Screw optimisation and efficiency, my best AC is the joke one I made because I wanted a retro-futuristic looking robot with a pair of big irons strapped to his thighs and a truly garish colour scheme.
It is pure coincidence that he is the easiest and most comfortable-to-pilot AC i've yet made in the game. I put part of that down to this being my 6th playthrough, but even so.
Remember, if your AC isn't fun then it isn't worth it. It's up to you to decide whether fun means looking cool, being powerful or having a combination of the two.

Alliance R&D has officially begun construction on the Prothean device. The team has dubbed it: "Project Crucible". We're throwing everybody who knows how to throw a hammer at it. This is gonna be the most ambitious undertaking in human history. I'm not saying it won't be a challenge- but we can do this, Shepard. You can do this. Never doubt that.
Mass Effect 3: Legendary Edition (2021)
So you know this party banter between Aveline and Carver?
Aveline: I don't like some of the people you've been associating with, Carver.
Carver: Talk to my brother/sister. He/She's the one in charge.
If you're on the rivalry path with Aveline, she says:
Aveline: Who says I don't mean him/her too? This city's full of people who are dead set on ending badly. I don't want to see you end up the same way.
I just- Aveline, you- you're so- hhhhnnnngggggg
I always rival Aveline when I play a mage, and if you think Edgar Aristide Hawke, who practically raised Carver and Bethany after Malcolm died and Leandra became a distant mother in her grief, wouldn't stop dead in his tracks at Aveline heavily implying he's a bad influence on his brother and Carver shouldn't hang around him so much since apparently Ed's someone set on ending badly...? Absolutely not.
This is another case of me wishing Hawke had the option to jump in during party banter with different options, because Ed would've chewed Aveline out for that.
Oh, and then there's:
Carver: Would asking you to stop spying on me help in the least?
Aveline: No.
WAIT STOP SHUT UP IM REWATCHING THE FINAL TOTK TRAILER AND REALIZING HOW LIKE... GENUINELY BEAUTIFUL IT IS THAT LINK GETS TO FIGHT W THE DESCENDANTS ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS... HE SPENT THE ENTIRETY OF BOTW ALL BY HIMSELF... ALL ALONE... HE WAS PROBABLY SO LONELY... AND ONCE HE GOT HIS MEMORIES BACK HE PROBABLY FELT SO MUCH GUILT AND REGRET OVER NOT BEING ABLE TO FIGHT WITH THE CHAMPIONS TO SAVE THEM... BUT NOW HE GETS TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE THE DESCENDANTS AND JUST THE CITIZENS OF THE KINGDOM IN GENERAL.... AND PROTECT THEM.... IM ACTUALLY GOING TO FULL ON SOB... THE WAY THEY LITERALLY SAY ‘YOU ARE NOT ALONE’ IN THE TRAILER.... I WONT MAKE IT THROUGH THAT CUTSCENE WITHOUT BEING A COMPLETE WRECK I SWEAR
I started an honor mode playthrough with probably the cutest tiefling in bg3 and I fuckn got killed during the Phase Spider Matriarch, so I decided to continue my save with dishonor because my character was just so damn cute. Well for some reason or another the game didn't?? Switch it to custom mode?? It's still honor mode??
So I'm either going to get those golden dice in the most dishonorable way possible or the game is just pulling on my leg and It's just honor mode without the reward.
I really love this scene because Flynn is so stressed out and aggravated and Yuri can tell, so he doesn't get mad, even if Flynn is saying things that are a bit miffing. He doesn't engage with the comments (even when you can tell he's miffed in the moment he looks away, actively trying not to engage with the comment and make the mood worse), stays calm and just gets to the point of the conversation, ending it off being casual and playful (in regular Yuri Lowell fashion!!). He understands how frustrating this is for Flynn and handles it without letting himself get worked up in return.
I've said it before, but Yuri's emotional intelligence and his responses to other people's emotional states fascinates me. Sometimes he does give in to the moment, but most of the time he can assess the situation and respond to the other person the best way possible depending on the situation without pressing the wrong buttons.
is "drawing sonic cute is bad and tarnishes the franchise's reputation" really the new sonic fandom discourse now. because ive seen several people mention it and its making my brain explode
i keep being like "you are on HIATUS stop checking TUMBLR" but then i keep coming back ever since getting bg3 because I'm like "i need to see what the besties are saying about our dear vampire and also see if folks have stopped sleeping on my darling wyll yet" help i am being consumed by the brainrot
