I think if you are able to go to a therapist and have that therapist help you with your trauma, then you are lucky that you're trauma was something that a therapist can help you with.

I cannot count how many therapists that I have been to (or how many people have told me to go to therapy) and let me tell you, no one knows what to do with me.

I currently see a therapist (probably should have seen her today but she was not at the office for some reason. Apparently) and she barely knows how to respond when I explain my trauma to her. Not that anyone does.

Occasionally, she has words of advice for more recent things, but none of the actually bad childhood shit.

Though it probably doesn't help that my father was obsessed with torture and inspired by the same people who inspire that elongated muskrat that keeps rummaging arount the capital.

God I swear every other week something shitty happens to trigger more memories. I want it to stop. I can't even fucking talk to anyone about it. I have to act like everything is fine when its fucking not.
