Clara's favorite colors are most assuredly pink, red, white, and brown. Really, there aren't many colors she doesn't like, but these are her favorites.

Lily of the valley, lilac flowers, spreading bellflowers, daisies and lotuses are her favorite flowers.

Bellflowers aren't as commonly known so

As for foods... honestly, you wouldn't expect it from someone so thin/petite, but Clara is something of a foody; she loves most kinds of foods. Her parents and grandparents were always passionate about food and instilled a love of cooking, baking, and food in general with their kids. Clara in particular absorbed this love like a sponge. One of her favorite parts about getting to travel around the world is trying all kinds of unique cultural foods.

That being said, she does have some favorites.

She absolutely loves sweet pastries like cupcakes, cake, pie, muffins, cinnamon rolls, butterkaka (a Swedish dessert, basically a sticky cake made out of cinnamon rolls lol), and especially carak (a Swiss dessert).

In terms of foods that aren't desserts, she loves shellfish, potatoes (in any form), peaches, creamy soups, mushrooms, most egg dishes, and souffle pancakes.

And of course, I'm told lingonberry jam or berries is a must for most Swedes and Clara is no exception. She always keeps a good stockpile of lingonberry, sauce, and breakfast bars for herself and Frisk.

Clara just has so much love in her heart for so many things. There really isn't a lot of stuff she doesn't like, honestly.

She's got this amazing, fascinating intensity to her in whatever role she's in. She commits 100%, and she's got this light in whatever she's in that's stunning. She's utterly convincing no matter what she plays, from an amnesiac possible lost princess, from a nun, from a woman taking her revenge on the town that wronged her, to light romantic comedy. She's never missed in any role I've seen her in! Also she became quite the MILF.

God, she's fantastic. She's both beautiful and a compelling actor who's more than capable of putting the whole movie on her shoulders if necessary. It's worth noting that while her beauty is conventional, she was seen as refreshingly "natural" with more eyebrows and less makeup than many other leading ladies of the time. She's well known for her role in Casablanca, but in Notorious, Spellbound, (both available on archive.org ) and Gaslight (1944) she shows how immensely capable she is.

Choosing 1-3 movies where Bergman was at her hottest was agony because, of course, she was always at her hottest. Not just because she was beautiful but because she was absolutely willing to go up against the bs women in Hollywood were constantly dealing with. When exiled from Hollywood for having an affair with Roberto Rossellini, not only did she refuse to apologize at any point, but she went on to say that Hollywood's films had grown stagnant and boring to her. Though she said she appreciated her time working there, she wanted to try new, different techniques (hence starring in Italian neorealist films, working on stage, and acting under directors like Ingmar Bergman). She was not afraid to chase after her artistic ideals and go outside the box regardless of what society had to say about it. From her first movie to her last she killed it. There's so much more to say about Bergman's career and life, but I've already written five million words so I'll stop at that.

Okay, I'm finally Anna lore posting. She's had a lot of development and has... A lot of lore. I'll try and make it sparknotes version but... SHEESH.

She's changed a lot since I did her bust ref so here's her updated bio-

Name: Anastasia Beatrice Monroe/ Anna Monroe/ Major Monroe

Age: 36

Sexuality: Bisexual or Lesbian (???, subject to change, I am still pondering)

Job: Burnt out NCR major

She's NCR born and bred- The only child of a brahmin barron.

She was always expected to be pretty and proper, and was expected to marry a wealthy politician for the benefit of her family the second she turned 18.

She was expected to behaved and act in a very specific way, to be a useful tool in securing future wealth for her family via marriage and to make many children for whoever her husband would be.

When she was 14 she started sneaking out of the house at night, dressing in common clothes, hanging out with normal people- Really seeing how other people lived. She begged her father to used the vast wealth he acquired to make life better for people- He refused believing that he got where he is through intellect and hard work, and if people really wanted the same life style they should also have to work hard for it.

Anna hated this, hated that he had the means to help but kept looking down on other people.

She ran away from home at the age of 15- Determined to not use her dad's money, that she didn't earn. She joined an underground fighting ring- and, at first, was REALLY bad at it. Getting her ass kicked and barely earning enough caps to get by, until a pre-war ghoul, who used to be a boxer back in the old world, took pity on her and offered to train her. She's particularly fond of ghouls, and will not tolerate any bigotry against them because of this.

She continued in the fighting ring until she was old enough to sign up to the NCR Army at the age of 18. She joined up with the naive ambition of making lives better in the far flung regions of the wasteland and making the wasteland a better place.

She determination, loyalty and unique combat style meant she worked her way up the ranks, becoming a Major by the age of 24. in during her time as a lower level NCR soldier she met her girlfriend Teegan, and she kept the relationship mostly secret and as a result was put in charge of the same outpost Teegan was stationed at.

Her first big combat mission (with her in command) was a DISASTER. Many soldiers were lost to Legion forces, including Teegan. Anna never quite recovered from the guilt of having lead people who trusted and loved her to their deaths.

From this point on she was particularly harsh with those under her command, correcting any mistakes, being tight with the rules. She would NOT loose anyone because of her own lax attitude or mistakes again. During the day she plays her role well- Following the rules, giving commands. She will be the perfect Major because the thought of her troops dying because she was too lax with them is unbearable.

During this time she developed a deeper hatred for the legion, it was no longer a nebulous "these people are the enemy", it was personal/ She has a particular fondness for torturing Legion prisoners, getting her revenge by breaking them down. She doesn't consider Legionaries human, they're a toy for her to take her revenge on.

Ana's big into fashion and art, both as an enjoyer and a creator. I like to imagine she's actually going to college for art and fashion design. She loves to sew and do needlepoint on occasion, greatly enjoys card games and games of chance, and is a closet DnD nerd. She's also a ferocious conspiracy theorist who likes following alleged alien or cryptid sitings.

Ana's incredibly studious and organized, and she's way smarter than she gives herself credit for. She has an eidetic memory, is incredibly perceptive, and has a penchant for organization. She's really good at maintaining order and a consistent schedule, which is a godsent for Kris' ADHD, executive dysfunction and time blindness lol

Predominantly, she loves pink, red, green and teal colors.

She loves various Asian-styled foods, long bao dumplings and gyoza being some of her favorites. She also loves the mess out of creamy soups. In terms of desserts, cinnamon rolls and fruit cobblers are some of her favorites. She also loves various teas and iced coffee.

Sidenote: She's very picky about what she eats/drinks, and will only consume products that were ethically grown, harvested and processed.

Hoooboiiii good question!! Haha because like, I’m actually kinda prepared to answer this, because I’ve thought about what I would’ve liked out of a Tangled sequel and, tsk I gotta tell you it’s very VERY different from the series XD 

However even though the series isn’t my idea of a Tangled sequel, if I was at this moment granted a wish that would allow me to magically alter the series as a whole, retroactively, I wouldn’t remove anything that the series introduced, because I like a lot it. I like Varian, I like Lance, I like Adira, I like Bruce Campbell, I like all o’ dem fools. Oh and the bangin’ SONGS YELL HEAH! Good food ^^. I also think the Sundrop and Moonstone stuff, the Demanitus stuff, even the Zhan Tiri stuff all sound cool on paper. Queen for a Day was pretty unforgettable for me so I’m not itching to change that in any major way. I honestly wouldn’t want to change the whole series in any major ways. Just, y’know, fix what’s there. Improve the flaws. Develop the underused characters and backstories. Make Eugene’s story mean something and matter. Make Quirin’s note mean something and matter. Add more moms for crying out loud. Explore Rapunzel’s trauma and actually SHOW us her recovery iIn full detail. 

Oh wait. Actually I WOULD make a dramatic change: Arianna is the focal parent NOT Frederic. That’s literally going hand-in-hand with “write Rapunzel’s recovery better.” She needs to see what a good mother looks like.

The Zhan Tiri disciples song a villain song. Heck, Zhan Tiri gets a villain song. OOOF could you imagine Zhan Tiri getting a song in the same vein as “In the Dark of the Night” from Anastasia??? That’d be so cool, oh jeez. 

Also I’d have the broadway stars be casted a little more creatively, like, I love what they did with Eden Espinosa, Jeremy Jordan, and James Monroe Iglehart, but I wish they went even harder with it. Gavin Creel being casted as that disciple (I dont remember his name) is exactly what I mean. Get Andre De Shields as someone! How about Susan Egan? Ooooh please could we get Aaron Tveit in there somewhere? Sigh, in my dreams I guess. 

Oh, and make sure they actually get to sing ^_^

One last major change would be to make Eugene’s mom live alongside Edmund. Literally I dont get the big issue media has with doing the “estranged parent” trope and restricting it to one parent (who is usually the father). Like what is it with Hollywood and writing BOTH parents? What’s wrong with a seasoned older husband and wife reuniting with their son, becoming key supporting characters in the story? 

I like Edmund too much to get rid of him, so. Why not have two cakes? 

Oh btw Eugene’s mom would be Susan Egan. No debate. 

Also I’d have the score be directed a little differently. Have actual leitmotifs that aren’t using music from the songs (as much as I like when that happens). Give Rapunzel and Eugene a “love theme” that also gets used for any time any other character is growing as a person or going through changes, like some type of “dream” theme that represents that character having and pursuing a want or goal. Then when Cass or Varian become evil, you twist that “dream” leitmotif to sound sinister because their “new dream” is something dark and twisted. Then you take that and incorporate it into their themes to make villain themes. Could you imagine if Varian and Cass had leitmotifs used when they were good, then when they betray Rapunzel, those leitmotifs are musically altered to sound sinister???

chapter one - i make a scene

so on tuesday i was given an idea by the wonderful @une-vie-pour-une-rose and obvi bc i am who i am i had to go investigate.

so i went down to the rink to interrogate a certain brother of a teacher i'm attached to. let's call him bob bc he looks like a bob. i'll transcribe an abridged conversation below:

bob (in the lobby, minding his own business, taking membership money from a yoga mom): oh hi anastasia i thought you had today off -

me: we need to talk.

yoga mom: 👀

bob: about?

me: my mother.

bob: oh. yeah. i don't know anything. sorry.

yoga mom: 👀

me: i'm not dumb, mr. [his real name]. and i think i deserve to know.

bob: *long winded sigh* (calls his coworker to come take over for him and we go into the employee break room)

bob: ok. what do you know.

me: nothing. just that you know something about my mom that i don't and i want to know what it is.

bob: how do you know i know anything?

me: that comment you made? about your brother knowing my mom?

bob: shit. sorry. fine. but before i say anything i want you to know that your mother was a good person -- not just a good person, an amazing person. this whole town tried to demonize her after she died. but really, no one was a better person than [mother's name]

me: okay...?

bob: well, my brother and i knew [mother's name] for a while. (won't go into detail, he basically just explains how they met) and well [K]...[K] loved her more than he loved anyone else in the world.

me: *intensely confused mixed feelings*

bob: honestly who wouldn't, she was very beautiful. and this is what tends to happen to beautiful women. like marilyn monroe. they turned her into a demon. because look, she was forced into a marriage with your father by her parents and his parents and i personally think she was in love with [K] too...

me: (quietly) did she cheat on my dad then?

bob: that was the rumor. everyone hated her because they thought she was. personally, i don't think she did, no matter how she felt about [K]. at least he never told me anything happened.

bob: well after she...passed...he went insane (K). he refused to speak to anyone, he took a leave off of teaching. he was...never the same. he eventually got married but we all know how that turned out. no matter what excuses he gives you, his marriage didn't work out because his wife knows that [K] will always love your mother more than anyone.

me: then why did you tell me to be careful?

bob: *nervous bob noises*

me: why?

bob: because i got scared that he was...look. you're nearly identical to your mother, anastasia. i love my brother...i know he wouldn't do anything wrong...

me: you thought he'd make a move on me. try to replace my mother with me.

bob: now that you say it like that it sounds horrible.

me: i don't think he sees me that way.

bob: yeah. i did kinda feel he saw you as a daughter when i saw you two together. which would make sense since he... (pause)

me: since he what?

bob: nothing just since he loved your mother so much.
