The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is planning on changing their regulations for telehealth prescriptions of controlled substances. However, they have opened comments up for people to voice their opinions. You can submit a formal anonymous comment HERE. The comment period ends on March 31st, 2023.

This is an important issue for those who are prescribed controlled substances (e.g., testosterone or ADHD medication) through telehealth, which means it can and will impact trans people on testosterone and a ton of others if this goes through.

Does modern Machete ever have to deal with getting his blood drawn? I'd imagine he wouldn't react well. I tend to puke since my body is like an anxious dog that doesn't like its blood being stolen and I can only imagine Machete goes through similar troubles.

I think it might be the opposite actually, he's had so many blood tests over the years that by his 30's he's become desensitized to it. It's still not nice, he doesn't enjoy it, but the prospect of an illness going untreated scares him way more than any medical procedure needed to diagnose and treat it.

To everyone curious about fic updates…. I promise they will be updated soon. Back in December I had issues with multiple client’s health insurance and became extremely burnt out and overwhelmed by the process of fighting with insurance companies (fuck united most of all, all my homies hate united). It triggered a chronic illness flare so bad that all I’ve been able to do is go to work and sleep. I’ve written when I had energy but that hasn’t been much so it’s been like trudging through the mud to do much of anything.

I’ve had tonsillitis on and off for almost 2 months straight folks… and my own insurance is dicking me around about getting properly treated for it. Plus getting a tonsillectomy in your 30s fucking sucks so I’ve just been living with it. America is a dumpster fire. Hopefully there’s something for both Play Dead and Ego Death by the weekend. -They have battery issues, really easy fix but she prioritizes her victims patients more.

-They always diagnose simple illnesses as the plague, he's convinced it will return!

-he mostly issues he/they but personally doesn't care if called a she.

-if anyone calls Crow the "crow" a hummingbird they will personally prove you wrong.

-due to the battery issues most of the time he works himself for "death"
