Unused Birthday Post As A Marylin Munroe Reference
Another unused post on Carlos Ramber's showed they were going to do a Marylin Munroe reference for Miss Heed's birthday celebration. Again she uses everyone as props to build herself up and to play with them like they are her toys. I do admit it would be great to see this fully drawn especially since I do think some like Coyote would be awesome looking in a suit. Also another case of humiliation for Coyote and Omega.

I hc before living with women, Migs place looked pretty Bare, just was very minimalist as I hc many apartments in 2099 are, and just really kept to that until Xina moved in.
Xina loving Marylin Munroe and all things twen cen brought a 70's inspired feel to the apartment. So there's lots of colors, a lot of angles to his furniture. Of course the famous conversation pit he shows off. He had one input that the walls be blue.
Then Dana moved in and Dana had more expensive tastes, but already liked the majority look. Adding to it with a fine art collection and a few gold accents. She'd also order a holo-fire bar wall separating their all kitchen and living room. The kitchen has black counters on dark wood with gold accents. All their plates were square and they had a few variety sets for when Dana had people over that was like their "good China." All of the silverware looks gold. The fridge has a touch pad that tells him what's inside.
Now the fine art's been taken down and replaced with Gabe and Feli's and Peebs and other society artist's pieces. In addition to the finer dishes, there's cups and dishes that have been left by other members that stick out mixed in against the matching sets. He and Jess have a substantial mug collection now. Now there's hints of pink in Jess's throw blankets on the couch and red on his mirror from her lipstick. The guest room is finally getting some use. The walls are still blue.
#「 ɪ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʀᴀᴢɪᴇꜱᴛ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ...ᴛᴀʟᴏɴꜱ ᴏɴ ᴍʏ ꜰɪɴɢᴇʀꜱ... || ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴꜱ 」#|| Miguel your heart's too big. they'll kill you Miguel#lets people come into his life and take up his space just how he likes it#hes also got a decent lil gamer pc rig in his room but thats not as romantic to talk abt LDJDKSBSK#BUT IT KINDA IS he gets to play more games with his brother and friends now 💙 and he buys Jess a nice laptop so they can play together 💙💙

Howard Stark Hedacanon #3
Howard when Marylin came on the scene in Hollywood, had the hugest crush on her and wanted to sleep with her so bad. "at least once" he always said.
He always made sure to talk to her at parties and events, but when he finally shots shot once and was pretty straight forward but polite.
but she turned him down, he knew she just wasn't attracted to him.
Years later when he would half hearted jokingly state that if he ever "It would most deftly be on my tombstone" to which Maria shot him a half mean look and he would follow up with "It would say loved husband and father, but before he was a man who slept with Marylin Munroe"
(Dont act like he wouldn't attempt to slept with her, everyone wanted her! )

#034 The Transpersonal Planets: Neptune
#034 The Transpersonal Planets: Neptune
Dreamy Neptune takes 164.8 years to orbit the Sun. It will never return to it’s natal position in our lifetime. But that doesn’t mean we won’t feel the impact of Neptune in our lives at one point or another. Depending on your planetary placements, you may already have a pretty good understanding of the solar system’s intangible planet and what to expect when he seeps into your life! In fact,…

my favourite thing about the met gala this year is that Billie Eilish got more positive feedback in 2021 for wearing a Marylin-inspired look because it was on theme, whereas Kim Kardashian wore two dresses Marilyn Munroe actually wore and it was all kind of “meh” because she got the theme wrong
#in her défense she thought gilded age meant golden age of cinema#so she was on theme in her HEAD#Billie is still king of the Met Gala tho

still pissed at how dirty Marylin Munroe was done in that stupid Blonde movie on Netfix, like that dumb bitch man who wrote it outright admitted to making up a lot of the shit in it (while also being based on a fictional book) and you can just tell he thought Marylin was some depressed, vapid slut who just sucked dick and was sad all the time while cramming a weird amount of anti-abortion crap in it with the director Dominik bitching and moaning when people called him out on his crap and outright said “If the audience doesn't like it, that's the fucking audience's problem. It's not running for public office. It's an NC-17 movie about Marilyn Monroe, it's kind of what you want, right? I want to go and see the NC-17 version of the Marilyn Monroe story” when it’s just made up bullshit, not even Marilyn’s story. Then again this guy also mentioned that in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes that Marilyn starred in the women in that movie are just well dressed whores which like....explains everything for why Blonde is shit and how he viewed Marilyn Munroe
#wtf was with that scene where her fetus talks to her????#fuck that director#Blonde#fuck that movie#it also never once shows how she made her own production company#and her support for Ella Fitzgerald

LAUREN’S ‘DEAR GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE’ BOOKLIST
I wanted to make a list of all the books currently in my house/on my phone waiting to be read as a ‘fun’ project to motivate myself to read them but all it made me want to do is curl up into a ball and cry lmao. Anyhow i’m posting it here a) in case anyone is curious about this list i keep talking about, and b) because i can then cross them off one by one as i go through.
Quick note: this list is not complete. I know for a fact that i’ve accidentally missed off several books, but these are the ones i’ll be focusing on for this year.... or you know, decade. Also these are all books i own (some from years ago), the list of books i don’t own but want to read is... well, probably longer. Under a read more to save us all the scrolling lmao.

I just thought it was funny because some sources say that the last supper was a Passover meal, so that irony as well. I like how his stand-up evolves. Even if that mention of joe DiMaggio bieng with marylin Munroe makes me a little uncomfy.
john mulaney talking about how much he loves his wife and roasting other male comedians that just talk shit on their wives is why The Gays like him so much because he’s what Straight Culture should be

The piece of art I chose for our costume party is “Liz” by Andy Warhol. Liz is a rendering of the infamous Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth Taylor is one of the most iconic names in all of Hollywood. I chose this piece because I am a huge fan of Andy Warhol’s art aesthetic.Warhol was born of Slovakian decent to two parent who were also artists. He was classically trained and the Carnegie Institute for Technology. Warhol loved New York and spent most of his life living there. Andy Warhol helped to shape the New York art scene, and New York helped to shape his art. Andy Warhol is an iconic name in several forms of art, having seen major successes in many medias, including film, fashion painting and more. Andy was known to socialize with people of all walks of life, intellectuals, drag queens, play writes and celebrities. He was a man ahead of his time socially, living as an openly gay man before the gay rights movement. It is perhaps facts like these that contributed to people seeing Warhol as a controversial artist in his time. Andy Warhol’s work is bright, colourful, political, Avant grade and tells a story. Warhol was known for commercial art, painting mass produced items like the Campbell’s soup can over and over. He later painted legendary celebrities like Marylin Munroe in the same style. It was rendering Munroe after her suicide that ignited an obsession with both fame and beauty and death and mortality. This is highlighted very well in Liz. Warhol painted Elizabeth in 1963. While this was the peak of her career and she looks beautiful, she was actually severally ill with pneumonia.
