You put those thoughts aside, clutching the box full of cupcakes tightly, you reached the elevator in the main building, dialing the highest number, you waited patiently, humming the light music on hold, on your way out you simply walked a few more steps and knocked on the door already well known. It opened with a creak, as soon as you entered, being received by an arm hooking onto you in a loose hug, you smiled when you saw Mikey, anxious to see what you had prepared this time, despite not being his favorites, everything you did to he, would be a culinary work.

"By the way, today is dyeing day."

"Hmm? It is?"

You muttered at Rindou's words, noticing now, the boys who already had part of their natural color at the root of their hair, you shrugged smiling at the younger of the Haitani, nodding at his request, earning pitying glances from Kakucho, who was the only one who decided not to alter his original hair.

You approached him, rubbing his shoulders in a comforting way, trying not to let his kicked puppy look affect you, you offered him a smile that was enough to warm his heart, looking for a second at the expressions of his companions to silently boast of being the only one that received all your attention.

"Don't worry Kaku, I'll make sure that my next day off is just for you, we can make that recipe you told me about the other day, or visit some place you want."

The completely bitter and serious expressions of the others turned into small grimaces that were meant to be smiles as you turned to them, letting Takeomi lead the group out while you give a last silent wave to Kakucho, who simply nodded at your action, as soon as you were out of sight a frown on his face.

Kaku really hated 'dyeing days' because he was the only one not included in the bonding time with everyone, but then again he could always take advantage of it, just like now, he always got an extra day with you, and best of all It's just that it was just you and him, so he had your full attention.

Although he had to leave that for later, now, returning with the boys and you, you went out of the building to the crowded streets of Tokyo, everyone staying on the sidelines except Kokonoi, who was the only one who went with you to buy the hair dye, since the group itself would draw a lot of attention and he was the one handling the money, the others reluctantly agreed as he took your hand to guide you to the nearest store.

"Don't you want to dye your hair too?"

"I think not for now, my hair doesn't look so bad right?"

"Of course not! It's perfectly fine."

You laughed at how Koko was quick to make sure your hair was perfectly fine, knowing how delicate people your age could be because of the dreaded gray hair. You both walked out of there after choosing the appropriate colors for everyone, smiling at the packages you were holding in your hand.

It reminded you of your youth, you went through that stage too, you learned how to apply the dye on your own because going to a hairdresser would be a lot of work and much more expensive, although you stopped applying so many dyes to your hair because it started to get drier. When the boys discovered this —snooping through your old photos from your high school days— they asked you to apply the dye.

While everyone got used to being treated by a ridiculously expensive professional hairdresser, nothing could compare to taking advantage of this to spend more time with you, not to mention enjoying the feeling of being pampered by you, giving them a little scalp massage when you applied the dye to them, it was something that even the most experienced or expert hairdresser could not achieve.

"Who should be first?"

You all ended up in your house, because you continued to maintain that house even though the boys told you it wasn't necessary, but you hadn't spent most of your life working to buy this property and now just abandon it so abruptly, no, you weren't going through that, plus it was always like a refuge of your own peace of mind, although in the majority there was always someone who interrupted you on your day off.

You observed that everyone had impatient eyes, watching as you internally debated who should be the first to go through your majestic hands and head caresses, taking one last look at everyone you made up your mind once and for all.

"I guess we can start with Ran, since I'm going to take longer with him, you go after Rin, the rest of you shouldn't take that long so you can choose the order, oh, without any shouting or throwing knives."

You warned before taking the brothers to the bathroom, aware that the last time you told them to choose the order in which you were going to dye them they ended up fighting to see who would be the first to receive your attention. You started working with Ran, massaging his head while applying the dye, it took you half an hour to finish them both as they had two different colors, which complicated the process, luckily the others only had one color to choose from.

You weren't surprised that the next one to enter the bathroom was Mikey, after all he was the boss, and if the brothers had been lucky enough to go before him, it was only because it was your decision and he respected it. You took your time with him, knowing that he enjoyed more than anyone the reassurance that your fingers gave him, running over his skin in a firm but gentle way, it was refreshing for him, the only place where he could let his guard down and relax to the point where he almost falls asleep

The next one was Takeomi, he was the fastest since he only had a small part of his hair, that didn't mean that he didn't feel satisfied by the simple fact of being with you alone. He was followed by an impatient Sanzu, who was always very restless despite being with you, as if he were the rebellious and hyperactive son of the group, then Mochizuki entered and finally Kokonoi.

You sighed once you kicked Koko out of the bathroom, leaving you to relieve yourself while cleaning the dye stains left on your hands, you wet your face to cool off, feeling tired after a long day.

"Guys… can you tell me what the hell are you doing with my school album again? I thought I had hidden it…"

You stared blankly at the group of men who decided to deliberately ignore your words, one of the few times they did, more focused on gossiping about your past as a student.

"Who is it? You have many photos with this person."

Sanzu pointed, you approached to check who was, a smile tugging at your lips upon seeing that person, the boys silently stared at your expression, feeling an internal anger against the stranger despite not knowing anything about that person.

"That was my first couple, although we didn't end up very well."

"Why?"

"Cheated on me with someone else." you immediately noticed how the tension increased in the room, rushing to continue talking "Oh, but we were both very inexperienced, it was the first relationship for both of us and we had many ups and downs."

"Why would you keep the photos of this person? Seems useless."

"Mikey… that's rude, I keep them because it's a memory of my life, although I only keep the good times."

They continued to look at more photos —some embarrassing— and judge the people you had the closest contact with in the past, Takeomi making a mental list of the few names you inadvertently let slip as you remembered between laughs and blushes of embarrassment your adolescent adventures

Although there was someone who annoyed them more than anyone, a girl, an old classmate who decided to mess with you for something quite common in pubescence, pimples and early physical changes, her harassment was only verbal, small teasing so that her group of friends would laugh, luckily nothing physical happened, mostly because one day you decided to stand up to it and set the record straight, since teachers don't do much, you decided that sometimes taking control of the situation wasn't a bad idea.

The girl was embarrassed years later by her attitude towards you and apologized when you met her as an adult, you simply forgave her because she was not and would not be anyone important in your life, there was no point in hating her when you could just forget her.

But the boys did not like this at all, they heard from your own mouth ─because they begged you to tell them the whole story─ that many nights you cried, self-conscious about your appearance, forcing you to do things that were dangerous to your health, both mental and physical, you didn't go to extremes, but without a doubt that year was a bad time that you prefer to bury in the depths of your mind.

Oh boy, Bonten was going to dig up the shit for you to clear your conscience, rather his own under the guise of 'doing it for you', what better way to get over someone than to just wipe them off the face of the Earth? It's a pleasant job for them anyway, especially if they're people who had hurt their mother in some way. You may have taken it as a joke, but the idea of hunting down your former bad classmates, or teachers, were not empty words, it was a promise.

"Hello, Kakucho? Didn't we have an important meeting today?"

"Ah, we can always do without one or two, so don't worry, isn't it better to spend the day with me than listen to us talk for hours about business?"

"I suppose you're right, hearing about your companies is more boring than working as a cashier."

You smiled tightening Kaku's grip on your hand, leading you through a pretty garden full of different flowers, completely oblivious to the reasons why you hadn't been allowed to attend today's meeting. You let go of his hand when he had to take a call, seizing the moment alone you bent down to see a lovely red rose, touching the soft petals of it, going down to the stem just feeling a little prick.

"Ow, it has very sharp spines."

You muttered, a drop of blood falling onto the green grass, staining it slightly red, you immediately felt someone pull your shoulder back, meeting you with a worried look that caused you to laugh.

"Let's get you a doctor."

"Kaku, it's just a cut, some water and a band-aid will suffice."

"Oxygenated water, we don't know if more people have touched that."

"Okay big baby…"

As you spent the afternoon nonchalantly by Kakucho's side, the rest of the boys personally took it upon themselves to give proper torture to that girl who once messed with your appearance, all taking turns slowly draining her blood, letting her life slowly and painfully escaped from her body.

"This teach you not to mess with mom, you stupid bitch."

Sanzu smiled sickly, taking the last turn to finish at once, the others watching in silence, their faces, hands and clothes stained with fresh blood, feelings of pure hatred manifested with blows, stabs, cuts… it was the price to pay for messing with someone she shouldn't, and she had to accept it. Sanzu grabbed the trusty pistol from him, without thinking twice, drowning out the agonized screams that did not stop ringing for four full clock hours, the last drops of blood spattering the walls.

Everyone ─except Kaku─ shrank from your angry gaze, ducking their heads like children scolded for doing something wrong, they already knew what they were up against when they arrived at your house completely covered in blood.

As she stepped through the doors of the airport, her ears rang with the roar of the fans who waited there, desperately hoping to catch a glimpse of her. Feeling a smile tug at the corner of her lips, she waved to them as she walked to her vehicle. Suddenly there was a shout as some fans broke free from behind the barricades, pouring out across the airport. Eyes flashing with panic, she turned to look at Nina and the other girls who were being swept in the opposite direction by the security team. “Y/N!” She desperately tried to grab Nina’s hand but she was already too far away, “Head for the car!” She nodded back and began to push through the crowd, with no idea of where her security team was, she grumbled under your breath. Spotting a side exit that seemed relatively clear, she made herself as small as possible and hurried towards the door, shooting her group chat a quick message to let them know that she was okay and had made it out of the airport. 

As she felt fresh air hit her face she exhaled a breath she didn’t even know she’d been holding. Fuck had that been scary. Gazing up and down for the car, she spotted a black car up ahead. Glancing down at the registration plate number on her phone she made a dash for the car, “Oh my god is that Y/N from Eclipse?!” Shit. She didn’t even look back as she heard more people gathering behind her. Breaking out into a light jog, she made it to the vehicle just as the people behind her started their chase. Throwing the door open and haphazardly tossing her bag onto the backseat she jumped into the car and slid down in the seat with a relieved sigh as the excited fans ran right past the car not even noticing she’d jumped in. Making sure to ping her location to Nina as soon as the door was closed.

An annoyed cough drew her attention back to the situation at hand. Removing her sunglasses she looked up at the driver, Well shit. “Y-you again?!” Green eyes glared back into hers as a familiar face sat in the driver’s seat. Her mouth gaped in shock as she realised it was the same guy from Australia. What was he? French? She was pretty sure he was French… What were the chances? 

“This isn't funny. Get out of my car!” Her brow furrowed, “Your car? No, this is mine.” He scoffed at her obtuse attitude, “You fucking wish. Now, get out.” Her jaw twitched in annoyance. “Why the fuck are you my driver? Did you sneak past security?” He laughed, head tipping back and in any other circumstances, she would have acknowledged how handsome he looked. “Me? Sneak past security? That’s all you… Not only did you follow me in Australia but you followed me across the world? You’re crazy!” She growled under her breath pulling up the car document on her phone to prove him wrong, “Look! Car reg plate LTY3413.” He raised an eyebrow before clearing his throat, “Well this car is LFY84I8.” She froze. She’d just jumped into a random car, oh my god what if he was a stalker and he kidnapped her or- 

“So are you going to get out of my car or…” He trailed off, “Shit, fuck sorry, sorry, yes…” She fumbled around grabbing her bag. Looking out of the window she spotted Nina hurrying down the path with a security guard. Almost crying with relief, she threw the door open and got out of the car as quickly as she could, 

“Nina!” Nina turned as soon as she heard a familiar voice, sprinting to Y/N who now looked a little more than dishevelled, “There’s a crazy fan!! He followed us all the way from Au… Australia.” She wheezed out, pointing to the car behind her. Nina’s eyes narrowed as she looked at the driver before her eyes widened in realisation, “Wait that’s-” her reply was cut off by the screech of the car as it quickly pulled away. Y/N winced as the sound echoed, “That’s what?” Nina giggled and nudged her side, “That was Charles Leclerc… the Formula One driver?” Y/N laughed. There was no way. “You’re joking right?” Nina shook her head, “Wait, is he the guy you bumped into in Australia?” She nodded, head almost completely empty as their couple of encounters speeded through her mind once more, Nina snorted out a laugh, “At least he’s cute?” Y/N shook her head firmly, “He’s an asshole! And he has no idea who I am!” Nina gave her a condescending look as their actual car pulled up and they climbed in with the other girls, “Okay, one, don’t ever say that again you sound like a diva and a bitch.” “Ouch.” “Just being honest love,” the other girls looked at the two of them curiously, “and two, you had no idea who he was either.” “To be fair, both times I met him were in rather high pressure situations.” Y/N threw back at her. 

“Who is ‘he’?” Aurora asked curiously, “The mystery French guy from Australia? Yeah he’s not French, he’s Monegasque and he just so happens to be a famous F1 driver!” “You mean Charles Leclerc?” Eden asked not even looking up from her phone “So everyone knows him apart from me?!” Y/N whined, covering her face with her hands in embarrassment. Aurora giggled, “Did you see him again or something?” Nina laughed, “She got into his car and then ran away screaming that he was a stalker.” She felt her face heat up as mortification washed over her, “The reg plate was practically the same!” She defended herself as the girls all fell into laughter around her. With a huff she sat back in her seat, sulking all the way to the hotel.

Charles sped away as fast as possible. It was too much of a coincidence that he was bumping into her yet again. He needed to somehow work out who she was so security could keep an eye out for her. Reaching the restaurant where he was meeting some of the other drivers and their partners, he climbed out of the car and shook his head as he looked at the reg plate. He had to admit, she was very loyal to her cause. Even if that cause was stalking the shit out of him and following him across the world. Locking the car and heading in, he was greeted by the group “What’s up guys!” He gave a brief wave before taking a seat next to Carlos, lowering his voice, “You remember I told you about that crazy fan in Australia?” Carlos nodded, already slightly suspicious as he sipped his drink, “well she’s here.” Carlos choked on, placing his glass back on the table as he coughed and spluttered, drawing the rest of the party’s attention, “Are you serious?!” Charles nodded, “What’s going on mon ami?” Pierre asked from the other side, pausing his conversation with Alex and Lily who also looked on with curious yet concerned gazes. Charles took a deep breath, 

“This fan followed me here all the way from Australia and today she got in my car…” “What the fuck?” Max spat out with a shake of his head, already angry “Are you okay mate?” George asked with a concerned look, Charles nodded, “Yeah I’m fine, just wanna forget about it to be honest.” The table all nodded before breaking into conversation; weather for the weekend, stats, plans for summer break, Alex’s pets, until there was a lull in conversation and Alex spoke up,

“Guys, Lily and I are going to the Eclipse concert in Rome when we’re in Italy, who wants to come with us? We can make it a group night out?” “Are they that girl group that blew up recently?” Max asked as Lily nodded, “Yeah, I’m kind of obsessed with them,” Kika nodded in agreement already pulling Lily into a conversation about their best songs “Guys I’ve listened with Lily in the car and their music is actually really good.” Alex admitted as Pierre and Carlos nodded with murmurs of agreement, “I’m down.” George agreed, Charles wrinkled his nose apprehensively, “I don’t know mate…” Alex passed his phone down the table to Charles, the group’s instagram page already pulled up and loaded. 

Charles took hold of Alex’s phone, scrolling through the music announcements and behind the scenes pictures until he scrolled past one that looked somewhat familiar. No. No way, it couldn’t be… could it? He scrolled down further to see more pictures of her staring back at him. He choked on air as his previous interactions with her flashed through his head. He stared at a picture of her smiling backstage and blushed slightly, when she wasn’t angry or glaring, she actually looked super cute and- dare he say it… totally his type… What? He shook his head. Now was not the time to start daydreaming about a very cute girl that he’s totally offended several times. Oh fuck. He’d been an utter asshole to her… and he was about to come and watch her perform live? 

Well shit.  

"You okay there Charles?" Alex called down the table watching as his friend's face contorted into an expression that could only be described as horror, awe and embarrassment. Charles shook his head dumbly, eyes still glued to the phone screen,

"That-that's her." Carlos gave an empty chuckle as the rest of the table turned silent. “Nahhh… Surely you don’t mean…” Lando trailed off as Max slowly caught on to the situation,

"The girl from Australia and the airport?" Carlos’ jaw dropped open as he confirmed what Charles was saying. Charles nodded dumbly and grabbed his own phone, pulling up instagram to search for the page himself as the rest of the table broke out into a mixture of wheezing laughter and exclamations, 

"Trust you to make that mistake!"

"You really didn't recognise her?" "Mate I cannot believe this!"

For the rest of the evening Charles found himself subtly stalking her on instagram, finding her personal account and scrolling through the pictures that had been posted there, some professional, some snapped by friends, some self-taken shots. With each picture that passed, he found himself smiling back whenever her smile appeared. God he wished he’d seen it in person. 

“Charles?” A voice pulled him from his reverie and he looked up to see Pierre smirking at him, “what are you up to?” Charles cleared his throat hastily, “Liking her pictures from the look of it…” Carlos said next to him leaning in to look at his phone screen with a stifled laugh. "Liking her pictures...?" Lily smirked and Lando stifled a laugh as Charles looked down and felt his stomach drop at the sight of that little heart that had somehow turned red. He practically threw his phone down on the table, when had he done that?

"Oh my god no! No no no! What should I do?" Max shrugged, seemingly unphased,

"No good unliking it, she will have already seen the notification."

"Yeah along with like... thousands of others per minute, you'll be all good!" George tried to cheer him up as Charles felt his heart rate speed up.

Charles nodded as he put his phone down and tried to focus on the rest of dinner. Later in the evening, just as he was getting over his embarrassment, his phone buzzed with a notification... from... instagram? Gulping he picked up his phone and stared at the screen,

college advice? i’m starting in the fall 😭

Kay, so, I’m no professional here but I am about to pass into my 6th semester, so will hopefully soon be wrapping up my 3rd year of college so here’s some of advice

First off, go in the mornings, if you have a chance to do your schedule, go in the morning, it’s so fucking heavy to have to go in the evenings, did that once, never again

try to find a website or blog where students can give teachers reviews, these exist for most colleges and while it can be very hard to build your schedule based on the best teachers and I wouldn’t recommend doing that, it can help you be mentally prepared and know what each teacher values most ahead of time

always have smth to entertain yourself. You WILL have teachers who don’t show up or constantly cancel classes and while its fun using that time to catch up with friends, you should take a book or smth with you to keep yourself entertained during down time

if you have AFI’s (I have no fucking clue what they’re called in english but they’re activities, conferences, talks, outings, stuff like that) check how many you can do per semester and keep up with them, don’t leave them till last minute. For example, I need 14 to finish my career and can do up till 4 valid ones per semester but can only do them till my 7th semester. So check on that if you do have them as a requirement as well

Make sure you check out every part of your campus to know the best hangout spots. This is mostly just for yourself and to not get lost.

Hang out at your library if you have one, check out what they have even if you don’t particularly plan to use that many books, it can help motivate you and find more passion for your career if you’re feeling down or having doubts.

learn how to properly reference articles (perplexity is a great tool to find references)

make sure the teachers at least recognize you and, I would recommend to limit yourself to a certain number of classes you can miss. I try to limit myself to skip 3 classes from each teacher and try to not miss at all, the teachers recognizing me as someone who always goes has given me second chances and opportunities for extra points.

ALWAYS DO OPTIONAL PROJECTS FOR EXTRA POINTS, even if you feel confident in the subject, better to be safe than sorry

carry a cardigan or a light sweater and a small umbrella. You never know what teacher is gonna put the AC like it’s antartica and an umbrella can save you from sunburns and unexpected rain

carry headache pills or any medication you use semi-frequently, also a small utensils kit cause who likes using disposable utensils when you can carry your own + it’s better for the environment, also a hair tie

have an ‘emergency kit’, I have one that barely takes up a lot of space in my backpack and I am just now having to refill it 5 semesters in, I have mini deodorant, a small toothbrush/toothpaste I’ve never actually used, mini wet wipes, mini hand sanitizer, mini perfume, mini brush, toilet paper, band-aids, pads and kleenex.

^ these last 3 are cause my mama taught me to always be prepared and cause I personally can be a bit paranoid, I’m the mom-friend who always has anything anyone could ever need :) so those are according to the type of person you are. I also carry an UNO card game for when multiple teachers cancel on us (yes my backpack is very heavy but the paranoia can’t catch me if I’m prepared)

If you’re propense to low-sugar do NOT skip breakfast and try to carry a small snack, or in general always carry a small snack

if your career involves having to go to the laboratory, LISTEN TO THE INTERNS/LAB ASSISTANTS, half the time, they’ll know more than the teacher

remember, when it comes to group projects, you don’t have friends, you have classmates. Someone can be a great friend but an awful classmate and I am not risking a grade over a lazy friend, prepare yourself to separate those 2

try to figure out what to listen to when doing hw or studying, me personally, classical music (specifically cello music from the barroque period) really helps me focus

ALWAYS DO YOUR HOMEWORK, those are some of the easiest points to get

Finally, don’t be afraid to decorate your backpack! One of the funnest things of college to me (cause I was at a strict school for middle school and spent highschool in pandemic) has been to decorate my backpack with pins!

I’ve found a great thing about college is that genuienly no one cares about your interests and you can freely express yourself without fear of being bullied or ridiculed. Everyone is far too tired or focused to care. At least that has been my experience so far, be ridiculous if you like

I have ATLA pins, an asexual flag, spider-gwen, a matching carebear with my bestie, the school mascot and a dinasour (still looking for a winx pin)

My Personal Opinions on Minsung's Dynamic (2023)

Disclaimer: I am not trying to pass off my opinions as facts. This is my personal interpretation of what is laid out right in front of us. I could be completely off base because I don’t know these guys personally, so take this with a grain of salt and feel free to disagree!

I feel like this is the year where they’re as blatant as they possibly get.

This year, a lot more eyebrow raising moments come about. Ironically, a lot of them completely go under the radar under more popular moments (I.e: the neck kiss) that can be explained away as normal skinship (Han has kissed other members on the neck before) or even fanservice.

LK and Han seem a lot more settled into themselves as the year progresses. However, a lot of the habits we’ve seen of them have not changed one bit. The way they act (in concerts especially) directly parallels to how they were during all of those fansigns back in 2018. They’re always goofing off together, always finding ANY kind of way to interact. Sometimes I don’t even think they realize they’re in their “own world” at times cause it seems so habitual at this point. Someone who has seen the group in person has said it’s a lot more (extreme?) if you drift off to the side and pay close attention to those two.

This year (I don’t put fan sightings or airport pics, except the Jeju one lmao) there’s been an array of fan sightings (+ a few direct stories of their hangouts) of them during their off time as well. Like in previous years, they always seem to find a way to spend time together outside of work.

Now for a moment that I haven’t seen being talked about a lot:

Apart from their concert shenanigans, I think this one is one of the most telling. It’s during the YT live they have before Lollapalooza with Seungmin and I.N – the one where LK has the zoomies. LK asks Han for his hotel room number and Han laughs because he obvs can’t give it away on live (a lot of people freaked out about this but that’s not the part that made me raise my eyebrows at all, there was nothing questionable about that imo). It’s Seungmin’s reaction, rather. As soon as LK/Han are within a closer distance and Han responds, he literally scoots up closer to the camera to block them and stays frozen for a while. I tried to think of any other reason why that happened, but nothing else seems to come to mind.

Moments that got a kick out of me:

Han stomping his feet as soon as LK strips off his coat (for him, not for the fans 😭😭😭) during Sydney day 2, as he was watching him through the big screen.

LK being V.I.P to Han’s muscles and blatantly checking him out before Han covers himself up during the one of the later dome tour concerts.

Han twirling his butt for LK (im not making this up) during the soundcheck before the second Los Angeles concert and the look LK gives him as he’s approaching. 😵‍💫

And the long-awaited moment I’ve been itching to talk about. Maniac Tour - Sydney day 1.

Hooo boy.

There’s a lot to unpack, but I don’t want to go into details at all, for good reason (I think it’s pretty clear if you watch the clips). The way they were acting throughout that concert had me speechless, like they couldn’t turn off their giddiness for one second. Take a shot every time Han’s butt gets smacked/touched in that day alone. LK getting on YT live a couple of days after and trying to explain the ~lower body workout~ they had. If you notice how nervous he was trying to explain himself- 😵‍💫

Han couldn’t even sit down prop– *gunshots*

But anyways, it’s the most sus moment between them I’ve ever seen.

And 5-Star promotions. It was a time when Han was feeling noticeably under the weather. If you watch all throughout that period, Lee Know is so attentive and watchful of him. While Han strikes me as a “words” kind of person (case in point: their 2 kids show episode, Han was doing most of the talking lmao), Lee Know comes across as an “acts of service” type of guy. You’re not really going to hear him wax poetic about the members, but you’ll see his love for them through his actions. This is so evident here. You can see how much LK cares about him; the love he has for Han has always been so obvious, since the beginning.

From what we’re able to see, LK never seems to pressure (or even playfully tease) Han to act a certain way. He lets him be, all while being super attentive and being playful/funny as a way to make him feel better.

Also, Han being the one to write and share “Want So Bad” (+ the times during the tour where he pointed at LK when fans would show him husband/boyfriend/girlfriend posters; I wasn't able to find the footage paired w/ the posters of those moments unfortunately) makes all of this so bittersweet. Especially when you look back at his reactions towards LK in 2018 with anything “flirty” or potentially anything that toes the platonic line (i.e: the feelings discussion in the 1st 2KR). Having that little insight really pieces a lot of things together, especially when you go back and watch their moments from previous years. Again, they've come so far. 😭😭

My personal opinion:

I believe this is the year they want us to know, or rather the fans who have long suspected something going on between them.

Here, they’re at their 5th year of being idols (almost 6 years as a group). At this point, they know just how much they can get away with. The act of shipping is pretty ubiquitous amongst different groups because of the conditions we see them in (members are in constant close proximity with each other and we constantly see them interact). Which makes it easy for fans to partake in the act of shipping. These guys have been shipped with each other (and with other members!) for years now.

Skinship, Shipping, and “Bromance” isn’t exactly discouraged at all either. There’s a long history of fans shipping idols together, within and outside of their groups. Fanservice surrounding this is also widespread. I’ve followed enough groups over the years to notice certain/similar patterns amongst the shipping side of the fanbase and the idols concerned.

Which is where Minsung come in.

A few of the things they do (or the group as a whole, rather) can be passed off as just that (some of the 'ments at the Japan DOME concert tour come to mind), but a lot of things we’ve seen over the years cannot be explained away with FS or even SKZ-typical skinship and flirting. The “slip-ups” (I.e: Sydney day 1 lmfao) and the consistent patterns of their behavior I’ve compiled throughout these videos (I.e: LKs behavior in 2018, 2022, and 2023, especially) are at the tip of the iceberg.

There’s the “you’re my boyfriend, too” moment. The reason why I believe it made the final cut in the vlog was because it’s directly quoted from a show (also telling of how clever LK is). A moment like this could easily be written off as FS, however, it’s their reactions to it all that make me believe it’s legitimately a safe but clever way of saying something (before the more blatant Want So Bad was even written). As soon as LK jokingly says that his Gimpo friend is his boyfriend, he looks straight at Han and says “right?”, as if trying to egg on a reaction from him. Han visibly looks taken aback, like he was almost about to choke on his food, probably not expecting LK at all to say anything like that. But Han (probably also familiar with that quote) says “What about me?”. And LK responds accordingly.

Also, Felix/Changbin did a SKZ record love duet a couple of years back. Chan also suggested Felix do one with him during a (2KR?) episode. He recently released one with I.N too. It’s not exactly foreign to them.

Artists of the opposite sex collab on love songs/duets all the time. But I obviously don’t think any of the other members are more than platonic in any way shape or form because they don’t have consistent actual eyebrow raising moments that can’t be explained away with SKZ’s usual brand of jokey and/or playful flirting (i.e: CB/HJ’s dynamic), their no-boundary skinship, or run-of-the-mill fanservice that’s not unusual in the industry.

Opinions on the 2 Kids Show Episode (cause someone asked me about it and I thought it would be appropriate to add it onto here):

FIRST THINGS FIRST…

I am shocked by the near lack of teasing from Changbin. I thought he was going to go all the way with the teasing (in a similar fashion LK did with Felix and CB). He did get a few couple of things in though (Like how Han said he was too tired to go back to his dorm after he hung out with LK even though they live a floor apart) and CB being like “ooooh wow that’s a creative excuse”.

I’m also surprised, but not surprised by the vague description of “Want So Bad” from Han. First, during his Q&A on bubble, and then during the 2KS episode. To me, that speaks volumes. Especially when you compare it with how Han normally speaks about his work and with how other members (who also did love songs) spoke about their own duets. 

And them saying certain things about their bond, but then kind of contradicting themselves minutes later is interesting??? A lot of things were kept vague-ish throughout the episode - compare with Felix/Changbin being more open/specific about their friendship and joking about certain things like the pre debut kiss vs Minsung being more lowkey-ish.

If Minsung just released “Want So Bad” without doing much of anything questionable, then I would honestly believe they are just friends because, again, love duets aren’t exactly foreign to the group.

But take all of the genuinely eyebrow raising moments + the love song (and its more specific lyrics, i.e: the cosmos flower mention; get closer I'm not playing around) + the near lack of/vaguer discussion compared to other SKZ records/try to compare their "discussion" to I.N/Chan's and Felix/Changbin's + Han specifically saying as he went over the lyrics he was reminded of LK. It paints a pretty damning picture IMO.

Which is why I believe they’re using whatever they have within their means (the pervasive shipping culture, the industry’s familiarity with fanservice, other things that overlap with what other members have done/said in the past like the the duets, etc.) to say as much as they can possibly say without damaging their careers and possibly the careers of the people surrounding them.

Now giving that Larry's so small, he could definitely fit into most of your clothes and this is apparent ALL the time. So while you’re buying mountains of clothing, you’re basically buying it for the both of you. For example,

I'm talking full hello kitty chain, the Pants, the shirt --which is occasionally more then not a cropped top-- the shoes, and you definitely got the eye liner on and mascara on point.

Now obviously Grunk is your son, and you definitely treat him as such. You love love love love love matching with Gunk, even though he's over there and your over here, you travel ALOT so your at Grunk's house at least one time a month JUST to take pictures and match with him.

Like I can just imagine LTLVC, it's one of those points in the challenge that there's no challenges going on and usually gets edited out for times sake and Both you and grunk are unusually quiet. then grunk sits back in frame all dressed up in hello kitty and he's just like,

"Guys! Look what she's done to me!"

sighed, elated from everyone hugging you as you held back tears of happiness. "i feel so free now, and i wont have to worry about what i feel about him anymore. i've moved on, i finally moved on." you choke out and started laughing.

summary :: wanting to go back to your dorm from the library, and accidentally leaving a friend's book there not knowing she has the intention of making you give it to someone she's trying to set you up with, a note inside with your number. without anyone realising, the book is in the hands of someone else, and you then wake up to a message from an unknown number.

Chapter 1: ~Machi's unfortunate surprise~🧵🃏

[Machi Komacine is a 23 year old woman who's apart of the Phantom Troupe. a group of thieves and murders but to her they were like family. well all except one... Hisoka Morow replacement number 4 he had joined the Troupe 4 years ago and him and Machi became...... teammates to say the least she didn't really like him but over time developed feelings for the stupid clown but she'd never say it. of course he had feelings for her too and told her all the time. but she always just took what he said with a grain of salt not sure if he's lying or not but regardless things were about to change.

April 10th the troup was all together celebrating a big heist they just pulled off. so they decided to have a party✨ most of them got drunk but not Machi nor Hisoka. although something did go down between them that night Machi blamed it on "I was drunk" she'd always lie or blame it on something she'd never amit to it. a few days later Machi noticed something... Different...but didn't say anything. a 1 week later some of the Troupe decided to move to the next city but they ALL agreed to meet up again in a month. they wanted to hangout more. (Look idk I just need a excuse 😭) when they got to the new hideout Machi had to know. and so that night she found out...she was pregnant.... she didn't tell anyone but she was having a heart attack she had no idea what to do....this made her feel weak. she let her gard down what was she to do?...but before anything. she'd wait till he arrived... The father of this baby.. now as I said before not all the Troupe came with Machi the only people at the hideout right now were Chrollo, Pakunoda, Shalnark, Shizuku, Kortopi & Machi. they were still waiting for the other members one of them being the father of this kid. and so a few days past and now everyone was there. everyone except Hisoka. now normally Machi wouldn't care if he showed up or not but this was different they needed to talk.... two MORE days later and the clown finally decided to show up. although Hisoka was only planning to stay a few days maybe a week that was about to change once Machi starts talking. Chrollo exampled that he'd be staying in this city for a few months because he was a bit tired of moving and he added that any other member of the troupe could stay with him and that was all.]

Hisoka: Hi Machi~

Machi: Hi...or whatever...

Hisoka: so how are you doing?~

Machi: what do you care!

Hisoka: oh my dear Machi I care because your my friend, Teammate, Fellow spider and maybe something more someday~

Machi: S..Shut up! we're teammates that's it!

You were at a club with all your friends. it was one of your friends birthday so, the whole friend group went out to celebrate. You had all been out shopping for dresses leading up to the date. All of you had chosen different designs of black dresses. Yours was a slim fit that had a slit on the left leg.

With long arms that flared at your hands. You had also bought a glitter spray; it made the dresses shine at the club. You were all getting hammered tonight there was no doubt about it, so you had to walk to the club and probably take an uber back.

At the club the vibe was immaculate, indicating that it was going to be a good night. The colored lights throughout the whole club set the mood. The music rhythm and vibrations everything was on point. People and drinks were everywhere, everyone taking shots after shots. Your friends made you dance, and you didn't complain, everyone was on the dance floor at this point, letting the music take control over your bodies, after a while you all found a table that was large enough to host the whole friend group. The music was loud, so when some of your friends came up to you from the dance floor, it was hard to make up the words they were saying. Eventually you caught on, they had found the guys they usually hangout with at parties. They wanted to all hang together.

So of course, you went with. They all introduced you to the guys, when one caught your eye, Gavi was his name. his eyes were met with yours and you walked over. He was holding eye contact with constantly, which had you melting. There were butterflies in your stomach. God could he be anymore breathtaking, you thought.

He was cracking jokes all night. Touching you constantly, whispering in your ear because the music was too loud. Giving you goosebumps as his breath was so close to your ear. Leaning in when you had something to say, you could smell his cologne. It was like a drug; you couldn't get enough of him.

His POV

She's flawless, he thought. As soon as she went up to the group, she caught his eye. She had the best personality of people he had ever met. He was trying to seduce her the whole night, there was no way he was going back home tonight without making her fall for him. He didn't have an ideal type, never looking for something serious, now he was. This girl was the girl of his dreams. The way she presented herself and those siren eyes that didn't break eye contact.

He made sure to do everything possible to make her fold.

The two of them had an immediate connection, there was no going back now, they both found a charm in each other that made them fall instantly.

A couple of the girls were so hammered they thought it was time to head home. You of Course wanted to help, since you weren't as drunk. You got the girls an uber and headed home. Tonight, was for sure a sleepless night, so why not make it a selfcare night.

But Gavi was the only thing on your mind, you liked him he was a nice guy and you hoped that you had made a good first impression.You made yourself a green smoothie to sober up a bit, put on your favorite pajamas and tv show and laid in bed. Till you saw that the apartment needed a little tidy up. You went to get the jacket of the floor from the hallway of your apartment to hang it up in the closet, when something fell out of the pocket.

It was a paper note, with a number on it, you knew exactly who's it was. It was from Gavi, sneaky guy. You were happy, now you two could keep in touch. After you tidied up your flat. you got in bed again and was so eager to text him.

Let's just say you two hit it off, he wasted no time in replying to you that night. Now it has been a couple of weeks, Gavi had asked you to hang out on multiple occasions. You two had gotten extremely close, as friends. that's what you thought though. He hadn't asked you out, but you knew he liked you; his eyes told you everything there was to know. You did not mind, you respected that maybe he wanted to prioritise his carrier, even though deep down you wanted more. Or perhaps he wanted to take things slow. Whatever it was, you couldn't be bothered, his company was something special to you, including the movie nights, dinner nights, deep talks and the silence you two could maintain on the low days. You knew that he would have to surrender at some point. And you weren't going to let anything come between this relationship with him. He was your soulmate, and you would wait for him, for as long as it takes.

Little did you know it would happen in the next couple of days...

Gavi had invited the whole friend group over for a pizza and movie night. The group would exchange turns on hosting the pizza night once every month, and tonight was Gavi's turn.

You arrived first to help him out, but he didn't let you yet made you a coffee had you rest on the couch.

People started arriving shortly after, taking seats, pizza was served, and the movie was turned on. Till your B/f/n started talking about a trip to Italy. How all of you had saved up for a trip a while back to have some fun after all the exams were over. Everybody was into the idea and eventually you all bought the tickets. It was a couple of hours later they all headed home leaving you and Gavi at the apartment. You helped him clean up, and he wanted you to stay the night, but you wanted to head home to start packing since the trip was only in a few days. you could feel the adrenaline rushing through your body, you needed an escape from all the schoolwork during the year. Everyone felt the same. Gavi the most though, it was off season for him, so he was able to have some time to spend with his friends and family.

At the airport you all boarded the flight and got into your seats. Now this is where you stared to get suspicious of the incidents that were happening. You and Gavi were seated next to each other. Later the group was giving you looks and whistles every time you and Gavi talked to each other in the slightest. Even the hotel rooms. You had asked your friends how the rooms would be shared, and they all apologized and said they had all already paired up and you and Gavi were the only ones left, meaning you had to share rooms. Now what was going on, you thought.

Walking into the room a problem waiting for you to arrive, there was only one bed.

"Gavi" you said in anticipation

"I know" he spoke immediately knowing what you were thinking.

"Their getting out of control, I will sleep on the floor you take the bed" he demands.

But you weren't going to let that happen, he was shy, but obviously wanted you to be comfortable.

He made you feel safe and sleeping next to him would be more of a pleasure.

It had been three days since you had arrived in Italy and things were going well, this morning you all had breakfast and wanted to head to the beach.

Gavi had been acting weird every time you made eye contact with him, he would make it longer and it made you feel some kind of way, everything happened so fast the next couple of hours.

Chilling at the beach on the sand, the sun hitting your eyes making you squint. Gavi came and asked if you wanted to go in the water with him. The wet sand was beneath your feet felt nice. You were about to start a conversation with Gavi when he shocked you, or did he?

"Y/N I like you" he spills his feeling out of the blue. Well for him, you didn't react. Only smiling at him the sight of the sun shining on your face making you look more beautiful than ever in his eyes.

"Took you long enough, you idiot" you giggled at his flabbergasted face.

"Was I that obvious?" his asked desperate for your answer.

"Gavi, I have liked you ever since that night at the bar, I was just waiting for you to be sure, I will always wait for you I want you to know that, and I want to be yours". You were about to ramble some more. When he steps closer and gently cubs your face with both of his hands and kisses you the most passionate kiss ever. You hummed into his lips, and he took it as a hint to hold you closer and kiss you deeper.

Whistles coming from your group of friends, shouting “finally”. "What kind of slow burn romance were you two on, because damn that took you long" they state indicating they all knew about your feeling for one another.

Walking up to them and seeing Gavi head to the boys as you scanned his face. The smile lines around his eyes and the look of accomplishment he had on his face, made you fall even harder, you loved this boy.

7:02 am.

Today was the weekend, and the cafe was quiet. You’ve already cleaned and wiped all the tables, and started the coffee machines. Today was going to be another busy day. The cafe always opens at 7:30 sharp, so you had enough time to grab the new stack of cups, and get the register ready.

your only coworker, beomgyu, always came a bit late, but got to work right away. The bell rings as he walks in, and the two of you greet one another.

As you put on your apron, you scroll on your phone to play a calming playlist on Spotify. Beomgyu puts his apron on, and opens the window for the early morning breeze to flow through.

As the bell chimes, your boss walks in. He greets the both of you, and walks into his office. You run to the door, and turn the sign, the red ink “closed” written, was now turned into “open.”

You then go back into your place as the cashier. A few minutes later, your regular customers come in.

they are quick to go, ordering and paying quickly as well.

A bit later, a group of 3 guys walk in, chatting with one another happily. While they are ordering drinks, you feel someone’s gaze as you get their orders down. You look up, and- you feel like you’ve just seen the prettiest person in your life. Time seems to slow down.

you stare at him for a few seconds, before snapping out of it to tell beomgyu their orders. Turning back to them, (the person who is ordering for the group,) you almost forgot their name.

“and what’s your name?” You ask politely.

“sunghoon, s-u-n-g-h-o-o-n,” he says, the last part of the sentence a bit mumbled. You nod, and type his name down to print onto the sticker on the cup.

you smile at him, “your order is going to be ready in a few minutes. Is this a to go, or are you staying in?”

he looks over at his friends, and they all say their staying. You nod, and they go sit down. You smile to yourself, and hurriedly make their drinks. You put a little extra love into sunghoon’s, and cap it.

beomgyu finishes the other half of the drinks. “Order for sunghoon!” You shout. He comes up to you, and grabs the drinks quickly. While he brings it over to his table, his friends tease him about something. He smiles at their antics.

Heeseung whispers, “someone has a little crush. Let’s come back here tomorrow~” Jake nods at him, and grins. Sunghoon doesn’t notice the two.

meanwhile, you were busy hoping he will come back.

The next day, you see the familiar face once again. But today, he was alone. The name you learned from him yesterday, sunghoon, was pretty awkward trying to order his drink.

you can see he is shy, because he’s hiding his face into his scarf. Cute, you think. His order is a to-go, much to your disappointment. You make his drink as you and beomgyu switch places, now beomgyu being the cashier.

you call out sunghoons name, but this time, you write your number onto his cup. You draw a little smiley face next to your digits, and smile to yourself. I hope he texts me, you smile.

as sunghoon grabs his cup, he smiles at you, but stops in his tracks on his way out. She wrote her number. Wait.. she wrote her number!?! He stops himself from squealing since he was already grinning like an idiot. He was definitely going to text you later.

He hurried home to his dorm, and immediately told his friends. “See, I knew she was into you!” Jake playfully punched sunghoons arm, while wrapping his other around his shoulders.

sunghoon grins, but his smile drops soon after. “But.. how do I start the conversation..? I don’t have any experience in this..”

Jake slowly turns his head and looks at the sulking male beside him. “Are you for real..?” Sunghoon nods. “Dude! You’re an absolute loser for this! How have you not had any girlfriends with that face of yours?!?”

Sunghoon doesn’t know what to do. Will jake help him?
