You talked about this on your last blog and sorry to bring it up again! but ever since his hiatus-Brody's acting has been incredible to watch. There's a lot of subtlety in what he's doing now (he used to really lean into big over the top moments that didn't always feel right or earned) and particularly the way he responds to Emma/whoever is playing Cherry and Sky has been nuanced and really delightful to see.

IDK what he did in Japan but I'm glad for it LOL.

he’s been phenomenal since he’s been back. i’ve seen him 6 times now in the last month and every time feels so fresh and like he’s doing the show for the first time.

great to see a refreshing life being breathed into the role! i have nothing but great things to say about his performance as of late

WELCOME BACKKKK missed ur account sm !!! idk if u answered this back on t-i-t-t but how r the socs (the background mostly non-speaking ones like chet, bev, etc.) played personality wise?

definitely depends on whoever is playing them, but i'll go off of the usual actors for them! gonna be long so bear with me (i also feel like a lot of the soc personalities have come from fanon, this is based off the show but i do love what fans come up with..love a good soc hc post)

marcia (sg mariani)- we see most of marcia out of all the soc ensemble members because of the drive-in, so i feel like a lot of people know her personality!

bev (melody rose)- stereotypical mean girl! it's in the mannerisms too,,if you watch melody in the background of the drive-in scene, you can see her facial expressions that just convey that! wanna say shes a pick me for lack of a better term, but i think shes moreso just a believer of everything shes known growing up..she doesnt experience the moral dilemma that marcia does.

chet (rj higton)- i love chet so much, like that's my best friend, my son, my brother, etc. i feel like he's just happy to be in the friend group, like he's just happy to be there and to have fun with his friends. idk if this is a hot take? but i think he's definitely the closest to bob other than paul. and we all know he's never paired with a girl the whole show until the ending w cherry and he just hangs out with paul the whole time...which i definitely read into <3

brill (barton cowperthwaite)- he is such a wife guy imo. bro just loves bev and hangs out with his guys and thats it. like i truly have nothing to say ab brill except he just loves his gf. barton is also so good at faking being drunk it's one of my fav little parts of the show

trip - ok trip is hard b/c in the 29 times i've seen the show..i've only seen sean twice..and one of those times was last march. so. dont remember a lot LOL. but all the guys who play trip are usually just jerks imo. you can see that a lot in his relationship with marcia and how hot & cold he is with her. i saw someone on here say he's a guy's guy and i agree so hard with that.
