Idk it just annoys me as someone who was heavily affected by a mass shooting and had to suffer through a media parade of “he was just a poor bullied mentally ill kid who sat alone at lunch 😢” nonstop right after not knowing if I’ll ever see my friends again, only for THIS to be the fucking case where all of a sudden everyone grows a conscious and decides we���re not allowed to sympathize with the killer, like fuck right off, I spent the latter half of high school wondering if I was going to be next, there are still days where I can barely stand to be out in public places, I don’t actually give a shit that billionaire CEOs with their private security teams are crying about how scary it is and they don’t know if they’re going to be next and how we should all feel so so bad for them, that same sympathy was never extended to me or my loved ones so why should I give it to them?

After the war and all that, fishlegs really starts to get into his inner bard. He starts writing and preforming songs which is great you know. Anyway to show support camicazi and hiccup both decide to learn how to play an instrument that can accompany fishlegs’s songs. They have a bet on who can do it better and camicazi works so hard she becomes a total pro and now, playing the viola is just her thing.

oh and little thing to note, camicazi shaved some of her hair in order to better show off the dragon mark and fishlegs keeps his hair that would cover it clipped to the side.

but first off HOSPITAL HELPER DAMIAN 🥺

PKJ makes direct reference to his Gotham City Villains Anniversary Giant Ra’s al Ghul story in the first issue of this run, and it’s worth a read especially after this issue! it’s now implied that Bashar may have connections with Ra’s, but we’re not exactly sure to what extent - does he just respect Ra’s and follows his ideals, or is he just a chill dude? Damian has really opened up to him so please just be a chill dude don’t hurt his trust…orz

running with the idea that Bashar (with Ra’s influence) has a bigger role surrounding Memento:

Memento was the one to spark the mob war between Tiger Shark and Penguin at the end of #15. this could imply that the mob war was started to literally keep the hospitals in business, particularly with the recent rebirth of Sacred Heart.

other than this, Memento’s such a mystery! some glaring hints for us so far: as told by the stray Mementist, Crane, and Memento himself, he’s crossed the sea/ocean to punish Bruce. Gravedigger’s Poppy (v cool idea btw) being at play, which seemed to reveal the “Vestige” of the tragic event at the location. and the Jack flashbacks, especially that showdown with Memento and Blye! the anticipation for this reveal is so hype 😭

ok so Jason lol. according to an interview, PKJ wanted to add him at some point:

not sure how much changed along the writing process or if PKJ always intended for Jason to show in this arc, but he’s somewhat relevant to Damian’s dilemma
