow a few times as it piled up. I doubt she could've made it there even if it was. She'd ended up with severe hypothermia after this, and I'd say the only reason she survived it is because she's made from MeLife. We don't know whether it was possible for them to die from things like hypothermia/starvation/etc., but let's just leave it that if they could have, she very likely would have. It was a living hell <3. She didn't have a shelter while she was sick or anything- she was out in the snow that entire time until it melted on its own. Which was quite a long time. And naturally, that experience traumatizes the living daylights out of her.

He did feel incredibly awkward, and also hated being the vents. He is a teensy bit claustrophobic to me <3. He likes Taco and everything, but he is not good with feelings, yeah?

Yup! Immediately post-fic, she'd still be nonverbal for a few days, and probably still hang out with Goo a lot. He's a comfort for her now, and of course he hasn't finished recapping all of My Little Pony in incredible detail to her. [Some readers pointed out the implication that he remembers every single episode in detail and in order, and I'd like to clarify- yes, yes he does.] Once Taco is talking a bit more though, which would also be over the course of a few days, Mic would probably start to broach the subject with her. I don't think Taco would give her all the details yet, since her trauma surrounding snow is still like, 0% healed at the moment, but Mic is so sincerely worried about her that Taco would give her the rundown. A sentence or two about having gotten caught in a blizzard once and having gotten sick afterwards. I don't think she could get out more than that at this point, without tears at least.

I have an au related to the question I'd posted earlier today in the works that seems like it might be worthy of being actually written, though it would be a bit. I'd be kind of pointless to post the outline for Chionophobia since I posted the actual story, but to use it as an example, it's outline is significantly more detailed than the outlines/story summaries I usually post on here, because I need that detail to help me actually write the story. So basically, I'll have to write a nice, thorough outline before I write the story, which may take time. Or not. I thought Chionophobia would take longer but 22 hours and 19 pages later, there I was ready to post, so.

Spider!Yuu's spidey senses can tell when danger is afoot. Whenever she's on the clock, there's fewer accidents and just swings by before Goofy trips and tosses all the dishes. She can tell when either Pete or Mortimer are here.The staff can rely on her for cleaning the high ass ceilings because she can climb up walls with no problem. And her webs make the best Halloween decor.

Von Drake and Jumba being so fascinated with Yuu's anatomy and intelligence. Whether has organic webbing or made web shooters of her own, they want so badly to experiment on them (definitely not gonna try to get bit by a radioactive spider too, nope).

Jamil being torn from freaked out to having a crush on a girl with spider powers. Jafar trying to convince him that she's not an actual spider so that his ship could sail

Yuu making a web hammock to calm down the little kids in the club. Next minute she's having a strength competition with Hercules and Gaston because she can lift up to ten tons.

The clubgoers seeing her memories and freaking over the fact that Yuu has been up against so many dangerous foes and life or death situations such as the iconic train scene. It scares them even more than the overblots do.

The Parr family from the Incredible (if they're here in the au), feel so bad because she's doing vigilante work all on her own. Edna mode upgrades Yuu's spider suit to a new level with glee.

Okay okay okay first of all I'm going to vent a bit about ATSV because Pavitr my boy, my sunshine, my everything is literally so important to me like hell yeah give me the south asian/brown kid representation (now if only there was an young asian girl with a bob so I can feel better about that Dora the Explorer look my mum forced me to have throught 90% of primary school whilst all of my friends got to grow their own hair out)

Also not going to lie the only reason I'm into ATSV is because I've been a Mayday Parker stan since 2017 - like she is everything (and her backstory is just so sad like PeterMJ didn't deserve that). My favourite spider-people after Peter are his multiversal daughters because girldad Peter is everything (I actually own physical copies of the Renew Your Vows comics that are about Peter and MJ's daughter, Annie-May Parker, and they are so frickin good) but I digress...

I don't know if I want Yuu to have her own Guy in the Chair back in her universe and for Idia to feel jealous/threatened or for her to have no guy in the chair until she comes to twst and Ortho is like 'my time has come'

Ohh imagine the insane parkour skills she, Ruggie and Aladdin would have.

I know that being insanely smart in science is a Peter Parker thing and doesn't really apply to all Spider-People but I think she would be a science whizz (and joining the science club - making Crewel's already glaringly obvious favouritism skyrocket) and hanging out with all of the scientist characters like Prof Von Drake, Jumba, Yzma etc.

Her and Herc would be training buds. He'd see her and her heroics and superhuman friend and be like 'new best friend :D'. Phil loves the heroic potential she has and wants to train her but Pegasus and Megara are like nope and swoop him away.

Oh but imagine the beastfolk finding out about her enhanced senses and how sometimes they cause sensory overload and helping her out because they grew up like that so they know how to manage it better (I once read a fic that said that Savanaclaw showers have soaps with subtler scents to accommodate their enhanced sense of smell and like yes) whilst she's still getting used to it and has to keep it a secret back in her world.

I'm thinking back to all of the MCU!Peter Parker fics I read and all of the spider DNA tropes that tickled my fancy and I can just imagine the twst/HoM cast reacting to things like her having no thermoregulation (and going into hibernation), her purring, her being allergic/having a poison like reaction to peppermint, her having fangs (her being venomous would be cool as well - like imagine Kaa being all fanboying over her fangs and venom glands) etc..

Okay so I remember having a bunch of ideas about this but I can't recall all of them so here... 😅

During the past year I have read and interacted with some of the most creative and talented writers. It astounds me the amount of skill that is in this fanspace and for this meal to remember I wanted to highlight some of my favorite writers and give them their well deserved flowers

Overview: With this fanspace I have traveled through many different universes, explored characters through an analytical lens that parallels the show itself, enjoyed these stories in fun, wholesome*, and interesting ways ! I have seen such beautiful creativity and I wanted to highlight some of my favorite fic writers and really delve into what I enjoy so so much about their writings in no particular order xoxo

Your fics are truly like comfort food to me like I love sitting down after a long day and reading like truly sweet stuff. A lift truly did give me that christmassy feeling during the holidays. It’s stuff like that that makes you say aw this is sweet you know, like matched with Then Leave like yess innovative trans lou / Lily I love that so so much. And we also have comedic aspects in em’ too which I love how your fics never fail to make me smile-- I remember getting giddy at the Chess series (I was like oo what’s coming next like I loved the lil beef its just very fun). Ohh and I cannot forget to mention The Time We Have which is quite beautiful. I like the calm of it, yes I can feel the fresh morning itself--it's just like the little things you know, those little moments are oh so lovely.

Like the sweetness is off the charts in your fics and I love the fluffiness and how you branch out into that mix-medianess in Come Home to Me and your exploration of that sweet parts of Claudia and Louis together through Letters* .  Also woahh just god the sweetness in Sexual Immorality I love how you write Louis and Armand together, dialogue is just so so nice.  And the roleplay in the ending like oop you never fail to like get me with endings like reminding me of how shocked I was of Charred’s  ending, just so good and so insane. I loved the gothic fluff of that one itself, woah.

Poeticism in unimaginable ways, you really have it.  I remember first reading rhododendron and like just the feeling was of an instrument the way your words just literally string me along. And then it’s like you pull out bangers after bangers in the delta breeze [dare to breathe] it’s nostalgic, beautiful, lush and heart wrenching all at once, again the words strung me along so perfectly. Lipstick traces is so so vivid and I love the story being told here, you pack so much in small sections it’s so astounding and inspiring to me < 3

It is so absolutely insane how you display your writing chops just so wonderfully.

All your stories have an air of magic in them like of course with your incredible list of fairytales The Princess and the Pea (aa louis princess moments I love) ,  Once Upon a Wine Dark Sea ( Which just fits so well--siren-vampirism yeah I love just seeing how you display these characters as different mythos, your universes are so out of this world it is amazing.),  and  rumplestiltskin (which  I remember when I first read you had that beautiful air of mystery in that beginning and to come to find out it was simply armanlou roleplaying antics--it kind of unlocked something in me) but also seeing that freshness and dreaminess that is featured in fairy tales also in your stories that are not necessarily based off of that (such as Train Tracks , Glass Coffins and Golden Roses, and mental topology experiments to the tune of bubblegum bitch ). Just an amazing selection of works--in your long fics they always keep me guessing where it’s gonna go and I love that.

Your writing is just so so amazing, descriptors off the charts I must start  with baby father in which you start off with me already visualizing everything. The mood is set in such a nostalgic way it’s vividness takes me into the scene. Exploration of Louis and Claudia is always so gorg and you do it so so wonderfully. And I remember, oh, I remember reading the different stories in Scenes From A Marriage how you can take moments from the canon out and expand upon it, keep the scene running all with gorgeous prose.

And the way your genres can shift and morph from wolfsbane to in a lonely place like it feels like you can do it all and still enrapture me--such beautiful prose and such an engaging writing style just fantastic.

Little Kidnaps was one of the first (if not the first) IWTV fic I have ever read so your writing instantly implemented a special place in my heart. You have such a beautiful vision of the IWTV story itself (and the VC as a whole) and how you balance these characters is just so wonderful--it kept me reading in times I was deprived from the show. But your lovely writing does not stop there of course--I’ll let you win really is so so gorgeous wow like you got me with the noir setting and it astounds me how vivid you write it and also try to swallow the wave is so amazing as well from start to finish and your writings just do that certain amount of re-readability that I will always keep coming back to you.

Your descriptions in stories are out of this world the tiptoeing between romance and horror and romance inside that very horror is very gorgeous--Lunacy is a great example of this, and the way it is set up in little fragments ( non- linear) it is just wonderful what you’re doing and continue to do. Prey Drive I feel like is also in this category and oh I do love me some prey drive (it’s one of those goat classics™ ) and I come back to it because it does pull me in with that chase with that hunt--just all of it is gorgeously written. I think what also just drives me to your writing is your characterization and I think in  Wolfkiller it is especially on display. I love how you write Claudia and the horror of Lestat --Wolfkiller never fails to make me say ‘You get it’ because you really do and it drives me insane. And of course special mention to To Pluck Gently At Strings it goes so hard I became a Armand/Nicki understander because of such vividness in the descriptors just great !

MasterMood Universe:

It was a holiday season gift, it was a valentine's day gift--and it keeps on giving. Like it was insane from the start and you both, as I mentioned, have a feature in your writings where you cannot tell where its gonna go and it leaves you anticipating and excited to see what happens next. And of course bonus points because of how wholesome* the whole teachers’ pet series is. I  can tell y’all had so so much fun writing these stories because I can see it directly through the writing and it only added to my own enjoyment.

 Pirouette is an amazing look into Lily and like I love how yall take this little bit we have of her in the show and expound on her in such a complex way. I love in general just taking off little parts of the show and making more of it but this is next level--and y’all did it so wonderfully woah. 

The_Lame_Goat & kittyldpdl Collaboration:

Y’all writing together stuns me to the point of extreme amazement. The wrath  of the lamb has some of the most beautiful and addicting prose ever, and it is such a wonderful blend of y’all two it scares me !! The story and the words itself just absolutely wonderful--it’s the type of thing you have to read over again and slow to just get that feeling of when you’d first read it. So excited but apprehensive for the second chapter (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me a warning before yall post it I need to mentally prepare and I dont wanna die !!!!! )

I want to specially mention ‘House’ which just shows the talent on full display at full force. Like in general I have never seen anything like it before--for starters just the immense collaboration between 7 people who are so dedicated to not only the show but their craft as well--and to do that and for it to flow so beautifully is absolutely both insane and amazing to me. The whole concept of the story being akin to like a game--trying to essentially escape the house, being forced back in and in turn being plunged into little scenes of the house itself--excerpts of the past through the overall horror element of the house itself. Going through hallways to try to complete it and find every bit of the house--it is so vivid in the way that the chapters are set up. When you get stuck you really feel stuck and the high emotive chapters really get you and then you’re pushed into a calm moment and everything feels okay or not quite right--I love the many many combinations of the ways you can go (how the house gets bigger so it feel like the possibilities truly are endless !).  I remember when I first read it and I was absolutely astounded. I felt every level of emotion, the happy, the sad, the nostalgia--just everything that makes the show the show is put into ‘House’ gracefully. Such a masterful collaboration, I wanna hang it up on my fridge. House inspired me to make D;I the way it is-- the interactiveness grabbed me and the story itself made me play along til’ the end (& again) and I will keep rereading until it consumes me whole. Mwah Everyone who wrote in it did such a lovely job even when I tried to look at a single chapter it entrances me and pushes me into reading the whole thing <3

That’s about it--I do feel like I missed a few fic writers ( but ofc if we ever have something like this again I’ll make a bigger list so I have more time~~)  I always try to comment on stuff I enjoy so just know I see ur talenttt & I see you. Summary: Pedri pisses you of so you decided to give him a punishment😉

It has been a year since you and the young Spanish Barcelona player have been together. The truth is that Pedri has been involved in many hook up/dating scandals which weren’t ofc true until he met you and he didn’t take him long to fall in love with you.

He never confirmed or unconfirmed the scandals he was supposedly involved in because he knew his family and his real fans would never believe any of that, but when it came to you and everything between the two of you he was keen on the idea to publicly announce your relationship. There were photos of you and him leaked already being together so it was the perfect opportunity for you to confirm your relationship

You were kinda afraid of his fan girls because you thought after the confirmation they would attack you and hate you but it turned out to be better than you thought. His good and loyal fans loved you as you treated the golden boy with respect and the love he deserves. Also they saw how your cariño’s eyes sparked every time he was with you and that’s all they wanted for him

But that didn’t mean that every fan of him would treat you in the same mature way. Sometimes when you were out for a walk some of his fan girls spotted you and asked a photo with the young star. You were never negative about it, in fact you liked that they appreciated your bf and his team, but all of that with a limit.

One day when you were driving for your scheduled Sunday lunch a fan of him raised her hand and pedri immediately stopped the car. He opened the window and you saw a very beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes around your age asking for a photo with him and ultimately giving him a piece of paper writing something inside.

You were never a fan of these type of notes as girls always wrote him their numbers, instas and stuff. It made you jealous and it made you more jealous the fact that this beautiful girl gave him the note but he didn’t throw it away after reading it as he always does.

In the afternoon as Pedri was in the shower you sneaked in his stuff and grabbed the paper because you would explode if you didn’t read what was inside of it. You had murder on your mind as soon as you read the paper. The girl literally wrote all this nasty stuff about you and demanded Pedri to meet her in a hotel after his training tomorrow

After Pedri was done, he was in a mood for yk but he noticed your grumpy face. “What happened to you amor?”

You threw the paper in his face as you left the room and locked yourself in the guest room where you could spend the night since you were not in mood facing him. Pedri was knocking the door demanding answers “Y/N please what did I do, answer me and I can explain you if possible’’

“Ohh please you say you care about me and stuff but in the first chance you get for pleasure you run like a puppy, I guess the rumours of you and all those hook ups were true” you said

“Y/N stop you know all these are nothing but lies, you are the first girl I ever felt something real about, open the door and let me show you how much I love you” Pedri replied

“You think sex is always the answer after every argument, sorry Pedri but this is all too much to handle, if you want to get laid you can always message Gabriela (the girl who wrote the note)” you said

“Wait- what? Who is Gabriela?” he said

“Don’t act surprised Gonzalez, you know damn well. Good night I am tired” you replied

When Pedri heard you called him Gonzalez he really knew you were pissed of. He tried knocking and knocking all over but with no success. He returned to your room and slept since he had training tomorrow

The next morning he woke up and he understood that you had already left for your uni classes. Pedri was sad and confused about what happened. He remembered the moment when you threw the piece of paper in him so he run to the room looking for it. He found it in a corner where he read what it was written. As soon as he finished he knew how fucked up he was. He wanted to make up for it and he knew the way

8. What is your favorite line/section from Born a Grease?

Okay I’m cheating a little bit because it’s technically two sections, but I really like the scene where Darry and Soda get in a fight and Darry leaves, followed by Soda’s memory of Darry telling him it’s okay to drop out of school. The fight because it was something I was excited to write when I first started this story, and Soda dropping out because I love that moment between him and Darry. I think it really encapsulates their dynamic. Also honorable mention to any time I get to write a flashback because I love love love looking at how drastically their lives changed in such a short amount of time. Like my favorite thing to do is have a chapter where you start off with them having normal teenage worries (like, Soda mad Darry never lets him drive the truck) juxtaposed to the very real very adult problems they're having to deal with in the present (having to deal with the ramifications of Darry being arrested and how just his brief time in jail has already changed him as a person and Darry now giving Soda the keys to drive. The thing he so desperately craved before now becoming a a curse more than a blessing).

10. Is there a character or ship you'd love to write for, but haven't yet?

Ohh so so many. There are some scenes from born a grease that I’d love to write from other characters pov just for fun, like I have a rough draft from Paul’s pov after he shot Darry, or from Darry’s pov the night that Soda got arrested after he tried to fight Paul. As far as ships go I’m not really a romantic shipper (not in terms of the outsiders specifically, but just fandom in general it’s never something I really gravitate towards). But I love breaking down different platonic friendships and seeing how messy they can get, because, at least in my own life, some of the most impactful relationships I’ve had are friends and family, both good and bad. Like I’d love to do something about Paul and Darry from their point of view (instead of filtered through Soda), because I think there are just so many ways they’re doomed to fail and there’s something so fascinating about that. Or the Two-Bit Darry dynamic which is so so important to me for literally the opposite reason lol. Also random but Steve and Darry would be fun to write. I have this head cannon for Steve that he really looks up to Darry and there’s some moment that Darry’s there for Steve in a way that maybe no one else is, and it just shifts Steve’s whole perspective on him.  (reading this back I'm realizing it's darry's dynamic with basically everyone so the short answer is that I guess 😅)

~Detail I Noticed In An Earthspark Episode That I must Yap About~

So, I've finally managed to catch up with the newest parts of Earthspark! Can safely say that while it's easy to notice where the writing had it's uh...stumbles, I still enjoyed it fairly well. Was bemused by the different plot lines, nodding along to the usual Malto Family shenanigans. Cheering when a certain Enforcer got his debut moment.

And then this episode pops up. Fire and Ice.

My eyebrows were doing jumping jacks so much during this one, I'll tell yah. Between the easter eggs/references and just genuinely surprising moments. But in a good way. I like that this show still gets me feeling so many Emotions.

One bit of dialog in particular is never going to escape me now though. The fact that I still had the urge to jump online and Yap about it even hours later made that very obvious.

What would that be?

You could definitely see the loading icon pop up above my head when I first heard that little tidbit. The type of trying to remember something mode that completely zones you out. Two seconds later, my silly little self gets BLASTED straight back down memory lane as I processed where I'd heard something similar before.

When I tell y'all I SCREECHED as the pieces clicked, I mean that so genuinely. Had to pause the episode and Contemplate Implications and everything. All while my cat padded over to sit and give me The Look for scaring her. (She was sitting on my blanket covered legs when said Incident occurred. Sorry Kitty :<)

So, here's where the main majority of my yapping comes in. Because now I absolutely must speak about this matter so my brain will stop running around it in circles.

So for starters, anyone who doesn't know what that scene directly above is or what's happening. That's the Bayverse/Live Action versions of Megatron and Jazz...interacting during one of the battle scenes in Mission City.

Megatron is the big bad scary looking one perching on that building like the world's most terrifying gargoyle. (It is most definitely perching by the by. His feet kind of act like talons in this scene and his 'wings' even tuck up against his back a moment before that shot.)

Jazz is the poor bot pinned by his legs under the big guy's foot before proceeding to get grabbed. Dunno what else Megatron might have been planning to do here. But once Jazz starts snarking and snarling at him before finally taking a few shots it quickly devolved into the moment shown above.

Megatron gets his 'two pieces' very literally and viciously swift. By tearing Jazz in two at the mech's waistline.

(Still haven't forgiven Bay for this particular character death mind you. Even as a kid I already loved Jazz during the little moments of screen time he did get. And now that I'm older I still wonder about what he could have added to the movies. ...then again considering the movie immediately after this one and how things continued to drop after they forced the trilogy to continue... eh, might have dodged a bullet there.)

Getting back on topic though. With those two scenes firmly in mind, I have proceeded to over analyze and over think whatever I could. And I wanted to share it with all of you! (Please do feel free to add on in tags/reblogs. I love to hear different takes on this kind of stuff.)

Firstly, characters in scene. What struck me the hardest was that the enraged jabs in the Earthspark scene are between Bumblebee and Prowl. Two bots who are commonly at least friends if not pretty close with Jazz across various Transformers continuites when shown together.

(The fighting that happens in this episode and especially the various arguments/words exchanged under the influence of The Rage Virus are a whole other essay I could write about. But not in this one.)

That factor of association because of other stories, shows ect lead my mind onto the second big thing I noticed during the exchange. The same question asked gets two very similar yet also drastically different responses. And also the detail of which bot is saying what.

Whereas in the movie the answer from Bay!Megatron is: "No. I want two."

In TFE, Prowl responded with: "No. I want the whole thing."

I don't know if I'm just reaching here or if one of those beautiful bastards on the writing team for that episode of TFE decided to give a nod with that line. But something in my brain definitely perked up and caught on because of that and is refusing to let go without giving it a thorough thinking on.

Just... The almost mirrored responses. The way Prowl's answer sounded just a little oddly worded until you Know what happened after the original. The tense situations, were one mech is pinned down under the other's foot. The fact that they swapped/changed that particular part of the answer. And that it's PROWL saying it??

ARGH-
