There's some very veryyy slight change in demeanor for some of them in chap 1 and chap 2, part 1 but otherwise? Before locking your route? Nope.

You'll lock your route early and the ROs aren't that close to MC rn, so it’d be hard for any of them to show jealousy or confusion if the MC flirts with someone else.

The heart choices will matter (it'll depend on how many hearts you got with the other RO, though), even if you've locked your route with a RO. Cheating is on the table, flirting with another RO is on the table too, and breaking up once you’ve started dating a RO is definitely on the table as well.

I have to say when it comes for episode 107 I'm on the camp of this feeling wrong. Like, two gods' plan is to just let Ludinus just have his way? And just assume that the vessel won't get them? The Wildmother showed Orym the time Predathos came to town, it took out two of them in a blink and the Titans did the heavy lifting, it chased them from Tengar to Exandria without concept of navigation so it's foolish to think they won't do the same this time around. Running forever isn't a life even the infinite should be pursuing. Corellon is cheeky and flirty but it's a mask for being deflective and honestly a little cowardly. What you're asking and trying to persuade with gifts requires the Hells to entertain sacrificing one of their own, which they shouldn't (and I'm hopeful they won't, because that'd be to me at least be a character betrayal since they have always prioritized each other over the gods) consider doing even for any kind of promise, and treating it like it's a necessity, as if leaving like you've decided you want to do now is your 'sacrifice'? Even if being a vessel and still being of sound mind was a viable option with proof that it can work that way, there are too many unknown factors that it seems not even the gods have answers for, so it should all trail back to the fact that this is STILL not a risk worth taking and Ludinus should not be having his way.

I guess part of this feeling comes down to the fact that this was not what I was hoping to get out of the episode; I'm always open to being surprised (because I often am) but it has to be in a good way, this was not a good way. But we'll have to see where it goes, this is a proposal of two gods against a majority yet to say their piece and could still be heard out, I still trust Matt's vision and Abu DM's like smooth butter, but the god debate admittedly continues to wear on me - we were already in a state where we were open to talk but now they're conspiring against one another too? Can we not just focus on Plan A: Unite to Stop Ludinus from releasing Predathos? Evoroa literally said Ludinus' plan is to divide why are we sowing more division? Couldn't just kill Zathuda and take his dragon for Fearne...this should've been Bell's Hells' big win to make up for Otohan but now for me at least it feels a little sour.

I've been seeing a lot of people complaining that tmagp isn't independent from tma, as in, you need to have watched tma in order to understand what is going on in tmagp, but i don't really think that's the case. for example:

- when Sam got and emali from "Jon", tma fans understood that this is a ref to Jonathan Sims. non-tma fans don't have that understanding, but they understand that this is clearly weird, as no one with that name works at the OIAR. the effect is the same

- when Gerry and Gertrude appeared, both non-tma fans and tma fans understood that Gerry used to be in the institute as a kid, and that Gertrude is reluctant and untrusting of Sam and Celia. there is no additional context from tma needed to understand that scene

- the character of Celia is suspicious regardless if you've seen tma or not, her weirdness is very well established outside of the fact that she also appears in tma (keen interest in the incidents, waking up in random places, weird questions etc)

- Gwen's last name (Bouchard) is also something that tma fans would recognize immediately, but recently they specifically mentioned the "Cheshire Bouchards", clearly trying to draw attention to her last name. tma knowledge is no longer needed to understand that her name Means Something

- all the other characters from tma that appeared have (so far) been completely different people. they're an alt version of themselves, so knowing them from tma is not required to understand any of their scenes or dialogue

the only thing that you could make a case for is Chester and Norris' voices and connecting them to Jon and Martin, but even that could be easily solved with a quick google search. all u need to know is that they were 2 main characters from tma, whose faith is left ambiguous at the end of the show, and now their vas are voicing Chester and Norris, the 2 ai programs

so far all tma references have only allowed tma fans to catch on that something is sus quicker, but it's clear that the writers put effort in dropping different clues other than just "this character used to appear in tma too!" and I'm sure there'll be even more as the series goes on

if anyone knows something i missed, feel free to point it out, im very interested! but from what we've seen so far, i really don't think a tmagp-only fan would be confused by the direction of the plot, as i feel that things are well established outside of their connections to tma

Hello, everyone! I hope y'all had a fantastic Halloween and collected all the wonderful treats around here bc I know I did! Now, this being sad, I come bearing some news. Good or bad, depending on your own personal flavor of storytelling Simblr.

I've been playing a save file featuring The Baudelaires with the Life & Death expansion (because HELLO!? Morticians? Victorian spiritualism!? GHOST HISTORIAN!? This pack was MADE from the Baudelaires original flavor y'all!!!) and I have been having such a blast, and I'd really like to share it with you.

So, that being said, we will be starting fresh in the year 1890 and this time, I'm actually going to play with my little Barbies instead of just focusing on storytelling / posing, though that will still be mixed in as well.

We're also still going to be focusing on heavy topics (like Irish history will still be my main focus), and I don't think there's a way around that when telling a narrative rooted in real life history. But I'd like to be able to include a little sims whimsy and fun alongside that as well when I'm able to as a treat for myself in-between the hard times.

Also, I'm going back to my old schedule of posting Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays! That way I can build a nice queue (which I already have quite a bit of ehehe) and also fix my nav/tag system

at first I thought it was really weird that Yenna was just... conveniently waiting on the path to Wyrm's Crossing in a place where you are physically unable to avoid her with a sob sorry ready for the first strangers she meets (which doesn't entirely make sense on it's own either - what do you mean Yenna's mother just left her home alone to go see a doctor for a terminal illness? there wasn't ANYONE who could watch her? her mother couldn't bring her to the appointment?)

even IF you're super mean to her and tell her to go away, she somehow finds your camp on her own regardless and decides to stay unless you kick her out. how did she find your camp? why would you LET Yenna stay in camp when Withers just made Arabella leave because traveling with the party was too dangerous for her? you expect me to believe this little girl and her cat are safer in our camp when we were literally just ambushed by gith last night?? the FIRST night we enter the city?

And then she eventually just disappears from camp even IF you defeat Orin and save her?? I guess you could reason that she was traumatized and didn't want to stay anymore, but where the hell is she going to go? Why do we NEVER see her again?

I understand why her presence is necessary from a mechanical point of view (re: needing a fail-safe in case none of the kidnappable party members are available), but I think Yenna's narrative role would make a lot more sense and be WAY more interesting if she was always a doppelganger (and Orin herself at different points)

It would explain why Orin is able to kidnap characters like Lae'zel and Minthara when they are so on-guard all the time, or Halsin when he's so damn big and strong (which I think he even questions himself at some point?) - their guards were down around a "child", Orin and/or another doppelganger had been closely watching them for days learning about their personalities and weaknesses, and she could easily knock them out discretely by poisoning her soup or something

in the case that Yenna HERSELF is "kidnapped", it just serves as a clever way to play your empathy by putting this "little girl" in danger so Orin can easily lure you to the Temple of Bhaal (especially if you're playing as a good-aligned Dark Urge), while also having an easy way to spy on the party before you enter the Lower City. and then, in the case you DO save her, Yenna conveniently "disappears" from camp after Orin is dead (doppelganger trying to save their own skin after their purpose has been fulfilled, maybe?).

I don't think this is what the writers intended but in MY mind that little girl is a doppelganger
