played through the black mesa blue shift mod, up through the xen chapter since that's all they've released so far. the mod aims to remake the entirety of blue shift in the style of black mesa, and boy howdy does it deliver on that, for better and for worse.
they actually establish a couple supporting characters, more security guards and scientists, which is nice. in the original game it was basically just dr rosenberg, so more named characters is a good change imo. feels like you're actually rallying people together to fight your way out of black mesa.
a weird thing this mod does is take away player control sometimes. i can understand it for specific sequences, like when the elevator crashes at the beginning or when you first teleport into xen, but it also does it for some mundane things too, like inserting a keycard into a switch. why? half-life's whole thing is letting the player be in control the whole time.
the first few chapters are well paced, but it starts feeling like its padding a bit when you go off to find dr rosenberg. you have to do this whole song and dance moving a train back and forth and turning it around properly on turntables to bust him out. they could have cut out some of the tedium there a little.
my problems really start when it comes to the xen chapter. the original blue shift xen chapter lasts for roughly 30-40 minutes for a first time player, though someone like me was able to speed through it in under 15. with the black mesa mod, they have stretched out the runtime of this chapter to 3 hours.
it starts off pretty strong, you're making your way through xen, taking in the sights and finding all the stuff the previous science teams have left behind. about 90 minutes in i was wondering when i'm gonna get to the focal point relay thing, the whole reason calhoun goes to xen in the first place.
but instead you keep detouring through black mesa outposts and alien factory things and it just gets so long in the tooth. it'd be one thing if you get to one of these places and you're there for 5-10 minutes at most, but you typically spend over 20, sometimes even 30 minutes at these places.
there's one bit where you inexplicably decide to jump on the back of one of the giant flying manta rays and it flies around for like 15 minutes like an autoscroller section until it gets shot down by alien railguns, and then you spend 30 minutes making your way over to and destroying the railguns. and the whole time i'm just like... when are we getting to the focal point thing.
so finally you get to the focal point relay and turn it on but it gets jammed by a signal so you spend another 40 minutes blazing through ANOTHER alien factory so you can blow it up and you make your way back to the focal point thing and the portal's open but alien controllers keep telekinetically grabbing you and yanking you away from it... and it's just so exhausting. i got burned out.
not to mention the weirdness with how they handle vortigaunts. so in black mesa they do this whole thing in xen to show that the vorts are slaves and don't actually want to fight you, but calhoun never encounters any of that stuff. for the first 2/3rds of xen in this mod, vortigaunts are constantly trying to kill you non-stop. then all of a sudden they don't attack you anymore. why? because i, the player know they're not really bad? why would calhoun know that? it doesn't really make sense to me.
xen is cool. i like xen. if you told me "we're adding more xen to blue shift" i'd be like alright that's cool. but 6-8 times more? that's way too much. xen in blue shift was never meant to be a long trip. calhoun was supposed to get in, find the focal point relay, align it, and leave, not go on a grand alien gallivanting adventure. that's for gordon to do.

you love simon. truly. playing games with him in your free time was your favorite pastime, especially when you knew he was getting deployed and wouldn’t have the chance to join you for an extended leave. there was only one tiny issue.
the man is competitive. no matter the game, no matter if you were a team or against one another, he’s slipping you teasing comments that you’re 90% aren’t fully teasing and actually hold a bit of honesty.
some of the games he plays with you weren’t supposed to be competitive. some are even simple customization games that you had to beg him to play with you so you could create each other’s characters. now that he is playing them, you have moments of restraint to not shove his head into the screen.
Tumblr media
“your colors don’t match the theme, lovie.”
“shut up, simon.”
“yes ma’am.”
Tumblr media
“i think you need to spend more time in an aim training.”
“are you saying my aim is bad, simon?”
“no, ma’am.”
Tumblr media
“how many times are you going to miss the damn jump?”
“i’ll do it again if you don’t shut up, simon.”
“you’re doing amazing, lovie, keep it up.”
Tumblr media
it was utterly infuriating. but when the times came for his long deployments and the house was quiet, no snarky quips being thrown from beside you on the couch, you longed for it.
to hear him trash your aim, or tease you for not being as good as him — it may seem like he’s mean to you from an outsider’s perspective, but to you, it’s his love language, and you desperately miss it.
so, you’ll take whatever tease he throws. you know it’s his way of saying ‘i love you’, even if you want to rage quit every time.

Baby Fever
Leah Williamson x reader
Tumblr media
Summary: you'd always heard your friends talk about how much they wanted kids but had never felt the same until now
You'd never thought much about having kids, it just had never been one of your big dreams in life.
When all your friends at kinder would dress up as mum's holding toy babies on free dress days when the theme was dress up as what you want to be in the future days, you would always come dressed in an oversized football jersey with a ball constantly at your feet.
Or whilst people would play mums and dads and you'd instead run off and kick a ball around on your own for the whole lunch.
You didn't not want to be a mum, you just would've preferred to focus on your football career for now, you were still young.
But all this changed whilst you were walking around after the game against Leicester with Katie.
The two of you had your sights set on the area not to far away where most of the other girls were standing.
You spot Leah holding a little boy in her arms whilst talking with Beth and Lotte. When you're closer to the group you speak; 'who's this little one?'
Leah beamed at your sudden appearance next to her, 'go on and tell her your name sweets.' your girlfriend urges the small boy in her arms, and you grin seeing how Leah's interacting with the small kid.
'Henry.' The little boy said in a soft voice, his British accent breaking through, as he shyly buried his head into Leah's neck.
'It's nice to meet you Henry,' You smile slightly lowering yourself so you were at a closer height to the blonde boy
'Are you Leah's friend?'
'She's my girlfriend,' Leah's corrects 'I've told you about her before,'
Henry nodded , then slid down Leah’s body and scampered over to a man calling his name. You watched with a smile as he ran off, his little feet pattering on the ground. Leaning your head on Leah’s shoulder, you said, “He’s absolutely adorable. Is he your nephew?”
Leah’s face softened as she watched Henry. “No, he’s my cousin’s kid,” she explained. “But I do love spending time with him.”
You smiled at Leah, feeling a warmth in your chest. 'You played great today baby.'
Leah only hummed in response, moving her body so her head was leaning up against your chest 'yeah but I missed you.'
'I haven't seen you for 10 minutes, we just played a full 90 minutes of football together babe.' you chuckle.
'That's ten minutes too long.' she whined, squeezing you tight and only letting go when Henry shouted her name and waved something above his head to show the English defender. 'He's the sweetest.'
You silently agree, ever since you'd seen Leah with Henry your head had been clouded with thoughts of your future and what it would look like with children of your own running around your house. 'You're going to be a really good mum one day.'
'to our kids?' she quirked an eyebrow a cheeky smirk breaking out on her face.
'yeah, to our kids.' your smile grew as you saw the huge grin that spread across your girlfriends dace as soon as you confirmed it.
'reckon we should get started soon?' She leaned closer, if that was even possible, to whisper. 'I want enough to make a full football team.'
you laughed and teasingly pushed her away. 'you'll be the one pushing them out if you want that.'
she quickly grabbed you in her arms again, pulling you closer just like how she always wanted it to be. You'd always been very affectionate together and even though you'd tell her to tone down the pda in front of all the 60,000 fans, she just always had to be close to you somehow. 'I can't wait for our future together.'
'Yeah? when are you going to propose to me then?' you grinned cheekily.
'That's a secret! don't you give me those eyes.'

Barbara Gordon's Coding & Computer Cram School is a popular YouTube series. Tucker Foley is a star student.
Barbara Gordon's Cram School posts free online courses for both coding and computer engineering. Think Crash Course in terms of entertainment, but college lecture in terms of depth. Hundreds of thousands of viewers flock to it— students who missed a class, people looking to add new skills to a resume, even simple hobbyists. It’s a project Barbara’s proud of.
Sometimes, when she wants to relax, she’ll even hop in the comments and spend an afternoon troubleshooting a viewer’s project with them.
User “Fryer-Tuck” has especially interesting ones. Barbara finds herself seeking out his comments, checking in on whatever this crazy kid is making next. An app for collecting GPS pings and assembling them on a map in real-time, an algorithm that connects geographic points to predict something’s movement taking a hundred other variables into account, simplified versions of incredibly complex homemade programs so they can run on incredibly limited CPU’s.
(Barbara wants to buy the kid a PC. It seems he’s got natural talent, but he keeps making reference to a PDA. Talk about 90’s! This guy’s hardware probably predates his birth.)
She chats with him more and more, switching to less public PM threads, and eventually, he opens up. His latest project, though, is not something Barbara has personal experience with.
FT: so if you found, hypothetically, a mysterious glowing substance that affects tech in weird and wacky ways that could totally have potential but might be vaguely sentient/otherworldly…. what would you do and how would you experiment with it. safely, of course. and hypothetically
BG: I’d make sure all my tests were in disposable devices and quarantined programs to keep it from infecting my important stuff. Dare I ask… how weird and wacky is it?
FT: uhhh. theoretically, a person composed of this substance once used it to enter a video game. like physical body, into the computer, onto the screen? moving around and talking and fighting enemies within the game?
FT: its been experimented with before, but not on any tech with a brain. just basic shields and blasters and stuff, its an energy source. also was put in a car once
FT: i wanna see how it affects software, yk? bc i already know it can. mess around and see how far i can push it
BG: […]
FT: … barbara?
BG: Sorry, thinking. Would you mind sharing more details? You said “blasters?”
Honestly. Kid genius with access to some truly wacky materials and even wackier weapons, she needs to start a file on him before he full sends to either hero or villain.
[OR: Tucker is a self-taught hacker, but if he were to credit a teacher, he'd name Barbara Gordon's Coding & Computer Cram School! He's even caught the attention of Dr. Gordon herself. She's full of sage advice, and with how she preaches the value of a good VPN, he's sure she's not pro-government. Maybe she'll help him as he studies the many applications of ecto-tech!]

questions/ideas here! - rules here my wattpad archive is here my AO3 archive is here If you enjoyed my work: Ko-fi.com/freakinghollandmasterlist masterlist
Tumblr media
Dick Grayson - quality time and acts of service
Loves going out on fancy dates, but his preferred dates are the stay-in ones. It’s more convenient and less energy-consuming but can be just as fun as being out and about.
He likes to order food, not because you both are too lazy to prepare it, but because it takes time. Sometimes it’s junk food, sometimes it’s proper meals from your favourite restaurant.
Most likely to bring home flowers just cause. Doesn’t matter if he’s running late from work, if he’s tired, absolute definition of if he wanted to he would!!!
Makes sure to buy plenty of snacks and drinks prior to the date night. Doesn’t spare money on food, dude’s got a proper appetite.
Usually wants to watch a movie, 90% of the time it just plays the role of a background noise (sometimes sleep just happens to take over entirely).
Loves catching up with you, likes to gossip as long as it’s not too derogatory.
Likes playing video games like it takes two, overcooked, stardew valley. Will watch youtube videos on games as well as streamers on twitch.
If the apartment is clean enough and you’re not expecting visitors he will propose doing a blanket tent. If your apartment could use cleaning then it’s a productive date aka cleaning night with music (beware he’ll deffo do a cartwheel in the living room).
Tumblr media
Jason Todd - quality time and gifting
Jason loves going out on fancy dates. He likes the anticipation and more or less meticulous preparations for such dates. Genuinely enjoys watching you get ready and just chatting about everything and anything. Demands mirror pics before leaving.
It doesn’t matter what kind of entertainment you choose, he is willing to spend any money when it comes to having quality time together (not that other guys wouldn’t, it’s just Jason puts the most pressure on it). Cinema? Theatre? Going to a formal ball? Just tell him what you want to do (if you don’t he’ll make you talk).
If the date doesn’t extend to later-ish night time, he proposes the idea of making shopping stops along the way back home. His favorite stop Is definitely a book store (I know I know cliché but it’s fun to go to book stores isn’t it? Come on we’re all readers here! Doesn’t complain about going to drugstores or second-hands.
He has a favourite bakery with diabetic-friendly desserts (I hc Jay as a diabetic as I’ve mentioned here and here!). If you end up having a date at your own place he will bake something offbeat.
If you don’t feel like going out he will gladly snuggle with you and read a book. He just wants to be in the same room as you.
Have you seen that tiktok trend of eye-colored bracelets? Will buy materials for that and make them on a lazy night.
Tumblr media
Tim Drake - quality time and physical touch
I feel like Tim is very much a fifty-fifty guy date types wise, totally depends on your energy levels. That aside he gives off major out-of-town weekend getaway type of vibes. 2 days off? Why not visit Paris?
He feels mentally supported by you and thus tends to plan little trips every couple of weeks to show his support. Sometimes it’s sightseeing in London for 3 days and sometimes it’s a trip to a hotel with a spa visit for an hour or two.
He realises how caught up and locked in with work he can be at times and feels guilty. When you go somewhere his devices are off (not entirely - for safety reasons).
Wants to hold hands every-freaking-where. If you’re not holding hands his palm is either on your thigh when sitting or draped over your shoulder. I don’t think you understand, he’s like a flypaper - I mean it!
If you end up having a date at home he would want to do some work here and there. Would need proper convincing to shove work aside – but it’s not impossible. It’s hard to resist snuggles with your partner when you’re hella tired.
Will whip out a board game for two. If it’s not strictly a date night will host a game night with the rest of the fam at your place.

REMEMBER: english is not my first language
fluff and dad!mason word count: 1.9k
✦‎۟    ࣭   ⊹
“Have you ever thought about when we will have kids?” Mason asked when you two were driving home after a game.
“What?”
“I mean, don’t you think it’s the perfect time?”
Mason had been talking about kids for a while now and you realized that his obsession with the idea made you want kids too. You started to notice how he spent more time with the kids than with the adults at celebrations, the kids in the family had him as their favorite person and he played with any child he met on the street.
You know he's going to be an amazing dad.
“Y/N, you know I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I think it’s the perfect time ‘cause we’re young and we can sit with our baby everyday, running around, travel. I mean, it’s time.”
“There’s nothing I can do to change your mind, uh?”
“I’m sorry but no.”
Tonight, after the game, as you waited for Mason next to Anouska, you watched her and Luke's children run over to Mason, who opened his arms for the kids to cuddle with. Luke, who was walking next to Mason, also smiled at the scene when he saw his friend so happy with them.
“How can he be so passionate about children?” Anouska asked you and you smiled at her.
“Yeah, he’s so natural with kids.”
“I don’t know why you’re not pregnant yet.” She said and started walking towards her husband and Mason, leaving you behind.
But the thing is: you think you are pregnant but are too scared to take a pregnancy test. For a few days now you've been feeling tired, very sleepy and the smell of Mason's perfume has started to bother you. But you love his perfume and that's why he uses it every day.
And of course, you still haven't told Mason yet, even though you know he'll love it if you're pregnant.
He spends the rest of the way home talking random things about the game, happy to have played 90 minutes and also happy about the victory.
As soon as you arrived home, Ace greeted the two of you, happy to no longer be home alone. You took off your sneakers and lay down on the living room couch while Mason went to the kitchen. Ace climbed onto the couch and came to you, laying his head on your stomach, something he's never done.
You froze.
Is there any chance…? Maybe it’s something you never noticed, but… in your stomach? Ace looked at you with those beautiful eyes and you melted for the dog, petting his head.
“Do you think there's a baby here?” Ace just let out a slight groan and closed his eyes, then Mason came back from the kitchen with two bottles of water, and handed you one. Mason sat on the couch next to you and Ace stared at him, accepting his owner's affection.
“Hey buddy, what did you do while you were alone?” The dog leans his head against Mason's hand, closing his eyes once again.
But something happened that had never happened before.
Mason leaned in to give you a kiss, running one hand over your shoulders and the other he ran over your belly to your waist, but when Ace saw Mason's hand on your stomach, he stood up and started barking in Mason's direction.
“Ace, what’s wrong?” Mason asked, and the dog was still barking and growling at him. As soon as Mason let go of you to see what was wrong with Ace, he stopped barking. “Do you think he is in any pain?”
You didn't want to tell Mason without being sure, but Ace's reaction made you believe you were pregnant. Maybe he was smelling it, dogs do that, don't they?
“Mase, maybe- let me try.” You grabbed Mason's hand and pulled him towards you, making him wrap his hand around your waist once again, then Ace started barking.
“Dude, are you jealous of her?” Ace growled at Mason, but when you ran your hand through his fur, he calmed down. “I can’t believe it. Ace, do you know that I wanted a dog and not her? Why is she your favorite?
“Mase, I don’t think he’s jealous.” You spoke and stood up while Mason continued to sit on the couch. Ace laid down where you were sitting. “I think he's being protective.”
“What? I would never hurt you.”
“No, I know…” You took a deep breath. “I think I’m pregnant.”
Mason stood frozen as he absorbed the information. You looked at him and could clearly see his eyes filling with tears.
“You’re kidding.” Mason spoke with a trembling voice and you wanted to cry too, knowing that it's his dream to be a father but maybe you're not even pregnant.
“I’m not sure, actually, but there is something different happening in my body and I know that for sure.” Mason stood up and Ace came to attention once again.
“Babe, I'm so happy but I don't want to celebrate until we know for sure.” He wipes away a tear and you smile, walking over to him and hugging him.
“I know this is your dream, sweetheart, but even if I’m not, we should start trying for a baby.” Mason squeezes you against him, but this time Ace just gets off the couch and walks to his own bed in the corner of the room.
“I'm going to the pharmacy right now.” Mason said to you and took his keys and wallet. “You come with me?”
“I'll wait here, I'm nervous.” Mason came back and gave you a kiss, then he ran to the door.
15 minutes later Mason was back with numerous pregnancy tests. Your hands were shaking and you could see he was nervous too, but as always, Mason was trying to reassure you, so he was trying not to show it.
“Read the instructions for me.” You asked as the two of you entered the bedroom bathroom. Ace went upstairs with you but laid down on the floor as he looked at you and Mason. It was as if he wanted to participate too.
Mason read all the information and refused to leave the bathroom while you were taking the tests, and even though you were embarrassed, you let him stay there.
“We have to wait 5 minutes.” You walked over to Mason, who was sitting on the edge of the bathtub, and sat on his leg. “What if it is negative?”
“So we're going to make a baby in the next twenty minutes.”
“Twenty minutes? Is this what you can handle?”
“What? I'm tired, I ran for 90 minutes.” Mason laughed, knowing you were messing with him.
“You better get better if you want to get me pregnant.”
You continued talking, but time passed slowly. When the timer reached the 5 minutes you programmed, you and Mason looked at each other, not knowing what to do.
“Okay, I'll see the result.” Mason said and you both got up, you almost bit your nails out of nervousness. Mason walked to the sink and looked at the three tests you did, without saying anything.
“Babe, oh…” He said and you ran to him. “Oh my God, you are very pregnant.”
You looked at the three tests and saw the two lines in all of them. You gasped and looked at Mason, who had tears streaming down his face and a huge smile on his lips.
“Mase…”
You spent a few minutes hugging each other and even Ace joined in while the two of you were kneeling on the floor.
“We’re having a baby.” He filled your face with kisses. “We’re having a baby.”
“We’re having a baby, I can’t believe it.” You wiped your own tears and heard Ace whimper next to you.
Mason approached the dog and petted him.
“You're going to take care of her, aren't you, buddy?” Ace looked at Mason as if he agreed and you smiled.
✦‎۟    ࣭   ⊹
The pregnancy flew by, you released the news after a few months on Instagram, as Mason wanted to tell everyone that he was going to be a dad. You told your family two months after finding out you were pregnant, because you wanted to make sure everything was okay before telling anyone else.
Summer was excited, but she was also jealous knowing that her favorite uncle was having a baby. Mila still didn't quite understand, so you and Mason needed to reassure Summer that she was still his favorite. Stacey, on the other side of the world, also celebrated when you told her via video call.
Mason couldn't stop telling everyone that your little girl would be home with you soon.
The birth was due at the end of December or beginning of January, so everyone came to Manchester for Christmas and New Year’s eve, as you couldn't travel many hours to London. Your family and his came and you thanked Mason for the big house he bought.
The end of the year festivities had passed and she still hadn't arrived.
Mason kindly asked his family not to stay until his birthday so you two could prepare for the baby's arrival. But you asked your mom and Debbie to stay to help you the first few days until you felt safe enough to be alone with her while Mason was at training or traveling.
On January 9th, you were already fed up.
Your belly was huge, your back hurt, you walked slowly and could barely sleep. Mason tried to help you most of the time, stayed awake with you or tried to ease your pain. He trained early in the morning and in the afternoon he was at home with you, you went for a walk with your mother and mother-in-law for a bit but you soon came back as it was very cold outside.
Mason made dinner and you ate together, then the two of you went to watch while your mom and Debbie were in the kitchen talking.
You didn't want to sleep before wishing Mason a happy birthday, but you were sleepy and there were still a few hours until midnight.
But things got weird when you felt discomfort in your stomach, then another, and another.
“Mason, I think it’s time.” Mason jumped off the couch and started running, screaming around the house as he packed things for you.
The next few hours were painful, you cried, screamed, but Mason never left your side.
Around 2 am, she was born.
“She’s perfect.” You cried as you held her for the first time. Mason was sobbing next to you, you had never seen him cry like that and you were sure that little baby girl would have him in the palm of her hands.
“You were so strong, so brave, Y/N. Thank you so much.” He kissed your forehead, and ran his index finger across the cheek of the baby who was looking at you attentively.
“Happy birthday, Mason.” You can finally wish after hours of pain. “I love you.”
“Thank you, babe.” He said. “That was the best birthday present I could have.”
“You said you would choose her name.”
“Yes, but we can choose another one if you don't like it.”
“What name do you want?”
“Annie. Annie Katherin Mount.”
“It’s perfect, Mason.”

world’s best teacher
lewis hamilton x fem! Reader x students
A/N: i couldn’t stop thinking about this so i had to do it😭(not proofread)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
10 years ago, you found out you were pregnant. You were buzzing, but your happiness unfortunately didn’t last long as you discovered you had a miscarriage. Your life was miserable, but thank God, Lewis was with you through your ups and downs. After 12 years of marriage, you’re still together, stronger than ever.
After 3 years of your miscarriage, you decided to go back to work as a school teacher. After you got pregnant with twins in 2017, it lightened up your life.
You can’t say being a teacher is an easy thing, if you’re being honest, but you love your students to the moon and back. You even treat them as your kids.
Of course, they know that their teacher is married to one of the best F1 drivers in history, if not the best, and they love it. They don’t go a day without mentioning how you are their favorite.
They even met your kids multiple times before, during school events where you brought them with you.
“Good morning, everyone,” you say as you enter the classroom.
“Good morning, Ms.,” they say back.
You greet them as you wait for the others to enter the class.
“So, I want to discuss something with you guys,” you’ve said.
“As we all know, last exam, you guys really disappointed me with the results,” you continued.
“Hmm,” they hummed.
“And we all know the next exam is in one month, so I want you to prepare as best as you can. And I have a surprise for you: if you score above 90, you can pick any reward you want. It could be anything, for example, a concert ticket of your favorite artist, a paddock pass that comes with meeting the drivers, etc. Which means you’re going with me, or a football game ticket to watch your favorite team.”
Your students buzz with excitement.
“Really, miss?”
The room erupts with chatter, feeling their energy and determination.
A month later, you’ve already graded the exams. You stand in front of the class with a stack of papers.
“I’m really proud of all of you,” you begin. “You’ve worked really hard, and you guys did not disappoint this time, so let’s see the results.”
“First, Livvy, you’ve got a 92. What would you like as your reward?”
Livvy beams. “I want to go to a Raye concert.”
“Done,” you replied, making a note. “Jason, you’ve got a 95. What about you?”
Jason grins. “I want the paddock pass.”
“Excellent choice,” you wink at him. You always knew he was a die-hard F1 fan.
You continued down the list. “Olivia, 89, so close but still great job.”
Olivia nods, smiling. “Thank you, miss.”
“Finally, Nick, 91. What’s your pick?”
Nick thinks for a moment. “I think I’d pick the football match.”
“Alright,” you agree. “We’ll make it happen.”
After everyone has chosen their rewards, you gather them together.
“I want you all to know how proud I am of each one of you. You’ve worked incredibly hard, and you deserve these rewards. Remember, this is just the beginning. Keep striving for excellence, and you’ll achieve great things.”
After saying goodbye to your students, you head home, still feeling excited. When you walk in, you see Lewis, and you can't wait to tell him about your day.
You give him a big hug and say, "Lewis, today was amazing!"
Lewis smiles and asks, "What happened?"
You tell him all about it, from the rewards you gave to the happy faces of your students. Lewis listens carefully, proud of you the whole time.
"Wow, that's awesome!" Lewis says, giving you a kiss on the forehead. "I'm really proud of you."
You feel warm inside, knowing he's there for you. You spend the evening talking and enjoying each other's company. As you go to bed, you feel grateful for your life together with Lewis and the twins.

STREAMER PJSK BOYS HEADCANNONS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
GAME ON!
Akito, Toya, Tsukasa, Rui as streamers
-> fluff -> tags: @stellas-starry-stories13, @akitosheart, @sillykana-13
please do not repost any of my work without my permission, thank you for reading.
Tumblr media
-> Akito Shinonome
-Leans towards the PVP or action genre when it comes to games. Whether that's something as simple as Minecraft or an actual PVP game like Valorant, he usually doesn't mind playing those or anything in between.
-Usually chill streams and tries to keep his cool when he gets tilted but sometimes it's ineffective. He doesn't really have a preference between single and multi-player and probably plays with Toya a lot.
-Not a big money spender in general. He'll spend a little bit if needed but usually he stays ftp in most cases. Unless it's something he really wants then he might spend a little bit.
-> Toya Aoyagi
-Calm and chill streams 90% of the time. Usually he'll play some sort of indie game such as Stardew Valley or maybe Omori. He's a very casual player.
-Usually won't play multiplayer much and prefers single player. His fans aren't usually too crazy and I see him as a smaller streamer anyways.
-Very 'ftp" mindset. If he can achieve something just by playing the game, he won't buy anything. Only buys if it's an absolute necessity but usually stays ftp in any game, not just gacha games.
-> Tsukasa Tenma
-Super loud and popular streamer. His fans would convince him to play unsuspecting horror games and convince him that they're not horror related at all...
-Usually plays stuff that's on the popular side or stuff that Saki gets him into. He's not one to turn away a game just because it seems boring. He'll try and play absolutely anything anyone tells him to.
-Very loose streaming schedule that changes every week... He never has a definite schedule so it's a little hard to know when he'll stream but usually he posts something about it before he does.
-> Rui Kamishiro
-Puzzle games.. He'll always stream puzzle games. He probably also thinks it's entertaining to push the limits on games he plays and see how many bugs he can find in them.
-Has a set but not frequent streaming schedule. He streams less but he always streams for a long time since he usually is playing a puzzle game which could take hours.
-Not against playing horror puzzle games. If it's something he thinks might be entertaining, he'll give it a shot. Horror isn't something he'd usually go for but if it sounds fun, he'll try.

Second place
Summary: Your relationship with Shauna is reaching a boiling point after months of feeling neglected. Will your anniversary dinner fix everything or is it time to move on?
You were Shauna Shipman’s girlfriend—well, you were supposed to be, but lately, you have felt more like her side piece.
When you first started dating she made it very clear that if Jackie needed her for anything she would be by her side no questions asked. And at first, you were fine with that.
You thought it was cute that your girlfriend was such a loyal friend so you told her it wasn’t a problem.
Oh, what a love-struck idiot you were.
At first, your relationship was great. You were like a couple pulled straight out of a 90’s movie. You’d wear her jersey to her games, your friends would roll their eyes at how sappy the two of you were, and old couples would see you walking down the street and give each other a knowing look remembering when they were your age.
Everything was absolutely perfect.
Until it wasn’t.
You didn’t truly understand the position you put yourself in until about 10 months into your relationship.
Suddenly Jackie was having problems with her boyfriend Jeff, which meant that your weekly date nights became the stuff of history, and the only time you got to see your girlfriend was briefly at school before she was whisked away to soccer practice, or class, or Jackie.
And even when you did get to see her all she’d talk about was how hard Jeff was being on Jackie.
“He should be glad Jackie even gave him a chance, she could do so much better.”
She sighed leaning against your car.
“Yep”
You mumbled back only half listening to her while grabbing something from your trunk.
“I mean she’s pretty, popular, and the captain of the women’s soccer team.”
“Mhmm”
Suddenly your door slams shut, you look up and see she’s giving you an annoyed look.
“Are you even listening?”
You sigh and nod, “Sorry Shaun but all we’ve talked about for the last two months is Jackie’s love life.”
Shauna rolls her eyes but reaches for your hand, “Sorry baby but I get so upset with how Jeff treats Jackie.”
“I get that but you’ve been so busy with her and soccer I only get to see you for like fifteen minutes in the morning and all you talk about is Jackie.”
You mumble looking down at your intertwined hands trying not to fidget.
“I just want to spend some more time with you.”
You whisper anxiously.
Shauna doesn’t say anything for a minute and you freak out, you open your mouth to make up some excuse but she cuts you off with a kiss.
“Look our one year is coming up on Saturday, what if we go to that burger place you’ve been wanting to try then we catch a movie?”
She whispers kissing the back of your hand while looking at you with her big puppy dog eyes that always make you melt.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah”
“No Jackie?”
“Nope.”
You nod and kiss her cheek, “Can’t wait.”
Saturday comes, and you arrive at the restaurant. Seeing that Shauna isn’t there yet, you sit down in a booth and wait.
After 10 minutes you start to wonder what’s holding her up.
After 15 you get worried and send her a text ‘Hey I got us a booth, you almost here?’
After 20 minutes and the waitress refilling your water twice you finally get a text back.
‘Hey baby sorry to do this so last minute but Jackie and Jeff just broke up and she needs me. Hope you understand.’
You stare at your phone for a while, unsure what to text back. You don’t know how long you were staring but the waitress circles back snapping you out of your trance.
“Hey, honey are you ready to order yet?”
She whispers kindly while glancing down at your phone, you tilt it down trying to hide the screen.
You want to answer but you’re afraid you’ll start sobbing the second you open your mouth.
“I-”
“I’m so sorry babe!”
Suddenly Lottie slides into the booth next to you.
“Practice ran late and then my phone died and I couldn't call an Uber to get here so I walked.”
She rambles on and on wrapping an arm around your waist.
You’re too stunned to speak but the waitress laughs and hands Lottie a menu.
“Oh thank goodness I thought the poor thing had been stood up.”
She says smiling at the two of you.
“No ma’am,”
Says Lottie smiling back at the older woman.
“Just ran a little late.”
The waitress walks away leaving the two of you alone in the booth.
“Lottie? What are you doing here?”
You ask watching her look over the menu carefully.
You don’t know much about Lottie. You’ve talked a few times while you waited for Shauna to get out of the locker room, and one time, she asked you for a pen in your English class and never gave it back.
“Well I came to get something to go but then I saw you here and heard the staff whispering that you’ve been here for like a half hour.”
You mumble hiding your face in your hands.
You look over by the entrance and see a group of waitresses whispering and looking at you. When they notice you’re looking, they all split up, and you watch one of them take plates away from a table that is clearly still eating as she tries to look busy.
“God, can this day get any worse?”
“So why are you here by yourself? Where’s Shauna Isn’t today your anniversary?”
You peek at her from behind your hands.
“You know when our anniversary is?”
She nods chuckling with a small smirk.
“Kinda hard to forget the day Shauna got so annoying. So where is she?”
You take your hands away from your face and sigh trying to keep your voice from cracking.
“She’s with Jackie…I guess she and Jeff broke up and Shauna wanted to stay with her.”
Lottie puts the menu down looking at you in shock.
“You’re fucking with me.”
The waitress comes back and takes your orders. Lottie orders a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and you get a cheeseburger with fries.
As the waitress walks away again Lottie turns back to you.
“And she told you all this last minute?”
You nod your head looking down at your water cup.
“Yeah, she texted me like 30 seconds before you showed up.”
The waitress comes back with your food and Lottie thanks her handing her a hundred-dollar bill.
“That’s enough right? And you can keep the rest as a tip for keeping my girlfriend here company while I was running late.”
The waitress nods thanking Lottie and walks away probably to brag about her tip.
“You usually don’t pay until you’re done eating ya’ know?”
You mumble trying not to blush, how can she call you her girlfriend so easily and just keep going like nothing happened?
“And what’s with the whole girlfriend comment?”
Lottie eats some of her fries with a grin.
“Well I figured you wouldn’t want them circling back with the check and I called you babe when I first got here so I thought I’d keep playing along.”
The two of you finish your food just talking and having a pretty good time overall, which is shocking given how the day started.
When the two of you get up to leave you grab onto the sleeve of Lottie’s sweater.
“Hey, I um…I got tickets to Beatlejuice Beatlejuice for me and Shauna. Do you wanna….”
Lottie smiles at you, not like her usual confident grin or her haughty little smirk but an actual smile. You let go of her sleeve and look down trying to get the butterflies in your stomach under control.
“Yeah sure lets go.”

If my last thought of my was too dark… this is nicer I promise 🙏.
Leona with younger sibling who’s treated similar to him. They also are told the same things… how they should be like the first born. But Leona noticed it. So he decided they should have someone to always be there. For anything they did he congratulated them. So you got 90 out of 100? That’s still great, good job kid. You want to try *insert new interest/hobby*? Go for it! If they need someone to talk to… he may not be the best at comforting but he’ll listen. Because of that he was there number 1, just like they were his and that’s all that mattered.
~💜~
Of course my darling 💜 anon! It's so rare that I get nice sibling relationship requests. I love this thank you for requesting it <3
Request rules and Masterlists
Leona as a sibling (Supportive relationship)
most would think that being a part of the Kingscholar family meant you got the best of everything
while that was partly true, it was also very wrong
when it came to most things, Falena got the best while you and Leona got whatever was left
since Leona was older than you, he always got first pick on whatever was left
but most times he didn't care and just let you have it or split it between the two of you
that was just the way things were
the oldest always got the most attention and the most love
Leona tried to avoid Falena as much as he could, so when you would spend time with the oldest, it would just be you two
Falena always tried to make sure the two of you had fun
he would always want to play together or show you a new game he learned about
he was teaching you about a game involving a bunch of chalk squares on the ground
basically you have to get through the squares, sometimes hopping on one foot, without falling
Falena gave you a nice and flawless demonstration before giving you your turn
the first few squares were fine
but then you got to two single squares in a row
once you reached the second square, you lost your balance and fell down
your knees roughly scraped against the ground and would surely start bleeding in a few moments
from behind you, you could hear some of the servants quietly snickering
they were whispering to each other about how clumsy you were compared to how perfectly Falena did it
Falena came running over to you to check on you, and you didn't want to play anymore
that was only the first time you noticed it happen
you started to notice it more after that
while walking through the halls you would hear servants comparing you and Leona to Falena
saying you guys weren't as smart or strong and you guys didn't carry the insanely friendly and cheerful energy
they would talk a lot about how they wished you were like Falena
because that would make you easier to deal with
and when it came to anything involving Falena, they would cheer him on, and only him
you understood why Leona avoided hanging out with Falena
of course, it wasn't Falena's fault he was born first
but that didn't stop the jealous feeling that built up inside you
one time, you were walking with Leona when you heard them talking about you again
you were trying not to react but you couldn't stop the frown
and when Leona turned to look at you, you avoided his gaze
he must've heard it too
one of his ears twitched as they continued talking
then Leona grabbed your arm and started dragging you away
little did you know, Leona had made a decision in his mind
you two were being treated the same, and no one was there to support either of you
so, he would be your support
if no one else did, then he would
Leona started to hang out with you more and play games with you like Falena did
but this time, things were better
whenever the servants would compare you two, Leona would end up losing or messing up somehow
not every time of course
he was trying to prove that neither of you was better than the other
and in return, you supported him
this system followed you two into Night Raven College
so even though you weren't being compared to Falena, you still supported each other in everything
no matter what score you got on your assignments, as long as it passed he was proud of you and congratulating you
you need help? not a problem he can help
he's proud of you for even being able to ask for help
if you ever need to talk about something or he even senses you're having a rough time, he's there
first he simply asks you what's wrong and he'll try to help any way he can
if you refuse to answer, he just silently stays by you and follows you around
he's pretty good and being able to tell what's wrong with little clues so he may find out eventually and try to help
generally he's willing to support anything you do
you've taken an interest in any specific club? he's going to encourage you to try it and may even introduce you to some of the club members
even if it's Malleus' gargoyle studies club
he'll still support you and encourage you to try it
but internally he wishes you had picked anything else
speaking of Malleus
while you two aren't being compared to Falena anymore, Leona would sometimes be compared to Malleus
and it's in these scenarios that you can really support him
so when he has Spelldrive games, you'll be there cheering him on from the crowd
he really appreciates it when you do especially if he's facing off against Malleus
if you want to become friends with Malleus...
he will still support you and reluctantly encourage you to try
even though Leona has a hatred for the guy, he's not going to let that get in the way of supporting you
it's safe to say that you were closer with Leona than you were with Falena
so while Falena may have been born first, Leona was your #1 brother

The invitation comes casually, like most things with Tony. He’s lounging on your bed, one arm tucked behind his head, the other flicking a small gadget between his fingers—a prototype, no doubt, that he whipped up in his spare time. The room smells faintly of burnt solder, thanks to his earlier tinkering. You’re perched at your desk, trying to study, though it’s hard to focus with him stretched out there looking entirely too comfortable in your space.
“So,” he says, drawing the word out like he’s testing the waters. “What do you think about spending New Year’s Eve with me?”
Your pencil stills over your notes, and you glance at him with a raised brow. “That depends. What do you think about spending New Year’s Eve with me?”
He rolls his eyes, that playful grin pulling at his lips. “Obviously, I’m in. But there’s a catch.”
Your stomach flips a little, and you don’t know why. Tony catches your hesitation immediately because, of course, he always does. He props himself up on one elbow, his expression softening in a way that still catches you off guard, even after all this time.
“Hey,” he says, voice quieter now. “It’s nothing bad. I just… well, my parents are throwing their annual party, and I want you to come with me. Meet them.”
You blink, the words landing heavily in your chest. Meet them. As in Howard and Maria Stark. The man whose name is on every headline, whose brilliance (and sometimes questionable ethics) cast a shadow Tony can never quite escape. The woman who appears in magazine spreads looking flawless and untouchable, like a queen in designer couture.
“Tony…” you start, but he’s already scrambling off the bed, crossing the room to you in a few quick strides.
“Before you say no,” he interrupts, crouching beside your chair, “hear me out. They’ll love you. I mean, how could they not? You’re… you.”
You let out a soft laugh, though it’s more nervous than amused. “You’re biased.”
“Damn right I am.” He leans his chin on the edge of your desk, looking up at you with those warm brown eyes that can talk you into almost anything. “But I mean it. They’ve been bugging me to bring you around anyway. And this party? It’s just a bunch of people standing around drinking overpriced champagne and pretending to care about the ball drop. You’ll fit right in.”
Your chest tightens at the thought. Fit right in? Not likely. Tony’s world feels so far removed from yours sometimes, even if he never treats you that way. He’s always been good at making you feel like you belong, like it doesn’t matter that his idea of a normal day includes private jets and cutting-edge labs while yours involves coffee runs and library study marathons.
“I don’t know,” you say finally, chewing on your bottom lip. “What if they… what if I don’t make a good impression?”
Tony straightens up, tilting his head as he studies you. “You’re nervous.”
“Of course I’m nervous!” you blurt, your voice higher-pitched than you’d like. “Your parents are—well, they’re them. What if they think I’m… I don’t know, not good enough for you?”
His expression shifts, and for a moment, you think you’ve offended him. But then he reaches for your hands, pulling you to your feet. His grip is warm, steady, grounding.
“Okay, first of all, no one gets to decide that but me,” he says firmly. “And second, they’re going to love you. Trust me.”
The way he says it—like it’s an unshakable truth—makes your heart squeeze. Tony Stark isn’t always the best at expressing his feelings, but when he does, it’s impossible not to believe him. Still, the idea of standing in a room full of people who know Tony as the heir to one of the biggest empires in the world feels daunting.
“I don’t even know what I’d wear,” you mumble, trying to stall.
Tony smirks, his usual cocky confidence slipping back into place. “Oh, that’s easy. I’ll pick something out for you.”
You narrow your eyes. “If it’s anything like that weird futuristic dress you sketched for me last month, I’m saying no.”
“Hey, that design was ahead of its time!” he protests, though he’s laughing. “But fine, we’ll shop together. Deal?”
You sigh, the fight slowly draining out of you. It’s hard to say no to Tony when he’s this determined. And, deep down, you know he means well. He wouldn’t be asking if he didn’t think you could handle it—or if he didn’t want you there.
“Okay,” you say at last, your voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll go.”
The grin that spreads across his face is so boyish and unguarded, it almost makes you forget why you were worried in the first place. Almost.
The days leading up to the party pass in a blur of preparations. True to his word, Tony drags you to a boutique downtown, where he insists on finding the perfect outfit. It’s an exhausting ordeal—he vetoes nearly every dress you try on, claiming they don’t do you justice, until you finally settle on something sleek and elegant that makes you feel like maybe, just maybe, you won’t stick out like a sore thumb.
“You look amazing,” Tony says as you step out of the fitting room, his gaze lingering on you in a way that sends heat rushing to your cheeks. “My parents won’t know what hit them.”
The night of the party arrives faster than you’d like. Tony picks you up in a sleek black car that’s almost too nice to sit in, dressed in a tailored suit that makes him look older, sharper, every bit the heir to Stark Industries. He whistles low when he sees you, offering his arm with a grin.
“Ready to make an entrance?” he asks, though he doesn’t wait for your answer before leading you to the car.
By the time you reach the Stark mansion, your nerves are a full-blown storm. The house is enormous, glowing with warm light against the crisp winter night. Guests in designer gowns and tuxedos mill about on the front steps, sipping champagne and exchanging pleasantries that sound more polished than genuine.
Tony squeezes your hand as you step inside, his touch a lifeline. The air is thick with the scent of expensive perfume and the low hum of jazz music. You spot waiters gliding through the crowd with trays of hors d’oeuvres that look too pretty to eat.
He leads you through the crowd with ease, pausing now and then to exchange pleasantries with people who seem eager to talk to him. You’re introduced as “Y/N,” no titles, no qualifiers, just your name. It’s both comforting and terrifying.
And then, there they are—Howard and Maria Stark. They’re standing near the grand staircase, an impressive pair that commands attention without even trying. Howard is tall and broad-shouldered, his sharp suit and carefully combed hair giving him an air of authority. Maria, by contrast, is elegant and understated, her smile polite but unreadable.
“Mom, Dad,” Tony says as you approach. “This is Y/N.”
Maria’s gaze softens as it lands on you, and she extends a perfectly manicured hand. “It’s so lovely to finally meet you,” she says, her tone warm but measured.
Howard offers a nod, his smile faint but not unkind. “Tony’s told us a lot about you.”
Your stomach twists, but you manage a smile, hoping it looks more confident than you feel. “It’s nice to meet you both,” you say, your voice steady despite the nervous flutter in your chest.
Tony’s hand brushes yours, a small, reassuring gesture that grounds you in the moment. For now, it’s enough.
Maria’s handshake is delicate but firm, her presence somehow simultaneously inviting and intimidating. As she releases your hand, you see her eyes flicker toward Tony, a faint smile tugging at her lips. Howard’s nod is accompanied by a polite once-over, as if he’s quietly assessing you but doing so in a way that doesn’t feel overly critical. For all your nerves, the atmosphere is not as icy as you had feared. Yet you’re acutely aware of the importance of this moment—these people are more than Tony’s parents. They’re titans of industry, figures who seem untouchable from a distance, and now they’re looking at you like they’re ready to get to know you.
“So,” Maria says, her voice smooth and composed, “we’ve been hearing about you for months now. It’s lovely to finally put a face to the name.”
“It’s lovely to meet you too,” you reply, hoping your voice doesn’t betray the butterflies rioting in your stomach. “Tony speaks about you often as well.”
Tony lets out a short laugh beside you, clearly amused. “Not too much, I hope. Don’t want to ruin the mystique.”
Maria chuckles lightly, her sharp eyes twinkling with subtle amusement. “Oh, I think we can handle it. So, tell us a bit about yourself, dear. Where do you come from? What’s your family like?”
It’s a straightforward question, but it feels loaded under the circumstances. Still, you’re determined to make a good impression.
“Well, I’m from Midtown,” you begin, smoothing the fabric of your dress unconsciously. “My family’s pretty small—just me, my mom, and my younger brother. My mom works as a nurse, and my brother’s still in middle school.”
Maria’s smile doesn’t waver, and there’s a flicker of interest in her expression. “That must keep your mother very busy. Nursing is such an admirable profession.”
“It does,” you agree, your confidence bolstered by her genuine tone. “She works long hours, but she’s amazing. She’s always been my role model.”
Howard’s deep voice cuts in next, not unkind but more direct. “And what about you? Tony mentioned you’re quite the student. What are your plans after high school?”
You glance at Tony briefly, catching the way he’s watching you—there’s a quiet pride in his eyes, a silent encouragement that steadies your nerves. Turning back to Howard, you answer honestly.
“I’m planning to go to college,” you say. “I’ve applied to a few schools already. I’m hoping to major in environmental science… maybe engineering. I’ve always loved the idea of building things or coming up with solutions to problems.”
Maria tilts her head slightly, her smile deepening. “Engineering? That’s wonderful. And very fitting, given who you’re dating,” she teases lightly, her gaze sliding toward Tony.
Tony grins, unfazed. “What can I say? I’ve got a type. Brilliant and beautiful.”
You roll your eyes at his shamelessness, but Howard chuckles, his posture relaxing slightly. “Good answer,” he says, clearly pleased with his son’s response. He turns back to you. “Environmental science, though. That’s not the most common choice. Why that field?”
You take a deep breath, finding your footing as the conversation shifts into territory you’re passionate about. “I’ve always cared about the environment,” you say. “I think it’s one of the biggest challenges our generation will face. And I want to be part of the solution. Whether it’s renewable energy, conservation, or designing more sustainable technology… it feels like something that matters.”
Maria’s gaze softens, and she exchanges a look with Howard. There’s something unspoken between them, an understanding that passes with a single glance. When Maria speaks again, her voice is warm, almost approving.
“That’s a very admirable goal. And one that’s becoming more important by the day.”
Howard nods in agreement, his demeanor shifting slightly as if he’s already decided you’re worth listening to. “It’s good to hear someone your age thinking about the bigger picture. Too many people overlook that kind of thing.”
You smile, your nerves easing with each passing moment. Their approval feels genuine, not forced or obligatory, and it gives you the confidence to keep going.
“I think it helps to have people around who believe in you,” you say, glancing at Tony again. “He’s been a big part of that for me.”
Tony’s grin widens, and he slips an arm around your waist, pulling you a little closer. “Don’t let her fool you,” he says. “She’s the one with the brilliant ideas. I’m just lucky to be around to hear them.”
Maria’s laugh is soft, but her eyes are bright as she watches the two of you. “You two seem very good for each other. It’s always nice to see that kind of balance in a relationship.”
Howard’s voice carries a hint of approval as he adds, “Tony’s lucky to have found someone like you. I’m glad he has someone who’s keeping him grounded.”
The words catch you off guard, but they warm you from the inside out. It’s the kind of sentiment you’d hoped for but hadn’t dared to expect. Tony, for all his bravado, has always had a complicated relationship with his parents. Hearing his father speak so openly about his pride in Tony’s choices feels significant, like a rare glimpse into a side of their dynamic you don’t often see.
“I’m lucky too,” you say softly, meeting Howard’s eyes. “Tony’s brilliant. And he’s always pushing me to do better, to think bigger. I think that’s what makes us work so well together.”
Tony’s arm tightens around you briefly, and you catch the faintest hint of a blush creeping up his neck. It’s rare to see him speechless, but the pride in his expression is unmistakable.
Maria’s smile grows, and she steps forward, placing a gentle hand on your arm. “You’re a lovely young woman,” she says sincerely. “And it’s clear you mean a great deal to Tony. Thank you for joining us tonight.”
The warmth in her words makes your chest ache in the best way. You hadn’t realized how much you’d been craving their approval until now, but the genuine kindness in Maria’s tone makes it all the more meaningful.
“Thank you for having me,” you reply, your voice steady despite the swell of emotion. “It’s been a pleasure meeting you both.”
Howard steps forward then, offering his hand again. This time, his grip feels a touch more personal, less perfunctory. “Keep an eye on him for us,” he says, a glint of humor in his eyes. “Lord knows he needs it.”
Tony groans dramatically. “Okay, okay, that’s enough parental bonding. Can we go check out the snack table now?”
Maria laughs softly, waving you off with a graceful flick of her hand. “Go, enjoy yourselves. We’ll talk more later.”
Tony doesn’t need to be told twice. He takes your hand, leading you away from the crowd and toward the quieter corner of the expansive room. Once you’re out of earshot, he stops, turning to face you with a mischievous grin.
“So? How’d I do?”
You blink, caught off guard. “You? What do you mean?”
He leans in closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “I mean, did I pick the right moment to introduce you? Were the lighting and ambiance sufficiently romantic? Did I sell my pitch as the proud boyfriend?”
You laugh, the last of your nerves melting away. “You were perfect, Stark. But your parents? They’re…”
“Scary? Intimidating? Too good at making you feel like they’re reading your mind?” he offers, grinning when you nod.
“A little,” you admit. “But they were also… really nice. I think it went well.”
Tony’s expression softens, his cocky façade dropping for a moment. “Of course it did. They’d have to be crazy not to love you.”
You roll your eyes, but you can’t help the smile tugging at your lips. “You’re such a sap.”
“Only for you,” he replies, his grin turning wicked. “Now, come on. Let’s grab some dessert before my dad ropes us into a conversation about corporate ethics.”
As he pulls you toward the snack table, his hand warm in yours, you realize that the evening is far from over—but for the first time, you’re not worried. Tony’s world may be big and overwhelming, but tonight, it feels like you belong there. And as you glance back to see Maria and Howard watching you both with quiet pride, you think they might just believe that too.
The grandeur of the Stark residence is even more overwhelming as the evening progresses. Every corner of the room seems to hold someone important, conversations buzzing with words like "stocks," "mergers," and "international markets." It’s a world you’re still adjusting to, and though Tony has never made you feel out of place, you can’t shake the occasional pang of self-consciousness.
Excusing yourself to the bathroom gives you a moment to breathe, away from the intensity of the crowd. You splash a little water on your wrists and smooth down your dress, giving yourself a pep talk in the mirror. You’ve already managed to win over his parents—something you hadn’t expected to happen so easily. Surely, you can handle the rest of the evening. After all, Tony is by your side.
When you step back into the main room, the sight of him immediately draws your attention. He’s standing near a sleek bar setup, surrounded by a small group of men in sharply tailored suits. Even in this crowd of CEOs and industry giants, Tony stands out. His confidence is palpable, his charisma effortlessly commanding the attention of those around him. You hesitate, unsure whether to approach. They’re deep in conversation, and the last thing you want is to interrupt or seem out of place.
For a moment, you consider waiting on the sidelines until the discussion wraps up. But as if sensing your presence, Tony glances up, his eyes finding yours almost instantly. A slow, warm smile spreads across his face, and he waves you over with a subtle beckon. The gesture feels intimate, personal—a quiet reassurance that no matter who he’s with, you’re always welcome.
As you approach, Tony’s smile deepens. When you’re close enough, he leans in and presses a soft kiss to your cheek. “There you are,” he murmurs, his voice low but unmistakably fond.
One of the men in the circle clears his throat, and you notice his expression shift into something between surprise and discomfort. He’s older, probably in his fifties, with a thin mustache and a stiff posture that screams corporate formality.
“I wasn’t aware you had… company tonight, Stark,” the man says, his tone carefully measured.
Tony smirks, clearly unbothered. “This is my girlfriend,” he says simply, his arm slipping around your waist. The ease with which he says it sends a thrill through you, though the reaction from the group is mixed.
“Your girlfriend?” another man echoes, his brows lifting in surprise. He looks between you and Tony, as if trying to piece together a puzzle. “Forgive me for asking, but whose daughter are you?”
You blink, caught off guard by the question. “Oh, I’m not…” you begin, glancing at Tony for help.
“She’s not anyone’s daughter in this room, if that’s what you’re asking,” Tony interjects smoothly, his tone laced with just enough edge to make it clear he doesn’t appreciate the implication. “She’s here because she’s incredible, not because of her last name.”
The mustachioed man—Mr. Carmichael, you think you heard someone call him earlier—looks visibly taken aback. “I didn’t mean to suggest—”
Tony cuts him off with a light laugh, though there’s an unmistakable sharpness beneath it. “Relax, Carmichael. I get it. You thought I’d be interested in your pitch about your daughter. Honestly, I’m flattered, but as you can see, I’m pretty happy with my current situation.”
The color drains from Carmichael’s face, and the rest of the group shifts awkwardly, clearly unsure how to proceed. You feel a mix of emotions—embarrassment, yes, but also a fierce kind of pride. Tony’s confidence in you, his unwavering refusal to let anyone question your place by his side, makes you stand a little taller.
“I’m sorry,” you say quickly, trying to smooth over the tension. “I didn’t mean to interrupt your conversation.”
“You’re not interrupting,” Tony says firmly, giving you a reassuring squeeze. Then, addressing the group, he adds, “Actually, I think you guys might want to hear from her. She’s planning to study environmental science and engineering. Pretty smart, huh?”
The shift in the room is almost comical. Where moments ago they seemed skeptical, even dismissive, now their expressions are filled with curiosity.
“Environmental science?” one of them repeats, his tone suddenly much friendlier. “That’s an interesting field. Are you planning to focus on renewable energy?”
You nod, a little hesitant but grateful for the opportunity to steer the conversation into more comfortable territory. “That’s one of the areas I’m really interested in,” you say. “There’s so much potential for innovation, especially with the way technology is advancing. I think it’s one of the most important challenges we can address.”
The man—his name tag reads “Jameson”—nods thoughtfully. “Smart choice. The industry’s going to need more forward thinkers like you.”
“Thank you,” you say, the praise giving you a small boost of confidence.
“And you’re still in high school?” another man asks, his tone tinged with disbelief.
“Yes,” you admit. “Tony and I are in the same grade.”
Carmichael, who’s been uncharacteristically quiet, finally speaks up. “High school, and you’re already thinking about global challenges like that. That’s… impressive.”
You’re not sure if his approval is entirely genuine or if he’s simply trying to recover from his earlier misstep, but either way, you offer him a polite smile. “It’s something I’m passionate about. And I’m lucky to have people around me who encourage me to aim high.”
Tony beams at that, his pride in you practically radiating. “She’s underselling it,” he says. “She’s not just aiming high; she’s going to change the world.”
The men laugh, but it’s not mocking—it’s the kind of laugh that comes with genuine admiration. For the first time, you feel like you belong in this circle, like they’re starting to see you as more than just Tony’s girlfriend.
The conversation continues, flowing more easily now. They ask about your thoughts on sustainability, your experiences in school, and even your plans for college. With each question, you find yourself relaxing, the initial tension fading as you focus on the topics you’re passionate about. Tony stays by your side the whole time, chiming in occasionally with his trademark wit but mostly letting you shine.
At one point, Jameson leans closer to Tony and mutters something you can’t quite catch. Whatever it is, it makes Tony laugh—a genuine, delighted sound that makes your heart skip a beat.
When the group finally disperses, Carmichael offers you a polite nod. “It was a pleasure meeting you,” he says, his tone markedly more respectful than when the conversation began.
“You too,” you reply, feeling a small sense of victory as he walks away.
Once you’re alone with Tony, he turns to you with a grin. “See? Told you they’d love you.”
You roll your eyes, though you can’t hide your smile. “I think they were just surprised. They probably expected you to be dating someone… different.”
Tony raises an eyebrow. “Different how?”
“I don’t know. Someone from their world, I guess.”
He shakes his head, his expression turning serious. “You don’t have to be from their world to belong in it. You’re amazing, and if they can’t see that, it’s their loss.”
The sincerity in his voice makes your chest tighten. You lean into him, letting his warmth and confidence steady you. “Thank you,” you say softly.
“For what?” he asks, his tone lightening again.
“For making me feel like I belong here,” you admit. “Even when I’m not sure I do.”
Tony presses a quick kiss to your forehead. “You don’t just belong here,” he says. “You make this place better. Don’t ever forget that.”
As the evening continues, you find yourself settling into the rhythm of it all. The grandeur of the event doesn’t feel quite so intimidating anymore, and every time you catch Tony’s eye, you’re reminded of why you’re here. In his world, by his side, you feel like you truly belong.
The night unfolds in a swirl of laughter, conversation, and the occasional clink of glasses. You find yourself more comfortable now, moving through the party with Tony’s reassuring presence at your side. The grandiose world of the Starks—one that had once felt so intimidating—begins to feel a little more approachable. With Tony holding your hand or whispering jokes into your ear at every turn, it feels like you’re in on some kind of secret.
Eventually, you find yourselves slipping away from the crowd. The party hums on in the background, the faint strains of a string quartet mingling with the murmur of voices and the distant pop of champagne corks. Tony leads you down a quieter hallway, away from the main rooms, until you’re standing in front of a set of tall windows that overlook the sprawling grounds of the estate.
“Needed a breather?” you tease as he presses his forehead to the cool glass.
He glances at you, grinning. “I thought you might need one. Not that you weren’t killing it back there, but, you know, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to step away from the CEOs and their unsolicited opinions.”
You laugh softly, crossing your arms as you lean against the window beside him. “It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I think I actually had fun.”
Tony straightens, his expression softening as he looks at you. “I knew you’d be amazing. I don’t think there’s anyone who can’t see it.”
You roll your eyes, but your smile betrays your attempt to brush off the compliment. “You’re biased.”
“Absolutely,” he admits without hesitation. “But that doesn’t make it any less true.”
The glow from the lights outside casts his features in a warm hue, and for a moment, you lose yourself in the way he’s looking at you. There’s a tenderness there that makes your chest ache in the best way—a feeling that no matter how big his world is, you’ll always have a place in it.
“What about you?” you ask, breaking the silence. “Do you ever feel like you need a breather from all… this?”
He tilts his head, considering the question. “Sometimes. But you make it easier. When you’re here, it feels less like a circus and more like…” He trails off, his lips quirking into a wry smile. “I don’t know. Like it’s something I actually want to be part of.”
Your heart skips a beat at his honesty. “Tony Stark, are you saying I make you want to behave?”
“Let’s not go crazy,” he says with a laugh, though there’s a glimmer of seriousness in his eyes. “But yeah. You keep me grounded. And you remind me that there’s more to life than just impressing a room full of people.”
He reaches for your hand, lacing his fingers with yours. For a while, you stand there together, watching the stars outside and enjoying the rare quiet moment. The faint sounds of the party drift down the hall, but here, it feels like it’s just the two of you.
“Do you think we’ll still be doing this ten years from now?” you ask suddenly, the question slipping out before you can think too much about it.
Tony doesn’t hesitate. “I hope so. But maybe not this.” He gestures vaguely toward the distant murmur of the party. “Something better. Something ours.”
You glance at him, surprised by the depth of his response. “Ours?”
“Yeah,” he says, his tone casual but his gaze steady. “Like, I don’t know… maybe a New Year’s Eve on a beach somewhere. Or in some cabin in the mountains. Just us. No suits, no CEOs. Just you and me.”
The thought makes your cheeks warm. “That sounds… perfect.”
He grins, leaning in to press a soft kiss to your temple. “Then we’ll make it happen.”
For a while, you stay tucked away in your little corner, stealing a moment that feels like it belongs entirely to you. Tony tells you a ridiculous story about one of his father’s business trips, and you counter with a memory from a summer vacation when you and your brother tried to camp in your backyard but got scared off by a raccoon. You laugh until your sides hurt, your voices low and close in the quiet hallway.
As the clock ticks closer to midnight, Tony reluctantly pulls you back toward the main event. The energy in the room has shifted, the hum of anticipation building as the new year approaches. Guests gather in clusters, glasses of sparkling cider in hand, their conversations a little louder and their laughter a little freer.
Tony finds a spot near the center of the room, his hand never leaving yours as he leads you to stand by his side. The two of you are surrounded by a sea of faces, but all you can focus on is him.
“Two minutes to go,” he murmurs, glancing down at you with a small smile. “You ready?”
“For the new year?” you ask, feigning nonchalance. “I guess.”
He nudges you gently. “For everything. This year, next year… all of it.”
Your breath catches at the weight of his words, but before you can respond, the countdown begins.
“Ten! Nine!”
The voices swell around you, and you feel Tony’s hand tighten slightly around yours.
“Eight! Seven! Six!”
You glance up at him, and the way he’s looking at you makes the rest of the room fade away.
“Five! Four!”
Your heart pounds in your chest, each second stretching out as the moment draws closer.
“Three! Two! One! Happy New Year!”
The room erupts in cheers, the sound of voices and clinking glasses filling the air. But all you notice is Tony as he leans in, his free hand cupping your cheek as his lips meet yours. It’s a kiss that feels like a promise—a declaration that no matter what the new year brings, you’ll face it together.
When he finally pulls back, his forehead rests lightly against yours, and his voice is soft, just for you. “Happy New Year, sweetheart.”
“Happy New Year,” you whisper back, your cheeks warm and your heart full.
The noise around you gradually fades into the background as the two of you share a quiet moment in the middle of the bustling crowd.
“So,” Tony says, his tone lighter now, “what’s your resolution?”
You think for a moment before answering. “To keep chasing my dreams. And to make sure we never lose sight of ours.”
He smiles, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “I like that. Mine’s to make sure you know how proud I am of you every single day. And… maybe to be a little less reckless.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Maybe?”
He laughs, the sound warm and familiar. “Hey, I’m a work in progress.”
You shake your head, but your smile lingers. “We’ll figure it out together.”
“Always,” he says, his voice filled with quiet certainty.
The two of you stand there for a while longer, watching as the party continues around you. People laugh, toast, and embrace, the room alive with celebration. But in your little bubble, it feels like the world has stopped.
As the night winds down, Tony pulls you close, his arm draped around your shoulders as you lean against him. The future feels vast and uncertain, but with him by your side, you’re not afraid. Together, you’ll face whatever comes next—one dream, one resolution, and one New Year’s kiss at a time.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW RIGHT NOW?
This is a general reading based on a collective of people. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t. If you don’t feel the pile resonates with you, don’t be scared to try another, if it still doesn’t feel right, that’s ok! Maybe our energies aren’t as connected and my readings are not for you.
I do these strictly for fun and educational purposes. I don’t change for these readings and I do not fake readings. I would tell you the cards I got but I pull like 20-30 cards each reading and that just slightly a strenuous task to write them all down lmao.
PICK A CARD READING
I asked my spirit guides what you need to know right now (and I got some weirdass answers), pick a card to find out what they have to tell you.
Tumblr media
PILE 1
This was certainly a confusing reading, the first thing I was seeing was someone scrunched up on a couch, holding a telephone to their chest while three people tried to pry it from their hands. I also noticed that there weee hills piling up. Weirdly, the message I was getting was that bills weren’t being paid for the sake of hoarding money, and this person had swapped/sold out their old mobile phone for a much cheaper alternative (telephone) to preserve money.
The cards showed me a story of someone who had made a large sum of money but were hoarding it due to financially unstable beginnings. I see this making the person feel trapped and territorial. When visualising I saw a young firm who was even afraid of the attitude this person had, this may be your child, your inner child or a future child or yours.
Spirit showed me the 10 of pentacles, the empress and the death cards to symbolise that this is something you need to take the time to grow from, and let go of.
With the high priestess and wheel of fortune I can see that you can continue/start spending that money that you need to be spending and the universe will continue to give you the money as a reward if you allow it.
But do not overindulge.
I asked for some confirmation, and I got the word “liver”. After research I learnt that you can remove 90% of the liver and it will still grow back to its full size. I see this as a message to tell you not to worry about the loss and focus on what can be built up again.
PILE 2
Firstly, for visuals I saw a girl and a guy (gender doesn’t matter for this) inside an arcade, the guy stood by while the girl won a teddy bear from the claw machine (a notoriously hard game to win). After she had won it, the guy proceeded to try and steal the machine. The girl stood on lookout but was against the idea. She then pulled him out of the arcade and berated him for his stupidity - he however, did not care. After a little while they had calmed down and she asked him to go on the helter skelter (is that how you spell it?) He then flat out refused, not having a care for her desire.
I can see that this connection isn’t one you want to keep, whether this is family, friends, or even a partner, I can tell that this person doesn’t understand you and doesn’t plan on trying to anytime soon. The claw machine felt like an easy way to your heart and instead of taking the time to try their best at winning you another teddy, which would take time, money and effort, they resulted to trying to steal it. They didn’t care about the consequences of getting caught because they never seem to think ahead. They tend to live in the moment and that can get them in trouble.
To me the helter skelter represented the lengths that you would go for them (since it’s quite high up and I’m personally terrified of heights.) And you would take that journey to climb the stairs, get to the top and then make your way down the slide, meanwhile they were not willing to do this for you.
The cards tell me a similar story, I see a selfish individual that gives only what they can gain, this means materially you can have everything, but emotionally, they offer nothing close to what you desire. You’re willing to work on the relationship but they are not. This causes gossip and instability, it leaves you up at early hours of the morning upset.
I would recommend standing your ground and realising your worth so you can finally walk away.

Mouthwashing Headcanons
I may be cringe...But I am free! This is my first time actively sharing my headcanons. Sorry if this sounds incoherent, these were partially done on impulse because I wanna share my love for this game!!!
(Note: There's no mentions of Post-crash here!) (Note #2: Yeah Anya has the most, she's a queen and deserves it!)
Anya 🌕
Early to mid-30s
Tall! I imagine she's at least 5'8 (and her sandals provide an extra inch of height as well)
Russian (credits to @lesbiananya for this hc actually! Her fics are awesome!)
She moved to America in her mid-20s
Lesbian
Growing up, her family placed many expectations on her. Academically, she went beyond most of her class, but as she got older, she struggled immensely with various insecurities over being "good enough".
It developed into her feeling very hyper-independent. She only considers it her final option.
It's...Partially the reason why she's so estranged from her family now.
Undiagnosed autistic (currently going through burnout)
Major reason why she kept failing medical school: She kept running out of money she earned from working hauls with Pony Express. Is in debt.
On the ship, she...Doesn't do much. With such a small crew, there's very little chance of anyone getting seriously hurt. And the food...Well, it's terrible, but not enough to make anyone sick.
She spends a lot of time (during the "workday") in her office. She likes playing the music while she studies in there. It's mostly ambient music.
Bands/Artists I'd think she'd like though: The Crane Wives, Mitski, boa (Maybe Big Thief as well?)
When the crew is playing a board game and it's getting intense, she'll go eerily quiet and have this intense glare!
Smokes often, usually when she's stressed. Unfortunately on this haul, she only packed one box, so she making them last as much as she can...
Also has a journal. She mainly uses it to vent her frustrations out. It's the only thing that will "listen" to her.
She's cold to the touch
After her first haul, she packed extra blankets. You can't tell me the Tulpar isn't cold 24/7!
Near-sighted! She wears contacts (I know this isn't the most original headcanon, but I wanted to mention this one!)
Curly 🚀
Mid-30s
6'1
Born in Australia, raised in America after his family moved when he was young
Bisexual, but he didn't know for a long time (At least until his late 20s)
Parents had him when they were older. Both passed by the time he was 30.
Has been Jimmy's friend since middle school.
Kept finding himself surrounded by bad influences. Sometimes he'd get out of those situations...And other times he'd stick by Jimmy.
Doesn't have that much of a social life outside of Pony Express. As a pilot, it's a super demanding job.
Daisuke 🌺
21
5'7 (Shortest of the Crew)
Japanese/Filipino (Born to immigrant parents)
Aroace, but hasn't realized yet (struggling with comphet)
Trans! At first, only Anya knew (due to medical reports). He's pretty open about it!
Loves art, but his parents didn't understand how it could've been a stable career/passion for him.
Not a morning person at all. For a while, the hardest part of being on the ship was waking up before noon.
Used to Naruto run (honestly he still does it sometimes for fun)
Not a fan of coffee unless if it's 90% creamer + sugar.
Also doesn't like alcohol (even the sweeter drinks such like Pina Coladas, Cosmopolitans, etc.), prefers soda!
Reminds Curly of when he himself was younger (right when he started working for Pony Express)
Swansea 🦢
Early 50s
5'10
American (Southeast)
Also has Welsh ancestry!
Married, has three daughters. Two of them already left the nest. He's estranged from his family due to work.
Doesn't wear his wedding ring while working. Safety hazard.
Like Curly, he goes by his last name rather than his first.
Sees Daisuke like the son he never had!
Didn't really understand what Daisuke was talking about when he came out to him. Mostly because the intern was talking really fast and used a lot of lingo Swansea couldn't begin to wrap his head around.
But he eventually got it. He's still a bit confused, but willing to learn. Just not while he's busy working.
Jimmy 🐴
(Content Warning: Implied childhood abuse and neglect.) (Additional Note: I did not make these headcanons to excuse, downplay his actions, or make him sympathetic.)
Mid-30s (A little bit older than Curly)
5'11
American (Midwest)
Rough childhood. Curly was the only one who knew the full extent of what his homelife was like. However, when Curly wanted to tell people, Jimmy pressured him not to.
He fully believed that his life would get worse if anyone got involved.
As an adult, he believes he'll never be like his father.
Barely graduated high school
HATES being called "James"
His feelings towards Curly are complicated, to say the least. They have a codependent relationship.
Listens to crunkcore and country exclusively.
